Alexis: Sam texted you that she was spending the night with me?

Jason:  Well, she said that you were having a hard time about not drinking, and you asked her to spend time with you.

Alexis: No. That's not what happened. That is not what happened at all. I got my 30-day chip today. This is one of the few days I'm not struggling.

[Chip clatters]

Jason: This doesn't make any sense. I don't think that Sam sent that text.

Alexis: Somebody else has Sam's phone?

Jason: I'm gonna try her again.

[Cell phone ringing]

Alexis: Is that --

Jason: It's coming from your purse.

[Ringing continues]

Julian: Is that you, you psycho witch?

Olivia Jerome: Temper, temper, Julian. I had a couple of my associates pick you up and bring you over here, because I thought it was best that we wait together to see if General Hospital will be sold to me.

Tracy: You are in a foul mood. Something happen with you and Finn?

Finn: Oh, hi. Good evening. Tracy, you're looking corporate and formidable.

Tracy: Flatterer.

Finn: May I speak to you for one moment in private?

Felicia: Hi, Bobbie. I got you a coffee. I can't stay late. Mac got the flu while I was in Atlanta.

Bobbie: Oh, honey, I'm so sorry that Mac's not feeling well, but I have to tell you, I have literally not been able to sleep ever since you told me that you discovered Nelle's big secret. Are you absolutely sure it's true?

Felicia: Oh, Bobbie. I'm sure.

Nelle: You know, I have to admit, I am very impressed the way you drove down the mountain in all that snow.

Michael: Yeah, well, the snow was plowed. It's not too big of a deal. You know, if we didn't have to get back to Port Charles, I would have gladly stayed another night.

Nelle: Well, you have to get back to GH to vote to save the hospital, and I have to take care of one last thing, a very important thing. And as soon as it's done, I can start over.

Carly: You know, it's official. We've been in bed all day.

Sonny: Any complaints?

Carly: Mm, none whatsoever. [Laughing] Mm.

Sonny: Wait, where you going?

Carly: I'm going home.

Sonny: What?

Carly: I'm going home to pack and to explain to Josslyn that we're moving back in here with you.

Sonny: Oh.

Carly: [Laughs]

Tracy: Clearly, you want privacy. I can take a hint.

Finn: Thank you.

Hayden: How much Zekenestrol did you take to make you look this chipper?

Finn: Hayden, listen. I swear, I'm gonna get help. And I'm gonna kick my dependence on Zekenestrol. I'll do anything. I don't want to lose you.

Monica: Well, do we have enough votes to save the hospital?

Tracy: We will if Laura shows up. She was supposed to be here 20 minutes ago.

Olivia Jerome: Laura Spencer was going to vote with the Quartermaines, so she's been temporarily sidetracked. Poor thing. But now the board is going to vote to sell to me. Which means you get to live.

Julian: [Breathing heavily] You know I don't give a damn about me. Where's my daughter? What have you done with Sam?!

Alexis: How did that phone get into my purse? It was not there this morning.

Jason: I don't have any idea, but... have you been in contact with anybody since you've gotten here?

Alexis: I-I met Laura briefly. I came here to meet with my sponsor.

Jason: All right, uh, have you left your purse unattended?

Alexis: I got a phone call from Diane, and I walked away for a second to take it, but -- but my sponsor was still at the table.

Jason: Have you seen this woman?

Alexis: That's a really old picture, it looks like, but, yeah.

Jason: You know this person?

Alexis: That's my AA sponsor.

Felicia: I went to the school that Nelle used to work at in Atlanta, and I found a friend of hers, another teacher's aide.

Bobbie: Why would a friend open up to a complete stranger about Nelle's secret?

Felicia: Oh, because I have a very trustworthy face. And I told her that my daughter works at Crimson magazine and that Nelle is on the short list to be named Crimson magazine woman of the month, and I need to interview a few friends of hers. She was so touched. She opened up about everything.

Bobbie: And now we know exactly whose life Nelle has been touching the most.

Sonny: A few months ago, I thought, uh -- I thought it was over and that you weren't coming back.

