Hayden: That really isn't necessary.
Finn: It's very generous, Tracy, but really, a drink is enough.
Tracy: Oh, it does not begin to express my gratitude. What you did for the hospital is unparalleled. As my father would, say, "You really pulled our fat out of the fire," although I think he would've used more colorful language.
Finn: But no, honestly, you don't have to thank me anymore.
Hayden: Obviously she feels like she does, so let's just have our drinks and be on our way.
Tracy: Wow! Could the two of you table your lover's spat until we have celebrated the fact that General Hospital has risen from the ashes? Look, I don't have anybody else that I like that much to celebrate with. Monica's at the hospital. Michael is with his new girlfriend. God knows where Laura disappeared to, so I'm stuck with you. And, conversely, you're stuck with me. So, get over yourselves.
[Airplane engine roars]
Laura: JFK. Why am I here?
Franco: Hold on a second.
Jason: Get out of my way.
Franco: Don't go in there. Just let the doctors do their job.
Jason: Get out of my way.
Franco: Listen, you're just gonna be in the way.
Robin: Jason! Stop.
Jason: Hear me? Do you hear me?
Carly: You weren't trying to spare me any pain. You were trying to spare yourself. So you kept your guilty secret. You kept your mouth shut, and you let that little slut work her way further and further into our family!
Carly: You let me depend on her, Sonny. You let me trust her. And the whole time, you knew she was a lying bitch.
Sonny: I don't know. What was I supposed to do?
Carly: You could've stopped it at any time. You could've stopped it the morning it started.
Sonny: And if -- and if I did, would you have forgiven me? Would you --
Carly: I don't know. We will never know, because you chose to lie to me. You chose to let me believe in this life that we were gonna have together that's now never gonna happen. And let me tell you, that hurts worse than knowing you slept with that slut to begin with. Don't. Don't. Please, don't. That's not gonna work now.
Sonny: What do you -- okay, what do you want me to say? You -- I'll say anything you want.
Carly: There's nothing you can say. You already did it. And everything that you said is on that recording -- everything. I want you to stay away from me.
Michael: Uh, Mom? Dad? What are you guys doing here? Did something happen?
Carly: You could say that.
[Door opens, car alarm blaring]
Kevin: Laura, Laura, it's me. It's me, it's okay. It's Kevin. I'm here.
Tracy: I don't know about you, but I'm starving. I was so worried about what was gonna happen at the hospital. I can't imagine what could've happened to Laura.
Finn: Has anybody heard from her?
Tracy: Uh, not since she assured me that she would get to the board meeting ahead of time. And since then, radio silence. And to add insult to injury, Obrecht had to decide our fate. I think the haddock looks good. Wow, you two are about as much fun as a spoonful of botulism. Don't tell me that the thrill is already gone.
Michael: Does somebody wanna tell me what's going on?
Carly: Where to begin? Actually, I am the last person who should be telling you.
Michael: Okay, well, whatever it is, mom, just tell us, because we don't have much time. We're about to go to Atlanta.
Carly: Since when?
Michael: Well, uh, Nelle's friend's sick, and our plane's about to take off.
Carly: Your friend who talked to Felicia?
Carly: The chatterbox is now ill?
Michael: Your -- your friend talked to Felicia?
Carly: What was your plan, huh? Really, I mean, were you gonna whisk Michael out of Port Charles before I found out the truth? Didn't you think I could call him or text him or send him an e-mail? I'm just curious. I mean, you are a strategic thinker. How were you gonna manage all this?
Nelle: I don't know, you know, I didn't plan it. I just did -- I --
Carly: You didn't wanna be exposed, right? I bet you didn't.
Michael: Whoa whoa whoa -- exposed? What's -- what is going on?
Sonny: Michael, Michael, I'm gonna tell you what happened, all right? Last Thanksgiving, I got so drunk that I couldn't see straight, and I slept... with Nelle.
