Sam: Hey.

Jason: Hey.

Sam: What is that?

Jason: This is the shipping receipt that was on Jake's magic box.

Sam: Elizabeth held on to it?

Jason: She did. And I'm hoping that we can find out who sent Jake the Chimera.

Sam: What else is there to know? The Chimera was destroyed, Jason. You're safe. Jake is safe. He's in therapy. You need to let this go. This whole thing needs to be over.

André: Hey, Jake. Are you ready for another session of talking?

Jake: You bet.

Elizabeth: And when you guys are finished, Jake will be meeting Aiden at Lila's kids.

André: Ah. Sounds like fun. So let's get started.

Elizabeth: Go on in. Um, actually, I want to talk to you for just a second.

André: Oh. There a problem?

Elizabeth: I'm worried about Jake's recovery.

André: Well, is it something Jake said?

Elizabeth: No, it's more like what he hasn't said. He's been acting so normal lately, like nothing terrible ever happened. And I can't help but wonder, is this part of Helena's plan? Did she plant something else in my little boy's mind that's just waiting to be triggered?

André: [Sighs]

Nathan: So, what's in the box?

Nina: Oh, there's a really great, uh, children's tailor in London, and I ordered Charlotte a dress months ago, and, um... it just arrived.

Nathan: I'm sure she'll love it.

Nina: I go back and forth whether I should just have it delivered or drop it off myself. I miss her. I miss Charlotte. But she's getting used to living with her mom now, and I-I don't... I'll just get in the way.

Anna: I wonder if I could speak to you concerning Valentin?

Lulu: Come in.

Anna: Thanks.

Lulu: Please, don't tell me that he's out of custody. Dante and I have just started making a home here for Charlotte, and everything has been going so well. She's actually at camp right now like a normal kid, and if anything is about to disrupt that --

Anna: No. No, Valentin is in the Netherlands, in a cell, awaiting trial.

Lulu: Dante was right. Valentin is gone for good.

Anna: Well, he's gone. He's not really forgotten. I mean, that's why I'm here.

Lulu: I don't understand.

Anna: Well, he asked me before he was extradited if -- if he could record a video for Charlotte on my phone. It's his way of saying goodbye. I promised him that I would show it to his daughter.

Spinelli: You know, while we have this moment, may I just say how... sorry I am for your loss? Morgan was a -- was a fine young man.

Sonny: Yeah, he was.

Spinelli: Don't imagine you'll let his death go unavenged.

Sonny: Trust me, Ava is paying for what she did.

[Door closes]

Carly: [Gasps] Spinelli!

Spinelli: Oh! Hey!

Carly: Hi! [Laughs] Oh, my gosh! Max didn't tell me you were here!

Spinelli: Oh, well, I -- unfortunately, I'm on way out. I [Sighs] Would much rather stay and -- and reconnect with dear friends.

[Both laugh]

Spinelli: Eh?

Sonny: Yeah.

Spinelli: Uh, but u-unfortunately, duty calls. [Chuckles]

Carly: Okay.

Spinelli: Duty.

Carly: Bye.

Spinelli: Bye.

Carly: Oh! How about that, huh?

Sonny: Yeah, that's what happens when Brick takes another job.

Carly: Oh. Well, I love brick, but I love Spinelli, too.

Sonny: Yeah, Spinelli's really good and Brick's really good and brick's fast, and I can understand what Brick's saying.

Carly: Why don't you just be grateful that you have two geniuses you can count on?

Sonny: Well, I am very grateful that, uh, you're here with me, and I didn't know you were coming by.

Carly: Yeah, um... [Sighs] I think we need to talk about what happened yesterday.

Nina: I did what you wanted. I had Valentin sign the divorce petition. There it is. [Sighs] They called me and said it was ready. He didn't sign it in front of me. Apparently, he signed it, uh, in front of the WSB agents who took him off to the Netherlands. [Sighs] The desk sergeant called me and told me that it was ready. You could've dropped it off.