Carly: Me too. You know, my anger at you kept me going, you know, but it also kept me from grieving our son. There were times that I just wanted to bury myself in your arms and remember Morgan together, but I just couldn't let myself do that. I'm sorry.

Sonny: No, you ain't got nothing to be sorry about. You know, Thanksgiving night, um... ...I was -- for sure thought that our marriage was done and you were with Jax for good, and... I just imagined the worst.

Carly: No, no, no.

Sonny: No, listen. No, you got to listen to me.

Carly: No, all that is over.

Sonny: No, it's not.

Carly: Yes, listen to me. It's over. Because I'm here with you, right where I belong.

Nelle: You know, our talk last night really affected me. I absolutely plan to put an end to what I started.

Michael: Nelle, why are you taking all the blame on yourself? I mean, come on, what about your -- your boyfriend?

Nelle: [Exhales sharply] It's complicated. Um... he's -- he's involved.

Michael: I think you mean married.

Nelle: I'm sorry. You know, and I know that if his wife found out, it would absolutely devastate her. But, you know, you made me realize that I would just be devastating myself. I've spent way too much time chasing ghosts form my past. You know, I want to focus on my future and figure out what I want. And I definitely want more time with you.

Michael: Huh. Well, finally, she has seen the light.

Nelle: [Chuckles] There are just a few things that I need to fix after you go, and then, by the end of the night, I will be free to focus on you and do whatever we decide to do. I don't know, Michael, I'm telling you -- I feel like a new person today.

Michael: Yeah?

Nelle: Yeah.

Michael: Well, hey, don't -- don't change too much. I like the old Nelle just fine. Mm, okay. Um, I'll see you in a little bit, okay?

Nelle: Okay. Ah. Okay. Okay. Don't need you anymore. All right, now let's lose the copy on my hard drive. [Sighs] Yes, please. All that's left now is the copy I sent to Carly.

Carly: [Laughs] I have to leave.

Sonny: Why do you --

Carly: So I can pack and move back in forever.

Sonny: Tell you what.

Carly: Mm?

Sonny: Why don't we make this official again?

Carly: I never filed for divorce, so we're still official.

Sonny: Fresh start. Why don't we renew our wedding vows?

Carly: Really? You want to renew our vows for the sixth time?

Sonny: I know I'm not the perfect Catholic, but I like the ritual of my faith, and there's something about swearing to be true to each other in a church in front of God.

Carly: [Clicks tongue] Oh. You know, if it's important to you, then it's important to me.

Sonny: And I would love to have, uh... Griffin do the ceremony.

Carly: I didn't think he was still a practicing priest.

Sonny: There's ways to get over that. No, no, he's done a lot. I mean, he's given me a lot...of advice. And I just want him to do the honors.

Carly: If he's willing, that's fine with me.

[Cell phone rings]

Carly: Mm. All right, well, packing's gonna have to be postponed.

Sonny: Is that work?

Carly: No, it's my mom. She wants to meet me at the coffee shop. She has something important to discuss. Hmm.

Sonny: Listen, when you tell her about us moving in, can you ease into it a little bit?

Carly: My mom likes you most of the time.

Sonny: [Laughs] And I will continue to win her over. Starting with making her daughter happy.

Carly: I didn't think I was ever gonna be happy again. But I am. And I love you.

Sonny: I love you.

Carly: I got to go.

Sonny: You got to go nowhere.

Carly: I got to go.

Hayden: I see -- kicking your addiction depends on me staying with you. That's spoken like a true addict.

Finn: Hey, just give me one chance.

Hayden: [Sighs] Just go. Let me do my job.

Finn: Good luck with the board.

Tracy: Well, Lulu hasn't seen Laura. Neither has Kevin.

Monica: Damn it. We need her vote.

Mr. Gray: Time to start this meeting.

Tracy: Uh, no, actually, we have a few minutes. Um, Michael Corinthos is on his way and so is Laura Spencer.

Julian: What did you do to my daughter? Answer me.

Olivia Jerome: I -- okay, okay. It -- there was an accident.

Julian: What kind of an accident?

Olivia: Sam attacked me, and she wound up... falling off a bridge.

