Carly: No! No way, okay?

Bobbie: Oh, honey, hear me out.

Carly: You can save your breath. There is no way I'm going to hire Scott Baldwin to represent me.

Bobbie: I thought you said you were desperate.

Carly: I'm not that desperate. If I hire Scott Baldwin, I'm going to go from suing for divorce to death row, like that.

Bobbie: Oh, come on. Scott may be a blowhard, but he does know his way around the courtroom.

Carly: Mom, I need the best. I'm going up against Diane.

Bobbie: Well, sounds to me like the best was overrated.

Carly: Yeah, my lawyer was great until she realized she had a so-called "prior relationship" with Sonny.

Martina: Thanks for allowing me to come up. I was worried I'd be turned away at the gate.

Sonny: You don't have to worry about that 'cause Max knows that we're on good terms.

Martina: Are we?

Sonny: Ah, well, I mean...I guess. You haven't told me what brings you here.

Martina: I, uh -- I came to say goodbye.

Michael: Hey, Dr. Munro, how's Nelle?

Griffin: She is stable. That's all I can tell you right now. It was a good thing you were here to notify us about her only having one kidney. I'm sending her off for tests.

Dante: Hello! I'm home!

Rocco: Dad! Charlotte's here!

Dante: Hey. I can see that, buddy. What's going on? Hey, Charlotte.

Lulu: You can say "Hi." It's all right.

Charlotte: Hi, Dante.

Lulu: You hungry? I saved you a plate.

Dante: No, I'm good. I'll get something in a little bit.

Rocco: Come on! We're playing memory!

Dante: You are? I love that game. But I think you'll kick my butt, because I can't even seem to keep my own schedule straight.

Lulu: Well, you know how it is -- life is filled with happy, unexpected surprises.

Nina: You're right, Anna won't come between us, because there is no "us."

Valentin: You know better. I promised the first time they took me away in handcuffs that I'd be back to see your pretty face. And I was. I convinced you to give me another chance, and I can do it again.

Nina: Until Anna comes around...again.

Valentin: She won't.

Anna: I'm Anna. I'm not sick. I'm being held here against my will, okay, and you really need to help me.

Dr. Lancaster: What's going on here? I heard voices. Did Alex regain consciousness?

Sister Crane: Doctor, you heard one voice -- mine. I was trying to get Alex to relax. Her heart rate was ticking up. She's probably responding to all this fuss. I know you have other patients. Alex isn't going anywhere.

Dr. Lancaster: Well, if she becomes agitated or regains consciousness, you're to find me immediately.

Sister Crane: Of course, Doctor. I always follow your instructions to the letter. But today, not so much. He's gone. Tell me what's going on. I can have Dr. Lancaster back in a moment's notice.

Nina: I hope you mean it when you say you're finished with Anna.

Valentin: I do.

Nina: Because she's a lying bitch who has you tied up in knots and preyed on your disabilities, and that kills me. But it doesn't change anything. It doesn't change what you did. It doesn't change all the lies that you told to me.

Valentin: I hate myself for hurting you, for jeopardizing everything that we care about. But I'm not going to leave it like this. I can't not fix this. I will get you to trust me again.

Nina: I... I can't.

Valentin: And for what it's worth, I didn't intend to fall in love with you. I certainly didn't intend to get married to you. I don't know, maybe it all came so easy. Maybe after a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, always watching the game, I was afraid to embrace it, because I was just afraid it was going to get taken away.

Nina: It doesn't matter anymore.

Valentin: It does. It does if it's the reason that you insist on letting me go. Because if you're worried that Charlotte and I are going to leave, we're not. I love you. Charlotte loves you, and I will spend my life convincing you to come back to us.

Nina: Don't worry about me. Worry about Charlotte.

Dante: What're you doing? What're you doing? Oh, man! Missed again. What? Are you kidding me right now? They're kicking my butt! Nice work. Nice work.

Rocco: It's hard getting old, Dad.

Dante: Oh, is it?

Lulu: Oh, okay. It's time for bed. It's still a school night. Go upstairs and brush your teeth. I'll be right up.

