Ned: Are you sure you're ready to do this?
Olivia: [Sighs] I am ready.
Ned: You don't have to do this alone.
Olivia: I won't be alone. You'll be with me in spirit.
Ned: You're just saying that to make me feel better.
Olivia: Well, I figure that now that we're engaged, I better let you think that I need you.
Ned: [Chuckling] And don't you forget it.
Olivia: [Chuckles] Okay. I'll let you know how it goes.
Ned: You'll be fine.
Ned: Has Immigration been back looking for you?
Samira: No, thank goodness.
Ned: Samira, we can only cover for you for so long.
Samira: It would be best if I return to Turkey with the painting immediately.
Ned: My mother might not agree.
Tracy: Finn, where are you? I have searched all over this hospital, and you are nowhere. I need the results of that DNA test now!
Laura: What DNA test?
Jason: And that's a picture of your mom when we first met. She looks exactly the same, doesn't she?
Jason: You recognize your mom from back then, but, um... ...do you recognize this picture? Hey, look -- it's okay. There's no-- nothing to be afraid of. Actually, this is a picture of me... before my accident. Do you remember when I used to look like this?
Jake: I remember.
Carly: You want Joss and me to come to Australia?
Jax: I want you to move there -- to live.
Carly: With you?
Jax: We can finally be a family. Come with me -- today.
Jordan: Take the prisoner back to his cell. Alexis, what is going on? I mean -- did Julian threaten you?
Alexis: No, we were just surprised to see each other, that's all.
Jordan: Okay. A-as long as you're okay.
Alexis: I'm fine.
Jordan: You sure?
Alexis: I'm fine.
Diane: Oh, I hope I'm not too late. I just now got Sam's message. I had no idea you were planning on making your statement today. Fortunately, I was able to clear my calendar.
Jordan: You just missed Julian.
Diane: Julian Jerome was here in close proximity to my client?
Jordan: Your client is fine, okay? Now, if you are ready, let's do this right here. Right this way.
Diane: I'd actually like a few moments to confer with my client in private. We haven't had a chance to speak yet.
Alexis: Uh, actually, that won't be necessary. I'd really just like to get this over with.
Jordan: I'm not even sure why you're here, Ms. Miller.
Diane: Hmm. That would be protecting the interests of my client.
Jordan: Why? She's not under arrest. She's not even under suspicion. All she's doing is giving a statement.
Diane: Hence her right to have her counsel present.
Jordan: Look... we just want to know what happened, okay? And given that the alleged crime happened just last night, it is wise to get all the details while they are still fresh. That is, of course, if Ms. Davis is willing to cooperate.
Diane: What are you insinuating, Commissioner?
Jordan: Not a thing, Ms. Miller.
Diane: Good, because my client is here of her own volition, ready and willing to give a statement, despite the fact that she just encountered the man who tried to kill her only recently, and the man who less than 24 hours ago abducted her. I got to tell you something, the security around here is very lax.
Jordan: Alexis, do you want to come back another time?
Alexis: No, I'm fine. I just want to get started.
Diane: [Inhales sharply]
Jordan: This is Commissioner Jordan Ashford taking the statement of Alexis Davis regarding the abduction by Julian Jerome. Also present is Ms. Davis' attorney, Ms. Diane Miller. Ms. Davis, are you ready?
Alexis: I am.
Jordan: Then let's begin. Were you at Pier 54 last night between the hours of 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.?
Alexis: I was.
Jordan: Do you recognize this scarf?
Alexis: It's mine.
Jordan: For the record, this scarf was found around 10:00 p.m. by Ms. Davis' daughter and son-in-law. Did you have this scarf with you last night?
Jordan: And was this scarf found at the location of Pier 54 and also the same location where Julian kidnapped you?
Diane: Alexis? Alexis, Julian did kidnap you, correct?
Alexis: No, he didn't.
Samira: Have you seen Tracy?
Ned: Now that you mention it, no, I haven't. Why?
Samira: This morning, she had cooked two -- prepare a very large breakfast for me, then tried to convince me to eat it.
