Tracy: Luke. I ran over Michael's plans. He is in way over his head. Daddy tried to redevelop the waterfront years ago. He couldn't make the politics work. He knew that ELQ was gonna take it on the chin from the community. If daddy couldn't work it out with that rabble, there's no way doe-eyed Michael is going to be able to.
Levi: It's a matter of social justice.
Morgan: To no one but you. Maxie, come on.
Levi: You're with me, aren't you, max?
Maxie: [Sighs] Yes. Yes, I am. I said I would be, and I am. Levi and I are staying.
Michael: Okay, you know what? Fine. Fine. Have it your way. Yes, I'd like to report trespassers on my property. 1424 elm street. No, nobody's in danger...yet. No, I don't think the offenders are violent.
Kiki: Just here illegally and refusing to leave.
Levi: Because our cause is just.
Morgan: Your cause is just a figment of your imagination.
Maxie: I think that if we all talked about our goals, we might have a lot more in common than we think.
Michael: Their names? Maxie Jones and Levi...Dugelman? Dugelman?
Michael: Thanks. Dunkleman.
Olivia: Hey. You know, how hard is it to make a decent cup of coffee? This is nothing but caffeine and acid.
Dante: [Chuckles] I'm used to it. Thanks.
Olivia: [Inhales deeply] So... [Exhales deeply] What's the word on Lulu?
Dante: I just talked to one of the nurses. They said that she'd be done in the procedure pretty soon.
Olivia: Oh. And then you'll know if she can carry her own child.
Dante: Yeah, I-I just have to accept that this might not work.
Olivia: Honey, it's all gonna work out. I-I got a feeling.
Dante: Oh, you -- you got a feeling?
Olivia: I... [Sighs] Don't tease me just 'cause I'm your mother.
Dante: What? It makes you smile. That's a good thing, right?
Dante: After all the crap Sonny just put you through, I thought you were down for the count this time.
Olivia: Is that your, uh, polite way of asking me if I still loathe your father? The answer is a great, big, fat "yes."
[Knock on door]
Shawn: Hey. Mac said I might find you here.
Sonny: How was your trip?
Shawn: Oh, productive.
Shawn: Yeah, we're looking to send some business overseas and here, you know, assuming we can keep the peace with the Jeromes.
Sonny: That's a big assumption.
Shawn: Something happen while I was away?
Sonny: As far as Julian goes, no.
Shawn: And Ava?
Sonny: Uh, I was gonna end her... but I-I moved her in instead.
Ava: Sonny is more than happy to have you here. What's going on between the two of us has nothing to do with you.
Delia: Then why the hell are you so mad at each other?
Ava: Because he's trying to kill me.
Ava: What's the matter, mother? Don't you like tension tamer?
Delia: Uh, well, it's not the tea. I think it's my hearing. You know, roger always said that was gonna be the first thing to go. Now, I actually thought that I heard you say that Sonny was gonna kill you.
Ava: I did. As soon as I give birth to this baby...I'm as good as dead.
Silas: You don't mind waiting in my office? Shift ends in about half an hour. We'll go to dinner and... sound good?
Rafe: Yeah, sounds good.
[Elevator dings, doors open]
Silas: Hey. Any luck on the investigation?
Sam: Uh, I wouldn't call it luck, but we -- we have made some progress.
Patrick: Yeah, we have, and it led us straight to you.
Silas: I'm not following.
Patrick: We found the car that ran us off the road and killed my son, and it's your car, Silas.
Patrick: It was you, wasn't it? You were out on route 24. You crossed the double line. Car came right at me and Sabrina and Emma.
Silas: I have no idea what you're talking about right now.
Sam: Wait a minute, Patrick. Don't you think you should let me do the questioning?
Silas: It's starting to sound a little bit like an interrogation.
Patrick: Oh, we can arrange that, 'cause I can call Anna if you prefer.
Sam: Stop! Don't jump the gun. No. No. Just want to clear the air.
Silas: "Clear the air"? What does that mean?
Sam: Okay, a black sports car ran Patrick and his family off the road the night of the accident.
