Jordan: Wow, Aunt Stella... I had put her like, you know, a little room way in the back of my mind. You know, talk about compartmentalizing, and then here she is. Bam! Front and center. Blaring the laundry of my life so loudly that I can't even ignore this.

Curtis: Uh, Jordan... don't tell me you let my auntie get to you? Are you thinking about backing out of this? From us?

Jordan: Don't put words in my mouth.

Curtis: Well then, say something, baby. Don't just turn away from me.

Jordan: I'm not. I'm not... [Sighs]

Curtis: Well, I feel like there's a "but" coming.

Jordan: Maybe Stella has a point. Baby, I don't want to turn away from you, okay? I don't. I just... maybe you should turn away from me.

Stella: Uh, excuse me, what's good here?

TJ: Uh, everything, but we're known for our BLTs. Best in New York.

Stella: They haven't tasted mine. Best in Baltimore.

[Both laugh]

Stella: Hi, baby!

TJ: Aunt Stella!

Stella: Oh! [Exhales deeply]

Spencer: I suggest a pick-me-up! Kelly's cookies!

Laura: Stop. After the way you behaved today, I am not inclined to give you a treat.

Spencer: Well, Cameron brought my wrath upon himself by sullying Emma's honor. I had to defend her good name.

Laura: Really?

Spencer: Mm-hmm.

Laura: And what about Hayden? Did she deserve that kind of disrespect?

Spencer: Well, that was regrettable. I'll write her a note of apology first thing in the morning.

Laura: I think you will hand her a note of apology in person after you've washed her car.

Spencer: Well, I can't drive, so how will I get her car to the car wash?

Laura: Ha! Well, that's because you will be the one doing the washing.

Spencer: You mean chores?

Laura: Yep.

Spencer: Oh-ho-ho, I don't do chores.

Laura: Oh-ho-ho, you do now.

Scott: Hiya, Laura. Hi. Spencer, how you doing? Nice haircut.

Spencer: Thank you.

Laura: So how are you?

Scott: I'm okay. I'm okay, after a couple of bad days.

Laura: Um, you know what? It's okay. You can go on in and pick something out for yourself.

Spencer: Thanks. I have my own money.

Laura: Oh. That right there is part of the problem. So what's going on?

Scott: Have you, uh, heard about Ava?

Laura: I heard that you were involved in it. Is that true? Did you really help Ava to hide what she did to Morgan?

Kiki: I hate what you did to Morgan. And I know I told you that if I found out you played any part in his death, that you'd lose me forever. But I don't want to lose you. I still love you, mom. So please come back, okay? You always told me I could do anything I set my mind to. You can do that, too. I need you to make up your mind... to live. Mom?

Carly: It was just all grief, Sonny. And we were so helpless. I mean, we had so many questions, and we didn't have answers. And we didn't know how to deal with the pain, and we didn't know how to accept the loss. And I just think that if Ava dies, then maybe we'll have some kind of justice for Morgan. I mean, I don't know if we'll ever have comfort, but maybe we'll have just a little bit of peace.

Sonny: Peace for our son and peace for us?

Carly: Maybe we can really heal.

[Door opens, closes]

TJ: Aunt Stella! When did you get here? How'd you know I was here?

Stella: I didn't! I just got in town today. Checked into a nice hotel, but their restaurant prices were too rich for my blood, so I came here and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw you hard at work!

TJ: I just can't believe you're here. Does Mom know? Uncle Curtis?

Stella: Mm-hmm.

TJ: Okay.

Stella: Look at you! All grown up! [Laughs] Looking at you on your uncle's phone don't do you justice. But you look tired, baby. You have to pace yourself. You got to make time for sleep between work and study. As a doctor, you should know that.

TJ: Oh, hold on. I'm not even in med school.

Stella: Yet. Just a matter of time. You'll get there. I know you will. Look at you. You've got a strong work ethic, and you don't give up.

TJ: Is that code word for stubborn?