Dante: We got a toothbrush for Charlotte?

Lulu: Are you kidding me? I have everything, including a small wardrobe, waiting for her.

Dante: Okay, so, uh, how did we get the after-school visit and the sleepover? Valentin feeling especially generous today or what?

Lulu: I'm not sure that Valentin knows that she's here.

Dante: What?

Lulu: Nelle went AWOL. She didn't pick her up after school.

Dante: That's weird.

Lulu: They couldn't reach Valentin, so the school contacted me -- her mother.

Dante: Well, I'm happy for you, for us, but last we talked to Nina, she was pretty vocal about us not having extra time with Charlotte, right?

Lulu: They couldn't reach Nina either. Honestly, I don't know if she's going to be in the picture much longer. We ran into her on the way home. I got the distinct impression that their marriage is over.

Dante: Well, what do you know.

Michael: Hey, Dr. Munro. Hey, can you tell me anything more about Nelle. Is there an issue with her kidney?

Griffin: Look, I don't have all the facts yet. She's still undergoing tests. When I know more, I will inform Nelle. She can tell you herself, okay?

Michael: Okay.

André: I've already left multiple voice messages for the chief pharmacist. Yes, I understand there's a family emergency, but Dr. Quartermaine and I were expecting a call back immediately. [Sighs] Any idea when he'll return? No, thank you. I need to speak to him personally. My patient's family is depending on his cooperation on this matter. [Bangs phone down]

Sonny: So, you're going back to LA, huh? When?

Martina: Tomorrow.

Sonny: Oh, you don't waste any time, do you?

Martina: Well, mission not accomplished. Not much reason to stick around.

Sonny: Well, I suppose not. You want some -- can I get you some wine?

Martina: [Scoffs] No, but I'll have a scotch neat, providing it's single malt.

Sonny: Is there any other? So... happy landings. [Groans]

Martina: [Chuckles] Yeah, I hope so. It's been a bumpy ride so far.

Sonny: So, you worried about going back?

Martina: No, I just hate leaving it like this.

Sonny: Why? 'Cause you're going to miss my company? [Laughs]

Martina: I'm going to miss finishing what I started.

Sonny: Ohh!

Martina: Uh-huh.

Sonny: Competitive. But you were going up against Diane, Counselor.

Martina: Oh. With a handful of aces I didn't get to play. I had you, Sonny. [Laughs] The initial report my investigators gave me just scratched the surface of your, uh, colorful history. You know, you're the reason they coined the term "target-rich environment."

Sonny: Many have tried.

Martina: Mm, but they aren't me. I can make the old sound new and the new sound bad.

Sonny: All right, well, to good luck, right?

Martina: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: Having you off the case.

Martina: Ohh. And Carly never being the wiser.

Carly: Why would Martina tell Sonny she was resigning before she tells me?

Bobbie: Honey, we've been through this already. Can't you let it go?

Carly: No, I can't let it go, Mom! I can't because it's bull. Martina's research on Sonny and his holdings -- that was done ahead of time. So why didn't she realize then her firm had done work for one of Sonny's businesses? I tell you why, Mom, because this so-called "conflict" is a cover-up.

Bobbie: How do you know?

Carly: How do I know?

Bobbie: Sonny's business network is very complicated, to say the least.

Carly: When I walked into the restaurant, they were having a coffee and holding hands. That's more than business.

Bobbie: Is this really the best use of your time? You're chasing after your own conspiracy theories.

Carly: I'm fighting for my divorce. That's it.

Bobbie: And you don't have a divorce lawyer.

Carly: I know.

Bobbie: So use your time to find one.

Carly: I have to start from square one now.

Bobbie: Oh, honey. Look, I get it. I get it. I know that you're overwhelmed, and I know that you feel like you're being put through the meat grinder. But the only way through it is to keep on moving. If you stop, you're only going to get stuck in the middle.

Carly: What does that mean?

