Anna: I knew you'd recognize it -- chimera.

Valentin: I can't believe you still have that.

Anna: Yeah. Well, I rediscovered it, you know. The last time Emma came to visit, she wanted to play dress-up, so she went to my jewelry box, and she found this. I don't remember where I got it. But then, because I've been learning so much about my... our past... I realized why I had kept it.

Valentin: You have a fondness for Greek mythology?

Anna: [Chuckles] No. Chimera project was the last secret I asked you to steal for me before it all went so terribly wrong.

Sam: What did you just call this thing?

Jason: It's a chimera. It's a mythical beast with a lion's head, goat's body, and a snake for a tail.

Sam: Yeah, I-I can, um -- I can see that. I just don't know how you know what it is.

Jason: I don't know how I know. I just know. It's weird.

Sam: It's crazy. I mean, I-I'm just -- I don't know. Do you think it was deliberately hidden or accidentally stuck together? If I hadn't spilled that tequila on it, we would've never known that page existed or -- or what that thing is.

Jason: I can't say where or under what conditions, but I know I've seen this particular image before. And what really freaks me out is that I feel like I was meant to see it.

[Footsteps approaching]

Elizabeth: You're getting awfully good at that.

Franco: What, getting three boys to settle down before bedtime? It's not a -- not a hard thing to do. I just invoke your name. I just say, "Hey, Mom says that it's time for you to go to sleep." And then they all fall in line.

Elizabeth: No, I mean the stories you tell them. You make each one of them feel special.

Franco: They are special. I can see where they get it from. What?

Elizabeth: Jake's timeline. I was sure I rolled this up. Oh, my God. What is that?

Franco: Nothing good.

Scott: [Whistling]

Ava: There you are.

Scott: Oh.

Ava: Why haven't you returned my calls?

Scott: Well, you know, I do have a life outside of you and your brother. I have other clients. But speaking about your brother -- he's in jail, he's gonna stay there until his arraignment, and I doubt then he's even gonna make bail.

Ava: Believe it or not, I, too, have a life outside my brother. I'm not here about Julian. I'm here about me.

Scott: Well, why am I not surprised? So, what hole have you dug yourself into now?

Carly: Okay, well, you're gonna have to reach out to Lucy Coe, because she hasn't given us the table placement for the Nurses' Ball. She also hasn't picked out the tablecloths or told me how many cases of champagne she needs. I swear, that woman is such a diva. She just thinks that she can only pick out 10 dresses and wear -- no. No. See, that's not nice. That's not nice. This is a really, really great cause, so we're going to reach out to Lucy and we're going to request that she finalizes the arrangements, okay? Thank you.

Josslyn: Mom.

Carly: Hey! What are you doing here? I thought you had a -- I don't know, a meeting for the end-of-school dance.

Josslyn: I did. I just came from it. I need your signature that says it's okay for me to go on this class field-trip thing, uh, since I can't get Dad to sign it for me.

Carly: Okay, I'll sign it. Where you going, somewhere fun?

Josslyn: Mom.

Carly: Hmm?

Josslyn: Are we just gonna pretend that Dad wasn't forced to leave the country? And that he can't come back? And the fact that, if I want to see him, I have to fly all the way to Australia?

Carly: Okay, I hate what happened. We can't do anything about it, baby, all right? The best we can do is for you to meet Jax, like, in Montréal or Toronto. It's a one-hour plane ride, that's it.

Josslyn: That's not the point.

Carly: I know it's not the point, okay? I know. The point is, you're unhappy about it, and so am I. You're unhappy that he had to leave. But, baby, the only thing we can do right now is accept it. Go upstairs in my office and do your homework.

Josslyn: Fine.

Carly: Take this. Take this with you. I'll sign it when I come up. I love you. [Sighs] All right.

Sonny: Carly.

Carly: I can't do this right now, okay? You have Diane call my attorney. They've already been talking.

Sonny: It's not about the divorce. It's about Morgan.

Ava: It gives me great pleasure to inform you that, this time, I am not in any trouble at all.

Scott: Whoa. Give me a minute. Give me a minute to get over the shock.

Ava: I'm not looking over my shoulder. I'm not waiting for the other shoe to drop. I mean, really, what was all that constant worrying getting me? Nothing.

