Olivia: Stop! Stop it!

[Both laugh]

Olivia: Your mother or Monica could -- could walk in at any moment.

Ned: Monica -- Monica would cheer us on for breathing some life into this musty old mansion. And my mother -- she's curled up in her crypt, and she won't be out until sundown.

Olivia: [Laughs]

Ned: So relax. We're all alone.

Olivia: Mm. [Laughs]

Dillon: [Yawns] You guys eat all the muffins?

Olivia: Crap!

Jordan: Doesn't it bother you that you're prosecuting an innocent man? Okay. Well, Corinthos is innocent this time. And if you would just look at the evidence that I presented to you, you will see -- hello? He-- damn it!

Andre: Let me guess. The new DA?

Jordan: Yeah. You know, less than three months in office, she's already a colossal pain in my... she's already a colossal pain.

Andre: So I take it the Baltimore trip didn't yield any results?

Jordan: Not exactly the results that I'd hoped for.

Sonny: Thanks for coming by to check on me.

Carly: Yeah, it's a good thing I live so close.

Sonny: Well, I like it better when you're real close, you know?

Carly: Yeah. [Laughs]

[Door closes]

Carly: Wow. How are you feeling?

Jason: Uh, much better, thanks.

Carly: Yeah? So, what's up?

Sam: Oh, we just... came by to say hi to Sonny.

Carly: Straight from the hospital. Did you even stop by your home first?

Sonny: Sam and Jason are doing research for me.

Carly: I got that. What kind?

Sonny: They are on the trail of Morgan's killers.

Alexis: No, I'm not looking forward to it, but I suppose it has to be done, right? Okay. So maybe we could talk about it over coffee or something. Great. Okay, bye.

Julian: Everything okay?

Alexis: Uh, just sponsor stuff.

Julian: And how's that going?

Alexis: Considering I'm not really a spill-your-guts kind of gal, it's helpful. You going somewhere?

Julian: Yeah. As a matter of fact, uh... I'm moving out.

Elizabeth: Shh, shh, shh, shh.

[Monitor beeping]

Elizabeth: Hi, sleepyhead.

Franco: Hi.

Elizabeth: I looked for you everywhere. I'm so sorry I couldn't find you.

Franco: That's okay. You didn't know. Cold storage is all the rage.

Elizabeth: I should've rescued you, and instead, you had to rescue me.

Franco: It's all right. I'm probably gonna get in trouble again. Give you another shot at it.

Elizabeth: Pass. No more trouble for you.

Franco: Totally worth it if I get to wake up to you.

Elizabeth: Where on earth would I be if not right beside you? Little sips.

Franco: Thank you. Could get used to this, right? My own personal nurse.

Elizabeth: Don't get ahead of yourself.

Franco: Mm. I would never.

Elizabeth: So, Kiki and Scott came by while you were out of it. And there was a phone call from D'archam Asylum. Assuming it was Heather.

Franco: Yeah, dear old mom, huh?

Elizabeth: Mm-hmm.

Franco: What's with the flowers? Did they prematurely announce my passing?

Elizabeth: [Chuckles] "Franco, you did good. Get well. Ava."

Franco: Wow.

Elizabeth: Mm-hmm.

Franco: Didn't see that coming.

Elizabeth: Make jokes all you want, but you're gonna have to accept that people actually care about you.

Franco: Are you one of those people?

Elizabeth: Yes, I am. Even though you kicked me to the curb.

Dillon: Morning, Olivia.

Ned: Dillon, let's go. Out. Come on.

Dillon: I want my coffee.

Ned: Well, then go to Perks. They have a great double soy latte. Bye-bye! [Laughs] Sometimes I forget just how crowded the mansion can get at feeding time. Now... [Clears throat] ...Where were we?

Olivia: Leaving.

Ned: What? Wait. No. Because of him? Olivia...

Olivia: No, I've got a meeting with Carly, and I got to pick Leo up from Lulu.

Ned: You know, I -- I understand that you have responsibilities, but I really hate how you have to leave every morning at the crack of dawn. Why doesn't Leo stay here when you do?

Olivia: [Scoffs]

Ned: We -- Olivia, we have plenty of room.

Olivia: Yeah, right.

Ned: I'm serious. There's a crib in the nursery that's ready and waiting.

Olivia: Ned... [Sighs] Ned, that's very sweet, but Leo don't belong here any more than I do.

