Dominic: You need to stop talking.
Kate: Um...no. You need to start listening. There is an aspect to this situation that you couldn't possibly understand. Look, it makes Sonny immune to you and you immune to Sonny.
Dominic: If Sonny finds out the truth, I'm dead.
Kate: No, it depends entirely on what truth we're talking about.
Olivia: Not another word, Connie. Not another word. You have no right to do this.
Jason: Come here. I want you to listen to this again, because you're more objective than I am.
Sam: All right. Okay. Well, um, I'm gonna treat this like any other case, just so you know. I'm only gonna go by the facts that we have. All right. We have a -- a CD, hand-labeled March 31, a bag full of money and clothes and cash that obviously was Devlin's, came from General Hospital, a bunch of business conversations.
Jason: Just tell me I'm not hearing what I just want to hear, that this actually proves that Claudia got Michael shot.
Claudia: You didn't waste any time, did you?
Jerry: And why are we here?
Michael: I mean, it all makes sense now. The memories are starting to fit together. You know, Jerry told me that Claudia set up the hit, but something went wrong, and that's why she kept saying she was sorry. You know, they kept telling me everything because they thought I was never gonna wake up.
Kristina: Are you sure these memories are real?
Kristina: Then you have to tell Dad.
Michael: Well, if I do, what do you think heís gonna do to Claudia?
Claudia: So, you think the South American partners are glad to see us go?
Sonny: Well, you know what? They'd rather wine and dine us to make it clear that they're on board. Uh, but the fact that we're leaving now gives what happened to Mo Verde a chance to sink in. And the fact that you took that gun out of your purse lets everybody know that you saved my life.
Claudia: Not that you didn't have it covered. Come on.
Sonny: What I'm saying is, now everybody knows that the Corinthos and Zaccharas are a powerful team, and nobody will even dare challenge us.
Claudia: That's what this party's about, right? My birthday's just an excuse.
Sonny: No, I told you I'm gonna throw you a birthday party. It will send a message to everyone that, uh, nothing will ever be the same.
Olivia: What's wrong with the two of you? You talk like you're best friends. You're not even supposed to know each other.
Kate: Okay. What happens at Jake's stays at Jake's.
Olivia: How long have you been drinking?
Coleman: So what can I get for you, Miss Olivia? Hey. Better give it up, D. She's all mine, brother.
Olivia: I'll have a glass of water, Coleman, thanks.
Dominic: We have to shut her up.
Kate: Oh, no. No, no, no. On the contrary, I'm your only hope, honey.
Olivia: You just get yourself out of here, okay? I will deal with this.
Dominic: Not till I know she's not gonna blow my cover.
Olivia: Connie would never do that. No matter how she feels about the situation, she knows it's not her secret to tell.
Kate: No, it's not my secret. But it's my obligation. As a Falconeri, I need to do what's right for both of you, whether or not you forgive me.
Carly: I know it's late, Marty, but I put together a few packages for the spa and I thought I could run them past you. You have a pen? Mm-hmm.
Jax: I don't know why I expected you to be upstairs asleep.
Carly: I have to call you back.
Jax: You're supposed to be taking it easy.
Carly: I couldn't sleep. I'm not gonna sit around and do nothing. I'm on the dreaded couch, so you should be happy.
Jax: It's just a few more weeks, Carly.
Carly: I know. Look, have faith in me. I carried our little girl this long. I'm not gonna do something stupid this late in the game.
Jax: Okay, remember the hospital, what you said? You said that you were gonna take it easy. You --
Carly: Hold on. Hey, Marty. Yeah. Sonny?
Sonny: Why are you up so late?
Carly: Why are you calling me? And where are you, anyway?
Sonny: I'm on my way home.
Carly: What's up with you going out of town and not telling me? Where'd you go?
Sonny: I'll talk to you about that later. I just -- I need to make some arrangements at the hotel.
Carly: What kind of arrangements?
Sonny: Uh, I need the Metro Court restaurant on the 29th.
Carly: The 29th? Like three days from now?
