Michael: If I'm remembering stuff that's never even happened, then nothing makes sense.

Jason: Some of it might.

Michael: Did Sam stand by my bed at the institute? No. She's never even been to the institute. So, I mean, what's to sort out? If...if that memory was bogus, then all of them are.

Jason: Okay, just take it easy, Michael.

Michael: Why don't you just admit that I'm crazy?

Olivia: I can appreciate your concerns about the Metro Court, Dr. Kertz, but we do have a state-of-the-art security system and one of the best convention packages in the business. I'd be happy to give you a tour of the facility, including our brand-new state-of-the-art spa.

Dr. Kertz: Well, the spa won't matter if there's another hostage crisis. Can you imagine 200 dentists held at gunpoint?

Olivia: I can assure you that that's not going to happen.

Dr. Kertz: The last thing any dentist needs is bad publicity. Everyone already hates us.

Olivia: Uh, well, then, why don't we, uh, skip the spa and we'll move right to the security system that we have something specific to report back to your committee.

Dr. Kertz: That might help, especially if you have charts.

Olivia: Oh, we have charts. Oh, we have charts. We have statistics. I can prove to you that the chances of anyone getting shot here are almost nil. We are extraordinarily careful about every single person that we let through the door here at the Metro Court hotel. My God, Johnny! What the hell are you doing here? You're supposed to be in the hospital. You've just been shot!

Johnny: I wanted to see you.

Carly: So when you say that you and Sonny are having a baby... Does that mean you're pregnant?

Claudia: No. But we're trying, so I will be.

Carly: Really? Does Sonny know about this?

Jax: Well, Dominic and I are in the middle of a conversation, Sonny.

Sonny: Yeah, this won't take long.

Jax: All right. Perhaps if you're planning to discuss illegal activities, maybe I should call a cop, huh?

Sonny: I thought we were supposed to get along, Jax, 'cause of Carly and the whole thing.

Jax: Would you rather have this conversation with me, or would you rather talk to Sonny, Dominic?

Robin: Uh, you know, we should go before Uncle Mac has a chance to arrest Spinelli.

Maxie: I'm terrified.

Robin: It's only the rehearsal dinner. You still have time to back out.

Maxie: How could I back out? Spinelli has his heart set on marrying me. He even asked Mac for his permission. He's told everyone we know all about it, and he even convinced Jason to wear a pink tie.

Robin: I'll believe that when I see it.

Maxie: [Sighs] I love Spinelli, I just--I don't want to do anything that will hurt him.

Robin: You know, you seem more concerned about him than you are with yourself.

Maxie: I know. I feel like I'm turning into that fair Maximista he keeps talking about.

Robin: Well, then, Maxie, I don't understand. Why can't you just say, "Spinelli, I'm not ready to get married yet"?

Maxie: Because things don't last forever, okay? People die of diseases. They go away and they never come back. And... I'm not gonna mess this up.

Robin: You can't mess it up. I mean, if you're just honest with him--

Maxie: I'll lie! I don't know why I'm so worried. That's what I do best.

Robin: Hey. Don't say that. That's a terrible thing to say about yourself.

Maxie: Oh, come on, Robin. Not long ago I was hustling drugs for lucky Spencer and walking around Kelly's with a pillow down my shirt. I had no prospects. Now I'm a junior editor at Crimson. I have a career in the fashion industry. I'm in love with a guy who loves me back. And if I have to get married to keep all that together...

Robin: Maxie, you need to be honest.

Maxie: I'm being honest with how I feel about Spinelli, so that should count.

Robin: Look...I didn't want to marry Patrick...for a while. I mean, I fought it as hard as I could.

Maxie: Yeah, but you guys are happy now.

Robin: We are, and it's... it's the best decision I've ever made, but that's me. That's not you. You need to look into your own heart and trust yourself.

Maxie: I know, I know. I need to be honest with Spinelli.

Robin: No, you need to be honest with yourself.

