Dante: That's my mother's way of making sure we eat healthy.
Ned: You really didn't have to do this.
Olivia: Ned, you know me. This is me. This is -- this is what I do. Besides, I want you guys all well-fed for the big day tomorrow.
Michael: I think well-fed is an understatement.
Dante: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But if Ned's too focused on the food, he won't be able to partake in other... bachelor party activities.
Olivia: Are you saying that I have an ulterior motive?
Dante: Eh, I'm a detective, Ma. It goes with the territory.
Michael: Look, don't worry. We'll make sure to sober him up before you walk down the aisle.
Olivia: Well, I'm gonna hold you to that.
Dillon: Well, this is your last night of freedom, too. I mean, you must have some big plans.
Olivia: [Laughs] Like what? What, can you really see me -- what, do you think I'm gonna put on some plastic crown and a feather boa, whoo-hoo at the top of my lungs over some ding-dong stripper? You really see me doing something like that?
Ned: Well, it's not... so crazy, is it?
Olivia: Ned! Have you ever seen me d-- what the hell is everyone looking at me like that for? All right, what's going on here?
[Knock on door]
Olivia: Uh...are you gentlemen expecting a stripper?
Ned: Not us.
Olivia: Uh, okay.
Stella: So, this is how you want to treat your family? With shame and disrespect?
Curtis: Auntie, I love you. I love my family, okay? But I want to be with Jordan. And she wants to be with me. Now, you're gonna have to accept that, okay? 'Cause that's the way it is.
Jordan: We don't expect you to give us your blessing. We -- we know you're not gonna like it even one bit. But for TJ's sake, can't we just try to make something work? Even if it's just we're co-existing respectfully.
Curtis: Aunt Stella?! Auntie, what happened? What just happened? Talk to me!
[Cell phone chimes]
Carly: Josslyn? Honey, we have to talk.
Josslyn: Sorry, Mom. I've actually got to go pack. Unless you want Dad to buy me a whole new wardrobe in Australia?
Carly: That's what we have to talk about. It's about your father.
Jason: Hey. Elizabeth.
Jason: Glad I ran into you.
Elizabeth: What's up?
Jason: Have you seen Sam?
Elizabeth: No. Why? Is everything okay?
Jason: Yeah, I-I'm sure it is. It's, uh... she had an appointment with Dr. Bensch, and I was supposed to pick her up, but it seems she already left.
Sonny: Max, do me a favor? Can you set up a-a meeting with the distribution people tomorrow afternoon? Yeah. Thank you. What -- you're a couple minutes late. Jason just left.
Sam: It's okay. I came to see you. Give you a gift.
Sonny: [Groans] Sam...?
Olivia: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. What is -- what is this? What is all this?
Laura: This is us taking charge.
Lulu: You kept putting off planning your bachelorette party. So I made the executive decision to plan one for you!
Laura: Yep. Are you ready for your big night?
Lulu: Mm-hmm. Well, you know, let's let Ned get back to having his good time, while we show you one of your own.
Olivia: Wait. No, no, no, no, no. You guys -- you guys.
Laura: Okay, I got your purse. Come on now. Let's go.
Olivia: Honest to God -- honest to God, I love you. I love you, and I really do -- I appreciate all this, but I -- I wasn't planning on doing anything real crazy tonight, so, I --
Laura: Well, then you have nothing to worry about, 'cause nothing real crazy is gonna happen tonight. The three of us are just gonna go upstairs and have dinner together, and then, after that, we're gonna meet some more of your friends over at The Haunted Star.
Lulu: Not to mention the stripper.
Lulu: Nothing. Nothing.
Laura: [Laughing] Come on. It's gonna be fun, honey. Really, we're not gonna let you do anything that would jeopardize your big day.
Olivia: I know. I know, it's just -- it's just...
Ned: Sweetheart. Sweetheart, you are gonna have a great time. I promise.
Olivia: I'm gonna hold you to that. Oh, Lord.
Curtis: Talk to me, Auntie. Please? Auntie.
Jordan: I called the ambulance. They will be here soon.
Curtis: How soon?!
