Melinda: Listen to you planning a vacation to Paris as if running down my son were nothing...

Alexis: Mrs. Bauer--

Melinda: As if he were some stray dog that you would leave dying on the side of the road.

Alexis: I'm so sorry for your loss.

Melinda: You know what? We begged Kiefer to stay away from you. We warned him that your father was a criminal and he belonged in prison, and...

Alexis: Mrs. Bauer...

Melinda: You were the very last girl he ever should be seen with, but he wouldn't listen. He loved you, and now he's dead because of you.

Alexis: Mrs. Bauer, that's enough.

Melinda: You know what? You guys are quite the team. First you lie about Kiefer beating you up, and then you, you kill him.

Lulu: How long do you have to stay here?

Dante: Well, the judge isn't very happy with me.

Lulu: So the prosecution can force a little kid to testify, but you're not allowed to stop it?

Dante: No, you know what? I'd do it all over again, but unfortunately that judge can run that courtroom however he sees fit. I don't know. Probably for the night or somethin'.

Lulu: I just think it's ridiculous that you're here in a jail cell while Sonny's probably at his restaurant having a nice meal with a glass of wine.

Dante: Well, that's all about to change.

Lulu: We have a right to be upset. I mean, you were just protecting your little brother. Sonny is the one who bludgeoned his wife to death, and you're the one they put in jail? Don't you feel a little betrayed?

Jax: I never intended for Morgan to get involved in this trial.

Carly: You never intended for a child to get hurt?

Jax: That's right.

Carly: Then that makes you a hypocrite, 'cause Sonny's been sayin' that for years.

Claire: I'm prepared to plead you down to involuntary manslaughter if you plead guilty to 5 counts of RICO violations. RICO has mandatory prison time, as you must know. You'd be looking at 10 years with a possible parole of 5. You'd be out from under those Claudia Corinthos charges, and none of your children would ever have to testify.

Kristina: I loved Kiefer.

Alexis: Oh--

Kristina: I didn't want him to get hurt.

Alexis: No. No.

Kristina: He felt terrible about hitting me, and that's why I didn't tell anyone!

Alexis: No.

Melinda: You didn't tell anyone, because it never happened.

Alexis: We're not having this conversation right now.

Melinda: Okay, and why aren't you in jail?

Alexis: It was an accident.

Melinda: Oh, that's right. That's what your boyfriend, the police commissioner told me.

Alexis: He's my friend.

Melinda: Anyone else who had ran over a teenage boy, fled the scene, failed to dial 911-- you haven't even been charged with anything.

Alexis: Mrs. Bauer, I'm sure that I will be. In the meantime, I can assure you I'm not going anywhere.

Melinda: Well, I just heard you planning a trip out of the country. My son is not even in the ground yet. You will not get away with this.

Alexis: It was an accident.

Melinda: Oh, that's right.

Alexis: It was an accident because I was driving my daughter to the hospital...

Melinda: And you accidentally ran over my son.

Alexis: After your son beat her for the second time.

Melinda: And then you accidentally failed to dial 911, and then you accidentally stood around here in the hospital...

Alexis: You are upsetting--

Melinda: Full well knowing that Kiefer was out there in the cold dying. You watched how Kiefer suffered and died in the emergency room.

Alexis: Mrs. Bauer, you can be as upset with me as you want, and I don't blame you.

Melinda: Listen to me. Kiefer would be alive if your mother had just called for an ambulance.

Alexis: Maya! Can somebody please come in here?!

Melinda: Listen, how could you even do this to my son? Even if he hurt your daughter, which he did not, he liked you.

Alexis: Maya!

Melinda: He admired you, and he genuinely loved your daughter, even though we did our best to dissuade him.

Alexis: Maya! Can somebody please help?!

Melinda: None of this would have happened if you had just left our son alone.

Maya: Hey. Hey, whatever's going on here, it's over.

Melinda: You killed my son deliberately and with malice.

Alexis: Shh.

Melinda: You will be held accountable.

Alexis: Maya, please get her out.

