Sonny: Who are you talking to?
Nelle: Okay, all clear.
Michael: All right. There you go. You all warmed up?
Nelle: I'm getting there.
Michael: The fire will do the rest.
Nelle: [Gasps] I can't.
Ava: Guard! I'd like to see the commissioner. There has been a gross miscarriage of justice here! If I don't see the commissioner as soon as possible, I'm gonna sue her! And I'm gonna sue the city and the mayor and the district attorney. And I'm gonna sue you, you personally! Do you hear me? Guard?
Ava: Well, it's about ti-- time.
Julian: [Sighs] Don't look so disappointed.
Ava: I imagine you're used to this reaction by now.
Julian: You have no idea.
Ava: Well, if you want a different one... tell me you're here to get me out.
Tracy: [Sighs] Come on, you've been at this for hours!
Hayden: Patience, Tracy, okay? The last thing you want to do is screw me up. Then I'll just have to start all over again.
Tracy: Just tell me. Are the Quartermaines going to be able to save the hospital or not?
Jason: Hey. I got your text.
Monica: Well, [Chuckles] That was quick. I just sent it five minutes ago.
Jason: Well, I was already at the hospital. Dr. Lee's office called and told Sam to come in.
Monica: There's nothing wrong with, uh, Sam or the baby, is there?
Jason: No, no, no, no, no. Everything's fine.
Monica: Oh, good.
Jason: But somebody did get their wires crossed because the appointment didn't happen.
Monica: Ah. Well, I know the nurses are out sick, but still, that's kind of odd.
Jason: It's fine. No harm, no foul. I get to see you for a minute. Sam's already gone, so I'm sure she's on her way back home.
Sam: I didn't know you came from a big family.
Olivia Jerome: Oh, I don't talk about it much. Not even to your mother. But, um, yeah. We went our separate ways a long time ago, and we had a seismic falling out. Lately, I've been drawn back to them.
Sam: Mm-hmm. There's no denying blood.
Olivia: I don't think that's it. [Scoffs] Huh? I...spent years trying to start over again after our estrangement. I focused on restoration, reinvention.
Olivia: Oh, I see you noticed my -- my ornament. It helps center me when I'm driving. Do you know these characters? Do they mean anything to you?
Julian: I don't like seeing you behind bars.
Ava: Then spring me. Go find the commissioner or the DA or whoever you need to find and tell them I had nothing to do with the bomb that killed Morgan.
Ava: Go away! I don't want to see your face!
Julian: Look. I know you're angry with me right now, and you have every right to be.
Ava: [Chuckles] Thank you so much. Your validation of my anger means so much to me!
Julian: If I could get you out of this situation, you know I would.
Ava: You can. You simply go upstairs and you tell the police that it wasn't me you were talking to in that recording. I don't understand why you haven't done that already. I'm your sister!
Julian: And you know how much you mean to me.
Ava: Not as much as you mean to me, quite obviously. When you were on trial for your life, I did absolutely everything I could to be sure that you were acquitted.
Ava: I blackmailed Paul Hornsby, remember? I risked being charged as an accessory to ensure your freedom, and this is how you repay me? Does what I did for you mean anything?
Julian: Of course, it does. And I'm gonna get you out of here soon. I promise.
Olivia Jerome: Clearly, my symbol has struck a chord with you.
Sam: It's -- it's beautiful.
Olivia: Something tells me it's a little more than that. Are you familiar with this character?
Sam: No. Not -- not that one specifically. Although I, um, um, I do know a little bit about the Chinese culture. My husband and I both do.
Olivia: Never would've guessed.
Sam: No, I bet not. Uh, we were married in a Chinese restaurant, actually. Oh. That encouraged us to learn a little bit more about the Chinese culture. The woman who owned the place -- she was really sweet. Her grandson performed the ceremony for us, and he invoked the symbols of the phoenix and the dragon.
Sam: Which symbolized strength and rebirth.
Olivia: Strength and rebirth. Yeah.
Olivia: Well, I find that these symbols, for those who believe, can infuse one with power. Remind you of who you really are, especially when they face tremendous odds.