Silas: Oh, well, I own a black sports car. It must have been me behind the wheel.
Sam: No, I'm not saying that, but there is more. A nearby garage serviced a black sports car for cosmetic damage the day after the accident, and we looked at the records, and it was your car, Silas.
Patrick: You gonna deny it?
Ava: Mother. Are you all right?
Delia: Oh, you just knocked the wind out of me. Let me see if I got this right. Your baby's father wants to kill you?
Ava: Well, actually, it may not be Sonny's child.
Delia: You fooled around on a mob boss?
Ava: It's complicated.
Delia: Oh, yeah, it always is. So, tell me -- who's the guy behind door number two?
Ava: [Inhales deeply] Sonny's son.
Delia: You slept with two generations of Corinthisises, one after the other? I mean, no wonder the guy is pissed at you. I mean, any guy would be pissed at you, especially a super-macho kingpin boss. [Inhales, exhales deeply] Okay, just tell me. It's gonna be okay -- everything will be all right as long as Sonny is the father, right?
Ava: Well, actually, no. I'll still be just as dead.
Delia: Well, that doesn't make any sense. I think you're holding back on me. What are you not saying?
Shawn: When you say you moved Ava in...
Sonny: I mean she's living with me.
Shawn: In your house?
Sonny: There's been a few developments since you took your trip, okay? I've discovered a few things about, um, our friend and ally, um, Ava. I put her on house arrest.
Shawn: Why? What did you find out?
Sonny: Among other things... Olivia wasn't the only victim.
Shawn: What do you mean? Who else did Ava get to?
Sonny: Listen for yourself.
Olivia: I'm sorry, honey. I don't ever want to speak ill of your father in front of you.
Dante: What are you talking about? You're entitled to your opinion, especially if it's about Sonny and it's negative. He doesn't deserve you. He never did.
Olivia: Yeah, well, you know what? Was taught to forgive. And that's what I taught you, and God knows I have forgiven Sonny for worse than this.
Olivia: And one day, I will forgive him...for taking up with Ava...but this is not gonna be that day. And we will never get back what we had, but, um... you know what? Maybe it wasn't that great to begin with.
Dante: Well, I hate what he did to you, and I made sure he knows that.
Olivia: I don't want this to come between you and your father.
Dante: What kind of son am I if I don't stand up for my mother? My only regret is I didn't -- I didn't get more satisfaction out of it.
Olivia: Yeah. Well, what did he have to say for himself?
Dante: Nothing. He's pissed 'cause I called him out on something he did wrong. I mean, he let me vent until the end, and then...
Dante: Well, never mind. It's...
Olivia: What? What "never mind"? What -- you think I'm not gonna make you tell me what he said?
Dante: When I asked him why he betrayed you, he said it was...something to do with Connie.
Olivia: Connie? What does she have to do with any of this?
Michael: Thank you. Well, the police are on their way.
Kiki: Considering there was no harm done...
Kiki: ...I'm sure Michael would be willing to tell the police that it was a false alarm if you and your friend would just leave now.
Michael: Very willing.
Maxie: Well, I mean, that seems fair. We've made our point.
Levi: We have not yet begun to fight.
Morgan: What is that -- a john Paul Jones quote? Or was he, uh, "I regret I have but one life to give for my country"?
Michael: That's Nathan hale.
Kiki: That was impressive.
Morgan: Well, whatever. He was the straight "a" student, and our parents wanted him to be a lawyer, but that was before he went to prison for manslaughter, so...
Maxie: Morgan! Michael is not gonna be slaughtering anyone. Right, Michael?
Michael: Given that the cops are on their way, no, not at the moment. [Sighs] But what I'd like to do is avoid this whole conflict. Maxie, you're a friend. I don't want any trouble with you, and I-I definitely don't want you arrested.
Maxie: That's very sweet --
Levi: An arrest would give us a media platform. The more attention we can draw to the cause, the better.
Morgan: Yeah, it's gonna be kind of hard to work the media from a jail cell. I don't think you're gonna have too many people tweeting on your behalf.
Maxie: He has a point.
Levi: But we have the moral high ground. This revitalization project is just a front for big business.
