Sonny: Oh, wow, this just might be the exit ramp I'm looking for.

Sam: The nurse said Dr. Bensch will be ready to see me soon. [Sighs] I can't wait to get this over with.

Jason: Yeah, I bet. But I imagine the exam won't take that long.

Sam: I just want to get to the bottom of whatever's going on with me. That's all.

Jason: Yeah, I know. But whether it's stress or something medical or nothing at all, I'm glad we're doing this.

Sam: [Chuckles] "We"? You mean me, right?

Jason: No, I mean we. Like I said last night, we're in this together, okay?

Sam: Okay.

Jason: Okay.

[Cell phone rings]

Jason: Sorry. I thought I'd turned this thing off.

Sam: Well? Is it the babysitter?

Jason: No, it's Sonny. [Clicks tongue]

Molly: Okay, so, try not to mention anything about Julian or Sonny or what they do, and, um...

Alexis: Okay.

TJ: Molly?

Molly: Hi! You're here! [Chuckles] Hello.

TJ: Why are you smiling like that?

Alexis: Uh, you must be Aunt Stella. I've heard so much about you. I'm Alexis. So nice to meet you.

Stella: Nice to meet you, too.

Curtis: What is up?

Jordan: Well, Obrecht is locked up, awaiting arraignment -- set for tomorrow. [Breathes deeply]

Curtis: Well, all right. Well, let's go get our celebratory drink on, huh?

Jordan: Uh, you know, I'm sorry, but there is still one more arrest before I can call it a night.

Curtis: Oh, she gave up an accomplice. Huh, I wasn't aware...

Jordan: No. No, no. There's no accomplice. The person I have to arrest is you.

[Dance music playing]

[Music ends]

[Both laughing]

Anna: Oh, wow. That was so good. [Breathing heavily]

André: Feel better?

Anna: Yeah. You know, you should have a dance floor in your office, 'cause then all your patients would just get cured like that.

André: [Chuckles] I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Anna: Mm-hmm. [Exhales] You feel good?

André: Among other things.

André: [Clears throat] Did I -- did I step on your feet?

Anna: No, no, no. Well, I didn't notice, anyway.

André: [Chuckles]

Anna: Just, you know...

[Both breathing heavily]

Anna: Well, that happened.

[Cell phone rings]

Nina: Hello? Yes, this is Nina Reeves. Yes, I'll accept the call. Oh, my God.

Valentin: Nina... [Breathing heavily] It's so good to hear your voice.

Nina: Valentin... how is this possible?

Valentin: Well, even prisoners of the international criminal court are given certain privileges -- among them, the occasional phone call.

Nina: You should call Charlotte.

Valentin: I did. Went straight to voicemail. I assume Lulu's screening. Listen, if you, uh -- if you see her, will you please tell her that I'm...

Nina: Is that why you called me -- to give a message to Charlotte?

Valentin: No. I miss you. It can't be that hard to believe. I love you. Are you still there?

Nina: [Voice breaking] Mm-hmm. I'm here. Have they set a trial date yet?

Valentin: No, there's not gonna be any trial.

André: I didn't plan that. It --

Anna: No. I-I know.

André: Yeah.

Anna: 'Cause we're just...

André: Friends.

Anna: Friends, right.

André: Why don't we just, uh, take a breath and...forget it happened?

Anna: Is that what you want? I mean, 'cause, you know, if not... [Inhales] Maybe we could go back to my place?

Sam: What did Sonny want?

Jason: I don't know. It didn't say. I'll find out later, though.

Sam: Well, what if it's something important?

Jason: I can't imagine it being more important than what we've got going on right here and right now.

Sam: I hate you feeling like you have to worry about me.

Jason: Okay, relax.

Dr. Bensch: Sam Morgan? Dr. David Bensch.

Sam: Hi.

Dr. Bensch: Hi.

Sam: Nice to meet you. This is my husband, Jason.

Jason: How are you?

Dr. Bensch: Hi. Sorry to keep you both waiting.

Sam: No worries.

Dr. Bensch: Sam, Dr. Lee sent over your reports, so let's get started. Right this way.

