Ava: Now, save some room for dessert. I know the mud pie here is your favorite.

Kiki: Oh!

Ava: We could split a piece.

Kiki: I would love to, but I have to get going soon. I have the night shift at the hospital.

Ava: Oh. I'm so proud of you.

Kiki: For turning down the chocolate?

Ava: [Laughing] No. For turning your life around after a hard time... ...starting a new career. You know, you could be a doctor. "Doctor Jerome" -- I like it. I definitely like the sound of that.

Kiki: Okay, I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself. Doctor's a pretty long stretch from nurse's aide.

Ava: Well, you can do it. You could do anything that you put your mind to. Hey, how 'bout the next time I take you out for dinner, we invite Dillon? I'd love to know more about this man that's making my daughter so happy.

Kiki: All right, I'll ask him.

Ava: Great!

Kiki: You know, you seem like you're in a really good mood. What, did you sell a painting the lottery?

Ava: Hey! I'm spending time with my daughter. Isn't that enough?

Kiki: I'm not complaining. I'm not. I'm happy to see you happy. I just know you were super shaken up after that robbery here.

Ava: Yes, that was quite an event, for sure.

Kiki: Yeah, I was surprised you wanted to eat here.

Ava: Oh, I'm not gonna let one bad experience chase me away from the best ribs in town.

Kiki: [Laughing] Hey, good for you. I just want to know what your secret is. What, is there, like, a magic pill or something?

Ava: Oh, no. No secret. In fact, there's no pill to help me... or harm me.

[Elevator bell dings]

Bobbie: Sonny?

Sonny: Hey, Bobbie.

Bobbie: Hey. you want to ignore the elephant in the room, or should we just address it and get it out of the way?

Sonny: Look, you got something to say, I want to hear it.

Bobbie: [Sighs] Having Jax arrested and then having him deported were the two worst mistakes you could possibly make. Carly is on the warpath, and you have no one to blame but yourself.

Michael: Okay, uh... how soon can the platform be ready? All right, now, okay. Is that a firm estimate? Or is that wishful thinking?

Carly: [Whispering] Psst, hi!

Michael: Um, well if they can agree to the date and the specs and the launch look good, then I think we should move forward. Yes. Run it past legal and CC me in the e-mail, all right? Talk to you soon. Hey!

Carly: Hey.

Michael: What brings you here?

Carly: Compliments from your sister.

Michael: Oh, Josslyn brings... beer and tacos?

Carly: [Chuckles] Well, when we were leaving the airport, she saw the truck and she knows how much you love it. So she wanted me to stop and pick it up for you. She also said to tell you that you're the only normal person in her family.

[Both chuckle]

Michael: So, uh... what were you and Josslyn doing at the airport? Is, um... is Jax leaving?

Carly: Yeah. Jax left, thanks to your father.

Nelle: You want me to spy for you?

Nina: Um, yeah. It's not as if you haven't done anything like this before.

Nelle: Look, I took the job as Charlotte's nanny to move on and put my mistakes behind me.

Nina: Yeah, turning over a new leaf.

Nelle: Exactly, yeah.

Nina: Yeah, yeah. That's great. Okay. But your job description has just expanded. I'm adding "covert surveillance" to your duties.

Nelle: Who exactly do you want me to spy on for you?

Nina: My husband.

Anna: Can I get you a drink?

Valentin: No, I'm not staying. I'm just coming to return this.

Anna: You're giving it back?

Valentin: Whatever there was between us, it's over.

Anna: No, no. Wait. Wait, please.

Valentin: I appreciate the gift, but it's unnecessary. You don't owe me anything.

Anna: Well, you're wrong. In a very real sense, I owe you my life.

Ava: So, tell me more about your job. You gonna have to work night often? That could get a little difficult.

Kiki: Honestly, I just have so much to learn. When I'm studying, it's really nice having all this practical experience to go with it.

Ava: You've really taken to this.

Kiki: Yes. Yes, when I'm at the hospital, I feel like I'm really doing something that matters.

Ava: Yeah -- I just hope that working there doesn't bring up any bad memories.

Kiki: I deliberately chose to work in the psych ward. I want to gain insight into what Morgan's demons were. I want to -- I want to help people who might be dealing with this same illness that took his life.

Ava: Okay. But it's not all work, right? I mean, no matter how noble that work is, you do need to have a little fun.