Robin: They're probably calling security right now. Do you want that? Okay, what happened?
Franco: Me? What did I do? All I did was try and stop him from storming in there and preventing the medical professionals from doing their job -- saving his wife's life.
Jason: It's not his fault.
Robin: Wait, what, Sam's -- Sam's here? Is she having her baby?
Franco: Okay, you're welcome.
Jason: There's a lot going on right now.
Robin: Well, tell me. Here.
Jason: Sam was abducted yesterday, right after you saw her. Olivia Jerome talked her into taking a ride.
Robin: Olivia Jerome is... alive?
Robin: That's why you were asking about her yesterday.
Jason: I thought it was possible that she was, yeah.
Robin: Do the police know?
Jason: They do, but I'm not sure if they caught her yet.
Robin: So, she abducted Sam?
Jason: Yeah. She drove her out to that bridge out in, uh, Roebling Park.
Jason: I think she pushed her. She ended up, uh, in the incline. She was out all night in the snow, and when I found her she was in labor, and we had to, uh, deliver the baby outside.
Robin: Is the baby okay?
Jason: I think she's okay, I think she is. They took her away to neonatal. They took Sam away, too. I started losing my mind. Just wanted to be with my wife. He got in my way, I threw him up against the thing, and that's why you're here. There's a lot going on.
Elizabeth: Jason, I have an update on Sam.
Hayden: It's been a long day, Tracy, and I guess I just can't get over the shock of Finn selling the patent of his drug so suddenly, and without the benefit of legal counsel.
Finn: Despite what you might think, I know what I'm doing. I've negotiated contracts before, and there's a grace period, which allows me to finalize the finer points of the deal.
Hayden: Yes, but you were so dead-set against Biospen or any big pharmaceutical company having the patent, I can't help but wondering what part of your soul you had to sell to save the hospital?
Finn: I assure you, what remains of my soul is intact.
Tracy: Well, this is fun.
Finn: Yes, isn't in? On a -- on a more positive note, I was able to convince the owner of the company, Shane Healy, to provide a rider in the contract making a low-cost generic version of the drug available to patients in underdeveloped countries who need it most.
Hayden: How did you manage that?
Finn: Well, I advised him on how he could re-purpose the drugs, so he might be able to market it to the masses. And I suppose that part of it was a little soul-sucking, but it allowed me to get what I wanted in the end.
Tracy: That is impressive.
Hayden: You did all that to save the hospital?
Finn: I know my relationship with the hospital has been at times odd, sometimes even strained. But when I'm working there, it gives me a reason to stay in Port Charles, which has grown on me. And I think I'd like to stick around.
Tracy: Well, I, for one, will drink to that. To Finn, for saving General Hospital, and to Hayden, for your unfailing support, and to the two of you. May you sort out your differences, because if two such flawed and unusual people as you can find love, then there's hope for all of us.
Elizabeth: I checked in with neonatal. Your baby is doing well. She's warming up, and it looks like she's gonna be just fine.
Jason: That's good news. That's, uh -- that's good to hear.
Elizabeth: I heard you performed miracles delivering her and protecting her from the elements. I know that was frightening.
Jason: Yeah, it wasn't easy. [Clears throat] She, uh, wouldn't breathe at first, but I worked on her and, uh, thank God she came around. Strong just like her mom, you know? So, how is Sam doing?
Elizabeth: Sam's issues are a little more complicated. She's hemorrhaging. That's why there was so much blood.
Jason: Because she was pushed from the bridge?
Robin: Is there internal bleeding?
Elizabeth: There appears to be. Uh, we took her into OR right away.
Robin: Do you know how long she'll be in surgery?
Elizabeth: No, that I don't know. But if you guys wanna wait upstairs, I'll keep you posted.
Jason: Thank you. I appreciate that.
Robin: Let's go.
Elizabeth: Did you catch any of that?
Franco: Yeah. Is Sam gonna be all right?