Jason: This is your AA sponsor? You're sure?

Alexis: Yes, I'm sure. Who is she? And why do you have a picture of her?

Jason: Her real name is Olivia Jerome. Julian shot her in 1990, as a result, she was pronounced dead, but I just got back from her grave, and it's empty.

Alexis: You're telling me that my sponsor, Liv, is Julian's sister?

Jason: Yeah, I think she's been pulling Julian's strings for a very long time. And I am almost dead positive she is the one that set up the bomb that killed Morgan.

Alexis: No, no, no, no. No. She's my sponsor. She's been helping me to stay sober.

Jason: I'm sorry to tell you this, but I think that was a front, too. I think it was a way to control Julian.

Alexis: He met her. I walked in on the two of them talking. Julian knew that his sister was duping me, and he didn't say a word. Oh, my God. Sam met her.

Jason: Okay, that must be what happened.

Alexis: Jason, do you think that she did something to Sam?

Sam: [Sighs]

[Sirens wailing]

Sam: Hear that, Scout? They're coming for us. Oh. Someone must have saw us and called 911. [Exhales] They're helping us.

Julian: You just left Sam there? After she fell off a damn bridge?!

Olivia Jerome: I am sure that the snow softened her fall.

Julian: She is your niece, Liv. She's pregnant right now, about to give birth. I -- I mean, I just don't understand how you could possibly be so damn heartless.

Olivia: I think I told you that she attacked me. She attacked me. I had no intention of hurting her.

Julian: [Screams]

Olivia: None! I wasn't gonna hurt her. I didn't intend to hurt her. And -- and you're the one who's heartless! You deserve everything I've thrown at you.

[Cell phone rings]

Olivia: [Sighs] Oh, Alexis is calling you. Wonder why.

Alexis: Julian, you son of a bitch, you pick up the phone! Your sister has done something to our daughter. And I'm not talking about Ava. I'm talking about your other sister, Olivia. Remember her? You know, my sponsor? You better find out what she did to our daughter. I'm gonna -- I'm gonna call her. I'm gonna call her myself. I'll tell her I'm having some sort of crisis.

Jason: No, don't do it. Don't do that, not yet. If this goes wrong, and she figures out that we're on to her, that could be worse for Sam. Just sit tight.

Alexis: Will you please, please do something?

Jason: I'm doing something right now. I'm checking her phone. I have no idea how you got it, but if Sam knew she was in trouble, she might have left something in here to tip me off.

[Sirens wail]

Sam: Down here. We're down here.

[Sirens fade]

Sam: Okay. Okay, that wasn't for us. It's okay. Mama's gonna get us out of here. Come on, Scout, we can do this. Ah! Ooh! [Panting]

Michael: Sorry I'm late.

Hayden: Where's Laura?

Tracy: Look, one of our members is running behind schedule. So perhaps we could postpone.

Mr. Gray: No, let's get on with this. Ms. Barnes can give her presentation.

Michael: Hopefully Laura will be here by the time we vote.

Hayden: So, as everyone can see, the money from the Quartermaine family matches the real-estate development offer dollar-for-dollar. Any questions?

Tracy: Yes, uh, yes. Could you review the projected operating figures so that we can reassure the board that the hospital can stay in the black.

Mr. Gray: You're stalling. All in favor of voting now?

Monica: Uh, that was an excellent presentation, Hayden. And now we have to leave. It is standard policy. We cannot be around for the vote.

[Door closes]

Dr. Obrecht: How is the board meeting going?

Monica: Don't you have patients to see?

Dr. Obrecht: I've seen all my patients. I have a job to do here.

Monica: What? At the board meeting? What could that possibly be?

Sonny: I'm sorry, but isn't bussing trays a little bit below your pay grade?

Griffin: Yeah, well, the nurses staged a sick-out for justifiable grievances. In the meantime, we all got to pitch in.

Sonny: Can't help you with nurses, but I can get you some servers and workers if you need it. I'll even cover the cost.

Griffin: Wow. Thank you. I'll let you know if that becomes necessary. I know you didn't come down here to discuss the hospital labor crisis. What's up?

