[Nelle copies Sonny's audio file from her phone onto a flash drive, which she puts in an envelope addressed to Carly.]

Sonny: That was my fault. I take full responsibility.

[Cell phone beeps]

Nelle: Game on, Sonny. I'm ready.

Carly: Hey.

Jason: Hey.

Carly: Sure is nice seeing this guy out of the house, isn't it?

Jason: Yes, it is.

Sonny: Well, after what Jason did for me, the least I can do is buy him breakfast.

Carly: That's nice.

Jason: Thank you.

Carly: So, what's going on after breakfast?

Sonny: Well, you know, a little more work, but it's a lot easier now that I can do it in person.

Carly: Okay, well don't plan anything for tomorrow, because I have a surprise.

Sonny: I don't -- I don't like surprises.

Carly: I know, but you're gonna like this surprise. You're gonna like this surprise a lot, so don't plan anything, okay? I know there's a lot of questions surrounding Morgan's death, but Ava's in jail and you're free, and we have so much to be grateful for, okay? We need to do something. Just for the two of us.

Sonny: All right. Good. I won't schedule anything for tomorrow.

Carly: All right. I got to get back to work. I'll see you guys later.

Sonny: Bye.

Jason: Oh. I'm happy to see you guys, uh, reconnecting.

Sonny: Carly has a point. If -- if Ava wasn't the one who set the car bomb, someone else did. We're not gonna be able to heal until we get some answers.

[Doorbell rings]

Sam: Hi.

Alexis: Hey. What brings you here, baby?

Sam: I'm just checking in on you. And I know telling Kristina and Molly that you're an alcoholic wasn't easy, especially since Kristina blew up at you.

Alexis: You know, I don't blame her. I've done a lot of things that are wrong, made a lot of mistakes, and she's entitled to her feelings.

Sam: Okay. Well, I'll keep talking to her. Mom, that's not the only reason why I came by. Um, you know I've been working on Morgan's case. Ava has been arrested. She's at the PCPD, and, actually, for once, I -- I don't think she did it. I know. Mom, those look exactly like your wedding flowers.

Alexis: Yes. I believe that was Julian's intention.

Sam: Huh?

Alexis: When he had them sent on Valentine's Day.

Olivia Jerome: I trust you were smart enough not to be followed this time.

Julian: You know, it isn't my first secret meeting.

Olivia: I know, but my herb shop was compromised due to your amateur sloppiness.

Julian: You know, I've been here for 30 seconds, and you still haven't asked me about the hospital. That's got to be some kind of a record.

Olivia: Well, actually, you've just set my expectation bar so low.

Julian: Ah.

Olivia: Do we actually have news?

Julian: The board has scheduled a meeting for your offer. By this time tomorrow, GH will be yours.

Olivia: [Sighs happily]

Tracy: How's it look?

Hayden: This is a complicated transaction. There are transfer fees, the cost of setting up an LLC in the Quartermaine name.

Tracy: I know, I know, I know. Just, what's the bottom line?

Hayden: Your offer wasn't as high as the one made by the real estate developers.

Tracy: [Sighs]

Michael: What's the difference?

Hayden: Enough that GH wouldn't be able to pay off its debts in the sale.

Michael: Well, Jason said that he could put more in.

Tracy: I-I don't think we want the sec looking into where Jason gets his money from.

Ned: Then it's up to me. I have a letter here from my ex-wife, Lois, stating her intent to buy out my half of L&B records.

Michael: Wait. Isn't L&B your -- your baby?

Ned: Yes, but, um, I'm really here in Port Charles now, and our family buying the hospital is... gonna help a lot of people.

Hayden: Okay [Chuckles] Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still have to convince the hospital board that you are the right people to sell to.

Tracy: And if we don't, General Hospital is days away from being closed.

Finn: [Groans]

[Phone rings in distance]

Griffin: Hey, Finn?

Finn: Huh?

Griffin: You been here all night?

Finn: Yeah, well, we have no nurses. Someone had to look after the patients.

Griffin: I'm surprised you had the energy for it. Though, I will admit, you look significantly better than you have the past few days.