Patrick: I hate to say this, man, but Mac is never gonna give you and Maxie his blessing.

Spinelli: Yet Mac's blessing is the fondest wish of my intended.

Patrick: Since when does Maxie ever care what Mac thinks?

Spinelli: Well, consider the ceremony from her perspective. I mean, neither of her biological parents are gonna be there, and tragically, wise Georgie cannot be at her side. And, you know, the commissioner, for all intents and purposes is her father, so if he can accept me and celebrate her love for me and mine for her, then she'll feel a little less stranded at the altar, a little less alone.

Patrick: I never thought about it that way.

Spinelli: Well, do you think I should try to explain it at the rehearsal?

Patrick: No. No, no, Spinelli. You just stay away from Mac as far as possible.

Spinelli: And deny my intended her heart's desire? I can't. I won't.

Patrick: Hey, listen to me. You concentrate on Maxie, all right? Robin and I, we'll take care of Mac. Maybe in time he'll realize that you're a good influence on her.

Spinelli: So you're saying there's hope?

Patrick: Well, there's hope for a miracle. Just don't build a life on it.

Jason: I know this isn't fun. And it is a process like we keep saying, but you will get through this.

Michael: I couldn't even get through my first day at Madison. Jax pulled all these strings to get me in there and I'm already cutting class.

Sam: Hey, it's no big deal. I'm sure your mother can dream up some excuse for you.

Michael: My mom cannot have any stress. There's no way that I can tell her that I cut my first day at school because I had to have some meltdown over here.

Sam: Why are you being so hard on yourself?

Jason: Okay, you cannot push yourself to remember. You need to give yourself some time to heal, Michael.

Michael: I can't even tell the difference between what's happened and what hasn't.

Sam: Uh, wait a minute. It's not your job to figure out who the villain is. There might not even be a villain.

Ramona: Some villains are vague. Some villains are clear. Some are standing by the bed. And some are in the mirror.

Michael: [Groans]

Ramona, echoing: In the mirror, mirror, mirror, mirror.

Dominic: Is there an unfriendly vibe going on in here, or is it just the drugs wearing off?

Jax: I hope that you'll seriously consider my offer, Dominic. I think it might be the safest place for you with everything that's going on. Plus Morgan's really looking forward to it.

Dominic: I will get back to you.

Jax: The sooner the better.

Sonny: So I heard Morgan wants you to live with him. Now, I don't think that's a good idea. I don't want you to live with the kids and Carly and all that. First of all, you're not ready to guard people. It's too dangerous.

Dominic: That's good. I'm fine at Kelly's. The food's good. There's lots of people there. I'm close to the hospital if anything goes wrong.

Sonny: Okay. But after saving my son's life, I don't think I want you recuperating at a room at Kelly's. So, why don't you go ahead and just stay at my house?

Claudia: Sonny wants another baby as much as I do.

Carly: I seriously doubt that.

Claudia: You know what? Carly, I am always gonna appreciate you pulling me out of that car and saving my life.

Carly: I would have done that for anybody. Let's just say that. You just can't lose a baby and replace it with another one.

Claudia: Obviously. And yet, Sonny and I are getting along better than we ever have. And now is the perfect time for us to have another baby, and we are planning to give our child everything that we never had.

Carly: Yeah, that's a big fantasy for Sonny, to give his kids everything he never had. Yep. And you're obviously guilting Sonny into having another baby with you. Don't flatter yourself. It's really easy to guilt Sonny when it comes to his kids.

Claudia: You know what? Look at yourself, okay, standing there. How pregnant are you with your husband's child and you're still trying to keep your claws in Sonny.

Maxie: I don't know why I'm making such a big deal out of this. It's not like I'm the only person who's ever had pre-wedding jitters. And it's not like getting married's actually gonna change anything. I'll still have my career, and so will Spinelli. And we'll still have amazing sex. And there's nothing Jason can do about it.