Michael: It's an investment in the city of Port Charles.
Morgan: Seriously, dude, there's enough problems in the world. Why are you trying to create them where they don't exist?
Kiki: It's very simple. He's trying to impress his girlfriend.
Levi: This is just so that ELQ can run out the honest, hardworking people of this neighborhood.
Morgan: What? You mean the homeless people?
Levi: You want to flatten the buildings and replace them with glass towers and wyndhams. I'm going to stop it. Max, I thought you'd be by my side, but if you're not committed to this, now is the time to back out. I'll go it alone. What'll it be?
Tracy: Look, I probably should get off the phone in case Michael and Kiki decide to, uh, rechristen the office. Ugh. Speaking of which... Luke, when are you coming home? I know we have a cover to maintain, but I miss your snark. I-I... I miss you. I-I'm working as fast as I can. Suffice to say the wheels are in motion, and soon enough, Michael will be out of ELQ, and I will be reinstated as C.E.O. Michael has absolutely no idea what's coming.
[Alice blows whistle]
Levi: Well, Maxie, are you going to stay and be an agent of change, or are you going to take a backseat while change erupts all around you?
Maxie: [Sighs] An agent of change.
Levi: That's my ladylove! [Chuckles]
Morgan: Oh, ladylove?
Kiki: I-I got to get out of here. We're not gonna get any work done here -- not as long as "occupy Port Charles" is occupying the brownstone.
Kiki: And I really want to talk to my dad. I'm worried about my cousin.
Michael: Rafe? What's going on?
Morgan: Just -- I'll -- I'll fill him in.
Michael: Fill me in on what?
Morgan: Oh, it's fine. Mikey and I -- we got -- we got it.
Kiki: Okay. Good luck with Maxie and the revolutionary, okay?
Morgan: Good luck with your, uh -- with your family.
Kiki: Yeah. Thanks for being there. I really liked our talk.
Morgan: Yeah, if -- you know, if you need anything, just...
Michael: Let me know.
Kiki: Okay. I will.
Olivia: Sonny blamed his hookup with Ava on Connie?
Dante: Not exactly. Look, you know how he gets in his head, and he -- I don't even know what it is. He can't speak whatever he's feeling or whatever it is, but Carly came in. He was about to say something, but she came in and got him off the hook.
Olivia: Well, to be fair, Carly probably knows what's going on in Sonny's head better than Sonny does.
Dante: Yeah. Well, according to Carly, Sonny slept with Ava to sabotage his relationship with you because he felt like he didn't mourn Connie's death long enough, and he got together with you too quickly, and he was trying to handle his own guilt.
Olivia: Yeah...no. No. No, Carly is usually spot-on about this kind of thing, but this time, no, she's -- she's just dead wrong. Sonny and I -- we went out of our way to always be so respectful of Connie's memory. And -- and -- if anyone had something to be guilty about, that would be me.
Dante: Would you stop it? You didn't do anything wrong.
Olivia: And I would go hare Krishna before I'd hang my bad behavior on my poor dead cousin, and so would Sonny. No. No. He may have slept with Ava, but even he's not that far gone. No. No. This -- this excuse stinks like last week's fish fry.
Shawn: This is for real?
Sonny: Carly tracked it down for me. [Clears throat]
Shawn: Ava killed Connie, and AJ figured it out. That's when you walked in on them and found them together -- not what Ava led you to believe.
Sonny: Ava wanted me to see what she wanted me to see. AJ's dead because of it. I broke my promise to Michael. And I shot AJ for nothing.
Shawn: Why did you -- why do you even let Ava live?
Sonny: Why? Because, Shawn, if I kill her... I kill my own flesh and blood.
Delia: You're telling me that, even if that little bun in the oven is Sonny's, he's gonna ice you? I mean, that's a hell of a grudge for a guy to have against the mother of his baby. Unh-unh. I don't buy it.
Ava: Never could get anything past you, mother.
Delia: All right, what's going on here?
Ava: [Sighs] I did something...that made Sonny unhappy.
Delia: I'm afraid to ask. What could you have done that made him so unhappy that he wants to kill you?