Sonny: Carly and I are getting back together. She's moving in. It's official.

Griffin: That's great. I guess the prayers I put in for you worked.

Sonny: I appreciate everything you've done for me. And I got one more favor to ask. I was wondering if -- we're gonna be renewing our wedding vows, and I'd like you to officiate.

Griffin: Whose idea was it to renew the vows?

Sonny: Mine.

Griffin: Would this have anything to do with the woman you slept with while you and Carly were separated?

Nelle: Okay, message to Carly is sent. Now, where is that flash drive? Please tell me Carly didn't already open it. No. No, of course she didn't, 'cause if she did, I would have heard something by now.

Noah: Hey, Nelle.

Nelle: Is that today's mail?

Noah: Yeah.

Nelle: All right, where's yesterday's mail? I was snowed up in the mountains.

Noah: Maybe it's been opened already.

Nelle: Well, no, no, no, did you see it? Did you see Carly opening it?

Noah: No, but her mom was here last night, right when I was dropping off the mail. There was a lot of it. She said something about getting it organized for Carly.

Carly: Hey, Mom. I can't stay long, okay, because --

[Cell phone rings]

Oh, hold on. I have to take this. It might be Josslyn. Oh, it's Nelle. "Home from the cabin. I hope you're taking it easy with Sonny." That's sweet.

Bobbie: What's this about a cabin?

Carly: I sent Nelle up to the cabin to get it ready for me and Sonny. The storm hit sooner than expected, and poor Nelle was stranded.

Bobbie: Oh, yeah, poor Nelle.

Carly: Really? I thought we were past that.

Bobbie: Actually, Nelle is the reason I needed to see you.

Carly: Why?

Bobbie: Okay. There's no way to ease into this, so I recruited Felicia to dust off her PI skills and investigate nelle's background.

Carly: You did what?

Bobbie: And Felicia found something. Something big.

Tracy: Laura here?

Hayden: No, I've been calling and texting, but nothing.

Monica: What happened with the vote?

Michael: Okay, well, the board is deadlocked. Four votes to sell to the condo developer and four votes for the Quartermaine deal.

Monica: So there's no resolution until Laura arrives.

Dr. Obrecht: Actually, this is where I come in.

Hayden: To do what?

Dr. Obrecht: Break the tie.

Shane: [Sighs] Dr. Hamilton Finn. I'm Shane Healy.

Finn: From Biospen Pharmaceuticals. You're the meeting I didn't attend yesterday.

Shane: Snowstorm of the century. I get it.

Finn: No, I don't think you do. Snowstorm didn't make me miss the meeting, you did. See, I'm a doctor, but I'm also a researcher. And I researched your company. Now, Biospen, they're more about greed than they are about actually healing people, aren't they?

Shane: Well... can't fund research unless you generate profits.

Finn: Right. Thing is, the vast majority of people that suffer from Blackwood's are in developing countries, and they can't afford high-priced medication. But I imagine that's not who you're gonna be selling to anyway, is it? No, you're gonna take my formula, and you're gonna tweak it and you're gonna use it to treat some first-world illness. And you're gonna jack up the price, and you're all gonna get rich. Do I have it right so far?

Shane: We feel your formula has expanded applications. That's why we're so interested.

Finn: Yeah, well, Shane, thanks, but no, thanks.

Shane: Well, I haven't shown you our offer.

Sonny: Renewing my vows with Carly, it's kind of like a clean slate.

Griffin: Right, so you can move forward from your one-night stand as though it never happened.

Sonny: The advice you gave me a while back was not to hurt Carly if I didn't need to.

Griffin: That's true, I did, but speaking as a man and not a priest, I could tell you from my personal experience, secrets rarely stay kept. It's how they come out that matters. Are you absolutely certain that Carly's not gonna find out?

Nelle: Bobbie Spencer was going through Carly's mail, and you let her?

Noah: Why not? It's Carly's mother. What's the big deal?

Nelle: Look. Bobbie has a tendency to be dramatic and to make things a bigger deal than they actually are.

Noah: Chill. It's just mail. It looked like most of it was junk anyway.

Nelle: Okay, what did Bobbie do with it? Did you see her opening any of it?

