[Keys jangle]

Alexis: Anybody home? I have no idea why I just said that. Nobody else lives here but me. [Sighs] Yep. Relaxation oil. That ought to work.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: Who is it?

Nathan: PCPD.

Alexis: Detective West.

Nathan: You got a minute?

Alexis: Uh, yeah, come on in.

[Door closes]

Alexis: Is it about Julian?

Jason: Uh-oh.

Sam: What?

Jason: I see you're on your phone again.

Sam: I promise I'm not addicted.

Jason: Mm-hmm. If you say so.

Sam: I'm just checking on a text from Curtis. I'm trying to find out who used Julian's credit card. How's Scout?

Jason: She's good. She woke up when I was trying to put her down, but then she went back to sleep.

Sam: Ooh. Well, hopefully she'll sleep a full four hours because I could use a nap.

[Doorbell rings]

Jason: Yeah?

Sam: Mm-hmm.

[Scout cries]

Sam: Oh, no. Okay. You get the door. I'll check on Scout. There goes my nap.

Jason: Sorry. It's fine. Hey.

Elizabeth: Jason.

Jason: Come on in.

Elizabeth: Is this an okay time? I wanted to check in with you about Jake.

Franco: Jake. How'd you get here?

Jake: I walked.

Franco: Um, how come you're not at home, dude? And more importantly, how come nobody knows that you're gone?

Jake: Well, Cameron was in his room studying. And Aiden was already asleep.

Franco: And the babysitter?

Jake: She was on her phone texting. So I went out the back door. It was easy.

Franco: You know, your mom's on her way home now, and when she gets there and you're not there and the babysitter doesn't know where you are, she's gonna freak out. Let's not even think about what your father's gonna do.

Jake: I just had to see for myself.

Franco: See what?

Jake: Why you don't want to be my friend anymore?

Michael: This is a waste of time.

Kristina: Michael. Didn't expect to see you here.

Michael: Oh, hey, Krissy. What's with all the books?

Kristina: I'm taking night classes at PCU. You know, to make up for the mess I made of my grades at Wesleyan. [Sighs] I can't believe it's been a year since I've been back in Port Charles. Let me buy you a cappuccino. We can catch up. Seems like there's a lot to catch up on. What is it? And don't say nothing, because I can recognize that look on your face from a mile away.

Michael: Well, uh... while you were studying, our family imploded. Again.

Nelle: You need to know this. It's about the night we spent together.

Sonny: Worst night of my life. I'm just glad I don't remember details.

Nelle: Okay, well, there's a reason you don't remember --

Sonny: Yeah, we both know the reason. You made me think that Jax slept with Carly. I was drinking, and I was drinking more, and I blacked out for the first time in my life.

Nelle: Wasn't just the booze, Sonny. I drugged you.

Jax: Oh, Carly, I'm sorry. Sorry.

Carly: Don't be. Don't be.

Jax: Okay, okay. Wait, wait. What -- what are we doing?

Carly: We're trying to feel better. We're trying to feel anything but pain.

Jax: We almost m-made this mistake last time I was in town.

Carly: Okay, this isn't a mistake. And I don't want to stop.

[Kissing]

Nathan: Well, I stopped by earlier, but nobody was home.

Alexis: I was at a day spa with my friend Diane trying to work out the negative thoughts in my head. Didn't work. So why are you here? Did a body wash up ashore?

Nathan: Might want to think about getting your money back from that day spa.

Alexis: I appreciate you trying to ease your way into this. But I need you to just tell me, no matter how grisly, because I need some closure.

Nathan: [Sighs] I'm sorry. Look, it's, uh, it's nothing definitive. It's just -- someone used Julian's credit card to purchase a one-way bus ticket to Los Angeles.

Alexis: Someone? So you haven't been able to ID the person?

Nathan: No. All we have to go on is the charge itself. Sam was alerted by fraud protection because the company had been notified of Julian's death.

