Olivia: Oh, you must be so relieved that Michael and Kristina are on their way home. Carly must be just beside herself with happiness.

Jax: Yeah, it takes a lot of stress away from us.

Olivia: Yeah, believe me, I know what it is to worry about your son.

Jax: Any progress in that department?

Olivia: Oh, same old, same old. Dante's still in town, he's still undercover, he's still trying to bring Sonny down. I know it's music to your ears.

Jax: Not at the expense of your son.

Carly: Whose son?

Michael: Look, it was my decision to leave Port Charles. It's my decision to stay in Mexico. I need to figure out my own life, be on my own.

Jason: You know you're not alone. You do have a family.

Michael: Yeah, but if I stay here, I won't hurt them anymore.

Jason: They've been waiting for you to come out of that coma for a year, Michael.

Michael: It was a big disappointment when I did.

Jason: You know that's not true.

Michael: Look, I'm glad that you and Sam showed up for Kristina's sake. You guys can get her home safe. But if you think you can make me go...

Jason: I'm not here to force you to go back.

Sam: Spinelli told us a few days ago when we checked in with him. He said that Mom said that she forced Claudia off road, that she was too tired and upset, and she accidentally swerved into Claudia's car. She's basically taking full responsibility--

Kristina: Mom is lying. I'm the one who forced Claudia off the road that night.

Sam: I know.

Sonny: I'm not trying to punish Kristina for what she did.

Alexis: But that's exactly what could happen if you dredge everything up and she ends up in jail.

Sonny: I get that she didn't mean to hurt Claudia or the baby, but she was driving without a license, she ran away from the scene. If she has any idea what she did, she's gonna feel guilty the rest of her life. And you know what, that's worse than jail.

Alexis: I agree she needs to acknowledge what she did, deal with it, and then be able to move on.

Sonny: However this shakes out, I will not allow our daughter to suffer unnecessarily. I promise you.

Carly: Who's that?

Jax: Olivia. Carly just walked in.

Olivia: Did she hear anything?

Jax: No. And thanks for taking care of everything, and I'll tell her that you said hi. Okay? I don't know how we ever managed without her. She found a new produce supplier who's starting tomorrow, so disaster adverted.

Carly: What was that about her son?

Jax: I told her that Michael and Kristina were coming home and she mentioned some trouble with her own son.

Carly: Oh, Dante. He's not happy that she's seeing Johnny Zacchara.

Jax: Oh, right. Yeah, yeah. I can't say that I blame him. I mean, you know, who--I'm not happy that she's--

Carly: Not everyone is lucky enough to have a true-blue guy like you. I tell you. Mmm.

Jax: Oh, look at you, all resorted to flattery. You think that I won't notice that you're not drinking your milk?

Carly: Stop being the food police.

Jax: I'm not the food police. I'm the baby monitor, huh? It's much less obnoxious.

Carly: No.

Morgan: Was that Michael on the phone? Is he almost here?

Carly: Oh, no, sweetie, that wasn't him. But you know what, I bet you he'll be here by the time you wake up.

Jax: Which means it's time for you to go to bed, isn't it?

Carly: Yep.

Morgan: I'd rather wait with you guys.

Jax: All right, well, we need to talk to you anyway. We need to set some rules for when Michael comes home this time. You know, last time he had some control issues, which led to all this trouble. And you know your mother can't deal with that, right.

Morgan: Michael would never hurt Mom on purpose.

Jax: No, I'm not saying that he would.

Carly: I know.

Jax: It's just that he acts out and loses control. And if you see him doing something that's not right, you need to tell us about it, okay?

Morgan: Wait. So you want me to snitch on Michael?

Jax: Yes, I mean--

Carly: Wait. I know that's how it sounds, but you know what, honey, Michael still has issues. And you have to help us take care of him.

Michael: Are you playing some kind of angle to get me to come home?

Jason: You know I don't play you, Michael.

Michael: I know. That was a cheap shot.

Jason: I'd like you to hear me out before you make your final decision.

Michael: I'll listen, but I already know what I'm doing.

Jason: Okay. You did not run Claudia off the road. And the cops aren't looking for you anymore.

Michael: You figured out some way to cover it up, didn't you?

Jason: No. Alexis confessed and the cops have the evidence to confirm that.