Jordan: Just keep her comfortable. Hey, look at me. I think she had a stroke.
Josslyn: What do you need to talk to me about Dad? Are you gonna tell me I won't like living with him? Because you can't change my mind about this, Mom.
Carly: Okay, I'm sorry for all the upheaval you've been through in the past few months -- and believe it or not, I understand why you're doing this. But, unfortunately, you cannot move in with your father.
Josslyn: You do know it's not up to you, right? You guys have joint custody. He has as much right to me as you do.
Carly: I'm well aware of all the particulars of the custody agreement, Josslyn. That's not the issue here, okay? Your dad is not gonna be in Australia for six months. He has business in Abu Dhabi, okay? He's investing in a telecommunications firm.
Josslyn: I don't care.
Carly: He's not gonna be there.
Josslyn: I don't care. You did this, didn't you?
Josslyn: You knew how much happier I'd be living with Dad, so you called him, you told him you thought it was a bad idea.
Carly: No, honey. I did not do that.
Josslyn: Oh, because you never do anything that sneaky, right?
Carly: Okay, not with your custody or anything to do with you. Sweetheart, if you don't believe me, go call your father and ask him.
Josslyn: Fine! I will!
Elizabeth: Is Sam okay?
Jason: Yeah. She's -- I mean, I'm -- I'm sure she's fine. It's just, uh... I guess the best way to put it is that ever since Scout was born, she's been run a little ragged.
Elizabeth: Well, I hate to break it to you, but that's pretty normal.
Elizabeth: I'm sure she seems like a different person right now, but you've got to know that's the exhaustion talking. Once she gets back on a regular sleep schedule, she'll be as good as new.
Sonny: Sam...? Sam?
Sonny: You said you came here to see me. What's up?
Michael: He's bluffing.
Dillon: All right, gentlemen.
Dante: What are you doing?
Dillon: Gentlemen. Shall we move on to the next part of the evening?
Ned: Ooh. What are those?
Dillon: Nice. Cubans. Had them brought in special for the occasion.
Michael: Oh, yeah.
Dante: Thank you.
Michael: Uh, actually, no, thank you. I'm all right.
Dillon: What? This is a rite of passage.
Ned: You do know this is a non-smoking hotel, right?
Dante: Oh, man, you are right. We will never hear the end of this.
Dillon: Are you guys serious right now? What good is a bachelor party without some cigars?
Ned: Uh, one that won't end with the bride busting our butts. Sorry, bro, we -- we're gonna have to make do.
Laura: Okay, Lulu's gonna be here in a minute.
Laura: This is for the guest of honor.
Olivia: Guys, you really shouldn't have. Is all -- is this all really necessary?
Laura: Yes, it is. It's your bachelorette party! How many of those do you get in a lifetime?
Olivia: Well, hopefully, just the one.
Laura: Then -- then you should enjoy it. Beginning with a well-deserved martini.
Olivia: Yes, and I really do appreciate all of this. I just think you guys are going overboard.
Laura: Yeah, well, that's kind of the point. And besides, you're the one who keeps this place going all the time, and I think tonight should be your night to get the five-star treatment.
Olivia: Okay. Okay.
Laura: So, drink up, my friend.
Laura: Cheers. Hear, hear.
Olivia: And I really -- I do appreciate this. I just -- I'm not feeling that festive right now.
Laura: Do you have cold feet?
Olivia: No. No, no, no. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's not that. I just don't want to risk being, you know, hungover for the big day tomorrow. I just think I should take it easy tonight.
Laura: Oh, my God, Olivia. You've been responsible all your life. It's your bachelorette party. Take a night off!
Olivia: [Sighs] You know, Laura, you're right. I have had my entire life to be responsible.
Olivia: What's one night? Huh?
Laura: That's right. That's the spirit. Absolutely.
Olivia: Okay, okay. You know what? You just give me a chance to get a second wind.
Laura: That's my girl. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to return some phone calls. A lot of people need directions.
Ned: While I have your attention, there is something that I was hoping you guys could help me with.
Michael: Should we be worried?
