Lucky: Hey.

Nikolas: Hey.

Lucky: Had a feeling I'd find you here.

[Horse neighs]

Lucky: It's a great day for a ride.

Nikolas: Yeah, sure is. Will you join me?

Lucky: No, thanks. I got things I have to do, people to see.

Nikolas: Well, you don't sound any happier about that than when I saw you at Jake's. That's assuming that look on your face isn't work-related.

Lucky: Well, there's a lot going on at work, but nothing I can't handle. It's the other thing I have to do today that I'm dreading.

Nikolas: Still gonna do it?

Lucky: I'm breaking my engagement to Elizabeth.

Nikolas: Wow.

Lucky: She's gonna be hurt and confused, but it's the right thing to do. Look, when she starts looking for answers, she's probably gonna come to you, so I just wanna make sure that you'll be there for her, that you've got my back.

[Horse neighs]

Nikolas: Yeah.

Elizabeth: Oh, man.

Robin: Problem?

Elizabeth: Yes, I undermedicated a patient, and Dr. Hayes found the error and is fixing it himself.

Robin: Whoo. Ouch.

Elizabeth: I don't know what's wrong with me today.

Robin: I think you do. It's time that you figure out what to do about Lucky and Nikolas.

Johnny: Here you go.

Olivia: Thank you.

Johnny: But be warned. It's high-octane.

Olivia: Is there any other kind? It's perfect.

Johnny: Like you.

Olivia: Yeah, right.

Johnny: Well, you are, to me. I'm glad you stayed the night.

Olivia: Me, too.

Johnny: Come here.

Sonny: Ahem!

[Knock on door]

Maxie: Is Spinelli here?

Jason: No, he's not. Come on in.

Maxie: Good. I needed to make sure that you understand how vitally important it is that Spinelli never finds out I participated in a questionable photo shoot with Franco.

Jason: Well, I need to talk to you about Franco, because I wanna go over everything that happened with you and him from the moment you left that gallery, and don't leave anything out.

Nikolas: Look, I know that you're hurting right now, but I trust your instincts, and if you think that...

[Horse neighs]

Nikolas: Marrying Elizabeth doesn't feel right, then, yes, maybe it is wise to call off the engagement, but only if you're sure and only if that's what she wants, and I tell you, Lucky, she may not want it.

Lucky: I don't think Elizabeth even knows what she wants. That's the problem, and I love her, Nikolas, but something's not right here.

Nikolas: I don't know. I'm really sorry.

Lucky: Anyway, like I said, she's gonna have questions. She most likely is gonna turn to you, figuring that we talked it over since you're not only my brother, but you're my best friend. I'm giving you permission to tell Elizabeth anything I've said, but just try to make her understand that I didn't end the engagement because I don't love her. I did it because I do.

Elizabeth: Okay, I don't deny that I've been struggling, and thank you for the talk yesterday. It really helped a lot.

Robin: Obviously not enough.

Elizabeth: What do you mean?

Robin: Look, I'm just gonna be honest with you, okay? Because you gave me great advice even when I didn't wanna hear it. I was in denial for a very long time, and not facing my problems didn't help the situation. In fact, it made it worse, so I'm just saying please don't make the same mistake that I did.

Elizabeth: No, it's too late, 'cause I already made a choice to cheat on the man I love, the man I am supposed to marry, and to make things worse, I picked his brother to betray him.

Sonny: I just came to get an update on the job I gave you. It looks like you got other priorities.

Johnny: Preliminary inquiries were made. I'm working on it, was gonna follow up on it today.

Sonny: You know, I tell you what. Don't worry about it.

Olivia: You guys, come on. Can we please not do this?

Sonny: Do what, Olivia?

Olivia: You know exactly what I'm talking about.

Sonny: I don't know what you're talking about.

Olivia: Sonny.

Sonny: What?

Olivia: Yesterday, it was so nice...

Sonny: Yeah, it was very nice.

Olivia: Cooking with you. I had a lot of fun remembering how much fun it can be when we just remember how to be friends, you know.

Sonny: You see, that's the thing. I don't--I don't do friends very well. I just got a lot on my plate, you know. And it looks like you got a lot on your plate, too.