Elizabeth: Honestly, I don't know. Hey, I have to cover on the 10th floor. Can you do me a favor?
Franco: Yeah, sure.
Elizabeth: My grandmother is supposed to be dropping the boys off at home soon. Can you meet them there?
Franco: Yeah, no problem.
Elizabeth: Thank you.
Elizabeth: Quite a first day, huh?
Franco: Yeah. I feel bad for Jason. I know it's astonishing I just said that, but I'd be going nuts if I saw you wheeled away like that.
Elizabeth: Not in my plans.
Franco: Oh, you have plans? Huh. [Chuckles] I have plans too, you know. I've never looked forward to my life as much as I do right now.
Sonny: First, I want -- I wanna say I'm not proud of this at all. It's... [Sighs] I was drunk... and I was grieving for your brother. Nelle came by, supposedly to check on me. Next thing I know, she's in my bed. And I told her I was sorry, that it was a mistake. But it was a mistake for me. She knew exactly what she was doing.
Michael: Wait, what are you... what do you -- what do you mean?
Sonny: I wanted it to end. I wanted her to keep it a secret, 'cause the whole family was -- was in so much pain. I didn't want you guys to go through any more pain. She said she would, and you know what she did? She recorded our whole conversation. Were you gonna blackmail me? Huh? How was that gonna work out for you?
Michael: All right, this doesn't make any sense.
Carly: No, it doesn't make any sense. It's really hard to believe that this wonderful, selfless, generous, young lady, who I had come to think of as my daughter, wormed her way into your father's bed. I trusted you. I mean, I really trusted you.
Nelle: Carly --
Carly: Did you like making a fool of me? I mean, every time I sang your praises, you were tightening the screws on my husband, right? Sending yourself flowers, pretending like they came from him. Planting your bra in his bed. It's crazy. I mean, I -- I can't understand where I got you completely wrong. I did -- I mean, I fell for your angelic act. And you are either one hell of a blackmailer, or you are a wall-crawling psycho.
Nelle: All right, that's enough.
Carly: Don't you walk away from me.
Michael: Hey, Mom, Mom, wait. Hey, hey. Nelle, Nelle. [Breathing heavily] Look, I'm gonna give you one chance, okay? I'm gonna give you one chance to explain. Okay, before you start, you need to understand I believe my parents. If my father says he slept with you, he did. If he says you recorded him, you did.
Carly: Well, you don't have to take Sonny's word for it. It's right here.
Carly: You left the flash drive in the trash can. That was really sloppy.
Nelle: You went through my trash?
Carly: You bet I did. You know, for all that time you spent sucking up to me, you don't know me at all. When someone slithers their way into my family, helps themself to my husband and lies to my kids, I'm gonna do a hell of a lot more than go through your trash.
Michael: Mom, let me finish. Nelle, just tell me why you did it.
Nelle: [Breathing heavily] I'm so sorry, Michael.
Michael: So, is this -- is they why you, uh, kept telling me you're such a terrible person, why you kept shutting down whenever I got too close?
Nelle: Yes, I-I couldn't bring myself to tell you.
Michael: So everything we talked about at the cabin and again this morning about you making things right and getting out of your situation -- you were talking about my father?
Nelle: Yes, I had -- I had already set something in motion, and I -- and I was trying to stop it.
Carly: Well, it's too late, because I listened to it all. Every word about how you and Sonny decided that you would lie to me and cover it up.
Sonny: You planned this all along. You show up at my place, tell me that Jax slept with Carly. You saw that I was already drinking, that I was in a dark place. But you helped me get drunk to the point where I didn't know what the hell was going on. It was -- it was a plan... to get me in bed. And then... you record our conversation? You leave a trail of your -- of what, flowers and a bra?
Nelle: Yes, yes. I did all of that, all right? But I decided not to go through with it.
Carly: Not to go through with what, Nelle? Was blackmail next on the agenda? I mean, you already slept with my husband. What the hell did you decide not to go through with?