Ned: Well, I hope not. It's, uh -- it's just a little surprise for tomorrow -- the wedding. And I-I want your honest opinion.
[Smoke detector blares]
Dillon: Uh...guys? Fire!
Dante: Oh, man!
Josslyn: No, it's okay. I understand. I love you, too, Dad.
Carly: I can't say that I'm sorry that you're gonna be staying with me. I know you really wanted to be with your father, though.
Josslyn: Like you even care.
Carly: I know that you're upset with me. I understand why. But I'm not the bad guy here.
Josslyn: You're right. Sonny is.
Carly: Josslyn, we have been over this, okay?
Josslyn: No. No, we haven't. The reason Dad had to invest in Abu Dhabi is because he can't do business here in the US, thanks to Sonny.
Carly: Okay. All right. What happened between Sonny and your father got out of hand, and Sonny was wrong. Okay, you have every right to be mad at him.
Josslyn: And you're not?
Carly: It's complicated.
Josslyn: Really? 'Cause it seems pretty simple to me. As long as you're with Sonny, you're condoning what he did to Dad.
Carly: That is absolutely not true! Sonny was wrong, and I told him so. But it is a very complicated situation.
Josslyn: Then explain it to me! Tell me what's going on!
[Cell phone rings]
Josslyn: Ugh. You've got to be kidding me.
Carly: Honey, I-I-I have an emergency with work.
Josslyn: Oh, well, of course, you do.
Carly: No, I do. I have -- I have to get over to the hotel. Look, I want you to remember --
Josslyn: That I'm grounded. Yeah, I know.
Carly: I was gonna say that I loved you. We'll talk about this tomorrow.
Josslyn: [Sighs heavily]
Sam: Jason was taking me to my doctor's appointment. Got a text from you. Of course, he'd rush right over. I figured he'd be here.
Sonny: Well, sorry, Sam. I told Jason it wasn't an emergency.
Sam: [Scoffs] So, you say "jump" and he says "how high?"
Sonny: Sam, you always come first with Jason. I don't want to get in the middle of that. I-I always try to do right by both of you.
Sam: Okay. You want to do right by my family? Stay as far away from us as possible!
Carly: Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate it.
Firefighter: You got to be careful where you light these things.
Dillon: Yeah. In my defense, I didn't actually light it.
Carly: No, you brought them to a non-smoking hotel.
Dante: Uh, you should probably just keep your mouth shut.
Carly: At least no one was hurt. All right, it could have been worse.
Ned: Sorry, Carly. I actually thought this was going to be a quiet bachelor party.
Carly: There's no such thing. So, where's my son?
Dante: Uh, he's out...running an errand, I believe. You have anything you want me to pass on to him?
Carly: Uh, yes, but it can wait, all right? You guys have a great night. Take it easy on the room.
Firefighter: Well, we're all clear, but it's procedure for me to check the other rooms on the surrounding floors.
Carly: Really? Do you have to?
Carly: Okay, all right. Can you be discreet, please? Now I have to go explain all this to the other guests. Thank you.
Dante: Well, it looks like we dodged a bullet.
Ned: How do you figure?
Dante: That could've been my mother.
Olivia: Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful house. I m-- house? It's a mansion! It's practically a castle. But how am I gonna ever be comfortable living there?
Olivia: Laura! You're back! [Laughs]
Laura: Hey, uh, how many of those have you -- I was gone for 15 minutes. I bet you haven't eaten today, have you?
Olivia: Girl, that dress is not gonna fit itself!
Laura: Oh, boy.
Olivia: You know what? Keep 'em coming.
Laura: Uh, no. I-I think we'll be good. This'll -- uh... okay, let's get rid of that.
Laura: Ohh, Olivia, honey. Remember how you said you wanted to take it easy tonight?
Olivia: Yeah, but you know what? Then I started thinking about tomorrow, how I'm gonna have to get up in front of all those people and talk -- and I hate public speaking -- and then I s-- I'm gonna have to promise to love and honor Ned till death do us part. And I hate death. And so, I thought maybe I should just get a extra start on some liquid courage.
Laura: Well, that you've done, my dear.
