Kevin: Laura. Laura! You were having a nightmare!
Anna: But it's unacceptable, Robert. First of all, I'm -- I'm denied access. And then, the WSB -- they tell me that they don't have a dossier on "Ivan Theodore," and I'm staring right at the front page of that report. An-and then, it disappears from my computer. Well, I didn't join the WSB again, so that I could be stonewalled at every turn, right? I was hacked. There is someone there who didn't want me to read that file. I don't care who you have to harass -- I want to find out who that is and why they didn't want me to read -- all right, I'll call you later. I don't have to be polite to you -- you're my ex-husband. But I will -- I will thank you when you find out something. Yeah, okay, bye.
Griffin: Anna, you okay?
Anna: Never better.
Griffin: What's the problem?
Anna: What do you think? Valentin.
Lulu: Okay, here I am, in the office that --
Maxie: Shh! Shh! Shh!
Lulu: What? [Laughing] What? Oh.
Jordan: So, are you aware of any new information regarding your brother's death? Like, anything even remotely linking this case to Sonny?
Dante: No, all we've ever had is Sonny's confession.
Jordan: Which is more of an outpouring of grief than an admission of guilt, right?
Dante: I mean, as far as physical evidence tying Sonny to the explosion, we have nothing.
Jordan: That's what I thought.
Dante: Can I ask why you're asking this? I mean, what is this -- some last-minute Hail Mary pass to try and pin Morgan's death on my father?
Jordan: No, it's actually quite the opposite.
Jason: Hey. Am I late?
Sam: There you are. Yes, because you missed the prenatal checkup, I was gonna... have to find a new father for the baby.
Jason: Oh, no.
Jason: Come on.
Jason: Can I talk ya out of that?
Sam: Possibly, if you can tell me where you've been.
Jason: Uh, yeah -- I had to go see Sonny.
Jason: Curtis and I found something that doesn't quite add up.
Ava: Hello. May I help -- now, wait a minute. I know you, don't I?
Curtis: [Chuckles] We've, uh, been in some of the same rooms a few times, but we've never been formally introduced. Curtis Ashford.
Ava: Oh, well, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Ava Je--
Curtis: Ava Jerome -- Exactly the person I wanted to see.
Sonny: Thanks for coming by, Brick. What've you got for me?
Brick: I got everything you asked for.
Brick: Remote feed from the laser mikes and stills from the camera.
Sonny: Excellent! Thanks.
Brick: Didn't Jason already tell you everything he found?
Sonny: Yeah, he did, but he left a few things out. So, uh, that's why you're here, Brick -- so we can get to the bottom of this.
Maxie: Long story short -- Charlotte's nanny had a family emergency, and she dropped Charlotte off here so that Nina could watch her.
Lulu: Well, where's Nina?
Maxie: Um, at a meeting with advertisers. She's gonna be gone for like an hour. This is the perfect opportunity for you to bond with your daughter!
Lulu: No, Maxie, it isn't. Charlotte hates me ever since I told her that I'm her mother.
Maxie: You are her mother. She's gonna have to get over that.
Lulu: I should've given her time to grieve for Claudette.
Maxie: Okay, don't mention that again. Just be motherly.
Lulu: I can't. [Scoffs] Not 20 minutes ago, Dante and I were talking to Alexis about this. She told me in no uncertain terms to stay away from Charlotte -- not to give Valentin any more ammunition than I already have.
Maxie: Or you could take the opportunity to say hello to you daughter and prove to Charlotte that you're not the enemy. You don't have to make her accept that you're her mother, you just need to be...friends.
Lulu: I don't know.
Maxie: [Scoffs] Lulu, there's no telling when you're gonna have this opportunity again, okay? Look, you can go into court with Charlotte hating you for what happened in that linen closet after my wedding, or you can go in there and try and fix this.
Lulu: [Sighs] Okay. [Sighs]
Charlotte: What are you doing here?
Lulu: I was visiting my friend Maxie. You know Maxie, don't you? Since I saw that you were here, I figured I would say hi. Thought we could talk for a little bit. Maybe do a little coloring together? Would that be okay?
