Alexis: A cup of coffee to go, please? Black. Thank you. Just the person I was looking for.

Julian: What are you doing here?

Alexis: I just had a productive conversation with Olivia, who's agreed to maintain the status quo. She'll keep full custody. You get to keep visitation.

Julian: Well, that's, uh, that's good. That's good news.

Alexis: Good? I thought you'd be over the moon.

Julian: Sorry. I-I am. I am.

Alexis: Yeah, you're not thinking about Olivia or Leo. What's on your mind?

Amy: [Sighs] Are you nervous? 'Cause in case you can't tell... I am a wreck. [Chuckles]

Nathan: I could tell.

Amy: [Sighs]

Nathan: Take a deep breath. It's gonna be all right. The worst thing you can do right now is make this into a big deal in your head.

Amy: But it is a big deal, literally. We're meeting with the editor of the publishing house that either is or is not going to publish my book. [Sighs]

Nathan: W-- I thought you guys had an arrangement already.

Amy: [Scoffs] Contingent on a meeting with the man behind "Ask Man Landers."

Nathan: Okay, okay. Look, we -- we practiced it all night. We got this.

Amy: Right.

Nathan: You're gonna be my manager. You'll do all the talking.

Amy: Right.

Nathan: Okay?

Amy: Right. It's just so real now. [Chuckles] If the book comes through, I'll have enough money to help my brother. [Sighs] Thank you, Nathan. You really stepped up for me when you didn't have to.

Nathan: It's no big deal.

Amy: Yes, it is. You're an amazing guy, and I have no idea how I'll ever repay you. [Laughs]

Nathan: [Chuckles]

Nelle: I'm all done with the application. Um... do you -- are you sure that they're hiring? I mean, I didn't see any signs out front.

Garvey: [Chuckling] Yeah, total last-minute thing. A lot of our summer help decided to study abroad.

Nelle: Ah. Well, good for them.

Garvey: Yeah.

Nelle: And also hopefully good for me. I really need some steady income. Uh, do you know how long it'll be until I hear if I get the job or not?

Bobbie: Let me give you a hint... when hell freezes over.

Josslyn: Michael.

Michael: Hey! How did I get so lucky to have a visit from my little sister, huh?

Josslyn: Um, the usual reason -- aside from my father, who, you know, can't return to the US, you're the sanest person in my family.

Michael: Okay, what's going on?

Josslyn: Mom's getting back together with Sonny, isn't she?

Carly: Okay, I don't understand. I thought the liquor distributor was supposed to meet us at the casino.

Sonny: What can I say? He's late. You know, it's -- he's -- he's running on island time. You know everybody down here is all relaxed.

Carly: That's for people on vacation. He's running a business. Although that ocean breeze is really nice and relaxing. Wow.

Sonny: Yeah, I just -- I just thought it'd be more comfortable if -- if we waited, you know, here. Would you like to join me for some breakfast?

[Keys jingling, lock disengages]

Jason: Oh.

Sam: Hi! [Chuckles]

Jason: You're awake.

Sam: [Chuckles]

Jason: Was hoping you'd still be asleep. I was gonna pass these eggs off as homemade.

Sam: How long was I out?

Jason: Probably about 10 hours.

Sam: Wow. 10 hours? That's -- that's a long time.

Jason: Yeah, well, with the kids at Monica's, I figured I'd let you have as much sleep as you could possibly get.

Sam: Good. [Chuckles] I think maybe I went a little overboard.

Jason: Are you kidding me?

Sam: No.

Jason: You've been operating on no sleep whatsoever. You feel better this morning?

Sam: Yeah.

Jason: Yeah?

Sam: Mm-hmm.

Jason: Well, guess what. I've got some coffee.

Sam: Yum.

Jason: I'll go get it for you. Wait right here.

Sam: Okay.

Jason: Good morning!

Sam: Good morning!

Amy: We should get going. Remember, the publisher has agreed to pay Ask Man Landers through an LLC I set up, so if they try to get you to reveal your real name, just chalk it up to mystique. [Chuckles]

Nathan: Okay.

Amy: That's how famous writers who want to remain anonymous do it. Happens all the time. [Chuckles]

Nathan: All right. What? Something wrong?

Amy: Uh, your suit. It's missing something. I know. Ah.

Nathan: Ah.

