Sonny: Listen, you bitch. I don't know if you're telling me the truth or if you're making all this up. Here's what's gonna happen. We're gonna -- I'm gonna take you to Port Charles. We're gonna go to the doctor of my choice. If you're lying, you are dead.
Ava: And if I'm telling you the truth?
Sonny: You're still dead... nine months from now.
Gus: What are you so antsy about? It's not like you can go anywhere.
Ava: I'll get that.
Gus: Where do you think you're going?
Ava: Relax, bruiser. I'm just answering the door, not trying to escape. It's not like I could get past the guardhouse, anyway. [Sighs] Thank God you're here.
Carly: I got to get going.
Sonny: Okay, we haven't settled things.
Carly: There's nothing left to settle.
Sonny: If Franco opens his mouth about what I did to A.J., I'm gonna have to handle things.
Carly: Hey. Stop, all right? You don't have anything to worry about.
Sonny: I think I do.
Carly: No, you don't. Franco might hate you, but he cares about me, and he knows how important it is that Michael never know what happened, okay? Sonny, Franco isn't gonna tell anyone that you killed A.J.
[Knock on door]
Franco: Yeah. And before you call security, I just need one minute of your time. There's something that I need to say to you.
Michael: Why would I be interested in anything you have to say?
Franco: I know that you and I have never been close.
Michael: Yeah, you're right. We haven't.
Franco: But there's something that you need to know. Although, fair warning, I don't think you're gonna like it.
Morgan: This is fun, right?
Kiki: [Chuckling] Right.
Morgan: What project has Mikey gotten us into?
Levi: That's what we'd like to know. We read about your so-called revitalization project in the paper, and we're here to shut it down.
Morgan: Okay, Maxie, what's going on?
Maxie: Well, we read --
Levi: No, I'll tell you what's going on. We're to stop you from ruining Port Charles.
Slade: Well, well, well. I didn't expect to get a call from you so soon. Don't tell me you, uh, blew through that last stash I sold you already, huh?
Sam: Oh, my God.
Patrick: What is it? Sam, is that the person that ran me off the road and killed my son?
Slade: We good?
Rafe: Yeah. Yeah. [Sighs] No.
Slade: [Sighs] Come on, man.
Rafe: Can I owe you?
Slade: [Scoffs] What do you think I've been doing the past few weeks?
Rafe: All right, I know. It's just...
Slade: You think I've just been floating you out of kindness? It's because you've been a good customer. At least, I thought so.
Slade: But, uh, it seems like I might have pegged you wrong.
Rafe: Wait, wait, wait.
Slade: Listen, kid. Pay your tab. Till then, you're cut off.
Patrick: Sam, what is the name? Sam?
Sam: I know the owner.
Patrick: You know the owner? Who is it?
Patrick: Sam, who owns the car?
Nina: Wow. The biggest office in the most prestigious hospital. This is a long way from the on-call unit at Manhattan north.
Silas: Yeah, I guess it is.
Nina: Yeah. I'm so proud of all your accomplishments since I was sleeping. I hope Sam knows what a lucky girl she is to have you in her life.
Morgan: Okay, who are you, and how are we ruining Port Charles?
Levi: I'm Levi Dunkleman, and I'm guessing that this is the ELQ waterfront revitalization project.
Kiki: Yeah, it's part of it.
Levi: We're here to protest.
Kiki: What, exactly, are you protesting?
Morgan: Okay, so, let me get this straight. We're taking a run-down neighborhood, and we're making it nicer, and that's bad?
Maxie: Well, the thing is, in its current configuration, it's only gonna be nicer for the rich, not the poor.
Kiki: No, no, no, I think it'll be nicer for everyone.
Levi: Oh, really? And once you finish your so-called improvements, how will the neighborhood residents cope with skyrocketing rents? You're going to drive the locals out.
Morgan: No, we're not.
Levi: Yes, you are.
Kiki: Okay, okay, I have an idea. Why don't you wait until we make the neighborhood nicer, and then you can come back and protest? You can force ELQ to rent the improved living spaces at an affordable price for lower-income families.
Levi: No. No way.
Maxie: It sounds like a good idea.