Kiki: [Chuckles] Don't worry. I'm not gonna become Mother Teresa. And it's not all work all the time. Like right now, we're all gearing up for the Nurses' Ball.

Ava: Oh! And so, are you -- you planning to perform with Dillon again? 'Cause I remember you and he were quite a hit last year.

Kiki: Mm, that's the second time you've brought up Dillon.

Ava: [Chuckles] Is it wrong for me to want you to be happy? And as I recall, you -- you told me that last year's Nurses' Ball was the first time that Dillon kissed you.

Kiki: Yeah. Yeah, it was also the first time Morgan got a pass out of Freedman. Came back to town, and saw me and Dillon together. I just think maybe if I could've explained things to him, then I could've told him --

Ava: Hey, hey, Kiki. Don't do that. Don't dwell on the what-ifs. Just think about the good things -- you and Dillon -- you made a fantastic duo and... and everything worked out.

Kiki: You mean... we should pretend Morgan never existed.

Sonny: Let's just say that Carly and I both have our reasons for being angry.

[Telephone rings in distance]

Bobbie: Yeah, but your anger doesn't only affect the two of you. It affects everyone else you have in common, starting with your kids. I'm sure you feel like Carly's failed you, and I know damn well you failed her. But it's not gonna do anyone any good for you to keep punishing each other. So, you know, why don't you just take a step back and remember that deep down, you and Carly love each other, and you're both grieving. Because whatever went wrong between the two of you, the real problem is... you've both lost Morgan.

Michael: Are you gonna tell me, or should I call Dad and get his version first?

Carly: Call Dad. I'd love to be on that call. There's no way your dad can justify what he did.

Michael: Yes! Which is, um... which is what, exactly?

Carly: Um, he turned Jax in to Customs and Immigration for a "crime of moral turpitude."

Michael: But there were no charges filed in connection with what happened to Nelle.

Carly: Doesn't matter. The implication alone allows Jax to be detained, so Jax had to cut a deal and promise he'll leave the United States immediately.

Michael: [Sighs] Till when?

Carly: Forever. Jax is no longer allowed back in this country. I mean, I had no idea your dad was this vindictive. I mean, seriously, I really underestimated your father.

Michael: Yeah, look, um... I'm not defending Dad here --

Carly: Don't defend him at all! You can't!

Michael: But all I'm saying -- all I'm saying is, Jax is not some helpless guy. He has money, he has influence, he has resources, he has access to a squadron of lawyers. Look, it'll take some time, but I think he'll reach an agreement soon and -- and be able to get back into the country.

Carly: Jax is Josslyn's father, okay? And if she wants to visit him now, she has to go all the way to Australia!

Michael: That's not true. That is not true. She can meet him in Mexico or Canada, anywhere that's not a U.S. territory.

Carly: I can't believe I'm hearing you say that. I mean, you're acting like this is no big deal.

Michael: Mom, Mom! It is -- it is a big deal. Look, hold on. Look, sit down. Look, it is a big deal, and what Dad did is inexcusable.

Carly: Yeah.

Michael: But -- but... the last thing you should be doing right now is trying to get back at him.

Carly: Okay.

Michael: Mom?!

Carly: I won't do anything to your father, okay? I won't do anything that he doesn't deserve.

Nelle: Wow! I... I thought you and Mr. Cassadine were totally solid. I mean, from the moment that I came to work here, I saw you guys not only as loving parents but as people who were crazy about one another.

Nina: Well, my husband's a very complicated man. He likes to keep secrets, and I just -- I need your help to stay informed -- that's all.

Nelle: [Sighs] Well, I will say it's hard to fake happiness. You know, what you three have... it's real. So I would say that whatever you think that might be going on, maybe just talk to your husband about it, you know? Because the worst thing that you could do would just be to... I'm sorry. I-I am in no place to give you advice.

Nina: No, no, go, go. What, what?

Nelle: The worst thing you could do would be to assume something and have it eat away at you, 'cause you'll wind up doing things that you'll always regret.

Griffin: André, hey! Hey, you got a minute?

André: Uh, barely. I'm expecting someone.

Griffin: Uh, this won't take long. I just need a quick word.

André: Come on in.

Griffin: Thank you.

André: Is this about a patient?

Griffin: Uh...yes and no. Anna Devane's both patient and friend, right?