Amy: [Chuckles] Ask Man Landers is a real advocate for pops of color. [Chuckles]

Nathan: Okay.

Nina: [Clears throat] Hi.

Nathan: Hey.

Nina: Hey, J. Looking sharp there.

Amy: [Chuckles]

Nina: Mm-hmm.

Nathan: Nina, hi, hey.

Nina: Hmm. Yeah.

Nathan: Hi.

Nina: Hi. Uh, it's been a while since we talked, and I wanted to know if you wanted to catch up over coffee.

Amy: Actually, we were just --

Nathan: I-I got a couple of minutes. I will meet you there.

Amy: Okay. [Chuckles]

Nathan: [Inhales deeply]

Nina: Mm. Isn't that the girl that you escorted to the Nurses' Ball?

Nathan: That is the girl that I escorted to the Nurses' Ball. That's Amy Driscoll.

Nina: Driscoll.

Nathan: Did you, uh, want to talk to me about something?

Nina: Yeah, just wanted to, you know, see what you were up to. Yeah. It has been very difficult for me at work. It's been a while since Maxie's been gone, and I-I just am having a really hard time finding the right replacement, and -- must be really difficult for you.

Nathan: Nina, what -- this hint-dropping -- what are you doing? Just say it.

Nina: W-what's going on between you and Amy Driscoll?

Nathan: [Sighs]

Nelle: I was just applying for a job. I don't need you ruining it for me.

Bobbie: Over my dead body will you ever get a job here.

Nelle: Oh, let me guess. Your family knows the owners of this place, too.

Bobbie: I'm the owner. Actually, the co-owner, with my brother Luke, but since he's out wandering the world, I get to decide who works here.

Nelle: I thought you were a nurse.

Bobbie: I have a lot of irons in the fire.

Nelle: Hmm.

Bobbie: My Aunt Ruby ran this place for years before she left it to Luke and me. So, no, you will not be getting a job here... ever.

Nelle: I get it. I'll look somewhere else. You know, I know -- I know that you hate me and why. But I've done everything that I can to stay out of your way. I mean, do you really have to make it your life's mission to destroy mine?

Bobbie: All you have to do is go back to Atlanta or Florida or wherever the heck you are really from, and I will honestly wish you well.

Nelle: Mm.

Bobbie: It's you staying in town that I have a problem with. Honestly, Nelle, when are you going to get it through your head... nobody wants you here?

Josslyn: Do you know where Mom and Sonny are right now?

Michael: On the island. There was a problem with the liquor distributor.

Josslyn: Oh, please. That is an excuse, and you know it. So does Mom, and when I confronted her about it, we got in a huge fight.

Michael: Okay, what -- what did you say to Mom?

Josslyn: That Sonny's lying to her, and even worse, she's lying to herself.

Michael: And what did Mom say?

Josslyn: That she's the parent and I'm the child, and while I still have a right to my feelings, she won't tolerate disrespect. Then she confiscated my phone and sent me to my room for the night. It's so unfair.

Michael: Okay. Josslyn, Mom is right. She's the parent. You're the kid. You can't police her life. You can't tell her what to do, and you definitely cannot disrespect her because if you try, she'll take your phone away.

Josslyn: What about the fact that she's flying off to Puerto Rico with the man she's supposed to be divorcing?

Michael: Joss, it's business! Okay? It's -- it's -- it's business. It -- technically, Mom is still the owner of the casino, so she has to visit with the liquor distributor in person.

Josslyn: Oh, you are way too smart to believe that.

Michael: Actually, I do believe it.

Josslyn: Come on, Michael. We both know what Puerto Rico means to Mom and Sonny. He's gonna try to get her back. And before you know it, we're all gonna be one big, happy family living under the same roof again.

Michael: Mm. Now, would that be such a bad thing?

Josslyn: Yes! After what Sonny did to my dad, I never want to live in the same house as him again.

Carly: Wow. I cannot believe how long it's been since I've been here. We used to come two or three times a year with the boys.

Sonny: You know, Carly, no matter how the divorce shakes out, I... I just want you to know that you're always welcome here. This is your place, too.

Carly: Well, until I sign it all back over to you, which I plan on doing, no strings attached.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Carly: Having the memories is enough.

Sonny: Well... to good memories.

Julian: Great news that you convinced Olivia. You know, I was hoping she'd see reason.

