Finn: How do you get an ambulance out here?
Laura: I can-- I can call General Hospital. They'll send a helicopter.
Finn: Tell them it's a critical emergency. Listen to me. Sweetheart, it's okay. Everything's gonna be fine, okay? I promise.
Hayden: [Weakly] You... [Gasps] told me [Gasps] to stay at the hospital. [Breathing heavily] God, I hate... when you're right.
Finn: Hayden. Hayden!
Laura: What's happening?
Finn: She's not breathing.
Elizabeth: The man who raped me is getting out of prison.
Franco: Well, we'll fight it. We'll file an appeal.
Elizabeth: He's already in the process of getting released. By tonight, he'll be back in Port Charles.
Jordan: What happened to Morgan -- it's not your fault.
André: Logically, I know you're right. But in my heart... I need to be at Morgan's funeral. I understand why you do, as well.
Jordan: [Breathes deeply] Yeah, I'm not looking forward to intruding on that family moment. But the reality is, funerals, they bring out certain types in that world.
Julian: Mm. You mean like the person who tried to kill me? So... why drag out the investigation, huh? You already know that Sonny's guilty.
Jax: Sonny, can't tell you how sorry I am about Morgan. He was a really great kid. Really loved being his stepfather. Gonna miss him a lot.
Sonny: Yeah, me too.
Jax: Brought a gun to your son's funeral?
Sonny: You got to protect yourself at all times. Just go, go, go. Go with Carly.
Jax: Come on, Sonny. What are you doing?
Sonny: What do you mean?
Jax: This is exactly the behavior that got us here in the first place.
Kristina: I know you blame my dad for what happened to Morgan, but you don't have to punish him by showing up with Jax.
Carly: Jax is here to support Josslyn. She lost her brother, just like you did.
Sam: Hey. Are you gonna be okay?
Molly: Well, I am hoping that this is just some nightmare that I'm about to wake up from. I'm gonna go light a candle for Morgan before the service starts.
Alison: Where's Jason?
Sam: [Breathes deeply] Um, he got called away on something. It -- it sounded important.
Max: Hey. Sorry about the timing. This couldn't wait.
Jason: No, it's fine. Brick came through? The broker's here?
Max: Yeah, he's waiting inside.
Jason: He's in there?
Jason: Excuse me. Hi. Mr. Mezzo, good to see you again. You're gonna answer a few questions for me. How did a bomb end up in Julian Jerome's car?
Jax: Morgan's funeral should be a wake-up call, Sonny. You still have four other children to think about. Now, please, just give me the gun.
Sonny: I am thinking about my children. And after today, I won't be a problem for them anymore.
Laura: We're on Spoon Island. How -- how fast can you get here? Yes, Dr. Finn is here.
Finn: Her pulse is back, but it's thready.
Laura: Wait, wait, wait.
Finn: We need to buy her some time. She's got to make it to the hospital.
Laura: What are you gonna do?
Finn: It's adrenaline. It needs to be injected directly into the heart.
Finn: We can't save her life if she dies in transit.
Laura: [Gasps as Finn plunges a huge needle into Hayden's chest]
Hayden: [Gasps and opens her eyes]
Elizabeth: Baker is moving in with his brother near Port Charles.
Franco: How is that possible? How can any parole board in the world listen to what you have to say and possibly think this guy is eligible for parole?
Elizabeth: Because he wasn't convicted of raping me. He was convicted of extortion against Emily Quartermaine. And she died in '07, so he's not a threat to her anymore. Plus, he did 18 out of a 20-year sentence, and the parole board just thinks it's enough. I guess they don't care if he threatens me.
Franco: I will stop him before he can hurt you.
Anna: I'm really sorry I didn't get to know your brother better. You always spoke so highly of him. That says it all right there.
Dante: Thanks. Is Robin gonna make it?
Anna: No. She had to go back to Berkeley. There was an emergency consult or something.
Anna: She wanted to be here for you and Sonny and your family.
Lulu: Maxie texted me that she and Nathan are babysitting Charlotte.
Griffin: Yeah. Yeah, the security detail Anna set up is still in place.
Dante: The whole force is on alert. We're gonna keep your daughter safe from Valentin.
Griffin: Uh, as it turns out, Valentin Cassadine is Charlotte's father.
Kiki: Mom, just promise me you're not gonna show up here. Think about Morgan. Sonny and Carly definitely wouldn't want you here. [Scoffs] I don't even know if I'm welcome. Yeah. We'll talk later. What am I doing here?