Andre: Sorry things didn't pan out in Baltimore. Was it a total loss?

Jordan: Uh, pretty much. Yeah. It, uh, started off promising, but then the witness took a powder, and it's a complete waste of time and energy, so... I am just gonna -- I need to put it behind me, and I need to... think about what's next. How was the rest of the wedding?

Andre: Eventful in ways that had nothing to do with the bride and groom.

Jordan: Okay.

Andre: Let's just say I was third party to a confrontation. I'd much rather have been dancing with you.

Jordan: We should talk. Um...in here. My office is being swept for bugs, so... this will have to do. It's standard procedure.

Andre: I know. I need to get something off my chest.

Jordan: I haven't been fair to you.

Andre: Go ahead.

Jordan: No. Please. You go.

Andre: Look, this is the second time I'm kicking myself for taking the wrong stand with you. Jordan, I'm not some Neanderthal. I know you're a professional woman with a big job with a lot of responsibilities, and I know you're committed, of course. It's one of the things I admire about you, one of the many reasons I love you. I shouldn't have given you a hard time about having to leave the wedding. I was being selfish, and I'm sorry. Look, in case you haven't noticed, I love having you in my life. You -- you challenge me and excite me. You make me want to be the best man I can be for you. I'm happy -- I am happy when I'm with you. And I was just plain disappointed that you left to go to Baltimore. I'm sorry I didn't just say that instead. [Sighs] That's it. Your turn.

Carly: I knew that Jason was involved, but, Sam, are you sure you should be?

Sam: Yeah. I'm in more of an advisory role. Pregnancy and P.I. work don't go hand-in-hand.

Carly: Okay. Well, do you have anything? Anything that can get Sonny acquitted.

Jason: We've got a pretty good lead.

Carly: I-I understand that. I know that's why you're here so early. But what kind of lead? Do you have a break?

Jason: This is more of a strategy meeting. We're figuring it out.

Sonny: We actually staged this public breakup at the hospital. For anybody that was watching, they would think that he's not gonna work for me anymore.

Carly: Well, then why would Jason be here so early if you guys are at odds with each other?

Jason: We're attempting to make it look as if Sam brought me here, so she could broker some sort of peace.

Sam: Yeah, and we'll make it look like neither of them are having it, so...

Sonny: And we all know how stubborn Jason can be.

Jason: Yeah, we know how stubborn I am. That should be easy enough to believe. Anyway, hopefully, it still looks like there's still bad blood between us, and that leaves me free to keep digging.

Carly: Who's watching? And where is this investigation going?

Sonny: [Breathes deeply] It starts with Julian Jerome.

Alexis: You going to Ava's?

Julian: Yeah, that's the plan. Still think I've got an ulterior motive? I guess I can't blame you. Truth is, I came here for one reason and one reason only, and that was to get you sober. And you are. So our work here is done. Now I'm gonna get out of your hair.

Alexis: What about that other thing?

Julian: What other thing?

Alexis: That thing that happened when you followed me out from the bar?

Julian: You were never involved in that hit-and-run accident. In fact, you weren't even there. There's no reason why that should ever come up again. Now our business is done, Alexis. You can have your house back. Unless, of course...

Alexis: Unless what?

Julian: Well, unless... you don't want me to move out.

Jordan: I'm starting to rethink my insistence on you going first. It's a tough act to follow. No one has ever said anything like that to me before.

André: Just speaking the truth.

Jordan: I wish I had your way with words, 'cause then I'd be able to tell you... how much you mean to me. I'd be able to tell you... that you are more than what I was prepared for. Somehow, you have become essential to my life, and... ...I wish it didn't take a fight or almost losing you to recognize that.

André: Well, you were never in any danger of losing me.

Jordan: No.

André: If I gave you that impression --

Jordan: No, no, this... this is me. This is on me. This has nothing to do with you. I will make it up to you. Okay? I will make it up to you, and I'm gonna start with this apology. I am sorry... for making you feel like I wasn't choosing you. Because I do. I do choose you, André. It's you or no one else, okay?

Alexis: Are you implying that I want you to stay?

Julian: That was a joke. It was a bad joke. Still joking.

Alexis: Well, I'm glad we're in agreement. I'm glad that we understand each other.

Julian: We do. No further, uh, cohabitation.

Alexis: Do you need me to help you pack?