Stella: Oh, no, no. There's a big difference between being stubborn and being focused and driven. Your father had drive. And he was very focused. Your Uncle Curtis, on the other hand, is stubborn to a fault. He's always been his own worst enemy. And I'm sad to say that if he's ever been focused on anything, it's himself.

Curtis: Baby, we were doing fine. We had finally gotten to a place where we could just shut off the noise and explore us. We're there now. I don't want to go backwards just because my auntie isn't in the same place that we are.

Jordan: Curtis, I don't think that she ever will be.

Curtis: I don't know if she'll get there or not. But we are. I am keenly aware of the challenges that I face by being with you. And I don't care... because look where I am now... here with you, because I want to be.

Jordan: Are you really gonna stand there and tell me that you don't care what she thinks? You don't care what she feels? She's in pain. Because of me.

Curtis: I do care. I love my auntie. But I got to live my life the way I see fit. And I see you in it.

Jordan: Even if that means that it comes down to her or me?

Scott: Laura, I mean, that's crazy talk. Why would I cover up a crime? I mean, that-that's just dumb.

Laura: Well, I would hope that you wouldn't. But, you know, come on. I've known you a long time. I know that you're capable of exhibiting, uh, bad --

Scott: Okay, now hang on a second here, all right? Now, let's say I did help Ava. I'm not saying I did. But, if I did, I mean, it's a professional obligation.

Laura: Because she's your client.

Scott: Attorney-client privilege.

Laura: Yeah, that doesn't excuse you from committing a crime, Scotty.

Scott: Well, I mean, if I was protecting her from the law, maybe I was protecting her from Sonny Corinthos!

Laura: What?! Ava set that fire. And now, look, she's in a burn unit fighting for her life. She would have been better off being arrested.

Scott: [Sighs] You're right. That haunts me every minute of the day.

Kiki: Mom!

Ava: Kiki...

Kiki: Shh! Shh! Shh! Don't talk, okay? You went into cardiac arrest, but you're okay. You woke up. Oh, my god. Thank god you came back.

Ava: We need to talk, okay?

Kiki: Yeah. Yeah, we're gonna talk. I just -- I have to go get the doctor. I have to tell them what's happening.

Ava: No. Kiki.

Kiki: No. Please, don't push yourself. I'm gonna be right back. I'm gonna be right back.

[Door opens, closes]

Kiki: Where's the doctor?

Dillon: Why? Did something happen?

Kiki: My mom, she's -- she's awake! My mom is conscious. She's talking.

Dillon: Wait. You said that she's talking now?

Kiki: Yeah, yeah. She was -- she was trying to tell me something, but I was too focused on getting the doctor. I wasn't listening. I think I have to back in.

Dillon: Whoa, no, Kiki. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let the doctor look after her for a minute.

Kiki: What if she crashes again?

Dillon: You brought her back, Kiki. You brought her back.

Sonny: Hi.

Carly: I thought you were going to the movies with Trina.

Josslyn: I was. It's over.

Carly: How was it?

Josslyn: Fine. What's he doing here?

Carly: Josslyn. We were talking. Maybe, um...

Sonny: Yeah, uh, maybe I should just -- we'll pick this up some other time.

Carly: Okay.

Sonny: It's good to see you again, Joss. All right, I'm gonna -- I'll go ahead and see myself out.

Carly: Okay. So, what was the movie about?

[Door opens]

Josslyn: [Sighs and stomps upstairs]

Curtis: Are you asking me to choose between you and my auntie?

Jordan: No! Of course not. I don't want that to happen. No, but, look, if we keep this up, don't you think that, eventually, she's gonna present you with that option?

Curtis: It may not have to come to that...

Jordan: Were we listening to the same conversation, or...?

Curtis: I heard everything she said, but I know my auntie, okay? She may not be accepting of you or us, but she would never push me out, okay? We've been through way too much to lose each other now.

Jordan: Curtis, I don't know. I think being with me could be the last straw.

Curtis: Okay, well, you know what? Then, we'll just -- we'll go about it carefully, okay? But together. If we can be patient and respectful to my auntie's feelings, then maybe, uh, maybe, just maybe, she can come around. Eventually.