Joss: Can I join you?
Molly: Yeah, of course.
Joss: I didn't know you prayed.
Molly: Uh, well, I don't usually, but... if I want to keep talking to Morgan, how else can I?
Joss: I like that thought. I can't imagine ever talking to Morgan again. [Blows out a match]
Kristina: If Jax is here for Joss, then why did he walk in with you? Did you stop to think how that would hurt my dad?
Carly: Sonny has to get through this day the best he can. And so do I.
Michael: Hey, uh, Krissy, why don't we go check in on Molly and Joss? I'm sure they need us.
Bobbie: Well, I take it Kristina was throwing a little tantrum.
Carly: [Chuckles] She's like Morgan. His temper. Oh, I don't know how I'm gonna get through this, Mom. [Voice breaking] I don't know how I'm gonna do this.
Bobbie: Honey, I'm right here. We're gonna get through it together.
Jax: What do you mean, your family isn't gonna have to worry about you after today?
Sonny: Stay out of it.
Jax: I don't think I can, Sonny.
Alexis: Sonny, hey. Hey, hey.
Sonny: Don't touch...
Alexis: Hey. I don't have to tell you how I feel.
Sonny: Thanks for coming.
Alexis: Really? You're gonna do this today of all days?
Jax: Well, he brought a gun to his son's funeral.
Alexis: He brings a gun everywhere, okay? And as much as it pains me to admit this, I wouldn't be surprised at all if my ex-husband tried to pull something when everyone is at their most vulnerable.
Julian: Do your job and nail Sonny to the wall.
André: You've got a lot of nerve demanding the police do your bidding -- today or any other day.
Jordan: Okay. Don't tell me how to do my job, Julian. My department is following up on all the leads, not just the preconceived notions that we all have.
Julian: Which is exactly why I hired my own investigator. Oh, look. There he is now. If you'll, uh... excuse me, Commissioner. Enjoy your morning.
Jason: You're a hard man to track down.
Mr. Mezzo:I was keeping a low profile.
Jason: From us? Really? Why's that?
Mr. Mezzo:When a hit goes wrong, my associates and I go underground. Last thing we need is for cops asking questions.
Jason: I'm not a cop. I look like a cop to you? Do I look like a cop to you?
Jason: So you tell me why Morgan Corinthos is dead.
Mr. Mezzo:Excuse me?
Jason: Sonny called you. He told you to cancel that contract on Julian. You were supposed to call your guy and deliver the message. So, why don't you tell me why that didn't happen?
Franco: Just because the parole board had their hands tied doesn't mean that we can't do something to stop this guy.
Elizabeth: No, no. Absolutely not.
[Elevator bell dings]
Finn: We need a little help here!
Elizabeth: What happened?
Finn: She got sepsis. We need to stabilize her heart rate.
Elizabeth: Sepsis? From what?
Finn: Just help me get her into a room.
Lulu: Valentin is Charlotte's father?
Griffin: Yeah. Well, now we know what all Claudette's lies were about. She was trying to protect Charlotte from her own father.
Lulu: With good reason. He's dangerous. Look at what he did to Nikolas.
Anna: I know. I have every intention of keeping that man away from that little girl.
Nelle: Hi. Sorry if I'm interrupting.
Carly: It's okay. I can't have my mom hold me up all day.
Nelle: Well, I, uh, have something for you. Here. You left these at the house.
Nelle: You mentioned last night that you wanted to wear them.
Carly: Oh, Nelle, thank you so much. [Sniffles] I can't believe I forgot these.
Nelle: Well, that's what I'm here for.
Carly: Thank you. Oh. [Sighs] Morgan got these for me for Mother's Day. He must have been in Junior High. He was so happy because he bought me a gift, you know, for the first time with his own money.
Bobbie: They're beautiful.
Carly: Thank God Nelle remembered them.
Bobbie: [Sighs] Oh, yeah. Conscientious Nelle. [Sighs]
Kristina: Michael, it might be nice if we both sat with Dad.
Michael: Uh, Joss and I are actually sitting with our mom. But you can sit with Dad, right?
Kristina: Of course, since it seems like I'm the only one who's supporting him right now.
Molly: Hey, Kristina. Morgan would not want this.
Joss: Molly's right. He'd want us to help each other get through this.
Michael: And that's what we're gonna do, okay? Just... Kristina, you sit with Dad. Molly, you sit with your mom, and Joss and I will sit with ours.
