Curtis: Hey, cupcake. I see you're, uh, taking advantage of this heat wave.
Hayden: Yeah. It feels good. What are you up to? Shooting hoops?
Curtis: [Exhales heavily] You know me. [Sighs] So, why are you, uh, cheesing? Finn?
Hayden: Uh, yeah. You know, Finn and I are... I don't know what we are at the moment.
Griffin: Hey. Cake in the break room?
Finn: No, no cake in the break room. There was cake in the break room. This is the cake. It's now gone. Someone from my group-therapy session brought it in. [Inhales sharply] I went there first thing this morning.
Griffin: I'm happy to hear it.
Finn: Well, I'm glad you're happy. I'd rather be vindicated. Any word on my latest test results?
Griffin: Uh, not yet, but we should have them today.
Finn: Look, I want to thank you. I appreciate you going along with Hayden's plan.
Griffin: Yeah, well, if somebody's tampering with your results, we should know about it. Let's just hope your plan works, for everybody's sake.
Valentin: I love you, Nina. You've transformed my life. You've made me happier than I've ever been, happier than I deserve to be. Nina. I was at the stables exercising Lumičre. I saw you getting off the launch. Thank God you're back.
Nina: I'm here to say goodbye. I'm leaving you, Valentin.
Olivia: Okay, it's official. Lucy Coe is gonna drive me to a nervous breakdown with this Nurses' Ball prep. Did you know that she ordered linens from an outside vendor and had them shipped to us? I just got the confirmation on my e-mail.
Carly: Let me see.
Olivia: Hey. You're still wearing your wedding rings. Uh... does that mean you and Sonny are...
Carly: For appearance sake. My lawyer wants me to wear them in court every day so it looks like I'm still holding out hope for my marriage till the bitter end.
Olivia: Aren't you?
Sonny: Dr. Maddox... what do you got there? Is it anything to do with Morgan or his medication?
Valentin: Listen, I know that you're upset. You have every right to be.
Nina: Come on. Stop. Admit it. Please admit this to me, that Anna has been between us this entire time.
Valentin: No. No. When I met you, Anna was an unpleasant memory. And then when I came back to Port Charles, she was an adversary, somebody trying to keep me from my child. You were the only person in town remotely happy to see me.
Nina: But I --
Valentin: This -- you made me want to change my life.
Nina: Explain to me that every time I turn around, there is Anna. And then you lie about it over and over again.
Valentin: Because I'm an idiot. Because -- because I think that the memories are locked away, but they're still inside me. And Anna knows that, and she trades on that, but I don't want to let that get in between you and me. I don't want to lose you, Nina.
Nina: Why would you throw away everything we have and chase after a woman who mistreated you so many years ago?
Valentin: I'm not chasing her. I'd be thrilled if I never saw her again.
Nina: You were with her the other night. You were so nervous on the phone, you hung up on me. You came home. You smelled like perfume and champagne. Then I asked you if you wanted to have an affair with her, and you hesitated. You didn't deny it.
Valentin: Now I deny it. Anna's a painful memory. She's never caused me anything but pain. I don't want her. I want you. I love you, Nina.
[Cell phone ringing]
Anna: Hi. Uh, Robin? Hello. How are you? Yes, yes. Oh, uh -- oh, I know. I'm so excited that you're coming out for the Nurses' Ball. It's going to be -- ah. Mnh. Me too. I can't wait for Emma's act. It's going to be amazing. You, uh -- Robin, um, listen, I can't talk right now. I'm -- I'm... well, maybe we can just discuss the details later. It's just that I'm really -- I'm -- I'm fine. I'm just arriving for my phlebotomy appointment.
Valentin: We've built a family. It means everything to me. Please don't go. There's no more Anna. I will never see her again.
Curtis: Is he still clean?
Curtis: You sure?
Hayden: I am. But --
Curtis: But what?
Hayden: Something's been going on with his drug tests. Someone's been tampering with them.
Curtis: Oh, damn. You sure about that?
Hayden: Please don't tell me I'm enabling by having faith in him.
Curtis: I won't. But I will tell you, you need to be careful. Now, what's this tampering business?