Jordan: I really hope so. Because you and I both have a secret and lie about Thomas, and one that we're still keeping on that will literally break Aunt Stella's heart. If she finds out that TJ is not Tommy's son...

Curtis: Oh. Yeah. No. That can't happen.

Jordan: We can't keep that lie up. She's going to have to eventually be told.

Curtis: Okay, we'll tell her. Just not now. Okay? Trust me, Aunt Stella has been through too much right now. So we'll tell her, but we'll tell her when the time is right.

TJ: So you say my mom and Uncle Curtis know you're in town, huh?

Stella: Mm-hmm.

TJ: You, uh, here for his birthday, or...?

Stella: Don't ever play poker. You haven't got the face for it. Quit fishing and just come on out and ask me what you want to know.

TJ: Do you know about him and my mom?

Stella: We had a conversation about it.

TJ: Yeah? And you're okay with everything?

Stella: We're still standing. That's all you need to concern yourself with. Your number one priority is getting those grades and graduating at the top of your class.

TJ: Other than that, no pressure, right?

Stella: [Laughs] You will be fine. I have great faith in you. And I am so happy to see you. I've missed you so much.

TJ: Really?

Stella: Of course. Why would you say that?

TJ: I mean, it's just been so long since we've seen each other, I just wondered if, you know, things changed. Maybe you stopped caring or...

Stella: Why on earth would I stop caring about my sister's one and only grandson?

Carly: Are we gonna talk about what you walked in on?

Josslyn: I'm tired, and I just want to go to bed.

Carly: Okay. Josslyn, you know we need to talk about this.

Josslyn: Fine, Mom, let's talk. We'll start with "You're welcome."

Carly: What am I thanking you for?

Josslyn: For saving you from Sonny, and most of all, yourself.

Laura: If you did help Ava to cover up what she did to Morgan, and you feel guilty about it, then I'm relieved. Because that would mean that the Scotty that I once loved is still in there somewhere.

Scott: Still here.

Spencer: Sadly, they were out of peanut butter. But I got the last five chocolate chip.

Laura: Five?! Oh, my goodness. You're not planning on eating all of those tonight, are you?

Spencer: Grandmother, don't be crazy. I'm gonna save one for tomorrow.

Laura: Oh, fine, yeah.

Spencer: Mm-hmm.

Laura: All right. We've got one more stop to make. So, uh, we should get going. Come on.

Spencer: All right.

Laura: All right. Bye.

Scott: Hey, uh, Laura. Am I still worth rooting for?

Laura: [Sighs] I wish you would make it easier.

Kiki: Hey, I'm okay. Really.

Dillon: You sure?

Kiki: Yes. Yes. No more falling apart. My mom needs me.

Dillon: And you will step up for her. Because you are a fighter just like Ava. She's been to hell and back, and she came through.

Kiki: Yeah. So far.

Dillon: [Sighs]

Kiki: She still has plenty more hell to come.

Dr. Prescott: Ms. Jerome, you're doing quite well, but your condition is still quite serious. You went into cardiac arrest as a result of your extensive burns.

Ava: Why?

Dr. Prescott: W-why what?

Ava: [Sniffles] Why -- why didn't you let me die?

Dr. Prescott: Ms. Jerome, our job is to keep you alive. You didn't have a DNR order, so that's what we did.

Ava: [Whimpers]

Dr. Prescott: Are you saying you want a DNR? That in the event your heart stops again, you want us to let you die?

Dillon: Ava's got a big fight ahead of her. But she's got you. You've got me. And, hopefully, her brother will help us out. We'll get her through this.

Kiki: Yeah. And then what? She's gonna go through hell to recuperate only to face criminal charges. Sonny and Carly are gonna want justice for Morgan, and, honestly, they have every right. Excuse me. How is she? Can I go see her?

Dr. Prescott: Your mother's holding her own. She's conscious, and, uh, her vitals are good.

Kiki: Great, so, does that mean she's out of danger for another cardiac episode?