Ava: I think it's best if I don't delve into that right now.
Delia: Well, then don't delve, but don't end up like jimmy Hoffa, either. Why don't you call the cops?
Ava: If the cops were a viable option, I would have called them some time ago, believe me.
Delia: Well, why aren't they?
Ava: Because if the police found out about this thing I did, they would be almost as unhappy with me as Sonny is.
Delia: Well, what kind of trouble have you gotten yourself into this time, Ava?
Ava: Doesn't get much worse. Sonny is keeping me prisoner here until I give birth... and then he is gonna kill me... unless you save me.
Patrick: Did you or did you not bring your car in for service the day after the accident?
Silas: Yeah, I did.
Patrick: You son of a bitch!
Sam: No, no, stop. Stop.
Silas: Chill out. I brought my car in. I didn't run anybody off the road.
Sam: Let's just hear Silas out, please.
Silas: There's not a lot to hear. One morning, I came down to my car. I saw I had a little bit of damage, and I just assumed it got sideswiped in my building's parking lot.
Patrick: Sideswiped in the garage, Silas?
Silas: Hey, listen, I understand your -- I-I want to know what you think. I need to know what you think. Do you think -- do you think there's any chance I ran this guy's family off the road -- that I killed a kid, and I just went home, and I parked my car, and I didn't bother telling anybody about it?
Sam: No, no. Of course I believe you. But, Silas, we can't ignore the evidence. Your car was put at the scene. I mean, the only -- the only question is, was someone else driving your car the night of the accident?
Tracy: Geez, Alice. You practically gave me a heart attack.
Alice: Oh, really? Is that even possible?
Tracy: [Scoffs] Why, because I have no heart? Gee, Alice, that joke was old when Alan was in grade school.
Alice: Well, some things never change, do they?
Tracy: I thought you were supposed to be at mother's camp.
Alice: Well, camp is over for the day. Thank God, because those kids really ran me ragged today. [Sighs] I need to get back in "dominator" shape.
Tracy: Hey, I know what -- there's a gym downstairs.
Alice: I don't think I can do that today. My stomach's kind of hurting. Besides, I just brought this by to show Michael. The kids are doing a project for him to thank him for funding the camp. It's a puppet show about the family. Monica. [High-pitched voice] Hello. I'll take your temperature.
Tracy: I recognized the hair, if nothing else.
Alice: [Normal voice] I like that one. Oh, oh. And here's one. Look -- it's me. Don't mess around with me. [Chuckles]
Alice: Wait -- I got this one. Here's Michael.
Tracy: The noble hero. How charming.
Alice: Oh, and here's my favorite. You.
Alice: It's the prototype.
Tracy: And what is the purpose of this little exercise?
Alice: Well, I suggested they do a story about the family coming together in adversity, but maybe a better idea would be a story about betrayal, being that I just heard you plotting to overthrow Michael and oust him from the company.
Maxie & Levi: [Chanting] Housing's for the little guys, too. Stop the greed of ELQ! Housing's for the little guys, too. Stop the greed of ELQ! Housing is for the little guys, too. Stop the greed of ELQ!
Morgan: The demo guys left these, so we're in luck.
Michael: Uh, no, thanks. Um, what was Kiki talking about? I mean, what's going on with her cousin?
Morgan: He's just -- he's got problems.
Michael: What kind?
Morgan: Uh, it's -- it's hard to say. Kiki's not sure, but from the sound of it, she's not worried for nothing.
[Maxie & Levi continue chanting]
Patrick: So, if you weren't driving your car, then who was? Someone else had access to your car?
Silas: Slow down. Sounds like --
Patrick: It sounds like you're avoiding the question. You were either driving the car, or you're trying to protect the person that was.
Maxie: So, like, we're not gonna pull a Gandhi for the waterfront, are we? Because I have to be honest -- I don't think have a hunger strike in me.
Levi: I have faith in you.
Maxie: That's really sweet of you to say. Is that a yes about the hunger strike?
Michael: [Sighs] Look, Maxie, this is your last chance, all right? I really -- I really hope you take it.