Scott: For heaven's sakes, Ava, that's what I've been trying to tell you!

Ava: [Giggles] Well, you know, I'm still pretty new to this optimism thing, but I like it. A-and I think that it's starting to pay off. My relationship with Kiki -- it's improving. And, Scott...did you see that sunset tonight?

Scott: Uh, no. I was in court.

Ava: It...was spectacular. I mean, maybe it's always like that. I wouldn't know. I didn't look. But I'm looking now, thanks to you and your advice.

Scott: Well! Well, look at that, huh? Maybe I should give up representing innocent people. Maybe I should become one of those self-help guys, you know? Sort of a guru, you know, and make those videos where you bring out the brilliance in people.

Ava: You know, that's -- that's actually a pretty noble idea.

Scott: Well, it's also where the big money is.

Ava: [Laughs] Listen to me. Before you go off and you buy some spa in Big Sur and set yourself up to be the next guru for the stars, you should know -- and sorry to tell you this -- but it wasn't an inspirational message that helped me change my attitude.

Scott: What was it, then?

Ava: It was you assurance that Morgan's pills won't come back to bite me. I am...putting that dark, ugly chapter behind me once and for all.

Sonny: Did you know there was a holdup back at The Floating Rib in March?

Carly: I heard something about it. What does that have to do with Morgan?

Sonny: Well, the cops went through, um, what the robbers collected -- cell phone, wallet, and, uh, Morgan's bottle of pills -- lithium.

Carly: Okay. Well, the robbers must've been questioned by the police. What did they say?

Sonny: They refused to talk, and there's not gonna be a trial because they made a deal. So, the -- the cops kept the pills as evidence, and as soon as it was released, Dante brought them to me.

Carly: It doesn't make any sense. Why would Morgan's pills be at The Floating Rib? He kept his daily meds in a pill keeper, and all the rest of his medication was at the house in his room at your place.

Sonny: Well, that's -- that's what I thought. Why would he take the bottle of pills with him?

Carly: Okay, wait. This robbery happened weeks ago. Why didn't you tell me then? Why -- why didn't you tell me when Dante brought you the pills?

Sonny: Believe it or not, I-I was just waiting for an answer 'cause I felt the same way you did. What are the pills still doing there?

Carly: I mean, even if -- even if Morgan had his lithium with him and left it at The Floating Rib or dropped it or something, it still wouldn't be there six months later.

Sonny: Most important thing is, we got the medication back.

Carly: I want to have those pills analyzed. I want to know the reason why those pills weren't working for Morgan.

Sonny: Already done. André gave me the name of an independent lab so I could have the pills analyzed. The results are in.

Sam: If Helena wanted us to find this creature, why would she give the book to Elizabeth?

Jason: Who the hell knows? Maybe she thought Jake would come across it one day, or maybe she thought it would stay hidden until --

Sam: Hidden until when?

Jason: [Sighs] I don't know, just like I can't tell you how I instantly knew what this chimera was.

Sam: Hey, I know this is -- it's frustrating, okay? It's late. The kids are asleep. I don't think we're gonna find out anything more tonight.

Jason: No, I got to try. I just have this feeling that we're running out of time, that something very bad is gonna happen, and we need to deal with this right now.

Franco: This -- this drawing is -- this is not just the figment of an overactive imagination.

Elizabeth: What do you think it is?

Franco: I don't know. It looks like a medieval manuscript.

Elizabeth: I can assure you, this is not something he's studying in school.

Franco: Okay. [Sighs] Well, everything that Jake has drawn so far has been age-appropriate, right? He did a scarecrow, a-a tree, a kid that looks like him behind a tree. I mean, why -- why, all of a sudden, would he start to draw stuff that looks like it belongs in a museum?

Elizabeth: I don't know. But I don't want to wake him up and ask him. It'll just upset him.

Franco: No, no. I agree, I agree. The last thing we want is for Jake to retreat further into his own world.

Elizabeth: Then I don't know what to do.

Franco: Well... Jake did trust me enough to bring me this drawing, right? And I think, on some level, he trusts me to help him, even though he can't help himself. So, with your approval, that's what I would like to do. I'd like to help Jake.

Elizabeth: Thank you for caring so much about my son.