Nelle: Michael... ...you deserve to know what really happened.
Laura: I don't have any idea how I got here.
Kevin: You don't know? What's the last thing you remember?
Kevin: It's okay, it's okay. Let's take it slow.
Laura: I was at the Metro Court, and, um, Lulu cancelled. Tracy was bugging me about getting to the -- the board meeting, so I drove to the hospital. And then... yeah, the last thing I remember was being in the parking garage. And then I just -- I woke up here.
Kevin: You woke up? You mean you were unconscious?
Laura: Oh, my God, the vote -- the hospital vote. I've got to get to --
Kevin: It's okay, it's okay. GH is fine. Even the nurses are back. It's up and running.
Kevin: I'll fill you in later, but right now, let's just focus on you. Laura, you lost some hours.
Laura: Yeah, I guess I did. I'm here at JFK. That's hours away from Port Charles. Why? I mean, what happened to me? I -- I lost these hours, and... and I have no idea why I'm here.
Tracy: Could you at least decide on an appetizer? I do not like to eat alone.
Finn: I'm sure whatever your order will be perfect. Would you -- would you excuse me for a minute? I've been, uh -- I've been consulting with a doctor in California about a case, and we've been navigating the time difference. I need to call her.
Hayden: Really? You need to make a call? Now?
Finn: Yes, I need to make a call now.
Hayden: Nice euphemism.
Finn: I'll be right back.
Tracy: What was that all about? You know, you're awfully edgy for someone who just emerged victorious from a hospital takeover. Do you wanna talk about it?
Hayden: I'm grateful for Finn's last-ditch efforts to save the hospital. I was caught off guard, I admit, and...
Tracy: Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah. It's more than that. Spit it out.
Hayden: Tracy, I wouldn't tell you if I wasn't so worried and scared, but... Finn's addicted to Zekenestrol.
Jake: Why'd you wanna talk to me alone? Did I do something wrong?
Franco: No, no no no no. You -- you... no, Jake, you didn't do anything wrong. I have something to tell you. Um...your dad and Sam had their baby. You have a little sister.
Jake: Wow. It was a girl? Don't worry, Danny and I will watch out for her. We already talked about it.
Franco: Yeah, I have no doubt.
Jake: But, why didn't Dad call me and tell me himself?
Franco: 'Cause he's still at the hospital.
Jake: But, why couldn't he call from there?
Franco: It's complicated.
Jake: Something went wrong. Sam and the baby aren't okay, are they?
Jason: Hey, Alexis. Uh, it's me. I found Sam. Um, she had the baby. The baby's great, the baby's fine, but, um, Sam's in surgery so you probably should get to the hospital as soon as you can. I'm here now. If you wanna call me, I can update you before you get here. Okay, bye.
Jason: Hey, thank you.
Robin: Here you go. You're sure I can't get you something to eat?
Jason: No, no. I'm fine, I'm fine.
Robin: It might be a long night.
Jason: I'm just making phone calls to my partner and to, uh -- to Alexis. I realized she didn't know what was going on.
Robin: You have a partner?
Jason: Yeah, I've been, um, working with a guy, uh, trying to figure out who killed Morgan.
Robin: Wow. So, do you think Olivia Jerome...
Jason: You know what? I have had about enough of that name for one day.
Jason: I'm glad you're here. How'd you know?
Robin: I didn't, actually. Um, I was visiting my mom, and then, uh, I heard the news about General Hospital being saved from becoming a luxury condo development, so I went downstairs to celebrate. [Chuckles]
Jason: Well, that's good news, right? How's your mom?
Robin: She's improving.
Robin: But I don't wanna give her the news about Olivia Jerome. My mom really needs to take it easy, and the news about that woman being alive -- that would -- that would definitely have a negative impact.
Elizabeth: Hey, I just got an update from the OR. They're doing everything they can, but Sam is critical.