Levi: Is that a threat?
Michael: [Sighs] Once the police show up, and there's a crime in progress, they'll take over. It's gonna be completely out of my hands.
Levi: The PCPD can do their worst. Not a one of them will sway Maxie and me from our cause.
Nathan: Not even me?
Dante: Sweetheart? Hey. How you doing?
Lulu: Is it over?
Dante: Yeah. Yeah, the orderlies just brought you back in. They said you did pretty good.
Lulu: Did it work?
Dante: We don't know yet.
Olivia: We'll know soon -- just as soon as Dr. Chu gets here.
Dante: Hey. I just want you to know you're my hero.
Dante: No, you have been through the wringer for this family.
Lulu: It won't matter if the operation failed.
Dante: You know, all that matters is that you and Rocco are okay. Everything else is icing on the cake.
[Knock on door]
Dr. Chu: How's the patient?
Lulu: Ready for the verdict. Can I carry our baby?
Shawn: Ava's pregnant?
Sonny: Yeah. We don't know if the baby's mine or Morgan's.
Shawn: Well, I'm sorry to hear that, Sonny.
Sonny: Not as sorry as I am...or Morgan or Olivia.
Shawn: I'm sure they haven't taken the news well.
Sonny: Uh, no, no. They didn't take it well at all. So, uh, Ava's gonna, you know -- I'm gonna keep her at my place 'cause I don't want her taking off with the baby. I want the baby to be treated well. But as soon as, uh, the baby's born...she's done.
Shawn: That's a long time to cohabitate with her.
Sonny: Well, you know, I'm patient. She can pull -- Ava can pull anything she wants. She can, you know, have her mother move in and -- you know, bring it.
Shawn: Who are we talking about here?
Sonny: Her pip-squeak mother. She's got, like, a bird nest.
Sonny: You know, and she's, like -- her voice sounds like a blender.
Sonny: She thought -- Ava thought she could move her in, right, and it would drive me out of my head. But the joke's on her because I can leave my house. Ava can't.
Sonny: So she has to stay with her mother.
Delia: Wait a second. You want my help?
Ava: Is that so strange?
Delia: Ava, we've had, like, two serious conversations, and I'm not blaming you. I mean, I gave you up for adoption, and you didn't find me till you were a grown-up, so it's not like I helped you pick out your prom dress. But still, you wanted one thing from me, and I told you who your real father was, and we know how that turned out.
Ava: I don't have anybody else.
Delia: Well, what about Julian, your brother? I hear he's some kind of hot shot.
Ava: Bridge burned.
Ava: Well, I'm not exactly Kiki's favorite person at the moment, and even if I was, I-I can't risk involving her in this.
Delia: Oh, so you're willing to risk your mother?
Ava: I'm trying to protect my daughter! I'm sort of hoping you have the same instinct here!
Delia: What if I don't?!
Ava: I'm dead. And I'll tell you something -- Sonny will be sure that my child never knows his grandmother.
Delia: Well, you never let me meet Kiki.
Ava: And I'm sorry. And I'm trying to make amends here. I don't want to make the same mistake again. Please...mom. If you won't do it for me... would you do it for the baby?
Delia: Okay, so if I help you... what do you have in mind for me?
Shawn: You know, this -- this play of Ava's -- the irritating mother.
Shawn: There's got to be more to that.
Sonny: Look, you don't think I know that, you know, Ava didn't just move her mother into the -- into my house for no reason? I know she has an angle. I'm just trying to figure out what it is.
Ava: Sonny has an audio recording of a conversation betw-- between me and somebody else.
Delia: And you were talking about what?
Ava: This thing that I did.
Delia: The thing -- the thing that made Sonny so unhappy?
Ava: Yeah. But there's another item on the recording...about Sonny... equally damning.
Delia: You know, it's a shame that you and Sonny don't get along because the two of you are made for each other.
Ava: [Chuckles] If I could just get my hands on that recording, then I would have the leverage I need to stay alive after I have the baby.
Delia: Okay, well, where does he keep it?
Ava: I don't have the foggiest idea.
Delia: [Sighs] That's not good.