Bobbie: I'm talking about being stuck in bitterness and hatred, and that's no way to live, Carly. And I don't want that for you. So get off your butt, stop raging about Sonny, stop beating around the bush, and get yourself divorced.

Martina: You have a lovely home.

Sonny: Yeah, I like it. It's very big.

Martina: Mm. Good luck holding on to it.

Sonny: [Laughs] Hey, you know what? I'm very good at keeping what's mine.

Martina: [Laughs] I'm clear on that.

Sonny: Uh-huh.

Martina: Mm-hmm. You know I'm an excellent attorney.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Martina: The best weapon in Carly's arsenal. And, intentional or not, you basically neutralized me.

Sonny: I give you my word -- the night we were together, I didn't know who you were.

Martina: I believe it. You know, now that I'm leaving, I suppose Ava Jerome is neutralized, too?

Sonny: Yeah, everything's under control. If Carly finds out how well we know each other, it ain't going to be from Ava.

Martina: You know, it's funny, you and Carly have the exact same opinion of Ava. You despise her.

Sonny: For good reason.

Martina: But now she has information that will hurt both you and Carly. I mean, why wouldn't she use it? I mean, you said the woman is basically a vicious snake.

Sonny: I know better than to turn my back on Ava, but Ava should know that it's better to work with me than it is against me.

Martina: Too bad you and your wife can't come to the same kind of understanding.

Carly: You make it sound like I'm deliberately dragging my feet.

Bobbie: Well, Carly, you are wasting time trying to figure out this lawyer's motives. Good riddance to her. And this tactic of trying to hold on to Sonny's assets? For what? So you can stretch this out for years?

Carly: Okay, so, I'm just supposed to let Sonny get away with what he did to Jax and Josslyn? I don't think so.

Bobbie: Oh, what are you, the karma police?

Carly: Mom, he has to pay!

Bobbie: And you deserve some peace and happiness. And all the money in the world, including Sonny's ill-gotten fortune, won't give you that. You may get some temporary peace from hurting Sonny, but he won't be the only one you hurt.

Carly: I can handle the pain.

Bobbie: I'm talking about Michael and Joss. Your children love you, and they'll defend you. They'll even sit on their true feelings. But this is taking a toll on them.

Carly: Did they say something to you?

Bobbie: They didn't have to. You told me that Joss was pressuring you to divorce Sonny. And Michael defends and supports you, but he still loves his father.

Carly: Yeah, I don't want him to go through any more pain ever. You know?

Bobbie: Well, then, just make a quick, clean break. Put Sonny in the rearview mirror. Let everyone get on with their lives. Isn't what you've been telling Michael to do with Nelle?

Michael: I'm sorry, excuse me. I thought that Dr. Munro had arranged a room for Nelle.

Deanna: We're waiting for a room to open up.

Michael: Okay, can I see her?

Deanna: She isn't awake.

Michael: Yeah, maybe she'll wake up when someone's here that cares about her. I'm sorry, I'm Michael Corinthos.

Deanna: I know who you are and that you're a friend to the nurses. If you'll excuse me, I have to go check on some lab results.

Michael: Thank you.

[Monitor beeping]

Valentin: Why should I be concerned about Charlotte?

Nina: She's with Lulu.

Valentin: What? Tonight? Why?

Nina: Um, Nelle failed to show up at pick-up, and so the school tried to get in touch with you, but I guess you were busy, and so they called her mother.

Valentin: Yeah, I've got two missed voice mails. Well, did Lulu call to say she'd be getting Charlotte?

Nina: I was here, and they showed up here for ice cream. I saw them, and Lulu told me what happened.

Valentin: I don't understand. Why didn't you take Charlotte and take her back to Wyndemere?

Nina: Because Wyndemere's not my home anymore.

Valentin: And you thought it was more important to make that point than to take care of Charlotte?

Nina: No, I thought it was more important not to get into a fighting match with Lulu in front of Charlotte. Maybe it was the wrong call, but I was thinking of what was best for your daughter. And you know what, and I love her, and I would never do anything to harm her. I wasn't trying to get back at you.