Nathan: You okay? Look, I mean... regardless of how I feel about Valentin, I know the guy loved you. Couldn't have been easy for him to sign it or you to ask.

Nina: Yeah. He did love me. We were a family. It was really the happiest time of my life. It's over. I also know there was another part of Valentin. I know that, J. There was a part of him that he was trying to outrun, and at the end of the day, he couldn't do it anymore. And that's why he's going to prison. I know that. [Voice breaking] So now Charlotte's living with her mother, and I'm moving on. I'm moving on without any bitterness or any regrets. Maybe one regret.

Lulu: Dante and I actually spoke with Valentin about arranging a visit with Charlotte so that he could reassure her and help make this transition time a little bit easier. But the WSB moved him sooner than we expected, and as it turns out... the visit wasn't really needed. Charlotte's doing great. I don't want to risk upsetting her by showing her that video.

Anna: I gave him my word, Lulu.

Lulu: No offense -- is there really such thing as, uh, honor between spies? Doesn't lying and double-crossing kind of come with the territory? [Chuckles]

Anna: Even among spies, there is an unspoken code of conduct. It's called being human. And, yes, uh, Valentin did make a terrible mistake, but he is still a father who wanted to say goodbye to his daughter. And isn't that in Charlotte's best interest?

Lulu: I don't know if I see it that way.

Anna: So, let me ask you this. What are you gonna do in the years to come when Charlotte asks you why her father didn't say goodbye to her? What are you gonna say?

André: From my talks with Jake, it seems like Helena had only one goal in mind for him -- to unleash the Chimera. I've seen no signs of another hidden agenda.

Elizabeth: There's just still so much we don't know about this time on Cassadine Island.

André: Well, I will continue to look for answers. In the meantime, my best advice is to just treat Jake like you do Cameron and Aiden. He's just a kid on summer vacation. Don't make him feel like he's under a microscope.

Elizabeth: Okay. And honestly, if I put all my worries aside, he has been a lot happier since the whole Chimera thing ended at the Nurses' Ball.

André: I think you should trust that.

Elizabeth: Okay.

André: You know, Elizabeth, everyone carries around traces of trauma from their past -- not just Jake. The important thing for all of us is that we get up each morning. We brush our teeth. Life continues. The challenge is to face our traumas, not fear them.

Jason: It, uh, would be convenient to just assume that the threat to Jake is over. But we can't do that because we don't know for sure. Helena's dead, but someone was clearly working for her. And I need to find that guy.

Sam: Okay, but why does it have to be you? Why can't it be the WSB or the police or Anna?

Jason: Because...

Sam: Why does it have to be you, Jason?

Jason: ...They put a weapon in my son's hand! I'm not going to let that go, okay? Not when I'm not sure that he can come back or somebody else could come back. I can't take the chance. I'm going to find him. I'm not going to just let it go. What's going on?

Sam: Nothing! I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm tired, Scout has been really fussy, and I don't know, I think I might be coming down with a cold or something. I don't -- I don't feel right.

Jason: Okay, well, then, maybe call one of your sisters or your mom, have them watch the baby and go back to the spa.

Sam: No, no, no, I'm not -- definitely -- [Sighs] I'm not a spa-type of girl. I'm sorry, Jason. I just need some sleep. I'm tired.

Jason: Okay, well... why don't you take a nap and, uh, I'm going to chase down this receipt. Maybe if you feel up to it, we can have lunch at the Metro Court. Does that work?

Sam: [Softly] Yeah, of course.

Jason: Okay.

Sam: [Normal voice] Be careful.

Jason: I'm always careful.

Carly: You know, um... things got, um... a little emotional last night.

Sonny: Well, yeah, I mean, after all those months of grieving for our son, asking questions, never getting any answers, losing hope that we're not going to find any peace, much less finding a way back to each other. It's like the clouds parted when Ava confessed. It's not going to bring Morgan back, but... we have answers and we don't have to -- we -- we don't have to believe that we failed our son.