Alexis: Well, I don't know that I can help you. I mean, in the short time that we were married, we kept our affairs separate, and I don't know anything about his credit cards.

Nathan: We've been operating under the assumption that Julian was shot and killed the night of March 13th. Okay, but without a body, we can't be sure. Do you have any reason to believe that Julian might still be alive?

Jason: So what's going on? Is Jake having an issue after his session with Dr. Maddox?

Elizabeth: No. No, no, no. Nothing like that. He's fine. He's at home with his brothers and a sitter, hopefully sleeping.

Sam: Scout's fine, back in... dream land. Hey, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Oh, I -- I really hope that doorbell didn't wake her up. I'm sorry.

Sam: It's okay.

Elizabeth: I won't be here long. I-I actually just wanted you to know that I scheduled a follow-up session for Jake.

Jason: Okay. Great, uh, I appreciate it, but you didn't have to go out of your way to come by here and tell me in person.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I know that. But I've been thinking about what Andr said, about how if we want Jake to open up about his time on Cassadine Island, then we need to be on the same page. Jake can't think we're at odds with each other.

Jason: Look, I promise you that we will present a united front.

Sam: Yeah, that goes for me, too, obviously, anything I can do to help.

Elizabeth: Oh, well, thank you, Sam. I appreciate that, but you don't need to inconvenience yourself.

Sam: Inconvenience? It's not an inconvenience. Jake is my stepson.

Elizabeth: It might be a little confusing for him.

Jason: Confusing?

Elizabeth: Well, if Franco, someone Jake absolutely adores, isn't allowed to be a part of the equation, then why is Sam?

Franco: Okay, let's get something straight. I'm your friend, okay? I'm always gonna be your friend, Jake.

Jake: Well, how come you stopped hanging out at the house? Are you mad at my mom?

Franco: No. Not at all. In fact, your mom and I are in a really great place. It's just I -- look, Jake, now that you understand that you and I are still friends, I need to tell you something, all right? One friend to another? I do not want to see you get into trouble.

Jake: Why would I get in trouble?

Franco: Are you kidding me? You snuck out at night. You're away from the babysitter. You're -- you're walking the streets alone after dark.

Jake: I just wanted to see you.

Franco: Okay. But now I got to take you home, okay, 'cause if your mom gets home, and you're not there, she's gonna have a meltdown.

Jake: Please don't make me go. This place is so cool. I never want to leave.

Kristina: What happened this time?

Michael: Let's just say that somebody came between them.

Kristina: Oh, my God, it's Jax, isn't it? I knew it. Carly always has to have a man on backup.

Michael: Actually, it's -- it's not Jax.

Kristina: You're not just saying that to protect your mom? 'Cause I'll ask Dad.

Michael: Actually, my, uh, Mom is not the one who cheated.

Kristina: What? Dad had an affair? With who?

Michael: [Sighs] Okay, um... last Thanksgiving, Dad got drunk and, um... he slept with Nelle.

Kristina: What? Wonderful Nelle, the world's greatest assistant? The one who Carly insisted on having over for Christmas Eve? The one who is so nauseatingly sweet and helpful? That Nelle slept with Dad?

Michael: Yes. They were, uh, extenuating circumstances.

Kristina: What a back-stabbing bitch. I can't believe she would hurt Dad like that and while he was grieving for Morgan.

Michael: Yes, what Nelle did was horrible. But -- but to be fair, she was hurting, too.

Kristina: Excuse me? You just told me our family's imploding and Nelle is the reason. Why are you defending her?

Sonny: You drugged me? You drugged me? You led me to believe that Carly was sleeping with Jax when she wasn't?

Nelle: I did see Carly and Jax kiss. And Jax did ask me to cancel his hotel reservation, so when I told you, you just -- you assumed the worst, and I didn't disagree. So I made you a drink. When you turned your back, I crushed up an old sleeping pill. I led you upstairs, undressed you, and you passed out cold. I took off my clothes, and I got in bed beside you.