Finn: Thank you, Griffin. I had them put a rush on Anna's bone marrow biopsy. We should have the results any minute.

Griffin: Thank you. I-I just hope the diagnosis isn't as bad as we've been fearing.

Anna: Oh, Nurse! Nurse. Hello? Excuse me? Nurse?

Man: I'm not a nurse. They're all sick.

Anna: Uh, yeah, okay. I know you're understaffed, um, but it's been hours since I had my biopsy, and I was just wondering, you know, I haven't heard a thing from anybody.

Man: I'll see what I can find out.

Anna: Can you make it clear that I really need to see a doctor right now? Please?

Robin: Will I do?

Sam: Since the flowers are here, I'm guessing you didn't slam the door in his face.

Alexis: It's not what you're thinking.

Sam: No. What I'm thinking is -- is he's manipulating you, mom. He's playing on your emotions when you're most vulnerable. When you've just started your recovery with alcoholism. Please don't tell me you're gonna let him do this to you again!

Olivia Jerome: Finally! Dreams do come true.

Julian: If that's what you want to call it.

Olivia: Watch it!

Julian: Easy. It's not a weapon. I figured now is as good a time as any to celebrate.

Olivia: Champagne?

Julian: Yeah. Why not?

Olivia: Isn't that rather presumptuous?

Julian: Well, I counted board members. Only Laura, Michael, and Tracy are against this. So, the Quartermaines can whine all they want. But they fought the good fight to save GH. Tomorrow, they lose.

Tracy: I hope you know what you're doing.

Ned: [Sighs] When I woke up this morning, I was thinking about Grandmother, and I could just hear her voice telling me, "Think about all the people we could be helping in this community."

Tracy: You said that Port Charles is your life now. When did that change?

Ned: Dillon came back. You got sick. And recovered, thankfully. I just think it's time to, um, set down roots again.

Tracy: What aren't you telling me?

Ned: Do you still have Grandmother's engagement ring?

Tracy: I do. Why do you ask?

Ned: I was hoping you would give it to me.

Tracy: Why would I do that?

Ned: I am going to ask Olivia to marry me tonight.

Carly: Hey.

Jason: Hi.

Carly: So, um... I didn't get a chance to thank you for talking Sonny down.

Jason: You know... [Clears throat] ...It's fine.

Carly: Almost wasn't fine. Yeah. I know I couldn't have convinced him to let Ava live. I would've encouraged Sonny to take the shot.

Jason: All I did was tell him the truth. I don't think Ava was behind the bomb, and we all have to be sure before somebody does something that they can't take back.

Carly: Listen to you -- the voice of reason.

Jason: It happens every so often.

Carly: [Laughs] Thank you. Yeah. I don't know what I did to deserve a friend like you.

Jason: There's no telling.

[Both laugh]

Carly: You're always looking out for me.

Finn: I need to ask you another favor.

Sonny: Unfortunately, it's not the right time right now, 'cause I'm --

Finn: I understand. And I -- I wouldn't ask you if it wasn't extremely important.

Sonny: All right. You know what? Uh, let me work out a few things. Call my office. We'll meet next week.

Finn: Mr. Corinthos, I have to be honest with you. I don't have until next week.

Anna: Oh, it's so good to see you.

Robin: It's good to be seen.

[Monitor beeps]

Anna: You didn't just happen to fly in for a visit, did you?

Robin: No. Griffin called me.

Anna: So...obviously, what they're testing me for is a big deal, huh?

Robin: I had an opening in my schedule, you know, so it was a perfect opportunity to come and spend some time with you.

Anna: I'm trying not to jump to any all, but, um, you didn't see the look on Dr. Finn's face, and, uh, now, Griffin asked you to fly out overnight, so... ...something must seriously be wrong, huh?

Man: Dr. Griffin, have you seen Dr. Finn? I have the biopsy results that he put a rush on.

Griffin: I'm -- I'm working with Dr. Finn on this case. I'll make sure he gets the results.

Man: Oh.

Griffin: No.

Finn: Mr. Corinthos, I, um -- I want you to understand the medication in question will be extremely helpful to some of my patients.