Julian: Are you in some kind of a rush?

Alexis: I just know that you're not 100%, and I was offering my help while I was still here. I need to go see Sam, and I have something else that I need to take care of.

Julian: Mm-hmm. No, no. Thank you. You go ahead. I can manage. I'm almost done, anyway.

Alexis: So you won't be here when I get back?

Julian: Probably not. But I'm only a phone call away if you need me. Or even if you don't.

Carly: Okay. So, this Rudge guy orchestrated the bombing on someone else's order, and that someone else is a woman?

Sonny: Right.

Carly: It has to be Ava.

Sam: Oh, no. I thought so, too. But it did not check out.

Jason: I don't think Ava would want to kill her own brother.

Carly: I wouldn't put anything past Ava. But okay. All right. Are there any other leads? Anything?

Sonny: Not yet, but if Julian lets his guard down 'cause he thinks that Jason's not on his trail, that could lead us to the source.

Carly: All right. I mean, has anyone considered involving the police?

Jason: Uh, the police in this town? No, I don't think that's a good idea. The department is full of leaks. Listen, Rudge is gone, and if he thinks the cops are looking for him, I don't think he's gonna resurface. And we're running out of time. The case is in the DA's hands now, so we need to find evidence without any, uh... legal obstructions. It's up to us right now.

Carly: All right. Okay, fine. I'm gonna back off, all right? But when you guys find out for certain who killed my son, I expect you to tell me. And then I want to know what you're gonna do to him, and I want to know before you do something that you can't take back.

Ned: Why don't you think you belong here? Has anyone made you feel unwelcome? My mother? Monica?

Olivia: Oh, no. No, no, no. No.

Ned: Dillon?

Olivia: No, Ned, it -- it's nothing like that. It's just that I got to be careful not confusing Leo, so -- so I have to do everything in my power to -- to make sure that I'm not... confusing him. You know, it's -- bottom line, Leo has a home. And this isn't it.

Ned: It could be.

Olivia: Say what?

Ned: Unless you think things are moving too fast. Do you think we need to cool things off a bit?

Olivia: No, no. Ned, you're taking this all wrong. All I'm saying... is I have to be mindful of the steps that we're taking here.

Ned: Oh.

Olivia: For Leo's sake.

[Ringtone chimes]

Olivia: That's Carly. Okay. I got to run. Hey, we're good here, right? You -- you get it, right?

Ned: Sure.

Olivia: I'll see you later.

Franco: For the record, I didn't kick you to the curb.

Elizabeth: Really? Then, what do you call it?

Franco: I call it putting things on hold. I just -- I wanted us to... spend some time apart until we could sort this whole thing out with Tom Baker. That's what I meant. I pressed pause.

Elizabeth: "Pause." You pause a movie.

Franco: Yeah.

Elizabeth: You know, go check your phone and have some snacks or whatever, and then you can unpause it and finish the movie. A relationship can't be frozen in place. It changes in a person's absence. It's one thing when you leave it, and it's another when you come back.

Franco: I mean, I think I know what you're saying. Did I -- did I blow it? I mean, what is it that we -- what do -- what do we have?

Elizabeth: It depends. You left me behind to tackle things on your own. That's not how I want my relationship. With me, we either face things together or not at all. So I guess it's kind of up to you. What do you choose?

Franco: Do you really have to ask?

Elizabeth: I'd kind of like to hear --

Franco: I choose together.

[Kiss]

Dillon: Where's Olivia? Did she run for the hills? You know, she's gonna have to toughen up a little bit if she's gonna roll with the Quartermaines.

Ned: She's plenty tough. But she wouldn't have to be if people around here were a little more welcoming.

Dillon: I said good morning.

Ned: You know what I'm talking about. She was really embarrassed.

Dillon: Whoa! I left you guys alone, okay? And I like Olivia. I also like the effect she has on you. Wouldn't mind if she came around more often.

Ned: I wouldn't mind, either. But I'm starting to think that... she doesn't exactly feel the same way I do.

Olivia: You want to, uh, tell me why we're out here freezing our buns off instead of in our nice, warm offices?

Carly: Better sightlines, you know. I don't want to be anywhere where Julian could overhear what I need to tell you.

Olivia: Julian?

Carly: Yeah.

Olivia: I didn't realize he was on our agenda. What's he done now?

Carly: I need you to know something without knowing it.