Sonny: And the morning after?

Nelle: [Sighs] Found me in your bed. You freaked out at me being there. You got dressed. I pretended to be upset that I betrayed Carly. And you tried to console me.

Sonny: You know what? I underestimated you. 'Cause I just thought you were taking advantage of a situation, making something bad worse, but you went beyond that. You made me feel guilty for something I didn't do. You tore my family, my wife, everything apart over a lie. There's something wrong with you. How do you think I'm gonna react?

[Jax and Carly go to her bedroom and make love.]

Singer: Could you ever be with me and love me like you used to? Will you ever stay awhile and call me 'cause I need you? Will you ever find your fight and talk the way we used to? Don't hold back no, don't hold back no, this love won't take me down I know I was bitter, bitter and too proud no, this break won't drag me down all I needed was pulling off the ground will you ever stay awhile? Are you lonely just like me? Do you ever do you ever find your fire? Oh, I feel you slipping, slipping from me

Nathan: Well, you said in your statement that Julian had been shot. And the jacket that we recovered has a bullet hole and blood stains, which confirms this, but the odds that he survived --

Alexis: I know that the odds are minimal.

Nathan: Yeah. So how do you explain the credit cards?

Alexis: My best guess is that someone stole his wallet, because even in the worst predicament, Julian would never travel by bus. I doubt that he would even fly coach.

Nathan: Okay, well, he had to realize that he'd be charged as Olivia's accomplice. Maybe -- maybe he'd be willing to temporarily lower his standards?

Alexis: It's like I told you before -- that we kept our business affairs separate. I did get the impression that he has a lot of money stowed away for a rainy day, and he's certainly smart enough not to use his credit card, so he wouldn't do that. [Sighs] All right, if that's all that you want to talk about, I'm -- I'm sorry. I'm really tired. I just want to crawl into bed.

Nathan: Okay. If you think of anything, even if you don't think it's important, please let me know.

Alexis: Nathan. Uh, will you do me a favor?

Nathan: Yeah, sure.

Alexis: If you do find anything definitive, will you let me know?

Nathan: Of course.

[Engine starts]

Jason: There is a massive difference between Sam's role in Jake's life and Franco's.

Elizabeth: I agree. Franco spent a lot of months doing art therapy with Jake. Jake likes him. He trusts him. If he's gonna open up to anyone, it's gonna be Franco.

[Cell phone rings]

Jason: Franco?

Franco: I don't have a lot of time so I'll be quick. Jake is here with me at my art studio.

Jason: How did that happen?

Franco: I did not invite him. There was a knock on the door, I opened it, and he was standing there. I just -- he's fine. Just thought you should know.

Jason: Uh-huh. I'll be right there. Jake is at Franco's art studio.

Elizabeth: What? How did he get there?

Jason: I have no idea, but I think you and I should go pick him up together.

Elizabeth: No, I'll do it. I don't want you getting into it with Franco.

Jason: Uh, excuse me, we both just agreed to present a united front. I think we should go do this together.

Elizabeth: [Huffs] Fine. I'll drive. My car's out front.

Jason: Thank you. Sorry about this.

Sam: No, no, don't apologize, but don't let either of them get to you. She's defensive, he hates you -- it's a sticky situation.

Jason: I know. I can control myself, I promise.

Sam: I know you can.

Jason: Okay. Be right back.

Sam: Okay. Be careful.

Michael: I'm not making excuses for Nelle.

Kristina: Mm, except you kind of are. Talking about how she got hurt, too.

Michael: Yeah, but that's not -- that doesn't excuse what she did. Mom and Dad were at their most vulnerable when Morgan died, and she took advantage of that.

Kristina: Well, I hope she goes back to whatever swamp she crawled out of.

Michael: Well, she's not. She's -- she got a job working for Valentin Cassadine. She's going to be looking after his daughter.

Kristina: Dante's stepdaughter? Oh, joy, she's practically part of the extended family.