Ned: Well, it is the most important meal of the day.
Samira: And now she's nowhere to be found. Do you think she's avoiding me for some reason?
Tracy: Laura, what are you doing here?
Laura: I was here for a board meeting. Odd that you weren't.
Tracy: Yeah, well, I can't be everywhere. And, uh, could you do me a favor and stop sneaking up on me? You gave me a heart attack.
Laura: You're right. I'm sorry. What DNA test?
Laura: Does this have something to do with Samira? All right, all right, all right! I'm sorry.
Tracy: Yes, it has something to do with Samira. Look, before I tell you anything, I have to swear you to secrecy.
Laura: Fine. I-I swear on the heads of my children and my grandchildren. I won't say anything in whole or in part about anything that you're about to tell me right now. How's that?
Tracy: Adequate. Okay, here's the deal -- [Clears throat, inhales deeply] Samira brought me my father's journal from 1989 to 1990 and his signet ring, which she says he gave to her mother, because they were friends. That coupled with the fact that Samira has these... incredible blue eyes, which is very unusual in Turkey --
Laura: [Gasps] So, you think --
Tracy: You get it -- no need to say it out loud.
Laura: You think Edward could be Samira's father?
Tracy: Go ahead -- knock yourself out.
Laura: Wow. So, she could be your sister.
Laura: Oh, my God. What does Samira think about all this?
Laura: Does she know about this DNA test?
Tracy: No, no. I took a, um, a glass that she drank out of and my father's grooming kit that had some of his hair in it to Dr. Finn to run the DNA test, and I'm waiting to hear back.
Laura: Tracy, I don't think you should be going behind her back to this test.
Tracy: I don't want to get her hopes up. I'm doing it to protect her.
Tracy: [Scoffs] The more I think about it, the more I realize it's a pretty remote idea that she is, in fact, my father's illegitimate Turkish daughter, and Finn will confirm that. And then I can put my ridiculous speculation behind me, and we can all move on with our lives.
Laura: For someone who insists that this all about to be over and there's no way she could be your sister, you seem, uh, really nervous.
Elizabeth: Honey, this isn't the first time we've shown you this picture of your dad.
Jake: I know.
Elizabeth: But it never bothered you before that your dad has a different face.
Jason: So why does it bother you now?
Jake: It doesn't.
Jason: Listen. You can tell us, okay?
Elizabeth: You can tell us anything. You're safe here.
Jake: It bothers me because...
Jason: Because why?
Jake: Because of the witch.
Jax: I sent Joss to the stables because I didn't think it would be fair to hash this out in front of her.
Carly: Well, you know, um, I can't go, Jax.
Jax: Why not? [Sighs] Come on, Carly. I have to leave in an hour. My plane is being fueled as we speak. It's -- go upstairs, pack a bag for you and Josslyn for a few days, and you can send for the rest of your clothes --
Carly: I-I know I can do all that, it's just everything's -- it's just so sudden, you know? It's just --
Jax: Well, yeah, thanks to Sonny, we don't really have a choice.
Carly: [Sighs] I know. I can't believe that he called Immigration on you. I'm so sorry.
Jax: Well, maybe I should send him a thank-you note, because him pushing the issue has done us both a favor.
Carly: A favor?
Jax: Yeah. [Sniffles] Maybe it's -- maybe it's fate's way of telling us that it's our time, and we can finally be together, for keeps.
Carly: Jax --
Jax: I still love you.
Carly: I love you, too.
Jax: As a friend, yes, as Josslyn's father, yes, but the way you used to? May-- maybe -- I don't know. Maybe that's closer to the surface than you think.
Carly: It's just so... complicated. I mean, hell, it was complicated before Sonny had you permanently deported. It's just --
Jax: I know, I know, I know -- we've had a lot of problems, okay?
Jax: I'm sure when things settle down, you will remember all the reasons -- all the reasons why I'm, you know, to blame for this mess.
Carly: No, no -- I know who is to blame for all of this mess.