Kristina: Just feels like we're all being pulled apart.
Michael: We're not, we're not. Morgan loved us. That will always hold us together.
Molly: Come on.
Michael: [Sighs] All right. [Sighs]
Nelle: Michael. What you just said -- that was awesome. They're really lucky to have you as a big brother, you know? And so was Morgan.
Michael: [Breathes deeply]
Sonny: Hey. You came.
Olivia: Oh, honey. [Sniffles] Where else would I be? I know how your mind works.
Olivia: You take on too much guilt. I love you. Dante loves you.
Sonny: You take -- you take care of our son, okay?
Julian: Thank you.
Curtis: You got it. No problem.
Jordan: We should head to the church.
Julian: All right, so, why'd you want to meet?
Curtis: I have some intel into the attempt on your life.
Jordan: As a reminder, the PCPD is all over the bomb that blew up your car, Julian.
Jordan: Any outside contractors interfering with the investigation -- I would highly advise against that. Mr. Ashford.
Julian: So, what the hell was all that about?
Mr. Mezzo:Look, I got Sonny's message to call off the hit. I called the contractor myself. I canceled the whole thing.
Jason: Called him yourself?
Jason: Then why was there a bomb in Julian's car?
Mr. Mezzo:I have no idea. I called my guy. I canceled it immediately when I got off the phone with Sonny.
Jason: Mm. What happened? Huh?
Mr. Mezzo:I have no idea. My guy doesn't even deal with bombs. I have another guy for bombs. My guy makes it look like an accident. A slip in the shower. Something that wouldn't instantly announce that it was a crime. This is not an amateur party. You understand that, right?
Jason: So you're trying to tell me that without a doubt, your guy was not responsible for the bomb in Julian's car? Is that what you're saying?
Mr. Mezzo:Absolutely. Someone else was trying to kill Julian Jerome.
Curtis: Yeah, well, I don't want to talk about Jordan.
Julian: That's fine by me. Just make sure she doesn't interfere with your investigation. So, what's your intel?
Curtis: Well, I got the name of the person who called Pete, possibly to distract him long enough for someone to put the bomb in your car.
Jason: Who planted the bomb? Who else wanted Julian dead?
Mr. Mezzo:I have no idea. If I knew, I'd tell you.
Max: Could be lying. Just covering his own ass so we don't blame him for the screw-up.
Jason: Yeah, he could be. I want to talk to your contractor.
Mr. Mezzo:Doesn't work that way. My services are double-blind.
Jason: It's gonna work that way today, because Sonny thinks he's responsible for the death of his son; and if he's not, I'm gonna need proof. So, you're gonna call your guy. Stay with him. Make sure he makes the call. I've gotta get to the church.
Max: Jason, you're gonna tell the boss, right?
Jason: As soon as we know for sure, I'm gonna tell him.
Kiki: I didn't expect to see you here.
Dillon: I'm a little surprised myself. Obviously Morgan and I didn't really get along. But, Kiki, I swear to you -- I never wanted anything bad to happen to him.
Kiki: I believe you.
Dillon: You going inside?
Kiki: I'm not sure yet. I know that Carly doesn't want to see me, so...
Dillon: Well, think about Morgan. He would want you here.
Kiki: You're right.
Minister: Brothers and sisters, we are gathered here today to honor the memory of Morgan Stone Corinthos.
Kristina: When Michael told me that they were planning Morgan's funeral, I asked if I could say something, which I almost immediately regretted, because how could I possibly find the words to explain how much I loved my brother? But fortunately, I have a brainiac sister who helped me find an appropriate reading. [Sighs] "The righteous one, though he die early, shall be at rest... for the age that is honorable comes not with the passing of time, nor can it be measured in terms of years."
Dante: Morgan had a big family. [Chuckles] To Josslyn and Avery, he was an amazing big brother. And to me and Michael and Kristina, he was an equally amazing little brother. I'm really grateful that I got to be a part of Morgan's life. He was a -- he was a really -- he was a really good kid. And, um, I'm just grateful for every day that I -- that I had with him. [Sighs] "To him, all prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him shall receive forgiveness of sins through his name."
Elizabeth: Sepsis? What infection does she have?
Finn: She came in contact with something in my lab.
Elizabeth: That's why your lab's quarantined.
Finn: I'm right here.
[Monitor beeping rapidly]
Finn: She's going into shock. Easy. Easy, easy. Easy. Shh.