Kevin: Your pulse is good. Your eyes are a little dilated. You feel nauseous?
Laura: Yeah, a little. My brain feels fuzzy, and I just -- it's not like I have a headache or anything, but I feel really dizzy. You think I got knocked out?
Kevin: No. I think you were drugged. You said you were at the Metro Court. Do you remember anyone or anything out of the ordinary?
Laura: Uh, Alexis came by to talk to me for a little while. Nina and Valentin were there. They're out of the ordinary, but they kept their distance. Um, there was a guy there who walked by my table and accidentally knocked my purse over, but he was perfectly nice. Although, he did say something about my coffee. But still, why would anybody want to drug me and bring me here?
Kevin: There was a lot at stake at GH. Maybe someone didn't want you to vote.
Laura: Who would do that?
Kevin: Let's figure it out later. Right now, I wanna get you to a hospital, I wanna contact the police, and you still need to rest.
Laura: Yeah, I guess I do. Wait a minute. How did you find me?
Kevin: You don't remember that, either?
Kevin: You texted me.
Tracy: I had a feeling something wasn't right with Finn. His behavior is still erratic. I thought maybe it was his recovery, but, well, it did occur to me that maybe he was using.
Hayden: Yes. He's using, and he can't kick it. I've confronted him about it. Did you know that he used the ELQ jet to go to Canada to score more drugs? He never went to New York to meet with Healy. That's why I was so desperate to reach you the other day.
Tracy: He used the ELQ jet to leave the country and score illegal drugs?
Tracy: He put my -- my company in jeopardy. I should string him up.
Hayden: Now do you see how I feel? He acts all loving, caring, and altruistic one minute, and then the next he's -- he's lying, and he behaves recklessly. When you think about it, we don't really know who the real Finn is or what he's capable of. We've never really known him when he's not high. How am I supposed to have a relationship with somebody I don't even know?
Tracy: Okay, but that's not the real problem. Yes, Zen-Zen will destroy your relationship. It'll destroy all of his relationships and end his career. But the real issue is it will kill him, and he's obviously not facing that, so we have to.
Jason: Sam is critical?
Elizabeth: While the doctors were operating, she coded.
Jason: She what? What does that mean, she coded?
Robin: It means her heart stopped. And I know that's terrifying, but it doesn't mean she's dying.
Jason: Can you, uh, just keep me updated? Please?
Elizabeth: Of course.
Jason: Thank you. [Breathing deeply]
Robin: Jason, just listen to me, okay? Patients code all the time, okay? More than you know. But we have a way of bringing them back and holding them while we work on that trauma. You have to trust the doctors, okay? Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. And -- and you have to trust Sam. She knows she has a brand-new baby girl. She knows Danny needs her.
Jason: Hey, Robin --
Robin: She knows that you need her, too.
Jason: Robin [Sniffles] I appreciate what you're doing, but, uh... my wife might not make it. And I couldn't protect her, and I can't do anything right now. So just [Hits desk] That's not helping.
Robin: You can pray.
Robin: You can imagine the four of you together, happy and whole. Some call it a, um, visualization, I guess. I -- I call it faith. And it's been my most powerful ally, the most powerful medicine I've ever had in my life. I mean, it's -- it's given me my future. It will give you yours, too. Hey. We can do it together, okay?
Michael: Just tell me what you mean. Explain to me what really happened.
Carly: We already know. It's all right here. Why don't we play it and let Nelle explain after?
Nelle: Michael, I swear to you, I threw the flash drive away, because I wanted this to be over, okay? I wanted -- I did not -- I wanted to stop this.
Michael: You wanted what to be over? What game are you playing? I saw the flowers, Nelle, with the card initialed "S." And I know my father. That is nothing he would ever do -- send flowers to a woman that he's cheating with. But you slept with him once, Nelle. That's not an affair. Why would you make it look like that?