Levi: No, it's not, because they don't --
Morgan: Okay. Hey, hey. Hey. While you guys figure out another way to protest us, we're gonna get back to work. Maxie, it was really nice seeing you. I-I do question your choice in friends now, so if you could show him the way out, please?
Levi: [Chuckling] Oh, mate. Ahh. We're not going anywhere. [Sighs]
Michael: My mom and Kiki aren't here to make me listen to you, and I'm very busy, and I don't have time for whatever this is.
Franco: Yeah, I think you're gonna feel differently when you hear what I have to say.
Michael: This is about you moving in with my mom and Josslyn -- I know. Morgan told me. And you're right. I don't like it. Unfortunately, you're my mother's mistake to make.
Franco: Michael, I'm not here to talk to you about your mother. I'm here to talk to you about your father.
Sonny: What's our houseguest up to?
Gus: Ah, she's in the living room...with a friend.
Sonny: Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean friend? What -- how could she have a friend?
Gus: A guest, then.
Sonny: Who's the guest? Who is it?
Gus: I don't know. She just showed up a few minutes ago.
Sonny: Okay, you know what? Wait out here. I'm gonna go ahead and figure this out, okay? I hear you have a guest.
Ava: Sonny. I didn't expect you back so early.
Ava: I'd very much like for you to meet... my mother.
Delia: The pleasure is mine, I'm sure.
Maxie: What are you doing?
Levi: It's called a sit-in, just like the ones I used to organize with the aboriginal tent embassy.
Maxie: Yes, I remember you telling me all about that, and I was very impressed. But we're not a tent embassy or the aboriginals, and you think we could just, like, change this ourselves?
Levi: Change starts with one person, max, and we've already got double that.
Maxie: Okay. Okay. If you think that this will help...
Kiki: I appreciate what you guys are trying to do, but you are wasting your time.
Levi: Did Gandhi waste his time? Or Mandela? Or martin Luther king?
Kiki: No. They were protesting the government. What you guys are doing --
Morgan: You may as well just be talking to the wall.
Kiki: [Scoffs] Morgan and I can't change what is going on with this project, and we can't stop it, either, so why don't you take this protest to ELQ, where they actually have security?
Levi: Yeah, well, if you guys can't change anything, you better get somebody down here who can because we're not leaving until we've been heard.
Michael: You have to tell me something about my dad? Sorry -- is this some sort of a game? 'Cause I'm not gonna play. So tell me what you have to tell me or go.
Franco: Michael, there's something that you need to know about the man who you call "father."
Carly: There's my C.E.O. Franco. What are you doing here?
Michael: [Sighs] He said he has to tell me something about dad.
Delia: You must be the Sonny Corinthos.
Delia: Yeah, like I said. I'm Delia Reid Ryan Ryan Coleridge crane Coleridge at your service.
Sonny: So you're Ava's mother?
Delia: Oh, yeah. [Chuckles] Of course.
Sonny: Oh, yeah.
Delia: Listen, I have to tell you -- I am so excited about this because it's like meeting a celebrity because we only serve Corinthos coffee at the bar that I manage for my son Johnny in the city.
Sonny: Oh, so you're from New York city? Ye. Uh, what are you doing up in Port Charles?
Delia: Well, where else would I be? I drove here the second that my daughter called me and told me that you knocked her up.
Patrick: Silas? Dr. Clay is the one that ran us off the road? Oh, my God.
Sam: This can't be right.
Patrick: His name's right there, Sam. It says "Silas Clay" right there.
Sam: I know that. I know that. Silas does drive a black sports car, but that's impossible. He couldn't have done something like this. You know that, right?
Patrick: I'm gonna kill him.
Nina: Hi. Have you been waiting long?
Nina: That's so my fault.
Rosalie: I believe you. Dr. Clay.
Silas: Always a pleasure, Rosalie.
Rosalie: Mm-hmm. I'm so glad you got Mrs. Clay here when you did. We were running out of things to talk about.
Nina: Well, I'm here now.
Travis: You must be Nina.
Travis: I'm Travis Harmon.
Nina: I'm super excited to meet you.