Brick: Far be it from me to criticize. I know you've got your reasons for second-guessing Jason. But he's always had your back before.
Sonny: Jason still has my back... maybe a little too much.
Brick: What does that mean?
Sam: Well, what did you and Curtis find?
Jason: Well, we've got a recording of the woman we think is behind the car bomb.
Sam: Ooh, how did Sonny take the news?
Jason: He didn't, because I haven't told him who we think she is yet.
Sam: Who does --
Dr. Lee: Hi, Sam.
Sam: Hi, Dr. Lee, how are you?
Dr. Lee: Jason.
Dr. Lee: Good, sorry to keep you waiting. Sam, how are you feeling?
Sam: I'm good. I'm fine. Excited. Can't wait to finally meet Scout.
Dr. Lee: Oh, I love that name.
Jason: So, uh, how is everything with the baby?
Dr. Lee: Well, your blood work looks perfectly normal, and most of the tests came out fine.
Sam: Excuse me, what do you mean, "most of the tests"?
Dr. Lee: We should talk about the fetal non-stress test.
Jason: Okay. Uh, I'm sorry, what is that test? Why are we doing this?
Dr. Lee: Oh, because of Samantha's history of the miscarriages and the beta-thalassemia, we decided it would be best to run a non-stress test.
Sam: Yeah, it records the baby's heartbeat.
Jason: Okay, I see. Was there something wrong with the results previously, or...
Dr. Lee: Only that they haven't been uniform.
Sam: Are you -- are you saying that there could be something wrong with our child?
Jordan: We found the person who planted the bomb, Dante.
Dante: Is he in custody?
Jordan: Apparently, he had no idea, no understanding of what he was actually doing.
Dante: I'm sorry, what -- how -- how does that work?
Jordan: He knew that was planting something in someone's car. He thought it was a -- a tracking device. He had no idea that it was a bomb.
Dante: All right, um, who does he work for?
Jordan: That's the question that I asked. That's why I went all the way to Baltimore to find that out.
Dante: Any -- any luck?
Jordan: Yes. He was very helpful, actually. But unfortunately, he refused to come back to Port Charles to answer any questions or be interviewed or sit down in front of the DA in person. And now he's vanished altogether. I'm hoping that he's still in Baltimore, but there's really no way to be sure.
Dante: Well, can you blame him? He probably doesn't want to walk around with a target on his back.
Jordan: No, it's more than just fear. He's homeless, and he's probably got a long history of possible and -- and probably psychiatric problems. So, you know, a simple statement to the new DA -- that's not gonna cut it. That's not gonna cut it. She -- she wants to pad her résumé by saying that she's the one that put Sonny Corinthos behind bars.
Dante: That's it? Th-that's all you were able to find out? Wh-what else happened in Baltimore? Jordan!
Ava: You wanted to see me? What ever for?
Curtis: Well, I mean, isn't it obvious? Art -- and I love it.
Ava: Do you, now?
Curtis: Yeah, I know that I, uh -- I'm a little more rough around the edges than probably your typical customer.
Ava: Mm, art is for everyone.
Curtis: Indeed. And I heard you have the best gallery in town.
Ava: [Laughs] Well, you're damning me with faint praise, but yes, I do.
Curtis: I think it's fair that I tell you that before we go any further, I did some...work with your brother, Julian.
Ava: You're the private eye.
Ava: Okay, great, so now you can drop the act and tell me why you're really here. Please, don't waste any more of your time, or more importantly, mine, and tell me what this is really about.
Anna: I told Valentin to his face... "don't underestimate me."
Griffin: How'd he take it?
Anna: Well, he wasn't a happy camper, you know. Nor was Nina. She was there. I kind of put on a bit of a show for her benefit.
Griffin: Look, I-I think it's great you're challenging Valentin head-on.
Anna: Um, I mean, that's the thing. I thought that's what I was doing, until, you know, for reasons that have yet to be explained -- the, um, WSB -- they -- they just restricted my access to Valentin's files. I mean, they -- they actually went so far as to say that they don't exist.
Griffin: What are you gonna do?
Anna: I don't know. I'll just figure it out. I mean, one way or the other, I'm... [Sighs]
Griffin: Hey, you all right?