Hayden: We should find out soon.
Curtis: Look, let me know if you need my help, all right? If someone is sabotaging Finn's hard work, I'll shut that down -- real talk.
Hayden: Thanks. But it's handled.
Griffin: Look, it's a little dicey for all of us, all right? I've been avoiding Monica while I wait for these test results. But it's not just your vindication on the line. Think about it. If a staff member is falsifying lab tests, that's a real problem for the hospital. That's not a conversation I look forward to having with Monica, either.
Finn: I get that. I do. I was at the Quartermaine gathering for Tracy yesterday, and...
Finn: ...Kept thinking Monica was gonna bring it up, but fortunately she had other things on her mind.
Griffin: Oh, boy. Don't look now. There she is. Uh, well, my rounds are done. I'm going on break.
Finn: Yeah. Let me get some more cake.
Carly: This is unbelievable. What is wrong with our linen vendor?
Olivia: I know. Lucy is not shy about making herself important, especially during the Nurses' Ball. It's like her yearly excuse to become a full-on diva. [Exhales sharply]
Carly: Wow. Well, it is for a good cause, so we can't forget that.
Olivia: Speaking of which, um, is Sonny buying a table this year, and will you be sitting at it?
Carly: Wow. Subtle. Really?
Olivia: I'm just -- I'm sorry. I just keep thinking that if the two of you would just talk...
Olivia: ...Would just drop the hurt...
Olivia: ...And the pride and -- and just look into each other's eyes.
Carly: And that's where the music swells, right, and we ride off into the sunset. We both know it doesn't work that way.
Olivia: [Sighs] Yeah.
Carly: What is this? Are you and Ned finally engaged?
Carly: Oh, my -- really?! Oh, my gosh. Really? I've been caught up in my own life. I didn't know this was happening. Why didn't you tell me you and Ned were getting married?
Olivia: Honestly? I was kind of afraid to.
Sonny: We already talked about the pill bottles that the cops found at the robbery. You recommended the lab so I could have the pills tested. I did that.
André: I know. Carly told me all about it. She gave me a copy of the analysis.
Sonny: Right, right, and it came back lithium, which is what I take.
André: That's right.
Sonny: Okay. Why -- why do you have that look on your face, like there's something you're not telling me?
Valentin: I screwed up. I know that now, but I can do better. Whatever you want to say about me, I think I've proven my ability to remake myself.
Valentin: I can be the husband you want me to be. Just give me a chance to prove that.
Nina: Nope. Mnh-mnh.
Valentin: Please stay.
Nina: Mnh-mnh. Mnh-mnh. No. I can't. I won't. My ex-husband's affair pushed me to the edge. I was vengeful and angry. I was out of control, and then I woke up from my coma. And all I wanted to do was hurt people... including myself. And I've...really changed. I'm not ever gonna feel like that again. I promised myself I would never feel like that again.
Valentin: No, no, no, no. Hey, you don't have to worry about that with me. Our wedding may have been spontaneous, it might have been untraditional, but I've taken our wedding vows seriously. I've never broken them. I swear to you there's no affair here.
Nina: You may not have been with Anna physically. But you've been with her emotionally. Don't deny that to me.
Valentin: I won't deny that there was a connection once, because she was the first person to not be repulsed by me. I thought she was the only one who could love me.
Nina: Right, right, because you made advances and she rejected you. You told me all about it. You already explained that to me.
Valentin: She says she remembers everything and she's sorry and she's trying to make amends. I should never have listened to her. I should have shut her down right away.
Nina: Okay, then why did you accept the watch that she gave you and lie to me about it?
Valentin: How long have you known?
Nina: I found the box that the watch came in. There was a mark from the tape that was attached to it with the note. I looked at it, I compared it, and it matched. I knew the first day, and you lied. I asked you where you got the watch, and you said you bought it for yourself. You lied to me then. Why should I believe you now?
Valentin: I'll show you.
Valentin: Here. Take it. Take it. I don't...
Nina: I don't want your watch.
Valentin: ...Want the watch. Give it away. Throw it away. I don't care.