Sam: Wow. I agree. [Chuckles lightly] So what do -- what do these symbols mean to you?
Olivia: Oh, well, it's pretty simple. From the translation... it means reincarnation.
Jason: So, why'd you need to see me?
Monica: Well, I wanted to let you know that Tracy and Hayden are crunching the final numbers as we speak.
Jason: That's good. Do you think we raised enough money to save the hospital?
Monica: I don't know. We'll find out when the board meets tomorrow, and they'll decide whether or not they want to sell to the developers.
Jason: Hopefully they can be convinced to see it our way.
Monica: Well, your contributions are going to put us in the running.
Jason: We all pitched in.
Monica: Still, thank you so very much.
Jason: I know what this hospital means to our family. And I guess this baby being on the way, it, uh, gave me a new appreciation for that.
Monica: Which brings me to the second part of my text to you. I, um, I don't think you would -- you would remember this.
Jason: [Chuckling] Should I remember that?
Monica: Well, it's been in a chest in the attic since you were a toddler.
Jason: This was mine?
Monica: Mm-hmm. Lila knitted it for you when you were born. There was a little consternation about your birth, but not with Lila. She was thrilled. She thought that you would just be a blessing to the Quartermaines. And she was right.
Jason: Well... [Clears throat] That's very nice of you to say. And, uh, thank you for this. I-I really appreciate this. So will Sam. So will the baby.
Monica: I love ya. See ya later.
Jason: Yep. Bye.
Hayden: Okay, keep in mind this is a quick and dirty assessment, okay?
Tracy: That was quick?
Hayden: Oh, I still need to adjust it for rate of inflation, as well as labor costs, okay?
Tracy: Okay, could you just bottom-line it for me, please? Are we gonna be able to keep the hospital open?
Monica: I'd like the answer to that question, too.
Hayden: Well, ladies... I think we did it. [
Michael: Ah. Uh, look. I know this whole thing... is pretty awkward. But, uh, don't worry, because I'm not gonna try and kiss you again, okay?
Nelle: I'm not worried. I just -- it can't happen.
Michael: Okay, uh... [Sighs] Look, I know you and your boyfriend -- you have an agreement. You don't have to see each other all the time. And I can respect that, if that's what you want.
Michael: But if this is your boyfriend's idea, uh, I'm sorry, but I-I-I have to say that this guy, whoever he is, is absolutely crazy.
Carly: You don't need to worry about who I was talking to.
Sonny: Actually, that's what's got me worried.
Carly: Oh, come on. Okay, if you must know, it was about your surprise.
Sonny: Oh, the surprise. Mm-hmm. So, what happens next?
Carly: I'm not gonna tell you. I'm gonna dangle it in front of you until I spring it on you.
Sonny: Well, that sounds mysterious. All right. Then what?
Carly: Uh, well, then there's a magic trick.
Sonny: Mm. Mm-hmm.
Carly: Yep. We're gonna make the whole world disappear.
Sonny: Can we start now?
Carly: No. I have a few more errands to run. I'll be back. Bye.
[Cell phone rings]
Jason: Hey, Sonny. What's up?
Sonny: We need to talk.
Hayden: Nothing is settled, but I think we can risk a little celebration.
Monica: Okay. I've got some sparkling cider in my office.
Tracy: No, no, no, no, no. We're not gonna count our chickens just yet. The board doesn't meet until tomorrow, and they could still vote to sell the hospital out from under us.
Monica: Wait a minute. We don't have to outbid the developers, do we? I mean, I thought we just had to come up with enough capital to keep the hospital open.
Hayden: Well, if we could do that, why would they want to sell?
Tracy: Some of the board members are concerned only with the well-being of the hospital. But there are other who, to put it delicately, are... greedy bastards.
Hayden: That's delicate?
Tracy: Have you met those board members?
Hayden: Yes, but I haven't spent that much time with them.
Monica: Believe me, the word is delicate.