Noah: No clue.

Bobbie: My gut has been telling me that girl is bad news. And that's exactly what Felicia found out. I'm really sorry, honey. 'Cause the person this news is going to hurt the most is you.

Carly: Can you tell me? I'm a big girl. I can handle it.

Bobbie: You remember when Nelle had the chance to go back to her old job in Atlanta and she didn't?

Carly: Yeah, because she has a boyfriend. I know she has a boyfriend. He sent her flowers to the Metro Court the other day. Card signed "S." Okay, if you're gonna tell me that Felicia uncovered that nelle's having an affair with a married man, that doesn't surprise me, Mom. You know that's an easy mistake for young girls to make. I made it. You made it. We can't condemn Nelle for having an affair.

Bobbie: Carly. The "S" stands for Sonny.

Finn: Not gonna sell my formula unless it's on my terms. And that means getting it to the people who need it the most.

Shane: With this money, you could spend the rest of your life in a state-of-the-art lab, concocting new medicines to defeat whatever disease you want.

Finn: I've already discovered a cure for a devastating illness. And now you expect me to just sell it off to your company without any control over how it's gonna be used or how much you're gonna charge for it, so I will repeat my answer again -- no, never. Wow. Well, that's a lot of money.

Shane: [Sighs] In case you ever change your mind.

Hayden: I don't understand. You're not the chief of staff. Why would you have a tie-breaking vote?

Tracy: [Scoffs] Apparently during her reign of terror, she appointed herself an alternate board member in case of a tie.

Monica: That's not legal.

Michael: Fred Gray already filled us in on this wrinkle. Tracy and I have been arguing with the GH lawyers. This provision is valid, and it is legal.

Dr. Obrecht: I've been doing my research. Hospitals that are privately owned can turn the neediest patients away.

Tracy: And when did you become a paragon of charity and good will, concerned with the neediest?

Monica: That's not being helpful, Tracy.

Tracy: I am -- I am grateful that we are on the same page, and we are concerned with the less fortunate citizens of Port Charles.

Olivia Jerome: The board is going to be voting any minute now. And then we'll see whether you get to live or die.

Julian: [Laughs] So you buy GH, then what?

Olivia: You'll see. It's going to be epic.

Alexis: I know my daughter. She's -- she's in trouble. Fine. I'm gonna call back. They took the report. They won't act on it.

Jason: Yeah, I figured. That's why it's up to us.

Alexis: Did you find anything on the phone?

Jason: No, no -- well, hold up. Wait, wait, wait, what is this?

Alexis: What is it?

Jason: It's a picture. It was taken before the phony text was sent.

Alexis: But does it tell you where she is? Can you tell from that? That looks like some sort of a charm or memento hanging from the rear -- what does that mean?

Jason: It means Sam was in this car when the picture was taken, and I know where the picture was taken.

Alexis: Okay, let's go.

Jason: No. I need you to go see Jordan. You tell her about Olivia. You tell her to overlook the 24-hour hold to get a search out for Sam. If you need somebody to verify your story, call Curtis Ashford, you got me?

Alexis: You bring her back home.

Jason: I'll find her. I got it, I got it. I'll be back.

Sam: Okay. Okay, Scout, okay. Well, that was a contraction. [Exhales sharply] That means you're ready to be born. But we can't do it here. I know getting pushed off the bridge and rolled down the hill was tough on you. But if Mommy promises you not to fall again, can you wait? Please, baby. Wait until Mommy can get you to a hospital. Okay. All right, baby, I'm gonna get us out of here. Ahh! Oh! Ooh, no, no, no, no, no. Ooh, no, that's too fast. Oh, they're coming too fast. Ooh.

Nelle: Ah. God. This must be it. No, no, no, no. What did Bobbie do with it? [Breathing heavily] She better not have given it to Carly. No. No, I would have heard something. Michael would have heard something. Oh, God, please, please, please, please. Please don't let her have that envelope.

Sonny: This young woman I slept with is close to Carly. For whatever reason, Carly thinks she's the greatest.

Griffin: So if the truth comes out, that's gonna make it worse.