Michael: Look, Krissy, it do-- it doesn't matter if she's staying in Port Charles or not. What matters right now is Mom and Dad. You know how they get.

Kristina: Well, no offense, but Carly shouldn't be so judgy on the subject of cheating.

Michael: Yeah, but Dad's not making it much easier. He actually went to her and said... he wanted her to forgive him or their marriage is over. I'm sure you know how she reacted.

Kristina: Okay, not Dad's finest moment.

Michael: No, I-I-I don't think my mom wants to get a divorce anyway. For one thing, she loves him. Another thing, it would really mess with Avery and Josslyn. But I think -- I think if Dad goes to her and says how sorry he is and -- and -- and that he wants to make it work and that he's willing to wait as long as it takes, I think -- I think that she would back off.

Kristina: I'm sorry to tell you, but there's only one way that that's going to happen. You have to talk him into it.

Michael: No. No, no, no, no, I'm not playing referee to my parents' marriage.

Kristina: Too late. You're the sanest person that either of them knows, and, besides, like you said, this is really going to mess with Avery and Joss. And as a big brother, you have to step in.

Michael: [Sighs] I-I really don't think it's gonna do any good.

Kristina: If I were Avery and Joss, I'd want you to try.

[Carly kisses Jax's chest]

Jax: That was, uh...

Carly: The one thing we always got right even when we were wrong.

Jax: So what was it today? Wrong or very right?

[Kissing]

Nelle: Sonny, there's really nothing else left for me to say except that I was so wrong. You know, I wish now more than ever that I could change it, but -- but I can't.

Sonny: It wasn't about just the one night or the lie. You kept building on it, milking it... while Carly and I were grieving over our dead son, trying to cling to whatever we had left of our marriage, you kept twisting the knife. Months after, you planted a bra in my bed. I didn't know you made a recording of us talking about it, and you were gonna show it to Carly. [Exhales sharply] It's just -- it's like -- what... why -- why now? Why the confession now? If you're looking for absolution... you're coming to the wrong place.

Nelle: Does it matter why I'm being honest with you now?

Sonny: Because you're selfish. And now you want to confess, and I have to ask myself -- what's in it for you?

Nelle: I don't want this weighing on my shoulders anymore, all right? There are no more lies. Everything is on the table now.

Sonny: After everything you did to my family, destroyed my life, you want me to just believe that you woke up this morning with a guilty conscience and just said to yourself, "I'm gonna confess." I don't buy it.

Michael: You don't buy what? What's going on? What did Nelle confess?

Carly: [Scoffs] You know what? Uh, we don't need to complicate things. We're together right now, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Jax: Yeah, your marriage might be ending. You found out that I'm responsible for Joss getting nelle's kidney. And, well, my mother's dead because of me.

Carly: No, your mother's not dead because of you. And what happened with Josslyn happened because you were trying to save your daughter's life.

Jax: And now we're in bed, so, yeah, some context might be appropriate.

Carly: I don't know. What happened happened. We needed it. I needed it. We enjoyed ourselves.

Jax: Mm-hmm. That's a very mature take, if I didn't know you.

Carly: [Laughing] Oh!

Jax: But even when you're impulsive, there's always a purpose.

Carly: Really? So are you saying that I'm using you?

Jax: I hope so, 'cause I was definitely using you.

Carly: [Laughs] Well, that felt good. You know? To laugh like that. I haven't really done that or felt human since Morgan died.

Jax: Well, laugh, cry -- hey, when you're with me, you can do whatever you want. We both needed this. And for a few more hours, we have nothing else to do.

[Kissing]

[Kissing]

Sam: Mm. "Curtis, any new info on Julian's credit card? Sooner the better." Send.

[Knock on door]

Sam: Who is it?

Alexis: Your mother.

Sam: Mom? Why aren't you at the spa?

Alexis: Because after hours of hot stone massage and lots of exfoliating, I realized it didn't solve any of my problems.