Tracy: Those bloodsuckers are only concerned with a payday, and believe me, Fred Gray is leading the charge on that. I am convinced that he's made some side deals with the developers.
Hayden: Isn't that illegal?
Tracy: [Chuckles] Since when are you concerned with what's legal or not?
Hayden: It's a recent development in my evolution as a person.
Tracy: Okay, so, even if we were able to prove wrongdoing on Fred Gray's part, we don't have the time. The only thing we can do is make sure that we have the necessary board members on our side, and that, my friend, is yours to convince.
Ava: Well, how soon is soon? When can I expect to hear the jingle of keys unlocking this cell, letting me go home?
Julian: You need to be patient.
Ava: Mm. Okay, be patient, as in "hang in there another night," or be patient, as in "these next few years will fly by"?
Julian: Not that long.
Ava: Right. Blessings abound, eh?
[Cell door opens, closes]
Julian: I've -- I've left instructions with Alexis.
Ava: [Laughs] Well, Julian, I don't know if you're aware of this, but your ex-wife sort of hates me. Not as much as she hates you, but, of course, I didn't try to slice her throat open one romantic night out.
Julian: Okay, that is not --
Ava: Not what? [Chuckling] Come on. You can lie to Alexis all you want. You can't lie to me. [Sighs] So, how is it that Alexis is gonna get me out of here?
Julian: Everything will be clear soon. Just trust me, okay?
Ava: Again with "soon."
Julian: Look, I am sorry this is taking so long, okay? [Sighs] But Alexis won't receive those instructions... until after she hasn't heard from me.
Ava: Well, what does that mean? Why won't Alexis hear from you?
Sonny: Thanks for coming.
Jason: It's not a problem. What's up?
Sonny: So, when, uh, you left the Metro Court, I got to talking to Robin. And it looks like Ava isn't Julian's only sister.
Jason: That's right. Uh, he had an older sister. Went by Olivia Jerome or Olivia St. John.
Sonny: You knew about her?
Jason: Well, Sam and I did a little digging into the family. Seems that Olivia died in 1990.
Sonny: Well, looks like Papa Jerome got around. You think maybe Julian has another sister?
Jason: Maybe. Or maybe... Olivia isn't dead after all.
Olivia Jerome: Yes. Reincarnation has a particular meaning in my life.
Jason: I just wish I could figure out who this woman is in this picture meeting Julian. I mean, if it's not Ava, who could it be?
Sam: I don't know. I mean, all the people in Julian's immediate family are dead.
[Back to present]
Sam: What does it mean to you?
Bobbie: You're in Atlanta already? This morning? [Laughs] That is great, Felicia. So, have you found out anything about Nelle?
Carly: Mom. What are you doing here?
Bobbie: Oh. I'll call you back. Hi, honey.
Bobbie: I just had dinner here with someone, and I thought I'd pop in and say hi to you.
Carly: Oh. Well, you almost missed me. I just stopped by to get one of my favorite bottles of champagne because Sonny and I are going out of town on a trip. Ah. What's all this?
Bobbie: Oh, yeah. [Chuckles] Your inbox was a little overflowing, so, uh, I was just gonna throw the obvious junk, and, uh, but now you can do the honors. We can have a chance to chat. So, how do you feel about doing something productive before you head out of town?
Nelle: Things aren't as simple as I led you to believe.
Michael: Okay, look. I get it. I get it. You're with this guy, and it's -- it's none of my business. Normally, I wouldn't get in the middle of anyone's relationship, but I wouldn't have even said anything if I -- if I thought you were at all happy in this -- this -- this arrangement.
Nelle: Well, I am, and I need to honor that.
Michael: [Sighs] Okay, sure. You just -- you just don't seem very happy about it.
Nelle: I don't?
Michael: No, you don't. I-I don't know. Maybe -- maybe you do. I shouldn't presume to know how you feel, but you play things so close to the vest.
Nelle: I know. I think it's some sort of defense mechanism.
Michael: Against what?
Nelle: If you don't give other people your personal, intimate details, then they can't use them against you. And if you don't share your secrets, then they can't betray you.