Carly: No. [Sighs]

Sonny: And after everything that -- that Ava did, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world... if she died.

Carly: That would probably be better, but I don't think that's going to happen. Her condition's been upgraded -- she's stable. My mother gave me an update.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: Ava is stabilized. In fact, she's starting to improve.

Sonny: [Sighs] We-we're going to have to go with the first option, make sure that Ava gets, you know...

Carly: Okay, what if she games the system, okay, just like she did when she killed Connie? What if she never pays?

Sonny: She's going to pay! Trust me! I promise you. One way or another!

Carly: I'm just sick of talking about Ava. I'm sick of hating her.

Sonny: Well, let's --

Carly: I'm sick of waiting for justice that never comes.

Sonny: Forget about her now! I just want to feel... what I did yesterday, you know? I'll be damned if I'm going to let Ava, dead or alive, change that.

Carly: [Sighs] Oh, God. I can't do this!

Amy: Nathan, I'm so glad you're here.

Nathan: Not for long. I got to go to work.

Amy: Before you go, I need a favor.

Nathan: Nope, nope, no. If this has anything to do with the Ask Man Landers thing, the answer is I'm not going to be the face of your advice column.

Amy: I wouldn't dream of putting you in that position again if it weren't a matter of life and death.

Nathan: So, who's dying?

Amy: My book deal. You're the only one who can save it.

Lulu: It's time for you to go, Anna. Please take Valentin's goodbye message with you. The last thing that Charlotte needs is a reminder of the father who put her life at risk.

Anna: I think that's a little judgmental from you -- someone who has Luke as a father, who seemed to put his family in danger all the time.

Lulu: I don't understand. What is this? This -- you're on Valentin's side now?

Anna: No! I'm not defending his actions at all. I'm just saying that when he recorded this video, he was so sincere, he has so much love for that little girl, and I know Charlotte loves him, too.

Lulu: I am not questioning whether Valentin loves Charlotte or if she loves him, but I am not showing that video to my daughter and traumatizing her.

Anna: It's so sweet, though, Lulu.

Lulu: [Sighs]

Anna: He just talks about looking at the same star at night, and I don't know, that wherever he is in the world, he's always going to be thinking about her.

Lulu: And that's all it says? Nothing else?

Anna: He promised to come back for Charlotte.

Lulu: I-is that true? Is there a chance that Valentin could be free?

Jason: I cannot thank you enough.

Spinelli: I'm, of course, gratified to be of service. [Chuckles] Um, what specifically are we -- are we looking for?

Jason: [Sighs] Brother, I don't know even know where to start. Jake received a package, presumably from his cousin, but really, it came from somebody connected to Helena. And I've got this... shipping receipt. I imagine it's fake.

Spinelli: But th-that's an excellent place to start. If you're going to make a fake receipt, you still want it to look legit, so it might have the correct date and time stamp.

Jason: According to Elizabeth, it's -- it's the correct time.

Spinelli: Okay. So we -- we go with 5:30 p.m.

Jason: Great. Now what?

Spinelli: The Jackal goes to work!

[Keyboard clacking]

Elizabeth: Hi.

Sam: Hey. Uh, sorry, come in.

Elizabeth: Oh, thanks. Is, um, is Jason here?

Sam: You know, you just missed him.

Elizabeth: Okay, um, I didn't want to text this, so can you just give him a message from me?

Sam: I'm assuming it's about Jake.

Elizabeth: Yeah, he's with Dr. Maddox right now.

Sam: Okay.

Elizabeth: We're both hopeful that the worst of his emotional damage is behind him.

Sam: That's a relief. I'm sure Jason will think so, too.

Elizabeth: I just wish I felt the physical danger was past us, too.

Sam: What do you mean by that?

Elizabeth: Well, I'm sure Jason told you about the shipping receipt.

Sam: Yeah, he did.

Elizabeth: Okay, so, you know that when the magic kit was delivered to my house, we thought it was from Spencer, which was totally believable, but it was from someone else, someone who --

Sam: No, all I know is that Jason is out there looking for this mystery delivery man, and who knows what kind of trouble that's going to stir up, right?