Travis: It sounds like we're gonna be working together for quite some time, and I have a feeling we're gonna get on like gangbusters.
Nina: Great. I can't wait to start.
Travis: Then let's begin, shall we? The sooner I evaluate you, the sooner I can get a true picture of your condition.
Nina: Oh, um, hey.
Nina: You -- you don't need to stay.
Silas: Well, it's the least I can do.
Rosalie: Can say that again.
Nina: I don't want to keep you from your patients.
Silas: No, all I have are my rounds, and there's plenty of time.
Nina: No, really, I'm fine. Rosalie is here.
Silas: You sure?
Nina: Yes, I'm sure.
Silas: Okay. I want a full report.
Nina: [Chuckles] That doesn't surprise me.
Silas: Mm. Take good care of her, Travis.
Travis: You got it.
Silas: Thank you. Good luck.
Travis: Right, Nina. Let's jump right into it.
Travis: Let me just have a look here at your leg. Aah!
Nina: Keep your hands off of me.
Sonny: Is that what your daughter told you?
Delia: Yeah. Oh, hey, no judgments here, okay? Because truth be told, I had Ava out of wedlock. And I gave her up for adoption.
Sonny: I'm sure giving up that bundle of joy must have been very difficult.
Delia: Oh, difficult? Oh, yes, it was so difficult, Sonny. Oh, excuse me -- I mean, Mr. Corinthos. And giving up my baby girl -- it killed me. It really, really killed me.
Sonny: I'm sure it did.
Delia: Oh, yeah, but, you know, times were different then, and I really wanted to keep her, but, well, you know, I was young, and I was all confused about everything, and I was in love with the wrong Ryan brother. In fact, neither one of them would give me the time of day. And then in walked Ava's father, the mobster. Oh. [Chuckling] Oh, I'm sorry. No offense. I mean, I'm not calling you a mobster. I know you're a "coffee importer." [Chuckles] Hey, listen, I'm hip, okay? So don't worry. I am a bastion of discretion.
Sonny: You know, it's funny. All this time, Ava never mentioned that she was close with her mother.
Delia: Ava and me? Close? [Laughs] We're not close at all. Well, uh -- we-- well, not until now. You know, I was very surprised when Ava called and invited me here. Uh, well, actually, "surprised" is not really the word. The word is actually more like, uh -- oh, yeah, I know. "Suspicious."
Sonny: Why would you be suspicious of your own daughter?
Delia: Well, because Ava always has ulterior motives, just like her mother. Right, baby?
Sonny: And what do you think Ava's ulterior motive is right now?
Delia: Uh, I don't think she's got one. I think she's on the up-and-up 'cause I think it's all about family for her.
Sonny: Oh. Well, there's nothing more important than that. Ain't that right, Ava? Family?
Delia: And I'm so excited that she's making me a grandmother again. It's so great because we're gonna have the chance to connect like we always should have -- mother, daughter, grandbaby-daddy.
Sonny: How long did Ava invite you up here to visit for?
Delia: I'm not here to visit. I'm moving in.
Carly: I'm sorry. Franco said what?
Michael: He had something to tell me about dad -- something I wouldn't like.
Carly: Did he?
Michael: Hang on. Hello?
Both: [Chanting] Stop the greed of ELQ!
Morgan: Mikey, I think you'd better get over here.
Michael: Why? What's up?
Morgan: Just get over here.
Both: Stop the greed of ELQ!
Michael: Okay, I'm on my way.
Both: Stop the greed of ELQ!
Michael: I got to go take care of something. Can this wait till later?
Carly: Absolutely. Yeah. [Chuckles] It can. Love you.
Michael: Love you, too.
Carly: Okay. [Sighs] You son of a bitch!
Patrick: I'm gonna kill him. I'm gonna kill him.
Sam: No, no, Patrick. Patrick, wait.
Patrick: I know that you're involved with this guy, but he ran us off the road and killed my son.
Sam: Please, just calm down. Let's think about this for a second.
Patrick: Oh, my God! I saw him every day -- every day when I was in the NICU when Gabriel was fighting for his life, Sam. He didn't say anything to me. He didn't say a word.