Olivia: Go on.

Carly: Julian's involved in something ugly. And I just want you to know 'cause I want you to keep Leo close, and I want you to stay clear. And I'm sorry, Olivia, but that's all I can tell you.

Olivia: Okay. Okay, I-I-I appreciate the heads up. And I will keep my distance. I assume that you've delivered this message to Alexis?

Carly: I wouldn't think I'd have to. Alexis already has a restraining order against Julian. I can't imagine she'd go within a mile of Julian Jerome.

[Knock on door]

[Door opens]

Alexis: I'm sorry. Is this a bad time?

Elizabeth: No, it's fine. Come in. I'm gonna go check on your discharge papers.

Franco: Okay.

Alexis: I'm very glad you're okay.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Alexis: And how are you feeling?

Franco: I don't much like a hospital bed, but I like it better than the cold steel table of an autopsy, so... how are you feeling?

Alexis: Not good about what I did. Better about what you did.

Franco: Alexis, we don't have to do this.

Alexis: You had every reason to believe that I killed Tom Baker. I fully expected the police to show up on my door, but they didn't. You didn't turn me in, and you could have, because I was certainly willing to let you take the fall for something that I know you didn't do. So I owe you.

Andre: Why don't we just go? Get out of town, head somewhere serving anything laced with rum.

Jordan: Okay. Okay, I-I'd like that.

Andre: Yeah. Me, too. Get together later to discuss destinations?

[Door opens]

Jordan: Yeah, I look forward to it.

Andre: Curtis. Sorry things didn't pan out in Baltimore.

Curtis: Oh, man, I ain't willing to write it off, you know? Some things just take a little bit longer to develop than others. I'm sure it'll all be worth it in the end.

Andre: I agree. That's a positive outlook. You're right. Some things are definitely worth fighting for. See you soon.

Jordan: Mm-hmm. What was that comment supposed to imply?

Curtis: [Scoffs] I was just being positive.

Jordan: Ah.

Curtis: Did you tell your boy about Buzz vanishing? What did the DA say?

Jordan: Uh, just what I suspected. She wants to hear it straight from Buzz. And when I told her that he's disappeared, she practically laughed me out of her office. I just tried calling her a little while ago, but she -- she hung up on me.

Curtis: So what next?

Jordan: What do you mean, what's next? That's it.

Curtis: You're going ahead with the prosecution? What happened to reasonable doubt? Corinthos is innocent.

Jordan: Yeah, but that's for a jury to decide. I mean, come on. Why are you acting so surprised? You know the system. She's gonna prosecute the case she has with the defendant she has. That statement, it isn't enough unless the witness is there to back it up.

Curtis: Wow. Damn. Okay. So it wasn't good enough for her. Huh. Tell me something. Did I prove it to you? Am I still on track to get my badge back?

Jason: I'm gonna need equipment so I can start surveilling Julian.

Sonny: Yeah, I'm gonna call Brick, see what he can do for us.

Jason: Perfect. And the more misinformation we can feed Julian, the better.

Sam: [Sighs] Covered. Sorry.

Jason: You all right?

Sam: Yeah. Soon as I leave here, I'll do that.

Jason: Okay, well, then right after that, you're gonna go to the safe house like we discussed. Like we discussed.

Sam: My opinion hasn't changed. I do not feel safer when I'm not with you.

Jason: Okay, look, you're gonna have to let us protect you, okay? I can't do this if I don't know my family's safe.

[Door opens]

Julian: Alexis, I...

Curtis: I was thinking, right, okay, this time I want to do it right, everything above board. I want to -- I want to take the exams, I want to do the academy, although I'll probably be taking the spot of somebody who could learn what I already know, but oh, well. But I want you to know that I'm not trying to jump any steps or skip any rank, okay? I'll wear a uniform. I'll walk a beat, work my way up just like any other cop. I don't want any special treatment.

Jordan: Well, you're not gonna get any.

Curtis: What? What are you talking about?

Jordan: None at all.

Curtis: What are you talking about?

Jordan: I can't hire you, Curtis. I'm sorry, but if you want your badge back, you're gonna have to go somewhere else.

Olivia: I appreciate the heads up. And I will steer clear. Well, I already avoid Julian like the plague, and I got enough on my plate as it is.

Carly: Whoa. What does that mean? Is work overwhelming you? Because I can ask Nelle to help you out.