Robin: What, what? What? You're gonna live with Jason?

Maxie: For now.

Robin: Why?

Maxie: At first I said absolutely not. But it seems to be really important to Spinelli. You know, he thinks Jason needs people around.

Robin: Does Jason know about this?

Maxie: I didn't ask him.

Robin: Uncle Mac?

Maxie: Well, Mac thinks that we're gonna be living with Lulu at my apartment until we can find our own place. And he's gonna go on thinking that still. Okay?

Robin: Okay.

Maxie: [Sighs] I just wish Mac didn't hate Spinelli so much.

Robin: You know what, I mean, Mac will always think that the guys we are with are not good enough for us. It's just how he is.

Spinelli: Greetings, all. And especially to you, my love.

Maxie: I missed you.

Spinelli: [Laughs] Well, the rehearsal for our nuptials is nigh. We have to go.

Maxie: Oh, I thought that Robin and I were gonna meet you there.

Spinelli: Well, a slight change in plans allows for more time for us together.

Maxie: Can I have my bag?

Robin: Sure.

Maxie: Okay.

Robin: Here you go.

Maxie: I'll see you guys there.

Robin: Bye. Ohh.

Patrick: So, what do you think?

Robin: Not good.

Patrick: She gonna go through with it?

Robin: We'll see.

Patrick: Heh.

Sam: What's wrong, Michael? Why are you still looking at yourself in the mirror?

Michael: It's the fortune teller again.

Sam: Okay. Well, why are you thinking about her? Because most carnival fortune tellers are fakes.

Michael: This one isn't.

Jason: Why do you think that, Michael?

Michael: Because... because I'm crazy.

Sam: Do we go after him?

Jason: No. No, he's just gonna feel more pressure. It's better just to give him some time.

Sam: Okay. Well, what about the fortune teller?

Jason: I don't know. I don't know. Maybe Michael's so desperate for answers he's gonna take 'em from anybody.

Carly: [Sighs] You know what, I can't help it if you feel threatened by the place I hold in Sonny's life.

Claudia: You're the one who feels threatened. Please. Sonny and I are a perfect fit, and our child is gonna have everything that we have to offer. That makes you feel like an outsider, huh?

Carly: [Laughs] I will never feel like an outsider. I'm the mother of Sonny's kids. We were married 4 times. Sonny and I have a connection that you will never break.

Claudia: You have this fantasy when it comes to him that you're the only woman that he could ever always be loyal to, but you're wrong. I mean, come on, you had your chance. You had your opportunity to be his wife and you blew it 4 times. You're never gonna understand him the way that I do. And you will never understand what it takes to run the Corinthos organization the way that I do. We're a perfect fit. I'm the only woman he ever needs. Get it?

Olivia: You nearly scared that poor dentist half to death, and you just cost the Metro Court a very major convention. What do you think you're doing here? Sit down.

Johnny: No, no, I'm okay standing.

Olivia: What kind of hospital lets a man walk out of the ICU room full of bullet holes?

Johnny: I told you, I wanted to see you.

Olivia: I'm not doing this.

Johnny: Look, I can't sit in that damn hospital bed anymore. And it's a waste of time that I could be spending with you.

Olivia: I'm sure you think that's very romantic.

Johnny: Well, it's just the truth. It's honesty. But if you care to construe it as romantic, sure, so be it.

Olivia: You are not--you are not sitting in this office, bleeding half to death, and trying to flirt with me.

Johnny: Are you gonna admit that you're glad to see me or not?

Dominic: You know, I'm a terrible houseguest. I talk too much, I like loud music, I'm hyper. You know, and I'm gonna need a lot of really good food, I mean, after all this hospital slop. I'm gonna drive you nuts, man.

Sonny: I have a big house. I'll make sure you're taken care of.

Dominic: That's reassuring.

Sonny: You know why I want you under my roof? So I can keep an eye on you.

Patrick: Oh, this is nice.