André: I'd like to think so.

Griffin: And you're aware of her medical condition?

André: I know she's battling blood cancer.

Griffin: Mm-hmm.

André: My understanding is, as long as it's properly treated, she can live a relatively normal life.

Griffin: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Has she mentioned anything to you about the fact that she's receiving treatment outside of General Hospital?

André: She is?

Griffin: [Scoffs] So it's not just me, right? There is something odd about it. I mean, why would Anna go somewhere else for treatment when she has so many ties to General Hospital? Do you think she's hiding something?

Anna: The day I passed out in Wyndemere, I thought that you and I were enemies.

Valentin: So you broke into my home? Ironically, on Valentine's Day.

Anna: Regret is a very small word for how I feel about the way I treated you.

Valentin: Apology accepted. If there's nothing else --

Anna: Even so, you carried me in your arms to the hospital, which saved me from serious complications from the blood clot, and allowed the doctors to diagnose me with cancer.

Valentin: I'm sorry I couldn't diagnose the cancer myself, but what matters is, you're getting treatment.

Anna: Most of the time, I pretend I don't have it. But apparently, I'm not indestructible.

Valentin: You don't have to go through this alone. You have a daughter, you have colleagues, you have friends.

Anna: Mm. My illness has... been humbling, to say the least. But it's been a blessing, too, you know, because it's opened my eyes to my own imperfections.

Valentin: How so?

Anna: How blind I was... to the real you.

Valentin: Which me? The one you didn't want kissing you, or the one you slept with for classified information?

Anna: The other day, you were turned away from me, and I was staring at your back... ...knowing that it could've remained twisted. But you didn't let that happen. You endured all those operations, all that pain, so that you're the same on the outside as you've always been on the inside, which is tall... and straight... and strong.

Griffin: Look, I've -- I've tried to talk to Anna about her illness, but...

André: A wall goes up.

Griffin: Yeah. Yeah. It's like she...can't or won't talk about certain things, especially when it comes to Valentin. He has really shaken her to the core, it seems.

[Knock on door]

André: Come in.

Lucy: Yoo-hoo, hel-- oh, hi! Well, well, well. Wow, I feel so privileged to find not one, but two of Port Charles' most eligible bachelors.

André: Um

Griffin: [Chuckles] Not quite eligible or a bachelor.

Lucy: Oh, poo. Who splits hairs for a good cause, come on. I am here to ask you to both sign up to perform at the Nurses' Ball.

André: I promise you I will think about it.

Lucy: [Chuckling]

André: But if you don't mind, I'm expecting someone.

Lucy: Really? It's awfully late, isn't it?

André: Ah, well, you know, a doctor's work is never done.

Lucy: Well, but -- you're gonna think about it...

André: Shall we?

Lucy: ...Right, 'cause I'm gonna be calling you. It's such a worthy, worthy, worthy...

André: I will think about it.

Lucy: Okay, you're calling? I'm gonna bug you. I will bug you to death.

Griffin: Okay.

André: All right, I'm sure.

Lucy: All right, ta. Ta.

Griffin: Okay, all right. Good night, Lucy.

Lucy: No, no, no, no, no. Not so fast. I have not forgotten about you. I mean, how could I after... last year's performance was so yummy? No. No, no. Memorable -- it was!

Griffin: No, I'm sorry.

André: No, come on!

Griffin: No more Magic Milo for me.

[Cell phone chimes]

Lucy: Oh! Oh, darn it. Hey, you... y-you can keep your collar on!

Kiki: You know what? I better get headed to the hospital. I don't want to be late for my shift.

Ava: Kiki, wait! Come on. I never said we should forget Morgan! That's impossible, and I wouldn't want it even if it were possible. I just don't want you to be sad.

Kiki: Working at GH makes me happy. Can't you see that?

Ava: Yes. And I admire you for wanting to help people that are dealing with the same illness that Morgan dealt with. The truth is... ...I am in awe of you. [Hug] [Sighs]

Carly: So, when Jax asked me to leave the country with him, I almost said "Yes."

Michael: Why didn't you?

Carly: What are you talking about? I have my whole life here.

Michael: No, I know, I know. It's just I think that -- that taking some time away from Port Charles would do you and Josslyn a world of good.

Carly: I can't pull Josslyn out of school!