Franco: [Sighs] So, do I have your approval?

Elizabeth: Approved.

Franco: Great.

Anna: So, when I remembered the reason for why I kept the necklace, I realized that it was... kind of a symbol for what might have been. More than just the name of the project that brought us together... or tore us apart.

Valentin: And what is that?

Anna: Well, it's -- it's a creature of mythology. It's an illusion, like a dream. Glimmer of hope. Something that ended too soon.

Valentin: Or never was.

Anna: I wish I could just go back to that night in Lisbon.

Valentin: Anna, there's no reason to revisit the gory details.

Anna: I don't interpret it like that. You know, there are moments from that night that I really cherish. You standing among the candles, and the bells ringing in the church -- it was so magical. And then walking across the square to that hotel... ...where we made love.

Valentin: And then the next morning, you were in the shower, and I found proof... ...that you put a kill order on me.

Anna: No, I wanted you to get away. I left that note there so that you would find it.

Valentin: Oh, please.

Anna: It was a warning.

Valentin: You and I both know that all you wanted was the key to chimera. That's why that necklace is so appropriate. The night in Lisbon was just an illusion.

Anna: Not all of it. You think you know the whole story, but you're wrong.

Valentin: Are you cold?

Anna: Mm, a little. Oh, I wouldn't. I'm still a bit sweaty from the run.

Valentin: It wouldn't be very good manners to let you catch pneumonia.

Anna: Thank you. Very gallant.

Valentin: Still, you'd better wrap this up. Get to the point where you insist it wasn't your decision to put the kill order on me.

Anna: I just wish I'd never heard the word "chimera" or tried to manipulate you out of those secrets.

Valentin: You did more than try. You succeeded.

Anna: Believe me or don't -- I never would've ordered your death.

Valentin: All right, that's it? That's the startling revelation that's supposed to convince me, is it?

Anna: After you vanished, I-I-I went back across the square to the old church. And I lit a candle, and I prayed to Santa Teresa.

Valentin: Did you? Anna Devane, super agent, lit a candle and prayed.

Anna: I did. I prayed for forgiveness.

Valentin: Saint Teresa of Lisieux -- she's the patron saint of missions. Maybe you prayed for forgiveness, because you didn't finish your mission.

Anna: Believe what you want. My regret is not losing the secret of The Chimera project. It's losing you. This necklace reminds me of the hearts that I broke that night in Lisbon. Yours...and mine.

Franco: Okay, that thing's got to have a name, right? So, how would you describe it?

Elizabeth: It's definitely got a head of a lion and a tail of a snake.

Franco: All right, and, uh...feet?

Elizabeth: They're hooves, not feet.

Franco: Are they cloven?

Elizabeth: Looks like it.

Franco: "What kind of animal has cloven hooves?"

Elizabeth: A goat?

Franco: Oh, wow.

Elizabeth: Did you find something?

Franco: Um, that is a chimera. It's a mythological creature that symbolizes illusion, dreams, and fantasies that go unfulfilled.

Elizabeth: That -- that looks exactly like Jake's drawing.

[Cell phone ringing]

Elizabeth: Let me get that. It's Jason. Hey.

Jason: Hey. Uh, sorry to call so late.

Elizabeth: No, that's okay, but Jake's already in bed if you were wanting to speak with him.

Jason: Actually, no. I called to talk to you. Um, this might sound crazy, but has Jake ever mentioned a creature called a chimera?

Elizabeth: Oh, I think you need to come over to my place right away.

Scott: Well, you know what? I am glad that you have taken my advice to heart. You know, as they say, seize the day. So, what do you say we go have some martinis, and we see where that takes us?

Ava: Wait, wait. We haven't even talked about why we're here together -- my case. Now, I know that you like to talk about money up front, so I'll tell you, I'm willing to pay anything.

Scott: What case?

Ava: It's come to my attention that Sonny and Carly are headed for divorce court. Now, what is catastrophic for Sonny is typically very good news for me.

Scott: Why is that?

Ava: It was a year ago at the Nurses' Ball that Carly blackmailed me into giving up Avery.

Scott: Yeah?

Ava: Well, obviously, Scott, that means that Carly is no longer on Sonny's side. So, this could be the perfect opportunity for me to get my little girl back.

Carly: So, what did the lab say?