Sam: Exactly. If Silas were responsible for what --
Patrick: What do you mean, "if he's responsible," Sam? You saw his name right there. He didn't care to report the accident, but he cared to get his fricking car fixed?
Sam: No, no. This is why there must be some mistake. I know Silas better than anyone, and I'm telling you -- the person you're describing -- that -- that is not Silas.
Rafe: Hey, uncle Silas.
Silas: Hey. What a nice surprise.
Rafe: Yeah. Uh, how -- how is everything, you know, with -- with Nina?
Silas: She's in physical therapy as we speak. We're gonna have her back on her feet in no time.
Rafe: That's -- that's great. But, uh --
Silas: But that's not what you were asking, was it?
Rafe: Well, it's just I know things have been awkward between you two and Sam.
Silas: Yeah, I know things seem odd. They -- they are odd, but I don't want that stressing you. All right? I'm -- I'm gonna make sure this all works out. Okay?
Silas: So, what brings you to my neck of the woods?
Rafe: Actually, uh, I have a favor to ask of you.
Silas: You got it. What do you need?
Rafe: Could I...possibly borrow some money?
Silas: That's the favor? You got it. How much you need?
Silas: Well, I haven't exactly got that on me. Um, what do you say we back up for a second, and you tell me why you need that much money?
Travis: I'm sorry, Nina. Or -- or should I call you Mrs. Clay? I-I know that someone touching you might be uncomfortable at first, but rest assured I am a professional and that everything we do together is a bona fide part of your therapy.
Nina: I don't care what it is. You're not groping my leg, and I don't need physical therapy.
Travis: I know that some patients are resistant to the very idea of therapy, but from your medical records and what Rosalie has shared, you were in a coma for a very long time. We need to go through this together if I'm gonna get you out of that chair.
Nina: Let me ask you a question...Travis. Does it look like I have a problem getting out of this chair?
Patrick: Come on, Sam. We both saw his name right here on this damn computer, okay? Silas brought his car into this garage to get fixed.
Sam: I'm not denying that, but it could just be a coincidence.
Patrick: It's not a coincidence.
Sam: It could be. Silas does drive a similar make and model of the car that was used in the accident. It doesn't mean it's the same car.
Patrick: It's a black sports car with damage all the way down the passenger side, okay? Did he tell you if he got in an accident? Did he mention anything like that?
Sam: No, he -- he didn't, but that -- that doesn't prove anything.
Patrick: Okay, you know what will?
Sam: What? What are you gonna do?
Patrick: Answers -- I'm going to get answers from Silas.
Silas: I'm not sure, but 400 bucks seems like a nice chunk of change for a kid your age.
Rafe: Yeah, I know. It's just, uh... there -- there's this camping trip.
Silas: A camping trip?
Rafe: Yeah. Yeah. A couple friends of mine from school are going, and, uh, I thought it might be fun to go with.
Silas: Sounds great. I guess you must have patched things up with Molly and TJ.
Rafe: Uh, no. No, they're -- they're not cong with. It's -- it's other friends from school.
Silas: Is that right?
Rafe: Yeah, you -- you wouldn't know them.
Silas: No, I probably wouldn't, would I? I haven't -- I haven't been as present in your life lately as what I'd like to be.
Rafe: Sure you have.
Silas: No. You know, it's just I've been -- been busy here with my patients and -- and then there's Sam and Nina, and I guess I just -- I dropped the ball when it came to you. I keep doing that, don't I?
Rafe: No, you -- you've been great, uncle Silas.
Silas: Let me own this, okay? It's the only way I'm gonna do better by you.
Silas: You know, the thing is, the way -- the way you were raised -- you know, with your mom and the things that you went through, I guess I just took for granted that you were a good kid with a good head on your shoulders, and...I never had to worry about you too much getting into trouble.
Travis: I was led to believe you could barely stand, let alone walk.
Rosalie: Oh, a lot of people are led to believe things that are not true. Get in line.
Travis: I don't understand. If you don't need physical therapy, why are we even here?