Robin: Ohh. This is what I was afraid of.

Mac: She is so smart, so gorgeous. She could have anybody. And she picks a thug, a babbling thug.

Patrick: Okay, he's gonna lose it any second.

Robin: True. We are going to have to take turns watching him today.

Patrick: You go first. I might set him off.

Mac: ...Investigated by the FBI and should be sent to a federal prison.

Robin: Good point. Hey, Uncle Mac.

Patrick: Hey, Mac.

Mac: A babbling thug dragged Maxie here last night to case the joint.

Robin: Case the joint?

Mac: Yeah, that's what this wedding is--at 10-31, a crime in progress.

Patrick: Mac, I know this is difficult, but Spinelli, he really loves Maxie.

Mac: Oh, would you let your daughter marry an idiot like Spinelli, huh? He should be sitting in federal prison right now. Has everyone forgotten that? You know, he's still breaking laws all over the Internet, and he works for Jason Morgan. How can I let a criminal steal my daughter away from me? I should have had him arrested last night.

Robin: Maxie needs you to believe in her right now and support her choice.

Patrick: They really want your blessing, Mac.

Mac: That's not gonna happen.

Spinelli: Oh, gracious greetings, kind and--Oh.

Maxie: Oh!

Mac: Mmm.

Maxie: Mac. Are you okay?

Mac: You're still my daughter.

Spinelli: You know, I deeply honor and respect the feelings of protectiveness and concern so clearly expressed by the concerned, uh, patriarch that I--

Mac: You know, somebody shut him up. Please.

Patrick: Spinelli, why don't you just grab a seat.

Maxie: That is not very nice.

Lulu: Hey, here's the bouquet. Don't toss it to me unless you want it to hit the ground.

Mac: Can't you talk her out of this?

Lulu: I'm not one to stand in the way of true love. Kate called.

Maxie: Ooh. Don't tell me she's gonna try to stop the wedding.

Lulu: No, she said moving the deadlines is no problem and she wishes you well.

[Indistinct chatter]

Sam: This is nice. Hey, guys.

Maxie: Hey.

Kristina: We brought our readings to practice.

Molly: Yep.

Robin: Hey, no meltdowns in front of Molly and Kristina, okay?

Mac: I will not allow Maxie to throw her life away.

Robin: It is her life, not yours.

Mac: Oh, great. Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse.

Robin: It's Maxie's day.

Mac: Tomorrow is Maxie's day. This afternoon is my last chance to save her.

Robin: Uncle Mac, you've done such a great job raising her. Maybe it's time now to just trust her and let go.

Mac: Let go? For her to go where? To what? A thug and a professional killer. Come on.

Robin: Ugh. I have faith in you. I know you can get through this.

Patrick: Honestly, Mac, it's not your choice.

Mac: You're right. Let's get this show on the road. Why is everyone sitting around? Where's the damn priest?

Monk: Namaste.

Spinelli: Namaste.

Mac: Okay, we're finished here. Damian Spinelli, you are under arrest.

Carly: I've been to hell and back with Sonny. We've loved each other, we've hated each other, we've damn near killed each other. But it's over. We have no future. What we do have is a connection that you will never understand.

Claudia: Yeah, but does your husband understand how obsessed you are with your ex?

Carly: Jax and Sonny have fought over everything and anything, and that's never going to change, and it has nothing to do with you. Jax and I love each other. We want the same kind of life. Sonny and I just don't. It's that's simple.

Claudia: Okay, well, good. At least you understand that much. See, when Sonny and I have a child, when we have a son, he will be raised, he will be groomed to take over as the rightful heir of the Corinthos organization, because that's a part of his life that I understand in a way that you never will. I can give him the kind of family that he needs.

Carly: He has a family. And I'm warning you, don't mess with my kids or the relationship they have with their father.

Claudia: I'm not gonna be pushed around by you or anyone. And I am damn sure not afraid to fight for what's mine.