Valentin: Okay. Okay, this is my fault. I should never have let things get this far out of control. I promise you, no matter how long it takes, I am going to put our lives back together.

Nina: Just think of your daughter, okay?

Dante: "As years went by, Ferdinand grew and grew until he was very big and strong. And for all I know, he is sitting there still, under his favorite cork tree, smelling the flowers just quietly. He is very happy." What'd you guys think? Oh, looks like I still got it. I'm surprised you're still awake.

Lulu: I wouldn't miss a moment of this.

Sonny: I'm not looking for war here, you know what I mean?

Martina: [Chuckles] Yeah, I hope you don't find one, but I don't rule it out. Sonny, this is just the beginning. There is plenty of time left for you and Carly to hurt each other, okay, and plenty of time for you to change course. From where I stand, you have the most to lose here.

Sonny: What do you want me to do? You want to give Carly everything that's mine? I know you did all your little printouts on me, but you don't know me at all.

Martina: [Scoffs] Okay. Yeah, I know the road you're headed down. Sonny, listen, this is my world. You know, I've seen all of this before, from "conscious uncoupling" to the "War of the Roses." You could lose everything, and I'm not just talking about money -- I'm talking about your entire family's well-being, your dignity, your sense of self. High-profile divorce is a dirty, dirty business.

Sonny: Which you seem to love, by the way.

Martina: Okay, loving something and being good at something are two different things. I think you can relate to that. And I'm just offering my seasoned advice.

Sonny: Well, I already have a lawyer, but I really appreciate your "seasoned advice." [Laughs]

Martina: Okay, are you all set on friends, too? I mean, 'cause I think we meet the minimum requirements.

Sonny: [Chuckles] Maybe. But, you know, friendship on the opposite coast is just kind of not what I'm into.

Martina: Well, I'm not gone yet. So... and as my first act of friendship, I... allow me to return this. Since I can't convince you to tread lightly, maybe this will.

Deanna: Dr. Munro, here are the test results.

Griffin: Thank you. Thank you for being on top of things, Deanna. Let's see.

Carly: Yes, I'm at the hospital picking up your anti-rejection meds. You get your homework done? All right, sweetheart. I love you, too. Bye.

Griffin: Carly.

Carly: Yeah? Hi.

Griffin: Are you looking for Michael?

Carly: No. Why?

Michael: Hey, Nelle. It's Michael. You, uh, you probably can't hear me, but I just, um, I want you to know that you're safe. You're at GH, and you have some really good people here looking after you. You're going to get the best care. I'm going to see to that. Just get better, okay? You should probably rest, and I'll leave you alone. But I won't be far.

Sister Crane: Oh. I'm sorry, Dr. Marick, or whoever you are, you don't get up until I get an explanation.

Anna: I'm so disorientated. I don't know where I am or how long I've been here or what day it is.

Sister Crane: You're in London at the Marick Clinic, and today's the 17th.

Anna: I've been here two weeks?

Sister Crane: Not April. May.

Anna: My God. I left Port Charles at the end of March. I've been drugged here for two months? Oh, you know, I have a blood disease.

Sister Crane: I know. Dr. Lancaster insisted on performing regularly scheduled phlebotomy, although he wouldn't say why --

Anna: Yeah, to hell with him. You know, I don't know why he's holding me or what this is all for!

Sister Crane: Careful. You mustn't excite yourself.

Anna: Look, I'm Anna, all right? I am not Alex. She's my sister. She's my twin.

Sister Crane: I've never even heard of you.

Anna: Yeah, well, we're not close. We live very separate lives. That's going to have to change. I need to find out what she's doing, what she's been up to.

Sister Crane: Isn't it possible that you're confused, because of your injury or all the drugs?

Anna: No. Listen to me, Sister, please, just listen. Doesn't any of this ring true? Why would I have to be sedated all the time? Why? Wouldn't it be so that I don't reveal my identity? And did Alex have a blood disease? Did she have one?

Sister Crane: No, none that I know of.

Anna: Okay. Look, why don't you go to the internet and search my name -- Anna Devane -- and look for images of me and then come back. Can you bring a phone with you? I need to call someone.