Alexis: Well, maybe you could use it as an opening.

Julian: To what end?

Alexis: To increase your visitation.

Julian: [Sighs] Well, listen. Um, I need to get back to the office. There's a lot of stuff going on right now. I was away for so long, it's left an impact for Derek Wells Media. I just need to put out some fires, but I promise you I will discuss things very soon, okay?

Alexis: Okay.

Julian: Mm. I'll see you soon.

Garvey: Julian. It's good to see you.

Julian: Good to see you.

Garvey: Happy you got out of prison. But not so happy that you return my phone calls?

Julian: Look, I'm out on bail right now, waiting trial. Things are pretty hectic around here, so I'm gonna go back to the office. We'll see you later.

Garvey: Not so fast... old friend.

[Dishes clinking]

Jason: Hey, Sam, you want a croissant or a bagel? I-I've got both. You could have both -- a croissant and a bagel. Why are you holding a knife?

Sam: The knife -- um, I found it on the coffee table.

Jason: Did I bring it out with the rest of the stuff? I must have. I blanked -- uh, wow. You're not the only one operating on no sleep.

Sam: Ooh. [Chuckles] I think you might be on to something. I can't believe how much better I feel. I've had a good night's sleep, and... my head feels so much clearer.

Jason: Good.

Sam: I'm so sorry. I -- I was acting pretty strange yesterday, wasn't I?

Jason: No need to apologize. I...[Sighs] I just assumed you knew what was going on, that I would go after Costa. But I can do better here. I promise, from now on, no more surprises, no miscommunication, no more secrets, okay?

Sam: Okay.

Jason: I love you.

Sam: I love you.

Jason: Mm.

Nina: I don't want to pry, but when I walked in, you guys were hugging each other, and she's all dolled up and you're in a suit. And she is right about the pop of color. It brings out your eyes. She's right. Just looks like you're involved.

Nathan: We're not involved. Nina, I'm just -- it's not a big deal. I'm just doing her a favor.

Nina: What kind of favor entails you to dress up in a suit?

Nathan: I can't talk about the specifics. I promised I wouldn't, okay? But it's nothing you need to worry about.

Nina: Okay. Well, if you need someone to talk to...

Nathan: Nina, I swear, I'm not having an affair, okay? I love Maxie. I only love Maxie. But I do have some place I got to go, okay?

Nina: All right.

Nathan: Okay.

Nelle: Here's an idea. You stay out of my way and I'll stay out of yours.

Bobbie: Hmm? I have a better idea. Why don't you stay away from my grandson Michael? Because Michael is actually the only reason why I think you would have any reason to stay in Port Charles. How sad. You can't tell the difference between affection and pity.

Nelle: [Remembers]

Michael: I'm sympathetic because of what you went through, but it's not the same thing as pity. Pity has nothing to do with it.

Nelle: Okay, then why are you here?

Michael: I want you to stay in Port Charles. And I'm going to do everything I can to convince you.

Nelle: You know what? Forget I said anything, all right?

Bobbie: Hold it, missy. Just what are you up to?

Nelle: Get off me.

Nina: Uh, is there a problem here?

Josslyn: Do you know how many nights I heard Mom crying over Sonny? How mad he makes her, how much he hurts her? What about all of those things Sonny did to my dad? You know, had him arrested and deported for the crime of trying to save my life. It's not fair, and Mom knows it. She should hate Sonny as much as I do.

Michael: Look, I'm sorry I haven't been around as much.

Josslyn: No. Don't worry about me. Worry about Mom. Talk to her. Tell her to build a wall around her heart that Sonny can't get past, so he doesn't keep hurting her like this.

Michael: That's the thing, though, Josslyn. It's -- it's not up to you and it's not up to me if Mom decides to forgive Sonny.

Josslyn: Well, even if she does forgive him... I never will.

Carly: You know, it's like I can literally feel my blood pressure dropping. [Sighs] Wow. It's so relaxing here.

[Cell phone chimes]

Carly: Oh. So, is that the liquor distributor? Is it time for us to go to work now?

Sonny: No. The opposite. We're, uh, we're staying here tonight.

Garvey: I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me.

Julian: Do I really have a choice? We've known each other for years and worked together. You know where all the bodies are buried.

Garvey: [Chuckles] Hey, I'm no fair-weather friend. I just spent the last five years in the slammer 'cause I wouldn't roll over on anyone.