Sonny: It's a con. Michael, the flowers -- where did you see those flowers?
Michael: On the bar at the Metro Court.
Sonny: On -- on top of the bar where they're open for everybody to see, right? Who would do that? Somebody that wants everybody to see there's a card with an initial in it, you know what I mean?
Carly: There's no question that Nelle set you up, Sonny, but that doesn't change the fact that you slept with her in the first place. And you kept your dirty little secret. And you left the rest of us, Michael included, vulnerable to her lies. You did that.
Sonny: I was out of mind when Morgan died. I was consumed, trying to find who killed him. Nelle was the least of my problems. When I started to pay attention, she put it in motion.
Carly: Nelle wasn't supposed to love me. You were.
Sonny: I do love you.
Carly: You lied to me. Every day. Every day, you looked me in the face and you kept quiet. So, whatever Nelle wanted, you helped her get it.
Michael: This is your last chance, Nelle. If you have any way to explain this... ...anything to say to me, say it now.
Finn: Sorry about that. Oh, that bottle's the saddest sight I've ever seen. Could we get another bottle over here? This one's on me. Listen, if you'll indulge me, I -- I'd very much like to make a toast to the two of you.
Tracy: No. There will be no more toasts tonight. In fact, what we're gonna do... is talk about you and Zen-Zen.
Franco: Your new kid sister is doing just fine.
Jake: But Sam isn't?
Franco: She's sick, but she's a really strong woman. You wanna tell me what's on your mind? Okay, fine. You can pick the movie. Just this once, I'll make an exception.
Jake: I was mean to her. All last year, I was mean to Sam.
Franco: Okay, all right. Sam has forgiven you. I'm sure that she loves you. I know she -- she knows that you're such a great kid, and you were just going through a tough time.
Jake: But, maybe...
Franco: Maybe what?
Jake: Maybe she's gonna be having tough times, too.
Franco: Okay, why would you say that?
Jake: Because of the curse. Sam has a very, very bad curse on her.
Robin: Aww, look at her. She's spectacular.
Robin: She needs her daddy right now. And you need her, too.
Jason: Look at you.
Robin: You look so cute holding her.
Jason: Remember me? Of course, you remember me. Don't you, Scout?
Jason: [Chuckles] Yeah, well, that's Danny's name for her. Sam and I just, uh, started calling her Scout, too. Sam's a good mom.
Robin: She's gonna make it, Jason. You have to trust her.
Jason: I hold this little girl, and, uh... I start thinking about my life with Sam, our family, and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how I got here. I was alone for so long -- no memories, no past, nothing to lose. And now, I'm... well, I've got everything to lose.
Robin: And everything to love, and everything to fight for.
Robin: Jason, you're the bravest person I know. It takes courage to love and to open your heart.
Jason: I love Sam so much. And it wasn't that long ago that I thought I was incapable of those type of feelings. Uh, well, Sam, she changed all that.
Jason: And then our kids came along. And this whole new world opened up for me. Truth is, uh, Sam holds it all together. She made me a better father. She made me a better man. And I'm holding our little girl right now, and all I can feel is afraid, because I don't know how any of this works without Sam.
Jason: I know, I know.
Michael: If any part of our friendship was real, if any part of what you said to me was true, now is the time to tell me.
Nelle: Michael, this is why I didn't want us getting close, why -- why I constantly pushed you away, you know. But I couldn't help myself, because... I kept find myself wanting to spend time with you, because you're so caring and kind. And then I started to second-guess myself. And last night at the cabin, you made me believe that I could be this happy person instead of this -- this bad, angry person. You could see me for the real me, and actually appreciate me. But I had to stop what I had in motion. And then I found out that Bobbie had already told Carly... and it was too late.
Michael: So you decided to run.
Nelle: Yes. I was gonna go to -- I was gonna go to Atlanta. But then, when you said that you wanted to come with me, I -- I thought, you know, great. Maybe -- maybe this could give me the chance to make you understand, and I am -- I am so, so sorry, Michael.