[Kristina sobbing]

Dante: You know, being here in this cell reminds me of why I wanted to be a cop in the first place. The law's not perfect, but it's the best system we got. Sure beats the alternative. And what do you expect the judge to do? He just can't have people storming his courtroom.

Lulu: Well, he should have never let Morgan testify.

Dante: I wish that kid never saw me get taken away in cuffs. Just gotta tell him one day that--you know, when this is all over, that the law is something good. You know, maybe he can grow up and be a judge or lawyer and make the system better than it is now.

Lulu: You're amazing. Heh.

Dante: I know what it's like to grow up without a father. And the way this trial's goin', Morgan's gonna lose his, and that's gonna be my responsibility. I gotta-- I don't know--help him, be a big brother.

Lulu: He's lucky to have you.

Carly: You're becoming more like Sonny every day.

Jax: Ha ha ha.

Carly: I mean, you are. You want something, and you go after it, no matter who gets hurt.

Jax: Right.

Carly: And you're always right, and everybody else, especially me, is always wrong.

Jax: Of course.

Carly: You're working the system, Jax, just like Sonny, and my kids are getting hurt. Morgan blames himself for sending Dante to prison, and he keeps reassuring me and Jason that he's never gonna tell anybody the truth about Michael. He shouldn't have to reassure me about anything. It's my job to reassure him. And if Sonny gets convicted, Morgan's gonna blame himself, and that is 100% your fault.

Jax: All right, all right. All right, Claire crossed the line today. I'm gonna have her taken off the case.

Carly: She's not going anywhere, Jax! Claire smells a win. So does her boss, and let's be honest. So do you.

Jax: I never thought that she would pull a stunt like this.

Carly: At least Sonny and Jason own what they do. You, man, you're always so surprised.

Jax: You know what? I am trying to save my family, and you just refuse to see that.

Carly: My family and I have had just about enough saving from you that we can stand. Michael is in hiding because of you. You're responsible for Morgan being traumatized in court today. And Josslyn, let's talk about her. She's gonna grow up without her parents living underneath the same roof at a time when she needs us the most, but you know what? You wanna destroy Sonny, so good for you. And you just may do it. You just may do it. But you also may destroy the people you claim to love.

Claire: The murder charges would go away. You'd serve 5 years, give or take, and you'd be out in time for Morgan's high school graduation.

Sonny: Don't say Morgan's name to me after what you did to him in court.

Claire: Do you want the deal or not?

Sonny: I know what's goin' on. Jax threatened to pull you off the case because you crossed the line with Morgan. Now you're comin' to come in here, get any kind of deal you can so you don't have a loss on your record.

Claire: I never wanted to drag young children into this.

Sonny: But you did because you're so desperate to win. If you had any children of your own, Ms. Walsh, you would understand what you did today. You caused a lot of pain to a little boy, all because you wanted to win.

Claire: I would prefer not to use your children, but if I have to, I will. So what's it gonna be? Deal or no deal?

Lulu: So what else did you and Sonny talk about?

Dante: Oh, you mean did we have some kind of father-son bonding moment through the cell bars?

Lulu: He made you an offer, didn't he? He wanted you to stop being a cop and work for him.

Dante: Wow. You're beautiful, and you're smart.

[Lulu scoffs]

Lulu: I've watched Sonny operate for many years.

Dante: You know, Carly asked me the same thing. After I got shot, she wanted me to get up on the stand and falsify my evidence, basically throw away my entire career.

Lulu: Well, that's different.

Dante: Oh, it's different, is it? Why? Because she's your cousin?

Lulu: No.

Dante: Or is she your aunt?

Lulu: I would like her just the same, even if we weren't related, but, you know, she was trying to protect her kids.

Dante: Can't blame her for that. How 'bout you? What would you do if I took Sonny's offer, if I did what Carly said and threw my career away? Would you still love me?

Lulu: That was a trick question, because you would never work for Sonny, but if you decided you didn't wanna be a cop and you wanted to be a plumber, I would love you just the same.

Dante: You know, you'd probably love me more. Plumbers make a lot of money. But I'm a cop. It's all I really wanted to be once I found out that not everyone gets to play for the Yankees. But I knew I'd never be in the mob. I knew I'd love my family, love my kids too much for that.