Dr. Prescott: I can't say that. She's still at risk for infection. But on the positive side, since she's stable, we can begin treatment on her wounds.

Kiki: Which will be...?

Dr. Prescott: Hydrotherapy and debridement.

Kiki: Oh. I studied debridement.

Dillon: What does that mean?

Dr. Prescott: Removing the dead tissue and preparing to replace it with grafts.

Kiki: It's incredibly painful.

Dr. Prescott: The team will come up with a plan of action, and we'll definitely keep you abreast. And yes, you can go in. Your mother would like to see you.

Kiki: Thank you. Thank you for everything.

Dr. Prescott: You're so welcome.

Dillon: [Sighs] Okay, I will, uh, I'll wait right here.

Kiki: Um, no. You go home and rest, okay? I know you're exhausted. I saw you napping when I came out. Just go recharge, all right? You're not gonna do me any good supporting me if you're falling over yourself. Okay?

Dillon: If anything happens...

Kiki: I'm gonna call you first thing. I promise. Thank you for being here. I honestly don't know what I would've done.

Dillon: Where else would I be? I will be thinking of you guys. And I'll see you first thing in the morning, okay?

Kiki: Okay.

Stella: Honey, where would you get the idea that I didn't want to see you?

TJ: I just thought, you know, it's been such a long time, I figured after what my mom told me about her and my father...

Stella: About Thomas? What did she say?

TJ: Um... I'm sorry. You know what? Nothing.

Stella: No, no, no. No, no. It's not nothing. Has your mother told you something about her and your daddy that makes you think I didn't want to see you?

Jordan: [Laughs]

Curtis: I could use it, 'cause after today, I'm... hey, what's up, T?

Jordan: Hey, baby.

Curtis: Aunt Stella, I thought you were, um, going to a hotel.

Stella: I did. I decided against paying $20 for a hamburger, so I came here. I found TJ and was very happy until he told me his mother's been feeding him lies about me and his father.

TJ: Guys, I'm sorry. I think, uh, Aunt Stella misunderstood. I didn't say anything.

Jordan: It's okay, honey. It's okay. We're all a little sensitive right now.

Stella: Baby, you don't have to protect me or your mama. And I didn't misunderstand anything. It sounds to me like you were led to believe that I chose to stay away from you. Now, where did he get that notion from? Did you put that in his head?

Carly: I don't need saving from anyone, least of all myself.

Josslyn: Mom, it's pretty obvious what would have happened here if I hadn't come in when I did.

Carly: Okay, you know what? Things aren't always what they seem, Josslyn.

Josslyn: Seriously? You're trying to tell me you were not kissing Sonny?

Carly: Okay, I don't have to explain myself to you at all. And you know what? Sonny and I are still married. It's not like we were committing a crime.

Josslyn: Well, it should be! Sonny's the worst thing that ever happened to you!

[Telephone rings]

Sonny: Yeah, Max? Yeah. Send her up. [Sighs]

Laura: Hi.

Sonny: Hi.

Laura: Sorry for the unannounced visit.

Sonny: No, it's all right. What's going on?

Laura: Oh, I just have somebody who couldn't wait to see you.

Spencer: Surprise!

Sonny: Oh, come here, you!

Laura: [Laughs]

Curtis: Mm, okay. [Exhales deeply] Why don't we all take a deep breath and, um, hit rewind?

Stella: I don't need to breathe. I just need an explanation! Did you tell TJ that I turned my back on him?

Jordan: Stella, come -- I did what I felt was best at the time. It was a matter of safety for everyone. It was the wrong decision.

Stella: [Scoffs]

Jordan: And I surely didn't mean for it to imply that you don't love or care for TJ. If keeping him away from your family suggested that in any way, I am so sorry.

Curtis: I mean, we still kept in touch when Jordan returned home from the DEA. It ain't like you lost contact all together.

Stella: Special occasion phone calls or pictures of him from your phone, video calls I could hardly see, that's all I had, Curtis! And while I thank God that I did have that much, it was in no way enough! TJ, we were so close when you were little. I missed out on everything!