Jax: Hey, come here. Yeah. Sit down. W-we made a lot of messes, okay? And, uh -- and we got through it, and we've always been there for each other. But we live halfway around the world from one another, yet we still mange to always end up in each other's orbit.
Carly: That's because of our daughter.
Jax: Well, she's part of the reason, but it's because we're connected, Carly. And if you'll forgive my arrogance for saying so --
Carly: I always have before.
Jax: We bring out the best in each other. We make way more sense when we're together. And if we spend our lives together...
Carly: Our lives together?
Jax: Yeah. Wow. That life can be greater than anything we have spent apart. So come on -- say yes, you will come with me today. After everything that's happened with Morgan, maybe the best thing for you and Joss is to leave Port Charles.
Jax: I say definitely.
Carly: I mean, putting Port Charles in the rear-view mirror for a while... it sounds tempting. Yeah.
Carly: But Joss isn't my only family, you know?
Jax: Well, Michael can visit. You know, we'll visit -- I'm sure he'll visit a lot. You can Skype...
Carly: I-I don't mean just...
Jax: ...And you can go visit him as many times as --
Carly: ...Michael. I-I don't mean just Michael. I mean Morgan, you know? I feel close to Morgan in Port Charles.
Carly: I mean, it does help when everywhere I look is a memory. And when I go to his grave, I-I know that... uh, the coffin's empty, but there's a marker there. And it really helps me to talk to him. I-it's comforting.
Jax: I know what a wonderful mother you were to Morgan, but you will take him and all of your memories of him wherever you go. It doesn't matter if you're here or in Australia or on the moon, even. Your -- your connection to Morgan -- you can -- you can never break that.
Carly: It's not the same.
Tracy: Don't be ridiculous. Why would I be nervous?
Laura: [Sighs] After a lifetime of wondering, you just found out that your father really does love you, you know? He left you that beautiful letter and a painting, and then Samira shows up and she wants you to give the painting to her. And I know that your reasons for not giving it to her are -- are -- are personal, and they're also ethical --
Tracy: Would you stop trying to shrink me? Just because you're dating a psychiatrist does not mean you can get into my head.
Laura: I was trying to help.
Tracy: It's not helpful. And I can't wait for Finn. I have to get back to the house.
Laura: I'll go with you.
Tracy: No, thanks. It's okay. I can handle this on my own.
Laura: I picked up a dress for Samira when I saw how little she came with --
Tracy: [Laughing] Oh, aren't you thoughtful? So, do you want to pick up a stray kitten in the rain on the way home? Come on, let's go -- and don't forget.
Laura: I won't say a word to anyone. We don't really know anything yet.
Tracy: And nothing's gonna come of this?
Laura: Until it does, I think you have to prepare yourself for the possibility that you might have a sister.
Tracy: Half-sister -- half-sister!
Ned: All I know for sure is my mother will be back eventually.
Samira: Do you think she'll still refuse me the painting?
Ned: [Sighs] Honestly, I'm afraid she's made up her mind.
Samira: Then how do I change it? How do I save Sidika?
Ned: Sidika is your daughter?
Samira: Yes. [Sighs] This is Sidika. She means everything to me.
Ned: Of course, she does. And she needs me. A child needs a parent, always.
[Cell door opens]
Julian: Let me guess -- you came all the way here to gloat.
Olivia: Actually, I came to tell you something. Ned and I got engaged.
Julian: Well, I'm happy for you both, really.
Olivia: Really? You're happy for me and Ned?
Julian: Well, within reason. And I'm savvy enough to know you didn't just come all the way over here to tell me this.
Olivia: Well, actually I did... because what Ned and I have decided... affects you, as well.
Diane: Commissioner, my client is obviously confused. After all, Julian Jerome has already admitted to kidnapping her last night. In fact, he admitted it to the police when they caught him on scene.
Jordan: And now we are getting the victim's point of view...
Diane: Right, okay.
Jordan: ...Assuming there's even a crime.
Diane: I must insist -- I do need a moment alone with my client.
Jordan: No, because if she was, in fact, arrested, then certainly, but she is not. So, I think we should clear all this up as quickly as possible. Alexis, did you encounter Julian Jerome at Pier 54 last night?
