Jason: Sam, um, Spinelli said that you wanted to see me tonight, and I appreciate you thinking about me, because I'm thinking about you, too. And I wish I could see you instead of sending you flow-- well, now you know that I'm sending you flowers. I haven't made any progress on Franco yet, so I'll just check in with you later, okay? What?

Spinelli: I just think you've made a grave error in judgment.

[Jason scoffs]

[Knock on door]

Delivery man: Flowers for Ms. McCall.

Franco: Oh, she's tied up right now. I'll take 'em.

Delivery man: Okay. Sign here.

Franco: Yes. Um...[Chuckles] Ah. Sorry. I'll get you next time. [Sniffs]

Lulu: Okay, a limo ride through Manhattan works for me. I have to say, so far I have no complaints about this night.

Dominic: Yeah, I'm sorry about the train thing. I wanted to get us a flight, but, uh, you know, things like rent sometimes get in the way of my flashy plans.

Lulu: That's okay. I like trains. I always have. I just have never been so glammed up on one before.

Dominic: You look beautiful. Definitely the hottest passenger I've ever seen. I think those two guys behind us would agree.

Lulu: Hmm. Yeah, good thing I'm with a cop. So are you still not going to tell me where we're going?

Dominic: Well, A., That would ruin the surprise, and B., if you really think about it, you should probably be able to figure it out.

Lulu: I don't know! I don't remember anything. Okay, so I'm going to have to keep guessing.

Dominic: Yes.

Lulu: Um, are you taking me to the policeman's ball?

[Both laugh]

Dominic: I'll give you a clue, okay? I'm following through on a promise I made to you. In the basement when we were freezing and drowning.

Lulu: Okay, no, now you're just making me think of cold thoughts. Just spit it out!

Dominic: Okay, fine. We...are going to the opera.

Michael: Is there a problem, sir?

Police Officer: I need to see your license and registration, please.

Michael: What's this about? I wasn't speeding.

Police Officer: Well, Mr. Corinthos, I've been following your car for the past few miles, and you were driving erratically. Have you been drinking tonight?

[Michael sighs]

[Sonny sighs]

Lisa: Was that really necessary?

Olivia: Oh, he was just trying to push my buttons anyway. And it worked. You happy now?

Sonny: Yeah, I'm very happy. Thank you.

Olivia: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: Hey, Johnny. Just in time.

[Olivia sighs]

Michael: I still don't get what the problem is.

Police Officer: Well, for one thing, Mr. Corinthos, you're underage. And as I stated, you were driving erratically. I'm going to have to ask you to take a Breathalyzer test.

Michael: And what if I say no?

Police Officer: Well, under New York's zero tolerance law, that would be an automatic suspension of your license for one year, because you're under 21. And there'd be several fines. And I'd have to take you downtown.

Michael: Is this a slow night or something? You trying to make that quota for a trip to Hawaii?

Police Officer: Okay, sir. I need you to turn around and put your hands behind your back.

Lucky: I'll take this.

Police Officer: Detective Spencer.

Lucky: Yeah.

Police Officer: Got a suspected dui here.

Lucky: Oh. Hey, Brad, good to see you. Actually, Mr. Corinthos is a person of interest in an investigation I'm working on. Why don't you let me handle this one?

Police Officer: Let me know if you need anything for the report. Have a good night.

Lucky: Thank you. You okay?

Michael: Yeah, I'm great. Your buddy just made up some garbage about me driving erratically or whatever.

Lucky: No, Brad's a good cop. He wouldn't have pulled you over unless he had a good reason. So how much did you drink tonight, Michael?

Michael: I didn't, okay? Look, I appreciate you helping me out, but I know why you did it. And it doesn't change anything. I still don't know anything about Claudia.

Lucky: Why don't we just forget about Claudia for a second, then, okay? Let's talk about the real problem.

Michael: What's that?

Lucky: Your father.

Sonny: What are you doing here, Johnny? I don't remember needing you for anything.

Johnny: Yeah, I'm actually here to meet Olivia.

Sonny: Out of all the restaurants in town and you chose this one. That's interesting.

Lisa: I think it's pretty obvious she was hoping you'd be here so you could see her with this guy and she could make you jealous.

Olivia: Um, I think that you would be really smart to keep yourself out of this, honey.

Sonny: I'm sorry for my friend Olivia. She has a bit of a temper. As a matter of fact, I think she's naturally hot-blooded.

Johnny: Are you done?

Olivia: I am. I'm done. Let's go.