[Door closes]

Johnny: You can go after him if you want.

Olivia: That's not what I want.

Johnny: Do you have any idea what you want, Olivia?

Dominic: Look, before you start, I just wanna go on the record as saying I don't like to be summoned by you.

Jax: Oh, when Sonny's arrested, I won't have the need to do that anymore, will I? When are you expecting the warrant?

Dominic: No time soon.

Jax: I don't understand.

Dominic: My superiors are not moving forward. Insufficient evidence.

Jax: What?

Dominic: You heard me.

Jax: You supplied them with a fragment of Sonny's shirt, okay, the shirt that he wore the night Claudia disappeared, with her blood on it, right?

Dominic: I did.

Jax: And you have a recording of him admitting that he killed Claudia.

Dominic: Well, you see, there's the thing. Sonny doesn't actually come out with the incriminating sentence. He skates around it, which means no warrant.

Jax: Well, there will be when I call in a favor.

Dominic: You know, that's a stupid move, Jax, especially if you want Sonny convicted, that is. If he goes to trial with what's considered to be insufficient evidence--and trust me, if our side's thinkin' it, his side'll ride it till the cows come home--and he pulls a not-guilty verdict, that's double jeopardy on a case, okay? Means Sonny can never be tried for Claudia's murder ever again. So the case has to be airtight the first time around, but, you know, Jax, if that argument doesn't sing to you, then by all means, make your call.

Jason: Okay, which door did you and Franco leave the gallery through?

Maxie: Ahem. The back.

Jason: The back. How far was the walk to the car?

Maxie: Not far.

Jason: What kind of car was it?

Maxie: A limo, but not his own. It was a service.

Jason: Which one?

Maxie: How am I supposed to know that?

Jason: Well, did you get a license plate number?

Maxie: You know what? I forgot to write that down.

Jason: Okay, Maxie, when he pulled out, which direction did you go in?

Maxie: Not really good with direction.

Jason: Well, it's really not that hard. At the end of the alley, did you make a right turn, or did you make a left turn?

Maxie: A right, I think, but I couldn't swear to it.

Jason: Okay, how far did you go before Franco blindfolded you?

Maxie: You know what? I didn't check the odometer. And before I answer another one of your tedious questions, I want you to swear to me that you're not going to under any circumstances let Spinelli know that I let Franco take compromising photos of me.

Jason: Well, there's more at stake here than your romance with Spinelli.

Maxie: Not for me. Good. Good! You're here. I can tell both of you together. You know, I can't stand spending one more night in what amounts to a man cave. We need to redecorate.

Lucky: No, really, I wouldn't ask you to get involved in my personal life, but if you could see your way clear to help me and Elizabeth, I would--

Nikolas: Yeah, yeah, of course. You know, of course I'll do whatever I can.

[Horse neighs]

Nikolas: No doubt that she'll be disappointed, though. Not in you, but in herself, for putting herself into a position for you two to have to make a difficult choice like this.

Lucky: You think I'm doing the wrong thing?

Nikolas: No. No, I don't. Look, I didn't say anything to you earlier at Jake's for whatever reason, but, yeah, I see it, too. I see her struggling since she agreed to remarry you, but look. I have no doubt that she would go through it with you out of loyalty.

Lucky: Loyalty?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Lucky: Man, if it's come to that, we're better off apart.

Nikolas: Lucky, she loves you, always has, always will.

Lucky: I think Elizabeth and I derailed as soon as I got addicted to drugs and had an affair with Maxie. I mean, Elizabeth wants to blame herself for the affair she had with Jason and lying about Jake's paternity, but I was the one who messed the whole thing up first. I thought we got past it, but Elizabeth is still haunted, I guess. Bottom line--she's just not ready to marry me again, and I have to face the fact that she may never be and love her enough to let her go.

Elizabeth: You know, Robin. You know that I am a capable person and that I have survived a lot. Not only have I carried on, but I have made a life for myself and a family, and I ended up with a man who has healed my heart as it should be.

Robin: Right, but things aren't always as they should be. You know, you got thrown a curveball with Nikolas.