Sonny: That's right.
Carly: What's the occasion?
Sonny: I'm throwing my wife a birthday celebration.
Carly: You're throwing that witch a birthday party?
Kristina: Dad is married to Claudia. He'd never hurt her.
Michael: Yeah, but if I explain to him and tell him that she's responsible for getting me shot, he will.
Kristina: It doesn't make sense. Claudia's been so nice to both of us.
Michael: And now I understand why. She was protecting herself, making sure that Dad doesn't suspect her.
Kristina: Whatever Claudia was doing, you don't have to worry about it anymore. I'm sure when you tell Dad what you remember, he'll turn it over to the police.
Michael: He'll what?
Kristina: Your memories won't be enough to convict Claudia, but maybe the new D.A. could open an investigation. Whatever happens, it'll be out of your hands and you can get on with your life.
Michael: Kristina, Dad's not gonna go to the police about a hit that went bad. He will take care of the situation.
Kristina: You don't mean Dad would actually kill Claudia.
Michael: Well, that's what she deserves, isn't it?
Claudia: On Friday at 7 p.m., Sonny is expecting a shipment of coffee. He'll be here to sign off on it. It's all very legit.
Ian: How do you know this?
Claudia: I know.
Ian: He'll have at least two bodyguards.
Claudia: No. The custom inspectors will be here so he can sign off on it in person. He can't risk having guards around.
Ian: I can do this.
Claudia: Good. Then we're agreed. Sonny dies on Friday.
Jason: What do you think?
Sam: Well, Claudia definitely ordered the hit on Sonny. She definitely hired Jerry and Devlin, but to me it's clear that no one expected Michael to be in that warehouse.
Jason: Okay, that's fine, but he was. He took the shot; the bullet ricocheted and took a year of Michael's life because of Claudia.
Sam: Jason, you were right all along and we can prove it. So now what?
Robin: Emma's sleeping. I had a very interesting conversation about the individual versus society in medieval Japan.
Patrick: What's that?
Robin: Okay. Talk to me.
Patrick: Remember the first time that Claudia came into the ER? I don't remember why she was brought in, but I remember the terrible things she said to you when she found out that you were HIV-positive. Remember? She didn't even want you to touch her.
Robin: Claudia's an idiot.
Patrick: Yeah. And I've despised Claudia ever since that evening. Everything she stands for.
Robin: Which makes it very difficult to know how to proceed, since we just helped Jason find evidence against her. You know, I've been thinking about it, too.
Patrick: See, the thing is, Robin, if Claudia was sick, if she was dying, we would try d help her. We would try and save her. We just did when she was in the car accident.
Robin: Right. But how does that apply to this situation?
Patrick: Assuming Jason finds proof that Claudia's responsible for Michael's shooting, we both know what Sonny's gonna do. So where does that leave us? Do we warn Claudia? Do we just look the other way?
Jason: I'm gonna take care of Claudia. She'll pay for what she's done.
Sam: You're gonna have to tell Sonny first.
Jason: Sonny's got a lot going on right now.
Sam: You don't think he's gonna notice if Claudia just disappears? Look, I understand why you don't want to say anything to Sonny. He's gotten a lot closer to Claudia than anyone has ever expected, and even with the evidence on these CDs, he still might order you to back off, and that puts you in an impossible position.
Jason: Well, I'm gonna have to think of something, because doing nothing is not an option.
Sam: Okay, well, then why don't we look at it from Sonny's perspective for a second. When all of this happened, Claudia had every reason to believe that Sonny was gonna kill her brother. So Sonny just might say Claudia taking a hit out on him is just business.
Jason: Okay, Michael getting shot wasn't just business. Claudia hired someone totally incompetent, who fired with a child in the room.
Sam: I know, but Sonny just might say that it isn't Claudia's fault, that Ian made a terrible mistake, he paid for it with his life, and it's over.
Kristina: You can't be serious, Michael. Tell me you realize Claudia doesn't deserve to die.