Nina: Oh. Because we're putting on a show for my husband. [Snapping fingers]
Rosalie: Oh, you are not snapping your --
Nina: My checkbook. Can you just give me... thank you. Um, as I was saying, we're putting on a show for my husband, and you, my friend, have just been added to the cast.
Sonny: So, you're moving in? Is that right?
Delia: Well, Ava told me she's going through a very difficult pregnancy -- something about not being able to leave the house. Right, honey?
Ava: Yes, yes. That's right, mother. I'm utterly housebound. Sonny has even assigned guards to be sure that I don't hurt myself.
Delia: What a great guy. You know, you're a good egg, Corinthos.
Sonny: Yeah, I do what I can, Delia. But you know what? I got it under control. You don't have to stay.
Delia: Oh. Well, that's very kind of you, and I know I don't really want to leave roger back in New York, but I think my baby girl needs me. So, I just want to thank you so much for giving your blessing for letting me shack up --
Sonny: Actually, I didn't.
Delia: [Chuckling] Oh, really? Ah, like I said, Ava's always got something up her sleeve.
Ava: [Chuckles] You know, uh, mother, um, I could really use some decaf tea. So, do you think you could, uh, whip some up for me?
Delia: Oh, yeah, yeah.
Ava: And then it'll give Sonny and me a chance to talk this over.
Delia: Okay. All right. I'll take myself to the kitchen, and I'll find something that's good for your pregnancy. Oh, you know, my ex-sister-in-law Siobhan -- uh, she always had these hippie-dippie herbal teas that were good for pregnancy. So, um, I'll go find one. I hope there's a good selection there in the kitchen...wherever that might be.
Ava: Mom. Mom.
Delia: What? Oh. Okay.
Delia: I'll find it. No, I won't. Oh, okay.
Ava: [Exhales deeply] Well, I sure hope Delia didn't upset you.
Sonny: Not at all.
Ava: Really? Not even a little?
Sonny: Uh, no, 'cause, uh, I know what you're up to, lady. Ain't gonna work.
Carly: You bastard. You were about to tell Michael that Sonny shot A.J.?
Franco: Sonny Corinthos deserves everything that's coming to him.
Carly: So you're gonna blow Michael's life apart?
Franco: I'm finally gonna tell Michael the truth. The sooner he knows the truth about Sonny, the sooner he can be free from Sonny.
Carly: Michael doesn't want to be free from his father!
Franco: You can be free from Sonny. Believe me, Carly -- the -- the quicker that Sonny is out of your life, the better off you'll be.
Carly: You are a hypocrite. How can you stand there and claim that you were gonna tell Michael the truth because it's the right thing to do?
Franco: It is the right thing to do.
Carly: You wouldn't know the right thing to do if it jumped up and bit you in the ass! You were gonna tell the truth to Michael because you're threatened by Sonny. That's why. Yeah, you are. He got under your skin like he always does, and you just want to retaliate.
Franco: Being threatened by -- by Sonny is only a small part of this.
Carly: Okay, so you tell me something, all right? When you tell Michael the truth he so deserves to hear, what then?
Franco: Michael turns his back on Sonny.
Carly: I'm not talking about Sonny. I'm talking about me and Michael. What then, Franco? Because if you tell my son what Sonny did, and he knows that I was covering for Sonny, that will absolutely destroy my relationship with him.
Both: [Chanting] More greed's not what we need. Shame on you, ELQ.
Michael: I got here as soon as I could. What's going on?
Both: Shame on you --
Kiki: Ugh, please stop chanting! Stop! Stop! Stop!
Maxie: Hey. Uh, did you have a chance to meet my boyfriend at the nurses' ball?
Michael: No, I did not.
Levi: Levi Dunkleman.
Michael: Michael Corinthos, C.E.O. Of ELQ.
Levi: You're the one to blame for all of this.
Carly: I thought I could trust you.
Franco: Of course you can trust me.
Carly: How can I trust a man that would risk my relationship with my son just so he can get back at my ex?
Franco: But we're talking about that now, right? So, that's not --
Carly: I spent an hour with Sonny convincing him that he had nothing to worry about from you because there's no way you would tell Michael the truth and risk your relationship with me.
Franco: Carly, because you said that your relationship with me was important to you, right?