Jordan: You know, if I could do it all over again, I would do things so differently.

Stella: Hmm.

Jordan: Starting with, I wouldn't have taken that damn job with the DEA. I would've been home with my son, instead. But I can't change the past. Any of it. All I can do is take responsibility for my mistakes and do my best to make sure that doesn't happen again. I want to make things better for all of us going forward. I want to. I sure hope you give me the chance.

Sonny: I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I will make an exception with Kelly's cookie. Let's see...

Spencer: How do you not like sweets?

Laura: I know, right?

Spencer: That's just crazy!

Sonny: Well, it is pretty good, actually. Um, as you get older, you realize that everybody has different tastes. Doesn't make it good or bad. And the more tolerant you are, the more you'll enjoy life and the world around you.

Laura: I hope you're paying attention, because your Uncle Sonny is right.

Spencer: I would never doubt his wisdom.

Sonny: Of course not. So, how long are you here for? How long do you got him?

Laura: Uh, well --

Spencer: She's got me for life!

Sonny: [Laughs]

Spencer: I'm home for good.

Sonny: Yeah, we're kind of working out the details on that.

Sonny: Well, I hope you can spare him for a few days, 'cause I want to take you to the old neighborhood before it gets trendy like everything else in Brooklyn these days.

Spencer: An anthropological excursion. Can Joss come along, too?

Sonny: Well, we could ask her, but I'm pretty sure she has other plans for the summer.

Carly: Josslyn, you're entitled to your opinion, but you are not an expert on my relationship with Sonny. Look, I know it's complicated, baby, but I can tell you that the good does outweigh the bad.

Josslyn: Who are you trying to convince? Me or yourself?

Carly: I'm not gonna stand here and let my daughter judge me, okay?

Josslyn: Right! I just have to live with you. Sonny hurts you, or lies to you, or gets found out about something he's done. You fight about it, he apologizes until you accept it, then you move on until it happens again. It's a cycle.

Carly: Wow. Josslyn, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I have dragged you through this so many times, okay? I am. Yeah, Sonny and I have a tumultuous relationship. We do. But we really love each other. And we always wanted to do right by you kids.

Josslyn: Oh, I know. This intense "connection" you guys have... you keep going back because you guys "understand" each other better than anybody else. But the truth is, Mom, deep down, the only real reason you go back to Sonny is because you don't believe you deserve better. And you do, Mom! You deserve so much more. This is your chance to find it. But only if you free yourself from Sonny for good.

Kiki: Hi, Mom. I'm back.

Ava: Kiki...

Kiki: I talked to the doctor. You're doing really well.

Ava: [Whimpers]

Kiki: Oh. Are you in pain? Excuse me, Nurse, is there something we can do for the pain?

Nurse: Don't worry, we're paying close attention to her pain management.

Kiki: Wait, wait. Why -- why is there a DNR on her chart?

Ava: I want it. No extraordinary measures, Kiki. You have to let me go.

Curtis: Okay, Auntie, time out. Let's go talk. Let's go talk.

Stella: I'm not 5! I don't need to go to a corner and think about anything!

Curtis: Okay, look, this is where TJ works, okay? Can we take it down a notch? And, please, please, try to go easy on Jordan and TJ.

Stella: I'll give TJ a break. But not her.

Curtis: Auntie, she admitted her mistakes. Now, what more could you ask from her?

Stella: If she thinks she can get over with a tearful apology after robbing me of a relationship with that boy, she better think again! Thomas is gone, but his son is still here! And I intend to remain a part of that boy's life, whether Jordan likes it or not!

TJ: Mom, she doesn't know about Shawn. I nearly told her by accident.

Jordan: I know, and I'm sorry. I am s-- I'm sorry for everything. I really messed up, and I made some horrible choices by keeping you away from your family. And Curtis -- Curtis and Stella, they are still your family as far as they're concerned. I just hope that you will be kind to Stella and help me so that we can break it to her gently.