Carly: See, in your mind, you never do anything wrong. It's okay for you to lie and put your family in danger. It's okay for you to use my kids against their father.

Jax: You really wanna have this fight again?

Carly: No, I don't.

Jax: Since Josslyn was born, I understand what it really means to be a father.

Carly: Which makes what you're doin' to my kids even worse, Jax.

Jax: They're my kids, too.

Carly: But you just said it's different with Josslyn.

Jax: That doesn't mean I don't love them.

Carly: But you don't love them like you love your daughter.

Jax: Ohh! You know, no matter how angry you are with me, you know that I love you and that I love Morgan and Michael, too.

Carly: And Michael, too. He's always an afterthought, isn't he?

[Jax sighs]

Jax: I just can't win, can I?

Carly: Can't win. Why should you? Why should you? You demand loyalty from me, but you don't give it. You demand honesty from me, but you lie to me all the time. You want me to be open and honest and confide in you, but you only tell me what you want me to hear.

Jax: You're not gonna believe anything I say.

Carly: Why should I? Tell me, why?

Jax: Why should you?

Carly: You don't respect me, you don't trust me, and you lie to me, hell, anytime you want. We're fallin' apart. And every time you hurt my kids, I love you a little less. And this dream, this dream that we have of having this great, wonderful family for the rest of our lives, it's fading, Jax.

Jason: Sonny won't be making any deals without Diane.

Claire: You don't need her. My offer is simple. It benefits both sides. That's why I came directly to you.

Sonny: You came directly to me because you can't beat Diane. You've been over your head from the start. That's your problem. You understand me?

Claire: My offer stands until court convenes tomorrow. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to recall Morgan to the stand.

Sonny: Really?

Claire: Yeah.

Sonny: Yeah? You may be off the case by tomorrow.

Claire: You know what? Who knows? I think I'm gonna have to call Kristina, too. Yeah. You know, I think there's a lot of relevant things that I can ask her, like your attitude towards Claudia. Right? Did Kristina ever hear you make any threats or act in a hostile manner?

Sonny: Yeah, you say-- let me tell you something.

Claire: You get the idea?

Sonny: Listen to me. You say things, right? But you don't understand what you're gettin' yourself into.

Claire: I have to do what it takes to win, and it's a necessary evil, because you need to be stopped. And as for children, personally I don't wanna bring up children that I'm not prepared for, and obviously you don't believe that. But if you wanna think you're a good father, then why don't you consider this deal? Because it's gonna give you a great opportunity to protect your children.

Jason: I'm calling Diane.

Sonny: No, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. This is--

Jason: Sonny.

Sonny: Look, I wanna see my son, and then I'll decide what to do.

Dante: Was your father ever king for a day? He must have been to make a princess like you. Were you arrested tonight? Because it's gotta be illegal to look that good. Hey, what does it feel like to be the most beautiful girl in the room?

Lulu: I'm the only girl in the room.

Dante: You're so hot, I think you caused, like, all of global warming.

[Lulu laughs]

Lulu: Will you stop? Please?

Dante: You make me melt like the hot fudge on a sundae. Hey, someone call the cops! This chick just stole my heart!

Lulu: Oh, my God. That's enough. That's enough, really.

Dante: What happened to you before? You were all quiet. Was it because I was talkin' about family and kids and stuff like that?

Lulu: Kinda.

Dante: Well, I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's not lookin' too good for us makin' babies. Heh heh.

Lulu: I know.

Dante: I mean, I don't want kids, like, right now. I mean, I do want kids one day hypothetically. I don't know when that'll be.

Lulu: You know, can we just maybe just drop the subject?

Dante: Sure.

Lulu: Okay.

Olivia: I cannot believe this. I have 3 calls in to that stupid judge's office, and no one'll even talk to me about bail, but I'm not givin' up, okay? Nobody puts my baby behind bars.

Dante: Okay, ma, take it easy.

Olivia: Did you hear what he did? Did you hear what he did in court today, standin' up for his baby brother like that? I am so proud of you.

Lulu: Me, too.