Griffin: You okay?
Anna: Mm. It's just a migraine, I think, that's coming.
Griffin: It's never just a migraine.
Anna: No, [Chuckles] I'm fine. It's, um, nothing to worry about.
Griffin: But do you have any history with headaches?
Anna: No. No. I mean... I think I got some... after Duke was killed. When I'm angry and upset, yeah, maybe I get a headache 'cause it's stress-related.
Griffin: Oh. Are you gonna really rely on your layman's diagnosis when you're sitting across the table from a brain doctor?
Anna: [Laughing] I'm totally healthy. Yeah, it's -- it's -- it's nothing. I'm frustrated, is what it is. I'm... every time I feel like... I'm getting to the truth of Valentin... ...he just eludes me.
Laura: I was back on Cassadine Island. And I was in the room where Valentin murdered Nikolas. And Valentin was there, and Nikolas was there. It just like, you know, the way I imagined it over and over again. And Valentin has the gun, and he... points it at Nikolas. And then he -- he's about to pull the trigger, and then it switches. And it's Valentin who gets shot, and he goes crashing out the window and falls to his death.
Kevin: So, in the dream, Nikolas shoots Valentin.
Laura: No. I do. I have the gun. I point it at Valentin, and I pull the trigger. I... I kill him before he can kill my son.
Lulu: What are you drawing?
Charlotte: A fish.
Lulu: It's a very pretty fish. Is blue your favorite color?
Lulu: Oh, well, what is your favorite color?
Charlotte: Fishes live in water. Water's blue.
Lulu: Wow, this is really good -- really good.
Charlotte: What are you doing?
Lulu: Oh, I'm sorry. I was just admiring your picture.
Charlotte: This is my drawing. Nobody said you could touch it. You didn't even ask.
Lulu: You're right. It was just very pretty, I --
Charlotte: Leave my things alone. I don't want you here. I want my mommy.
Lulu: Oh, sweetheart, I'm so sorry.
Charlotte: Go away. I want my mommy.
Nina: You believe this?
Maxie: Nina, you're back!
Nina: Uh-huh, Caroline calls an emergency meeting, then she postpones an emergency meeting.
Charlotte: Get away from me, I hate you! I want my mommy, and you're not my mommy!
Lulu: I'm so sorry.
Charlotte: Make her go away.
Nina: Lulu, what are you doing?
Curtis: Ms. Jerome, I might be taking an offense at, uh, what you're implying.
Ava: Are my suspicions at all unreasonable?
Curtis: Well, now, what would I have to do to convince you that I'm here simply for the beauty of art and nothing more?
Ava: Fine. Okay, so what are you interested in, then? Something to match your vintage pull-out sofa?
Ava: Or are you a collector?
Curtis: Actually, I'm just getting started.
Ava: Oh. Well, I should warn you, then, that my gallery is rather pricey.
Curtis: I thought you said art was for everyone.
Ava: Well, it's for everyone to appreciate. But to buy your own, you need a little money.
Curtis: Hmm. Well, as it just so happens, I just came into a sizeable inheritance, so I finally get to indulge my passion.
Ava: And what passion is that? Modern, contemporary, figurative, abstract, what?
Curtis: Well, actually, I was thinking about something along the lines of Kusama.
Curtis: Yeah, but the collages. They really speak to me. The paintings I find to be a little too, um...
Ava: Out there?
Curtis: Yes. But the collages, right? If you look at them long enough, you can still see them when you close your eyes. Do you know what I mean?
Ava: I know exactly what you mean. Well, I'm sorry. I...I believe I owe you an apology.
Curtis: Well, isn't that a nice change? Usually, I'm the one apologizing.
Ava: Really? You're a troublemaker, eh?
Ava: I-I'm sorry for doubting you. It's -- it's been a very long day.
Curtis: Here, all day?
Ava: Yeah, here. My assistant and I -- we spent most of the day assembling a series of kaleidoscopes by Mark Loewenstern. One of them is as tall as you are. I don't think I've had much of a break all day.
Curtis: Wow, really, all day? Here, you and your assistant? Just you and your assistant?