Michael: You really believe that?
Nelle: Yeah, I do.
Michael: All the time?
Michael: Nelle, if you keep yourself so closed off, yeah, sure, sure, it helps in -- in keeping away the people that will hurt you. But it's also keeping away the people that could care about you.
Carly: I think the mail can wait because I really got to get going. Mom, after everything Sonny and I have been through, we deserve this trip.
Bobbie: Mm. So, how are you both doing with this latest development with, uh, Ava?
Carly: Uh, well, when I found out that Ava was arrested for putting that bomb in Julian's car, I wanted to kill her myself.
Bobbie: I know. I don't blame you. I see red every time I think about the horrible things that she's done to Morgan. But you know what? It is not gonna do anybody any good for you to throw your life away on Ava Jerome.
Carly: I know. I know. Sonny told me that.
Bobbie: I'm really glad you finally found your way back to Sonny.
Carly: Me, too.
Bobbie: I mean, I know I have had my issues with him in the past, and I still do.
Carly: Oh, there's the mother I know and love.
Bobbie: But right now, I just want my daughter to be happy. So, where are you taking Sonny on your getaway?
Carly: Do you remember that place in the mountains that we used to rent when Michael and Morgan were little? I booked it for a week.
Bobbie: Have you heard the weather reports?
Carly: No. Why?
Bobbie: The storm front has just dropped inches of snow up in the mountains. The roads are impassable, so I hate to tell you, honey, but there isn't gonna be any romantic getaway this weekend.
Nelle: Look, I know that you mean well, but you don't know me, not really.
Michael: Well, not for lack of trying.
Nelle: You know, Michael, maybe the people that you've let into your life have kind to you. But not all of us are that lucky.
Michael: Okay, sorry, I-I-I don't know where you got this idea that I live some kind of fantasy life. Yeah, I've always had money, and th-that counts for a lot. But it's not like I haven't felt betrayal in my life.
Nelle: By who?
Michael: It's complicated, but trust me, I have.
Nelle: Well, whatever it was, you know, you can get past it. And -- and -- and you've got still the same loving family that you've always had, but it doesn't work out that way for everybody, and it sure as hell isn't gonna work out that way for me!
Sonny: So, when did Olivia Jerome supposedly die?
Jason: Supposedly, Julian killed her in 1990.
Sonny: Killed her how?
Jason: Shot her in the back, ran away.
Sonny: Classic Julian. Everything he does, he just screws up. So, most likely she's -- 50% chance she survived.
Jason: If she is alive, I think there's a good chance that she killed Morgan.
Ava: Answer me, Julian. Why does it have to be Alexis that helps me?
Ava: What is going on? What are you planning? Are you planning to disappear? What?
Julian: I can't tell you, Ava. It's -- it's just too dangerous.
Ava: Well, who's stopping you? Is it Sonny?
Ava: Then who?
Julian: Ava, please.
Ava: Look at you. You're terrified.
Ava: Julian. Hey. Whatever is going on here... you need to trust me. I may not be able to help myself, but I can help you.
Julian: Why would you do that?
Ava: Because we're blood. Yeah, we've betrayed each other. We've even threatened to kill each other. But here we are. Those experiences just brought us closer together.
Julian: [Chuckles] We're a pretty dysfunctional family, aren't we?
Ava: I've seen worse, though. Because when it really matters, we stand together. So whatever it is, whatever danger you're in, if it affects you, it affects me. So, please, tell me. What the hell is going on?
Olivia Jerome: What does reincarnation mean to me? [Scoffs] Well, it was a very defining moment in my life.
Sam: Well...don't keep me in suspense. What was that defining moment?
Olivia: Oh. When I became clean and sober. I left that whole wretched past life behind and embraced my glorious new one. If that isn't the epitome of reincarnation, I don't know what is.
Ava: Come on, Julian. Right now, I'm the only family you can rely on. You can trust me.
Julian: I wish I could tell you. I really do.
Ava: Please. If you ever cared about me, if our bond as brother and sister means anything to you at all, please, tell me what's going on.