Michael: I felt so close to Dad that night, you know. Going to the warehouse was a huge deal. I was trying to be all cool. But something happened. I don't know if I'm ever gonna remember it, but I just know what people told me. Ian Devlin pulled the trigger, and my life stopped.
Kristina: No, it didn't. You're fine now.
Michael: Yeah, but I'm gonna be messed up on some level for the rest of my life because of Claudia. She was trying to kill our father but messed it up. She didn't get it right. Why shouldn't she have to pay for that?
Kristina: What happened to you was terrible. Of course you're going to think about revenge. But you can't really want it to happen. Claudia, I'm sure she never meant to hurt you.
Michael: Yeah, she meant to kill Dad. How can you expect me to forgive her for that?
Kristina: Well, Dad's fine, too, and he and Claudia seem very cool together.
Michael: So wait, you donít think I should tell him after all? You think I should just let Dad stay with a woman who tried to kill him and shot me instead?
Kristina: If these memories are even real. Maybe Claudia's innocent, and maybe you're just dreaming this whole thing up, just tike you freaked out when Kiefer wanted to take me home.
Michael: I'm talking about a woman who put me in a coma for a whole year, and you're making this about Kiefer. About some guy who -- who talked you into having sex with him and doesn't even bother to call you.
Kristina: When did you get so mean?
Michael: You know what? I'm sorry, Kristina. I should be protecting you from this, not asking you to help me out of it. I'm sorry.
Mike: Hey. Hey. You okay, honey?
Kristina: Yeah, Grandpa. He's just in one of his moods.
Mike: Yeah. Well, sweetheart, he gets that from his daddy.
Kiefer: Hi, K. Did you miss me?
Olivia: Listen to me. You turned your back on the Falconeris a long time ago. Don't you dare threaten my kid now in the name of family.
Kate: I am attempting to make things right.
Olivia: Connie, if you say one word that puts my kid in danger, you will be picking your ass up off the floor, after which time I will drag you out of this place by your hair. You understand me?
Dominic: You know what? Before my mother resorts to physical violence, let me make this perfectly clear for you. Nothing you can say will stop me from taking Sonny down. If you blow my cover, I'm dead.
Kate: It's not that simple.
Dominic: Oh, yeah. It really is.
Kate: No, really, it's not.
Dominic: Look, if you're not gonna do it for me, do it for Ma, because I'll already be dead. But she might be dead as well. Then it'll be on you. Think about it.
Olivia: You really are a piece of work. Really, you know that? You couldn't be bothered for one second to be part of that kid's life the whole time he was growing up. God forbid your tacky cousin from Brooklyn would have ever showed up to your life in Manhattan. And now, all of a sudden, after you swore you wouldn't, you threaten to ruin his life, tell Sonny that he's his kid. How could you do that?
Kate: How could you not? You're only attacking me because you're angry with yourself.
Olivia: You'll know when I'm attacking you, Connie. This ain't it.
Coleman: Ladies, ladies, now, look, I cannot have two such beautiful girls looking so upset tonight. It's bad for biz.
Olivia: Coleman, please take this bottle away before I break it over my cousin's head. Thank you very much.
Olivia: Um, do you grasp the concept that Coleman pays protection to the Corinthos organization? Anything that you were about to say, if he overheard, he would be obligated to tell Sonny.
Kate: Right. And you could solve all this by telling the truth.
Olivia: Why are you doing this now? You've known about this, what, since Maxieís wedding? Why now?
Kate: Because the closer Dante gets to solving the case, the more danger he is in.
Olivia: If my son is in any immediate danger, I will tell the truth, all right? Why do you think I've stayed in town this long?
Kate: Oh. I think we both know the answer to that, and it has precious little to do with Dante.
Olivia: It has everything, everything to do with Dante. My kid is a cop, Connie, he is a really good cop. He's not gonna back off because he finds out that his target happens to be his father. He's not gonna back off for any reason. My only hope right now is that the NYPD has got his back.
Kate: So why the hell's he still on the case?