Michael: Josslyn's smart. You can get her a tutor, you know, go to Australia, right? And if you don't want to move too fast with Jax, get a -- get a house down the street from him or something.

Carly: Hmm.

Michael: And take things slow.

Carly: Really? As opposed to starting a war with your father?

Michael: Yes, Mom! Yes, exactly. Look, this... just because Dad is spiraling out of control does not mean that you have to, too. I think the best thing you can do for yourself right now is to take some time on a... another continent.

Carly: I can't do that. I can't leave you right now. I can't leave you, you know...

Michael: Why, when -- when I'm still in the same town as Nelle?

Carly: Why would you bring her name up? Why are you even thinking about her?

Michael: [Sighs]

Carly: You guys aren't... Michael! Not after I warned you about her?

Nina: Okay, you're right. [Sighs] Just -- this is between Valentin and myself, and getting other people involved is just gonna screw up the situation.

Nelle: Hmm. Well, I hope you guys can work it out.

Nina: I hope so, too. Um, anyway, listen. Why don't I make this up to you for all that spy nonsense? I just -- uh, since Charlotte is at a play date and sleepover, why don't we have a girls' night out?

Nelle: Oh.

Sonny: You see, something, uh... fundamental broke when Morgan died. Carly and I, we just have not been able to put the pieces back together.

Bobbie: Yeah, well, I know from my own experience what the death of a child can do to a marriage. It can be almost impossible to come to terms with [Inhales deeply] such a senseless loss.

Sonny: I'm not really interested in accepting what happened. I got a lot of questions, and I'm not gonna stop till I get the answers. As a matter of fact...

Lucy: Oh, Sonny! Hey! I am so glad I ran -- hi, Bobbie -- I ran into you. Listen, you know what time of year it is, and that means I know you want a table. I've already got that table all taken care of, but I need to finalize that additional sum that you always con-- oh.

Sonny: Is there -- is there something wrong?

Kiki: You for dinner, Mom.

Ava: I love spending time with you.

Kiki: Well, next time, it'll be on me. That is, if this whole nurse's-aide thing turns into something a little more permanent.

Ava: I know that you can be anything you want to be, including a smash hit at the Nurses' Ball.

Kiki: Oh, well, Mom.

Ava: [Laughing] What? Wouldn't it be nice to see both of our names in the program?

Kiki: What?

Ava: The name "Jerome" connected to something good?

Kiki: You're performing? You didn't tell me!

Ava: No! I'm not performing, but I will be in the program under major donors.

Kiki: Oh, that's awesome. Good for you.

Ava: Mm, me being good had very little to do with it. I was gonna donate an art piece. I do every year. But I really had no intention of parting with such an expensive antiquity. But Lucy Coe can be quite persuasive.

Ava: Lucy, is something wrong?

Lucy: [Thinking] What is the real story behind Morgan's pills? What did you do, Ava?

Ava: Lucy, I'm gonna tell you this one more time. Let it go.

Lucy: Hey, uh, you know what? It just occurred to me that maybe you -- you don't really want to go to the Nurses' Ball this year. I mean, in light... after what happened with Morgan, I just... look, if that's the case, and you don't want to go, I sincerely apologize for overstepping, because I just get carried away. You know me. You know I just get excited about...

Sonny: Morgan -- Morgan's middle name is Stone. That should give you an idea how important the Nurses' Ball is to me. So go ahead and give me my usual table and have my accountant send you an additional contribution.

Lucy: Thank you. Generous as ever.

Sonny: Now, I gotta go. I got an appointment, so if you'll excuse me.

Lucy: Oh, of course. Hey! Hey, um... could you just wait one second? There is... there's something I need to tell you.

Carly: Okay, I -- I need you to hear me when I tell you this. I understand Nelle in a way that you never will.

Michael: Why's that?

Carly: 'Cause she's a lot like I used to be. When I first came to Port Charles, one of the first people I met was Jason. And it didn't take me long to realize that he was the best thing that ever happened to me, up until that point, of course. I was a mess back then. I was. I lied, I sabotaged, I double-crossed people. And everyone hated me -- everyone except for Jason. And you would think that I would value that, and that I would do whatever it took to be good to the one person who accepted me and who didn't judge me. But I hurt him worst of all. You know, I got Jason to put his walls down, and I got him to love me, and I turned around, and I slept with his best friend.