Michael: Uhh. I thought it was me. I thought...I mean, I lost my cool completely, like my head was gonna explode. I thought my baby brother died because I'm out of control.

Jason: You don't have to blame yourself anymore, and you definitely don't have to hide.

Michael: Then I can stay right here and live my life the way I want.

Sam: I knew you were the driver of the car the night of the accident by the way you were acting.

Kristina: If you knew, why would you let Mom take the blame?

Sam: I was out of town when Mom confessed to the accident. And by the way, your story is the only one that contradicts anything that's going on. You did have a fight with your boyfriend, didn't you?

Kristina: Let me get this straight. Mom confesses and everyone just believes her?

Sam: The police found paint chips on the side of Claudia's car that came from one of the hybrids, and not the one that Mom was driving, but the spare one.

Kristina: The one I was driving. I'm feeling so awful about Michael carrying around all the guilt.

Sam: Yeah, but Michael made that assumption. That is not your fault.

Kristina: I told him I could have been the one who caused the accident and he told me not to say anything. He said he would just stay in Cancun and take all the blame.

Sam: Really? And you were just gonna let him?

Sonny: I don't pretend to know Kristina more than you do, but she's gonna be in a lot of pain.

Alexis: She is. Which is why we have to help her get back to normal as quickly as possible.

Sonny: And I'm telling you, if she doesn't admit to this, she doesn't have to answer anybody, she will be punishing herself.

Alexis: Like you punish yourself?

Sonny: Heh. Why do you have to make it about me?

Alexis: You're her father.

Sonny: Right.

Alexis: I'm her mother. And together we're gonna have to help her understand how wrong she was, help her deal with it, and then help her get over it.

Sonny: Absolutely. As long as you don't keep me out of my child's life anymore.

Alexis: If I kept Kristina at a distance, it's because I was scared. But you were culpable in that you didn't try to overcome that.

Sonny: I admit I neglected Kristina, and you know what, it's time that my daughter gets what she needs from her father. Hold on. Max! I need you here now.

Dominic: Ma, you know I love you, but I can't come over every time you call me. It'll blow my cover.

Olivia: Don't do me any favors, all right.

Dominic: Got any manicotti in the fridge?

Olivia: Who do I look like, your grandmother, trying to feed your face every 10 seconds so you love me more? Go see what's in the fridge and help yourself. After we have a chat.

Dominic: Ahh. Evidence there's no such thing as a free meal.

Olivia: Yeah. Jason found Kristina and Michael in Mexico. He's bringing them home right now.

Dominic: That'll make Sonny cheerful.

Olivia: Yes. Do the math. Sonny has been very distracted with his kids missing and Claudia losing the baby. He's not gonna be distracted anymore. Okay, with both his kids tucked safely back in bed, he's gonna be able to focus. He's gonna notice suspicious behavior.

Dominic: Okay, so I'll have to be more careful, not my usual reckless self.

Olivia: Uh, and Jason Morgan, I believe that his reputation speaks for itself. You need to get out of town before they both figure out that you're undercover.

Dominic: [Scoffs] You wound me, Ma. I mean, with all my expertise and training, you don't think I can fool Sonny Corinthos and his number one hit man?

Olivia: I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. You've got to get out of town, or I will find a way to force you out.

Dominic: Did you just threaten me? Because I'm not 10 years old. We're not in Little League here. You can't put me out for disobeying you.

Olivia: I'm trying to save your life.

Dominic: Or Sonny and John Zacchara.

Olivia: Hey, don't insult me.

Dominic: Well, then don't disrespect me.

Olivia: Honey, Sonny will have you killed. I don't think you have any idea what that actually means.

Dominic: Ma, what kind of a cop would I be if I bailed on a job just because my mother thought it was too dangerous? What kind of a man would I be?

Olivia: I have never tried to interfere with your work. Never. I am so proud of what you have chosen to do with your life. And I thank God every day that he gave me such an amazing son. Okay, that's why I'm not gonna sit by and keep my mouth shut while you throw your life away.

Dominic: Wow, way to have faith in me.

Olivia: Honey, have you even considered all the ways that this could go wrong?

Dominic: Yeah. One of them is you. You're old friends with Sonny. You're sleeping with his brother-in-law. Right now you are the most dangerous part of this whole job. If you say something, if you slip up.