Julian: Look, your trip to prison had more to do with your tactics on the West Coast. When you ramp up the violence, things get sloppy. Besides that, you and your crew were nowhere to be found when my crew was in dire straits last year. So let's cut to the chase, Garvey. You want something. You're not here on some sort of social business, so what do you want?

Garvey: I want the same thing you want, Julian... Sonny Corinthos out of the picture... for good.

Amy: We're on the same page, right? If she asks about your backstory, you don't answer.

Nathan: I know.

Amy: And the reason is...?

Nathan: To preserve the mystique.

Amy: And if she pressures you about why I'm the one doing most of the talking, it's because...

Nathan: Ask Man Landers is a man of mystery.

Amy: And if she --

Nathan: Amy, Amy, it's gonna be okay. It's just one meet-and-greet. You'll never have to worry about this again.

Amy: [Sighs]

Nathan: Take a deep breath.

Amy: [Inhales deeply]

Nathan: Let it out.

Amy: [Exhales deeply]

Nathan: Let's go do this.

Amy: [Sighs] Quinn Danvers?

Quinn: Uh-huh, and you must be, uh, Team Ask Man Landers. Come in. Thank you for meeting me in my hotel room. I had some business to take care of in Toronto, so, um, I was in the neighborhood, so to speak.

Amy: That's fine. We much prefer to meet in our neck of the woods instead of the hustle of Manhattan.

Quinn: Well, uh, you must be the voice behind Ask Man Landers. And you are...?

Amy: Amy Driscoll, his manager.

Quinn: Ah. Oh! So you're the genius who swooped him up before the publishing world could get their hands on him, huh? [Chuckles] Very shrewd. I don't say this often, but I am such a fan. You know, advice columns are a balancing act, especially ones geared towards men. You have to get the right proportions of sensitive to macho, and I have to tell you that you are quite impressive for a newcomer. So how did you get started?

Nathan: Well, I, uh --

Amy: Uh, believe it or not, as well as he writes, he's a little shy in person. But I can tell you that he wrote for both his high school and college newspapers, and after a few years out of college --

Quinn: Amy, Amy, I get it. A good manager wants to control the messaging for her client. But this isn't a book tour. This is a casual conversation, and I would like to hear Ask Man Landers speak for himself, okay? So why don't we sit down?

Nathan: [Inhales deeply]

Nelle: Oh, it's okay. I was just leaving.

Bobbie: Not soon enough for me.

[Cell phone rings]

Bobbie: It's the hospital. I've got to take this. When I get back, I seriously you recommend you not be here.

Nina: Um...

Nelle: Thank you.

Nina: No problem. No thanks necessary. I just don't -- I don't like to see someone kick someone else when they're down.

Nelle: Well, in my case, I kind of had it coming. I did deliberately smash a wrecking ball through Bobbie's family.

Nina: And yet you're choosing to stay in Port Charles. Why is that?

Michael: You have every right to be mad at Sonny, and no one can force you to forgive him any more than someone can force mom not to.

Josslyn: Don't act like you've never been mad at Sonny, Michael.

Michael: Of course, I've been mad at him. I-I've lashed out. I wanted to punish him, but look. The older I get, the more I realize not everything is so black and white. It's usually a lot more complicated, much more gray.

Josslyn: Yeah, but in the end, you always forgive Sonny. I just don't understand that.

Michael: Okay. I have forgiven him, Josslyn, because he's family. Do I get angry a-at Sonny? Of course, I do. But I also get angry w-with Dante and Morgan, Kristina, Mom. It hasn't happened with you and me yet, but it will someday because that's -- that's life. That's life. I-it happens. People have disagreements. And when that day comes, when you and I go at it, I'm not gonna cut you out of my life. I'm not gonna do that because, Josslyn, we're family, and nothing can change that.

Julian: So you want Sonny out of the way, huh? Well, you and half the eastern seaboard.

Garvey: I'm not kidding around. It's time for Corinthos to go.

Julian: Don't get greedy. You got a good thing going on the West Coast. Just stay there. There's no reason for you to try and invade Sonny's territory. Learn from my mistakes.

Garvey: I don't want Sonny's territory. This is about my brother.

Julian: What about him?

Garvey: He ran up against some of Corinthos' associates last year. It didn't end too well.