Sam: Did you get another hang up?

Alexis: No, that stopped. But as soon as I got back home, Detective West stopped by and told me that Julian's credit card was being used.

Sam: Yeah.

Alexis: Is that why you wanted me to spend the night at the spa?

Sam: Um, hmm, okay. Nathan came by here, too. He asked me about it. He said he was gonna stop by and see you. I told him not to, I didn't want him to worry you.

Alexis: My daughter, I know you love me, but you cannot protect me from the world or my own bad impulses.

Sam: Mm. Okay. I'm sorry. Next time, I'll tell you. I guess I should tell you that Curtis is also working on an investigation into Julian's credit card.

Alexis: And?

Sam: Uh, and what? He's empty-handed.

Alexis: And what aren't you telling me?

Franco: Attaboy. You know how to use this place the way it's supposed to be used, like it's a great big playroom.

Jake: It's fun.

Franco: Is it? Good. Okay. I-I got to stop you, all right? Jake, when you make something, you got to attack, all right? You got to use big bold strokes, big bold colors.

Jake: Go big or go home.

Franco: Exactly. Jake. I-I-I know that you and I are buddies, but I got to tell you that there's somebody else that you can trust and talk to now, all right? And your mom said that you were talking to Dr. Maddox, I did some checking, and he's one of the good guys.

Jake: Maybe. But this is different. This is our thing. You get it.

Franco: I get what?

Jake: Dr. M. had some action figures I can play with, so I picked the scarecrow and the witch from "The Wizard of Oz."

Franco: Scarecrow? Okay, what did Dr. Maddox say about that?

Jake: He told me to make up my own story with them, so I told him that in my story, the scarecrow and the witch are friends.

Franco: Okay. What did he say to that?

Jake: It was just a game we were playing. It's not nearly as good as the stories I draw with you.

[Knock on door]

Franco: Come on.

Jake: How'd you guys know I was here?

Franco: I called them, Jake.

Jake: I thought I could trust you! But you're just like the rest of them. Why did you call them?

Elizabeth: Franco was right by telling us where you were. I called Bria on the way over here. She's very upset. She had no idea you snuck out, and she feels like she did something wrong.

Jake: I didn't mean to get Bria in trouble.

Elizabeth: Honey, you know better than to sneak out of the house.

Jason: Jake, we discussed this. You're too young to be out on your own after dark.

Franco: Mom and Dad are right, Jake. And no matter what, they call all the shots.

Elizabeth: Come on, we'll have this talk at home. Let's go.

Jason: Uh, do you guys mind waiting in the car for me? I need to talk to Franco.

Elizabeth: Jason, please.

Jason: I'm gonna talk to him. Thank you.

Franco: It'll be fine. Go ahead. Take your best shot.

Jason: Oh, I'm not gonna hit you. That's exactly what you want.

Sam: I followed up on the phone call that you got at the gas station.

Alexis: I thought you said it was from a pay phone and you couldn't trace it.

Sam: I had wondered if the gas station had security cameras, and it turns out that they did. And I was able to get a screen grab of the video at the exact same time that your mystery call came in.

Alexis: So why did you say that it wasn't definitive?

Sam: [Sighs]

Alexis: Sam? Do you know who made that phone call?

Jax: You know, I kind of want to remember this. Mm. So what are we calling it? A reunion? Reconnection?

Carly: A rewind.

[Laughing]

Jax: Rewind.

Carly: [Laughs]

Jax: Okay.

Carly: [Sighs]

Jax: Works for me. Got any white wine in the fridge?

Carly: [Gasps] I have your favorite white wine in my --

Jax: You do?

Carly: I do. I'll get it. Stay here.

Jax: No guilt, no regret. Come here.

Carly: None. I'll be back.

Jax: Okay.

Michael: You know, I waited for you at the promenade just like you asked. I had no idea you were on your way to see my father.

Nelle: I never should have come here, Michael. I never should have even come to Port Charles.