Olivia: No, it's nothing like that. I-I -- my problems are more of a, uh, personal nature.

Carly: Oh. Everything okay with you and Ned?

Olivia: Actually, everything was going great until this morning.

Carly: What happened this morning?

Olivia: I stayed over last night, and we had this little thing that turned into a bigger thing. And just the whole thing got really weird, you know?

Carly: Is one of his relatives trying to blackmail you? They're really good at it.

Olivia: No, no. Carly, nothing like that. It... Ned invited Leo and me to stay at the mansion. I think he's trying to get us to move in there.

Carly: Ned wants to marry you!

Ned: Olivia got really spooked when I suggested that she and Leo spend more time here.

Dillon: [Scoffs]

Ned: All right, what is that supposed to mean? If you have any thoughts, let's hear them.

Dillon: Well... how do I put this? Okay. Uh...oh! Do you remember that one summer that I bought that little Italian sportscar?

Ned: Yes.

Dillon: It was all flash on the outside. Eventually I had to get rid of it because I realized it spent more time in the repair shop than it did on the actual street.

Ned: What are you talking about?

Dillon: Okay, so maybe Olivia looks at you like that car. On the surface, you're great. But underneath the hood, there's some, uh... [Sighs] Reliability issues.

Sam: Hey. My mom said to meet her here. Have you seen her?

Elizabeth: Yeah, she's in with Franco.

Sam: Why? What's -- what's going on?

Elizabeth: I don't know. I left them in there to talk. I was checking on Franco's discharge papers.

Sam: Oh, well, that's -- that's good. That means he's well enough to go home?

Elizabeth: He's doing better. Thank you. And I heard you the one to piece it all together and find him in the storage locker.

Sam: Yeah.

Elizabeth: Sam, if it hadn't have been for you...

Sam: Stop. Really, it's fine. Actually, if it hadn't been for you, I would have never known about the trouble that my mother was in, so... I think we can probably call it even? What do you say?

Elizabeth: Even.

Sam: All right.

Alexis: I'm making amends.

Franco: Well, there is something that you can do for me.

Alexis: And what is that?

Franco: Please don't forget that you're not the only person in this room that's working on atonement.

Alexis: I won't forget that.

Franco: There's something else. Please take care of yourself.

Julian: What the hell are you doing here?

Olivia Jerome: I thought it was high time that I saw my brother's little love nest. Arts and crafts, rustic, modern. Wow. Alexis has very good taste... in decor.

Julian: Okay, you need to get out now.

Olivia Jerome: I don't take orders from you. You take orders from me.

Julian: Have you lost your damn mind coming here? Somebody could see you.

Olivia Jerome: Don't have a stroke. I saw Alexis leave. Besides, there aren't very many people left in Port Charles that would recognize me. Aren't you going to offer me a drink?

Julian: You know what? There's no alcohol in the house, so you're welcome to a glass of tap water.

Olivia Jerome: Your manners leave a lot to be desired.

Julian: So, this isn't a social call. What the hell do you want?

Olivia Jerome: A status report. You promised me that you would divert Jason Morgan's investigation off of me on to someone else. So who's the scapegoat?

Julian: There is no scapegoat. I changed course.

Sonny: Brick's gonna get the equipment for us.

Jason: That is great news.

Sonny: You need anything else? More manpower?

Jason: This is more than a two-person job, but I don't have time to put anybody else in. Besides, Julian -- I think he knows most of your guys.

Sonny: What about Curtis, that guy that was working for you?

Jason: There was some philosophical differences there.

Sonny: What kind?

Jason: Well, he was under the impression that I will, uh, "handle" whoever killed Morgan. Couldn't get on board with that, so he walked.

Sonny: When you say "handle," what -- what are you prepared to do?

Jason: I'm gonna find out who killed Morgan, and then I'm gonna deliver them to the police. Is that gonna be enough for you, or do you need to go find somebody who will do what I won't?

Dillon: How many times have you been married, Ned? Three? Four? Five times? Do the invalidated marriages count or...?

Ned: There were extenuating circumstances.

Dillon: You were married to two women at the same time. How do you expect that to look to a woman like Olivia? She was left with two kids and guys who didn't want to commit to her. Maybe she's learned to recognize some red flags over the years.

Ned: Wait a minute. Do you think I should marry Olivia?