Elizabeth: I know. I know. That's just the thing, and I need you to know that sex is a really weird thing for me. My first experience was so brutal that it shut something down inside of me. And obviously I've been with other guys, and it's been fine, and I've enjoyed it, but there's a part of me that has always been unavailable, and I rarely initiate sex, and honestly, I would be more than happy to never have it again. Until now. Nikolas awakened that part of me, and he brought it to life. And I know this is so crazy that we're talking about this right here, because it's Nikolas, and he's my oldest and dearest friend, and he's my fiancé's brother and Emily's husband, and I know that I shouldn't be doing this.

Robin: It's okay. Just keep talking about it.

Elizabeth: I'm so consumed by him. I can't stop thinking about him, about his touch, the way he kisses me, and I pray--I pray every day that I will wake up and this will all just go away, because I just wanna be able to look at Nikolas and not wanna feel him.

Robin: Listen, you are a survivor, and I've always admired how strong you were, but there's something that we're not talking about here. You know, it's not like you can ignore Nikolas and he's gonna go away for the rest of your life. He's a part of your life. He's a part of your family. Unless you think you should tell Lucky about it.

Elizabeth: No. No. No, it will kill him, and it's gonna ruin everything.

Robin: So you and Nikolas, you're supposed to go on like nothing ever happened between the two of you?

Elizabeth: It can be done. Because I'll have Lucky. You see, he's the key. Lucky knows how to love me back to health. He's done it before. He'll be able to do it again.

Dominic: But Claudia's murder is the best shot we've ever had at Sonny, so don't let impatience and frustration get in the way.

Jax: Here's what I don't get about you, Dante. You've worked your way into being a trusted member of Sonny's organization, right? You've got access to his home and office, so why haven't you taken advantage of that?

Dominic: How would you suggest I do that?

Jax: I don't know. You're the cop. I mean, search around a little bit. You know, find something. Maybe you could find a piece of evidence that goes along with what's already existing, and maybe that will be enough to get an arrest warrant.

Dominic: Wow. I mean, I hope I'm misunderstanding you here, Jax, because if you're suggesting that I plant evidence and frame Sonny, that's an obstruction charge, and don't think I won't think twice about slappin' it on you if you keep getting in my way.

Jax: All right, all right, save the melodrama for your mother. You're not gonna arrest me. You're not gonna blow your cover unless you arrest Sonny. And as far as obstruction charges go, all I'm asking you is that you do your job, or I will call in that favor and have you replaced by someone who can actually arrest Sonny.

[Sonny sighs]

Kate: Surprise. I have business. I'd like to extend my dock and my boathouse, but it requires an easement on the north end of your property. I was hoping you wouldn't mind.

Sonny: I don't care. I don't even think I've seen the north edge of my property.

Kate: Thank you.

Sonny: Yeah, whatever.

Kate: Let me guess. You had a fight with Olivia.

Sonny: Don't--how would you even know that?

Kate: Oh, I don't know. When we were kids and she'd piss you off, you'd have the exact same expression on your face. You always hated being at odds with Olivia.

Maxie: I'm sorry, Spinelli. I know it makes you uncomfortable--no, make that nervous--to be on the opposite side of any issue from Jason, but we have a crisis here, or at least I do. I mean, how do you guys live like this? You don't even have a dining room table. And if something can't be done to correct this nightmare, well, I might not be able to spend very much time here.

Spinelli: No, no, no. That would be most undesirable. Surely Stone Cold would not object to--

Jason: I object to this waste of time. I need you to help me find Franco, and that takes priority over anything--

[Doorbell rings]

Maxie: Oh, good. I'm glad you're here. I need some backup. I was just trying to tell these 2 Batcave dwellers that they really need to redecorate, and I know you agree with me.

Sam: Um, I kind of like it here.

Jason: Okay, Maxie, you need to leave now.

Maxie: Okay, but I'm gonna take Spinelli with me.

Jason: No. He has to work.

Maxie: Who died and made you God?

Jason: Maxie, shut up and help me with Franco, or just get out!

Lucky: Got a minute?

Jax: For the PCPD, anytime. Sit down.