Sonny: You guys, hey, stay, 'cause there's a special on the Bolognese tonight. I'll give it to you half-off, if you want. Maybe I'll get free, if you want, too.

[Door closes]

Sonny: Or not. Okay.

Lisa: I think I should probably feel a little used, but that was kind of fun.

Dominic: What's the deal? You got some problem with the opera?

Lulu: No!

Dominic: Oh, okay.

Lulu: The opera's great! Are you messing with me?

Dominic: No! I actually happen to love the opera, and you said you've never been before, right? You're guaranteed to love it.

Lulu: Didn't you say your great aunt used to have to drag you to the opera?

Dominic: Yeah, she did, once. That's all it took. I've been hooked ever since. The music's amazing! It's really passionate. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Lulu: Wow. So an undercover cop is excited about the opera. That's, um, different.

Dominic: Well, what can I say? I'm a man of many colors and tastes and some are more refined than others. We got really good tickets! You'll like it, I promise. It's Puccini.

Lulu: So he's one of the Three Tenors guys, right?

Dominic: What? No.

Lulu: No?

Dominic: That's Pavarotti.

Lulu: I don't know!

Dominic: He's dead. He's not with us anymore. I mean, Puccini isn't with us anymore, either, but he's been gone for a long time. They're the masters. You've heard of "La Bohème," right? "Madame Butterfly?"

Lulu: Oh, I'm sorry, I don't--I just don't see how people get excited about someone singing in another language that they can't even understand, very loudly.

Dominic: Okay, well, they have this thing, it's called a teleprompter. And it'll translate all the language for you. But I'm telling you, you will not need it. The emotions transcend language. It's amazing. This soprano's going to break your heart.

Lulu: Are you sure you don't want to, like, go get drinks at, like, Butter or something? I could call and drop "Crimson's" name, get us on the list, it'll be fun!

Dominic: Are you kidding me? The club scene has got nothing on this stuff. And, well, it's too late now, anyway, because here we are.

Lulu: Oh.

Dominic: Come on, pretty. Give me two acts. If you hate it and you want to run, I'll be right there behind you.

[Lulu laughs]

Alexis: You girls, you just can't keep popping in at Sam's house every time you feel like it, because she has a life.

Kristina: If I would have asked you, you just would have said no.

Alexis: Not necessarily. However, this time I would have.

Molly: Because Jason's a tragic hero whose life invites unexpected danger.

Alexis: Yeah. Well, that, too. But what I want to talk to you about is how I didn't appreciate the two of you conspiring to try to throw me and Mac together.

Molly: But you belong together, Mom.

Kristina: Just give it a chance.

Alexis: Girls, I'm sorry, but this is not going to happen.

Kristina: So you're saying that you haven't had a good time with Mac, like, every time you guys have hung out so far?

Alexis: And I never said that.

Molly: You don't think Mac is handsome?

Alexis: I think Mac is a very nice-looking guy, but--

Molly: So you admit there's an attraction?

Alexis: Not that kind, Molly.

Kristina: We asked Sam what she thought, and she agreed with us.

Alexis: You could have asked Sam anything and she would have told anything you wanted, because she wanted you out of the house because she obviously had plans with Jason.

Molly: Which, if you think about it, is actually a very textbook example of romantic symmetry. Sam and Jason lost each other, found each other again, and they're now more in love than ever.

Alexis: Really? What textbooks are you reading now, my love? That jacket is not going to be warm enough.

Molly: Oh, okay.

Kristina: Sam's a lot happier now.

Molly: Yeah, Mom. Why wouldn't you want something like that for yourself?

Alexis: Oh, my God!

Jason: Okay, I need you to cross-reference a list of places Franco's been while he's been in Port--what?

Spinelli: Stone Cold, if I may, I know I previously stated this, but I really think you need to reconsider my suggestion that you made a grave error in refusing fair Samantha's--

Jason: Okay, you know what, I don't have time for relationship advice right now, Spinelli.

Spinelli: My own trials and tribulations with Maximista have given me insight into your relationship with fair Samantha, especially as it relates to the darkly focused one.

Jason: Fine, what?

Spinelli: Okay, Franco is a formidable adversary, and he has a distinct advantage over you.

Jason: Yeah, I'm aware of that, thank you very much.

Spinelli: I think his advantage lies in the fact that he is not hindered by fear for loved ones.

Jason: And that he's been planning this for months.

Spinelli: Yeah, indeed he has. And it has become rather obvious that his gamesmanship has affected Stone Cold's actions, and his...moods?