Michael: Oh, okay. I don't need to hear that.

Carly: I know, I know. I just want you to know the reason I did that, though, was because I... I was a mess, and I couldn't get out of my own way. And the only way I could recognize love was to test it, and so I pushed and I pushed until I broke what Jason and I had. And in all these years, it's never been fixed. I mean, he's my dearest friend. He's my best friend in the whole world, you know that. But he's never fallen back in love with me, and he never will.

Michael: [Clears throat] What does this have to do with Nelle?

Carly: Because Nelle's exactly the same, Michael. She will destroy whatever she loves. She will, and she will test you and test you until she breaks your heart. And I can't let that happen. You know I can't!

Michael: Thanks for the take-out, Mom.

Carly: So basically, you're telling me you're gonna do whatever you want to do.

Michael: Oh, you know me so well.

Carly: I do, you're my kid.

Michael: I love you, Mom.

Carly: I love you, too.

Michael: I'll walk you out, okay?

Carly: No, no. I'll go. You clean up this. I don't want Tracy giving you a hard time, or...

Michael: All right, good night.

Carly: Hey. Just because you run a multi-national corporation... doesn't mean I'm ever gonna stop being your Mom.

Michael: I am glad to hear it. Night, Mom.

Valentin: It's late, I...

Anna: No! Just a glass of champagne, will you have one? Just one, before you go? I know you have to go.

Valentin: What's the occasion?

Anna: "I can't live without champagne. In victory, I deserve it. In defeat, I need it."

Valentin: Who can say "No" to Churchill?

Anna: [Laughing] Yes, very good. I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere, okay?

[Cell phone ringing]

Valentin: Nina, hi. Is something wrong?

Nina: No. I just miss you. Where are you? Valentin, are you okay?

Valentin: Yeah, I'm fine. Um... I'm sorry for neglecting you. My errand turned out to be a tiny bit more complicated than I thought.

Nina: No problem. Listen, I'm heading into town. Maybe we can meet.

[Ice clinking]

Valentin: Uh, I just want to go home, but I will wait up for you.

[Cork pops]

Anna: Ooh!

Nina: What's that?

[Glasses tinkling]

Valentin: Nina... all right...losing you.

Sonny: Lucy, I really have an appointment. Can this -- can it wait?

Lucy: [Sighs] Yeah. Yeah, sure, sure. Of course, I'll just simply get in touch with your accountant.

Sonny: Yeah.

Lucy: Okay.

André: Hello, Bobbie.

Sonny: Oh!

André: Ms. Coe, Sonny.

Sonny: I was just on my way to see you.

André: If you'll excuse us, ladies.

Lucy: Um, wh-why do you think Sonny would be meeting with Dr. Maddox?

Bobbie: Now, Lucy. You know that isn't any of our business.

Lucy: Right, I just hope everything's all right.

Bobbie: Yeah, well... how can it be all right? Sonny and Carly are both still trying to make sense out of Morgan's death. And Sonny just told me he's not gonna quit until he gets some answers.

Ava: Good night.

Kiki: Good night. I love you, Mom.

Ava: I love you.

Kiki: Oh, Dr. Munro, hi.

Griffin: Hi, Kiki, Ava.

Kiki: I'm actually just headed to the hospital right now, to start a shift.

Griffin: Oh, that's great. Yeah, I heard you were in the nurse's aide program. Where were you assigned?

Kiki: The psych ward. I'm really loving it.

Griffin: Yeah, well, we're lucky to have you.

Kiki: Yeah, well, you know, you saved my life after I was shot. I just -- I want to pay it forward. Well, I don't want to be late, so...bye.

Ava: Bye.

Kiki: Bye.

Ava: It's wonderful to see her excited about something again.

Griffin: Yeah, yeah, yeah. She, uh... she did something not a lot of people can do. She took the loss of a loved one and made it into something hopeful and positive. Uh... did I say something to upset you?

Ava: N-- no, no. It's not -- I was just thinking when Kiki was in the hospital after she was injured, um, I didn't realize that her surgeon was also a priest.

[Both chuckle]

Griffin: Yeah. Well, I... you know, I try not to advertise it. People tend to want to confess to me.

André: Morgan's lithium prescription?

Sonny: [Exhales sharply]

André: Carly couldn't find this after Morgan's death. I assumed he had them in the car with him that night.