Anna: Aw, damn it. [Sighs]
Griffin: Anna. Why are you so upset?
Curtis: So, how about you and Finn, other than that hospital stuff? You all good?
Hayden: Ah, you know, our relationship's kind of... in recovery, too. I mean, he's focused on getting and staying clean, and things are still a little weird, you know, after he saw us kissing.
Curtis: Yeah, yeah, you were pretty messed up that night. I'm surprised you even remember it.
Hayden: Oh, I remember.
Finn: So do I.
Carly: Why would you be afraid to tell me? I mean, I love talking trash about the Quartermaines, because I still have a grudge against AJ -- may he rest in peace. But I think Ned's the sanest one in the family, outside of Michael, of course. I am so happy. I think it's great that you're getting married.
Olivia: Well, it's just that you've got so much going on in your life right now. I didn't want to make you feel any worse.
Carly: I... you thought I couldn't be happy for you? I predicted this. I did. I was excited for you then. I'm excited for you now. Whoo! You're getting married!
Olivia: I know. Finally. I am gonna have a husband. And Leo is gonna have a father...
Olivia: ...A good father. And thank you so much for understanding, because if I had to sit on this joy any longer, I was about to explode.
Carly: Oh, my God. Feel it. Feel it. Experience it. You deserve it. [Sighs] Oh, God. It's such a great feeling.
Carly: It is, you know?
Olivia: Hey, don't you talk like that, like this is all locked in the past for you. Don't you be afraid to love again.
André: Mr. Corinthos, I understand how important this is to you and your wife.
Sonny: Soon-to-be ex-wife, but that's beside the point. We're working really hard at trying to -- I don't know -- make peace with Morgan's death. And the pills that were tested -- we just were hoping we'd find an explanation as to Morgan's downward spiral. So, if you have any information, I need to know.
André: Mr. Corinthos, there are some cases that stick with you. They shake you to your core. Morgan is the one for me. He was making such progress, and just like that, he bottomed. So I, too, need to understand what happened -- not like you, of course. He was your son.
André: But he was my patient. And I was so proud of him. That's why I'll keep digging, and I'll get whatever answers I can for both of us. You have my word.
Sonny: I appreciate that. And I'll hold you to your word. Now, I got to head to Pediatrics 'cause I got to get my little girl's records. She starts preschool.
André: Avery, right?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah.
André: Morgan used to talk about her.
Sonny: Yeah. He -- you know, he loved her. She's the kind of girl, if you're having a bad day, she smiles at you, it...lights up the whole room. Keep in touch.
André: I will. Dr. Quartermaine, do you have a minute? Are you free right now?
Monica: I have a little time. What's up?
André: I need to talk to you. It's about Morgan Corinthos.
Anna: Oh, I was just listening to a podcast. You know, the political climate is just so volatile these days. So, you out for a run?
Griffin: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm training for the GH half-marathon before the Nurses' Ball. Robin called me while I was running.
Griffin: Yeah. She said that you mentioned something about your phlebotomy treatment today at GH. Did you not tell her you chose a private clinic?
Anna: I thought I did. It must have slipped my mind.
Griffin: Right. But that doesn't explain why you're here and not there. Anna, you need to stay on top of your illness.
Anna: I know. I am. Yeah. It's just, I got confused. Um, I guess it's tomorrow, not today.
Griffin: She also mentioned that you seemed tense. "Harried," she said.
Anna: Oh, she really shouldn't worry so much. [Chuckles]
Griffin: Try again. Look, something is going on, and I think it has to do with Valentin.
Valentin: I tried to give that watch back. I was wrong to take it in the first place.
Nina: Why would you take it at all?! Why would you wear it?
Valentin: Because some...scars cut deeper. If she was trying to make an amends to me, I guess I wanted that vindication, but not at your expense. [Sighs] I love you, Nina. You accepted me for who I am and for who I was. You have no idea how much that means. You know, marrying you was my salvation. You gave me a life that I -- I never even dreamed of. You gave me the love of a -- of a beautiful, intelligent, truly good woman. We have a family. You, me, Charlotte -- we're all that matters. Please give me another chance. All right. And if not for me, then at least for Charlotte. We can work through this. I can prove myself to you. But please stay for Charlotte's sake.