Lulu: Hey. Did Rocco go down?

Dante: Yeah, like a light. Didn't even want a glass of water. How'd it go with Charlotte?

Lulu: She asked for Nina and Valentin.

Dante: What did you say?

Lulu: I told her not to worry. I told her she'd see them tomorrow.

Dante: Oh.

Lulu: Then I stroked her hair while she nodded back off. She's so beautiful.

Dante: Like her mom. I'm really happy for us. I just feel like the other shoe's going to drop.

Lulu: I know. What is going on with Valentin? I can't even imagine what would keep him from picking Charlotte up.

[Doorbell rings]

Dante: Well, maybe we're about to find out.

[Knocking on door]

Dante: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm coming.

Valentin: I'm here for my daughter.

Sonny: I was wondering where I left it.

Martina: You didn't know?

Sonny: Ah...

Martina: [Laughs] I found it while I was packing. I thought I'd bring it back to you personally, so, you know, it wouldn't get lost again.

Sonny: Well, I took it off for a reason.

Martina: And just left it in my stateroom on your daughter-in-law's boat?

Sonny: [Laughs]

Martina: Mm-hmm. Why didn't you just toss it overboard, huh? I have a theory. Maybe you left it hoping someone would find it. Maybe you believe in signs. So that if you got it back, I don't know, you'd have to think twice about going ahead with the divorce. How am I doing?

Michael: Hey, hey, hey, Nelle. How are you?

Nelle: [Whimpers]

Michael: It's okay, it's okay. Hey, hey, take it easy. You've had a rough time. You had a rough time. Let me get you a doctor, all right?

Griffin: Hey, no need. I'm here. Hey, Nelle. I'm Dr. Munro. Michael, would you give us a second? I'd like to talk to Nelle privately.

Carly: Michael, hi.

Michael: Hey, Mom. Nelle's in there. She was attacked.

Carly: I know. Griffin told me.

Michael: He told you. Did he say what's going on with her?

Carly: He just said that she's in bad shape, but she'd be worse if you hadn't found her.

Michael: Yeah, she wouldn't have been hurt at all if I hadn't walked off and left her.

Nina: My dad used to make these for my mom all the time. All the time. [Chuckles] I wasn't that close with my dad. It's why I really love -- admire how devoted Valentin is to his daughter Charlotte.

André: Well, if you don't mind my saying, you seem somewhat conflicted about your relationship with your husband.

Nina: That's an understatement. But I can't talk about that with you, because you're friends with Anna Devane, and she is the root of everything.

André: Okay, true. Anna and I are friends. But I can admit she's an acquired taste.

Nina: Have you tasted?

André: I -- no. [Clears throat]

Nina: How did she bamboozle a smart man like you?

André: We're not talking about me.

Nina: But I need to know. Please, how does she do it? How does she get smart, intelligent men to fall all over themselves for her. Please enlighten me. Because all that's there is a self-serving bitch who ruins families and breaks up relationships, and why are you friends with her?

André: There's more to Anna than --

Nina: There's less to Anna. You take away the accent, and you take away the manners, and you have a cold-blooded snake.

André: That's not the Anna I know.

Nina: Maybe you don't know Anna at all.

Anna: Did you get a phone?

Sister Crane: What?

Anna: A phone.

Sister Crane: No. Sorry, I forgot. I'm still processing, I suppose.

Anna: But you believe me, right?

Sister Crane: I... there must have been a mistake. Dr. Lancaster found you unconscious and mistook you for your sister.

Anna: Yes, well, I was at Alex's office, and I blacked out. And... oh, she drugged me. She must've drugged me. She did that, and then she brought me here. And the next thing I know is I wake up and I'm here.

Sister Crane: Maybe your blackout was because of your medical condition.

Anna: No, it wasn't! I don't have to be sedated 24 hours a day. Okay, look, that's not the point. It doesn't matter if you believe me or not. I'm wasting time, and I need to get out of here, and you have to help me. Please.