Ava: But that's -- that's just where you come in.
Delia: Oh, yeah, 'cause I've been known to have a nose for valuable items.
Ava: I've searched the house, but the problem is, my minders never leave me alone for very long. But that could work to your advantage because while Sonny is watching me...
Delia: No one's watching me.
Ava: Exactly. And Sonny would never suspect U. He -- he just thinks that you're here to annoy him.
Delia: And why would he think that?
Kiki: Hi, Sam. Dr. Drake. Silas, can I talk to you for a minute?
Patrick: Actually, we need to talk to you first, Kiki.
Silas: My daughter's --
Patrick: Were you driving your father's car the night of A.J. Quartermaine's funeral?
Kiki: Yes, I was driving. Is -- I'm -- there was a lot of confusion on how I was getting to the funeral that night. Morgan drove me here to the hospital so I could pick up your car. What's going on?
Sam: Your father's car was used to force Patrick and his family off the road.
Kiki: So you think I'm the one who did it?
Sam: No, we are not saying that. No.
Patrick: What time did you get home from the funeral? That accident happened about 9:20.
Kiki: I got home at 10:00, 10:30.
Patrick: So you had plenty of time to run us off the road and then drop the car off at the gage?
Kiki: I didn't even have the car that night.
Sam: You -- you -- just said that you picked the car up from the hospital.
Kiki: I know. I-I ended up driving, uh, your car from the hospital to our apartment, and then Morgan drove me to the funeral, and Michael drove me home. You can ask either one of them.
Sam: Did you take the keys with you, or did you leave them at the apartment?
Kiki: No, I left them at the apartment.
Patrick: Was there anybody else at the apartment?
Sam: [Sighs] There was one other person, wasn't there? Rafe.
Levi: Well, if it isn't the blue heelers.
Maxie: I don't know what that means, but I'm sure he meant it respectfully.
Levi: You come to trample our rights, coppers? Silence our voices?
Nathan: Dunkleman, there isn't a gag big enough. Dispatch said there were trespassers?
Morgan: Yeah, as you can see.
Michael: You know, they really didn't need to send a detective.
Levi: Well, "overkill" is the PCPD's middle name.
Nathan: Yeah, I saw Maxie's name on the report and thought that I might come down and try and defuse the situation before anybody got in trouble.
Maxie: The trouble was here before we showed up.
Morgan: No, I was here trying to get work done.
Levi: This project is unfair, and wee gonna put a stop to it.
Michael: Mr. Dunkleman here seems to have confused himself with Che Guevara.
Morgan: Yeah, uh, we think he's trying to impress Maxie.
Nathan: Maxie, Levi, you need to clear out, okay, before this situation gets out of control.
Levi: Control is what we're taking. We're taking control for the people of the waterfront.
Morgan: Dude, okay, name one person that you know on the waterfront.
Levi: And we're taking control for Maxie. She needs a distraction ever since you sabotaged her bid to see her baby.
Nathan: That was nobody but you, Dunkleman.
Levi: This again?
Maxie: Levi had nothing to do with that.
Morgan: You have any idea what they're talking about?
Michael: No idea. Look, Maxie, Nathan doesn't want any trouble. Morgan and I certainly don't want any trouble. The only person who seems to want trouble here is your boyfriend. Okay, can you just please take him and go?
Levi: Ignore me all you want, but Maxie and I are staying right here.
Michael: This is private property.
Morgan: Dude, we are renovating it.
Levi: You can't -- not while we're squatting over it, with squatters' rights.
Nathan: Nobody is squatting over anything.
Maxie: How do you know?
Nathan: Because we share an apartment. Okay, legally, you cannot be living there and squatting here. So, vacate the premises now.
Nathan: Or I'll arrest you.
Levi: I dare you.
Lulu: What was the diagnosis?
Dr. Chu: It was what we'd hoped. Your issue was a septate uterus, not a bicornuate uterus. Repairing it was a very straightforward procedure. You should be up and at 'em soon.
Olivia: So, there were no complications?
Dr. Chu: None.
Olivia: And no side effects to worry about?