Olivia: 'Cause our good friend Jax made some calls. He pulled some strings. He got Dante put back on the case. Knowing everything that we had to lose, knowing everything that was at stake. That's how desperate Jax is to get Sonny put away.
Kate: Okay, so now Jax knows?
Olivia: Yes. Way too many people know about this, Connie. This would be a very excellent time for you to go off on one of your business trips or something, and stop running your mouth. And when you get back, Dante will be back in Brooklyn where he belongs.
Kate: And no one will ever know the truth.
Olivia: That's right.
Kate: Yeah. And there may be violence.
Olivia: I'll step in before any of that can happen.
Kate: Would you, Olivia? You'd step in? How much lead time do you think you're gonna have on that? I was shot at my wedding, in a matter of seconds. I saw Michael collapse in a heartbeat. If you don't deal with this immediately, there is a really, really good chance that Sonny will kill his own child, or Dante will kill his father, and you get to spend the rest of your life in hell knowing that you could have saved them both.
[Knock on door]
Johnny: What's going on?
Dominic: You hear from Sonny or your sister yet?
Johnny: No one has.
Dominic: Well, that's, uh, not too good. Things are pretty unsettled here with Joey Limbo out and about. And Sonny disappearing out of the blue. And, uh, I feel like we've kind of been left a little vulnerable. Don't you think?
Johnny: I don't think.
Dominic: I just wondered if you heard anything.
Johnny: I heard a lot of things. I hear that Claudia came on to you in a pretty major way.
Dominic: Did you also hear that I shot her down?
Johnny: Yeah. Smart choice. Getting involved with Claudia could be a pretty fatal mistake.
Sonny: Why don't you go ahead -- go ahead and fall asleep?
Claudia: Are you kidding? Who can sleep after what we pulled off? We're supposed to be dancing on the town right now. I can't sleep.
Sonny: I told you, I'm gonna throw you the biggest birthday bash Port Charles has ever seen.
Claudia: I can't wait. I really can't.
Sonny: You surprise me. I mean, the last few months, I know they've been tough, but you, uh, you've proved yourself.
Claudia: Yeah, well... It's strange, I mean... a lot of couples, losing a baby, it pulls them apart. This brought us closer together, didn't it?
Sonny: I know something about losing my first child, because I, uh...my wife -- you may know this -- she -- years ago, she was going to open the car door and the car blew up. My wife died. She was pregnant.
Claudia: Lily Rivera, right?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah.
Claudia: Her father wired the car. Killed his own kid.
Claudia: Yeah. That's how you ended up with so much territory in Puerto Rico, right? Her father signed it over to you before he blows his brains out. Sonny, I understand why you don't want to have any more kids. And I respect it. And I'm just gonna be the best stepmom I can be to the kids you have.
Sonny: You've been great with my kids, especially Kristina. And right now she's actually the one that, uh...needs us the most.
Kristina: [Sighs] What's the point in giving me this phone if you aren't going to call?
Kiefer: I know. It's been insane. You know, I have the district lacrosse tournament coming up, and coach has been practicing us really late. I've been working with my tutor to get my grades up. Dad wants me home for dinner every night. Time just flies away. But you got my flowers, right?
Kristina: They're beautiful.
Kiefer: I think about you, K. That's why I sent them.
Kristina: I just thought I'd hear from you. A text or something.
Kiefer: Well, you could have called me.
Kristina: I know, but it's not the same.
Kiefer: Oh. Look, being with you was really amazing. You know, and it was also kind of scary, too.
Kristina: It was for me, too. So maybe we should --
Kiefer: We need to get together right away. I totally agree. Uh, what about Thursday? Okay? My parents are going out of town for a show anyway, so that opens up my whole evening, my afternoon. I want to be with you.
Kristina: That sounds wonderful. Maybe we can really talk about everything.
Kiefer: I can get us a room.
Kiefer: What, don't you want to be with me?
Kristina: Yeah. It's just all happening so fast.
Kiefer: Well, wait. I don't want to push you.