Sonny: I hear how important this is for you. But I got -- I got eyes on me right now. All right, listen. I'm -- I'm gonna call around for a favor, but that's gonna take a few days.

Finn: Yeah, you know, uh, just forget it. I'll figure something else out.

Sonny: Good luck, Finn.

Finn: Yeah, thanks.

Hayden: You're looking better.

Finn: Hi. Yeah. I must've, uh -- I must've been coming down with something.

Hayden: So, I take it since you're here, you decided not to take that meeting with Shane Healy?

Finn: What?

Hayden: Didn't Tracy tell you? There's a pharmaceutical company interested in that treatment you developed. I was hoping you'd go to Manhattan and hear them out.

Finn: Oh, no, wait. You know, even if I was remotely comfortable with selling the patent, I can't go to Manhattan today. We're -- we're completely short-staffed.

Hayden: I-I was also hoping if there was a deal to be made, you'd take part of the profits and donate them to GH. So maybe we wouldn't have to lay off so many people.

Finn: Yeah. Of course. That makes -- that makes sense. Listen. I want to say I'm sorry for yesterday. If I was curt or rude to you in any way, I was just -- I was just tired.

Hayden: Are you sure that's all? Because it seemed like you were gonna tell me something important. Should I be worried?

Griffin: Dr. Finn?

Finn: Huh?

Griffin: I got Anna's results back. You need to look at them right away.

Anna: Bone marrow biopsy. Come on, Robin. You're a doctor. I mean, that's serious, right? Is it?

Robin: It's definitely not an everyday procedure.

Anna: Oh, okay. That's great.

Robin: How was it?

Anna: I-I had to lay on my stomach for, I don't know, it seemed like hours. And they kind of warned me, you know, they said that they wouldn't really be able to numb the area all that much.

Robin: Did it hurt?

Anna: Well, it wasn't so much the pain as really this kind of sensation of just -- just the scraping against the bone. It was almost as if I could kind of just hear it down inside my whole body.

Robin: Ugh.

Anna: It's certainly not an experience that I'd like to repeat.

Robin: I'm sorry you had to go through that alone, Mom. But that procedure, it does save lives, so you did the right thing by agreeing to do it.

Anna: Yeah.

Robin: I mean, you traded in a little bit of comfort for some peace of mind.

Anna: Maybe. Um, until I get the test results, you know, I'm not sure I'm gonna get much of that, either.

Michael: Hey, Olivia. Hey. Um, did you know a Mr. Jensen on the GH board?

Olivia: Yeah. Of course. He's one of our regulars.

Michael: So, no Bloody Mary today?

Olivia: No. Actually, you just missed him.

Michael: Oh. Oh, well. Oh, oh. By the way, thank you for pitching in at the family meeting that way. It was a great idea, even though Tracy wasn't the most receptive.

Olivia: I would never say this within earshot of Tracy, but, honestly, that was a family meeting. It was really none of my business.

Michael: Well, I'm glad you spoke up. I mean, if Ned didn't sell his shares of L&B, uh, we wouldn't have had enough to outbid the developer.

Olivia: What? Wait. What, Ned is selling L&B?

Tracy: You want to give my mother's engagement ring to Olivia Falconeri? You want to marry her?!

Ned: Yes. That's typically the purpose of an engagement ring.

Tracy: Absolutely not!

Ned: Why not?

Tracy: When my father bought that ring for my mother, it cost more than most people's homes. Do you think I'm gonna allow you to give that ring to a woman who couldn't tell the difference between it and the prize in a cracker jack box?

Ned: I thought you liked Olivia.

Tracy: Look she's fine for a movie date, but the woman has two illegitimate sons by two different mobsters. She is definitely not daughter-in-law material.

Ned: First of all, you're in no position to criticize anyone about their associations with mobsters. And, secondly, as much as I would like, I don't need your blessing. Olivia makes me happy, and I intend to marry her.

Tracy: She's overbearing and uncouth.

Ned: What you see as overbearing, I see as caring and generous. And what you see as uncouth, I see as spirited, genuine, sincere. I love her, Mother, and I intend to marry her! I lost her once, and I'm not gonna lose her again.