Carly: You need to watch who you call out these days. The next time you find yourself trapped in a car that's about to explode, you'll be left on your own.

Olivia: Johnny, come on. I've told you again and again, honey, your life is precious to me. All right, I'm not gonna have you risking it so that you can sit here spending time with me if you're supposed to be in a hospital.

Johnny: [Groans] Okay. Then how about a compromise?

Olivia: Is the compromise that I drive you back to mercy?

Johnny: The compromise is you take me back to my place and tuck me in.

Olivia: Okay.

Johnny: That's fine.

Olivia: I'm gonna leave you in that dump over your garage with a chest full of bullet holes?

Johnny: It's not that bad.

Olivia: Johnny, you are a wonderful man. Your apartment is disgusting. I don't like thinking about you there when you're healthy, let alone when you're in critical condition.

Johnny: I'm not in critical condition.

Olivia: Well, you're pretty close.

Johnny: I'm not going back to that hospital. I'm fine.

Olivia: Well, I got to get you out of here.

Johnny: [Groans] Don't worry about it. I will call--

Olivia: No, no. Just--

Johnny: Somebody.

Olivia: Just--could you just-- could you just trust me for a second? Come here.

Dominic: You know what, maybe I'm safer here in the hospital.

Sonny: No, I doubt that. You see, that's why I want you close. You may have been a target as far as what happened in the warehouse. But see, Anthony, he doesn't think things through. He could never have imagined that Johnny was gonna take your place.

Dominic: And why would Anthony Zacchara go after me?

Sonny: Because he wants to make an example of what happens when people switch sides. But since he's failed, he's gonna come at you stronger now. And since my little boy is alive because of you, I feel it's my duty to keep you safe.

Dominic: Well, I appreciate that.

Sonny: I'm gonna have the car come around to pick you up, okay?

Jax: Got a little careless with this, didn't you... Detective Falconeri?

Mac: I am not going to allow Maxie to get married by whatever this is.

Molly: He's a Buddhist monk, sir. Buddhism is essentially a path to salvation obtained through insight into the ultimate nature of reality. It often involves vegetarianism, chanting, and a peaceful resolution to all conflict.

Monk: Well put, my child. I am looking for the garden room.

Spinelli: Oh, uh, that's the room that we made memorable last night.

Maxie: Oh, right. Down the hall on the left.

Monk: And I wish you two lasting peace and happiness.

Spinelli: Namaste.

Monk: Namaste.

Mac: Stop staying that.

Maxie: Would you cut it out?

Mac: Why am I the only one upset about this? Jason, you're the reason Spinelli is here. Can't you stop him?

Jason: Isn't a priest supposed to be here, Spinelli?

Spinelli: Yeah, I'm sure he's just a few minutes tardy, that's all.

Maxie: Maybe he got the dates mixed up and we're gonna have to postpone.

Spinelli: Never. Nothing will stop up from proceeding with our boundless love.

Mac: Oh, no, no. No priest, no rehearsal. No rehearsal, no wedding. That's it, everyone. Pack it up, folks. The wedding's off. It's all been a big misunderstanding. Clear the room.

Spinelli: I'm sure the most reverend Father Coates would not miss such a momentous occasion.

Mac: It's over Spinelli. Everybody go home.

Father Coates: Oh, I'm so sorry I'm late. I took a wrong turn at the first set of French doors. But I ran into the most fascinating Buddhist monk who said something about chanting for peace and understanding in this room.

Mac: Don't talk to me about chanting.

Father Coates: He was offering to chant on your behalf.

Spinelli: A very kind and generous offer, I think.

Father Coates: Yeah. And he reminded me that love is the most powerful force in the universe and that it can bring us all together no matter how far apart we may seem.

Claudia: Okay, before anybody else tells you, I just want to let you know that I had a little run-in with Carly at the Metro Court today.

Sonny: Okay, you see, you know that if her pressure goes up, she could stroke out or even lose the baby.