Julian: [Sighs] Look. Anyone in this line of business knows that it's gonna come with a risk. But I have to tell you... I mean, I've been around Sonny's guys long enough to know that they wouldn't do anything unprovoked.

Garvey: Are you sure? I read in the paper that your sister Ava is in the hospital. She got burned, didn't she? I'm sure Sonny had something to do with that. Look. We both have reason to want payback. We're both stronger with Sonny out of the picture. We team up, we make an example out of him. What do you say?

Julian: If you want to go after Sonny, that's your personal vendetta. There's no reason for me to get involved now.

Garvey: Jules, are you kidding me? Corinthos has been giving you nothing but grief.

Julian: Look, I'm out on bail right now. Cops have me under surveillance. The Feds probably do, too. Now, if I get involved in this in any way at all, I'm just gonna get you caught. Besides that... I'm out of that life now. I want something better for my future.

Sonny: The liquor distributor is not gonna be able to make it to the island till after 5:00, so the permit building will be closed by then.

Carly: Hmm, which means we can't settle the tariff problem till in the morning.

Sonny: Yeah, well, uh, we can have dinner if you want. Um, I could have the, you know, the staff fix up a room.

Carly: A room?

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: You really expect me to fall for this?

Sonny: Fall for what?

Carly: You set the whole thing up, Sonny.

Quinn: You might consider yourself an outsider, but I have high hopes for big sales for your book, because your writing speaks to the everyman demographic that we have been trying to nail down for years. It's direct, it's even blunt at times, but yet again, it's witty, it's insightful, and relatable, with just enough flair, you know, to hold the reader's attention. Oh, I especially loved the answer that you gave, um, Nervous in Nashville about moving in with his girlfriend. Um, how did you phrase that part again?

Amy: Oh, he really doesn't like to quote himself.

Nathan: No, Amy, it's fine. It's fine. Um, I believe my response was something like sometimes being unsure about a relationship gets conflated with being unsure about the future. Since no one can predict the future, that's what makes it exciting.

Garvey: You don't get to walk away from our business. You know that, right?

Julian: [Sighs] Well, I guess you're gonna have to consider me the exception to the rule. My trial's coming up. Even if I wanted to get back in the game, who's gonna risk doing business with me? I'm out on bail right now. I'm under scrutiny. I think it's better for both of us if I don't get involved.

Garvey: Fine. I'll take care of Corinthos myself. I won't forget your lack of solidarity, Jules.

Alexis: That sounded intense.

Julian: What are you doing here? I thought you left.

Alexis: I did. I came back because you were acting odd.

Julian: [Sighs]

Alexis: You were expecting that guy, weren't you?

Julian: No. I mean... [Sighs] He's been calling me. I've been doing my best to avoid him. Does that mean you heard the whole thing?

Alexis: I heard enough to know that he's targeting Sonny. So what are you gonna do with that information?

Sonny: There's an issue with the liquor distributor. You're the owner now, so that's why we're here.

Carly: Sonny, I know how this works! I know every move in your repertoire. I can't believe you're pulling this on me again.

Sonny: What are you talking about?

Carly: You trick me to come down here for the night, you take me to dinner, so you buy me a dress, then we go to the casino, we gamble, and I win big, surprise, surprise, the house loses. What are the odds?

Sonny: You're the owner of the casino now. That means you're the house. I-I-I don't have any strings to pull.

[Cell phone chimes]

Sonny: Hold on. Okay. Distributor's gonna be here at 5:30. Uh, if you don't believe me, you can check it.

Jason: I'm glad you're feeling better, baby.

Sam: Me, too. Moving forward, I'm not gonna let my exhaustion spiral out of control, okay? Between our mothers and my sisters, I think we have enough people to babysit, right?

Jason: [Laughs]

Sam: Right?

[Knock on door]

Jason: Expecting anybody?

Sam: No. Are you?

Jason: No. They always come at the wrong times. Ah. This is not a good time.

Julian: Hear me out. It's important.

Carly: Hey. Um, that was my mom. Josslyn's gonna stay at a friend's, so I'm clean for the night.

Sonny: Good.

Carly: Sorry for what I said earlier and thinking the worst about you. [Sighs] This place... it's always meant a lot to me. It's really special to us, and I knew it was gonna ignite some memories. I snapped at you, because I didn't want to... miss what used to be. So I'm sorry.