Nelle: Excuse me, Carly. Sorry. Olivia said you wanted to see me?

Carly: Oh, right. Yeah, yeah. Um, I'll talk to you later, okay?

Jason: Yeah.

Carly: Come on. Okay, um, well, it's -- it's a special project, and it's a little bit out of your job description.

Nelle: Sure. Yeah. Whatever you need.

Carly: Well, um, Sonny and I used to rent this cabin up in the mountains about 45 minutes away from here when Michael and Morgan were little, and I, um -- well, I wanted to surprise Sonny and take him up there tomorrow.

Nelle: So, what do you need me to do?

Carly: Spruce up the place, fill the fridge, you know, buy some wine, just, you know, make it special. I have the address and the keys, and I told the bell captain downstairs that you were gonna be using a company car.

Nelle: Oh, wow. A getaway to a cabin in the mountains. It's very romantic.

Carly: I hope so. I do. You know, Sonny and I are trying to move forward and we could use some time away.

Nelle: Things just always work out for you, don't they?

Carly: I'm sorry?

Nelle: Oh, no. I just mean that you're so resilient, so resourceful. I j-- I really admire that in you.

Jason: With Ava in custody, whoever really set that bomb, well, they think they're home free, which gives us an advantage. They might make a mistake.

Alexis: He did help me get through detox, so let's give him that. But that's it. I will never be vulnerable to him again.

Sam: Does he know that?

Alexis: Yeah. I think that he does.

Sam: Yeah? How so?

Alexis: Last night, I...think he was saying goodbye.

[Cork pops]

Olivia Jerome: Why are you breaking out the champagne when you're not going to financially benefit from the sale of the hospital?

Julian: No. I'll be through with you. And my freedom -- that's worth celebrating.

Olivia: Never occurred to you that I might need to have you killed if I don't get what I want?

Julian: Of course, it did. And that's still worth celebrating.

Olivia: So, your imminent demise is worth a champagne toast?

Julian: Well, at least I'll be out from underneath your thumb. So, you've got a little decision to make. You can either raise a glass with me... ...or you can kill me once and for all.

Alexis: He said he wasn't going to bother me anymore. And then he gave me this.

Sam: Okay.

Alexis: It belongs to his safe deposit box. And he said that I was to open it once he's gone.

Sam: Gone. As in "dead"?

Alexis: I don't know. He said there's a letter and that it would explain everything.

Sam: I-I don't know if that's possible. Is it?

Alexis: I only hope there's some explanation for what he's done to me in the last year.

Sam: Yeah, Mom, so do I. I'd like to not have to explain to my kids one day that their grandfather tried to kill their grandmother, but I'm sorry, that's the reality of the situation.

Alexis: You know, I should just throw it away. I mean, it's probably just another manipulation or some lie again.

Sam: What if it isn't?

Julian: So, if you're gonna kill me, just get it the hell over with.

Olivia Jerome: Don't be ridiculous! Let's not waste the bottle.

Julian: [Secretly adds something to Olivia's glass] A toast -- to the demolition of GH.

Sonny: When I told Carly that, uh, Ava might have been the one who planted the bomb, she wanted to go after her with her two hands and kill her. I had to tell her that you said that you didn't think Ava was -- was guilty, so we agreed that we're not gonna do anything until we know for sure who murdered Morgan. After that, who knows?

Jason: Carly may think that she wants revenge, but she doesn't. Not if it means wrecking all of our lives.

Sonny: I'm not gonna do anything impulsive or lash out. I've done too much of that already.

Jason: Okay. I-I really don't want to discuss your, uh, indiscretion, okay? I just hope, whatever you decide, you can put it in the past and move forward, you know?

Sonny: I don't think that's an option anymore.

Jason: Why is that?

Sonny: Something's going on with Nelle. For whatever reason, it's like she wants Carly to find out what happened that night.

Nelle: Hey!

Michael: Hey.

Nelle: How's it going?

Michael: Um, well, I just pledged 3/4 of my personal assets into a questionable investment, so, uh, besides that, I'm fine.

Nelle: Why would you do that?

Michael: It's a long story. Maybe I could tell you about it over brunch?