Jason: What are you trying to say right now, that I'm stressed out? I am stressed out, because I'm dealing with a lunatic, and if there's forensic evidence on Claudia's body, Michael could go to prison!

Spinelli: I'm not trying to discount the troubling nature of the threat that Franco poses. I--I just think that if Stone Cold truly does wish to triumph, he also has to utilize his various resources, like the Jackal's cyber skills, and utilizing his beloved fair Samantha's offer for him to relax with her.

Jason: You think Franco's just taking a night off?

Spinelli: I think it was Da Vinci who touted the necessity of relaxation for when you return to work, your judgment will be sure.

Jason: [Sighs] And there's a part of me that feels I should be with Sam tonight.

Spinelli: I think you should trust your keen instincts. What are they telling you?

Jason: That's the problem. I don't know anymore.

Michael: Look, just because you turned your back on your father doesn't mean I'm going to do the same thing.

Lucky: Actually, if you think about it, you already have, in a way. Just like you've turned on yourself.

Michael: That's a bunch of crap. I thought you were a cop, not Dr. Phil.

Lucky: I'm trying to help you, Michael. I've been through some similar stuff, okay? Every family has its secrets. Some, a lot worse than others, but every family's got 'em. And every parent tries to protect their kid from finding out those secrets. They only want their children to see the best face that they have. And then one day, you find out that the one thing... that you were never supposed to know about, and it changes the way you see your parents forever.

Michael: I don't have a problem with my parents. We're fine.

Lucky: I don't think you believe that any more than I do. Look, man. I thought I knew my dad. I mean, I idolized him. There was nothing that Luke Spencer couldn't do. No situation that he couldn't handle. But that all changed for me when I finally saw him for who he really was.

Michael: Look, I appreciate that you're trying to help me out. But I'm telling you, I'm fine. Everything is fine.

Lucky: Michael, I don't think it is. Otherwise, you wouldn't be drinking and driving and basically begging to get caught. I know how that feels. And when I lost faith in my dad, I told myself I was just being rebellious or whatever, but the truth is, I was trying to hurt him. And I knew how much he loved me. So the best way to hurt him was to hurt myself. And it's pretty obvious to me that you're doing the exact same thing right now.

[Johnny sighs]

Olivia: Okay, are we going to talk about this, or are you just going to get wasted? You know what, if you're pissed off, won't let me explain, then I can just leave.

Johnny: You might as well just do that. Because nothing you're going to say right now is going to change the way I'm feeling, anyway.

Olivia: You know what; I wasn't expecting to run into Sonny at the restaurant tonight, okay? I went there because that's where we planned to meet. Sonny was there, he started pushing my buttons. And it worked, all right, because he's good at it.

Johnny: Yeah.

Olivia: I lost my cool, and it all went downhill from there. What happened to your hand?

Johnny: I--

Olivia: What is that? Let me see, what happened to you?

Johnny: I found out who killed my sister tonight. I finally know the truth. Now I'm thinking it puts me in a pretty interesting position, considering your son's a cop.

Michael: Why do you keep trying to compare us? You and I are nothing alike. My dad's nothing like your dad.

Lucky: They're more similar than you might think, Michael. There's a lot of good in both of them. Enough to make you want to ignore what they're trying to hide. Look, I never used to question what my dad did. Anybody we swindled was just another sucker who deserved it. My dad had an answer for everything. I mean, he could easily handle any situation we were up against. And I know that you've grown up watching your dad run his organization. But the problem is you don't really know how Sonny got that power or what he does to keep it.

Michael: That's where you're wrong. I know everything about my dad and his business. I got shot in the head by someone who was trying to take him out, remember?

Lucky: Right. And Sonny loves you too much for you to ever consider blaming him for letting you get shot. Or getting angry with him for the year that you lost. Instead, you just find other ways to get back at him. Like tonight. It's pretty obvious to me that you've been drinking, Michael. I can smell it from here. Anybody could. You're pushing the limits. And you want Sonny to know about it, because you want him to feel guilty.

Michael: So are we done now? You want me to give you some money for the shrink session, or are you going to arrest me?

[Knock on door]

Maxie: Oh, I can't take this any longer.

Jason: This is not a good time!

Maxie: When is it ever a good time for you? Lulu took off on some huge romantic date with Dominic, and that made me realize that I miss what we have together. You know, the real us. Not the us we are when we're ignoring the fact that I cheated on you with Franco. So please, Spinelli, we need to fix this. And you are going to help us.