Finn: I guess I've been meaning to talk to you about that night.
Curtis: No need, man. It's water under the bridge, okay? If you're cool, I'm cool.
Hayden: Finn, I was drunk.
Finn: It's okay. You called me out about my behavior, which was warranted and completely inexcusable.
Curtis: Withdrawal is hell, man. I know. I've been there.
Finn: You know, I wanted to thank you for helping me through detox, and if there's anything I can ever do to return the favor, all you have to do is ask.
Curtis: Just take care of my girl, all right? I don't want have to do more than duct-tape you to a chair.
[Children shouting indistinctly]
Hayden: He's just being protective.
Hayden: And just to be clear, kissing him was an idiot move. It was born out of hurt and way too much alcohol.
Finn: I'm in no position to pass judgment on anyone. Maybe we could just... change the subject?
Finn: You think maybe I could show you something?
Carly: I am not afraid of love.
Olivia: Well, why not? Love is terrifying. Carly, it leaves you vulnerable and exposed. It guarantees you heartache and a complete loss of self.
Carly: When you write that book, I would like to have my copy autographed.
Olivia: Hey, I'm -- I'm just -- I'm just saying that I understand. I mean, you know I was afraid to marry Ned. I was terrified. I still am. But then when I saw him in danger, it's like all that fear -- it just melted away, and I realized that I was more afraid of spending the rest of my life without him.
Carly: Can I -- can I see this for a second, because I need to --
Olivia: Okay, okay, okay. I'm hitting a nerve. You're obviously -- you're changing the subject.
Olivia: Are you remembering all the times that you and Sonny faced down danger together, what you really felt like when you thought you might never see him again?
Carly: Okay, why are we talking about me and Sonny? 'Cause we were talking about you -- and happy you.
Olivia: No, no.
Olivia: Honey, we're talking about fear... and happiness... and love and death.
Carly: How did we go from love to death? Okay, are you having another one of your premonitions?
Olivia: Death. No. Death, Carly. It's around us all the time. Face it. That's not morbid. That's just the truth. It can come for anyone at any time. And are you really comfortable with the thought that you may never see the face or hear the voice of the man that you have loved most of your adult life ever again? And for what? What -- 'cause he acted like an ass, and you retaliated instead of working things out? You wasted your time and his time until... your time was up. That ain't a premonition, Carly. That's just plain sad.
Sonny: Long time, no see. I was hoping no news is good news, but by the look on your face...
Martina: I tried to convince Carly to settle amicably...
Martina: My client wishes to go forward as planned. She was, uh, suspicious of me even bringing up a settlement. I had to back off immediately.
Sonny: Well, that's Carly. She doesn't miss a beat. When she gets angry, she, you know, goes right for it.
Martina: Yeah, you're right about that.
Sonny: But I'm not gonna let her force me out of the country, though.
Martina: Yeah, but we have the added complication of Ava Jerome. If she goes to Carly, that doesn't do your case or my career any good. Probably be a complaint with the bar. [Sighs] That's why, um, I've come up with a plan to settle your divorce quickly.
Monica: Well, I can certainly understand why Sonny and Carly would like to have these pills tested. Did our lab do it?
André: No. I suggested they be sent to an independent lab, one that I trusted.
Monica: Okay, well, what were their findings?
André: The pills were indeed lithium. Each tablet was 300 milligrams.
Monica: All right, well, that's a reasonable dose. In your mind, was it too high or too low?
André: I prescribed 600 milligrams of lithium.
Monica: Then why were the pills in Morgan's bottle only 300 milligrams?
André: That is a very good question.
Martina: Spending the night with you without even knowing your name was a mistake.
Martina: Yeah. I mean, there have been more damning ones since then, including this meeting now. Oh, but the espresso is heaven.
Sonny: Yeah, well, it's my own special blend.
Sonny: So, what is plan B?
Martina: We can settle this today.
Martina: It'll be done. I'll fly home tonight, leaving Ava in the cold. Carly won't be able to accuse you or me of manipulating the proceedings. Everyone's in the clear.