Sonny: Well, the prescription is lithium. Given the date that the prescription was filled and assuming that Morgan was on schedule, all the pills in the bottle were in the right number.

Carly: So, Morgan was taking the right medication, and he was taking it as prescribed.

Sonny: H-his death had nothing to do with the pills. And, you know, I don't -- I don't know what else to say here, but it's just another dead end. You know what I mean?

Carly: Okay, well, we're never gonna find out why those pills weren't working for Morgan, okay? We're never gonna find out why he started to spiral out of control when he was doing so well. Morgan died because of a terrible chain of events, okay? He was manic, he was upset over Kiki, he started drinking, and then the bartender took his keys. And then he stole the wrong car -- one that Olivia Jerome wired to explode. If one of those things didn't happen, if one of the links in the chain were missing, our son would still be alive. I just can't, um...

Sonny: Listen, I know you had a lot of questions, so I made a copy of the lab report.

Carly: Thank you.

Sonny: [Sighs]

[Cell phone ringing]

Carly: I got to take this.

Sonny: Who is it?

Carly: Lawyer. Hello? No, this is not a good time. Oh, okay. All right, I'll be there. Thank you. All right, well, you're probably gonna get the same call from Diane. The lawyers want us to meet tomorrow and talk about a division of assets.

Sonny: Carly, I hate lawyers. Can't we just... do this between us? It's not like we're hurting for money. We can take out whatever we brought into the marriage. You can -- you can have the house, the hotel, I'll take what's mine.

Carly: I already have what's yours, and I plan on keeping it.

Sonny: I'm looking at the facts. I didn't sleep with Nelle. You definitely slept with Jax. I wasn't unfaithful to you. You were unfaithful to me. I don't want to bring that up in -- in the divorce, but if I have to...

Carly: You can bring up whatever you want. Everything you own is mine. I own the coffee business, the warehouses, Pozzulo's, and Perks -- everything. Even the big, gray house on the lake is mine. I mean, Max and all the boys -- they're guarding everything that's mine. You signed it over to me right before Morgan's funeral.

Sonny: I thought I was going to prison. I-I signed over my assets to protect you and the kids. I can't believe you're gonna hold me to that.

Carly: That's great. That makes us even, because I can't believe you had Jax arrested.

Sonny: [Laughs]

Carly: Then after the charges were dropped, you had Jax deported.

Sonny: He blew up our marriage, Carly.

Carly: What marriage? That's what you said to me. You said we didn't have a marriage, Sonny. Then you gave me an ultimatum. Then you told me we were through.

Sonny: And then it took you, what, not even 24 hours to go running to him.

Josslyn: Leave my mother alone!

Sonny: I'm sorry. I-I-I...

Josslyn: I don't forgive you. How's that? I don't forgive you for having my dad arrested. I don't forgive you for making him leave this country. [Voice breaking] I don't forgive you for hurting my mother. I can't wait for her to divorce you.

Carly: Okay, baby, that is enough, all right? It's enough.

Josslyn: No. Don't do what you always do -- tell me to forgive him for Morgan's sake. I bet Morgan wouldn't forgive you, either.

Sonny: Maybe not.

Scott: I'm saying this not only as your lawyer, but as your friend. You just need to relax and enjoy your newfound tranquility.

Ava: Scott... have we become friends?

Scott: Of course, we're friends. If I was just your lawyer, I'd take your money.

Ava: Yeah, but no. All I want you to do is review and reaffirm the original decision granting me custody.

Scott: Yeah, but you -- you have misread all of this, because Sonny and Carly will always be loyal to each other. You understand that? Especially when it comes to their kids. I mean, they may seem like they want to kill each other, but when kids are involved, they put up a united front.

Ava: I have to do something. This -- this might be my best chance to get Avery back.

Scott: Do nothing. It's your best chance to stay alive. If Sonny and Carly found out that you had anything to do with Morgan's death, they would squash you like a cockroach. There would be nothing left on the pavement -- a little stain. So, you need to stay away from anything to do with kids and their family.

[Door opens]

Elizabeth: Hey, come on in. Thanks for getting here so quickly.

Sam: Yeah, of course. Fortunately, Kristina was able to come right over and babysit.

Jason: And I think it's important that we all try to figure out what's going on with Jake.