Kristina: You aren't. It's just last-minute, and I don't know if I can get away on Thursday.
Kiefer: Sure you can. If you really want to.
Carly: Yeah, I want to up the rental fee by 20% because Sonny gave us such short notice. Mm-hmm. And I want to charge him $50 -- no, make that $100 for every reservation we have to cancel. Go with the most expensive wine and liquor. And we're going to have to hire a complete wait staff, so just go ahead and add 20% gratuity, although Sonny tips really well. Yeah. I'll call the florist first thing in the morning. Oh, make sure you get some more insurance. You know, when Sonny throws a party, anything can happen. Absolutely you tack that insurance onto his bill. Thanks, Marty. Sounds great. Oh, look, if there's any other questions you have, just go high-end. Yeah. Sonny can afford it. Okay. Bye. What?
Jax: What are you doing?
Carly: Sonny likes to impress people. We need money. Everybody's happy.
Jax: Really? Are you sure that's all it is?
Carly: Well, except for the part where I'm gonna stick it to my ex for every dime that I can because he wants to throw a stupid party for his insane wife, and maybe if the bill's high enough, at some point he's gonna look across the room of flowers and overpriced food and wine and think maybe Claudia isn't worth it!
Jax: Has it ever occurred to you that Sonny and Claudia are staying together because they're alike and they actually deserve each other?
Jason: No matter how much I hate Claudia or how much she deserves to pay...you're right. What happens to Claudia has to be Sonny's choice.
Sam: Okay, all right. So let's just keep on walking through this. All right? Sonny listens to the tapes. He agrees that Claudia's guilty. But it's just business, right? They make for the perfect pair, their marriage is good, Michael seems to like her, Claudia continues to guilt Sonny over Kristina. It makes for a powerful combination, and we both know how Sonny thinks. He might just say that she has already been punished enough and chalk it up to a hit that went bad.
Jason: I don't want to see that happen.
Sam: I don't know. Sonny is already carrying so much guilt, he might not be able to handle the guilt of Claudia's death on his conscience. What if he tells you to back off? Are you willing to let that go?
Kristina: [Sighs] Thanks for taking me home.
Kiefer: Yeah. Well, I wasn't gonna leave you stranded at Kelly's. You know I care about you, right? I proved that the night of the accident.
Kristina: I know.
Kiefer: Look. I don't want us to just be like some casual hookup. I hope you understand that. And if you don't, that's okay, too. We can just forget about Thursday.
Kristina: No. I'll figure out something to tell my mom, and I'll call you later, okay?
Kiefer: You promise you'll call?
Kiefer: Hey, Miss Davis.
Alexis: Hi, there. How are ya?
Kiefer: Good. How are you?
Kiefer: Uh, I hope it's okay that I brought Kristina home --
Kiefer: Kind of wanted to save you a trip.
Alexis: Well, thank you. I appreciate that.
Kiefer: Yeah. It gave Kristina and I a little time together. Our schedules have been kind of crazy, so we haven't really seen each other.
Alexis: Yeah. I bet. Well, senior year is tough. There's a lot going on. Come on in.
Alexis: And those flowers you sent Kristina were beautiful. They smelled up the whole house.
Kiefer: I just wanted to remind her that I still exist, actually.
Alexis: I don't think she needs any reminding. I'm sorry. That was okay, right? It's true?
Kristina: It's true.
Kiefer: Are they still here?
Kristina: Mm-hmm. They're in my room.
Kiefer: Ooh. I hope they look good. I told the florist to send something that a beautiful girl with good taste would like.
Sonny: Kristina thinks that I love her brothers more than her. And I can't really blame her, because I haven't been spending much time with her. And I just hope it's not too late to make it right.
Claudia: Can I say something?
Sonny: Well, I'm not gonna be able to stop you, so...
Claudia: Heh. I think that Alexis is to blame for the distance between you and Kristina, honestly.
Sonny: Well --
Claudia: She's one of these women who can't handle what they can't control, and that includes you and your business. And that's fine for her.