Julian: Okay. I'll tell you.
[Cell phone rings]
Olivia Jerome: What about you?
Sam: Oh, I'm a social drinker, but I've -- I've never had a problem. [Chuckles] I know that because when I -- when I got pregnant, I didn't have a -- I didn't have a problem giving up alcohol.
Olivia: Well, good for you.
Olivia: I wasn't referring specifically to drinking.
Sam: No? Then what specifically were you referring to?
Olivia: There must have been some turning point in your life, some time when you felt all was lost and then an opportunity presented itself. When would you say that was?
Sam: Like, right now.
Sam: Yeah. Could you pull over?
Hayden: Convince the money-grubbing board members that a not-for-profit community service is better for them than a lucrative condo deal? [Chuckles] Great. No pressure.
Monica: Well, maybe it won't be as difficult as you think. Michael and Laura are on the board, and they're on our side.
Tracy: They better be. Michael's giving money, and Laura gave me a...bedpan.
Hayden: Full or empty?
Hayden: I need to re-evaluate my opinion of her.
Tracy: Look, even if Hayden's powers of persuasion are not all that they are cracked up to be, it is a reasonable certainty that we are gonna be able to get the remaining votes we need.
Monica: Excuse me, but isn't reasonable certainty a bit of an oxymoron?
Tracy: Wait a minute. You were the one that wanted to break out the sparkling cider. The two of you convinced me to put my negativity aside and enjoy the moment. So get the bubbly, Monica. I think it is time that we count those chickens, after all. General Hospital being saved is almost a done deal.
Carly: Thank you so much. And please let me know if there's any problems. Okay. Okay. [Scoffs] At least the caretaker had a land line.
Bobbie: Oh. Well, I take it Nelle is there.
Carly: Yeah. Yeah, she showed up, but she's not getting off that mountain. Nobody is. I hope she doesn't try.
Bobbie: Does the caretaker know if she's okay?
Carly: He saw her. He said she's fine. Look, the fridge is stocked and there's plenty of firewood, so Nelle should be fine.
Bobbie: Oh, well, good.
Carly: Really? Good?
Bobbie: Well, honey, [Chuckles] I may not be her biggest fan, but I don't want to see her go hungry or freeze to death.
Carly: Okay. [Laughs] That's nice of you. And thank you for not trashing her to me.
Bobbie: Well, you were right. It was really unfair of me to be so suspicious of Nelle when I didn't have any proof.
Michael: Look, Nelle, you don't know you're never going to be happy. Nobody knows that.
Nelle: Oh, I do. Look, Michael, when -- when I was a little girl, I used to dream of growing up and getting away from my family. I dreamt of finding someone to love me. I would watch way too many sappy movies on TV, and I thought that, hmm, I don't know, maybe that could happen to me. But the older I got, the clearer it became. I saw how high the deck was stacked against me. So I knew I had a decision to make. [Sighs] If I couldn't have happiness, then I'd have to settle for satisfaction. And I will do anything necessary to get that.
Michael: [Scoffs] It sounds like you're fighting like hell to settle for something that's less than you deserve.
Nelle: I can't expect you to understand.
Michael: This is not about me. It's about you. Chasing somebody who's incapable of caring about you -- is that -- is that really what you want?
Nelle: I don't want any of this, but it's all I'm ever gonna get.
Michael: Well, how could you think like that?
Nelle: Because I don't deserve to be happy.
Michael: No, look. Yes, you do. Okay, yes, you do.
Jason: Did Olivia Jerome resurface anywhere else? No? Okay, I'm gonna keep searching on my end, too. Thank you, Spinelli. I appreciate it.
Sonny: Any luck?
Jason: No, not yet. But if there's any trace of Olivia to be found on the internet, Spinelli will find it, point us to her.
Sonny: Unless she's really dead.
Jason: You know, the more I think about it, the more Olivia makes sense. It explains why we found a picture of -- of Julian as a child in a pawnshop and why we keep finding these Chinese characters that mean reincarnation.