Jason: I don't have time for this!

Maxie: You don't have time to do Spinelli and me a huge and necessary favor by ordering him to cheat on me with another woman?!

Spinelli: Maximista, this is manifestly not the time--

Maxie: No, Spinelli, please. This has gone on for way too long, okay? We need to make this right. Don't let Franco ruin the best thing that I had in my life.

Johnny: Someone sent me a picture in the mail.

Olivia: What was it?

Johnny: Ah. It was a hole in the ground out in the Pine Barrens.

Olivia: Your sister's grave?

Johnny: Past tense.

Olivia: What do you mean?

Johnny: [Sighs] Well, it was of Claudia's empty grave. Some psycho dug up her body and is using it as bait for Jason.

Olivia: Oh, my God. How do you know that?

Johnny: Because I took the picture to Jason. And he finally told me the truth about everything. How Claudia died, who killed her. That, uh, he buried her and this psycho dug her... dug her up. I was ready to kill him, I swear, but then I realized I couldn't because it's not really his fault, you know?

Olivia: whose fault is it? Who killed her?

Johnny: Well, I'm sure you have your suspicions, right? Hmm? You're afraid I'm going to use what I know to get revenge?

[Michael sighs]

All: Surprise!

[All talking at once]

Carly: Happy Birthday! You're 18! Okay, this isn't the reaction I expected. Hey, Lucky.

Lucky: Hey.

Carly: How's it going? How did you know about Michael's party? Not that you're not welcome, but, um...

Lucky: Actually, I didn't know about the party. I had to give Michael a ride home.

Sonny: Why is that?

Michael: Go ahead. Go ahead, I'm sure you're dying to tell everybody.

Lucky: Michael was pulled over earlier tonight for drunk driving.

Michael: Ahem.

Sonny: Looks like tonight's not the best night for a party. Thanks for bringing my son home. I can promise you, it will not happen again.

Carly: Can I walk you out?

Lucky: Sure.

Carly: Thank you for bring Michael home.

Lucky: Yeah, it's not a problem.

Carly: What happened?

Lucky: One of our officers pulled him over for driving erratically. He suspected that Michael had been drinking, so he asked him to take a Breathalyzer test. But Michael refused, so I stepped in and took over.

Carly: [Sighs] Well, thank God you were there. Was he arrested?

Lucky: No. We didn't arrest him. I took over for the other officer, and decided it would be best if I just brought him back home. This time, anyway. But it's not going to go on his record.

Carly: Thank you.

Lucky: Look, Carly, I know you know this, but... drunk driving's a pretty serious offense. I mean, BJ died because of a drunk driver. Jason's a mob enforcer because of a drunk driver. You might want to remind Michael of that, okay? The only reason I'm looking the other way on this is because I've been where he's at. Or at least close enough. Look, I'm sorry about the whole thing. I just hope you guys have a good night, okay?

Kristina: I'm really sorry, Michael. Call me later if you want to talk. Happy Birthday.

Michael: Thanks.

Max: Hang in there, buddy.

Milo: Yeah, you're going to be all right.

Max: Keep your chin up. Everybody makes mistakes.

Milo: We'll celebrate your birthday later, man.

Michael: Okay.

Carly: Morgan, I need you to go upstairs. Let the adults handle this.

Morgan: I will, just a minute. Hey. Happy Birthday. I got you a cool present. I'll show it to you later.

Michael: Thanks.

Morgan: Michael messed up, but we all mess up sometimes. So give him a break, it's his birthday.

Michael: Okay, who's first?

Johnny: Well, I wanted the truth and that's exactly what I got. It's a hell of a lot worse than I thought it was going to be.

Olivia: I'm so sorry.

Johnny: Yeah, well, it's not like I could have expected a happy ending, right? And I gotta blame Sonny. And that's all you're ever going to hear about it from me.

Olivia: Because of Dante? Because, what, you think I'm going to go running right off and tell him everything? You know what, I haven't even told him that you know he's a cop, Johnny. That is how much I trust you. I'm trusting you with my kid's life.

Johnny: And he is your kid, Olivia. And I would imagine that when you have kids, there's really nothing you won't do to protect them, right? I'll tell you, Dante took one hell of a leap of faith when he decided to be the guy to take Sonny Corinthos down. What's your plan, anyway?

Olivia: Plan for what?

Johnny: Sonny. It's pretty obvious your feelings are only getting stronger for him. Tonight was just another example.