Sam: Okay, great.

Jason: Cool.

Sam: Whoa, whoa, whoa. You don't have to come with me.

Jason: I'd like to.

Dr. Bensch: Jason, if you don't mind, I would prefer to meet with Sam alone. She'll be done in 30, 45 minutes.

Sam: So, 30, 45 minutes, great. That's just enough time for you to see what Sonny wanted.

Jason: You want me to go see Sonny instead of going in there with you?

Sam: Yeah. I mean, might as well make good use of your time. [Chuckles] I mean, who knows? It might be good news for a change. Go, go. I'm fine.

Jason: [Clears throat]

Stella: I'm happy these two arranged this so we could all get to know each other.

Alexis: Me, too. I'm very happy to meet TJ's favorite person.

Stella: Well, second favorite.

Stella: And I look forward to meeting more of your family. I understand you have two more girls and you're a grandmother?

Alexis: I am a grandmother. I have two grandbabies.

Stella: Oh.

Alexis: What about you? Do you have kids?

Stella: My -- my sister's kids are plenty for me.

Alexis: Well, from what I've seen, you have a lovely family.

TJ: We, uh -- we spent Thanksgiving with Alexis.

Stella: Really? "We," who?

TJ: Me and Uncle Curtis.

Stella: And your mom? Wasn't she there?

TJ: Yeah.

Stella: Speaking of Curtis, where is he? Isn't he coming?

TJ: I'm sorry, Aunt Stella. He couldn't make it.

Curtis: Are you serious? You ain't trying to arrest me.

Jordan: I don't have a choice.

Curtis: What's the charge?

Jordan: Um, unlawful access to confidential medical records?

Curtis: Whoa! I-I had access! Look, Monica set up the whole thing. She... [Laughs] Yeah. Oh, okay. You got me. You got jokes.

Jordan: Ooh. [Laughs]

Curtis: Good one.

Jordan: Yeah.

Curtis: Mm-hmm.

Jordan: Yeah, yeah. I'm sorry, Mr. IT Guy, but could you help me, you know, fix a printer jam...

Curtis: [Sighs]

Jordan: ...[Chuckling] Or something like that?

Curtis: Oh, well, um, that can be arranged.

Jordan: [Chuckles] You have to admit, I got you good. Right? I got you good.

Curtis: Yeah. No, I admit it. You got me good. But, look.

[Elevator bell dings]

Curtis: We closed the case, right?

Jordan: Mm-hmm.

Curtis: So, uh, come on and, uh, have a drink with me. Let's celebrate.

Jordan: One drink. But I am so serious -- one drink.

Curtis: And nothing more.

Singer: Something in your chemicals that keeps me wanting more I wish that you were mine laced with something stronger than I've ever had before I did that to your mind, but it's killing me inside I'm breathin' in your fumes I get high then crash right into you I keep breathin' in your fumes ignite and crash right into you you're gonna be the death of me

Molly: So... what looks good?

Stella: I think TJ'S trying to cover up for the fact that Curtis and I are going through a rough patch. I hope you don't think it's rude.

Alexis: Me? Rough patches? I've got three daughters. I'm sure whatever is going on with you and Curtis will blow over. He's -- he's probably working on a case. You know, my daughter's husband actually works with him. So, he says he's a stand-up guy. You should feel really proud.

Jordan: Curtis, I feel like I made a mistake. What -- what the hell is wrong with me?

Curtis: [Exhales deeply] Ain't nothing wrong with you. Unless you count the fact that you're denying how you really feel.

Jordan: No, not denying how I really feel is what got us here in the first place.

Curtis: Baby, the past -- it's just that -- the past. We deserve... [Smooches] ...Happiness.

Jordan: Right. Right, right. Why don't you try floating that by Stella? Hmm? How about that?

Curtis: [Sighs deeply] Yeah. Look, I know my auntie pushed a few buttons, okay?

Jordan: [Sighs deeply]

Curtis: But her feelings aren't the only one to consider in this equation. TJ is cool with us. And we can't rule out how we feel.

Jordan: But that is your family.