Ava: Well, yeah, no, we had a bit of a rush before you came in, and I sold two paintings. And the movers were here -- they were packing up what was left from the last exhibit, shipping it to Seoul.
Curtis: Hmm, yeah. You know, I-I bet you're exhausted. So I, you know what -- I'm gonna take off. I'll come back in --
Ava: No, no, no, no, please. [Chuckling] I'm -- I'm fine, really. You said you were interested in Kusama?
Curtis: Yeah, yeah, you know, when that art speaks to you, it, uh, it sings.
Ava: That's so true.
Curtis: Yeah. So if you get anything in, then, you know, you can just give me a holler.
Ava: No, hey, that -- that won't be necessary. I think I have exactly what you have in mind. Shall we take a look?
Sonny: These are all pictures of Julian. It's not gonna get us anywhere. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Brick: What, did you see something?
Sonny: Go back. Someone clearly walked into the frame. You see that? Blonde hair, woman?
Brick: Do you recognize her?
Kevin: Does this... nightmare recur?
Laura: Yeah, that's the strange part. It -- it -- it didn't feel like a nightmare.
Kevin: What does it feel like, then?
Laura: It feels like a memory... of something that didn't happen. Something that I really wish would have happened. Yeah, that's the unsettling part about this, is that... I really felt like I killed Valentin. And then, I was thrilled. Creeped out?
Kevin: Not even close.
Kevin: Where does this take you? What are you thinking about now?
Laura: The other day, I said to Anna that if Valentin hurt my daughter the way he hurt my son that I would kill him. I don't know, I think the dream is just... making me realize how much I meant that.
Nina: It's okay. Everything's gonna be all right. I'm here.
Charlotte: Why is she here?
Nina: Um, that's what I want to know.
Lulu: Okay, I -- I... I stopped by to see Maxie. I-I saw that Charlotte was here. I just wanted --
Charlotte: Shut up!
Nina: Oh, Charlotte, don't talk to people like that.
Charlotte: She deserves it. 'Cause you're mean and a liar and I hate you.
Nina: Charlotte! Charlotte.
Charlotte: I hate her. Please make her go away. Make her go away forever!
Nina: She's leaving. She's leaving.
Charlotte: You're not... my...mommy!
Nina: If you have any consideration for the child at all, you will leave. Please, Lulu, don't say another word. Just go. It's okay. Everything's okay now.
Maxie: Oh, my God. Lulu, I am so sorry. Nina came back sooner than I thought. This is -- this is all my fault.
Lulu: No, it's not, okay? You made a suggestion, and I didn't have to follow it. I-I knew better, and I did it anyway. [Voice breaking] I got to go, I'm sorry.
Nina: Hey, come here.
Charlotte: Are you mad at me?
Nina: Of course not. Why would I be mad at you?
Charlotte: For yelling at her.
Nina: Listen, it's an upsetting situation, all right? While it's not a good idea to yell at people, it's something we can work on, right? I had to work on it.
Charlotte: You did?
Nina: Oh, yes, I did. I used to yell at people a lot. But I worked on it, and I learned. But, you know, the most important thing is to stick up for yourself without being mean or without being nasty. Just stick up for what you believe in, even if it means yelling a little bit sometimes.
Charlotte: When I grow up, I want to be just like you, Nina.
Nina: [Voice breaking] You're gonna be so much better than me.
Dr. Lee: Ideally, during a non-stress test, the baby's heart rate should increase.
Jason: But ours didn't.
Dr. Lee: No. But that's not necessarily indicative of a problem. The baby could've been sleeping. We'll review the tests, and I may ask you to come back for a follow-up.
Sam: Okay. You're sure there's nothing wrong with the baby?
Dr. Lee: All of this is quite routine. I just wanted you both to be aware of it, all right?
Jason: Thank you very much.
Dr. Lee: Okay.
Sam: Thank you.
Jason: You ready?
Sam: Ooh, yeah.
Jason: All right, thank you again.
Dr. Lee: Thank you.
Jason: Ooh, well... other than a brief moment of complete panic, that was, uh, that was pretty painless.
Jason: You okay? Yeah. If you have more questions, we can walk right back in there. We can ask her what we want.