Sonny: Well, she keeps saying that she's not gonna say anything, but I don't trust this girl as far as I can throw her. I can't figure out her game.

Griffin: So there's a real risk that despite what she's telling you, she might spill the truth to Carly.

Sonny: I don't -- I keep telling myself that she's not gonna say anything. But if I had to be honest... it's a huge risk.

Carly: Nelle's having an affair with Sonny?

Bobbie: I'm so sorry. Felicia went to Atlanta. And she found a close friend of Nelle's who works at the school where Nelle used to work. And it took some persuading, but eventually, the girl admitted that Nelle was involved with her boss' husband. Apparently, Nelle said the affair was serious, and she was terrified you were going to find out. Carly, say something.

Carly: I don't need to say anything. You seem to have all the answers.

Bobbie: I know this hurts. And I'm sorry, but you got to be smart. Think about it. There were signs. Maybe you didn't want to see them, but they were there. Haven't you noticed how tense Sonny gets every time Nelle's name is mentioned? And I heard him warn Michael away from her. It makes sense. What are you thinking?

Carly: I'm thinking that Felicia misunderstood or this girl in Atlanta is lying. And I know you don't like Nelle, so you're gonna see what you want to see. But, Mom, I know Sonny. He would never do this. He wouldn't do this with Nelle. He wouldn't do this with anyone, not after we lost Morgan. And you know what? I'm gonna prove it to you.

Finn: [Sighs] How's it going in there?

Monica: Not good, not good at all.

Tracy: All those in favor of selling General Hospital to the real-estate developer? Doctor, your vote?

Dr. Obrecht: The hospital is going under. It's inevitable. Despite all the money your family is throwing at it. If the ship is going down, I don't want the Quartermaines having all the power and control. When I was chief of staff, you manipulated the board into firing me -- big mistake. I vote we sell to the real-estate developer.

[Cell phone rings]

Olivia Jerome: You got a message from Fred Gray. Congratulations, brother. I won GH. And you won a stay of execution.

Julian: Then let me go. Let me go find my daughter.

Sam: Okay. Five breaths, right? [Breathing heavily] Oh! Ooh, no, no, no, Scout. Oh, please wait. Please. Wait till I can get you to the road. Oh, please.

Jason: Sam?

Sam: Oh, God, Scout, slow down. Oh, there you go. Oh, no, no. No, no, no, no, not yet. Oh.

Jason: Sam! Sam, can you hear me? Sam!

Sam: Jason?

Jason: Can you hear me? Sam, answer me! Sam!

Sam: Jason? Jason, down here.

Jason: Sam!

Sam: Jason, help! Ah! Ooh.

Carly: Nelle? Nelle, it's Carly. Okay. Yes. That's a gift. Whew. All right. Nelle? Nelle? Nelle? Nelle? [Sighs] This is crazy. Sonny's never been here. Sonny's not interested in you. Hell, Sonny doesn't even like Nelle. [Sighs] What the hell?

Sonny: I was gonna tell Carly everything last night. But she had this night planned for the two of us. She was so happy. She was laughing, and... I didn't want to cause her any more pain.

Griffin: Yeah, but, Sonny, isn't it gonna hurt Carly worse if she finds out from somebody else?

Sonny: [Sighs] Yeah, it is. And I can't let that happen. She's -- she's got to hear it from me.

Nelle: Oh! Oh, thank God. Thank God. [Breathing heavily] Everything's gonna be okay. Carly's never gonna know. [Sighs]

Carly: Okay, Nelle, why were you recording Sonny and why the hell would you delete it? [Sighs] And I wonder what's on you.

Sonny: Under no circumstance should Carly know that we had sex. You got to get yourself together, and if you see her, you can't say anything. You understand?

On the next "General Hospital" --

Jason: Sam!

Olivia Jerome (to Julian): And if you haven't learned that by now, well, it's high time that you did.

Monica: We'll know any minute whether or not our efforts saved General Hospital.

Michael (to Sonny): I have plans with Nelle.

Bobbie (to Nelle): Your game is over.

Carly: Oh, Nelle, you don't know anything about payback.