Curtis: Yeah. Mama and Tommy are gone. And I can't change that. But we can't live our life looking backwards. So, as we move forward and try to make a better life for ourselves, if that offends my auntie, then she's just gonna have to live with it. And she's gonna be pissed. But it's not gonna destroy her life. But, honey, you and I, we're on the verge of building something special, and I am not willing to give that up.

Nina: Are you cutting a deal?

Valentin: [Through cell phone] No. No, there's no deal to be made here.

Nina: Why wouldn't you be tried?

Valentin: I'm not gonna make it to opening arguments, much less a verdict.

Nina: I don't understand.

Valentin: It's these people.

Nina: The Dutch?

Valentin: No, the WSB. The fact that the Chimera ever existed, it embarrasses them. They don't want the publicity that a trial's gonna bring. They're gonna make me disappear.

Nina: Well, if they touch you, I'll splash it all over the cover of Crimson. And I -- I know a lot of journalists in mainstream publications.

Valentin: No, Nina! Don't print a word. Don't say anything. As far as you're concerned, I was arrested, you cut me out of your life, you don't know where I am, and you don't care.

Nina: I'm not gonna lie, I'm not gonna pretend.

Valentin: You have to. If you say anything, you're gonna bring a heap of trouble on yourself, and it's gonna fall to Charlotte. Listen, I -- I shouldn't have said this much. I-I shouldn't have said anything. I-I apologize.

Nina: Wait, Valentin.

Valentin: I led Charlotte to believe that I was coming back, and I'm so sorry. It was just the foolish wish of a desperate father who couldn't accept reality. But I do now. And I want you to know I'll do whatever I can to protect you. I'm sorry I bothered you. I just w-wanted to hear your voice. I won't -- I won't call again.

Nina: Valentin! Valentin, wait. Wait a second. Wait! Wait!

Valentin: Goodbye, Nina.

Nina: Valentin, wait! Wait!

[Receiver clicks]

André: So, you're asking me back to your place?

Anna: Mm-hmm. I thought maybe it'd be more conducive to --

André: To what, exactly? Well, hey, before you answer that, just, I want you to know that I actually dislike scrutinizing a moment to death when I'm not on the clock.

Anna: Okay.

André: But your friendship is very important to me.

Anna: Well, as is yours to me.

André: And I need to scope out the situation. Like, I'd hate to possibly ruin a good thing for a night of fleeting satisfaction.

Anna: Could we go for fleeting satisfaction?

André: Yeah.

Anna: [Chuckles]

André: Is that what we'd be risking? Would we be risking our friendship? Is that why you're asking me back to your place?

Anna: [Sighs] I don't know.

[Cell phone rings]

[Both groan]

Anna: Seriously?

André: [Chuckles] That's yours. That's yours.

Anna: Come on.

André: Yep.

Anna: Saved by the bell.

André: Yep.

Anna: [Chuckles] Hello?

Nina: Anna, it's Nina.

Anna: Uh, Nina, um, I'm in the middle of something.

Nina: I need to talk to you right now. It's important. It's about Valentin.

Dr. Bensch: Dr. Lee indicates that you're recovering well from your daughter's birth.

[Keyboard clacks]

Dr. Bensch: What seems to be the problem?

Sam: Well, um, my husband just wanted me to get checked out.

Dr. Bensch: Really?

Sam: Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bensch: What's going on?

Sam: We've been having... um, I wou-- more like disagreements, not -- not "fights." And I, um -- I don't know, I guess I've been a little bit more short-tempered than usual. And he thinks there's something wrong with me.

Dr. Bensch: Couples have disagreements, even fights, especially with a new baby. And lack of sleep can make anyone short-tempered. Is there something else, Sam?

Sam: Yeah. I-I-I think so. I think there is something in my life that's definitely off.

Sonny: Thanks for coming by.

Jason: Absolutely.

Sonny: How's the arm?

Jason: It's all good. It's all good. It's in there. So, uh, when'd you get back?

Sonny: Uh -- uh, this morning. Thanks for warning me about Garvey.

Jason: Yeah, of course. So, is he still in that San Juan hospital?

Sonny: Yeah.

Jason: Or is he in a cell?