Elizabeth: I agree. So does Franco.

Jason: Okay, so we found this in Helena's book. Where did this come from?

Sam: I accidentally spilled some tequila on it, and the pages were stuck together.

Franco: It's called a chimera.

Jason: Yeah, I know. Does anybody know the significance?

Elizabeth: We're not sure, but it's obviously important to Jake.

Valentin: I need to get on the launch to go home.

[Boat engine idling]

Anna: [Groans] Oh, man. I forgot about my ankle.

Valentin: Okay, listen -- I'll take you to the doctor.

Anna: No, I don't want to go to the doctor. It's just a sprain. I-I'll put some more ice on it when I get home.

Valentin: Well, I'm not gonna let you limp home, so why don't I drive you?

[Boat horn honking]

Anna: Okay. I'm not gonna let you carry me, though, for a second time.

Valentin: Lean on me.

Anna: All right.

Elizabeth: If we're right, those numbers represent Jake's birthday but the way they write them in Europe and Greece -- first the day, then the month. So, it's May 7th.

Sam: Okay, but where does The Chimera come in? I understand Helena leaving it in the book, but how would Jake know to draw it so well, and so close to his birthday?

Elizabeth: He's obviously working through some trauma, which is making him withdraw more and more into himself. We even offered to take him camping for his birthday, and he said he wouldn't go.

Franco: Actually, what he said was that he can't go.

Jason: Why not?

Elizabeth: Well, because he feels that it wouldn't be fair to spend his birthday away from you guys and your kids.

Sam: Okay, do you think maybe that's just an excuse?

Franco: Okay, I'm not trying to freak everybody out, but I feel like we're running out of time.

Elizabeth: I agree with you. This chimera clearly means something, and it's tied to his birthday.

Elizabeth: Which is almost here.

Anna: [Sighs] It's very kind of you.

Valentin: Well, what's an act of kindness between mortal enemies?

Anna: Oh, is that what we are?

[Engine sputters]

[Engine sputters]

Valentin: Okay, that's strange. No, I just used this car.

Anna: Hmm.

Valentin: What the hell?

Anna: Well, I guess I'm gonna be limping home after all.

Valentin: No. I'm gonna get you an Uber. Nearest one's on Lincoln.

Anna: Well, I'm sorry. I guess you're stuck with me for a bit longer.

Ava: Okay.

Scott: Okay, what?

Ava: Okay, I'm -- I'm willing to table any talk of Avery and custody... at least for tonight.

Scott: Okay, that's good. So, let's go get a couple of martinis and cheer you up a little bit.

Ava: You -- you know what? I don't -- I don't feel like I have that much to celebrate anymore, really.

Scott: Oh, come on, Ava. Come on, chin up. Come on, one little setback, and you're gonna give up on optimism?

Ava: No. No, I'm not.

Scott: Okay.

Ava: Thank you. And things are okay. They can only get better, right?

Scott: That's right.

Ava: So, let's go.

Scott: Okay.

Ava: And I'll buy the first round.

Scott: No, no, you're gonna have to buy all the rounds because that -- that place that I want to get up in Big Sur, you know, where I'm going to be able to help all these people out of...

Carly: Hey, I want you to take a deep breath, and I want you to count to 10, okay?

Josslyn: Okay.

And then I want you to listen to me. My divorce from Sonny has nothing to do with you. It has nothing to do with you. Sonny and I have a long, difficult history, okay? We do. And sometimes we bring out the best in each other, and unfortunately, sometimes we bring out the worst. And right now, that's what you're seeing, okay? You're seeing the worst. But there's one thing Sonny and I agree on, and that's how much we love you kids. Baby, what Sonny did he did for your father, okay? And it doesn't excuse it, okay? I know it doesn't make it right. But I know Sonny doesn't want you hurt in all this, and I don't, either.

Josslyn: Too late.

Carly: [Sighs]

Sonny: Scotch, straight.

[Cork pops]

Sonny: Single malt, if you got it. Keep pouring, keep pouring, keep pouring. Yeah, leave the -- leave the bottle right here. There you go.

Martina: Somebody's had a bad day.

Sonny: Trust me, you don't want to know.

Martina: Try me. I'm sure I've heard worse.