Claudia: Lose the baby. Yeah, I know because everybody knows.

Sonny: Why are you fighting with Carly? Why are you even talking to her? If you run into her, just get along with her.

Carly: You know she's incredibly possessive of you? It's like you guys are still married. Do you know that?

Sonny: We're connected, 'cause of the children and, you know. You didn't tell her that we're thinking of having a baby?

Claudia: What do you mean "thinking"? We made a clear decision.

Sonny: Yeah, but it was a private decision.

Claudia: We didn't agree not to tell anyone.

Sonny: What's the big deal? You're not pregnant, so what are you thinking?

Claudia: I don't know. I'm sorry. Why don't you let me make it up to you?

Sonny: You know, you want to make it up to me? Make sure everything's fine when Dominic moves in.

Claudia: Excuse me?

Sonny: He's getting out of the hospital, and he's gonna need a place to stay until he gets on his feet. Do you have a problem with that?

Johnny: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to manipulate you into coming here and taking care of me.

Olivia: Be that as it may, if you're too stubborn to go back to mercy, you're gonna let me take care of you here. God. Did you get a list of your meds?

Johnny: No, I wasn't exactly officially discharged.

Olivia: What the hell kind of hospital lets a guy walk out the door that's just been shot?

Johnny: I told you I wanted to see you.

Olivia: Well, you made your point.

Johnny: You're mad at me.

Olivia: Was there any question?

Johnny: [Chuckles] What--ow. What can I do to make it up to you?

Olivia: Lie down and do exactly what I say.

Johnny: My pleasure.

Jax: You might want to consider keeping that in a safer place.

Dominic: How did you know?

Jax: I didn't. I took an educated guess, you just confirmed it.

Dominic: [Scoffs] Damn. That's like the oldest trick in the book. Pretend you know and let the suspect fill in the blanks.

Jax: Yeah, you're a little off your game. No wonder your mother's so worried about you.

Dominic: You know a lot.

Jax: Yes.

Dominic: [Sighs] Can you convince her to leave town or something? Fire her? I don't care.

Jax: I don't think so. You know your mother. She does what she pleases. Plus, she's an excellent operations manager. I mean, I would never let her go.

Dominic: Do you understand the kind of danger she's in if anyone finds out about this?

Jax: Well, you're the one that came into town. So the sooner you get Sonny off the street, the better we'll be.

Dominic: Wait a minute; you want me to bust Sonny?

Jax: I want him to go prison for the rest of his life.

Dominic: Any particular reason?

Jax: A whole bunch of reasons. But mainly because my family will be safer with him there. So I will help you any way I can to make your case against Sonny.

Carly: You're supposed to be at school.

Michael: I left.

Carly: Want to tell me why?

Michael: I'm starting to remember things that never happened.

Carly: Like what?

Michael: You know what, forget it. I don't even--I'm not supposed to upset you.

Carly: No. No, don't do that. Because you shutting me out upsets me.

Michael: Okay, well, I was about to lose it with that jerk Keifer, and then out of nowhere, I had this memory.

Carly: What'd you remember?

Michael: That Sam came to see me at the institute, but it turns out she didn't. So now, you know, I don't know what's going on. I'm having all these things flash through my head and I don't know what's a memory or what's a dream.

Carly: What things are you remembering?

Michael: People standing by my bed saying things, like I told you.

Carly: But what are these people saying?

Sam: Hey. Why are you being so quiet right now?

Kristina: Michael got all upset and left school today. I don't know if he's going to fit in at Madison after all.

Sam: Well, you know, Michael is going through a lot right now.

Kristina: I'm really worried about him. But I can only protect him so much.

Molly: Hey, come on, guys. They're ready. Let's go. Come on.

Mac: It's not too late to back out. Just say the word.

Maxie: If you keep this up, I'm going to start screaming and never, ever stop for the rest of my life.

Father Coates: Is there a problem?

Maxie: No, we're fine.