Olivia: Okay, so I figured you'd be in here for at least tonight. I brought you a meatball sandwich and a change of socks and some clean underwear.

Dante: How did you get these past the guards?

Olivia: Well, they inspected those bags just like everybody else's.

Dante: Ma, I gotta work here with these guys. You show them my underwear?

Olivia: So they'll know that you're workin' in clean underwear. Like Aunt Theresa always used to say, "clean kids, clean house, clean underwear," not that she thought I could actually do it. She was the first one--that's my mother's sister--the first one to stick her finger in my face and tell me that I couldn't do it, that 15 years old was too young to raise a kid and that I didn't have a chance. Oh, and that I was a disgrace to all Falconeris and Garibaldis everywhere. Please. [Chuckles] Like there weren't plenty of speedy marriages and "premature" 10-pound babies on her side of the family. But she never got sick of tellin' me that I should give up my baby and go live my life. And just look at how wrong she was. You are the best thing that ever happened to me, and you'll always be my baby. Give me a hug.

Jax: I want Claire Walsh pulled off the case. No, it's not too late. I expect a call back from him within the hour.

Alexis: Here's the ruthless friend that I know and love.

Jax: Well, at least someone appreciates it. The more I try to contain this trial, the more it seems to spin out of control.

Alexis: I know the feeling.

Jax: How's Kristina?

Alexis: In the hospital blaming herself for everything that happened to her, and she had her first session with a shrink today, and I imagine she'll probably be seein' the shrink for the rest of her life.

Jax: This must be really hard for you.

Alexis: It's really hard for Kiefer's parents, who are taking out their grief on Kristina, and they can't do that anymore, so I came here to ask do you think you could get them to keep away from her.

Jax: Yeah. I'll call Warren. I have to express my condolences anyway. You know, Warren and Melinda seem like reasonable people. Why do you think they're targeting Kristina? You think it's because she told about Kiefer beating her up?

Alexis: Oh, I think it's a lot more complicated than that. I gotta sit down. I was the hit-and-run driver that killed Kiefer.

[Door opens]

Jason: What's wrong? Is Morgan okay?

Carly: Jax. We just had a really big fight, and we are getting further and further apart, Jason.

Jason: I know that this is a difficult time for you, but, please, you need to stay focused on this trial.

Carly: Okay. I know. I know all I have to do is lie, and I should be really good at that. My instincts are off. Jax lied to me for months, and I didn't even know about it. And I don't know what Claire Walsh is gonna pull. Why aren't we a few steps ahead of her? We've been playing catch-up since the arraignment.

Jason: Let me tell you something. You're a lot tougher than Claire Walsh.

Carly: She's a federal prosecutor. I'm sure she's dealt with liars and false statements a hundred times in her career. What if I slip up? My family is counting on me. What if I fail?

Sonny: Is your mom here?

Morgan: Mm-mmm. She's out doing an errand. I'm supposed to be doing my homework and getting back to normal, whatever that's supposed to mean. Can we go see Dante?

Sonny: I don't want you seeing your brother behind bars.

Morgan: But I'm the reason he's there.

Sonny: No, you're not the reason he's there. The reason he's there is because he didn't follow the rules of the court. That's why they call it contempt of court.

Morgan: But it's my fault.

Sonny: You should have never been put on that stand in the first place. Okay?

Morgan: Ronnie said that if I said something wrong, Dante would lose his badge.

Sonny: Okay, Ronnie is lying to you.

Morgan: I would have never said anything to hurt Michael.

Sonny: I don't want you worrying about this. Okay?

Morgan: Wasn't it cool that Dante rushed in, said the prosecutor and the judge were out of order? And when he ran in, he had his badge up in the air.

Sonny: Yeah. Proud of both of you. Sit down.

Morgan: Do you think we'll ever really go to the new Yankee stadium, you, me, Michael, and Dante?

Sonny: I hope so.

Morgan: You know, have soda, eat hot dogs. Maybe I'd take my glove and catch a foul ball.

Sonny: Yeah. Yeah. I like that.

Morgan: Do I have to go back to court? I don't want to. I'm scared I'll say something wrong.