Claudia: But she's putting all of her fear onto Kristina, and that can't be good for Kristina. It can't.
Sonny: Well, you've been thinking a lot about this, haven't you?
Claudia: Your kids are like my family now. I think about them all the time.
Sonny: Well, I Alexis wouldn't fight every little thing. I mean, Carly, you know, we don't agree on a lot of things, but, and she makes me crazy, but we agree on the kids. Alexis sees one thing in Kristina that reminds her of me, and...it -- it, you know, whether it be anger or passion, and she worries, and she thinks she has to fix it.
Sonny: And thatís why Kristina has to be perfect -- so she's nothing like her father.
Claudia: Your kids are really lucky to have a father that loves them as much as you do.
Sonny: Well, Kristina doesn't think that I love her at all.
Claudia: Okay, well, we have to change that, obviously. Why don't we do something with her, like have her over once a week, and we teach her how to cook? That would be fun.
Sonny: [Chuckles] I mean, she'd love it, but I don't -- you know. Really?
Claudia: I mean, she needs to see how much you love her. But she also needs to be around a woman who loves and accepts her father for who he is. Right? And that's me.
Jax: Now, you tend to give Sonny the benefit of the doubt. Or you somehow think that he's been manipulated into this marriage with Claudia, but Sonny's a big boy. He makes his own choices. Just keep that in mind, okay?
Carly: I know that. And I know there's no way I can make Sonny see Claudia for who she really is. He'll have to figure that out on his own.
Jax: Okay. I'm gonna -- I'm gonna turn this project over to Olivia first thing in the morning.
Carly: Oh, no, you're not. Oh, no. If Sonny wants a party, I'm going to give him the party of his dreams. I'm gonna make sure everything's perfect.
Robin: [Sighs] Okay, let's review. We helped a very well-known mobster gather potentially incriminating evidence.
Patrick: Okay, exactly. So, does that make us responsible for that 'cause I'm not sure.
Robin: I don't know. I mean, what are our options? We could warn Claudia, which would maybe save her life. We could say nothing, and then Jason and Sonny would do whatever it is they're going to do. Or we could do what we always do -- we could give my Uncle Mac the heads-up. But then he would just bring in Jason for questioning. Jason would deny everything. Scratch that -- he would remain mute while his lawyer denied everything. And...I don't know. I... Maybe we should just stay out of it.
Patrick: I just keep thinking about Michael. You know, that kid lost a year of his life. He was lucky to wake up from that coma. He's never gonna be the same. If Claudia's responsible for Michael's shooting, she should have to pay for that.
Robin: You sound like Sonny.
Johnny: Claudia's in a pretty dangerous situation... For a lot of reasons. She's -- heh -- taking all sorts of stupid risks.
Dominic: Heh. Do you know the first time she hit on me was at the Corinthos house? What do you think of that?
Johnny: Uhh. I don't want to do if she feels cornered and gets caught in a lie. But you gotta promise me one thing. If she starts acting all nutty or starts hitting on you again, give me a heads-up, all right? Maybe I can help her out.
Dominic: Uh, look. I've seen Claudia in action close up, and there's not much you can do.
Johnny: Yeah. Tell me about it.
Dominic: I'll see you.
Jason: [Sighs] If Sonny listens to this recording... And he tells me to do nothing... [Sighs] I hope it doesn't come to that.
Sam: Well, are you gonna follow his order?
Jason: See, the problem is, my connection to Michael is different than Sonny's. I took care of that kid from almost the day he was born. I would give my life for him.
Sam: Yeah, I know that.
Jason: So, how can I let the woman who got him shot just go on like nothing happened? I...
Spinelli: Uh, greetings, fair Samantha, Stone Cold. Just...
Sam: You came back for your computer.
Spinelli: That is correct.
Sam: Oh. You must have been pretty upset to leave it here.
Spinelli: Did Stone Cold find what he was so desperately seeking? Can you prove that Claudia is responsible for young Michael's shooting?
Jason: [Exhales] I'm sorry that I yelled at you.