Olivia: Sonny will never hear about you from me.

Dominic: And Johnny?

Olivia: I tried to break it off with him. I thought I could.

Dominic: I love you, Ma. And look, I'm the one who got blessed. I'm grateful for you giving me the heads up about Sonny's kids coming home. I'll keep an extra eye out.

Olivia: What, you got 3 of them now?

Dominic: I'll be careful. For you I'll be extra careful. But I'm too far into this to back out now. See ya.

[Door closes]

Michael: If anyone should understand what I'm going through, it's you. After your accident, you didn't fit right back into your old life so you got a new one. Why shouldn't I get a new one, too?

Jason: Are we really gonna sit here and compare brain damage? Because I had no memory. I didn't feel connected to anybody. I thought I was alone. So you know what, I figured I would go out and do whatever the hell I wanted and do it and not hurt anybody, but that wasn't the case.

Michael: So did you feel sorry about leaving the Quartermaines?

Jason: I'm sorry that I hurt them the way that I did and I'll regret it for the rest of my life. I just don't want you to make the same mistakes I made. I don't want you to regret hurting your family, especially Morgan.

Michael: Morgan? Morgan's better off without me. If I go home, I'll be around a bunch of people who feel nothing but sorry for me. I want a life where getting shot doesn't define me.

Jason: It doesn't have to define you. You have people who love you, who care about you, who need you.

Michael: You want to bring me home for Mom. You can't stand to fail her. It's my life.

Jason: And that's why it has to be your choice.

Kristina: It wasn't my idea for Michael to confess. Being here and being on the run, that was all Michael's idea.

Sam: And you were just going along for the ride.

Kristina: Claudia was the one who lost her baby that night. When I heard about it, I felt horrible.

Sam: Yeah, but you didn't feel horrible enough to tell me the truth when I asked you about it or to go to the police or to tell Michael, for crying out loud. You knew how much guilt that kid is carrying around.

Kristina: Michael knows the truth now, and it's up to him to decide what he wants to do.

Sam: What about you? Because you don't have an opinion.

Kristina: You said Mom handled it.

Sam: No, I said Mom confessed. This is far from handled.

Kristina: She's not in jail or anything, right?

Sam: You know, when I was a kid, I had no problem letting other people take blame for the mistakes I made. I would just keep my mouth shut and walk along.

Kristina: But I can't? Is that what you're saying?

Sam: Well, we already talked about this, Kristina. The first lie leads to bigger lies. And that leads to facing the consequences of your actions.

Kristina: I told you I feel bad.

Sam: Hey, listen to me. This is not like staying past your curfew. You ran a pregnant woman off the road. You cover that up, you're gonna live with that for a really long time.

Kristina: I can't risk telling.

Sam: This is not a risk. This--look at me--is the truth.

Kristina: I don't get to make mistakes like that, Sam. I have college plans, everything my Mom wants me to do.

Sam: You made a mistake. Lying about it, it's gonna make it so much worse.

Kristina: I heard you the first 10 times. This just shows me that you don't get what I'm saying.

Sam: Get what?

Kristina: Mom doesn't care if I tell the truth. She cares about me staying on track and being the perfect daughter. That's why she lied. That's why she covered for me.

Sonny: All those times I was supposed to see Kristina and you arranged for her to be out of town or busy, whatever. The reason I let it go is 'cause I didn't want her to be in the middle of a mine field, which was our relationship. And after Michael got shot, of course I avoided her, because I didn't want her in harm's way.

Alexis: And I don't suppose it counts at all that I loved her and gave her every opportunity to succeed.

Sonny: And look how well that's turned out.

Alexis: All right.

Sonny: Okay, you know, I have to step up now. All those fights we had in court about visitation, it's now in effect. No more excuses.

Alexis: Okay. No more excuses.

Sonny: Oh, you're not gonna fight me. That's a first. I'm gonna be in Kristina's life.

Alexis: What the hell? When did my daughter turn into this delinquent? Honestly, she was always reliable, she was dependable. It seemed to change ever since this--well, until...

Sonny: Until what?

Alexis: I'm not putting any blame here, I'm not. I'm just making a note of the timing.

Sonny: Okay.