Lucky: I'm following up on Claudia Corinthos' disappearance. I know you already gave us a statement, but I just had a few additional questions.

Jax: Well, fire away.

Lucky: You were at Sonny's house on the night in question when he received a call allegedly from Sam.

Jax: Yes.

Lucky: Okay. How did he seem on that call?

Jax: He was relieved. He told us that Carly and the baby were okay and en route to General Hospital. Actually, now that I think about it, his attitude did change when he got back on the call.

Lucky: How?

Jax: I don't know. He tightened up, and I think he was speaking in code, 'cause I didn't understand what he was saying.

Lucky: Did he seem anxious?

Jax: No, not at all. Just went right back into work mode, you know, that mob boss control.

Lucky: All right. What happened next?

Jax: He left. He didn't even wait for Olivia and I to go. He was in that much of a hurry, I guess.

Lucky: Would you testify to that?

Jax: Sure.

Lucky: All right. Thanks for your time. Oh, one more thing. This is off the record. Where do you think Sonny was headed?

Jax: To wherever Claudia was, of course, to kill her.

Kate: I spent enough time watching you and Olivia together. I got pretty good at spotting the indicators.

Sonny: What does that mean?

Kate: The look on your face that told me you two were fighting.

Sonny: You know what, Kate? Olivia and I have been fighting ever since we were kids. It doesn't really indicate anything but one person pissed the other one off.

Kate: Yes, but it's not quite that simple with you and Olivia. The emotions are so epic. You know, it's a wonder that you even registered me at all. Do you think about it, what would have happened if you hadn't gravitated toward Joe Scully? I mean, that is the reason that Olivia broke up with you, right?

Sonny: Why think about it? What's the point? You know, I chose what I chose. Olivia didn't want any part of the mob or me once I got in it.

Kate: Do you wish it had been different?

Sonny: No, not necessarily. I wouldn't have been with you, and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.

Kate: Yeah. Sweet of you to say.

Sonny: No, it's the tru--what do you mean, sweet of me? It's the truth.

Kate: I don't know.

Sonny: What?

Kate: Sometimes I wonder whether we shouldn't have ever gotten together back in Bensonhurst or here.

Sonny: Oh, so you have regrets?

Kate: Ho ho ho ho! Uh, sure. I regret the wasted time, because clearly being with you was an exercise in futility from the moment that Olivia and you laid eyes on each other again.

Olivia: Could you tell Jax that I'm running late but I'm gonna be there as soon as I can? Okay, thank you, Marty. Thanks. What?

Johnny: You don't like that Sonny saw us together, and you regret spending the night.

Olivia: No. Johnny, absolutely not. Last night was wonderful. It was a wonderful surprise, unexpected gift. I've missed you so much. I need you in my life.

Johnny: Good.

Olivia: And I wish to God it wasn't true, but I still have feelings for Sonny, and I would never act on 'em, and it's probably just habit, but you deserve to know that.

Jason: You're wasting time that I don't have, so you need to leave. Spinelli will call you when he's free.

Spinelli: Okay, if I might interject, there's no reason for Stone Cold to treat Maximista in such a hostile manner.

Maxie: No, it's fine. I'm gonna go.

[Door closes]

Spinelli: That was completely uncalled for. Maximista does not deserve to be yelled at and berated. She does not see the world as you do. To Maximista, home decor is life-defining. In her way, she was trying to do something good for all of us.

Sam: Spinelli, listen. Jason didn't mean to insult Maxie. He's just worried, rightfully so, about Franco.

Spinelli: Fine, but that's no excuse to treat her the way he did. All right, I'll utilize all the cyberskills at my disposal to track the off-putting artist, but first I need to make sure Maximista's all right.

[Door closes]

Sam: Jason, it is not like you to go off on Maxie like that or anyone else.

Jason: I know. I get that, but Maxie's just scrambling to cover her ass with Spinelli, but I need to find this freak.

Sam: What? You still think he's that much of a threat?

Jason: I mean, if Franco's been following me for months, if he's the one who took the picture of Claudia dead and he could know that Michael killed Claudia, from where I'm standing, yeah, that makes him a threat.