Elizabeth: Um... yeah, we just want to keep Jake safe, Sam.

Sam: You're not safe. You'll never be safe.

Elizabeth: So, anyway, I-I went back and forth about letting Jake go to Lila's Kids with Aiden, but he really, really wants to go. And I just wanted Jason to have this contact info.

[Sam imagines that Elizabeth is pointing a gun at her.]

Elizabeth: I think it would be good for Jake to run and play with all the other kids, and it wouldn't be fair to keep him in the house all summer.

Sam: Don't trust her. You can't trust her, you know that!

Elizabeth: I hope you don't mind -- I put you down as an additional contact.

Sam: [Sighs] What?

Elizabeth: Jake's forms for camp? I put Jason down as a contact, and I put you down just in case it was an emergency. I hope that's not an imposition. Sam, you seem... really preoccupied. Are you okay?

Spinelli: Okay, we're in luck. Uh, there's a security camera in front of the ATM at the end of the block and a, uh, another camera in front of the convenience store at the other end of the street. Voilŕ!

Jason: You hacked into the security cameras.

Spinelli: That's why I'm here! And now all we have to do is enter the time and date of the delivery, and we are one step closer to catching our man.

Jason: Okay.

André: Okay, Jake. You know how this works. We're just going to talk. If at any point you become uncomfortable, you just tell me. Okay?

Jake: Yeah, I know.

André: Okay. Today, we're going to start with a word-association game. I throw out something or someone and you say the first thing you associate with it.

Jake: Okay.

André: Your dad.

Jake: Motorcycles. My dad likes to ride motorcycles.

André: Okay. Tell me, Jake, what do you think of when you think about your mom?

Jake: Pizza.

André: Really? Why?

Jake: Well... you know, Mom works so hard at the hospital that sometimes she doesn't feel like cooking dinner when we home, so we just order food from Gino's.

André: Okay, Jake. I want you to tell me what you think of when you think about Cassadine Island. You know, I've never been there, but I've heard a lot about it. So, let me tell you what I think. I think about a little boy a lot like you, only younger. A boy all alone on an island except for someone whispering in his ear.

Jake: Maybe.

André: I think that little boy was frightened. He didn't have his mom. He didn't have his big brother to ask for help.

Jake: Something just like that.

André: I think that little boy... didn't have anyone to talk to except an old woman... telling him he was meant to do bad things. It's a lot, Jake, I know, and I'm sorry. But if you trust me -- if you trust me at all -- I need you to do something for me. I need you to look at me. Jake, you are not that little boy alone on that island anymore. Okay? You're home. You're safe. You've got your mom, you've got your dad, you've got your big brother, you've got your little brother, too. Hey, you've got me. You are back where you belong, Jake, where your dad can take you for a ride on his motorcycle and you can eat pizza crusts with your mom. You are not a bad guy, Jake. You are a good guy.

Carly: Josslyn knows what we were doing when she walked in on us.

Sonny: Let me guess -- Josslyn doesn't want us to get back together.

Carly: Can you blame her?

Sonny: Well, no.

Carly: One minute, we're filing for divorce and we're at each other's throat, and the next, we're kissing.

Sonny: I don't blame Josslyn for being confused. Us getting back together right now is quick. But here's the thing... ...after everything that we've been through, I don't know about you, but I-it feels right to me.

Carly: Yes, I feel the same way. I feel exactly the same way, Sonny. But something Josslyn said I can't deny -- she said that we keep repeating the same mistake.

Sonny: I love Josslyn, but she's a teenager. So I-it's a mistake in her eyes.

Carly: Is it?

Sonny: I mean...

Carly: Look how I hurt you with Jax... ...and then look how you retaliated. Do you want to go through that again? Because I know I don't want to go through that again.

Sonny: We made bad choices, but out of grief. We can do better, Carly.