TJ: I love her, Mom. And I've missed her so much. I hate to keep lying to her about who I am.

Jordan: And I'm not asking you to do that. I just -- we just need some time so that we can just ease her into the truth.

TJ: [Scoffs] Things do seem a little tense right now. Especially between the two of you.

Jordan: And don't even worry about that. Don't worry about me. I can -- you know I can handle the heat. I just... just think about Stella's feelings right now. That's all I'm gonna ask you to do, okay? Baby, I'm with you no matter what you decide.

Spencer: That was the best sandwich I have ever had in my entire lifetime.

Sonny: Can I tell you something? That is nothing compared to the deli in Bensonhurst.

Spencer: I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go right now!

Laura: Yeah, you know what? I'm ready to go come to bed. Thank you very much for the sandwich. You know what? I think we ate dinner in reverse tonight, didn't we?

Spencer: Just another reason why I love being home.

Laura: Oh. Okay, sweetie, take your plate into the kitchen for me, and your milk glass. Wash your hands up, too, 'cause we're gonna head out. Okay.

Spencer: More chores.

Laura: It looks good on you, young man!

Spencer: Oh, thanks.

Laura: It does. Sassy. [Laughing] He's so sassy.

Sonny: Yeah, but he seems pretty good. I mean, he's giving you a hard time, though, you know, as far as, uh, wanting to stay here and stuff.

Laura: You noticed that, huh?

Sonny: Yeah. Hard sell.

Laura: Yeah, exactly. Um, I'm not exactly sure what's going on with him, but, like, all of a sudden, it's really important for him to be here in Port Charles and near the family and everything. I don't know if it's just that he's missing his father, or... you know, he's not easy to read. He doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve.

Sonny: Well, I meant what I said. Look, if he wants to come around here at any time, I'd be happy to see him.

Laura: Thank you. He's a handful, though. And you don't have Carly for backup.

Sonny: Well, she's not here at the moment, but things can change when you least expect it.

Carly: Hey. I understand that this is complicated. I do. Things have never been black and white between me and Sonny. And yes, he's hurt me, but I've hurt him, too.

Josslyn: So you give pain as good as you get. Not exactly the sign of a healthy relationship, Mom.

Carly: It's the one I've got.

Josslyn: Oh, my God. You're taking him back.

Carly: No! I don't know, Josslyn. I have no idea what's --

Josslyn: Mom! You're standing here defending your crappy relationship! Of course, you're taking him back!

Carly: Okay, you know what? It's really easy for you to have all these opinions when you don't have a clue about life and love. I mean, there's so much to my relationship with Sonny. So much that you wouldn't even understand.

Josslyn: I understand enough not to want one like it. Or is that what you want for me? A relationship like yours and Sonny's? You know, if he's good enough for you, a guy like him must be good enough for me, right? I didn't think so. Mom, it's sad that you want so much more for me, but you're willing to take so much less for yourself.

Kiki: No, Mom. You can't do this. Please, just let me tear it up.

Ava: It's my choice.

Kiki: To die?

Ava: If it comes to that, yeah.

Kiki: What about me? What about Avery?

Ava: [Whimpers] Maybe you'd be better off. Kiki, I can't go through that again. Please!

[Monitor beeping]

Kiki: Okay.

Ava: Good. There are arrangements to make, okay? In case...

Kiki: No. No. No. The doctors are coming up with a treatment plan. You're gonna be fine.

Ava: If I'm not...

Kiki: No. You will.

Ava: Kiki, there are things that I need to say to you.

Kiki: Okay, that's fine, but just not now, okay?

Ava: Kiki.

Kiki: You just have to focus on getting better.

Ava: Please. Listen to me. I'm so sorry for what I did to you... I'm so sorry for what I did to Morgan.

[Elevator bell dings]

Scott: Oh, hey, Dillon. Dillon, what -- what -- what's going on with Ava?

Dillon: She has regained consciousness.

Scott: Oh, that's great. So, what's the prognosis?

Dillon: She's stable. The doctors are talking about moving forward with treatment.