Nelle: Yeah, um, I'd like that, but I have to go set up this cabin for your mom and dad.

Michael: Is it the one in the mountains?

Nelle: Uh, 746 Brookview.

Michael: Yep. That's the one. You're not going up there alone, are you? It's like a maze.

Nelle: Oh, I have a GPS. I'll be fine.

Michael: No, no, no. I-I'll give you a ride.

Nelle: Really?

Michael: Yes. I insist. I mean, not only am I gonna be a poorer man tomorrow, I'm also gonna be a lot busier, so we may not have the chance to hang out after tomorrow.

Nelle: You know what? Why not?

Robin: You know, it's okay to be scared.

Anna: Oh, that's not, um... you know, WSB agents, they don't get scared.

Robin: [Chuckles] Well, not in public. No. It's just me, though.

Anna: [Exhales sharply]

[Knock on door]

Finn: Can we come in?

Anna: Yeah. You have my test results?

Finn: We do. We were hoping for... better results, Anna, but, unfortunately, we didn't get them. Your bone marrow biopsy indicates that you have polycythemia vera. It's also known as PV.

Anna: I don't know what that means. I'm not a doctor.

Griffin: There's no easy way to -- there's no easy way to put this, Anna. You have cancer.

Tracy: If you want to give your grandmother's engagement ring to Olivia, of course, you should have it. I'm sure my mother would prefer it be worn than be kept in a dusty drawer.

Ned: Thank you.

Tracy: And I am, uh -- I am sorry for the things I said.

Ned: Well, then, why did you say it? What is your objection to Olivia?

Tracy: I don't know. I don't really have any objections to Olivia. She's ballsy and outgoing, and why would I object to that?

Ned: [Chuckles] Well, then, what was all of that before?

Tracy: [Sighs] When I got sick last year, it changed my perspective about a lot of things, most of all, about you and your brother. I love you both. I love you both so much, and I, uh, selfishly just -- I just want to keep you close. And it has meant so much to me to have you both here under the same roof, and when you talk about marrying Olivia, the next step is... getting your own home.

Ned: Mother... it's a big house. There's room for me and Olivia and Leo, at least for now. Okay?

Tracy: Okay.

Ned: And, Mother, it would really mean a lot to me if I had your blessing before I asked Olivia to marry me.

Tracy: Oh, my God. Of course, you do.

Ned: [Chuckles]

Tracy: Of course, you do.

Ned: [Laughs as they hug]

Alexis: Julian has it in writing that I can't access the box unless something happens to him.

Sam: Okay. You -- you can't, but Jason and I, we have our ways. All I'm saying is, whatever Julian wrote in that letter could hold all the answers we need.

Olivia Jerome: Hm. Oh! Oh, I'm so sorry. Um, so clumsy of me.

Julian: Yeah, well, don't worry about it. I'll pour myself another.

Olivia: Oh, no. Don't bother doing that. You know, I just realized if Alexis calls me and needs help from her sponsor, it would just -- if I had champagne on my breath, it just wouldn't be good.

Julian: Probably not.

Olivia: Here. Drink mine.

Julian: Thank you.

Olivia: You're welcome.

Julian: You know what? This whole champagne thing was a stupid idea. You were right.

Olivia: Why is that? You just tried to poison me, didn't you?!

Anna: Oh, cancer? Ohh. Phew. [Chuckles nervously] I never heard of a blood clot being associated with cancer before.

Robin: It's a scary word. Right? We can all admit that.

Finn: Mm-hmm. Cancer's the technical term for what you have, even if there's some nuances to it.

Anna: What does that mean?

Finn: For a long time, polycythemia vera was classified as just a blood disorder.

Griffin: Yeah, but now we know better.

Finn: PV is now recognized as an extremely rare form of blood cancer. It's part of a group of rare blood cancers known as myeloproliferative neoplasms, or MPNs.

Griffin: And -- and it can affect people of all ages, but you are in the age range where it's commonly diagnosed.

Robin: So, okay, what you're saying is that the blood clot was a symptom of the PV.