Jordan: Did you arrange to meet him there?
Diane: Okay, thank heaven for small favors.
Jordan: Who arrived first?
Alexis: I don't know. I thought I was alone, I heard a noise, I turned around, and it was Julian.
Jordan: And he approached you?
Jordan: And then... you left with him?
Jordan: Of your own free will?
Jordan: So... to be clear, you voluntarily left with Julian Jerome to the motel room where he was hiding out.
Alexis: Yes. I must have dropped the scarf when I left the docks, but there was no struggle.
Jordan: How long were you alone with him?
Alexis: Until Sam, Jason, and the police arrived.
Jordan: Didn't Julian once try to kill you at that very same pier?
Alexis: Yes. [Clears throat] He once took me there against my will, and he threatened me with a knife.
Jordan: Then why would you go voluntarily with him if he had done that to you?
Alexis: Because I was trying to convince him to turn himself in.
Diane: Absolutely. Of course. That's the only explanation that makes any sense given Julian's history of intimidation and violence.
Jordan: I want to hear this from Alexis, okay? Go ahead.
Alexis: There really isn't much more to tell. I was trying to convince him to turn himself in, and I hadn't made much headway before the police showed up.
Jordan: So, you were at the motel for roughly, what, an hour from the time that you left the pier and the time that you were discovered, give or take some travel time, and you're telling me that you spent an hour trying to convince your ex-husband, who tried to kill you, to turn himself in?
Alexis: Well, he wasn't really keen on the idea, so it took some time.
Jordan: Huh. Something's not right. There's something that you are not telling me, Alexis.
Alexis: [Sighs] Yes. There is. When the police took Julian into custody, there was some confusion as to why I was there.
Alexis: One of the police officers had the impression that I was Julian's accomplice.
Jordan: That's not an entirely un-unreasonable assumption.
Diane: I beg to differ.
Alexis: Julian was worried that I would get into trouble, so he said that I was his hostage.
Jordan: How do we know that you weren't?
Alexis: Because if he had taken me as his hostage, I would tell you that. I am telling you that he did not. Now, you can believe me or you can not believe me. I don't even care at this point. It was Julian's idea to say that I was his hostage. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision.
Jordan: If he didn't abduct you, then why did you wait to tell us?
Alexis: Because everything was happening so quickly. They handcuffed him, threw him into a car, they threw me into a car, escorted me home. I'm telling you for the record right now -- Julian Jerome did not abduct me last night.
Jordan: I need a minute, and I will make some notes and pass this on to DA Garcia.
Alexis: May I just ask you one question?
Alexis: Since the kidnapping charges against Julian will probably be dropped... is the case against him still as strong as it was before?
Julian: So, how does you and Ned getting married affect me?
Olivia: Well... this is about you and Leo, as well. From what I can gather, you're gonna be in prison for a very, very long time. Leo is not gonna know you.
Julian: Of course, he is, because you're gonna bring him to visit.
Olivia: No. I won't.
Julian: I see. I see. So, you want Ned to, uh... [Scoffs] You want -- [Chuckles]
Olivia: Yes. I want Ned to adopt Leo.
Julian: No. Absolutely not.
Ned: She looks a lot like you --same beautiful blue eyes.
Samira: Sidika's more beautiful and so bright. When she was small, I used to sing an old hymn to her in English. She picked it up just as quickly as she learned Turkish songs and rhymes. [Singing] We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing he hastens and chastens his will
Laura: What's wrong?
Carly: Gosh -- one of the reasons I'm concerned with leaving Port Charles is because of the Nelle situation, Jax.
Jax: What about Nelle?
Carly: The only reason she's sticking around town is to get her claws into Michael.
Jax: Oh, come on. Michael is a grown man. He can take care of himself.
Carly: Michael is too nice. Look, I-I don't understand it because he's my son, and Sonny and Jason helped me raise them, and all Michael does is run around town trusting people, so I don't even know how that happened.
Jax: Oh, maybe it's his form of rebellion.
Carly: It makes him an easy target for Nelle!