Sonny: [Sighs] I don't like to whine about my problems.

Martina: No, you'd rather drown them in your scotch? Oh, see, that's why I'm not married.

Sonny: [Laughs] What makes you think my bad mood has anything to do with my marriage?

Martina: Lucky guess.

Sonny: Well, it don't matter, 'cause it's coming off soon anyway. Can I buy you a drink?

Martina: Scotch sounds good.

Carly: Why don't you go stay with your dad for a while?

Josslyn: You mean...leave you?

Carly: Just for a couple months, that's all.

Josslyn: You want me out of town when the divorce is happening.

Carly: I just want it to be an option for you. I know your dad would love to see you, and I don't know, I think maybe you could use a little distance.

Josslyn: No. I mean, I don't want you to be alone when there's nobody on your side.

Carly: I have Michael on my side. [Laughs]

Josslyn: He's a part of the neutral party. He already told me he just wants to negotiate a truce. But I don't. I want you to take Sonny for all he has.

Carly: Okay, that's what I don't want. I don't want that in your head. I don't want you even thinking that. Josslyn, I want you thinking about things and focusing on things that you love, like riding or surfing. And those are things that your dad loves, too. I don't want you thinking about my stuff.

Josslyn: Maybe I can spend a couple months during summer with him. But I want you to come with me. I mean, you like riding and surfing, too.

Carly: I can come out for a couple weeks. That's it. Honey, I'm not -- I'm not gonna be in Australia for an extended period of time. I can't do that.

Josslyn: But you and Dad...

Carly: We're not getting back together. Not right now, we're not.

Josslyn: Why not?

Carly: Because I'm not gonna do that to your dad, okay? I'm not gonna -- I'm not gonna use him a crutch. I'm not gonna use him to prop me up. That wouldn't be fair to Jax, and it wouldn't be fair to me, and it certainly wouldn't be fair to you.

Josslyn: Are you sure you're not staying here so you can make up with Sonny?

Carly: I'm not staying here so I can make up with Sonny, okay? Sonny and I are through. We're over. So, come on. Go upstairs and get all of your stuff out of my office, and let's get out of here, okay? Let's go home.

Josslyn: If things are really over between you and Sonny, why are you still wearing the ring?

Sonny: So, what brings you to the Haunted Star?

Martina: Well, I'm visiting from LA, and I don't know, I've always wanted to stay on a boat. My suite looks just like a stateroom. What about you? Do you live in Port Charles?

Sonny: For the moment. I have business interests in the Caribbean and South America.

Martina: Mm. Spend much time down there?

Sonny: The Caribbean. I love the beach.

[Both chuckle]

Martina: A man after my own heart. One of the reasons I settled in LA was 12 months a year of good weather and access to the beach.

Sonny: To warm water and white sands.

Martina: I'll drink to that.

Ava: Well, well. Look who's here. And he's not alone.

Martina: Do you surf?

Sonny: [Laughs] Uh, hell no.

Martina: [Laughs] Me neither.

Franco: The kind of detail that Jake put into that drawing -- it's pretty clear that -- that he's memorized it, right? That he's seen it somewhere before.

Elizabeth: So, did he see it on Cassadine Island?

Jason: That would be the obvious conclusion, but, uh, Helena's all about misdirection, so maybe this chimera has nothing to do with the island whatsoever.

Sam: Look, we're all worried about Jake, right? We all want answers, but considering what we have to go with, maybe we need to take a little break.

Elizabeth: Yeah. I agree. Let's -- let's get a good night's sleep, and maybe this will all make sense in the morning.

Jason: Yeah, maybe. Do you mind if I take that with me?

Elizabeth: No, take it.

Jason: Maybe something will pop out at us that we haven't seen yet.

Elizabeth: And we'll keep working on this picture, but I don't think any of us should question Jake. It'll only shut him down.

Jason: I agree. Hey, listen, Franco, whether I like it or not, Jake seems to think he has a connection with you.

Franco: He has for a long time now.

Jason: Do the right thing.

Franco: What was that all about?

Valentin: All right, your Uber should be here in a minute. I'm going to check the bait shop for some fresh ice for that ankle.

Anna: No, don't do that. I can ice it when I get home. Can you just stay with me, keep me company?