Sonny: You know what? I don't want you to go back either, so you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna figure out a way to get you out of that, okay?

Jax: Who knows about this?

Alexis: Mac. I went over there, and I made a full confession.

Jax: Was Diane with you?

Alexis: No. She's got her hands full right now. He charged me with leaving the scene, and then he released me, and I have no idea what's gonna happen next, but I need to just focus on Kristina right now. And I understand why the Bauers want justice, but they need to stay away from Kristina, okay? If they want me, they can come after me...

Jax: Okay.

Alexis: But they need to leave my daughter alone.

Jax: I'll reach out to Warren, see if we can find a way to deal with this without anyone else getting hurt, okay?

Alexis: Okay.

Maya: Hey. Nabbed you the last Chinese chicken salad.

Kristina: Thanks.

Maya: I'll admit it doesn't look too promising.

Kristina: Doctors aren't supposed to be delivering food, are they?

Maya: Well, I'm an intern, and Epiphany asked me to come check on you.

Kristina: Everybody obeys Epiphany.

Maya: Everybody who isn't stupid. So how you doing?

Kristina: I keep thinking about how Kiefer died in this building, under this roof.

Maya: You want me to have someone come sit with you?

Kristina: It's nice to have some alone time. So many people have been trying to help me, but it's like the more they help, the worse I feel. Do you think that salad is edible?

Maya: Heh. Well, that depends on how committed you are to salad. I could always go and nab you some ice cream.

Man on PA: Nurse Epiphany Johnson, call 220.

Kristina: Go away.

Maya: You need to leave.

Ethan: I will. I just wanna apologize first. I'm sorry I yelled at you before. Yeah, I shouldn't have done that. You're a kid. You know, I'm supposed to be a grown-up, so I need to start acting like one. And I'm sorry for everything that's happened to you, and I'm sorry for anything I did to make it worse.

Olivia: So I imagine you're gonna be in here for at least the night, huh?

Dante: It's worth it if I got Morgan off the stand, Ma. I mean, seeing him like that, I mean, it's just another example of how easy I had it growin' up away from Sonny.

Olivia: Well, I'll never get sick of hearing you say that.

Lulu: Olivia, I was really rude to you the night that he got shot, and at the time, all I could see were the lies, but I'm starting to understand how amazing you really are.

Olivia: I knew I liked this girl for a reason, right?

Lulu: I mean, keeping your baby and raising him on your own, most 15-year-olds couldn't do that.

Olivia: Well, you know, I had a lot of help from my family once they got over the initial shock. It definitely took a village, but I always knew that the final responsibility was mine. And look at this guy. Heh. The greatest work I'll ever do.

Dante: Okay. That's enough, Ma.

Lulu: Actually, speaking of, I can't even believe how late it is. Kate has me working a ton because Coleman's on jury duty, so I'll see you.

Jason: You are not gonna fail. When your kids need you, Carly, you always step up.

Carly: Jax hates Sonny so much, and it's costing our marriage. We should be happy right now. We worked so hard to have that. But the whole time, Jax was working against me, the whole time lying to me.

Jason: You know, with everything that's goin' on with the trial and everything's that's goin' on with Michael, it's pretty easy to forget that you actually had a baby the night Claudia died. I mean, I even hate to think of you in the car with Claudia, knowing that she could have hurt you at any second, but you were brave enough to wreck that car. You walked through the woods in a storm, and you found a cabin. I mean, Carly, you're so tough, you made havin' Josslyn look easy.

Carly: Well, wow. I guess if I can do all that, I can convince the jury that, you know, Sonny killed Claudia in self-defense and he did it to protect me. Okay. I just--something's different this time. I don't know. When Michael was in that coma, I knew he was gonna wake up. I don't know how to explain it. I don't know why, but I just knew he was gonna wake up, and I'm not feeling it this time. I'm not. That core feeling I get when I know that everything is gonna be okay, Jason, it's not there. And I wanna believe that I can do this. I do.