Rebecca: You looking for Elizabeth?

Lucky: Yeah, picking her up. We're going hiking.

Rebecca: Oh, park trails?

Lucky: Woods. We found a little spot we like.

Rebecca: Oh. Let me guess. Secluded, rustic, romantic.

Lucky: That about covers it.

Rebecca: Yeah. I'm jealous.

Lucky: Well, you could fix that. You could drag Nikolas off his horse some morning.

Rebecca: I don't think I'll be getting the chance to do that.

Lucky: Why not?

Rebecca: 'Cause in his very cold, detached way, Nikolas informed me that we don't have a future together and that he doesn't wanna see me anymore.

Lucky: You serious?

Rebecca: Yeah.

Lucky: He didn't say anything to me about that. Not that I gave him much of a chance. I was so caught up in my own stuff, but guess that's why he was so subdued this morning.

Rebecca: What? He was?

Lucky: Yeah.

Rebecca: Oh, that's a surprise. I mean, when we he told me that we were over, he was so detached. It barely even seemed to register.

Lucky: I'm sorry for both of you. I mean, I know I was a little late to come onboard with you guys being together, but I think you're good for Nikolas.

Elizabeth: I can't wait to go back to our spot. Are you ready to go?

Lucky: Yeah. Sure. Hang in there, all right?

Rebecca: Thanks.

Jason: Okay, from Spinelli's passport trace, we know that Franco returned to the states in late September, which means he could have been in Port Charles when Claudia died. That means he could have taken that picture of Claudia's dead body and sent it to me.

Sam: Yeah. That's interesting, but without any proof, Jason, it's just a theory.

Jason: Okay. Then let's keep going. We know that Maxie left the art show with Franco, and soon after that, I get yet another picture in the mail in an envelope from the gallery, and the picture is Maxie blindfolded, lying in a chalk outline.

Sam: Right. A picture that Maxie admits to Franco taking.

Jason: Yeah, but why send it to me?

Sam: Did she happen to say anything new?

Jason: Nah. Spinelli came in before--she's not gonna be much help to me, I'm gonna tell you right now.

Sam: All right. Well, you know what? I think maybe it's all in the way you approach her. I'm gonna try. Maybe I'll have better luck.

Maxie: I can tell by that snooty, self-important tone in your voice, you feel you're too good to pass along messages. Well, guess what. It's your job. So I demand that you call Franco right now and tell him he needs to return my phone call. Can't believe this is happening to me.

Spinelli: Maximista.

Maxie: Spinelli. Oh! What are you doing here?

Spinelli: Well, I--no, I just got here now. I wanted to apologize for Stone Cold's inexplicable behavior. I mean, yes, he's under enormous stress, whatever, but it's no excuse for being unkind.

Maxie: It's okay. I'm not offended.

Spinelli: You're not?

Maxie: No, I know I'm an annoying person, especially to Jason, and clearly he's on overload. I mean, for a mob hit man, Jason's been whacking a lot of people lately, like first Claudia, and the cops are all over that. And then he mows down 4 people in a public street, which is technically unsolved, but I mean, who else could take down 4 mob guys and not get shot himself? And now Jason thinks Franco has weird intentions, so I could see why he's stressed out.

Spinelli: You have a most forgiving and understanding nature. And if what you allege about the front street carnage is true--and not to say that anything's been proven-- I'm sure Stone Cold acted in self-defense.

Maxie: Spinelli, you are so sweet, always sticking up for Jason, but you don't have to apologize for him, not to me, anyway. And for the record, I would do anything I can to help Jason find Franco. I would like to have a few words with Franco myself.

Sonny: When I tracked down Olivia to come to our wedding, that was for you, not for me. You were feeling nostalgic, and I wanted you to have some family there.

Kate: Mm-hmm. You didn't feel the slightest twinge of excitement at the thought of seeing her again?

Sonny: Well, you know, it's been 20 years, right? So I'm sure I wanted to see her a little bit and she wanted to see me a little bit, but it's not like we were carrying torches for each other.