Sonny: Or the pictures and the characters are false leads. Maybe you're too invested in your theory to see what's in front of you.
Jason: Okay, what's in front of me?
Sonny: Maybe the sister who Julian was talking to, the one who planted the bomb that killed Morgan... is Ava.
Julian: [Inhales sharply]
Ava: Hey. What is it?
Julian: I'm sorry. I can't tell you.
Sam: Sighs] [Sighs] Thank you. I really need to use the restroom.
Olivia: [Chuckles] I need to take you to a gas station.
Sam: Oh, no, no. There's no need. My -- my friend, she lives right over the footbridge there. You see the lights?
Olivia: I don't see any lights.
Sam: Oh, no, trust me. They're out there. Sofia and her husband -- they love their peace and quiet. He's a cop. She works for the DA's office, so...
Olivia: I can't let you do that.
Monica: To the hospital.
Hayden: And the Quartermaines.
Tracy: And our associates.
Hayden: We make a great team.
[Cell phone chimes]
Tracy: Are we keeping you from something?
Hayden: This is when, uh, Finn's plane is supposed to land. I'll -- I'll give him a minute, and then I'll try and catch him on his way to his meeting with the drug company.
Tracy: You do know that keeping such close tabs on him is a little creepy.
Monica: Oh, yes. [Scoffs] If I had done that with Alan...
Tracy: We wouldn't have Jason, and then where would we be?
Monica: Go to hell.
Tracy: See you there.
Hayden: And now I'm going to call Finn and give him the good news. He can refuse the offer, turn right around, and come back to his hospital, his lab, and his precious infectious diseases.
Tracy: Wow. The romance never ends with you.
Tracy: Tell my backgammon partner that his winning streak is nothing. I just scored the biggest win of all.
Monica: You did?
Tracy: We did?
Tracy: Even Hayden?
Jason: Look, I am not protecting Ava. But if Olivia is alive, and she's responsible for your son's death, don't you want the right person to pay? Do you agree with me on that?
Sonny: I agree.
Jason: Okay, good. Then what I want to do is I want to go find something. I'm gonna bring it back to you, all right?
[Door opens, closes]
Carly: Hey. What's, uh, what's this all about?
Sonny: Jason's just trying to figure out who caused Morgan's death.
Carly: And you don't think it's Ava, huh?
Jason: Look, I can't be sure either way, but I want to be absolutely sure before we, uh, move forward, right?
Carly: Yeah. Right.
Jason: Okay, I'm gonna do some digging, and you two will be the first people I talk to when I find something.
Sonny: All right.
Jason: All right, see ya. That looks fun.
Carly: [Chuckles] [Sighs]
Sonny: Do not keep me in suspense for much longer.
Sonny: What is my surprise?
Carly: There's not going to be a surprise.
Sam: No offense, but the sooner I use the restroom, the happier I'll be.
Olivia Jerome: [Chuckles] I can't let you tinkle out here in the middle of nowhere. Let me drive you to the house.
Sam: But it's so far.
Olivia: No, no, it's not far at all.
Sam: No, it is, actually. The roads aren't paved, and I wouldn't want you to get your car stuck.
Olivia: Your friend isn't expecting you.
Sam: I'll call her on my way.
Olivia: What if she's not home?
Sam: Well, I know where the key is. Thanks again. [Drops her cell phone on the footbridge]
Olivia: Did you really think I would just let you walk off into the night? You must really think I'm stupid.
Sam: What are you talking about? I was -- I was just trying to pick up my phone.
Olivia: No, you were underestimating me, like so many have. Now that we both know where we stand, why don't we just drop the pretense and share what we both know?
Monica: Well, I am going home. This is a good end to a perfectly lousy day.
Tracy: A lousy week.
Monica: [Sighs] With any luck tomorrow, the hospital will be ours, and we can finally move on.
Tracy: Bringing the family together, pooling our resources to take back the hospital, perfect solution. I'm so glad I thought of it.
Monica: You didn't.
Tracy: That's my story [Chuckles] And I'm sticking to it.
Tracy: So, what did Finn say when you told him the good news?