Martina: Just give Carly everything.
Olivia: [Sighs heavily] I'm sorry, Carly.
Carly: No, don't be. The whole talk about love and death -- boy, that's definitely a distraction. [Chuckles] Why are you so upset?
Olivia: I'm such a dummy. I-I forgot to put down the deposit on Leo's play group, and now my kid's on the wait list. I got so much going on right now, I don't know if I'm coming or going. And I'm supposed to be, what, doing wedding invitations and seating arrangements and all this...
Carly: Okay, okay, you need to take a breath. Take a breath. This is easy for us. We do weddings all the time.
Olivia: Yeah, but do I really want to have my wedding in my place of business? I mean, I could rent a venue. I could ask Monica if we could have the wedding in the Quartermaine rose garden, but do I really want to risk an outdoor wedding? And when in the hell do I really think that I'm gonna have time to try on a wedding dress? It's...
Carly: You need to take two of these to take care of that headache you just gave yourself, and I will take care of this, okay?
Olivia: Oh, my God. Why would you ever even do that?
Carly: For a million reasons. You've been so supportive of me -- you have -- and very sensitive to everything I'm going through. We've been business partners for years. And, you know, I don't have many lady friends, but you're definitely one of them.
Olivia: Honey, I feel the same way.
Olivia: Look at us, getting all sappy.
Carly: I know. Hey, do you like hazelnut?
Carly: I know this guy who makes the best hazelnut cake. It does. It has a great raspberry mousse. It's got French buttercream frosting. It's amazing. It could be your wedding cake. It could be one of my wedding gifts to you.
Olivia: Honey, I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Carly: Right. Awesome. Then I will set up a tasting.
Olivia: I don't even know what to say. Thank you.
Carly: Well, thank you. Are you kidding? This is -- this is good for me, you know? Helping plan something beautiful for a friend is a nice distraction from the ugliness in my life.
Olivia: Your life wouldn't be so ugly if you just dropped all the anger. And who knows? Maybe you'd find your way back to Sonny.
Carly: I'm gonna go see a guy about a cake. You know, it's not too soon to start planning.
Hayden: What exactly am I looking at?
Finn: It's a town house. It's a house that shares a wall with another house.
Finn: More specifically, it's my town house. It's the one that Roxy liked the best. We thought we'd lay down some roots and start a home.
Hayden: It's -- it's very nice. I'm sure you and Roxy will be very comfortable.
Finn: You know, they keep telling me in the program that, um, relationships after withdrawal can be kind of rocky, something about you're not getting the endorphins you need and sometimes you come out a little different.
Hayden: I've heard of that.
Finn: But, you know, I feel good. I think that's the reason why I showed you that, is I was wondering if maybe you could come by and visit some time. Maybe you could leave a toothbrush. I can buy one of those Metro Court robes, you know, the ones that you like, if that would sweeten the deal.
Hayden: You had me at "toothbrush."
Griffin: What's going on with Valentin?
Anna: Oh, Valentin is Valentin, you know? He has nothing to do with my mood right now. That has everything to do with my new reality... and what that brings. You know, uh, yes, uh, of course, I'm going to get my appointments confused every now and again, but I am doing the best that I can to take care of myself, okay?
Griffin: I'm glad to hear it. I'm glad to hear it. And I'm here, you know, if you need help.
Anna: Thank you.
Griffin: I also realize it's been -- it's been a year since your run-in with Carlos Rivera. Could that be affecting your mood?
Anna: Yes, I suppose so.
Griffin: Yeah. Yeah. You told me how frightened you were when he abandoned you in that meat locker.
Anna: Sheer terror.
Griffin: My father came to you, right? And his spirit and your memories of him -- it helped you survive.
Anna: A gift.
Griffin: What was it like? What did my father say to you that gave you the will to live?
[Cell phone beeping]
Griffin: [Sighs heavily] That's the hospital. Of course. I-I have to go. Please tell me the second Emma and Robin get in. I can't wait to see them.
Anna: Me too. Yes.
Griffin: Hey, take care.
Anna: All right. I will.
Griffin: I'll see you.
Anna: Okay. Bye.