Carly: Can we do better, Sonny? You can hurt me worse than anyone, and -- and I hurt you the exact same way. And I just don't... I don't want to risk doing that to you again. I-I don't want to hurt the people I love.

Sonny: Is that really why you're pulling back? Or are you still... pissed off about what I did to Jax?

Carly: [Sighs]

Anna: Valentin is in the Netherlands awaiting trial, and the WSB feels confident that they can secure a conviction.

Nina: Right, but the thing is, uh, last summer, when he was shipped off to Europe, uh, he had two charges against him -- attempted murder and murder -- and he looked me in the eye, and he said that he would be back. And he was right. They dropped the charges, and he left a free man. So I just was wondering if that could happen again.

Anna: I-I don't know. I can't speculate. I -- like I said, the Bureau seems confident.

Nina: Right, well I know that, um, Charlotte will miss him.

Lulu: Speaking of Ch-Charlotte, I have to go pick her up from day camp.

[Keys jingle]

Nina: I-I brought this for her. I'll just leave it here. You can give it to her.

Lulu: But if you have the time to wait, I think it would mean a lot to Charlotte if you gave it to her yourself. Give her some more continuity.

Anna: But what about the goodbye message from her father? Uh, isn't she entitled to that, too?

Lulu: I don't know.

[Door closes]

Nina: Sorry to put you on the spot in front of Lulu. Sorry about that. Um... it's no secret how she feels about Valentin.

Anna: Or why.

Nina: It's just us right now, so... ...this conversation -- it'll stay private. I just want to know from you what's going to happen to Valentin?

Amy: She told me there's no book deal unless they can meet the man behind Ask Man Landers. They believe that man is you.

Nathan: See, well, there's your problem right there because there is no man behind Ask Man Landers, all right? You got to start taking credit for your own work.

Amy: Absolutely not! We're giving people what they want -- a handsome man who knows how to solve every kind of problem.

Nathan: Okay, well, my wife lives like 3,000 miles away, so clearly, I don't have the answers to all of the problems. And the answer to this one is no.

Amy: I wouldn't ask if it weren't really important.

Nathan: Look, you say that the reason that you're so good at giving advice is 'cause you have all these brothers, right, so why don't you just ask one of them to be your Ask Man Landers guy?

Amy: [Scoffs] Yeah. Thanks for nothing.

Anna: I don't know what's going to happen to Valentin. I-I really don't. [Sighs] Unfortunately, he is living proof of what happens when the WSB wants... to tie something off and to just forget about it, you know. The Chimera should never have existed in the first place, and the fact that it did means there needs to be somebody to blame. I think they're going to use... Valentin as a scapegoat.

Nina: Are you okay with that?

Anna: I'm not. But he did steal it. And he did sell it. So his hands aren't clean.

Nina: Neither are your sister's.

Anna: No. Alex is at least as guilty as Valentin.

Nina: So, how come the WSB isn't scapegoating her?

Anna: Well, they did. They had her in custody. She got away.

Nina: How?

Anna: I don't know.

Nina: You sure?

Anna: You think I helped her escape? No. I hate what she did to Valentin. I-I hate the fact that she intruded herself in your lives, I do. And I think that she should stand trial for her involvement.

Nina: I-it doesn't matter. I'm -- I'm -- I'm divorcing Valentin, so it doesn't matter.

Anna: Oh.

Nina: "Oh."

Anna: Yeah.

Nina: You think I'm a coward... because I'm bailing on him?

Anna: I don't know. I can't tell you what to think or feel. I-I don't know. This whole story... it is not black or white. I mean, this man you knew -- the man you married, Charlotte's father... ...I think he's a good man. I think he's the man he wanted to be... ...before it all went so horribly wrong.

Carly: What you did to Jax was wrong, but if I'm honest and the positions were reversed, and I poured out my heart to you, and I found out you had just slept with Brenda, and I saw a way to have her arrested and then deported --

Sonny: You'd do it.

Carly: In a heartbeat.

Sonny: Okay.

Carly: I'd like to think that I would regret it, but probably not.