[Hayden seizes repeatedly]
Josslyn: Dante's right -- I adored my big brother. [Voice breaking] He used to like it when I sang, so... this one's for you, Morgan.
Josslyn: Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now I'm found was blind, but now I see 'twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved how precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come 'tis grace that brought me safe thus far and grace will lead us home
Franco: All right. Let's see. If Tom Baker is staying with his brother in Port Charles, let's see if his brother ever had a stubbed toe treated at the finest hospital in Port Charles. Huh. Bingo.
Elizabeth: Her heart rate has stabilized. Let's hope her body stops fighting itself.
Finn: We're not out of the woods yet.
Elizabeth: Now might be a good time to tell me what we're dealing with.
Finn: Please just keep monitoring your sister. I'll be right back.
[Elevator bell dings]
Tracy: Laura. I heard Dr. Finn just brought Hayden in. What happened?
Laura: Oh, I don't know all the details, but apparently there was some incident in his lab.
Tracy: In his lab?
Tracy: Is she all right?
Laura: Uh, well, I'm not sure.
Finn: You talking about Hayden?
Tracy: Yes. How is she?
Finn: We're treating the sepsis. She's stable for now.
Laura: Oh, thank God. That was really scary.
Tracy: I'm glad she's stable. Let's leave the rest to the doctors.
Finn: I am a doctor.
Tracy: I-I know, but, well, Brad and Obrecht had to tell Monica about what was going on in your lab, and she's taking it to the board.
Finn: What does that mean -- I'm out?
Tracy: No, not necessarily. They're deciding now what they're gonna do, but you're probably gonna be banned from your lab.
Finn: Fine. Fine. No access to the lab, tell them I quit.
Finn: I'll take my research to Mercy, and they will get all the glory when I find a cure and publish it.
Tracy: Finn, they're not gonna hire you. You have a reputation.
Finn: None of this matters, Tracy. None of this matters 'cause I am not leaving Hayden's side, all right? I'm the reason she's sick.
Tracy: Wait. She -- she was exposed to something in your lab? Does... does she have the same thing you have?
Finn: [Sighs] It might be worse. She was infected by a more concentrated version. Listen, any GH doctor can treat her for the sepsis, but none of them will know how to handle the underlying infection, all right? You and I both know I'm the only one that can save her.
Tracy: Yeah, well, you -- you can't save her if you're being escorted from the building by security. Oh. I have an idea.
Michael: Uh... Morgan was my little brother. And I was supposed to protect him. I wasn't able to. I-I'd like to think that he -- he'd forgive me for that... ...because here's the thing about Morgan. Yes, we, uh -- we all know that he's spontaneous. You know, he's creative, and he can make us laugh. But the thing I realized about Morgan after he passed was something that we never gave him enough credit for -- his capacity to forgive. Some people took advantage of Morgan's good nature, but he didn't write anybody off. He, uh -- he yelled, and he fought, but he never disowned. He always found a way to make room in his heart again, even for people who did him wrong.
Kiki: Just go away, please.
Dillon: I can't leave you like this.
Kiki: If I hadn't tried to break up with Morgan... if you and I...
Michael: I wish I could be as forgiving as Morgan. I wish we all could. But more than anything, I just -- I just wish my brother was still here... ...because I never had the chance to tell him how much I admire him.
Elizabeth: Dr. Finn. Hayden is stable for now. She's out of shock, and the medication she's on will help prevent any worsening of the sepsis.
Finn: Good, good. I'm gonna need you to gather up a week's supply of all the medications we used and make arrangements for a patient transfer.
Elizabeth: Why are we transferring her to Mercy?
Tracy: We're not. I'm taking her home with me, and Dr. Finn is gonna treat her as a private patient.
Elizabeth: You want me to help you transfer a patient who almost died to a -- to a nonmedical facility to treat some unnamed illness that you won't even tell me about?
Elizabeth: I don't really like this.
Laura: Elizabeth, please, honey. I was there when Hayden collapsed. Believe me, Dr. Finn is Hayden's best shot at survival, even if you don't understand all of these details.
Tracy: Elizabeth, like it or not, she's your sister, and she saved your life. Now it's your turn to do the same for her.
Finn: I know what I'm doing. Please trust me.
Elizabeth: Okay, I'll do it.
Finn: Thank you.
Finn: Thank you.
Tracy: Don't thank me. Just prove me right.
Michael: Next up to speak is our mom.