Olivia: Whoa! You are way, way off on this. Ned is definitely [Laughing] Not thinking about marriage. Is he?

Carly: Okay, Ned spends tons of time with you and Leo, and now he's dropping hints about living together? I mean, I could be mistaken, but it sounds to me like a guy who's thinking about a commitment!

Olivia: I mean, you know I adore Ned. I mean, he -- he gets me like nobody ever has. We've got the same -- the same taste in movies and music. We got the same sense of humor. But -- but marriage? I mean -- I mean, we've never even talked about it.

Carly: Maybe he wants to surprise you.

Olivia: God, I hope not!

Elizabeth: You have been released.

Franco: Guess they're really desperate to get this hospital bed back, huh?

Elizabeth: So you can get yourself dressed and get in that chair, or you can stay here if you prefer. Felix is getting to work soon, and I'm sure he'll be up for that sponge bath.

Franco: Oh, say no more.

Elizabeth: [Chuckles]

Franco: Do I have to sign any papers?

Elizabeth: No, I've got that covered. The only thing you need to decide on is... where you want to go. I can take you to your place or... or? Or you can come home with me.

Alexis: Thanks for meeting me here.

Sam: Yeah, of course. You made me a little worried when you told me to meet you at the hospital. You were in with Franco?

Alexis: I had to clear the air with him about something.

Sam: With Franco?

Alexis: It's a step.

Sam: Okay, well, how'd it go?

Alexis: Okay.

Sam: How are you doing?

Alexis: I'm fine. Just don't worry.

Sam: [Sighs] That's impossible. I really don't know how I'm gonna do this.

Alexis: Do what?

Sam: Um, I've got to go out of town for a little while.

Alexis: Now? Where you going?

Sam: Sonny and Jason had a little bit of a falling out.

Alexis: About what?

Sam: Jason was looking into the car bombing, Julian's car, for Sonny, and -- and I don't know. Something happened. Things got dicey, so he bailed out.

Alexis: Dicey how?

Sam: Mom, Sonny's trial is coming up, and it has Sonny backed into a corner, and Jason is afraid that he may lash out at Julian, and he doesn't want to have anything to do with it.

Alexis: So you're leaving town. That's the solution?

Sam: Yeah, me -- me and -- and Danny and the baby. Just a little vacation. You can come if you want. Actually, I think it would be a really good idea. Julian is not safe to be around right now, Mom. You know that.

Alexis: That's no longer an issue. He's moving out. And hopefully he'll take his bad juju with him. I can't go. I have a program.

Sam: Yeah.

Alexis: And a sponsor. I'm gonna be fine.

Olivia Jerome: You might think that your show of initiative is of value to me. It is not.

Julian: Well, maybe you should hear me out. I think that finding a scapegoat is gonna take way too much time, so I convinced Jason to drop the case altogether.

Olivia Jerome: How did you do that?

Julian: I drugged him. Jason spent a long, painful day at the hospital not knowing if he'd see his unborn child. I guess it changed his perspective, because he cut ties with Sonny immediately and dropped the investigation.

Olivia Jerome: Quite a feat. From everything that I've heard, Sonny and Jason's bond was unbreakable.

Julian: You're right. It was. But Jason has a family now. He puts them ahead of everyone and everything.

Olivia Jerome: That's nice. Good job, Julian. So, moving on to other topics, what's going on with GH?

Julian: [Sighs]

Sonny: No use speculating "what ifs." I don't even know who this woman is. She's not even in my sights.

Jason: I need to know, Sonny.

Sonny: Okay, if you catch this woman, you turn her in to the cops, so be it. Hopefully prison time will be able to neutralize her.

Jason: And if that's not enough for you?

Sonny: You just do me this favor. You find out who murdered my son. After that, it's on me. No one else.

Curtis: We had a deal. You're going back on our deal?

Jordan: We had no deal.

Curtis: We did! You said if I brought Buzz in, you would get my badge back for me!

Jordan: I didn't promise!

Curtis: [Scoffs]

Jordan: I said that your efforts were impressive and I would do what I could!

Curtis: "Impressive." You know what? You never had any intention of helping me in the first place, did you? You only wanted to know what I knew. Wow. I can't believe I'm so stupid that I let you play me. You and that sorry-ass DA, y'all don't care that Sonny is innocent, do you? Like I told you from the beginning, all you care about is a conviction. You need a win, and so does that pathetic DA, no matter who you screw over.