Sonny: Thanks for admitting what I already knew -- that we're exactly alike, which is why we belong together.

Carly: [Scoffs] But when things go wrong... we don't balance each other out, you know. We just... we implode, and I don't want to do that again.

Sonny: You still want the divorce?

Sam: Yeah, I-I'm fine, I'm fine. I might be catching a cold or something. Or maybe it's sleep deprivation. I really don't have experience with a newborn. This is -- this is like my first experience.

Elizabeth: I'm going to go back to the hospital to pick up Jake. Do you want me to make a doctor's appointment for you?

Sam: No, that's not necessary. Thank you, though, and o-of course, I'll give Jason the info on Lila's Kids. And [Chuckles] Yes, you can put me down as a contact. I'm actually honored.

Elizabeth: Okay, great. Thank you. Can -- can you have Jason call me if he finds anything about who sent that -- that magic kit?

Sam: Jason's probably out there looking for nothing. The guy's probably long gone by now.

Elizabeth: I hope you're right. Still, just -- just have, uh, just have him call me if he finds anything.

Sam: [Sighs] Oh, God. Okay, Sam. [Sighs] Get a grip. You're okay. Nothing a little sleep won't cure.

Spinelli: Did Elizabeth see the truck?

Jason: No, the guy delivered the package to the door.

Spinelli: Okay, well, then, maybe there's no truck. Maybe the perpetrator drove a car, parked a few houses down, and walked to her front door.

[Keyboard clacking]

Spinelli: Like this car. I-it passes again at 5:35 -- that's -- that's 10 minutes.

Jason: Okay. 10 minutes to park, deliver the package at Elizabeth's door, get back to his car, drive off. Can you enhance that image?

Spinelli: [Laughs] Can Luke Skywalker bull's-eye swamp rats? [Laughs] He -- he can, so...

Jason: Okay, there we go. We've got a uniform, but what about his face?

Spinelli: Yeah, I can't get a clear image of his face, but I might have something just as good. Yep, I believe that is his license plate.

Jason: Hmm. Well...I guess it's a good thing that you've gone legit. Otherwise, you might be forced to hack into the government records, find out who's registered to those plates and who owns that car.

Lulu: We're back from camp. I told Charlotte that she has a special friend waiting for her.

Charlotte: Nina!

Nina: Hey. Hi, pretty.

Charlotte: I missed you.

Nina: I missed you, too! Um, you were at camp?

Charlotte: I learned how to make s'mores today.

Nina: S'mores! Oh, my goodness. Over a campfire? That's great.

Charlotte: Is Papa back? Are you taking me to see him?

Nina: I brought you this. Remember when I was telling you about that dress, and you picked the fabric? [Chuckles] Just rip it open.

[Both chuckle]

[Wrapping paper tearing]

Charlotte: [Chuckles] It's even prettier than I imagined!

Nina: And, you know what, you told them how to make it, so that makes you the designer.

Charlotte: Thank you, Nina.

Nina: You're welcome. Um... [Clears throat] [Whispers] I just wanted to tell you something, okay? [Voice breaking] Um, I know there have been a lot of changes for you... ...and, um, you're here living with your mom and with your new family, and I think that is so cool. And I just wanted you to know that, um, we're not going to see each other that much anymore.

Charlotte: Are you going away, too?

Nina: No, mnh-mnh. You're not going to be living with me anymore. You', with your mom... and your family -- it's a new family -- and I'm really happy for you. But I wanted you to know that no matter what, no matter all these changes, I love you so much. Okay? You know that?

Charlotte: I know.

Nina: Okay.

Charlotte: I love you, Nina.

Nina: I love you.

Charlotte: Remember our song?

Nina: Yes, of course. Okay.

Charlotte: [Sings] All the birds in trees that are singing...

Nina: Singing for you and for me

Nina: [Laughs]

Anna: It's not really about us, is it? It's about her.

[Thunder rumbles]

Sam: Jason? Someone's here. I know it. Who are you?! What do you want?!