Jax: All right, let's just say that she's only in town to hurt him. How would you staying in Port Charles be an advantage?
Carly: Because I would be able to get into his face about it.
Jax: Oh, really?
Jax: Which would probably only drive him into her arms.
Carly: So, being halfway around the world is better?
Jax: Yeah. There's a 12-hour time difference, so you could call him when he's really sleepy and guilt him into listening to you.
Carly: What if he gets back together with her?
Jax: You staying in Port Charles is not gonna influence him.
Jax: Either way, all right, he's either gonna forgive her or he's not gonna forgive her. It's up to him and him only. You cannot dictate his life, no matter where in the world you are. I think there is a part of you that wants to go with me, but there's one thing stopping you, and it's not the hotel or family or Morgan, even.
Carly: Then what?
Jax: It's the one person that we haven't talked about -- Sonny.
Elizabeth: So what was you favorite thing you did in school today?
Jason: [Chuckles] A man after my own heart.
Elizabeth: Yes, recess was my favorite subject, too. So do you want to tell us about this witch?
Jake: I don't want to talk about that.
Jason: You know what? That's okay. [Clears throat] That's fair enough. But can I tell you something? No witch is gonna hurt you. You're safe here with your mom, and you're safe with me. Do you understand that?
Jake: Yeah. Can I go to my room?
Elizabeth: Yeah. Go ahead.
Elizabeth: So, what made you think to take out this picture?
Jason: That's how I looked when I worked for Helena.
Jordan: I can't comment on the case against Julian.
Diane: Right, well, since there are no further comments my client needs to make regarding the events of last night, she's free to go, yes?
Jordan: Well, I'm sorry, but your client's comments just cut a very fine and rather suspicious line.
Diane: Oh, Commissioner, I certainly hope you're not insinuating that my client in any way aided and abetted Mr. Jer--
Jordan: Your client has a very long and complicated history with Julian Jerome. Alexis, I really hope that you are not obstructing justice right now.
Alexis: I'm not.
[Cell phone ringing]
Jordan: I need to go and deal with all of this. Ms. Miller, you're free to have your moment with your client.
Diane: Gosh, thanks!
Jordan: Alexis, do yourself a favor -- listen to your attorney. I actually think Diane's trying to save you from yourself now.
Julian: Why are you doing this, Olivia?
[Buzzer in distance]
Julian: You want our son to forget about me?
Olivia: Julian, our son is about to turn 2, and when you "died" on that bridge, you hadn't seen him in months, so no one has to do a damn thing to get Leo to forget you.
Olivia: You're doing a fine job of that all on your own.
Julian: He needs to get to know me again, Olivia. It's as simple as that.
Olivia: I'm sorry, but really, what for? So that he can be reminded every day that his father is a bad man who does bad things and he got sent away for it? Huh? I mean, you -- you keep insisting that you love our son --
Julian: I do.
Olivia: Well, then -- well, then do what's best for him. Let Ned and I raise him in a home where he can be proud of himself and not ashamed of where he comes from.
Julian: You really don't pull any punches, do you?
Olivia: No, I do not -- not where it comes to my kids. Please -- please. You say you love our son. Letting Ned adopt Leo would be the greatest gift you could give your son from behind these bars.
Samira: Tracy, you've returned.
Tracy: I was only gone a couple of hours.
Ned: Samira, that song that you were just singing -- it's an old hymn called "We Gather Together." Our family always sings it at Thanksgiving -- my grandfather insisted.
Tracy: Yes, it's a lovely hymn. I'm sure it's popular all over the world.
Samira: N-not so much in Turkey.
Ned: Well, then, how do you know it?
Samira: My mother taught me.
Laura: And where did she learn it?
Tracy: From the monks, obviously. It's a hymn, isn't it?
Samira: Actually, it wasn't --
Tracy: Look, I -- you know, I could stand around and talk about music all day long.
Ned: You could?
Tracy: But we have more important things to discuss.
Samira: Does this mean you've reconsidered about the painting?
Tracy: No, it does not mean I've reconsidered. I am keeping it.