Kate: Ahem. Yeah. Okay. Fine. I won't say that it was deliberate. Okay, I won't even say that it was conscious, but, hey, look at me. I was deep in willful blindness, and even I had to admit that you and Olivia still had it for each other.

Sonny: See, now you're-- you always do this. Now you're making stuff up in your head.

Kate: Am I?

Sonny: Yes, you are.

Kate: Sonny, you can admit it, okay?

Sonny: Right.

Kate: Look, I won't take it as a reflection on our own failed relationship, all right? I know full well that we didn't come apart because of Olivia. I'm just making an observation that it isn't over between you and my cousin.

Sonny: Olivia's with Johnny now. Why? That's not my business. But if I had any doubt, it was confirmed this morning...

Kate: Oh, poo.

Sonny: With my own eyes, yes.

Kate: Please.

Sonny: No, I'm dead serious.

Kate: You know that all you have to do is run on over there and tell her how much you love her, and she would finally all be yours. Destiny fulfilled after all of these years. You know, irony is quite delicious that I would be the one to tell you the truth.

Sonny: You know, seriously, you got a bad habit of just barging in.

Dominic: I'm sorry. The guard didn't tell me you had company right now.

Kate: No, it's okay. I think I've stayed too long as it is. I need to call the architect and tell him to move forward with the boathouse project. Thank you for agreeing with the easement, and you should really consider my advice.

Dominic: Can I ask what advice she was referring to?

Sonny: No. If you're smart, you won't.

Dominic: Okay.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Dominic: Look, it turns out the Joey Limbo death has worked out in your favor. It seems that everyone knows now that you're not one to be crossing, they’re better off staying loyal. And there is nothing at this point to tie you to the shooting on Front Street either. Of course, you know, Claudia's death is a bit more problematic. I was hoping we could go over what happened that night just one more time.

Olivia: Okay, I've got the revised bid on the driveway repair, and I made hard copies of all the e-mails I did.

Jax: Well, you are an hour late for work. It's probably a good thing, though, because your son was just here. I thought that he would have an arrest warrant for Sonny by now, but it turns out there's insufficient evidence. I take it you're relieved about that.

Olivia: I'm just so afraid that this whole thing is gonna end badly.

Jax: Hey, Sonny in prison is good for everyone, except Sonny, of course.

Olivia: Jax, I just don't know what the hell I'm doing anymore. You know, it used to be so clear for me. I spent my entire life making sure that nobody, especially Sonny and Dante knew that they were father and son. I just believed in my heart that that truth would wreck my son, that he would lose all faith in me. Okay? I mean, that is a big revelation, that the mother that raised you, that shaped your self-image, that taught you right from wrong, that she's been lying about something like that your entire life. I'm so-- I'm so proud of him, too, of the man that he's turned into, you know, his self-esteem and his self-confidence and his moral code. I refused to compromise any of that, and if he knew the truth, Dante would make a full disclosure. He is too honest not to, and then what do you have, Jax? You've got a cop who's got a crime Lord for a father. Game over. He's automatically set apart, automatically suspect. I refuse to do that to my kid. And I don't want him constantly looking at Sonny, looking for similarities, constantly afraid that he's gonna turn into his father. I don't want that for him. I know that Sonny's gonna get what he deserves one way or another. I've always believed in my heart that Dante was just better off not knowing the truth, but maybe I was wrong.

Sam: Maxie, hey. Look, I wanted to apologize for the way Jason blew up at you.

Maxie: Spinelli already did a lovely job.

Sam: Look, I am perfectly aware that you only started ranting about redecorating as a cover because you didn't want Spinelli to know that you were at the penthouse answering questions about how that photograph came to be.

Maxie: I answered Jason's endless questions as best as I possibly could, and from friend to friend, could you just not judge me?

Sam: Are you kidding me? No. I would never--no judgment whatsoever. I am in no position to throw stones, given my own transgressions. I just thought maybe you could fill me in on what happened that night so we can sort of get some information on how to find this guy.

Maxie: Well, we're on the same page then, because I wanna talk to Franco, too. He took more than one picture of me, and I really need to get them back. I don't want Spinelli to find out this ever happened.