Sam: No, you know what, Jason, this actually has nothing to do with the baby. I want to know who is behind the bomb that killed Morgan.
Jason: [Clears throat] I am not completely sure yet.
Sam: Who do you think it was?
Jason: Well, judging from what Julian had said... Ava.
Sam: What? That doesn't make any sense. No part of this investigation points to Ava.
Ava: [Sighs] And it's a steal at 22.
Ava: I tell you what. I'll charge your card.
Curtis: You'll charge my card $22,000?
Ava: You bring it home, and if you hate it for some reason, you can bring it back here within the week, money-back guarantee.
Ava: What could be better than living with art you love for a few days? Anyway, your card?
Curtis: [Scoffs] Yeah, uh... sure.
Ava: This'll just take a minute. I'm sure someone as handsome as you are has somebody at home, somebody special, somebody who will love seeing that painting hanging on your wall.
Curtis: What? Uh, no, not really.
Jordan: Would you consider going to Baltimore for me?
Dante: I'll go wherever you want me to go, Commissioner. But you just told me the guy's not even there. Is that gonna be a wasted trip?
Jordan: I know, it's a long shot. And even if you find Buzz, the chances of getting him to come back here are...
Buzz: Pretty good, ma'am.
Jordan: Buzz? You're here!
Buzz: Yes, ma'am.
Dante: He's the guy? This is the guy? This is -- this is the man who could save your father.
Sonny: I can't get a good look at her, but you know what? This confirms whatever Jason told me about Julian partnering with a woman. Can I -- the audio? Can I listen to the audio?
Brick: I will, but when you're used to being monitored... you know tricks.
Sonny: Well, Jason said there was -- there was music. I just want to hear it for myself. 'Cause I can tell you right now, whatever Jason's hiding... is on that recording.
Anna: I feel as if I'm... blocking something... from back then. I was a different person.
Griffin: I'm sure you were. It was a long time ago.
Anna: I was very ambitious. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that. But I was... being trained to be a spy, you know. You're taught to manipulate, to seduce, you -- you make people believe that you care about them. And then you get the information that you need, and then you just discard them. Maybe that's what I did to him.
Griffin: As -- as what, practice? Come on.
Anna: I don't know. Maybe on purpose, maybe not on purpose. Either way... perhaps I led him on. Oh. [Winces]
Griffin: Yeah, looks like that migraine's getting worse.
Anna: Mm. [Sighs] I need some water.
Griffin: Look, I've listened to you since the second I sat down at this table. It's time you listened to me.
Ava: I'm so glad you came in, Curtis. I just know you're gonna be thrilled with that painting once you get it home. Now, if you can just excuse me for one moment.
Curtis: What the hell is going on? This isn't adding up.
Ava: I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but your card has been declined.
Curtis: Oh, what?
Ava: Yeah, do you have another?
Curtis: You know, it's the only one I use.
Ava: Ah. Yeah. Well, is your inheritance in your bank account?
Curtis: Yeah, you know, um, it probably hasn't all cleared yet. See, the way my bank account is set up, um... [Stammers] ...I have this fraud-protection thing, so it protects me against unusual large purchases. So, I'm thinking maybe I can just head on over to the bank and come back with a certified check.
Ava: No. That's much too much work. We can arrange for a bank transfer.
Curtis: You can do that?
Ava: Yes, of course, right from your account straight to my gallery's. Right here, right now.
Jason: Actually, I agree with you. There's something wrong here. I just can't put my finger on it.
[Cell phone rings]
Jason: Oh, hello, Curtis.
Sam: Well, what's it say?
Jason: He said, "I went to see Ava," all caps, "no luck. Either a great liar, or we are off track."
Sam: Okay, well, I guess Curtis agrees with us. It just --
Jason: [Scoffs] Nothing makes sense. It doesn't make sense if it's not Ava, and then again, it doesn't make sense if it is.
Sam: Well, then, it's a good thing you didn't tell Sonny that we suspect it's Ava, given the way he feels about her.
Sonny: You're right, the music's killing this recording of the -- the woman's voice was cracking up. Hold on, hold on.
Brick: What? What did you find?