Nina: You know I love Charlotte, and I love you... until Anna came between us.
Valentin: Anna is not coming between us.
Nina: Oh, Anna's always -- Anna's always between us. And you lied to me over and over again.
Valentin: I've apologized. I'm --
Nina: I gave you so many chances, and you disappoint me every single time, to the point where I have turned into a jealous, crazy, weak, vengeful woman. I promised myself I would never do that again. [Sighs] Ohh, this is...a really difficult line for me to walk. Maybe you just don't care.
Valentin: No. Of course, I care. I'll never put you in this position again.
Nina: Oh, you never should have put me in this position to start with. I'm done with this.
Valentin: No, no, no, no, no. Listen. Please. I stand convicted. Don't punish Charlotte. She's young. She needs you.
Nina: Don't you dare use Charlotte against me. What good am I doing Charlotte by being like this? Believing your lies? Accepting her father's half-truths? Giving me half your heart? Anna will always be the problem, Valentin. Anna will always be in your life. We both know that.
Valentin: You and I can work through this. But Charlotte is young. She needs you. Please don't be another person she loves who left.
Nina: I love her. I wanted to be a mother to her. I took that very seriously, being a mother to her. I wanted to be a role model. I wanted to be a strong, confident woman for her. I wanted to be the best that I could. I wanted her to be the best that she could. Being like this, jealous and insecure, what kind of role model am I being for Charlotte? What does that do for her? What does it do for me? I can't stay, not because I don't love Charlotte, but because I love her so much. So, I can't -- I... [Sighs] Goodbye, Valentin.
Valentin: [Exhales sharply]
Nina: What are you doing?
Valentin: I'm looking for pity... and disgust.
Nina: You can look all you want because you're never, ever gonna find that... ever. The only thing you're gonna see on my face is how much you mean to me.
Anna: I'll just give you your space.
Valentin: No. Maybe it's time we got to know each other. Damn it! [Breathing heavily]
Curtis: Hey, Nina. Headed to the office? Want to join me for a cup?
Nina: Um...yeah, I don't -- I don't know where I'm going. I don't even know why I'm here.
Curtis: Damn. Things really that bad?
Nina: Remember when I told you, um, about Valentin and Anna's past and then you told me that Valentin's account didn't really add up? You were right.
Curtis: I'm sorry about that.
Nina: Yeah, well, uh, I just let myself believe that it was real. That's all. Stupid. You know, it doesn't matter. It's all smoke and mirrors. Where's my tissue?
Curtis: Hold up. Uh, is that what I think it is?
Curtis: May I?
Nina: Go ahead.
Curtis: Oh, wow. See, um, I have a fondness for trophy watches. And, uh, yo, this one might be out of my, uh, price range, but, um...yeah, maybe one day. Got any plans for this one?
Nina: [Drops the watch and steps on it repeatedly]
[Ear buds squeal]
Anna: [Exhales sharply] Damn. [Sighs heavily]
Hayden: Okay. Where's Griffin?
Finn: I don't know. Probably praying for forgiveness. He was a little antsy earlier about signing off on our plan to find out who's rigging my drug tests.
Hayden: Really? He was having second thoughts? Well, do you think that's why he called us and told us to get here as fast as we could?
Griffin: Hey, guys. Hey, I hope you weren't waiting too long. I, uh, went for a run. I had a shower and changed.
Finn: Oh, you went for a run. Say, that's -- that's nice. Do you have the results of my test?
Griffin: Yeah. Right here.
Hayden: Okay, so, what are you waiting for? Let's hear them.
Finn: Griffin, you're killing me here.
Griffin: [Sighs] You tested positive for opiates.
Finn: Thank you.
Hayden: It worked. Our plan worked.
André: I suppose it's possible that the lab could have made a mistake.
Monica: Well, they're usually very reputable. But we can't rule anything out right now. Did Morgan get his prescription filled here?
André: Yes, at the pharmacy. I hate to suggest this, but could they have given him the wrong dosage?
Monica: I pray that that's not true, but there's really only one way to find out.
André: I was hoping you would say that.
Sonny: You're a piece of work.