Sonny: They turned up again. Cops discovered them after the armed robbery in The Floating Rib.

André: How did Morgan's pills get there?

Sonny: That's what I want to know, 'cause I ne-- I want to find out why they were there, who had them, 'cause maybe that could explain what caused his death.

André: W-- [Sighs] Well, I don't know -- I don't know how I can help you with that.

Sonny: Here's the thing. I need to know... why he went so out of control that he had to steal Julian's car and end up at the wrong place at the wrong time! These pills are the answer.

André: [Sighs]

Valentin: You know, on second thought, I'm gonna decline.

Anna: Oh no, come on, come on! Just one toast. Look, I've already opened the bottle. I can't possibly drink the whole thing myself. I mean, I can try, but [Laughs] So, there is nothing in here except for really, very expensive champagne, I promise you. Just take it, it's fine.

Valentin: If you insist.

Anna: I do. Um... why don't we say that toast? Remember the one that -- my favorite at the academy? Some drink for God and country...

Valentin: But we drink for us.

[Glasses clink]

Nelle: Nina?

Nina: Hmm?

Nelle: You've barely said anything since we left Spoon Island. Is there something bothering you?

[Elevator doors opening]

Nelle: I mean, do you want to talk about it?

Nina: Um...

Carly: Nina, I see that Nelle's still working for you. How's that working out? I only ask, while it's your decision who you employ as your nanny, I think you should know that Nelle is still making life pretty uncomfortable for people.

Nina: Everybody deserves a second chance.

Carly: What about the people Nelle hurt? Don't we deserve a chance to move on with our lives?

Nelle: Okay, you know what, Nina, let's just take a rain check on the girls' night out, all right? I'll just pick up Charlotte tomorrow morning, okay?

Nina: No, no, no, don't -- don't let Carly chase you away.

Carly: No, you're right -- don't. It's pretty clear that Nelle hasn't told you everything that happened with my family.

Anna: Just another toast, right? Just another one.

Valentin: Uh...

Anna: But this time, not to the past, but to the future. Wherever it takes us.

Valentin: I think you might want to go easy. You are on blood thinners, after all.

Anna: [Gulps] Right. Thank you... for being worried. Especially after the way I've treated you.

Valentin: I think that's best left in the past.

Anna: Maybe we could think about tonight... as a new beginning?

Valentin: Good night.

Anna: Oh, wait. Hold on.

[Glasses clattering]

Anna: You forgot this.

André: Well, I can confirm. This number of pills is consistent with Morgan taking his meds every day.

Sonny: Just like he wrote in his -- his diary?

André: Yes. Carly showed me that after his funeral. [Sighs]

Sonny: You know, Morgan, he's the type that would lie to everybody, but he's not gonna lie in his own diary.

André: No, and I kept asking myself if... Morgan could've been taking something else. Something that wasn't prescribed. Something that could've reacted badly with all of his meds.

Sonny: Maybe, but without an autopsy, I just keep coming back to the pills.

André: But...[Sighs] They're lithium tablets. Standard prescription for --

Sonny: Oh, I know, 'cause I'm, you know -- [Chuckles] I take the same thing. Right. What if the pharmaceutical company screwed up?

André: Well, the odds of something like that happening are --

Sonny: I don't want to hear odds. I just -- I don't... I don't want to know what could've happened. I just... [Voice breaking] Just want to know why my son died.

Ava: You can take the night off. [Chuckles softly] I have nothing to confess. Not that I haven't made mistakes, you know. Nobody's perfect. Right?

Griffin: Well, I can only speak for myself, but I'm no angel.

Ava: I'm sure you're a hell of a lot closer than I am. I imagine that you've heard things about me... about my past. Terrible things. And to be honest with you, you know, most of it is probably true. But it's not like I... I don't have a chance at redemption, right? You would know. There's no [Chuckles] There's no sin so great that it can't be forgiven. Isn't that right?

Griffin: Yeah. Yeah, if there was, I'd be out of the job. One of them, anyway. Look...Ava, is there something you want to say to me?

Lucy: So, what did, uh... Sonny actually say? I mean, when he said "get answers," like, exactly what sort? What type of answers was he talking about?