Sonny: Julian just told her... "I'm tired of living in fear... of my own sister."
Griffin: Yes. [Chuckles] These headaches can be caused by stress. They often are... yeah. ...But it can't hurt to get a checkup.
Anna: All right, I'll make an appointment. I will, but I tell you -- the surest way that I can get rid of my headache is if I'm allowed access to these files that supposedly don't even exist, you know?
Griffin: Look, files, reports, papers -- sometimes they get lost or corrupted if they're on a server.
Anna: These servers are designed to survive any hack by a hostile foreign government, so no, they don't just disappear.
Griffin: I hear you, just, if I may, when I left the seminary, a classmate of mine -- he contacted me. He wanted notes on a very inspirational Theology lecture that an elderly priest gave, and this was supposed to be archived on paper, no less. It's nothing. It's nowhere to be found. It's gone.
Anna: Oh, a classmate of yours?
Lulu: Hey, hi, thanks for meeting me so fast.
Laura: Oh, it's okay. You sounded so upset on the phone. W-was it your meeting with Alexis? Did it not go well?
Lulu: Oh, no, no, it was good. Alexis gave me amazing advice, which I did not follow.
Laura: What happened?
Lulu: Um...I sort of... ran into Charlotte.
Laura: And by "ran into," you mean...
Lulu: I...ended up at Crimson, and she was there. And I know that I should have turned around the moment that I saw her, but... she's my daughter. And I just want to fix all of this!
Laura: I know, sweetie, I know.
Lulu: She hates me. She hates me more now. You should've heard her. She sounded so hurt, so angry... scared. Scared of me.
Laura: Oh, honey.
Lulu: No, don't -- don't... [Stammers] It gets worse. Nina saw the whole thing, so I am sure that she's already told Valentin, who's already told his lawyers, and he's going to use all of this against me at the custody hearing -- the custody hearing that I insisted on having. I just handed Charlotte to Valentin on a silver platter.
Nina: [Inhales deeply] I'm gonna ask you something. I want you to answer me honestly.
Nina: Lulu didn't just happen to come by, did she? You called her here to see Charlotte. Is that right?
Maxie: Not exactly.
Nina: How, exactly?
Maxie: I didn't tell her Charlotte was here.
Nina: But you did call Lulu to come over, right?
Maxie: More or less. Yes, exactly.
Nina: I don't even know what to say to you. I trusted you. I trusted you to watch my stepdaughter for an hour or two, and you went behind my back purposely.
Maxie: That's just it, Nina. She's your stepdaughter, and that's a relationship I respect, trust me. But...she's Lulu's biological daughter.
Nina: Okay. Well, biology is overrated, believe me.
Maxie: I think that Lulu has the right to see her daughter.
Nina: Lulu doesn't even see Charlotte as a real person, do you understand that? She doesn't consider Charlotte's feelings at all.
Maxie: That is not true. She just wants to connect with her.
Nina: I'm going to say this very clear to you. Lulu is trying to take Charlotte away from her father, do you understand me?! She wants sole custody! She is dragging us into court!
Maxie: No, no, no, Nina, okay, okay. You...cannot, uh, tell Valentin about this. He's just gonna use it against Lulu.
Nina: Okay, we're not talking about that. We're talking about what happened in my office today, all right? You went behind by back. You betrayed my trust. Not only that, you showed a staggering lack of judgment.
Maxie: Wow, I'm sorry that you feel that way. Um... uh, it was something that I did, not Lulu, and -- and it's over now, okay? So I will just refocus my energies on, uh, something more appropriate, like getting this layout back to you as soon as possible.
Nina: No, you're not.
Buzz: That kid was your brother? I swear to you, they told me it was a GPS.
Dante: I believe you.
Jordan: Buzz, I am so grateful that you came forward to do this, but I got to say, the last time that we spoke back in Maryland, y-you seemed so afraid. What has changed your mind?
Buzz: Well, last night when I got back to the place in Baltimore, I found this waiting for me.
Dante: I'll get him processed.
Dante: Just to be clear, you're not under arrest. You're just under protective custody.
Buzz: Yeah, I understand. I can get it back later. You can read it if you want.