Jason: No, I know that you can do this. You just gotta get up on that stand and say that Sonny killed Claudia. That's it. I mean, make the jury believe it, because in a way, it's true, because Sonny would have done the exact same thing that Michael did. We're just switchin' the names.

Carly: That's something I would say.

Jason: Well, for all the years that you believed in me, I'm believing in you.

Man on PA: Dr. Henry, call radiology. Dr. Henry, call radiology.

Ethan: So how do you think Kristina's doing?

Maya: I think your apology helped.

Ethan: I hope so.

Maya: The bad boy with the heart of gold. Been there.

Ethan: It was just a thought.

Maya: Hey, hold on. If there's anything you can do for Kristina, I'll let you know.

Woman: Maya.

Kristina: Mr. Bauer.

Warren: Kiefer and I were planning a trip to Cambridge in the spring, do an insider's tour of Harvard. We were going to look into the dining clubs, watch the spring regatta. After that, we were gonna take a train down to Manhattan. I had reservations at the Harvard club. Kiefer really wanted me to show him around. But now, well, you know, I'm making funeral arrangements.

Kristina: I'm so sorry.

Warren: You were a disaster for Kiefer, weren't you? From the day that your insane brother attacked him at the club and your father showed up with his henchmen, I warned him. I warned him that you were nothing but trouble, and I told him to stay away from you. But he wouldn't listen, because he loved you. He loved you, and now he's dead. He's dead because you lied. You told people that he was beating you when he wasn't. And then your mother, your mother runs him down with her car.

Kristina: It was an accident.

Warren: Kiefer's left leg was shattered.

[Kristina sobbing]

Warren: His hips were broken, and he had to lie there. He had to lie there in unspeakable pain, bleeding internally, alone, Kristina, alone in the dark, dying.

Kristina: I didn't know.

Warren: His spleen ruptured before they could get him into emergency surgery. Kiefer would still be alive if he had gotten to this hospital on time, if only your mother would have called for help. But it started with you. You are the reason that Kiefer is dead. Kiefer is dead because of you.

Carly: Hi.

Lulu: Hi. How's Morgan?

Carly: He's at karate. I'm trying to keep his life as normal as possible.

Lulu: You should tell him that Dante's okay.

Carly: You know, I really hate that Dante lied to my kids for months, but it was pretty great how he stood up for Morgan in court today.

Lulu: Yeah. Yeah, he's great with kids, and he's gonna make a wonderful father someday.

[Footsteps]

Claire: So was it worth it?

Dante: Sandwich is great.

Claire: No, playing the hero for Morgan, defying a judge, disrupting a trial.

Dante: You blew it, Claire. You puttin' Morgan up there, I mean, that was goin' too far. Even the judge thinks so. Now the jury thinks you're vindictive, a hard-ass, maybe even a little bit of a bully.

Claire: I needed an I.D. on the car.

Dante: There's a lot of other ways you can get an I.D. on a car. You didn't need to bring a 12-year-old kid in to try to trick him into testifying against his father.

Claire: No, I did it to get to Sonny, and I did.

Jason: So, Morgan, is he all right?

Sonny: Morgan still wants to go to the Yankee game with me, Michael, and Dante. I promised him that game all winter. Morgan, he needs to be a kid. Michael needs to come home. They've both suffered too much, and the only way for me to save them, I gotta take the deal. We're talkin' 10 years, you know, on RICO. The murder charges go away. 5 years in prison. It's not that big a deal.

Jason: Sonny, you're not gonna survive a year in prison, not just because of the claustrophobia. You got too many enemies.

Sonny: I can work from the inside.

Jason: Claire should have brought the deal to Diane, not us! The judge should have been involved in this whole thing. We don't even know if that offer is real at this point. She broke all kind of rules. I mean, that could buy us a mistrial.

Sonny: I don't want a mistrial. I want this to be done with, and I don't see any other options.

[Jason sighs]

Jason: This could work.

Sonny: What?

Jason: You don't take Claire's deal. I will.

Kristina: I loved Kiefer. That's why I said Ethan beat me up the first time, because I didn't want to cause any trouble. I thought it would all go away once I dropped the charges, but then Kiefer wanted me to reinstate them, and I couldn't do that. Ethan is innocent. Then Kiefer said that I was ruining his life, and he hit me, and he wouldn't stop.