Sonny: Apology accepted. We're getting -- we're getting divorced, but that doesn't mean that we're not gonna be in each other's lives, and the divorce is not gonna change how important you are to me.

Michael: What brings you by, Grandma?

Bobbie: Oh, well... I ran into Nelle filling out a job application at Kelly's. Now, of course, I would never hire her, but it became very clear to me that she has no plans to leave Port Charles. And I can't help thinking that you are the reason. Nelle may have misconstrued the sympathy that you showed her when you went to see her in the hospital.

Michael: Hmm. So you mean she thinks I feel something for her besides pity? That's what you told her, right?

Bobbie: Nelle told you about our conversation?

Michael: She didn't mention your name, but it wasn't hard to guess.

Bobbie: [Sighs] How typical of Nelle to play the victim. Michael, can't you see what she's doing? The same thing that she did to your mother. She's working an agenda.

Michael: Okay, look. If you're right and Nelle is manipulating me, then it is my mistake to make.

Nelle: You know, I don't really want to go back to Florida. There's nothing but bad memories there. I have a few friends in Atlanta, but my old job as a teacher's aide has long since been filled.

Nina: Yeah. What about a fresh start somewhere else? A new beginning somewhere else?

Nelle: It's not really gonna matter unless I have a job, you know? And, you know, moving isn't cheap. I don't have much savings, and Carly's never going to give me a good recommendation.

Nina: I'll give you a good recommendation.

Nelle: I just think it makes more sense financially for me to stay here.

Nina: Mm. And I remember Michael sitting vigil outside your hospital room. That's the reason you're sticking around, isn't it?

Nelle: Maybe. But it's not gonna matter unless I get a job. And clearly, waitressing at Kelly's is out.

Nina: Wait a second, wait a second, wait a second. I may have an alternative.

Nelle: Really?

Nina: Yeah. It's been completely chaotic at my office since Maxie left.

Nelle: That's super flattering, but I don't know the first thing about publishing, let alone fashion.

Nina: No, no, no, no, no. Not -- not -- not publishing, no, no, no. I was able to fill Maxie's position with an assistant editor.

Nelle: Oh.

Nina: No, what I really need is, um, an executive assistant/ office manager to deal with the millions of details that go into publishing a monthly magazine. I really need that.

Nelle: [Chuckles]

Nina: Are you up for it?

[Cell phone rings]

Quinn: I'm so sorry. This is the office. I have to take this. Excuse me.

Amy: Well? How did you know?

Nathan: Well, come on. After I agreed to do this whole Ask Man Landers thing, I figured I'd probably better read up on it. I got to say, the, uh, the advice is pretty solid. You're -- you're a strong, compelling writer.

Amy: [Chuckles]

Nathan: I just wish you didn't have to hide behind an alias so the whole world would know how talented you are.

Amy: I thought I already explained this, but I'll explain it again. Guys won't take advice from a woman. If this book is gonna go anywhere, everyone has to think that you wrote it.

Nathan: Okay, okay, okay, well, besides the whole I'm a cop and it's bad for my image thing, I also don't like the idea of taking credit for somebody else's work.

Amy: You're not taking credit for my work. You're doing me the favor of a lifetime. [Chuckles] Don't worry. This charade won't go on for much longer.

Quinn: Um, what charade are you referring to?

Julian: Can I come in? I'd rather not talk about it in the hallway here.

Jason: Yeah, sure, come on in, man.

Julian: I do appreciate you being so, um... protective of my daughter.

Jason: Uh-huh.

Sam: What do you want?

Julian: An old associate is back in town. His name is Garvey. He runs an operation on the West Coast.

Jason: Okay, so why are you telling us?

Julian: Garvey wants Sonny eliminated.

Amy: Oh, I-I didn't mean literal charade. We were just talking about the song and dance of business, how even though we're making plans like there's a book deal in place, everything is hypothetical until the deal is closed and the contracts are signed.

Quinn: Well, your ears must be burning because that was the president of my division, and I have just been given the green light to officially sign you for a book deal.

Amy: For real? I can't believe this is happening.

Quinn: And once the contracts are finalized, the team is ready to begin to work supporting your book, but first off, your photo shoot.

Nathan: Wait. My -- my what?