Bobbie: Lucy, Lucy. Why are you so interested? Is this just entertainment for you? I mean, come on. I thought you said you changed. I thought you said that... you weren't gonna get all excited over other people's misery anymore. Isn't it enough for you? My grandson is dead. And my daughter's marriage has just crashed and burned.

Lucy: Wait, wait, wait. I-I feel horrible that your family lost Morgan. I am not in any way, shape, or form, getting pleasure out of this tragedy. I [Inhales deeply] I-I just would love to find some way to help.

Bobbie: Well, how you gonna do that? You got some magic wand you're gonna wave, and it's all gonna be better?

Lucy: What if I did?

[Elevator bell dings]

Kiki: [Gasps] Lucy.

Lucy: Hey.

Kiki: Hey. [Chuckles nervously] My mom told me that you twisted her arm until she agreed to donate a Greek antiquity for the Nurses' Ball auction, from a Radcliff Peabody dig?

Bobbie: Radcliff Peabody.

Kiki: He was a Victorian archaeologist. Actually, he did some of the very first excavations of Ephesus, so these pieces, they have a clear providence. They're extremely valuable.

Bobbie: Good "get," Luc. What's your secret?

Lucy: Um, no secret. No secret at all. I just... I want everyone to focus on the Nurses' Ball and all the good we can do.

Ava: This is hardly the place, right? You probably came here for ribs. Not to hear someone bare her soul.

Griffin: We don't need a church to talk. I'm sure there's been just as many heart-to-hearts on barstools as there have been in confessions.

Ava: [Chuckles] Yeah, I imagine that's true. There is one thing that I've been meaning to ask you since you came in.

Griffin: Yes?

Ava: Can I buy you a drink? Or is that [Laughs] Is that against your religion?

Griffin: No, as long as you leave off the vermouth.

Ava: All right. Okay, in that case... can we have two martinis, extra dry? Just wave the bottle of vermouth over the glasses, please. Will that suit you, Doctor? [Chuckles]

Griffin: I'm off duty, Ava. Why don't you call me Griffin?

Ava: Oh, okay. Just Griffin.

Griffin: Just Griffin.

Sonny: Thanks for your help. Tomorrow, I'll send Morgan's pills to that... independent lab you recommended.

André: I'm sure the results will confirm that the lithium tablets weren't tampered with, but if it'll give you peace of mind, you should do it.

Sonny: I think peace is asking too much. I'll settle for justice.

André: Let me know.

Kiki: Morgan's pills.

Michael: Subject to independent inspection. Then we pass. Yes, yes, I'm sure. I don't want to get caught in a bidding war. [Exhales sharply] Sometimes, you have to cut your losses. [Exhales sharply]

Carly: At the time that you hired Nelle, she hadn't made a full disclosure to us -- or, I'm guessing, you, too.

Nina: Disclosure of what?

Carly: Well, as it happens, Nelle never actually slept with Sonny. No, she drugged him. She drugged him to get him into bed, and then she lied and said she slept with him. Proceed at your own risk.

Valentin: Anna, I can't take that watch.

Anna: Okay. I guess that card that I put with it was just wishful thinking, then.

Valentin: Time heals all wounds.

Anna: Now more than ever, I need to feel that something that is irreparably broken can be fixed.

Valentin: If it means that much to you.

Anna: Thank you. Looks really nice on you.

Valentin: Good night, Anna.

Anna: Good night.

Valentin: [Exhales sharply]

Anna: [Sighs]

Nelle: Look, you don't even have to say anything, all right? Just tell Charlotte "bye."

Nina: No, no, no. Stop. Stop. Stop.

Nelle: There's nothing you can say to me that I haven't said to myself already, right? So just let me go, all right? And I'll... I-I know I'm not wanted here.

Nina: You're wrong. I'd like to take full advantage of your extracurricular talents. [Whispering] You're gonna spy on Valentin for me. Okay? And knowing my husband, you'd better be damn good at it.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Elizabeth (to Franco): I hope Jason does not tell Jake.

Jake: What do you want?

Sam: It all comes back to haunt him.

Jason: And if it doesn't?

Tracy (to Dillon): Do you think I'm a bad person?

Laura (to Monica): I have faith that she will do the right thing.

Kiki (to Samira): We need to get you out of here stat.

Diane (to Sonny): I just came to give you a heads up.

Carly (to Alexis): Do you want to represent me in my divorce from Sonny?