Ned: Okay, Mother, um, can I have a word with you outside? It's important.
Tracy: Oh, okay. Excuse us.
Laura: I'm sorry.
Ned: So, we have another problem, and, um, it has nothing to do with the painting.
Jason: I don't remember anything from that night that I was shot on the pier until I woke up almost two years later.
Elizabeth: We know Helena was controlling you.
Jason: Yeah. The man with this face did anything Helena ordered him to do. I did anything Helena ordered me to do. And she lived on Cassadine Island at that time. I imagine I did, also.
Elizabeth: And Jake was there.
Jason: Yeah. I think Jake saw me with Helena when I looked like this... and I think that's why he's afraid.
Carly: Sonny does not control or dictate what I do!
Jax: Yeah, but you're staying here for him.
Carly: Because I just declared war on that son of a bitch! I'm not running now!
Jax: Why not? You stay here and you fight a war -- that means he's important.
Jax: It'd only feed his ego, Carly, but if you live your life far away from him... you prove to him that he no longer matters. And that, Carly, is victory.
Carly: That's not good enough.
Jax: No, not after what he did to you. No, you don't need to fight my battles for me, especially with Sonny.
Carly: Then I'll fight the battle for me and what Sonny did to my life, okay? Because he's not getting away with it!
Jax: Do you hear yourself? Instead of going away with me and giving yourself a real shot at happiness, you would rather stay here and fight... and fight Sonny, because he's still in your blood, and he always will be.
Laura: Come on, now -- nothing is ever hopeless. If Tracy won't give you the painting, then we'll find another way to save your daughter.
Samira: Thank you for saying so.
Laura: In the meantime... I picked this up for you. [Unzips bag] I noticed that you didn't really bring that much along with you. I hope you like it.
Samira: Thank you. It's...lovely. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll be in this country long enough to wear it.
Ned: An official from Immigration and Customs Enforcement showed up this morning looking for Samira. Now, Monica managed to get rid of them, but they'll be back now with a warrant.
Tracy: Now I know exactly how to help Samira.
Diane: As your BFF and your attorney, I have to ask -- what the hell is the matter with you?
Alexis: I told the truth.
Diane: No -- a selective version.
Alexis: Well, I said what was relevant.
Diane: Fine. Right. Aiding and abetting is one thing. Aid and comfort -- that's a whole different ball game, as it were.
Alexis: Julian and I --
Diane: [Stammers] For once, I do not want to hear the sordid details. I am simply going to remind you of the potential consequences. Number one... the commissioner may want to question you again, and she would be well within her rights to do so, because the version you just told painted you and Julian as some sort of saint.
Alexis: Well, that's taking it a little --
Diane: All right, fine. At least it came off like neither of you did anything wrong!
Alexis: We didn't.
Diane: Well, the bar review committee may not see it that way.
Alexis: They're gonna condemn me for telling the truth?
Diane: They might interpret your actions as protecting a known criminal, which, I might add, is what got you suspended in the first place. Honey, you could lose -- you could lose your license to practice law permanently forever. Is Julian Jerome really worth that?
Elizabeth: What do you think Jake could have witnessed between you and Helena?
Jason: I can't explain anything that happened during that time, but Helena was able to force me to break Faison out of police custody, plant a bomb on the Haunted Star, and I wasn't even under her complete control at the time. On that island, she could have ordered me to do anything, no matter how brutal, and I would have done it.
Elizabeth: And Jake could have seen it.
Jax: Hey, if I'm wrong --
Carly: You're wrong.
Carly: You are wrong.
Jax: Then prove it. Go upstairs, pack a bag for you and Josslyn, we can pick her up at the stables, go to the airport, and we can live the rest of our lives in Australia together. Come on. Just do it. Come on.
Carly: It's just... not the right time, Jax. I-- I'm sorry.
Jax: No, no, no, no. You don't -- you don't need to apologize to me. I love you, and I know that you love me in your own way.
Carly: I -- hey, look at me.
Carly: I do.