Sonny: No, he's in the hospital for now. They're gonna extradite him, um, at some point.

Jason: Okay.

Sonny: Did, uh, Sam give you hell?

Jason: [Laughing] She gave me something.

Sonny: Yeah.

Jason: It's okay. What's up?

Sonny: Uh, I'm making a major decision. And I just wanted you to know first.

Jason: What kind of decision?

Sonny: I'm giving up the territory. I'm getting out of the business.

Nina: Ah, thanks for coming. Thank you. Come in.

Anna: What exactly did Valentin say?

Nina: Okay, um... I don't know word for word. I really don't, but... [Sighing] Okay. Essentially, he said that he would never live to stand trial, that the WSB would "disappear" him to avoid publicity, and he was worried about me and Charlotte. He didn't want me to do anything to cause trouble. It was like he was saying goodbye, Anna. Charlotte thinks her father is coming home. She's gonna be devastated if he doesn't.

Anna Why did you call me?

Nina: I don't -- I don't understand this world. I don't -- I don't know the WSB. Aren't they the good guys? I mean, would they really kill him to shut him up? And, if so, what are we gonna do to stop it?

Stella: I know those young folks wanted to pay, but I just hate for them to spend all this money. TJ's working so hard for money for school.

Alexis: Oh, I know that. But I know my daughter, and she will find some way to pay us back. So expect to have an ambush brunch at some point soon.

Stella: [Laughs] I suppose it's your own fault for raising such an independent, capable young woman.

Alexis: Well, thank you very much. But TJ's no slouch. I think they complement each other very nicely. My other two got my relationship gene. Although my older one, though, she is actually in a solid marriage right now. But we have had our misadventures in the romance department.

Stella: Oh. Everyone makes mistakes.

Alexis: Well, that's true. It's just hard to watch your children make them. That's when I have a tendency to want to swoop in and save them. And I have done that, and it has backfired, so I have a no-tolerance policy -- now. [Chuckles] I mean, if my children -- if I want them to be independent and capable, I have to let them make decisions about their own lives.

Stella: And if one of your precious daughters took up with the person responsible for another daughter's death, what would you do then? Still not interfere?

Curtis: We've been sitting on a lot of stuff for a long time, and that's over. All right? Everything's out in the open now. We're free to live our lives out loud, as they say.

Jordan: Yes, brazenly, in front of everyone...

Curtis: Yes, yes.

Jordan: ...Without thinking about how Stella feels -- no regard to her feelings? You know who's gonna pay for that in that scenario? You.

Curtis: All right, I'll pay for it. Because I know that my auntie is gonna come around eventually. Because she loves her some me, and she loves, loves TJ. Now, she may raise some hell, granted, but no worries. I can handle it.

Jordan: I don't think so. I don't -- I don't think so. You know what? I don't think that she's ever gonna get past any of this anytime soon.

Curtis: She's not the only stubborn one in the family, okay? I've made my choice, and I choose you.

Dr. Bensch: So, what is it that feels off?

Sam: Oh. [Sighs] It's hard to put into words. There are times that I feel, I don't know, not like myself.

Dr. Bensch: Can you be more specific?

[Stool rolls]

Dr. Bensch: Uh... what was going on the last time you felt this way?

Sam: [Thinking] Stop this, Sam. He'll get the wrong idea. You'll have to go away, and then you won't be able to protect Jason from Sonny.

Dr. Bensch: Sam?

Sam: Um, I, um... [Chuckles] I just feel achy and just a little dull. I probably just have a virus or something.

Dr. Bensch: Hmm. Well, uh, that is a possibility. But tell me more about these disagreements and your short temper.

Sam: Okay, there's, um, one issue that Jason and I used to see eye-to-eye on.

Dr. Bensch: Mm-hmm.

Sam: And, um, my opinion has changed, and Jason and I have been clashing a little bit more. I-I understand that his feelings haven't changed. I just -- I can't help the way that I feel right now.

Dr. Bensch: That's reasonable.

Sam: It is?

Dr. Bensch: Mm-hmm.

Sam: Good. So there's nothing wrong with me, right?