Alexis: But I noticed Kristina really starting to act out once Michael woke up.

Claudia: Bastards.

Johnny: Claudia, what the hell's going on?

Claudia: They're covering for her. I hate them. I hate all of them.

Johnny: Okay, I really can't be--

Claudia: You know what, John, you should hear them. You should hear them. Like she's the only person who matters. Like my son, my little baby, is nothing but an inconvenience.

Johnny: Okay, if something happened that involved the loss of the baby--

Claudia: Yeah, there is something that happened. Alexis did not cause the accident. It was Kristina. Kristina was driving without a license. She forced my car off the road. She killed my baby. And Sonny and Alexis are back at the house right now strategizing about how to save their little girl's ass, like my son is nothing but a dirty little secret that has to be covered up. They're not gonna get away with this.

Sam: I've said what I needed to say. I think you can work the rest out with your parents.

[Door opens]

[Jason sighs]

Kristina: Where's Michael?

Jason: He's at the boat shack. He says he wants to stay.

Sam: Did you tell him he wasn't a suspect anymore?

Jason: Yeah, it didn't matter.

Kristina: Fine. You might as well hear it from me. Michael's innocent. So is my mother. I was the one who forced Claudia off the road. I was driving without a license. I got in a fight with my boyfriend, and I was crying. It was stupid, and I'm sorry. This is where you lay into me for ruining Michael's life.

Jason: Everybody makes mistakes. It's how you face up to them that counts.

Kristina: What'd you guys do, make notes? Never mind. I have to go.

Sam: Wait a minute. Kristina--

Kristina: Don't worry, I'm not gonna run away. I just have to figure something out.

Sam: Thank you... for not laying into her with both feet, 'cause I have a feeling when she gets home, things are gonna get a lot worse.

Kiefer: I brought you peanut butter cookies from Kelly's. K told me they're your favorite.

Molly: Oh, that's really nice. Thank you.

Kiefer: Hey, I wanted you to know I'm not this total jerk that Morgan says I am.

Molly: I know. Hey, would you like some lemonade?

Kiefer: Maybe. That's my favorite.

Molly: I know that, too. You always have it at the pool.

Kiefer: See? Now we know something about each other. That means we can be friends.

Molly: You know, I bet Kristina's gonna want to see you the second she gets home.

Kiefer: I hope so. I miss her. Do you have any idea when it's gonna be?

Molly: Nobody tells me anything. But pretty soon.

Kiefer: Yeah. You know, I... I just can't believe she left us behind to help Michael. Unless there's another reason.

Molly: Well, it's complicated.

Kiefer: Really?

Alexis: Did Kristina get in touch with you, too?

Kiefer: Uh, I know K's coming home, that's why I'm here.

Sonny: How you doing, Dominic? You doing good?

Dominic: Good.

Sonny: Good. You know, I could have had you killed the night that you were in the woods and you threatened Carly and my sons.

Dominic: I was really hoping we could not go there again and put that whole thing behind us at some point.

Sonny: Well, you're gonna get a chance to do that.

Carly: Okay, Sonny, don't tell me you called me over here because you want to fight about where Michael's gonna live.

Sonny: No, absolutely not. He's gonna stay with you. It's just that Michael still has rage issues and he, you know, he needs somebody to keep him out of trouble, so does Morgan, and I assigned Dominic as their guard.

[Dominic chuckles]

Alexis: What did Kristina say when she spoke to you?

Kiefer: Oh, there was--there was a bad connection. I was just so relieved that she was okay. I was actually wondering, do you have any details on when she'll be home?

Alexis: She's supposed to be home tomorrow morning.

Kiefer: Uh-oh. She must be in big trouble. I sort of hoped--

Alexis: Hoped what?

Kiefer: Well, I wanted to ask you if it's okay if me and Kristina continue seeing each other when she comes home.

Molly: Why wouldn't it be okay?

Alexis: Molly, I left groceries in the car. Would you mind going to get them for me, please? [Sighs] Kristina's gonna have a lot to deal with when she gets back.

Kiefer: Maybe I can help.

Alexis: Why don't you come in and sit down.

Kiefer: Sure.

Alexis: Oh, I heard that you were applying to Harvard.

Kiefer: Yes, ma'am.