Lulu: The only side effect I care about is whether I can have a successful pregnancy.
Lulu: Can I?
Dr. Chu: After a short period of rest and recovery, I can see no reason why you shouldn't be able to carry an embryo to term. Congratulations.
Olivia: Didn't I tell you guys that everything was gonna work out all right?
Dante: You always do.
Olivia: Well, this time, I was right, right? And now there can be a little brother or sister for -- for baby Rocco. [Chuckling] And a new grandbaby for me. I was gonna say, "for me and Sonny," but, um...
Lulu: I'm sure he'll be just as pleased.
Olivia: Yeah. I was gonna say maybe we should give him a call, but, uh, I guess he's got enough to think about with his new baby, huh?
Delia: And why would Sonny think that I'm here to annoy him?
Ava: [Sighs] He -- he made me his prisoner. I'm in no position to stage some kind of escape. So I'm -- I'm doing everything I can to make him reconsider forcing me to stay here, and I'm doing everything I can to drive him crazy. Inviting you here was another tactic.
Delia: Meaning you think I'm a pest.
Ava: I didn't say that.
Delia: Do I annoy you?
Ava: You are doing me a huge, huge favor here.
Delia: Well, I haven't agreed to do that yet, and maybe I shouldn't do it because you find me so damn annoying!
Ava: Please! You have to help me. If you don't, I'm dead. And Sonny will never, ever let you see this baby.
Delia: Assuming that's true, which, in your case, is a big, big assumption...
Ava: Just don't abandon me again. I need you.
Sonny: [Sighs] Don't tell me the family reunion has hit the skids.
Sam: Rafe had access to your car, didn't he?
Patrick: Rafe -- his nephew Rafe?
Sam: Yes. Silas.
Silas: No, the kid's not allowed to drive the car. He doesn't even have a driver's license. He's got a learner's permit. I can't believe he would be involved in this.
Patrick: Well, it sure gives him plenty of motive to not report the accident, doesn't it?
Sam: Kiki, anything to add?
Patrick: Please, Kiki, if you know something, you need to tell us, okay? My son died because of this accident. I need to know what happened.
Kiki: I actually came to the hospital to talk to Silas about Rafe.
Sam: Why? What happened?
Kiki: He hasn't been himself lately. I saw him this morning, and he was really upset.
Sam: You need to tell us everything you know. This is really important. If he's in trouble, we have to help him.
Kiki: He said that he stole money out of your purse.
Silas: Have you ever noticed any money missing?
Sam: Yes, actually. Yes, I-I did. I thought I put it in another purse.
Silas: Okay. So the kid stole some money, all right?
Sam: No, Silas. It wasn't the first time.
Silas: What? What do you --
Sam: The cops brought him to the house a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, he stole some money off of a street artist.
Silas: When was this?
Sam: Uh, Danny's birthday. He said he was just -- he -- he wanted to get Danny a really nice birthday present.
Silas: Why didn't you tell me?
Sam: Because I couldn't. Your wife showed up, and then everything got weird. I was gonna say something, but it slipped my mind.
Patrick: Okay, I'm sorry. Can we get back to the accident? If Rafe was the one that drove us off the road, we need to find out.
Sam: Oh, my God. Yes. Yes, it could have been Rafe.
Tracy: Hmm. I think that you are hearing things Alice, which is not surprising, considering the number of blows you've taken to the head. I think you should sue the wrestling federation. Now, if you'll excuse me...
Alice: I know what I heard, and I'm disappointed in you, ms. Tracy -- trying to betray your own grandnephew?
Tracy: I'm doing nothing of the kind.
Alice: Well, maybe you're not in your right mind. Maybe this behavior of Mr. Luke's has sent you 'round the bend. But, still, that's no excuse for accepting Michael's generosity and then using it against him to oust him from the company.
Tracy: It's my company. He stole it from me.
Alice: It's the family's company, and I just can't abide by this.
Tracy: Really? What's that supposed to mean?
Alice: It means that Mr. Michael needs to know what's going on here.
Tracy: You wouldn't dare.
Alice: [Scoffs] He's doing good work. He's doing work that honors your father and his father.