Spinelli: I pressed my point too vehemently, so --
Jason: No, I'm -- listen, I'm glad that you stood up to me, because I trust you. I respect your judgment. So, if you think that I'm doing something wrong, I want you tell me test, okay?
Spinelli: Well, "wrong" in the world of Stone Cold is a very flexible concept. And I'm humbled by my master's faith in me. And I stand ready to assist in any future searches. I --
Jason: You can't be anywhere near this now. We're not gonna discuss it, so you need to just take your computer and stay away for a little while.
Spinelli: Um, understood. The Jackal is assured that whatever happens in regard to Vixenella, Stone Cold will act with honor and fairness. In the vernacular, we will do the right thing.
Sam: Why didn't you say anything?
Jason: Because Spinelli talks too much. I mean, he doesn't mean to, but he does. [Sighs]
Sam: You're giving him deniability.
Jason: It's the best way to protect him. I just wish you didn't know so much about this, either.
Sam: Oh, you don't have to worry about protecting me. You just need to protect yourself, Jason.
Alexis: You know, early admission can be a mixed blessing. But on the other hand, it's kind of nice to know where you're gonna be, right?
Kiefer: Yeah. I mean, it creates a good second chance for yourself early in the game. That way if I don't get in, it's just straight to plan "B."
Alexis: Though I have no idea why you'd want to go to Harvard when clearly, Yale is a much, much better school. Right, honey?
Kristina: [Chuckles] You're the expert, Mom.
Kiefer: Uh, is it okay if I ask her?
Kristina: Uh, sure. Go ahead.
Kiefer: On Thursday, I'd like to take Kristina to this coffeehouse near the college. And there's just gonna be, like, this poetry slam and a band.
Alexis: How about alcohol?
Kiefer: No. Just coffee and snacks. [Chuckles] I wouldn't take Kristina to a bar.
Kristina: I know how you feel about me going out on a school night.
Alexis: Yeah. Well... you do have, uh, things that you need to do. But if you get them all done, you can be back by 11:00. Okay?
Kiefer: We'll make it 10:45.
Alexis: Even better. And thank you for asking me face-to-face, 'cause it takes a lot of the pressure off of her.
Kiefer: Yeah. Well, I guess we're set for Thursday.
Kristina: Great. I'm looking forward to it.
Kiefer: I gotta hit the books. So, I will call you later. Okay?
Kiefer: Okay. Bye, guys.
Alexis: Bye. See ya later. Heh.
Kristina: I can't believe you're letting me go.
Alexis: Neither can I. But he seems to make you happy, and you make me happy, so... You're a lucky girl.
Carly: We are gonna make so much money off Sonny's party for Claudia. And I'm gonna be there to personally make sure everything's --
Jax: No. No, no. You aren't going.
Carly: What do you mean, I'm not going?
Jax: I don't want you anywhere near that party or Claudia, for that matter, until after the baby is born.
Carly: Why don't you want me near Claudia? What's going on? We're not supposed to be keeping secrets, remember?
Patrick: That is why I love being a surgeon.
Patrick: If there's a problem, you can either fix it, or you can't. There's no in-between.
Robin: There's no in-between with this, either. We say something, or we don't.
Patrick: If somebody hurt Emma the way Michael was hurt, I don't know if I would trust the justice system, Robin. And that's kind of scary.
Robin: Yeah, well, hopefully we won't ever have to. You know, the truth is... we don't even know what this evidence is against Claudia.
Robin: So, whatever Jason and Sonny choose to do with it is on them. And you know, sometimes, you have to...distance yourself from other people's problems. Maybe they aren't ours to fix.
Patrick: And that is why I love you. Not only are you smart and beautiful and an amazing mother... but you always know how to look at the important things.
Robin: I thought I was an annoying know-it-all.
Patrick: [Chuckles] Oh, you're that, too.
Patrick: But I love you. And I'm the luckiest man in the world to be your husband.
Robin: [Whispering] That's right.
Jason: Barney, just get down here, okay? Thanks.