Dr. Bensch: Uh, no. No, I-I can't say that yet. Uh, there could be a few possibilities, including a virus. Are you familiar with postpartum depression?

Sam: [Scoffs] I mean, somewhat, but I'm not depressed.

Dr. Bensch: It presents in many ways. Unusual irritability can be one symptom. Since you're here, let's take some blood and start ruling some things out, okay?

Sam: Okay.

[Stool rolls]

Dr. Bensch: Why don't you text your husband and let him know that you're gonna be running a little longer?

Sam: Ah, there's no need for that. I'm sure he's busy.

Jason: So, you decided to give up the territory.

[Glasses clank]

Sonny: Eh, it's been a long time coming.

Jason: Carly know?

Sonny: I mean, she was there when I made the decision last night. We -- we changed our mind about the divorce.

Jason: Oh, really?

Sonny: Yeah.

Jason: That's great news. Congrats. This changing of the minds -- did that happen before or after you decided to leave the business?

Sonny: Everything happened last night. Garvey had a gun on Carly, and I thought he was gonna kill her. And I said to myself, "If we survive this, then...I'm done -- done with it." Life's too short. Carly deserves more, including her peace of mind.

Jason: Yeah. You both do.

Sonny: And you know what? I-I can't keep doing it -- you know, everything -- on account of what happened when I as a punk kid. I got to change. I got to start a new li-- you did it. I'm doing it.

Jason: Smart move. You seem determined, and, uh, I'm with you all the way. But I got to ask you a question.

[Bottle cap rattling]

Jason: What makes you think you can pull it off?

Sonny: So, do you doubt my sincerity or my ability to make it happen?

Jason: Sonny, I don't doubt anything. But Port Charles is a key piece of real estate.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Jason: Whoever controls that, they control transport routes in and out of Canada.

Sonny: Right.

Jason: And that person, for the past, what, 20-something years -- that's been you. So, you step aside, someone is gonna want to come in and take your place. And whoever that is, is gonna want to make sure that you're out of the picture. As in, can't come back.

Sonny: I've gone over this w-with Carly. I know the risks more than anybody. But I-I can't keep... I can't keep trying to stay with the control and the power if it means I'm gonna lose everybody I love. When -- when -- when Morgan died? It changed everything. And I know it's not as simple as me handing over a resignation letter. But I got -- I, you know, whatever it is I got to do, I got -- I got to do it.

Jason: Okay. So, do you have an exit plan? "Retiring" isn't gonna happen overnight.

Sonny: I know. I know. And I-I talked to Carly about -- I mean, it's gonna be careful planning.

Jason: You need a successor. Someone you can install who's not gonna screw things up. More importantly, someone who's not gonna come back after you. Hey, look. Is that why I'm here? Do you want me to do it?

[Door opens]

Dr. Bensch: I've got your preliminary results back.

[Door closes]

Sam: Oh. That was really fast. I was just texting Jason that I'd be delayed.

Dr. Bensch: Well, they're just the initial results. The lab will delve deeper. But it does show that you have an iron deficiency, which we can treat.

Sam: Oh. So that's -- that's it? An iron deficiency?

Dr. Bensch: Well, low iron levels can cause some physical symptoms, like fatigue and fogginess, which, in turn, can affect your mood. You have an infant at home. I am betting that you're not getting as much sleep.

Sam: [Sighs] You'd be right about that.

Dr. Bensch: I'd like you to schedule another appointment so we can, uh, set up a few other diagnostic tests, cover all the bases.

Sonny: Don't believe him, Sam.

Dr. Bensch: [Muffled] In the meantime, I'm putting you on iron supplements.

Sonny: He can't fix what's wrong with you.

Alexis: I hope I didn't overstep, and I'm certainly sorry if I did.

Stella: I know. But our situations aren't interchangeable, so let's not take a one-size-fits-all approach to how we each deal with our families, shall we?

Alexis: Fair enough. It's really none of my business.

Stella: I see where Molly gets her big heart and good intentions. And I like that very much about her. And, just so you know, I don't interfere. I just have a knack for making my feelings known in a way that gets me the desired results.