Carly: Wow, look at the tears, right on time. How about that? You're good. You are. You're really good -- up to a point, till someone figures out your game.
Sonny: I want -- I wanna hear it. All these months of lying and playing games -- I wanna know why. What's the point, Nelle?
Carly: No, I don't. I don't wanna hear the sob story, because all the excuses and the explanations -- it's all crap. You're a scheming piece of trash, whose kidney, by chance, wound up in my daughter. And, man, you decided to ride that gravy train for all it's worth, huh? Well, I only wish that Josslyn didn't have your cold blood running inside of her.
Laura: What did I say?
Kevin: "JFK." And I'm pretty sure you weren't referring to the president or to the movie. And I was already pretty worried, because Tracy kept blowing up my phone trying to find you. You'll probably find several missed calls from me on here.
Laura: Mm, but how did you find me here?
Kevin: Well, I'd love to say it was my sleuthing prowess, but turns out when it comes to tracking someone's phone, they actually make an app.
Kevin: That's how I found you.
Laura: [Chuckles] Well, either way, you're a genius.
Kevin: No. No, but I am touched.
Kevin: Because even in your stupor, you reached out to me.
Laura: I guess I knew that you would be here for me.
Kevin: And here I will always be.
Finn: You told her. Why would you do that to me?
Tracy: Oh, the fact that you're reacting like that tells me a lot. She told me because she's worried about you. She doesn't want you to die.
Finn: I don't wanna die. I-I told Hayden I would get help, and I will.
Tracy: And when? When you get arrested for possession or DUI, or stopped at the border with your stash? Because you will never have the ELQ jet at your disposal ever again. So tell me, when?
Tracy: Would that be before you misdiagnose a patient or after you inadvertently kill someone?
Finn: Don't say that. That would never happen. I've never been that far gone.
Tracy: How do you know? How do you know you won't OD? Oh, and by the way, if you do OD, sorry, too late to get help.
Finn: What is this? Listen, I've got this under control. I'm going to quit.
Tracy: Said by every addict I've ever known.
Finn: I promised you I will -- for you. And now, will you please tell Tracy I'm gonna be okay?
Hayden: I can't do that.
Finn: What do you want me to say? What do you want me to say? I said I will quit. I will quit, all right? Now, will you both please just back off?
Tracy: Do I look like the back-off type? You will quit. You will quit immediately, because if you don't, you can rest assured that I will make your life a living hell.
Hayden: So will I.
Nelle: Oh, so now you wish Joss didn't have my kidney? Well, it's a little late for that one.
Carly: Oh. You were so sweet, so self-effacing. You know, you kept telling me over and over again how you would never choose to donate your kidney. And now I see that that's true, because you would never do something like that. You would never be so selfless. I mean, you -- you are either deeply damaged or flat-out psychotic. I regret any pity I ever wasted on you. I mean, whatever your parents did to you, that's on them, not on me.
Nelle: All right, well, you know what? Maybe I am as bad as you say. But it's not because of my parents that I'm this way. It's because of you.
Franco: Why would you say something like that? And who would put a curse on Sam, anyway?
Jake: Helena Cassadine. She hated Sam. She told me if she died, bad things would always happen to Sam. And it sounds like she was right.
Jason: Well, sleep tight. Hopefully next time when you wake up, you'll get to see Mom.
[Knocks on window]
Elizabeth: Sam's out of surgery. They're moving her to the ICU.
Elizabeth: Jason, you should go see her -- right now.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Monica (to Alexis): Sam had complications from surgery, and at the moment, she's in a coma.
Jason (to Sam): I'm not strong enough to do any of this without you.
Griffin (to Olivia Jerome): Can I help you with that?
Anna (to Robin): What are you not telling me?
Nelle (to Carly): What goes around comes around, bitch!
[Carly slaps Nelle]