Michael: Yeah, but you did. Maybe it was the wrong reasons, but we can't change that.

Nelle: I have to go.

Sonny: You know what? You know why she's so eager to leave? Because she -- she doesn't want to be here when I tell you what she told me. Remember that Thanksgiving night when she came over? You ready for this? She drugged me.

Michael: What?

Sonny: She took off all my clothes, and then she took off all her clothes, got in bed next to me, and then when I woke up in the morning, she convinced me that we had sex. And it was all a twisted lie, and I have to tell your mother right now.

Michael: Wait. Dad.

Sonny: Okay, you know what? Just -- no, this is for your own good. Tell her to go. Go and don't come back. Get out of our lives forever. That's all I'm gonna say to you, Michael.

[Door slams]

Nelle: [Exhales]

Michael: My dad believes you, because it absolves him. But you could just be telling him what he wants to hear, so why don't you tell me, Nelle, which one is it? Did you sleep with my father or did you drug him and lie about it?

Nelle: I didn't want to sleep with Sonny. And I just figured it would be more decent if I drugged him and -- and made him think that we did.

Michael: Decent?! How could that word even come out of your mouth? You -- you drugged my father! I mean, that's not only illegal... you know who my father is and what he does to his enemies. There's no point even talking about that. You -- for weeks, you've been telling me how sorry you were. Why didn't you just tell me the truth from the start?

Nelle: I was gonna tell you, Michael. I was gonna tell you everything, but... I felt I owed it to him first.

Michael: What, you owed him? Why? Because you set out to destroy my parents' marriage? You used my little sister, you used me.

Nelle: Hurting you and Joss was never part of my plan, I promise you that.

Michael: Okay, okay, great, so I was collateral damage. Don't I feel so special. You know, that night at the cabin, I felt so close to you. Why didn't you just tell me then?

Nelle: Michael, I was gonna tell you. I was gonna tell you everything. I just -- I thought that then there wouldn't be a chance for us to be friends or even more than friends.

Michael: No, don't you get -- that was the last chance that you had, and you just threw it away!

Nelle: No, you can't say that because we -- we can still work something out!

Michael: No, no, you need to leave now!

[Doorbell rings]

[Knock on door]

Carly: I'm coming. I'm coming. Good grief. Sonny, uh, this is not a good time.

Sonny: Yeah, I know.

Carly: No, no, no. No, no, you don't understand. This is really not a good time.

Sonny: I know I'm the last person that you want to see, but I got something I got to tell you. And it's gonna -- it's gonna change everything.

Jason: You know, I never said you weren't smart. You could have called Elizabeth, told her Jake was here, I would've never known. But instead, you call me, try to act like a responsible adult, earn some points with Jake's mom. It's good work.

Franco: You scored some points, too. You didn't lose your cool in front of Jake the way you normally do.

Jason: Yeah, well, my son's well-being comes first, and that's why I do not want him in this place ever again.

Franco: Yeah, I did not invite him.

Jason: You didn't have to. You've convinced Jake that you understand him, that you care about him.

Franco: Jake is my friend, okay? Maybe he just likes art, probably got that from his mother.

Jason: Okay, smart-ass. What part of "don't come near my kid again" are you having a hard time understanding?

Franco: I think I understand your kid better than you understand your kid. That's probably what's pissing you off.

Elizabeth: Jake's waiting in the car. [Sighs] I had a feeling I should come back. What's going on?

Sam: The height and the build are pretty similar, but it's also very common. You know Julian better than anyone.

Alexis: I couldn't possibly tell from that picture, I couldn't. If he is alive, why is he torturing me?

Sam: See? I knew I shouldn't have said anything 'cause it's probably not him.

[Cell phone rings]

Sam: Oh, that's probably Jason. There's a situation with Jake.

Alexis: Is he all right?