Jordan: "Dear Buzz, if you get this, please reconsider coming back to Port Charles. It's both the right thing to do and the smart thing to do. I know you're afraid -- who wouldn't be? But Jordan Ashford will protect you. You can put your trust in that because I know Jordan. She is an honest cop, a smart cop... the best cop there is. I know how guilty you feel over that young man's death, so Jordan will prove to you that it was not your fault, and you will be able to -- to live out the rest of your days in peace. Just help her out, and she can help you out."
Curtis: I don't know my routing number o-or even my account number offhand.
Ava: Oh, that's okay. Your bank does.
Curtis: They do.
[Cell phone ringing]
Ava: Oh, maybe that's them right now.
Curtis: [Inhales sharply] Actually, it's not. This is -- wow, this is very, very, very, very important. I got to take this. Um, but thank you. I got to go. Bye. This -- this has been great. This -- this has been very educational.
Ava: I do hate a man who gets my hopes up. You were certainly after something, Curtis Ashford, and it wasn't art.
Brick: It's about the only thing you can hear.
Sonny: He was talking to his sister, Ava. The murderous bitch... killed my son.
Buzz: Jason has no love for Ava. Why would he hide this from you?
Sonny: I'm gonna take that up with him later. [Sighs]
Buzz: You need me to arrange for a contractor?
Sonny: [Sighs] No, no. This -- this isn't business. This is personal. I'll handle it myself.
Brick: How you gonna do that with an ankle monitor?
Sonny: Brick, I need a favor.
Maxie: Look, Nina, I'm sorry you feel like I betrayed your trust. I will respect your position as Charlotte's stepmother and stay out of it. Nothing like this is ever gonna happen again!
Nina: You're right, it won't. You're fired.
Lulu: All I had to do was follow Alexis' instructions. Just wait, exercise a little bit of self control. But I couldn't do it. [Voice breaking] I just did what I always do. I did the Spencer thing and I acted on impulse.
Laura: Honey, you were following your heart.
Lulu: What if it cost me my daughter? What if the courts award sole custody to Valentin?
Laura: Don't worry about that. You leave it to me.
Griffin: Yes, what about my classmate?
Anna: No, it's fine, you just gave me wonderful idea.
Griffin: Of course. [Scoffs] I have to go. Please take care of that headache.
Anna: Oh, I will, I will.
Griffin: And I, of course, look forward to hearing this wonderful idea I've inspired.
Griffin: I'll see you.
Anna: Okay. Hi, Robert, it's me. Okay, so, I don't want you to go down any of those other channels, all right, because I remembered something. Wha-- just le-- hear me out. So, there was another analyst that was in class with Valentin at the academy. And I don't think he works for the bureau anymore, but his name, I believe, was Karl Browning. Yeah. Do you think you could help me track him down?
[Knock on door]
Curtis: You wanted to see me?
Jordan: Yeah. Come in. I, uh, I just wanted to let you know that Buzz came back to Port Charles.
Curtis: That's great.
Jordan: He's, uh, giving his statement as we speak.
Curtis: That's great.
Jordan: It is.
Curtis: And, uh... and thanks for letting me know. This is good news. I'll see you later.
Jordan: Hey, Curtis, wait.
Curtis: There's more?
Jason: I got to get going. I need to check up on things with Curtis.
Sam: Okay, I'm gonna stop by and check up on my mom. Will you do me a favor and give me a heads-up if you decide to tell Sonny about Ava?
Jason: Yeah, I'm not gonna tell Sonny. Not yet. There's too many things that don't make sense.
Dante: Sonny? Sonny, where you at? I got some good news for you, for a change. Sonny, you here?! Son of a bitch.
Ava: Sorry, we're closed.
Sonny: Good, 'cause this is just between... the two of us.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Curtis (to Jordan): You and me? We're done.
Kristina (to Alexis): We need to make a toast. To Alexis Davis, newly reinstated attorney-at-law.
Andre (to Hayden): Is GH going to start laying people off?
Olivia Jerome (to Julian): I don't trust you, little brother.
Carly (to Jason): Sonny broke house arrest.
Sonny (to Ava): If my son's dead because of you, that I can't stand for.