Warren: Well, at least part of what you're saying is true. You were ruining Kiefer's life. But now you are trying to defile his memory.

Kristina: Kiefer did hit me. He hit me a lot.

Warren: Did you tell anyone that before?

Kristina: No. He always apologized.

Warren: Did you report it to the police?

Kristina: I didn't wanna get him in trouble.

Warren: Did you tell your parents?

Kristina: No.

Warren: No. No, you didn't, because it didn't happen, okay? Here's what happened. Your mother ran down Kiefer with her car, and then she left him there. She drove away. She came here to this hospital, stood around for hours knowing that he was out there, knowing that he desperately needed help.

Jax: Warren, this is not okay.

Alexis: What is going on here?

Warren: You, you killed my son. Your life as you know it is over.

Jax: All right, come on. Let's go. Come on. Warren, you're grieving. You should go home.

Warren: Kiefer was dying when we were at the Metro Court. While we were having drinks, discussing the California deal, Kiefer was alone, in the dark, bleeding to death. He couldn't walk. He couldn't get help. He was probably terrified.

Jax: I'm very sorry.

Warren: We warned him to stay away from that girl. She's a liar. We heard rumors that the mother was unstable, but I never thought...

Jax: Kristina's not responsible here.

Warren: Well, then who is? Who the hell is?

Kristina: Are you going on trial? Can they put you in prison?

Alexis: It will be all right, okay? Yeah.

Carly: I'm guessing that Dante doesn't know about your abortion.

Lulu: And it never occurred to me that he would care.

Carly: Maybe he won't care.

Lulu: No, I am so scared to tell him, because I am sure that he is gonna care. He is extremely Catholic. His mom says that having him was the best decision that she ever made.

Carly: Okay. That was her. That doesn't mean Dante's gonna judge you.

Lulu: No. At some point, I'm gonna have to tell him, and it's gonna change the way that he feels about me. He's not gonna see me the way that he sees me now.

Claire: I offered Sonny a deal, involuntary manslaughter and 5 counts of RICO in return for 10 years, and he'll be up for parole in 5. Not that he'll ever make parole.

Dante: This wasn't about cutting a deal. Sonny killed Claudia. He was supposed to get life.

Claire: You know, Detective, I thought you'd be glad. We're about to win.

Dante: This isn't a win. I don't want him out in 10 years.

Claire: It's a good deal.

Dante: You used this kid. You used this kid against his own father.

Claire: Yeah, you're absolutely right. I used Morgan for leverage to secure a deal that would work for all for us.

Sonny: There's no way I'm gonna let you go to prison for me.

Jason: Sonny, it's not for you. It's for Michael.

Sonny: He'd feel just as guilty.

Jason: It's 10 years. I'm out in 5. I can deal with prison. Michael knows that.

Sonny: Well, what about Morgan? He's gonna feel like he messed up and you're payin' for it.

Jason: No, Morgan, I'm just gonna explain to him that it's part of my job to take the fall. I take the risks. I agreed to it, and I'm gonna take the consequences with it, but I'm not leavin' any kids behind. Jake, but he doesn't even know I'm his father.

Sonny: I cannot let you do this. And Carly's not gonna go for it. She'd rather me go to prison than you.

Jason: You're right. Carly's gonna fight, she's gonna yell, and she's gonna hate it, but I think in the end, she'll agree to it because it's for Michael. It's for Morgan. You're their father, and they need you.

Sonny: Claire Walsh wants me, not you.

Jason: Claire Walsh is desperate, or she would have never offered a deal in the first place. I'm a win for Claire. If she takes me down, she's gonna look pretty good in Washington.

Sonny: I can't believe we're acting like Carly's gonna go for it when she's not. She'd rather confess than see you do this, and then she's gonna bury me alive.

Jason: Carly's as stressed as I've ever seen her, and that's sayin' a lot, because she thinks her testimony is not enough to save you. This way, she doesn't even have to get on the stand. It's the right thing to do, Sonny, for all of us.