Robin: Great. See? I knew you could do it. Come on.

Father Coates: All right, once I have you all here, I will do the tradition invocation, and then you can say your vows. Would you like to practice them?

Maxie: Um, I think I'll wait.

Spinelli: I think I'll wait as well.

Father Coates: Then we'll start with the readings.

Kristina: Should we practice them now?

Spinelli: I think we'd prefer to hear them fresh upon the morrow.

Mac: Is that English he just said?

Father Coates: All right, well, that's fine. And now, let's see. Yes, I will pronounce you man and wife. And then you may kiss the bride.

Spinelli: Yes, indeed.

Father Coates: That's right.

Mac: Uh, stop with the kissing.

Robin: Shh. Shh.

Father Coates: Then I'll introduce you to the crowd. You'll turn around and walk down the aisle. Then my work here is finished. That may be one of the easiest rehearsals I've ever done. Let's hope the ceremony goes as smoothly.

Spinelli: Right. Actually, can I...

Maxie: I need to talk to you right now.

Michael: You know, I'm sorry. I should have never brought it up, you know. Especially with you.

Carly: So you remember what people are saying?

Michael: What does it--I mean, what difference does it make if they're not real?

Carly: Okay. You had a tough day today, didn't you?

Michael: So far I hate Madison.

Carly: [Laughs]

Michael: Hate it.

Carly: Well, it could have been worse. I could have driven by and waved or dragged you out of there.

Michael: You wouldn't really have done that.

Carly: I was pretty close. You can ask Jax.

Michael: I'm afraid I'm going crazy.

Carly: Do you remember when I was in a coma? When Morgan was born? I was out for a long time. And I went to this entirely new place, you know, a totally different life. And even though I knew it wasn't real, it felt real.

Michael: So, I mean, how did you handle it?

Carly: It took me a long time to connect with people. And I was...I was terrified. But eventually things started to make sense. And they will for you, too, Michael. They will.

Michael: But I mean, if I can remember what really happened--

Carly: You remember what you remember. And you leave it at that. Just don't put so much pressure on yourself. We already have our miracle, you're awake. You know what I'm thinking? I'm thinking pizza. And I know you're hungry.

Michael: I could eat.

Carly: Yeah.

Michael: But if we went to Andretti's, you have to order the salad.

Carly: Not if we don't tell Jax.

Claudia: I don't like Dominic, okay? He worked for my father for over a year, and now supposedly he's loyal to you?

Sonny: Dominic saved my son's life.

Claudia: He's manipulating you. I mean, he's trying to get on your good side.

Sonny: He's got good instincts, and he got hurt saving Morgan's life. What do you want me to say? I got to keep an eye on him anyway.

Claudia: Okay. I'll make him feel welcome.

Sonny: Thank you.

Claudia: Well, it's what they call a compromise, right? That's what marriage is supposed to be about. I give you something that you want, you give me something I want, like... [Whispers indistinctly]

Johnny: [Groans] Here I was thinking you were gonna have your way with me.

Olivia: Well, you were thinking wrong. I don't negotiate with terrorists. I just can't have you dragging your bullet-shot self all through town. And I want to keep you out of Sonny's way, too.

Johnny: Oh, forget Sonny.

Olivia: I wish that we both could. But he's a permanent fixture in both of our lives now. You know?

Johnny: Yeah, well, if you're trying to protect me against him, you might as well not. You can't protect me against any of it.

Olivia: I don't like the sound of that.

Johnny: I'm just saying, you can't save me, you know. You can't force me to be a better man or change. All you can do is sit there and be the best thing in my life. And I'll try to do the same for you.

Dominic: If anyone finds out I'm a cop, my mother and I will both be dead. Do you understand that?

Jax: Then they better not find out.

Dominic: And you have no reservations whatsoever about what I'm gonna do to Sonny?

Jax: One. Morgan. He likes you. I'm concerned what it's gonna do to him when you bring his father down.