[Scout crying]

Sam: Oh, Scout. Okay, it's just you. Okay, Mommy's coming. I'm coming.

Spinelli: Oh, I'm in! I-I got the owner. Uh... car's owned by a rental agency.

Jason: Great. So another dead end.

Spinelli: No, no, not yet. All we have to do is find the driver's license for the customer who rented that car with those particular plates on that particular day, and...

Jason: A-and what? What are you talking about?

Spinelli: We got him.

Elizabeth: Hi. How'd it go?

André: Hey. Jake and I had a good talk today. Don't you think, Jake?

Jake: Yeah, we did.

André: Jake is a sensitive, bright boy, and I'm encouraged we're on the right track.

Elizabeth: [Sighs] That is so great to hear. When would you like to have him back?

André: Oh, you and I can schedule that another time. Right now, I think Jake is ready to get out of this office and head over to Lila's Kids.

Elizabeth: You have anything else you want to say?

Jake: Thanks for all the talks. Um, I've decided I don't want to be a magician anymore.

André: Is that because you want to be something else?

Jake: I don't know, maybe, uh... play baseball or soccer or ride motorcycles.

Elizabeth: [Chuckles] You've got plenty of time to figure that out.

André: Yes.

Lulu: Charlotte? Anna has something for you, too. It's from your papa.

Charlotte: You saw him?

Anna: I did, yes. And he was really sad that he didn't get to see you before he went away. But he asked me... to make a video of him saying goodbye. And I can put this together for you so you can listen to it in private, yeah?

Lulu: Charlotte, sweetie? You okay? Don't you want to listen to your papa's message?

Charlotte: I do, but shouldn't Nina listen to it, too? She didn't get to say goodbye to Papa, either.

Carly: I can keep what's mine. You just keep what's yours. I can sign everything back over to you as soon as Diane draws up the paperwork.

Sonny: Makes sense rationally.

Carly: So, you agree.

Sonny: Well, you know, w-we've been divorced before. It's not gonna really changed anything.

Carly: [Sighs]

Sonny: I mean... I'm part of you, you're part of me.

Carly: We're just not good at being married. We're great at everything else. Maybe we just need to let go.

Sonny: [Groans]

[Door closes]

Charlotte: You listen with this one, and I'll listen with this one.

Nina: [Chuckles] Okay. You sure?

Charlotte: I miss Papa, and I know you do, too.

Nina: Okay. [Chuckles] I think I'm going to have to hold your hand, okay?

Amy: You know what? [Sniffles] Don't worry about this. [Sighs] I'll find another way. [Crying] I'm so very sorry. It's just going to take a little bit longer to find the money. [Scoffs] Don't say that! You can't give up hope. I'm not going to, and you can't, either. I love you.

Sam: Glad I got you settled, Scout... 'cause Mommy needs her nap, too. [Sighs]

Spinelli: Recognize him?

Jason: Could anybody? Look at that.

Spinelli: Oh! I shall endeavor to enhance the image.

[Keyboard clacking]

Jason: [Looking at the NY State Driver's License of Phillipos Costa] Yeah, I recognize him.

Elizabeth: Thank you again. I'm really grateful for everything you've done for us.

Jake: Me, too. Happy mom, happy life.

André: You know, Jake, you might have a bright future as a motorcycle-riding, baseball-playing, soccer-playing psychiatrist. Happy mom? Yeah.

Jake: Well, maybe. Um, I'll have to think it over.

Elizabeth: Okay, for now, let's just try to get you to camp. Come on. Bye.

André: Bye.

Jake: Bye.

[Phillipos Costa follows Elizabeth & Jake]

On the next "General Hospital" --

Griffin (to Sam): I think I might know what's wrong with you.

Olivia (to Julian): Can't you do the selfless thing and just stay out of his life for good?

Nathan (to Amy): Something I can help with?

Jason (to Spinelli): If he was in town for Jake's birthday...what if he's still here?

Jake (to Costa): Excuse me.