Tracy: Put down the phone, Alice.
Alice: Mr. Michael? It's Alice Gunderson.
Maxie: Wait. Wait. Let him go!
Morgan: Get him out of here.
Levi: I'm not going anywhere.
Michael: Alice, you there?
Alice: Yes, sir. I'm right here. Uh, we need to talk.
Michael: Yeah, sure. What's up?
Nathan: Read him his rights and take him to the station.
Maxie: Levi. Levi, what are you doing? Are you okay?
Levi: Just making them work for it, dar--
Maxie: Don't hurt him!
Nathan: Maxie, let them do their job.
Maxie: So they can abuse my boyfriend? Put him down!
Nathan: Stop making a nuisance of yourself.
Maxie: Let me go!
Levi: Yeah, you give him what for, Maxie! Huh? How do you like that, west, eh?
Nathan: Max, you shouldn't have done that.
Morgan: Yeah, that's an understatement. You just assaulted a cop in front of two other cops.
Maxie: Well, I didn't -- I didn't mean -- look, you shouldn't have walked in here like you had the right to tell Levi and me what to do.
Nathan: Maxie, I am a detective that was dispatched to the scene of a crime in progress. That is exactly my right.
Maxie: Well, I think that that sucks, and you're just a bully. And I was always taught to stand up to bullies, so you know what? I'm not going anywhere.
Nathan: I beg to differ.
Tracy: Alice, I can't be held responsible if you don't put down that phone. Not another word.
Michael: Alice, you still there?
Alice: Yes, sir. I'm here. I'm here at ELQ offices. There's something going on here that you need to know about.
Michael: What are you talking about?
Maxie: Um, get this off of me.
Nathan: I will uncuff you when you calm down.
Maxie: Morgan. Morgan, you are my witness to police brutality.
Morgan: Come on, dude. Is this really necessary?
Nathan: It'd be helpful if you'd stay back. Stop moving.
Morgan: Look, look, look. I get that she pushed you, but she's not dangerous. You don't really need the cuffs.
Dante: I gave her strict instructions -- no more grandbaby talk until I give her the okay.
Lulu: She was excited.
Dante: I know, but her excitement comes across as pressure.
Lulu: I promise I don't feel pressured.
Dante: That's good because there's no need to be. We -- we don't have to rush into this and make any decisions. We take as much time as we need to figure this out.
Lulu: Yeah. It feels so nice, knowing that we have something to figure out.
Dante: Yeah. It does, doesn't it?
Sonny: You two aren't getting along? Well, I know that Ava can be a little touchy sometimes, uh, but I know how thrilled she is to have you here. She wants as much face time as she can get with you. All right, so, I'll let you two get back to it. If you need me, holler to max. All right? Oh, and, uh, Delia?
Delia: Yes, Mr. Corinthos?
Sonny: You know, it's -- it's gonna -- it's gonna be great. I-I love that you're staying here. Have fun, girls.
Ava: Don't let him snow you.
Delia: I'll do it.
Ava: You will?
Delia: Yes. Even though you think I'm annoying, I am still your mother, and even though we don't have the best relationship -- in fact, we don't have any relationship at all. [Inhales, exhales deeply] But you're still the little girl I gave birth to. And you're the little girl that I had hopes and dreams for. [Sighs] So, since I brought you into this world, I'll be damned if I'm gonna let that bastard take you out.
Patrick: Sam, what is it?
Sam: I remembered something. I ran into Rafe in the park after Gabriel died, and I told him about the baby, and he -- he lost it. I have never seen him like that. He was completely distraught, and I thought he was just emotional because the baby died, and it reminded him of losing his mother, but now I know. It must have been him. It must have been Rafe who was driving the car.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Maxie: (to Michael) He's trying to hold me hostage!
Alexis: (to Ned) Maybe Tracy and Luke are not so far apart after all.
Tracy: (on the phone) Get me an ambulance immediately.
Molly: Rafe doesn't do drugs.
Silas: We're really going to bring the police into this right now?
Rafe: (to Nina) I can't wait to see how you're going to explain this one.