Sam: Hey, if anything happens to Claudia, you're gonna be the prime suspect.
Jason: I'm not gonna get caught.
Sam: Claudia Zacchara can't just disappear. People are gonna notice. It is risky Jason!
Jason: I know, Sam, and that's exactly why I want you to stay out of this.
Sam: Okay. Okay. All right, fine. I'm gonna treat you like any other client, and I'm just gonna let you take it from here. But Jason, there's one more person that you've got to consider in all this. What are you gonna do about Michael?
Michael: Hey. Have you heard from Claudia?
Johnny: She and your father are out of town on a business trip -- which reminds me, you probably shouldn't be here when your father's not.
Michael: I need to tell you something. It's about your sister.
Johnny: I'm listening.
Michael: Her time's running out. Uh, you're the only who might be able to save her.
Jax: I'm sorry. The last thing I want to do is upset you.
Carly: Then tell me what's going on.
Jax: Look. This party has nothing to do with us. I don't see why you have to be involved.
Carly: I don't want to have another fight about Sonny. Come on.
Jax: Yeah, but we're not having a fight about Sonny. I just want you -- you're supposed to be taking it easy, n? And I'm sure that Sonny would prefer that you didn't show up at the party as well.
Carly: Well, the idea of making Sonny pay and pay some more and then pay a little more for stupidly honoring that trashy slut he married, I don't know. It's enjoyable. I would even go as far as to say that it's relaxing.
Jax: Tormenting your ex relaxes you?
Carly: I'm not tormenting him, no. I look at it like I'm helping Sonny. I mean, if he sees Claudia for who she really is, and he realizes that, you know, she's not worth all the money he's going to spend, maybe he'll dump her.
Jax: All right. We've already had one round of premature labor, okay? Why push it, Carly?
Carly: Hey. Are you gonna tell me what's really going on? Because I know this can't possibly be about Sonny's party for Claudia.
Jax: Okay. I just -- I don't want the Metro Court to be known as a mob hangout. Okay?
Carly: [Chuckling] It's not a mob summit. It's a birthday party. People are gonna wear hats.
[Knock on door]
Jax: Excuse me.
Olivia: Hey, how are you doing? I got your text. What's up?
Carly: You texted Olivia? Why?
Jax: Sonny's hosting a party at the Metro Court restaurant for Claudia's birthday. I'm letting you take over the entire project.
Olivia: What?! He's throwing a birthday party for that witch?
Carly: That's exactly what I said, almost word for word. Can you believe it?
Jax: Okay, okay, okay. You know what? Could you handle it, please? Because I don't want Carly anywhere near the Metro Court on Thursday night.
Johnny: Why are you under the impression Claudia is in trouble?
Michael: I remember everything. Claudia put the hit on my father, and Ian Devlin shot me instead. I haven't told my dad or Jason yet. But I'm going to.
Johnny: Why are you telling me?
Michael: Uh, you know, if it was Kristina, I'd want to know. I'd stand by her and protect her no matter what she did. And I want to give you that same opportunity for Claudia, before it's too late.
Sam: Claudia made it her business to get close to Michael. If she turns up missing, he will know that you're responsible.
Jason: Well, as long as Michael doesn't hold himself responsible, that's all I care about.
Sam: Yeah, but how do you think he's gonna react? He's gonna think that it was revenge. There is no way around that.
Jason: Sam. Are you -- are you trying to talk me out of dealing with Claudia?
Claudia: What if we do some sort of a cook-off with Kristina and Michael, and Molly and Morgan are the judges? Come on. It would be fun!
Sonny: [Chuckling] You think they'd really like that?
Claudia: Yes! Why wouldn't they like that? [Gasps] What the heck was that?
Pilot: We've hit some turbulence. Please fasten your seat belts.
Sonny: Oh, it's probably just a storm cloud we're gonna go through. I don't know. Just a --
Claudia: That wasn't turbulence.
Sonny: You okay?
Pilot: Prepare for emergency landing, please.
Sonny: Hold my hand.