Olivia: I don't know what I'm going to do. All right, that's the truth. The truth is that I don't have a plan. Okay, and I don't really think that it helps to talk about it with you or with Dante. Can you-- can we just focus on what's right in front of us tonight, please? Can you let me take care of you tonight?

[Lulu sighs]

Dominic: So I'm hoping these tears mean that you liked it?

Lulu: [Laughs] Oh, my gosh, it was so beautiful. So sad. And you're absolutely right. The words don't even matter. I just, I loved it.

Dominic: Well, I can't take all the credit for the magic of "La Bohème."

Lulu: It's just so... I can't--I can't even find the words of how to describe what it does to you, and I can't believe that I've lived here so long, especially in New York, and I've never had an experience like that. Ah. And the lovers, they were supposed to be happy and then she died in his arms.

Dominic: Yeah, that part was pretty rough.

Lulu: Thank you so much. This is the best date that I've ever been on.

Maxie: We are both miserable, and that's not how love is supposed to be.

Spinelli: And yet it so often is.

Jason: Spinelli and I have some work to do, so...

Maxie: We're talking about love here, okay? Just like you have with Sam. I know that I made a mistake. I get that. I'm trying really hard to fix it. I just need a little help. I mean, wouldn't you fight for Sam?

Spinelli: Your sentiment is most appreciated, Maximista. It's your questionable methods which give me pause.

Maxie: What's so wrong about a mistake for a mistake or a hook-up for a hook-up? I mean, we already talked about this. I thought you got it.

Spinelli: Yeah, but it's a philosophy that I cannot embrace. I undoubtedly agree more with Mahatma Gandhi, who wisely declared "an eye for an eye, and soon the whole world is blind."

Maxie: What does that guy know, anyway? He wasn't in this situation.

Jason: I think what Spinelli's trying to say is two wrongs here don't make a right.

Maxie: Could you stop being so stubborn, please? You're the most important person in the world to me. And I just--I really want things to be how they used to.

Jason: Okay, Maxie, I think you're being a little too hard on yourself. I mean, Franco used you and manipulated you.

Maxie: See? So I'm practically the victim here.

Jason: Okay, even though he did manipulate you, you still betrayed Spinelli's trust. But I know how much you love Spinelli, so I think you need to give him however much time he needs to forgive you.

Maxie: Have you been watching a lot of talk shows or something?

Jason: You know what, if Sam calls, tell her I'm on my way.

Maxie: Okay. What exactly was that about?

Spinelli: I think your words prompted Stone Cold to finally realize that even he sometimes needs the support and comfort of loved ones.

Maxie: Well, if even Jason will listen to me, why won't you?

Kristina: I have a lot of homework that I need to finish.

Molly: Mm-hmm, and I'm really tired. I think I'm going--

Alexis: Not so fast, girls. Come on back here. We're going to talk about what happened tonight. There's an important lesson to be learned here, all right? Thank you. Have a seat. Okay. I just want us to be very clear about the fact that under no circumstances is it ever acceptable to drink and drive, okay?

Molly: Oh, Mom, I think I might be a little bit too--

Alexis: Sit down. No, you aren't. Because I was just about to say that you are never under any circumstances to ever, ever get into a car with anyone who's been drinking too much.

Molly: Okay, yeah, good point.

Alexis: If you find yourself needing a ride and the person has had too much to drink, you don't get in the car, you call somebody else. You call me, preferably. I will always come and I won't ask any questions, because I just want you girls home safe. Understood?

Kristina: Don't worry, I already have enough driving drama for a lifetime. But I do feel bad for Michael.

Alexis: I do, too. He's having a rough time right now. He's also making some really bad choices. And I think his parents might be making some bad choices, too. But what I want is for you to both to learn from his mistakes. You need to think your actions through very carefully, and when you make choices, you need to make responsible choices, not just for you but for other people. Because life doesn't always allow you to undo what's been done, okay?

Sonny: Where did you get the alcohol?

Michael: Does it really matter?

Jax: Your father asked you a question.

Michael: I was at Jake's, okay? And it wasn't Coleman. He's too afraid of you. It was the relief bartender--

Sonny: How many drinks did you have?

Michael: I don't know. I wasn't really keeping track.

Sonny: You weren't keeping track?

Michael: No.

Sonny: You thought it was okay to jump in a car drunk and drive? That's like playing with a loaded gun, Michael. What were you even thinking about?

Carly: Don't bring guns into this, Sonny. Come on.

Jax: Sonny is right. You're smarter than this, Michael.

Michael: I thought I could handle it.