[Elevator whirring]

[Both Jordan & Curtis chuckle as they enter holding hands]

Anna: All right, Valentin doesn't have any reason to trust the WSB. I do, though. Because, yes, they have made mistakes in the past, but I know the current director, Frisco, very well. He isn't going to have anyone assassinated.

Nina: Okay, so you think he'll stand trial?

Anna: Yes. That is my understanding, yes.

Nina: I don't really care about your "understanding." Your understanding doesn't really matter to me. You know what matters to me? Valentin! Valentin matters to me!

Nina: If I hadn't done what you said -- and told you where he was -- he would be on the other side of the planet right now with Charlotte, and I'd be with them, because he was gonna send for me. And, yeah, we'd be fugitives, and that's terrible and horrible. But you know what's more terrible? What if you were wrong and Valentin is right, and then we'd find out that he disappeared? [Voice breaking] And then who's gonna tell Charlotte that her father is never, ever coming home? Who's gonna do that, Anna?

Valentin: "My dear Nina, I'm writing to thank you for the happiest months of my life. There was never any reason for you to trust me or believe in me, yet you did. You gave me a chance to be better, and for a little while, I was. I know I gave you too many reasons to doubt me. For that, I am sorrier than I can say. I promise you -- I swear on everything sacred -- I do love you. I will always love you. The time we spent together has been a gift, not only for me, but for our daughter, Charlotte. I'm grateful she's old enough to remember. Charlotte will always carry the love we gave her -- the breakfasts, the bedtime stories, and the memories of that one perfect Christmas. She'll always have you in her life, to love. Please keep loving her, Nina. Please stay in her life. Because it turns out you were the greatest gift I have ever given her. I wish I could have given you both so much more. I love you. Valentin."

Anna: I don't know what you want me to tell you, Nina. Valentin stole the Chimera. That is espionage, plain and simple. It's a crime.

Nina: A crime he committed for your sister, who escaped. But of course, you know nothing about that.

Anna: I don't.

Nina: Yeah, I think it's really convenient that you're friends, you're pals with the head of the WSB. What'd he do -- just look the other way while your sister's cell door was unlocked?

Anna: Okay, you do not know what you are saying right now. You understand me? You don't have any idea.

Nina: [Voice breaking] You're right. I have no idea what I'm saying. All I know is I fell in love with Valentin, I married him, and everything was amazing until you showed up. Breaking into our home, pointing the finger at him with all these accusations. And then, when you stopped doing that, your sister took over. And now Valentin is in prison, and he thinks he's gonna die, and you're telling me, "Trust the Bureau. Just trust the Bureau." [Scoffs]

Nina: So I guess that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna trust the Bureau.

Anna: Nina, listen to me. I have made mistakes in the past, and so has Valentin. And those mistakes have put him where he is right now. The Bureau is not going to kill him, but they will see him convicted. So, if I have any advice for you, it would be to distance yourself.

Nina: Well, he's in the Netherlands, and I'm here, so --

Anna: No, that's not what I'm saying. If Valentin calls you again... it might just be better for both of you if you don't pick up.

[Door opens, closes]

Alexis: Well, it's, uh, lovely to see you both. And thank you for the lovely evening.

Stella: You just missed TJ and Molly.

Curtis: I wasn't aware we were having a family meeting.

Stella: Obviously. However, you would have known had you deigned to join us tonight. Oh, that's right -- you were "working." Too bad you were too busy to make time for your family.

Curtis: I was working, and even if I weren't, I probably wouldn't have showed up. You know why? Because I know that this night was important for Molly and TJ. They don't need any additional drama.

Stella: Oh, and you didn't add any drama by strutting in here with her on your arm?!

Curtis: I'll admit, okay, that I made a mistake, and that mistake was giving in to your every wish. But please believe, I have since corrected that mistake.

Sonny: There was a time that -- that I would have expected you to take over. But that's not -- that's not what I'm asking. I haven't figured out who I'm gonna have as my successor yet. Whoever I choose, there's gonna be people that don't like m-my decision. They're gonna be coming after you. And I know that you've moved on. I'm just saying, you got to watch your back.