Jax: I know, but it's -- it's not enough. It's not enough, and, uh, you know, I have to go, and you want to stay here and be near Sonny.
Carly: That's not true!
Carly: I told you. I'm not getting back together with Sonny. I'm not going to forgive him, okay?
Jax: Maybe you will, maybe you won't -- I d-- I don't know. But Sonny is at the epicenter of everything, and that -- that breaks my heart because -- because Sonny's no good. He's no good for you, okay? He's gonna end up destroying you because he can't help himself.
Olivia: Julian, I know this must hurt, and that is honestly not my intention. I just want what's best for our son.
Julian: Yeah, I know. So do I.
Olivia: Well, good. Then think it over, please, because you are going to be in prison for a very, very long time, and honestly, Julian, even if you do get out someday, who is gonna be left for you in Port Charles?
Alexis: As far as the bar is concerned, I'll just have to cross those bridges when they come to me.
Diane: Fine. Just make sure you don't burn them as you scamper across.
Alexis: You're right, you know.
Diane: Of course, I am. What was I right about?
Alexis: He didn't kidnap me, so those charges aren't gonna stick.
Diane: Okay. And?
Alexis: Do you think those kidnapping charges are a fail-safe in case they can't get him on being an accomplice for Olivia's crimes?
Diane: They may very well be. But even if there is a perversion of jurisprudence and Julian Jerome walks away scot-free, how do you think that's going to change things for you?
Tracy: Samira, Ned just told me you had a visit from ICE today. That must have been terrifying.
Samira: Yes, but Monica sent them away.
Tracy: Good, but even Monica can't hold off federal agents forever, so there's only one thing we can do.
Ned: Will this help Samira get her daughter back?
Tracy: Um, in the long run, I think so.
Laura: And in the short run?
Tracy: I need to get you out of the country now.
Jason: Do you think Jake saw Helena do something to me?
Elizabeth: Or could it have been something she made you do to someone else?
Jason: Or maybe our son is afraid of the way I used to look because back then, I, uh...
Elizabeth: You what?
Jason: Maybe I did something terrible to Jake.
Carly: You know me, Jax. I will never let Sonny destroy me.
Jax: I hope that's true.
Carly: I just need some time to process everything, you know? I just need to think, and then Josslyn and I will come visit. And we'll have as much family time as you want.
Jax: Well, you're the mother of my child. We'll always have family time. And we'll always be friends. Always help you out as much as I can. As for the rest of it...
Carly: My marriage to Sonny ended like five minutes ago. I don't think it's unreasonable to need some time to process everything.
Jax: No, I -- no, I get it. You take all the time in the world. I'm just -- I just -- I'm just saying I-I -- I don't know if I'll be waiting.
Carly: So it's now or never.
Jax: Sonny deals in ultimatums. I don't. I'm just talking from experience. Sometimes when there's an offer on the table and you pass it up, it just doesn't come back. I don't know.
Carly: Well, I'm gonna have to take my chances, because for me to go with you now with so much unresolved -- I mean, it just wouldn't be fair to anyone, least of all our daughter.
Jax: [Sighs] Yes. Okay. Speaking of our amazing daughter, I am going to, uh... I'm gonna drive past the stables and, uh -- and pick her up so she can ride to the airport with me, if that's okay.
Carly: Yes, of course, and I will be there to bring her back. I will.
Jax: Great. Thanks.
Carly: No, thank you.
Jax: For what, the visit that blew apart your life?
Carly: For giving me some much-needed clarity and something to think about. Fly safe, okay?
Jax: Hey, [Chuckles] Expert pilot, remember?
Carly: [Chuckles] There's no one better.
Jax: Bye, Carly.
Carly: Bye. [Kiss]
Carly: Goodbye, Jax.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Nelle (to Michael): So, this is your way of saying you're never gonna forgive me?
Lulu (to Dante): I have the best news.
Hayden (to Finn): Have you been using?
Laura (to Tracy): If it turns out that Samira is your sister, will you help her then?
Ned (to Samira): Oh, whoa!
Valentin (to Nina): Have you seen my watch?
Griffin (to Anna): Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?