Olivia: You know what? Let's get on over to The Haunted Star! I'm ready to see that stripper! Whoo!
Laura: Hey, hey, hey!
Olivia: Oh, yeah!
Laura: Olivia, quiet down, hon. Okay. Look, there's been a change in plans. Uh, Lulu's gonna get us another room upstairs, and -- and we're gonna cancel out on the second part of this evening's festivities. You gonna be all right?
Olivia: All right.
Sonny: What's going on, Sam? You and Jason, y-you never have to worry about your family with me. You -- you are my family.
Sam: You think -- you think you're my family, Sonny? Are you there with me at night when I put my kids to bed? When I worry about if their father's gonna come home in the morning?
Sonny: Sam, I don't understand --
Sam: You are not my family. Jason is my family. Do you understand that? I lost him because of you. Because he went out in the middle of the night to save you! We made our way back to each other. And that's how it's gonna stay. Do you even want to know why?
Sonny: Sam, I don't --
Sam: Do you want to know why?
Sonny: I don't know why!
Sam: Because he left the business, Sonny! It was his decision to leave you, and it was the best decision he's ever made! And I'm not gonna let him get pulled back in!
Sonny: Okay, I don't know what's going on right now with you. I really don't. But I got to tell you some good news --
Sam: What? What do you got to tell me?
Sonny: There's something that you don't know. I made a decision, and as soon as I tell y--
Sam: What is that?
[Cell phone rings]
Sonny: Okay, go ahead. No, get that.
Sam: Excu-- it's Jason. Hey.
Jason: Hey. [Chuckles] Where are you?
Jason: What? I came to pick you up from your appointment, and you were already gone.
Sam: Oh, uh, I'm so sorry, Jason. I, um, I figured you were gonna be a while, so I just -- I took a car.
Jason: Yeah, I figured you might have. It's okay. I'll meet you at home. Would you like me to bring you some dinner?
Sam: You know what? No. Why don't we, um, just meet at the Metro Court restaurant? I haven't eaten anything yet.
Jason: Yeah? You sure? Um, I'll fill you in on my doctor's appointment.
Jason: Okay. I love you.
Sam: I love you, too.
[Cell phone drops]
Sonny: Are you -- what? Are you all right? Is everything --
Sam: Sonny. I am -- I am so sorry. I don't know what happened right now. I guess I just snapped. I'm a little stressed out.
Sonny: Well, the -- the new baby -- that makes sense.
Sam: Yeah. C-can you do me a favor? Can you not mention any of this to Jason for me, please? Let me talk to him about it. Please?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah. Whatever.
Jordan: They are taking care of her, baby. Okay? We have to remain positive.
Curtis: That woman has been part of my life as long as I can remember. She practically raised Tommy and me.
Jordan: I know. I know.
Curtis: I owe her so much, you know? The thought of her dying and the -- and dying before I can make it good with her? It's just, I-I can't -- I can't even think about it.
Jordan: You can't do that.
Curtis: Dr. Munro. How's my auntie?
Griffin: Uh, she's doing much better. She's begun to regain her ability to speak. Her muscle movement shows improvements as well.
Curtis: How did something like this happen, man? One minute she was talking and then, uh, she just collapsed.
Griffin: Well, the commissioner's instincts were correct. Your aunt suffered a mild stroke.
Curtis: Oh, my God.
Griffin: But because you got her to the hospital so quickly, we have every reason to hope for a good outcome.
Curtis: Thank you for knowing what was happening. Thank you.
Jordan: I'm just so happy that we were able to get the help that Stella needed. Dr. Munro, you said that this stroke was mild. What are the chances that there's some permanent damage?
Griffin: Um, it's too soon to tell. You know, this level of severity is not uncommon with recurrent patients.
Curtis: Whoa, whoa, hold up. Recurrent patient? My auntie's never had no stroke, man.
Griffin: I'm so sorry. I'm -- I'm not at liberty to discuss her medical history.
Curtis: Doc, listen, man, uh, I-I don't care about protocol, okay? That's my family. Please. I'm next of kin.
Griffin: Um... we were able to get in touch with her primary-care physician. According to the records we were forwarded, this isn't your aunt's first stroke.