Dominic: Look, I hate the idea of hurting that kid, but when I take his father down, maybe he'll realize that no one is above the law, not even Sonny Corinthos. It's a valuable lesson, and one that might hurt him, but it might also save Morgan's life in the end.

Jax: Living at Sonny's house will give you access to evidence, so you better work fast before anyone else figures out who you are.

[Door closes]

[Dominic sighs]

Olivia: You got to understand something. Being in a relationship, for me at least, it means taking care of the other person.

Johnny: Okay, I get that, but you can't do that with me. Look, I just want to be with you, okay. Whether it's for today, 6 months, or a year, I don't know. I don't know how much time I have left, you know. But I do know that I want to spend every moment of that with you. I've never felt this way about anyone.

Olivia: Neither have I. God help us.

[Cell phone rings and rings and rings and rings]

Olivia: Yeah?

Dominic: Ms. Falconeri? It's Dominic Pirelli calling you. I just wanted to thank you for your concern for me while I was in the hospital. I've just been released, and I'll be well looked after.

Olivia: So, you going back to Kelly's?

Dominic: Actually, no. I'll be staying with the boss. It looks like we're coming up to Mr. Corinthos' driveway right now.

Olivia: Um, okay. Thank you for letting me know.

Dominic: Sure thing. Anytime.

Johnny: You okay?

Olivia: Uh, that was Dominic Pirelli. Apparently he's gonna be recuperating over at Sonny's house.

Johnny: Hmm.

Olivia: Which is a bad idea on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin.

Johnny: You already said you don't trust him.

Olivia: Yeah, and you can't either.

Johnny: Don't worry about me, okay? I'll take care of myself.

Olivia: [Sighs] I hope that's true.

Claudia: I want you the hell out of my house.

Dominic: Wow, is that a new way to greet a wounded man?

Claudia: Don't get cute with me.

Dominic: Why are you so hostile? Are you still afraid I'll tell Sonny you hired me to take out Jason in the ambush?

Claudia: Don't threaten me, Dominic. I might feel the need to defend myself. Hi, honey. I was just making our guest feel welcome.

Carly: Hey.

Jax: Hey. Was school out early today?

Carly: Uh, no. Michael left because he remembered something.

Michael: Except what I remember didn't happen.

Jax: What do you mean exactly?

Michael: Well, you know, the things that I'm saying I've had memories of may not ever have happened. And I know that's a stupid reason to ditch school on the first day. I owe you guys both an apology.

Carly: I don't want you to worry so much about upsetting me. Having you around is so good for me. And I would have given anything to talk to you like this when you were lying in that bed.

Claudia: I'm sorry, Michael. I never meant for you to get shot. I was trying to protect my brother. Not that that excuses what I did. I sent the gunman, I gave the order. It's my fault that you got shot.

Maxie: Thank you for waiting.

Jason: What's wrong?

Maxie: I told Spinelli that I left something here and I would meet everyone else at the restaurant.

Jason: Okay, why do you have to hide from Spinelli that you're talking to me?

Maxie: Because I don't want to marry him.

Jason: Then you have to tell him.

Maxie: No. No. I can't. And I'm only telling you because if I start freaking out tomorrow, you have to grab me and remind me that I love Spinelli and that he loves me, too. And how wonderful he is to me.

Jason: Okay, if you don't want to marry him, you need to tell him. He's gonna understand.

Maxie: No, he won't. And I'm not saying that I don't ever want to marry Spinelli. I love him with all of my heart. And I want to be with him forever. I couldn't imagine my life without him. I just don't want to get married right now.

Jason: Okay, then he needs to know that.

Maxie: No, I'm just gonna lie. It's fine. I've lied about a lot worse stuff than that.

Jason: Maxie, that's not fair to either one of you.

Maxie: No, it's gonna be okay. Just stop me if you think I'm gonna from the alter screaming. Do not let me hurt Spinelli. I can't break his heart.