Valentin: All right, but keep your leg elevated.

Anna: I don't consider us mortal enemies.

Valentin: Good to know.

Anna: Don't do that. Don't shut me out.

Valentin: It's probably best for both of us, don't you think?

Anna: Fair enough. I'm the one in the wrong, so you get to make the rules. But for what it's worth, I'm -- I'm very -- I'm very grateful that you didn't seek revenge and turn The Chimera project over to the DVX.

Valentin: They weren't the only ones interested in The Chimera.

Anna: What do you mean? Did you give it to someone else?

Martina: I go to the beach to lie in the sun. If it gets too hot, I swim.

Sonny: Are you a strong swimmer?

Martina: Pretty strong. I actually used to body surf.

Sonny: Hmm. Not anymore?

Martina: No, not since I got pounded by a wave and when I stood up, my suit stayed in the water.

Sonny: [Chuckles] I wish I was there.

Martina: [Laughs] I bet.

Ava: Ugh. It didn't take Sonny long to get over that heartbreak. I think I'll go say "Hello."

Scott: No, no, no, no, no, no. You're not gonna go anywhere. I'm gonna go get the car, and you're gonna meet me out front.

Sonny: Well... uh, it was great chatting with you, but I got -- I got a -- I got -- I'm busy tomorrow.

Martina: Well, this one's on me.

Sonny: Oh, no, no, no. No, I -- it's already -- already been paid for.

Martina: Oh, well, thank you. Good night. [Clears throat]

Sonny: [Sighs]

Carly: [Sighs] Why am I still wearing my ring?

Josslyn: Ready?

Carly: Yeah, yeah.

Josslyn: Okay.

Valentin: Let's just say the WSB and the DVX weren't the only games in town.

Anna: Something must have stopped you, though, from selling The Chimera to the highest bidder.

Valentin: Don't be so sure.

Anna: Come on. I'm the one who set the whole thing in motion. If you took it further and you gave it to someone else, I need to know.

[Vehicle approaches]

Valentin: Car's here. Right on time.

Anna: You didn't answer my question.

Valentin: Time to go. Careful of that ankle.

Anna: Oh, it's fine. I got it. It's nice to see you're still wearing the watch I gave you.

Valentin: Yeah. Make sure you keep it elevated and put some fresh ice on it.

Anna: Oh, I'll be fine. What about you?

Valentin: I'm going home.

Sam: Okay, Danny and Scout are down for the count. We owe Kristina big time for dropping everything and coming over to babysit.

Jason: Yeah. Thank you for coming tonight. I know it's hard for you to be in the same room as Franco.

Sam: Jason, please, I would do anything for you. And -- and this is about Jake. Look, I don't -- I-I didn't want to say anything in front of Elizabeth, because I didn't want to frighten her, but whatever Helena did to Jake and whatever she did to you, I think it's all tied together.

Jason: Yeah, so do I. And this thing is the key.

Sam: Yeah. Well, it's a good place to start.

Jason: No, actually, Greece is the place to start. I've got to go back to Cassadine Island.

Franco: I-I-I'm not imagining things, right? Jason did actually just say that Jake and I had a connection, right? Those words, like -- they must -- he must've choked when they were coming out of his mouth.

Elizabeth: But he said them.

Franco: He can't take them back now.

Elizabeth: Well, he -- he could, but I don't think he will 'cause Jake is more important to Sam and Jason, and to you and me. I'm really glad I have you on my side.

Franco: Nowhere else I'd rather be.

Elizabeth: Come on, it's late. It's been a long day. Let's go to bed.

Franco: Hey, you know, I got something to say. When I was looking at The Chimera online, I saw something, and I decided to not tell you about it.

Elizabeth: Okay? What did you find?

Franco: Well, according to legend, when a chimera appears, it's a foreshadowing.

Elizabeth: Of what?

Franco: Disaster.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Nathan (to Maxie): I am so happy you are going to be here tomorrow.

Tracy (to Michael, Kiki, Dillon, Monica, Finn, & Hayden): I have an announcement to make.

Lucy (to Olivia & Dillon): The Nurses' Ball just sneaks up on me every single year.

Lulu (to Carly): Once you go down this road, Carly, you may never be able to come back from it.

Sonny (to Martina): You ready for this?