Jordan: Look, if you -- if you want to pursue another job in another department, that's -- I will gladly help you, okay?

Curtis: Yeah, you'll help me. Mm-hmm. Just not in Port Charles, right?

Jordan: It wouldn't work, Curtis!

Curtis: Right. So you just want old Curtis to leave town so I don't wind up right exactly where you want me -- in your bed.

Jordan: [Slaps him]

Carly: Are you okay?

Olivia: Um, you know what? I've never had a panic attack before, but I-I'm starting to think that maybe this is -- this might be what one feels like.

Carly: Okay, why would you be panicked about the idea of marrying Ned Ashton?

Olivia: Are you serious, Carly? Think about my track record! Is this really any big surprise? My -- my -- my last shot at happily ever after ended with my groom Steve being carted off to prison in the middle of the ceremony.

Carly: Yeah, well...

Olivia: Is it really a wonder that I'm keeping those fantasies in check? And besides, you know what? I'm doing just fine on my own. Me and Leo are doing just great. I don't see any reason to change up that game plan now. [Sighs]

Ned: Should I marry Olivia?

Dillon: I'm not saying that you, like, skip 100 steps and jump to a marriage proposal. I'm just saying if you want more with Olivia, you got to show her you have something to offer. Put down some roots, show her that you're here to stay.

Ned: Olivia and Leo mean the world to me. And God knows I'm not getting any younger.

Dillon: All right, please don't turn this into a mid-life crisis.

Ned: It is a crisis if I let the best thing to happen to me walk away.

Dillon: Okay! All right!

Ned: Mwah!

Dillon: Yeah, that was slobbery.

Ned: How did you get so smart, baby brother? Maybe you're not such a lost cause after all!

Dillon: Wait, who says I'm a lost cause?!

Franco: You want me to come home with you?

Elizabeth: You took care of me after my fall, so I would like to take care of you if you want me to.

Franco: Well, I am gonna need...

Elizabeth: Anything. You can have anything.

Franco: Okay, then. Your place it is.

Jordan: I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. [Sighs]

Curtis: So that's how it is now, huh? That's -- that's the new you? You're so afraid of your passions that you got to keep them on lockdown. Like what happened between us in the motel room in Baltimore before you freaked out? You're trying to say it meant nothing to you?

Jordan: It was a -- it was a wake-up call, actually.

Curtis: Wake-up call.

Jordan: Yeah. It was a reminder that you and I have too much history, too many unresolved issues to actually be able to work together.

Curtis: So this is a work thing?

Jordan: I finally have my life the way that I want it, okay? Personally and professionally. Frankly, you don't fit in either!

Curtis: Well, look, you keep telling yourself that, and maybe eventually even you will start to believe it. Let me tell you this much. I'mma do me. I'm gonna stay doing me. And I ain't going nowhere. Deal with it.

Jordan: [Slams door shut]

Elizabeth: Oh, I forgot your things. I'll be right back.

Sam: I heard you spoke with my mother.

Franco: Yeah, she came to see me.

Sam: Thanks for not turning her in. But don't think for a minute it makes up for what you did to me.

[Elevator bell dings]

Jason: I'm gonna find these people. I'm gonna clear you, then I'm done.

Sonny: I know you will. You don't want me to scrape up somebody to help you out?

Jason: Maybe. I mean, I --

[Cell phone rings]

Jason: Hold on. [Chuckles] Hey, Curtis. What's going on?

Curtis: Yo, I've had a change of heart. If you want me, I'm back in.

Jason: Now that you mention it.

Curtis: Good, because I'm extra motivated.

Julian: I've been targeting specific members of the board, but that's, uh, a little slow going. There's been a lot of resistance led by none other than Tracy Quartermaine.

Olivia Jerome: That's too bad! I am so tired of excuses, and I'm tired of waiting. You do not want to disappoint me. You know what happens when I get disappointed. Or do you need some kind of reminder?

[Alexis walks in]

On the next "General Hospital" --

Brick (to Jason & Curtis): Sonny tells me you guys have a problem, and I have the solution.

Bobbie (to Josslyn): Nelle's not available. She has a boyfriend.

Felicia (to Nelle): Looks like someone's head over heels for you.

Elizabeth (to Franco): I think who I love is important to me.

Alexis (to Julian): And what exactly is going on here.