Finn: That's right, Robin. That's exactly what's happening. See, the cancer is causing your body to produce a -- an excess amount of red blood cells, which is causing a thickening of the blood, which is causing a clot that can block the blood from flowing through the arteries and veins.

Griffin: It's what was causing your migraines.

Finn: Untreated, it can lead to a heart attack or a stroke.

Anna: So, how do we treat it? I-is it radiation? Chemo?

Finn: No. We're gonna start you on a mild blood thinner, and then get you on a regular regimen of phlebotomy and see how you progress from there.

Anna: Phlebotomy?

Robin: Think of it this way. You'll be donating blood on a regular basis.

Anna: Okay. Fine. I can do that. But this protocol sounds like you're treating the symptoms of this cancer. How -- how do we beat it?

Griffin: I'm sorry, Anna. There's no cure for this disease.

Man: This is the place. [Sighs] The gas is turned on, and, well, you have the Wi-Fi information.

Michael: Uh, yeah. I forgot how quickly the snow piles up around here.

Nelle: So, is this snow storm normal?

Michael: Yeah. [Chuckles] Oh, your Atlanta blood can't handle this. You're freezing.

Man: I'll let you two lovebirds settle in.

[Door closes]

Nelle: That wasn't awkward.

Michael: No. Not at all.

Nelle: This place is nice, Michael. Yeah. Right? My family used to come up here all the time.

Nelle: I bet you have a lot of wonderful memories.

Sonny: Nelle came by my house a couple of days ago. Helped out with some tax documents for Morgan's foundation. Hours later... her bra is in my bed.

Jason: She planted it?

Sonny: I only slept with her on Thanksgiving one time. No way in hell, you know, was her bra in my bed for two months and I didn't know about it. Of course, she planted it.

Jason: Okay, but why? Why is she trying to break you and Carly up? Is she -- is she interested in you? Does she want to be with you?

Sonny: I don't know. I don't care. She's, you know -- nelle's becoming a problem. And she's real close to Carly, and I don't know how to handle that.

Jason: Maybe the only way out is to take away her power and tell Carly what happened yourself.

Anna: What do you mean there's no cure? Am I dying?

Griffin: No. No.

Finn: PV doesn't go into remission. It's a chronic condition that can worsen over time.

Griffin: But it -- it is manageable. People live with it every day.

Anna: So, that's it? I have to keep going to blood-lettings for the rest of my life? Is that it?

Robin: We can deal with a chronic illness, can't we? Can we just...

Finn: Yes.

Robin: ...Have a second?

Griffin: Of course.

Anna: [Sighs]

[Door closes]

Anna: I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. That was so insensitive.

Robin: No. No. It's okay. It's okay. You're angry and you're sad and...

Anna: I'm okay.

Robin: ...Just because this disease is manageable, it doesn't mean that it doesn't suck.

Anna: Right.

Robin: You know, and you have to give yourself time to yell and have a good cry...

Anna: Okay.

Robin: ...And then, when you're done venting, we have work to do. And we have to figure out the answers to get you through this. But you have to be strong.

Anna: I don't feel strong.

Robin: Then I guess I'll just have to be strong enough for the both of us.

Finn: We didn't communicate all the possible complications to Anna.

Griffin: Just give her a second to deal with the shock. I don't think she can hear any more details right now.

[Cell phone chimes]

Finn: Okay.

Griffin: [Sighs] Hey, look, I got to go. Um, thank you for letting me be there when you broke the news.

Finn: Yeah.

Tracy: Whoa. You are looking a lot healthier.

Finn: Yeah, that's -- that's what I hear.

Hayden: Have you given any more thought to meeting with the pharmaceutical company interested in your new cure?

Finn: Well, it's like I told you earlier, I don't have time to go to Manhattan today.

Tracy: Is that the hold up? Take the ELQ jet. I know for a fact that the CEO is not taking any trips in the next 24 hours, so the jet is at your disposal.

Finn: [Scoffs] Well, then, I might just take you up on that.

Olivia: Hey, Michael told me that you're selling your shares of L&B, and I just can't help -- what is that?

Ned: Um, this is my grandmother's engagement ring.

Olivia: Um, and why are you holding it?

Ned: I was gonna do this at dinner tonight, but why wait? Olivia Falconeri, will you marry me?