Scott: Good. She's tough. She's a fighter. What about visitors? Um, can I get in there? Have you been in there?

Dillon: No, just from the window. I think they're sticking to family for right now.

Scott: Just family, huh?

Dillon: I mean, Kiki's in there. And the medical staff, obviously.

Scott: What about the cops?

Dillon: What about the cops?

Scott: Well, I'm her lawyer. She's on goofballs right now. And I don't want her to say anything while she's delirious that could incriminate her or other people.

Dillon: Yeah, right. Her lowlife lawyer.

Scott: Wait a minute. Look -- oh!

TJ: All right, guys. My shift is over. You guys good to do this? Can we celebrate Curtis' birthday without killing each other?

Jordan: Oh, I certainly hope so.

Curtis: Right. Death on my birthday? Although it wounds poetic, not exactly what I had planned.

Stella: I won't be blamed for any drama. As long as that cake is good.

TJ: Well, it's almost as good as the company, but nowhere near as good as your cooking. Now, by any chance, do you think you could make me one of those pineapple coconut cakes while you're here?

Curtis: Ooh, yeah, yeah. What he said.

TJ: How long are you here for?

Stella: I was thinking about that. At first, I was only planning on staying a few days, but since we have so much catching up to do, I think I'll extend my stay. As of now, it's open-ended.

Scott: What the hell was that for?

Dillon: Ava is fighting for her life, and you come around here to make sure that she doesn't implicate you in a cover-up?

Scott: No, no, no.

Dillon: Now, don't -- don't make me hit you again, okay? The last thing that this family needs is for you to come around here and bother them with your agenda. Kiki is barely hanging on as it is.

Scott: Listen, I got nothing but sympathy here. But as her lawyer --

Dillon: Get the hell out of here before I kick your ass out myself.

Scott: [Sighs]

Dillon: I don't know how you live with yourself.

Scott: Neither do I. [Sighs]

Kiki: Mom, you should probably get some rest, okay?

Ava: I never wanted to hurt Morgan. I was trying to protect you, but I was wrong. I should have left you both alone. He'd be alive if I had. I'm so sorry, my girl.

Kiki: Mom, please stop, okay? I can't. I can't deal with this right now, okay? Please. Can we please just do this later? I need you to get better. You have to focus on getting better right now.

Laura: I thought you and Carly were going ahead with the divorce.

Sonny: Yeah, that was the plan, but plans change.

Laura: [Laughs] Well, I'm glad to hear it. I was hoping that you two would be able to work things out.

Sonny: Well, it's not a done deal by any means. But because of recent developments, things are looking up for us.

Laura: Good.

Carly: I want you to sit with me. Please, sit with me. I used to always think that I would be happy if I had enough -- you know, if I had enough money, and enough success, and enough love. It could all be quantified, and then once I hit that magic number, my life would be perfect. But life is just life, you know? It is. And I realized that there's always gonna be someone out there that has more. And there's always gonna be someone out there that has less. And the secret is to love the life you have and the people you've been blessed with.

Josslyn: Are you seriously saying to me that Sonny's a blessing?

Carly: Not always. But neither am I. But yeah, there has been times in my life -- many times -- where Sonny has been a blessing.

Josslyn: But, Mom, don't you see what you're doing? You're talking yourself into forgiving him!

Carly: There is as much strength in forgiveness as there is in walking away. Walking away has always been my go-to, Josslyn. And now I see it's not my only option.

Josslyn: Except when you have to forgive over and over again. Then it's not strength, Mom. It's hopelessness. Like this conversation. You know what, Mom? Go ahead and get back together with Sonny. It's your life. And you don't have to pretend like you need my permission. I know you're just gonna do what you want, anyway. You always do.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Carly (to Sonny): I think we need to talk about what happened yesterday.

Nina (to Anna): Is there a chance that Valentin can be free?

Amy (to Nathan): Before you go, I need a favor.

André (to Jake): If you trust me at all, I need you to do something for me.

Sam (to Jason): You need to let this go. This whole thing needs to be over.