Sonny: You thought wrong. It's unacceptable.

Carly: Okay--

Michael: It won't happen again.

Sonny: Okay, you're damn right, it's not going to happen again.

Carly: Can we calm down just for one second? We know you've been through a lot, and we're just worried about you and we're trying to help, that's all.

Michael: Not everything I do has to do with Claudia, okay?

Sonny: Okay, but right now, yeah, it does. Because your mom and I and Jax have been very understanding about the situation. You go and do something stupid like this, there's going to be consequences. Let me tell you, I'm going to take his car away from him.

Michael: When am I going to get it back?

Sonny: You're going to get it back when you've earned it; when you've proved that you understand how serious this is. It'll take as long as it takes. I'm not doing this anymore.

Michael: Look, I get the message. You don't have to say anything--

Carly: I'm your mother. I get to let you know when you've done something wrong, and I get to worry about you.

Jax: You should think about what you've done here tonight, Michael.

Carly: Look at Jason. Look what happened to him because his brother drove drunk.

Michael: Oh, you mean AJ, my biological father. So tell me, who are you more worried that I'll turn out like--him or Dad?

Dominic: You know what, next time we'll go see "Carmen." Actually, the soprano dies in that one, too. It's kind of a running theme with operas.

Lulu: But everybody's passionate and lives their lives to the fullest.

Dominic: Yeah, I guess the way that we're all supposed to.

Lulu: Well, that's why Mimi had to die in the end; to show us how precious life is. Is that why you did this? Is the opera supposed to show me that I'm wasting my life, or wasting us?

Dominic: I would love to take the credit for being that smooth. No, I just wanted to share something with you that I love. I'm really glad you liked it.

Lulu: I loved it.

Dominic: Are you, uh, are you sure? You want to do that here?

Lulu: Well, life is short. You never know when you could get--mmm--what Mimi had.

Dominic: Consumption?

Lulu: Yeah, that.

[Both moaning]

Dominic: Thank you, Puccini.

[Lulu laughs]

Maxie: Could you please just stop fighting me on this? I slept with Franco and you have to pay me back. Pick a girl, okay? Because we're not going to be able to forgive each other like Jason says until we're even.

Spinelli: Yeah, I do not wish to inflict the pain of infidelity--

Maxie: I want you to hurt my feelings! That's the point. Just like you were hurt when you found out that I slept with Franco. Like I said, we will be even.

Spinelli: I don't want to hurt you. Ever. And I already believe that you're sincerely sorry for your actions, and that you were unfairly coerced and corralled by the darkly focused one. I see no good in continuing this cycle of hurt! You are the only woman for me. I do not desire anyone else.

Maxie: Come on, Spinelli, we all have fantasies.

Spinelli: And you're mine. I accept you the way that you are. I just want to put this unfortunate chapter behind us and move on with our non-marriage full throttle.

[Cell phone rings]

Maxie: [Sighs] Well, I guess timing is everything.

Spinelli: What is it?

Maxie: I called in a huge favor with some of my "Crimson" connections, and I guess one of them came through.

Spinelli: Came through? With what?

Maxie: The personal phone number of a certain A-list celebrity actress. Anne Hathaway ring any bells?

Spinelli: Ohh...

Maxie: That's right, Spinelli, your huge Hollywood crush is only 11 digits away. I want you to give her a call.

Dominic: Ooh!

Driver: Oh, I'm sorry. We're here at the train station. I knocked a few times, but I don't think you heard me.

Dominic: Okay. That's cool. Um, we were just, uh... you know...

[Lulu giggles]

Driver: Listen, you know, I'd be happy to drive around the block or the park a few times.

Dominic: Uh, you know what, man, I really appreciate the offer, but I think we're probably just going to get our things together and be out in a couple minutes.

Driver: No problem. Take your time.

Lulu: Oh!

Dominic: He seems like a nice guy.

[Lulu laughs]

Carly: I'm going to remind you of a conversation we had a long time ago, when I told you the person you're most like is me. You definitely have inherited my tendency to blow my life apart whenever I am confused or concerned about something. But you're also like me in other ways. Michael, you're strong and you're independent, and you're resourceful. And you don't quit. And whether you know it or not, you are somebody who doesn't give up on the people you love. Which means you don't give up on yourself, either. And I'm not going to give up on you, ever. I'm your mom. And I love you. Do you understand that?

Michael: Yeah.

Carly: Happy Birthday, baby.

Michael: Thanks.

[Knocks on door]

Jason: Sam?