Carly: Of course it is.
Franco: Okay, and then I walk in on you and Sonny, and you're -- you're in the middle of this -- of this very -- it's a moment, right?
Carly: Okay, you know what? I have been talking and talking to you, but you're not listening.
Franco: No, I heard you. You said that you just ran into him in the park and that he was looking for his nephew, and that was just an innocent hug between friends.
Carly: Wow, and -- and you just don't believe me.
Franco: Carly, you have this whole history with the man. You and Sonny -- you have all of this stuff. I -- yeah, you'll have to forgive me, all right, if -- if I have moments of doubt.
Carly: You need to get your moments of doubt under control because Morgan's life is imploding, and if Michael learned the truth about A.J., It would destroy him. So, you bet your ass that Sonny and I are gonna work together as parents to do whatever we have to do to protect our kids.
Franco: I can live with that.
Carly: Then you live with this, Franco. If you can't accept that Sonny will always be a part of my life, I cannot be with you anymore.
Franco: What, exactly, are you telling me, Carly?
Carly: I don't know how else to say it, because I can't live with your jealousy. I can't. And you know what? I-I can't live with this threat that the next time Sonny pisses you off, you're gonna run and tell Michael the truth.
Franco: I...I don't know why I do some of the things that I do sometimes, Carly. I don't know.
Carly: That's a problem.
Franco: Yeah, I'm trying. I'm -- I'm really trying. And I-I see Sonny, and everything just kind of goes out the window.
Carly: No, don't. Don't do that. Not about Sonny. This is about me and you.
Franco: I made a mistake. But don't give up. Don't end us, please. You got to give me another chance.
Ava: Oh, dear. Which of my nefarious plans have you foiled now?
Sonny: You said that, when I got rid of the booze, you were gonna find a way to make me suffer.
Ava: Oh, what was I supposed to say? You took the alcohol away.
Sonny: So this was your plan? To have your mother move in here and drive me nuts?
Ava: Yeah. Yes, all right. You got me. That's the plan exactly, and the best part of it is you can't do anything about it.
Sonny: Is that right?
Ava: That's right. You can't bump her off because her entire family knows that she's here with me in your house.
Sonny: Well, everybody knows that you're here with me, and I'm still gonna kill you.
Ava: Your code won't allow you to kill an innocent, and she has no part in this, so she is going to stay here with me -- unless you want me to tell her the real reason I can't leave this house.
Sonny: You don't have to twist my arm. If she wants to stay here, I'm happy.
Sonny: You tipped your hand too much, Ava. It's pretty obvious that your mother drives you more crazy than she drives me.
Ava: Well, on the contrary. I find her quite charming.
Sonny: Well, be prepared to be charmed because if your mother wants to stay here and bond with you, I am not gonna stand in the way, 'cause, unlike you... I actually can leave this house.
Travis: What's this?
Nina: Yeah, lots and lots of it, and there's more where that came from if you play along.
Rosalie: My boss isn't quite as broke as her husband thinks she is.
Nina: What is this -- like, a week's worth?
Rosalie: A month, easy.
Nina: A month? Wow. A month. I'm still getting used to inflation. I'm guesstimating on everything. So, um, Travis. This is how it's gonna go. My husband is going to bring me to these sessions, and you are gonna report back to him on all the progress I'm making.
Travis: I don't understand. Where will you be while he thinks you're here?
Nina: That's above your pay grade.
Travis: But it's not that simple. Dr. Clay works here at the hospital. What am I supposed to tell him if he comes looking for you, and you're not here?
Rosalie: That, Travis... is a very good question.
Silas: I promise -- I'm gonna do better. I'm gonna be more involved in your life if you -- if you give me the chance.
Rafe: Yeah, of course.
Silas: Okay. What do you say when I get off my shift tonight, we go out, and we have some dinner, and we talk a little bit more about that camping trip?
Rafe: [Sighs] Yeah, that sounds great.
Silas: I mean it. I know you've lost a lot. Believe people are gonna be with you for the long haul, but I'm gonna figure out a way to make all this better. I may not have said it before, but I love you, kid. I'm not letting you fall through the cracks. Come here.