Carly: [Crying] [Sniffles] It's empty. I don't know if you guys know that, but, um... well, there wasn't a body to recover, so, um... ...so we had to, um, fill the coffin with... things. Pictures of him and, um, his friends and his family. His acceptance letter to college. Symbols. [Sniffles] Symbols of my son's life. Symbols of his potential. And I won't let anybody tell you otherwise, because my son had potential. He was gonna be a great man. [Sighs] And now that potential is just, um... ...it's gone. [Sniffles] [Crying]
Jason: Hey. I got... I got you, okay? I'm never gonna let you go.
Carly: I know. I know.
Jason: I'm always gonna be there for you. Okay?
Carly: I know.
Jason: I'm so sorry.
Carly: I know.
Jason: Come here. Hi.
Sam: What happened?
Jason: [Sighs] I think I'm onto something that's gonna change everything.
Julian: So, Pete got a phone call. So what?
Curtis: He was lured away so someone could plant the bomb.
Julian: In three minutes?
Curtis: It's the best theory we got.
Julian: [Sighs] Mm. So, do you even have a name for this mystery caller?
Curtis: I do. I got it off Pete's cell phone. Oscar Jessup. Does that name ring a bell?
Julian: No. No, no. Can't say that it does.
Curtis: Sure about that?
Sam: [Chuckles] I'm glad you came. Carly really needed you. [Breathes deeply]
Jason: Hey. You okay?
Alexis: She's been doing too much.
Molly: Hey, you should really go home and take care of yourself.
Jason: You know what? Molly's right. We should go home, get some sleep.
Sam: Are you sure you're gonna be okay?
Alexis: It's not up for debate. Go get your sister.
Minister: Morgan's mother asked me to let you know that there will be a reception at the Metro Court starting shortly --
Sonny: I'm sorry, Father. I got -- there's something I have to say. [Sighs]
Franco: Hello. Is this Mr. Baker? Mr. Seth Baker? Hello, there. [Irish accent] This is, uh, Mr. McEwen calling from, uh, Port Charles parole board. I wonder if you could confirm for me, please, that your brother will, in fact, be staying with you upon his release. Ah, great. That's just great. And, uh, if you could confirm for me also, please, your address. 26 Oak. Yeah, Port Charles. Of course, Port Charles. Righty-O. And, uh, you plan on seeing him later this evening, do you? All right, then. Could you give him a message, please? Could you tell him that... I'll be personally following up on this phone call shortly?
Elizabeth: I've transferred all the supplies you'll need to the ambulance, which will take you directly to the Quartermaines'.
Finn: Thank you. I'll make sure Hayden knows what you did for her. If I never said this before, you're just about the best friend I ever had.
Tracy: You're welcome. I'll, uh -- I'll...
[Elevator bell dings]
Tracy: I'll see you at the house. What?
Laura: You really do stick your neck out for the people you care about.
Tracy: Come on. The man saved my life. It's the least I can do.
Laura: Oh, I wasn't just talking about Finn. I think you really care about Hayden.
Kiki: I have to pull it together and go back in there. I refuse to bail on Morgan's funeral.
Dillon: Let me go with you.
Dillon: I want to be respectful towards Morgan and his family's needs. I do. Okay, Kiki? But I'm also thinking about your needs. If you want me to go in there and sit next to you -- we don't have to talk or anything -- I can do that.
Kiki: [Voice breaking] Thank you.
Julian: Why are you questioning me, man? I told you I'd never heard of this Oscar -- what's his name?
Julian: Right. Never heard of him. And by the way, um, I'm the guy who signs your paychecks, so my advice to you is to stop wasting your time with Pete and get me proof that Corinthos was behind the attempt on my life.
Sonny: Before anybody else leaves, I'd like to say something. My son is gone. I can't believe he's gone. He's not coming back, and I know half of you or maybe even most of you blame me. [Voice breaking] But you can't blame me any more than I blame myself. Morgan's life was not easy. [Crying] He deserves to be at peace. But that can't happen because of me, because of what I did. There's only one way he can be at peace. And I know how to make it happen. It's the only way I know how.
[Crowd murmurs with concern as Sonny whips out his gun]
On the next "General Hospital" --
Kevin: What the hell are you doing here?
Valentin: I live here. What are you doing here?
Nina: Don't worry about me. I have everything under control.
Ava (to Scott): I think it's only a matter of time, though, before they find out.
Sonny: I want to make it clear that I'm responsible for Morgan's death.