Jason: Sorry I missed you at the hospital.
Sam: Oh, come on. That's okay. I thought it'd be nice to have something other than Danny's leftovers.
Jason: What'd Dr. Bensch say?
Sam: Well, it turns out that I have an iron deficiency. And it's very common in new moms.
Jason: Iron deficiency?
Jason: So that's why you were tired?
Sam: Yeah. Apparently, all I need is some vitamins and sleep, and I'll be as good as new.
Carly: Wow. You okay? You look like you were a million miles away.
Sonny: Uh, yeah, well, Sam stopped by.
Sonny: And... I don't know. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Listen, uh, I thought you were going to the bachelorette party.
Carly: I am. I'm on my way. I just, um -- I just needed to talk to you.
Sonny: What's wrong?
Carly: Things aren't getting better with Josslyn. If anything, they're getting worse.
Sonny: [Sighs] Because of me.
[Cell phone chimes]
Curtis: Aunt Stella?
Stella: Curtis. I'm sorry, baby. I don't know what happened.
Curtis: I'm sorry. What happened was you need to rest. And you'll be as good as new. But I got to admit, you had your boy scared there for a minute.
Jordan: Both of us.
Stella: No need. Handsome doctor told me that I'm just fine.
Stella: What was that look?
Curtis: Dr. Munro told us that you had a stroke. And that it was not your first one. [Sighs]
Stella: He had no business telling you my affairs.
Curtis: Auntie, I am your family. I want to take care of you. [Sighs] Now, tell me what's going on.
Stella: [Scoffs] It was years ago, Curtis. It's so long ago, I can barely remember.
Stella: Shortly after your mother died.
Curtis: Why didn't you tell me?
Stella: Because you had enough on your plate. You'd lost your brother and your mother. No sense burdening you with this, too.
Curtis: Aunt Stella, you're not a burden. Don't you know that I want to help you?
Stella: I didn't need anyone's help. My doctor told me what to do, and I did it. Lowered my blood pressure, cut back on drinking, got more exercise. [Scoffs] I had it under control for years. I was doing just fine, baby. Until I showed up in Port Charles.
Laura: Okay, here we go.
Olivia: You guys -- you guys -- I can hold my liquor. You know that? I really can. I haven't been this wasted since the time that Ned talked me out of opening a hotel for dogs.
Lulu: I see.
Lulu: Uh, it's the martinis talking.
Olivia: No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Honest, that really did happen. Scout's honor. Scout's honor.
Lulu: Okay, uh, you know what? I think I need to call the girls and tell them to head home, okay, and cancel the stripper.
Olivia: What? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You don't got to do that.
Laura: Listen, honey, we can always book him for your anniversary party.
Olivia: Now, that right there, that sounds like a plan.
Lulu: Good luck, Mom.
Olivia: Oh, God!
Laura: Okay, Olivia. Now that we're alone...
Laura: ...Um, would you like to talk?
Olivia: About what?
Laura: Oh, I don't know, about why you downed four martinis?
Olivia: I already told you -- I am terrified of public speaking.
Laura: Hmm. Do you think maybe there's something else that you're terrified about?
Olivia: Like what?
Laura: Oh, I don't know, like, uh... getting married.
Olivia: You think I'm afraid of getting married?
Laura: Well, yeah.
Olivia: Laura... I'm terrified.
Laura: Oh, honey. It's okay. You know, it's perfectly normal to have some doubts. Yeah, there's no guarantees in life, even when you know you love someone. But, listen, there's only one question you need to ask yourself -- are you willing to spend the rest of your life without Ned?
Olivia: Not a chance.
Laura: That's all you need to know.
Olivia: Thank you, Laura.
Laura: You're welcome.
Olivia: You are a good -- you are a good friend.
Laura: All righty. Have a nice, little...nap.
Dillon: I'm gonna go see where Michael's at. I'm sorry to bust up the game.
Ned: Just as well. Michael would've cleaned me out.
Dante: Well, I'm sorry about all this, Ned. I'm sure we can find a way for you to enjoy your last few hours as a bachelor. Provided it's legal.