Valentin: Well, may I come in?

Dante: That's your call.

Lulu: As long as you can keep things civil.

Valentin: Well, I understand the nanny didn't show for pick-up this afternoon.

Lulu: That's correct. The school tried to contact you, and you weren't reachable.

Valentin: I didn't have access to my phone.

Lulu: Which made me the only available parent.

Valentin: And at what point did you decide to bring Charlotte here for the evening?

Lulu: As opposed to...?

Valentin: Taking Charlotte home.

Lulu: The nanny was missing, and you were nowhere to be found. I wasn't going to leave Charlotte with your servants. It's not Charlotte's fault you can't arrange for child care.

Valentin: Right, well, I don't know what happened. I just want my daughter.

Lulu: Well, now you know how I feel.

Michael: I ran into Nelle on the docks. She said that her job with Nina was over, that she was planning on leaving Port Charles.

Carly: Okay, well, that's understandable.

Michael: She couldn't think of a reason to stay. I could've given her a reason to stay.

Carly: Okay, we don't even know what's wrong with her, okay? We don't.

Michael: It has to be her kidney, Mom, and if it is, she could be in serious trouble because, thanks to us, she only has one left.

Carly: None of this is your fault!

Michael: Then whose fault is it, huh? What, is it the jerk who mugged her, is it her low-life father, or Jax for buying Josslyn a kidney? I mean, everyone was desperate, everybody was wrong, but the only person who seems to be paying for it is Nelle.

Griffin: How do you feel?

Nelle: Sore. Dizzy.

Griffin: How's your head?

Nelle: Foggy.

Griffin: What do you remember?

Nelle: I was on the dock waiting for the boat to Spoon Island. I was talking to Michael. He left. And then some guy tried to mug me, and I fought back, and that's the last thing I remember.

Griffin: Okay, yeah, then Michael found you and called for help, not a moment too soon either.

Nelle: What do you mean?

Griffin: A kidney was bruised, and with one, we have to monitor it very closely. We're doing everything we can to help your kidney heal, okay? I'm going to go check on your room, see if it's ready. Somebody from hospital admitting will be up here with some paperwork, and Michael's been anxious to see you. You want me to send him in?

Sonny: You know, I don't really like to play games. I just forgot to put the ring on after a one-night stand. End of story.

Martina: Okay, that clears that up. My offer of advice and friendship are officially rescinded.

Sonny: Well, Martina, you don't have to get all sensitive on me.

Martina: Oh, no, I'm not. I just -- it's not my job to help you salvage a relationship that you have no desire to salvage.

Sonny: Well, it doesn't really matter, because Carly did something to me that hurt me really bad and I don't really want to -- I just want to put it behind me.

Martina: Well, how about you start by getting rid of said ring?

Sonny: Said ring -- it had its uses because it brought you here tonight. Right?

Martina: It's late. I have a flight to catch in the morning.

Sonny: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. It's not really that late, and I know how to set an alarm.

André: I'm not going to justify my friendship with Anna or comment on supposed hidden motivations. She's a complicated woman with a complicated past.

Nina: Oh, yeah, my husband is part of that "complicated past" that she brought into the present. Listen, Valentin is not innocent, I know that, but she is worse. She took advantage of his pain and his weaknesses, and she has you defending her.

André: And you're defending Valentin. That's not an accusation. It's just an observation. Whatever's gone wrong in your marriage, you obviously still care about him, and from what I can tell, what you have with him is far greater than whatever he imagined he had with her.

Valentin: Thank you for picking Charlotte up from school. Now, if I could just get her, we'll get out of your hair.

Lulu: Charlotte had a really rough day today waiting and wondering if someone was going to pick her up. We calmed her down, we got her fed, she forgot about it. She went to bed happy. I ever reassured her that she would see you tomorrow.

Dante: You really want to undo all that? Wake her up in the middle of the night?

Valentin: No, no, this is not going to traumatize her. I'm her father.