Jason: Y-you're saying, whatever plan you come up with, I need to come up with one, too.

Sonny: Better to be ready.

Jason: Yeah.

Sonny: Right?

Jason: Yeah.

Sonny: [Chuckles]

Jason: You know what? I turned my ringer off so we wouldn't be disturbed, but Sam is at the hospital.

Sonny: Hmm.

Jason: And I did miss a text. Oh. That's lucky. She's running a bit behind, so I don't have to pick her up right away.

Sonny: Well, that means that we get to have a toast, then.

Jason: Oh, yeah?

Sonny: To a peaceful transition... [Sighs] ...And who knows what's coming next.

Jason: [Laughs] Whatever it is...

[Glasses clink]

Jason: ...We'll handle it.

Sonny: Right.

Dr. Bensch: You need to boost your iron levels, which should help increase your energy. And also, it would help if you enhance your diet. Lots of green, leafy vegetables.

Sonny: The only way to solve your problem is to get rid of it. [Speaking muffledly] Get rid of what's distracting Jason.

Sam: Y-yeah.

Dr. Bensch: Great. You can set it up with the nurse.

Sam: I'm sorry? Set what up?

Dr. Bensch: Your follow-up appointment for more tests.

Sam: Oh. [Chuckles] Of course. Sorry, I just zoned out for a second.

Dr. Bensch: You okay?

Sam: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. I'll see you in a couple weeks.

Dr. Bensch: Call me if you need to come in sooner.

Sam: Thank you.

[Door opens, closes]

Sam: [Sighs heavily]

André: Anna. Is Nina in the hospital?

Anna: What? No. Oh, no, no, no. No, I-I-I saw her, and I dealt with the whole situation, so...

André: So, what brings you here?

Anna: Well, I-I thought you'd be here.

André: And you thought you'd what?

Anna: Um... well, just... I thought maybe we could just... [Giggles] ...Pick up where we left off?

Valentin: Seems we've done everything in reverse. We slept together before you knew my real name. We got married on impulse. We exchanged wedding bands before you had a proper engagement ring. So, will you do me the honor of wearing this one?

Nina: Yes, I will.

Valentin: Will you continue to be my wife... for as long as we both shall live?

Nina: Yes.

[Door buzzes open]

[Door closes]

Valentin: You're not my regular.

Man: I'm with the WSB.

Valentin: Yeah, I'm sure you are. Listen, this is a letter for my wife. Actually, she's probably my ex-wife by now. But once it's been properly screened, I would appreciate it if you make sure that she gets it.

Man: That's not my job.

Valentin: No, of course, it's not. You're here to deal with me.

Man: Stand up. Hands behind your back.

[Handcuffs click]

Valentin: Can we get on with this? I don't want to lose my nerve.

Man: Yes. Let's go.

Stella: So this is how you want to treat your family -- with shame and disrespect?!

Curtis: Auntie, I love you. I love my family, okay? But I want to be with Jordan, and she wants to be with me. Now, you're gonna have to accept that, okay, 'cause that's the way it is.

Jordan: We don't expect you to give us your blessing. We -- we know you're not gonna like it even one bit. But for TJ's sake, can't we just try to make something work? E-even if it's just we're coexisting respectfully.

Curtis: Auntie?

Curtis: Auntie?!

Jason: Hey, Dr. Bensch. Where's Sam?

Dr. Bensch: I don't know. We completed her appointment a little while ago, and then she left.

Sonny: Max, will you do me a favor? Can you set up a -- a meeting with the distribution people tomorrow afternoon? Yeah. Thank you. What? You're a couple minutes late. Jason just left.

Sam: That's okay. I came to see you, give you a gift.

Sonny: [Groans as Sam stabs him with a syringe repeatedly]

On the next "General Hospital" --

Ned: Uh, guys, fire!

Curtis: Stella, what just happened?

Laura (to Olivia): It's your bachelorette party. Take a night off!

Elizabeth (to Jason): Once she gets back on a regular sleep schedule, she'll be as good as new.

(Sonny collapses while Sam watches)

Carly (to Josslyn): We have to talk. It's about your father.