Jason: I'm sorry about earlier. I'm just a little tense right now. I shouldn't have gone off on Maxie like that, and I know it wasn't fair to you or her. I'm sorry.

Spinelli: Apology accepted. Maximista was remarkably unaffected, anyway. I think she understands like I do that your temper is just a sign of strain.

Jason: I mean, I still know next to nothing about Franco. I mean, I know that he probably witnessed the shootout. He also may have witnessed Claudia's death.

Spinelli: Respectfully, I think that might be a bit of a stretch.

Jason: Okay, Spinelli, I hope that you're right, because if there's a chance that he knows that Michael killed Claudia, I'm gonna have to do something about it.

Elizabeth: Good. The for-sale sign is still here. Nobody bought the property up from under us. I have to tell you I'm feeling really good about the plans of selling my house.

Lucky: Yeah. Maybe we should talk about that.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I know. I really hope it's a quick sale, because I have been researching architects, and I've been doing some preliminary drawings, and I know it's gonna be a really long and expensive process, but we've proven to accomplish the impossible, and at the end of it, we're gonna have a house of our own.

Lucky: That's a beautiful dream, Elizabeth, but we both know it's not gonna happen.

Dominic: What did you see when you were at the cabin?

Sonny: Who says that I was at the cabin?

Dominic: Well, if you weren't, I need to know.

Sonny: Why?

Dominic: Well, you asked me to find out who sent Jason this picture of Claudia's body. It was taken at the cabin, and by the time I got there, there was just ashes. So, I mean, if you were there before me or earlier, maybe you saw a light or a car or anything that would help me figure out who took the picture.

Sonny: You know what, Dominic? All you seem to have for me is a lot of questions about me-- where I was, who I saw, how did Claudia die. What does all those questions have to do with the picture? Unless the picture is just an excuse to find out if I killed Claudia.

Jax: The very best thing for Dante is to successfully bust Sonny, for Sonny to go to prison, and for Dante to never know Sonny is his father.

Olivia: Do you really think it's gonna be that easy? Jax, what kind of freakin' fairy tale are you living in? Where Sonny's just gonna stick out his arms for the cuffs and go marching off to prison? No, he's gonna fight with everything he's got. He will kill if necessary, and the first person on his list is gonna be the cop that brought the incriminating evidence. Okay? I've done everything in my power to avoid this, but I can't put it off any longer. If Dante knows the truth, he's gonna have to take himself off the case. It's a conflict of interest. A cop, he can't investigate his own father. And I know that Dante and Sonny, they will hate me, Jax, and they may never forgive me, but they'll both be alive. I've got to tell the truth.

Spinelli: There's nothing hidden, nothing tucked into the canvas stretchers, no address label. So if there is a message to be conveyed, it's gotta be in the work.

Jason: I've been looking at this thing for hours. It looks like a big mess to me.

Spinelli: It is a bit chaotic. I mean, although, I mean, those 2 columns, they could clearly be a roman numeral, so maybe if there's other numbers to be found, it could end up being some sort of code. Or it could be meaningless.

Jason: No. Franco wanted me to have this painting for a reason. He's sending me a message.

[Horse neighs]

Rebecca: Nikolas. Hi.

Nikolas: Ah. Surprised to see you.

Rebecca: Yeah. I had a chance to speak with Lucky earlier. I consider him an expert on you, and he said some things that really resonated with me, that he'd be sorry to see you spend the rest of your life chasing a ghost and that it would be sad to waste what you and I could have had together.

Nikolas: Yeah. Well, Lucky tends to romanticize my selfish behavior.

Rebecca: Wait. No. See, Lucky's right. It'd be a shame to squander everything that we could have, and I'm not gonna let you go without a fight.

Lucky: I am so honored and grateful that you agreed to marry me, but I've realized that it was wrong to ever ask you.

Elizabeth: What?

Lucky: No, Elizabeth, you have been so unsettled and unhappy ever since we agreed to get remarried, and you've tried to cover it, but you're too honest to hide it completely. I know you love me, and I know that you would do, you would sacrifice anything for me, even your own happiness, but I can see now that this whole thing has just been selfish on my part, and it's gonna stop. The engagement is off.