Sam: Hey, hey! Hey, please, whatever you do, just don't fly off the handle. You don't know anything for sure yet.
Patrick: I do know that Silas is doing rounds down at the hospital, and I'm gonna ask him some questions.
Sam: Okay, fine. I'm coming with you.
Patrick: Okay, Sam, we haven't always gotten along, but after you lost Jason, and I thought I lost Robin, we became friends, right?
Sam: Yes. Right. And I would never do anything to jeopardize --
Patrick: If you're trying to run interference between me and your boyfriend --
Sam: Patrick. Stop. Come on. I want to get to -- to the truth, too, no matter where it leads us. And to tell you I believe with everything inside of me that this is all a huge mistake. But whether it is or it isn't, as your friend, I need to make sure you go into this with an open mind.
Michael: So that's why you're against the waterfront revitalization project -- both of you?
Levi: Gentrification, man. The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer.
Michael: [Sighs] ELQ is replacing abandoned buildings like this right here with -- with parks and condos and stores.
Levi: Mate, not all the buildings were abandoned. There were homeless people squatting in some of them.
Michael: Yeah, living without utilities in unsafe buildings.
Morgan: Dude, you're not even from Port Charles, so you obviously don't know, but we have homeless shelters here.
Michael: Yeah, Maxie, maybe you could told your boyfriend here that both ELQ and Corinthos coffee make large contributions to those shelters.
Maxie: Yeah, we hadn't actually talked about the whole homeless thing very much. I think Levi -- and me, of course -- were just worried about that whole gentrification thing.
Michael: [Sighs] Look, Maxie, this project is gonna be good for the city of Port Charles and the people living in it.
Maxie: Maybe that's what you believe you're doing, but --
Levi: It's easy for you to say that, mate. Once the rents are driven up, the people whose houses aren't being renovated won't be able to afford their homes anymore.
Michael: This isn't gonna affect the people who already own their homes, unless they want to sell it, and in that case, they stand to make a pretty substantial profit.
Maxie: Well, then what about the renters?
Levi: What about the renters?
Michael: The city of Port Charles requires that a percentage of all new housing developments be offered to lower-income families and individuals. Not only will those families and individuals be able to live here -- they could save money on transportation if they work and live on the waterfront.
Levi: Oh, like those two? You agreed to let them stay here for free, didn't you? And what happens when your work finishes, huh? Where are you gonna live? In some cardboard box out the front of some posh boutique?
Kiki: I'm his girlfriend.
Morgan: And I'm his brother, so...
Kiki: So probably not.
Levi: [Exhales deeply]
Michael: Yeah, look, Levi, um [Sighs] I respect your opinion, and I appreciate your concern for the less-fortunate residents of Maxie's and my hometown, but the way I see it, there's nothing here for you to protest, and even if there was, you don't have a permit to assemble. So I'm gonna have to ask you to leave.
Levi: I don't think you understand, mate. We're not leaving until we've changed your mind and this revitalization project is stopped. Isn't that right, max?
Michael: Maxie, I'm sorry, but your boyfriend here is being completely unreasonable, and he's trespassing. So if you don't leave this house right now, I am gonna have to call the cops.
Carly: I need to know that my friendship with Sonny isn't gonna come between us.
Franco: Yeah, no problem.
Carly: At the same time, Franco, I need to know that any secrets I share with you in confidence you're not gonna use against me the next time you and I have some kind of fight.
Franco: Of course not. I'll never do anything like that again. I promise.
Carly: What you almost did tonight to my family and to my son...
Franco: I almost lost the most important thing that's ever happened to me. I...
[Inhales, exhales deeply] You give me another chance, and let me prove to you that I'm trustworthy, okay? You'll never have to give me another ultimatum. Will you let me prove myself to you?
Franco: You won't regret this. I swear.
Levi: I don't know who you think you're dealing with, mate, but I've been arrested plenty of times...
Kiki: And why doesn't that surprise me?
Levi: ...And all for worthy causes like this. Maxie and I are not afraid of the police.