Hayden: He, uh, he didn't answer his phone.
Tracy: He's probably just thinking of a polite way to turn down the drug company.
Hayden: Yeah, the thing is, um, I don't know that he's gonna make that meeting. I tried the hotel, and they said that he canceled his reservation.
Nelle: You don't know, Michael. The things that I've done, I... [Sniffles]
Michael: Hey, look, no matter what you tell me, I'm still gonna be here.
Nelle: [Sighs] When you say that, I almost believe it.
Well, you should believe it, because it's true. I'm a very terrible liar. Ask anybody.
Michael: Look. And when you forget that I'm right about you, don't worry because I'll remind you. I'm a Corinthos and a Quartermaine, and I got some Spencer thrown in there. That means I am arrogant, determined, and I have a tendency to gloat.
Nelle: I'm going to hold you to that. Because I think that I am ready for a new path.
Michael: That's great. That's great. [Chuckles] You know, not to sound selfish or anything, but, uh... this new path of yours... am I on it?
Bobbie: I'm so sorry for cutting that short, Felicia, but Carly caught me snooping. No, no, it's okay. I managed to cover. So, tell me. Have you found out anything about Nelle? [Gasps] What? Oh, God, no. [Sighs] God, that's exactly what I was afraid of.
Sonny: So, no surprise at all?
Carly: I'm sorry.
Sonny: Well, can you at least tell me what the surprise was gonna be?
Carly: I wanted to take you to the mountains.
Carly: Remember that cabin we used to rent when the boys were little?
Carly: And I thought it would be nice, you know, the two of us surrounded by woods and snow.
Sonny: Sex by the fireplace.
Carly: Yeah, sex by the fireplace. [Sighs] Well, we can't go. There's been a blizzard in the mountains.
Sonny: Well, see, now I wish you hadn't told me.
Carly: Well, you asked, so this ruined moment is all on you.
Sonny: Yeah, but we don't have to leave Port Charles to -- to block out the whole world.
Carly: But it makes so much easier.
Sonny: Yeah, but we got everything we want. Look, we got champagne.
Carly: We have champagne.
Sonny: We got the fireplace.
Sonny: We have us.
Carly: We do.
Sonny: That's -- that's all we need.
Ava: You can't tell me?
Julian: I'm sorry.
Ava: You just said you could. You were just about to, and then you get some mysterious text and you clam up? Give me the phone. Give me the phone!
Julian: No, Ava.
Ava: Tell me what the hell is going on, Julian!
Julian: Everything's gonna be explained in time.
Ava: Explain it to me now!
Julian: Ava, please, just...
Ava: [Scoffs] I don't believe this! You know what? I don't know why I thought you would help me. You're the reason I'm here in the first place!
Julian: And I'm gonna get you out of here soon enough, I swear.
Ava: That's it. That's it! I am done letting you play games with my life. I should've let you go to prison for what you did to Alexis and to Duke and to Carlos. And as far as you and I are concerned, brother... you are dead to me.
Julian: You have no idea.
Sam: You're kind of freaking me out right now. Can you just give me my phone back so I can call Jason, please?
Olivia Jerome: Looks like you've already called your dear Jason.
Sam: Of course, I did. He's probably wondering where I am.
Olivia: Why didn't you wait and call him from the warmth of your friend's house right over there?
Sam: You know what? I'm not going to stand out here in the cold and argue with you. If you're not going to give me my phone back, just give it to my mom the next time you see her, please.
Olivia: That's far enough.
Olivia: Turn around.
Sam: Is that a gun?
Olivia: We both know that you figured out who I am. So we just can't let anybody else know, can we?
On the next "General Hospital" --
Anna (to Valentin): Please tell me. I don't remember.
Nina (to Curtis): Are you accusing my husband of lying to me?
Hayden (to Griffin): Why would Finn still be taking Zen-Zen?
Man (to Julian): There has been a complication.
Jason (to Robin): I'm looking into the Jerome family.
Olivia Jerome (to Sam): Why should you have everything, and I have nothing.