Anna: You heard what they said. I'm going to have to deal with this illness now for the rest of my life. You can't be by my side forever.

Robin: Says who?

Anna: Well, says Emma and Patrick. Not to mention your job in Berkeley.

Robin: Mom, all these years of being HIV positive, I mean, it's taught me one thing. I'm not thinking about 50 years from now. You know, I'm thinking about today. I'm thinking about tomorrow. You need someone to run errands for you and bring in edible food and translate the medicalese. I'm your girl.

Anna: [Voice breaking] Oh, that's lovely. And it's so generous. But it's not necessary, honestly, because I will be all right. I will.

Robin: Everyone needs help sometimes. Even you. Patrick and Emma will understand. Okay? Right now, my place is here.

Anna: [Sniffles] I love you. I love you so much.

Hayden: I'm really proud of you.

Finn: Don't be.

Hayden: Well, I know you're not committing to anything, but at least you're gonna hear them out, and you can tell me all about it when you come back. And we can finish that conversation from before.

Finn: Right.

Ned: Well? Don't leave a guy hanging.

Olivia: I c-- Ned, I-I can't.

Ned: Can't? I -- I understand "No." What does "I can't" mean?

Olivia: I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I-I can't.

Nelle: Hey. Hey, I was just, um -- I changed the sheets.

Michael: Yeah. And the fridge is fully stocked.

Nelle: Then we're good to go?

Michael: You okay?

Nelle: Yeah. Yeah. I'm -- I'm just thinking about my childhood. I want you to know that no matter what happens, that your friendship has meant the world to me.

Michael: Me, too. Why do I got a feeling you're about to skip town or something?

Nelle: I'm not. I just -- you know, I'm -- I'm not great at expressing my feelings.

Michael: Well, I'm glad you did. Want to get out of here?

Nelle: Yeah.

Michael: Okay.

[Knock on door]

Man: [Breathes heavily] The storm has kicked into high gear, and they just closed the roads. You two aren't going anywhere.

Sonny: Carly.

Carly: Hey.

Sonny: We, uh -- we need to talk.

Carly: We can talk tomorrow.

Sonny: You mean the surprise?

Carly: Yes. Yes. Please? We need this. We do. You and I, we need to get away together.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Carly: We need a break. You know, away from all the questions about Ava and all the pain with Morgan.

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: We can't let it consume us, okay?

Sonny: All right. All right. W-w-we'll talk tomorrow.

Carly: Okay. Thank you.

Olivia Jerome: Empty your pockets!

Julian: What?

Olivia: Empty...your...pockets! Oleander? Mm. That's why the champagne tasted so funny.

Julian: Nothing you wouldn't do to me.

Olivia: No. And if I had tried, I would've succeeded.

Julian: Well, now's your chance, Liv. Finish the job!

Olivia: No. Until you finish the deal with General Hospital, you can live. Now, get the hell out of my sight before I change my mind! Julian needs another reprimand. I know exactly how to deliver it.

Alexis: You are about to give birth. So, I don't know why you're digging around in this car bomb thing. If somebody's ordering Julian around and you can see her, she can see you.

Sam: Yeah. You know what, Mom? I know how to take care of myself, and as soon as I find something out, you'll be the first to know. All I'm telling you is, hold on to that key, please.

Alexis: I don't like this. And this goes without saying, be careful.

Sam: Of course. Always. I love you.

Alexis: I love you, too.

Sam: Okay. Bye.

[Cell phone rings]

[Door closes]

Sam: Hello?

Olivia Jerome: Samantha Morgan? This is Dr. Lee's office. It's about your baby. She needs to see you right away.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Michael (to Nelle): There's no way of getting down this mountain. We're stuck!

Jason (to Sonny): Are you okay?

Jordan (to Curtis): You cost me André, and now you may have cost me my job.

Sam (to Lucas): Have you been in touch with Julian?

Olivia Falconeri (to Julian): Why don't you tell me who's after you now.

Ned (to Dante): I asked your mother to marry me.

[Olivia Jerome is hiding outside of Anna's hospital room]

Robin: Is someone there?