Martina: So are you. I guess that's why we clicked the other night. Look [Sighs] I took your request to settle to Carly. Now I'm asking you to bend. Give Carly your legal assets. You can keep your other assets, which I believe are substantial.
Sonny: You've done your homework.
Martina: Although, I mean, from now on, I'm gonna ask my research to, uh, include a photo next time.
Sonny: Good call.
Sonny: Hey, I'd love to be able to compromise, but there's the thing -- my holdings are crucial. So, basically, that leaves one option -- you. I'm sorry, Martina. You're gonna have to quit the case.
Martina: Um [Chuckles] I'm sorry, too. I was hoping it wouldn't come to this. [Sighs] My reputation's gonna take a hit. But I guess it beats disbarment.
Sonny: No hard feelings?
Martina: None. I'm a big girl.
Sonny: Yeah, you are. And I got to tell you, I wish you could stay a little more longer.
Martina: Yeah, me too.
Carly: What the hell is this?
Hayden: Our plan worked.
Hayden: Whoever's been tampering with your drug test had no idea that they were actually testing me.
Finn: Right, and this false positive is proof. We all know you're not on Zekenestrol -- and neither am I, for that matter.
Hayden: I know that. Now we just have to find out who's to blame, even though I have my suspicions.
Finn: So do I. What about Griffin? You ready to move on to phase two? Hey, what's the matter? You still worried about having to talk to Monica about this?
Griffin: No. No, no, no. I'm -- I'm reviewing the results, and there's something else here that needs addressing.
Finn: Oh, what now?
Griffin: The results, uh, say that you're pregnant.
Curtis: Ohh. No, no. Nina, Nina, what you are doing? That watch was a work of art. [Sighs]
Nina: Yeah. That watch is everything that's wrong with my marriage.
Curtis: Just... well -- okay, uh, I-it's just a watch, Nina.
Curtis: Maybe it can be fixed. Or maybe not.
Nina: Yeah, it doesn't really matter to me. Take it. I just -- I want it out of my sight, please.
Curtis: Maybe I'll do just that. Why don't you go get that cup of coffee after all? Uh, real quick -- what do you know about this watchband?
Nina: I don't know anything about the watch. I just know it was a gift from Anna Devane. Why?
Curtis: Because there's a problem... a big problem.
[Cell phone ringing]
Anna: Oh. Valentin. Are you all right?
Valentin: Fine. What do you want?
Anna: Uh, well, I-I was just kind of frustrated with our encounter the other day, and I was wondering if we could maybe pick up where we left off. Are you free to meet?
Nina: Listen, I hate everything about the watch. I don't care about the watch.
Curtis: Maybe you should.
Curtis: Because this was sealed in the wristband.
Nina: What is that?
Curtis: That's a listening device. I guess old Anna's been eavesdropping on your husband.
Monica: Well, the chief pharmacist isn't in at the moment, but I left him a message. Uh, if there has been a mistake here, I -- I would prefer if we kept it between the senior management until there's a full investigation.
André: I agree. This is a highly sensitive matter.
Monica: I have to ask you -- were the pills Morgan was taking the same pills that were tested?
André: They were in Morgan's prescription bottle. But I can't be certain of anything right now except that one minute, Morgan was thriving, and then, inexplicably, his mental health took a dive, and he wound up dead because of it.
Monica: I see how much this has impacted you.
André: Look, I swear I will get to the bottom of this. I owe it to Morgan. But more importantly, I owe it to Morgan's parents because after his death, their lives have never been the same.
Carly: What is this?
Sonny: What do you mean, "What is this?"
Carly: I come to order a cake from Dino and I walk in and I find my husband and my divorce attorney holding hands? Wow. [Laughs] Somebody say something. And it better be good.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Nelle (to Michael): Unless you can think of a reason for me to stay.
Finn (to Hayden): Not if you're pregnant, could you?
Jordan (to Anna): How long did you think you could hide from me?
Valentin (to Anna): I won't be seeing you today or any other day.
Nina (to Curtis): She's been targeting my husband, and she knows exactly where to aim.
Martina (to Carly): I will tell you everything.