Morgan: Yeah. What? Of course Maxie's not afraid of the police. Her stepdad was the last police commissioner. Emma's grandma is the current one. But, I mean, what -- what do you think? Because you're connected, the police are just gonna overlook the fact that you're trespassing here with kangaroo ken?
Maxie: I actually hadn't thought that far.
Michael: Maxie. It doesn't have to be this way. Okay, just can you please get him to leave?
Levi: Maxie is as committed to t cause as I am.
Morgan: Dude, what cause are you talking about? It's a house remodel.
Levi: It's a matter of social justice.
Morgan: Yeah, to no one but you. Maxie, come on.
Levi: You're with me, aren't you, max?
Maxie: Yes. I am. I said I would be, and I am. Levi and are staying.
Michael: [Sighs] Okay. Fine. Have it your way. Hi. Yes, I'd like to report trespassers on my property.
Sonny: I'm gonna love coming home from a long day at work, right? Putting my feet up and watching Delia just mother you to death.
Delia: I made some decaf tea for you, Ava.
Ava: Thank you, mother. That was very thoughtful of you.
Sonny: Tea looks amazing.
Delia: Ooh, why don't you join us, Mr. Corinthos?
Sonny: Could you please call me "Sonny"?
Sonny: [Chuckles] All right, well, you know what? There's nothing more that I would love in this whole world than some decaf tea, but I got someplace I got to go, if you know what I'm saying.
Delia: Oh, yeah.
Delia: Coffee importing is a very, uh -- very 24-hour business. "Wink, wink."
Sonny: And I'm sure you guys got to do a lot of catching up, you know, and, you know, I'm sure your mother's gonna, you know, tell you a lot of stories, share things with you and everything.
Delia: Oh, yeah. I got lots to say. I'll see you around.
Sonny: And you know what, Delia? Um...I think I'm really gonna enjoy having you stay here.
Ava: [Inhales sharply] [Exhales sharply] Aah!
Delia: [Chuckles] Wow, I see that second-trimester happy hormones haven't quite kicked in yet.
Ava: No, don't... [Clears throat] ...Worry about us. We're -- we're always like this.
Delia: [With mouth full] Really? I thought maybe you were fighting about little old me.
Ava: [Sighs] No. No, no, no. Sonny has no problem at all with you staying here. Uh, what's going on between us has...absolutely nothing to do with you.
Delia: What the heck are you so mad at each other for?
Ava: He's trying to kill me.
Nina: Oh, you have a good point, Travis.
Nina: If my husband happens by, and you're not expecting him for a visit, I could be... screwed.
Travis: So, maybe we should just drop this charade.
Nina: [Chuckles] Rosalie will be here instead of me.
Rosalie: I will?
Nina: Yes, you will. I'm sorry -- do you have other pressing engagements that are paying you a small fortune?
Rosalie: Well, what am I supposed to say to him if he shows up?
Nina: Well, I don't know. Between you and Travis, you'll think of some believable reason for my absence, right?
Nina: So, what do you say? Do we have a deal?
Travis: Well...I do have student loans. [Chuckles nervously] NYU.
Nina: Yeah. That's the spirit.
Nina: Oh, this is great! This'll be so much fun. We're on the same team. And my husband will be none the wiser.
Travis: I'm getting the impression you don't care much for Dr. Clay.
Nina: Oh, Travis. You have no idea.
Silas: Why don't you go ahead and let yourself into my office? My shift ends in about half an hour. If you don't mind waiting, we'll go to dinner after that.
Rafe: Sounds great.
[Elevator dings, doors open]
Silas: Any luck on the investigation?
Sam: Uh, I wouldn't call it luck, but we have made some progress.
Patrick: Yeah, we have, and it leads straight to you.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Sonny: (to Shawn) As soon as the baby's born, she's done.
Delia: (to Ava) Your baby's father wants to kill you?
Tracy: (on the phone) Michael has absolutely no idea what's coming.
Maxie and Levi chanting in protest (as Michael glares at them): Housing is for the little guy too. Stop the greed of ELQ!
Lulu: (to Olivia and Dante) Can I carry our baby?
Patrick: (to Silas) You son of a--
Sam: Hey, no, no, no!