Quinn: Well, honey, with a handsome face like yours, you are a gift from the publishing gods. We are going to sell a lot of books with your picture.

Nelle: Are you sure? I mean, I do. I feel qualified to be an office manager, but why are you giving me this opportunity?

Nina: Because you're smart. And it would make my life a lot easier.

Nelle: Well, I can definitely do that.

Nina: Also, I feel like I owe you.

Nelle: In what world?

Nina: For asking you to spy on Valentin.

Nelle: Oh.

Nina: You clearly didn't want to do it, and... I just felt bad that I put you in that position. When I saw you in the hospital, I just had so many regrets about the way I treated you, and I just -- I want a chance to make it better.

Nelle: I don't know what to say.

Nina: Say yes. Say you'll take the job.

Nelle: Yes! Yes, I'll take the job!

Nina: Good.

Nelle: This -- this is great.

[Both chuckle]

Bobbie: I understand that you are an adult and you are perfectly capable of making your own decisions. But I am always going to be your grandmother, and I am always going to give you my opinion. Now, whether or not you decide to listen to it, that is up to you.

Michael: Fair enough.

Bobbie: Oh. Michael, Michael, you're so much like your mother, so much like me. [Laughs] [Sighs] A million people can try to warn you away from something that is most likely going to hurt you, and yet you insist on making the choice for yourself.

Michael: And I'll live with the consequences.

Bobbie: Don't listen to your wise grandmother. [Chuckles] I never listened to anyone. Go get your heart broken.

Michael: Well, okay, if it makes you feel any better, nothing has happened between me and Nelle yet.

Bobbie: Famous last words. [Laughs] Bye, sweetie.

Michael: Bye, Grandma.

Bobbie: [Sighs]

Josslyn: Um, so, no wonder you were okay with Mom forgiving Sonny. You were about to do the same thing with Nelle.

Michael: Okay. Hey, look, if you, uh, you and your friend want to stay here tonight and enjoy the pool, I'm sure Monica wouldn't mind.

Josslyn: So in other words, the conversation's over?

Michael: Look, I can listen to you all you want. I-I-I-I c-- I can't tell Mom what to do, though. I can say the words, but -- but she's not gonna listen to me. She has to figure this whole thing out for herself. So, do you and Trina want to stay the night here?

Josslyn: Uh, thanks. But no. I'm sure we'll just find something fun to do at Trina's.

Michael: Okay.

Josslyn: And for the record, I think you're completely wrong and quite possibly a hypocrite, but, um... thanks for the talk.

Michael: Any time.

Josslyn: [Sighs]

[Door closes]

Josslyn: Hey, Trina. Uh, it's me. Change of plans. I have the house to myself tonight. I was thinking we could have a few people over.

Carly: I want you to know that it means a lot to me that... we can get divorced and still be civil and... respect each other.

Sonny: That's not hard to do. It's true.

Carly: Yeah. Well, um, since we don't have to work, I think I'm gonna relax and go sit by the pool.

Sonny: Why sit by the pool when you can walk by the ocean? You want to come with me?

Sam: I don't understand. Why did you come to us with this information? Why not go to Sonny?

Julian: You expect me to go to Sonny's house to tell him? Max probably has open orders to shoot me on sight.

Jason: How do we know you're telling the truth, that this isn't some sort of trap?

Julian: Garvey approached me to work with him. I said no. I'm trying to change my life. You can ask your mother. She was there. Look, you can tell Sonny or not. That's entirely up to you. I just thought you should know. Take care of yourself.

Jason: You know how I feel about this man, right?

Sam: Yeah.

Jason: But I still should call Sonny.

Sam: But it's my father we're talking about. We don't know if he's telling the truth or not.

Jason: Yeah, well, what if he is?

Carly: Take a walk on the beautiful Puerto Rican beach? [Sighs] Okay. Why not? Give me a second. I'm gonna get my flip-flops.

Sonny: All right. I'll meet you outside.

Carly: Okay.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Charlotte (to Lulu): Papa's not a policeman. Why is he here?

Quinn (to Nathan & Amy): So no pictures, no publisher.

Spencer (to Laura & Kevin): And what's going to happen to Wyndemere after he goes to prison?

Nelle (to Nina): I think it's best for Charlotte to keep you in her life.

Michael (to Jason): How would you like to join me at ELQ?

Carly (to Sonny): What the Hell was that?