Ned: Of course.
Dante: Plus, this give me a chance to have the, uh, "If you hurt my mother, I hurt you" speech.
Ned: Well, you can if you want to, but I don't think it's necessary. I would, um -- I'd walk through fire before I'd ever hurt Olivia.
Dante: I know you would.
Ned: Dante, I want you to know that I really appreciate how you've always supported our relationship. And, clearly, you've inherited your mother's best qualities. I can see you always try to do the most right for the most people. So, if I've earned your approval, well, I consider that a -- a major achievement.
Dante: Thank you. You're a good guy, Ned. You stand up for what you believe in, the people you love, even if it means going against your family. My mother did the same thing. She always put my needs ahead of her own. And I've been spending my adult life trying to make it up to her, make sure she has everything she deserves and that she's happy. Nice to know I won't be doing that alone. Let me be the first to say it -- welcome to the family.
Ned: Thank you.
[Knock on door]
Olivia: [Groans] [Coughs]
Olivia: What's...? [Sighs] Mmm. Well, well, well. [Laughs] Looks like Lulu's brought the entertainment to me, huh?
Olivia: What are you waiting for? Don't you have a fire to put out or something?
Firefighter: I need to -- I need to do a quick inspection of your room.
Olivia: I think I need to do a quick inspection of your room! [Laughs] Okay, come on, ladies! Let's get this party started! Whoo! Whoo! [In a jail cell] Oh, boy.
Michael: Well, it sounds like I missed a lot while I was gone.
Ned: All things considered, it could have been worse.
Dante: Yeah. Just be happy you weren't here when your mother showed up.
Michael: Do I want to know?
Ned: Uh, probably not.
Michael: Well, I brought a bottle from Grandfather's private reserve.
Michael: I like to think he'd approve.
Dillon: No, yeah. He'd be fine. So, you and Olivia are now the head of the family. And I cannot think of two better people to remind us what's really important -- that our greatest strength comes from the love that we all share. Thank you. So, to my brother and his new bride. May your marriage bring you many years of happiness. And may that rub off on some of us Quartermaines. Congratulations.
[Cell phone rings]
Dante: Oh. Oh, sorry, guys. This is work.
Ned: Ahh. You know, it wasn't -- mmm -- wasn't that long ago that it felt like the Quartermaines were on the endangered species list. I mean, if someone had asked me five years ago if I'd be living in Port Charles under the same roof, with my little brother, cousin, not to mention Monica, I would've laughed in their face. But here we are. And I couldn't be happier that we're all back together. Because there's nothing -- nothing more important than family.
Michael: Hear, hear.
Dillon: Hear, hear.
Dante: What about my mother? I'm sorry? She's where?!
Olivia: Well, excuse me? Excuse me! When do I get my phone call? I cannot stay here tonight. I'm getting married in the morning!
Officer: I can't help you there.
Olivia: Okay, listen, listen, listen, listen. Just talk to my -- my son. He's a detective in this precinct. He can straighten this whole thing out.
Officer: Your son?
Olivia: Yes, yes. Detective Dante Falconeri! You ask anyone -- they'll tell you!
Officer: I'm new to the force, but I know Detective Falconeri's mother is no streetwalker.
Olivia: Streetwalker?! Whoa, whoa, whoa! You think I'm a hooker?! I-I guess I can't really argue with that.
Stella: There's just no rhyme or reason for why this happened again. Best I could figure, I probably should have just been taking it easier.
Curtis: Well, starting right now, I'm gonna make sure you do. You hear me, Auntie? I'm not losing you.
Stella: My sweet boy. You saved me.
Curtis: Well, actually, that was Jordan. She's the one who knew what was happening.
Stella: Did she now.
[Knock on door]
Elizabeth: Ms. Henry? Hi. I just need to take your vitals.
Stella: Go ahead, baby, before I get tired of being poked and prodded.
Jordan: Um, you want me to -- I'm gonna call TJ and let him know. I'm sure he's gonna be so glad to hear how much better you're doing.
Stella: Thank you, Jordan. You really did save the day.
Griffin: Commissioner? Are you all right?