Sam: Well, Elizabeth is dating Franco, and -- oh, wait a minute. It's Curtis. Hold on. Hello? Hey, can you speak up? I can barely hear you. Okay. No, um, I-I understand. Thanks for the info.

Alexis: Well, what did he say?

Sam: We know who used Julian's card.

Jason: Franco and I were just discussing Jake's well-being, and we decided that this place is off limits. Isn't that right?

Franco: Yeah, right. 'Cause, you know, an art studio's such a horrible environment for a kid, way worse than a gun range.

Elizabeth: All right, all right. No one's taking him to a gun range. If Jake wants to paint, he can do it with me at home.

Jason: There, good by me. That's settled.

Franco: Is it settled? Why is it that Jake came to see me? Why does he feel more comfortable with me?

Jason: Because you want him to feel comfortable with you because you are a very good manipulator. That's why.

Elizabeth: Thank you for taking care of Jake.

Franco: Are you kidding? He's a great kid. Takes after his mom.

Elizabeth: Good night.

Franco: Good night.

Elizabeth: I'll call you later.

Franco: Okay. Jake left this for me.

Kristina: Dante told me Maxie's going to be in Portland for a couple months. Are you trying to avoid going home to an empty apartment?

Nathan: [Sighs] Busted. [Chuckles] Although, technically, I am still on the clock.

Kristina: So this is police business.

Nathan: Is that okay?

Kristina: If this is about my dad, I don't know anything. He has always kept his kids out of things.

Nathan: Well, I'm not here to talk about Sonny. I'm here to talk about Julian.

Kristina: Julian, why? I mean, the guy's dead. And may he rest in peace or whatever you say when someone finally gets what they deserve.

Nathan: Okay, so no love lost there, huh?

Kristina: He tried to kill my mom.

Nathan: Speaking of your mother, I was just talking to her at her house.

Kristina: Why?

Nathan: Well, Julian's body was never recovered.

Kristina: You don't think that he's still alive?

Nathan: I honestly don't know. But stranger things have been known to happen.

Kristina: And you think my mom knows something about it?

Nathan: Mm, let's say I got the sense that Alexis was holding something back.

Kristina: Like what?

Nathan: I don't know. But if she is holding something back, she may be placing herself in danger without even knowing it.

Sam: Curtis traced Julian's credit card to a kid who found it on the side of the road.

Alexis: What road?

Sam: County Road 52 near Roebling Park bridge. The kid said that he, um, purchased a bus ticket to Los Angeles.

Alexis: Does Curtis believe him?

Sam: Yeah, the story checks out. The kid is a runaway, and he had the card on him when Curtis picked him up. Hey. [Sighs] What are you thinking?

Alexis: I'm thinking that it proves that Julian didn't use the credit card, but it doesn't prove whether he's dead or alive.

Sam: Okay. Well, what answer are you hoping for?

Alexis: I honestly don't know.

[Keys jangle]

[A hooded man enters Alexis' house]

Nelle: Michael, please. Come on, you -- you have to believe me. Look, that night at the cabin, you made me believe that I could move forward with my life. That I didn't have to live in the past, and I could just stop this whole plan. But it was too late, all right? That -- that is the truth.

Michael: You've told so many lies, you can't tell the difference anymore.

Nelle: I know. I screwed up. And I don't expect you to forgive me, not now. But someday, I hope you can, because, Michael, if I thought you hated me, I don't think I could take it.

Michael: I can't fix you, Nelle. That's not my job.

Carly: Okay, whatever it is that you want to tell me, it's going to have to wait.

Sonny: No, no, no, it can't. It can't. I -- this is gonna be like a whole new beginning. All you got to do is listen. I never slept with Nelle.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Curtis: What are you doing out here?

Hayden: Enjoying the view.

Finn: Forget rehab. Forget detox. Forget everything.

Dante: It's not gonna make her love you.

Lulu: Then what will?

Kristina (to Alexis): What could you possibly be hiding from the police?

Sonny (to Carly): It's over. We can just be together.