Lulu: Okay, you know what, we know that you have custody, so it's your prerogative. But I have to tell you that it's my prerogative to inform the social worker about this late-night drop-in. I already spoke to Ms. Watkins earlier today when I informed her of your disappearance.

Sister Crane: I just don't know. Maybe we should wait a bit. Oh! You mustn't exert yourself! You've been in bed for months. Come now, back in bed --

Anna: No, I can't stay here, okay?

Dr. Lancaster: On the contrary. I insist.

Sonny: You can -- why don't you stay?

Martina: You just called me a one-night stand.

Sonny: Well, but we got another night.

Martina: [Scoffs] Oh, God. You don't want me. You just want a distraction.

Sonny: No. Can you give us a little more credit than that?

Martina: A distraction from the mess you're in.

Sonny: I'm not in a mess, and if I was in a mess, you cared enough to come all the way out here to my house at night. You could've just texted. Listen, listen to me. I'm not playing around right now, okay? We're good together, we enjoy each other's company, you haven't left yet. You know, I mean, we still have time for one more act of friendship.

Martina: Maybe more than one.

[Kiss]

Carly: It's no secret how I feel about Nelle, but I wouldn't wish this on her, ever.

Michael: Yeah, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have lashed out.

Carly: No, it's okay. I get that you're worried. Sometimes it's easier to be angry than afraid.

Michael: Yeah, well, anger only gets you so far. Eventually, you have to stand still and feel what you feel.

Carly: Oh, baby.

Michael: Hey, how's Nelle doing?

Griffin: We're admitting her.

Michael: Hey, can I talk to her?

Griffin: Uh, I'm afraid not.

Michael: Look, I'm not trying to get her medical details here. I just want to see her.

Griffin: Look, I'm sorry, this isn't my call. It's Nelle's. She doesn't want to see you.

Nina: I think back to the first night that I met Valentin. I was staying here at the Metro Court, and I was a little tipsy. Just a little bit. And I was outside my room. I dropped my card key, and there he was. He picked it up for me. And he was charming, and it was unexpected, and if I had to do it over again... I would.

André: In shrink-speak, that's an important realization.

Nina: Yeah. Now I'm sitting here nursing a broken heart. I would do it all over again, because I've been happy. And I saw how full my life could be, and I saw who I really was. I saw me. I like me. And no matter how badly Valentin screwed up, he got me here. That's a good thing, right? I mean, we all know that I'm the best thing to happen to him, of course. [Laughs] Besides his daughter. But I think he knows that. And he's going to regret the day he ever laid eyes on Anna Devane. So will she.

Valentin: You notified the social worker?

Lulu: Of course, I did. You think I'm going to use this situation to just swoop in and grab Charlotte without permission? No, I did it by the book, which meant checking in with Ms. Watkins and getting her blessing before I stepped foot on school grounds.

Valentin: You thought of everything.

Lulu: That's what a responsible parent does. So, now it's your turn -- wake our daughter up or let her have a good night's sleep before school tomorrow.

Valentin: I'll be back first thing with fresh clothes.

Lulu: No need. I have clothes for her here. I hope you like pancakes.

[Door opens]

Dante: Wow, wow, I am impressed! You got him on the run.

Lulu: Oh, let's just hope it lasts.

André: Nina, going after Anna isn't going to serve you.

Nina: I'm not talking about me. I'm talking about Valentin. He knows that she's been manipulating him. You don't think that he's going to let her get away with that, do you? Got to go. Drinks on me, all right? It's been nice.

André: Anna, it's André. Call me right away. I think trouble's coming your way.

Sister Crane: Dr. Lancaster, the patient, she just --

Dr. Lancaster: I'll deal with you later, right after we get Alex back to sleep.

Sister Crane: Good God!

Anna: [Grunts] Okay, Sister, look at me. I need clothes, okay? I'm getting the hell out of here.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Brad (to Laura): You're no better than your good friend Tracy.

Michael (to Kiki): I need a favor.

Hayden (to Finn): Do I want to have a baby right now?

Nina (to Nelle): I came to apologize. I'm so sorry.

Valentine (to Lulu): What game are you playing?