Jordan: Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. I -- Stella's first stroke happened years ago, and lately, she's been under a lot of stress. Um, is it possible that I... that that could have been the reason for her recurrence, or...?
Griffin: Look, I can't really say. Uh, and it's impossible to predict. But the survival rate decreases with each recurrent stroke. Which is why I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure she doesn't have another one.
Sonny: Like I've told you before, I-I don't want to come between you and your daughter.
Carly: I know that. I know that. And I understand why Josslyn's upset. But, at the end of the day, I'm the parent, you know. I have to make the decision that's best.
Carly: I just wish she wasn't so stubborn.
Sonny: Well, I wonder where she gets that from.
Sonny: All right, listen, um, if you need me to do anything, I'll do it. You know that.
Carly: Oh, thank you.
Carly: I just don't think there's anything to do. You know, even if Jax wasn't working in Abu Dhabi, I don't think he'd let Josslyn live with him. And if we were all here, we could sit down, and we could figure this out. But that's clearly off the table.
Jason: Well, I am glad that, uh, it's nothing serious. But I'll do whatever I can to help.
Sam: No, no. You don't need to do anything. I have to figure out a way to get some more sleep.
Jason: [Laughs] You will.
Sam: Well, what did Sonny want?
Jason: Actually, he had big news.
Jason: He's quitting the business.
Jason: Yeah. I could hardly believe it, myself. But, uh, h-he seems serious. And, uh, he's looking for a successor.
Sam: A successor?
Sonny: That's right. You know who my successor will be, don't you?
Carly: Hi. Sorry I'm late.
Laura: Oh. With the night I've had, I could use a drink and see a stripper.
Carly: [Laughs] So, where's the bride-to-be?
Laura: I'm afraid that Olivia is in for the night.
Carly: What?! Before 10:00 p.m.?
Laura: Yeah. Um, four martinis on an empty stomach. She's down for the count.
Carly: Ohh! Wow.
Carly: Well, I guess she decided she needed some liquid courage, huh?
Laura: Yeah, maybe. But I think it's all for the best. 'Cause, really, I think what she really wanted was just a quiet night in tonight, so, she got it.
[Cell door opens]
Dante: Uh, yep. Yep, that's her.
Officer: I'm so sorry, Detective. She said she was your mother, but come on. She looks young enough to be your sister.
Dante: All right.
Olivia: Oh, aren't you sweet. [Laughs] [Sighs]
Dante: Are you okay?
Olivia: That depends. Who knows about this?
Dante: Well, I-I convinced Ned to let me be...
Dante: ...The one to bail you out.
Olivia: Ned knows?
Dante: Look, all he cares about is that you're safe, okay?
Olivia: Ohh, that's assuming I don't die of humiliation.
Dante: Well, look at it this way, ma. At least you have one hell of a story to tell...
Dante: You're all right.
Jordan: Hey. Um, I should go. I -- I think Stella would like to spend some time with her family.
Curtis: You sure everything's okay?
Jordan: Yeah. Yeah, you know, it's just -- it's been a -- it's been a crazy night.
Curtis: Yeah. Well, okay. Um, we'll meet up later?
Curtis: Okay. Oh, and thanks for saving the day.
[Josslyn's cell phone chimes as she happily texts with Oscar]
Sonny: Hey, it's me. Listen, I got a job for you.
Sonny: You're never gonna get rid of me. You should've finished me off when you had the chance.
Jason: Sam? Hi.
Sam: Did Sonny ask you to take over?
Jason: What? No. I told you I'm done with the business. And now that Sonny is too? Maybe now, our families can have some peace.
Sonny: You know I'll never get out. I'll never let Jason go.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Sonny (to Josslyn): I just hope that one day you'll be able to forgive me.
Nina (to Nelle): You're gonna walk into that wedding, and you're gonna blow Michael's mind.
Amy (to Nathan): I don't think we should do this any more.
Ned (to Dante, Lulu, Michael, & Dillon): Can I ask all of you for a huge favor?
Olivia (to Monica, Laura, & Kiki): That's it, you guys... the wedding is off!