Alexis: Congratulations. That's very impressive.

Kiefer: Thank you.

Alexis: And you're in a summer program?

Kiefer: Mm-hmm. Pre-med. Did Kristina tell you?

Alexis: No, I know your dad.

Kiefer: Oh.

Alexis: He's a very well-respected malpractice attorney. I'm surprised that you're going into med school and not law school.

Kiefer: Well, I can do both, actually. You know, that way if I mess up a patient, I can just defend myself.

Alexis: Mm-hmm. You know, your dad brags about you a lot. He's very proud of you. And I can understand. You seem to set very high standards for yourself.

Kiefer: I try. I try. That's actually what attracted me to Kristina. That's why it was so tough when she just...

Alexis: When she what?

Kiefer: Okay, I'm not gonna tell you anything that I wouldn't say to her face, but I think Kristina made a huge error in judgment when she ran off with Michael.

Kristina: Hey.

Michael: Hey. Good news.

Kristina: You decided to come home with us?

Michael: I still have a job. That creep and his skinny girlfriend must have been too freaked out by Jason to report me.

Kristina: You don't have to stay here. My mom confessed to causing Claudia's accident.

Michael: I know. Jason told me.

Kristina: You realize this means I'm the one who did it and my mom's just covering for me?

Michael: Well, that's good, I guess.

Kristina: Not when I have to see her face to face. Please, Michael, don't make me go back there and deal with my mom and Dad alone.

Johnny: Hey. You started without me.

Olivia: My kid is gonna turn me into a wino if he doesn't get a major attitude adjustment.

Johnny: Your kid?

Olivia: Yeah. He is entirely too independent for his own good, and he doesn't listen to a damn word I say.

Johnny: Damn kids today. Don't you hate it when they get like that? Hey, come on. Your kid is a grown man. Stop talking about him like he's 12. Okay, look, I don't even know the guy.

Olivia: Mm-hmm.

Johnny: For all I know, he could be a hot-head or a deadbeat or I don't even know if he's somebody I'd grab a beer with, but what I do know is that maybe your kid gives you grief because you don't treat him like an adult.

Olivia: Well, I am very sorry, but he's always gonna be my baby. And for the record, he's not a deadbeat. He happens to be very dedicated and very good at what he does. It's just he thinks he's indestructible, especially on the job.

Johnny: Okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult the guy. You never even mentioned that he had a job. So tell me, what does Dante do for a living?

Carly: I don't know if I want to start up with the bodyguard thing again. I don't think Michael's gonna like it either. He felt like he was being monitored.

Sonny: Well, it's not like a formal arrangement. It's not like he's babysitting. I mean, Morgan already likes him. Michael will get to like him once he gets to know him. He needs steady influence.

Jax: I think there are other ways to handle this, Sonny.

Sonny: Okay, Jax, we're his parents, his step-parents. Unfortunately, that makes us the enemy. So, you know, he'll be like an older brother, right, who will give advice without it sounding like a lecture.

Dominic: Uh, Sonny, that's not exactly what I signed up for.

Sonny: You'll go where you're needed. Look, it's not like you're gonna police them. You're gonna just make sure they don't get into any trouble, make sure they're safe. If Michael gets in a car and he drives too fast, you'll be able to rein him in.

Jax: I think we should listen to Carly on this one. I think having a guard around Michael's gonna make him act out even more. I mean, I've real reservations about a guard being that--

Sonny: I don't care about your reservations, Jax. I don't want Michael getting into a situation he can't handle again.

Jax: Yeah, and where does it say that having one of your thugs play nurse maid is gonna prevent that, Sonny? Huh? Where does it say that?

Carly: Okay, you know what, we'll let Michael decide. We're not gonna force anyone on him. You know he's not gonna like it.

Sonny: I'm great. I'm great with that.

Carly: Okay. Okay.

Claudia: Sorry. Didn't realize there was a family meeting going on.

Sonny: No, we just got a lot going on.

Claudia: Well, yeah, everybody must be so relieved that the kids are coming home safe. Nothing worse than worrying about your kids' lives, is there? You know, Carly, I don't think I ever had a chance to say thank you for pulling me out of the car that night when I was run off the road, you know

Carly: It was just instinctive. You know, I just didn't think about it, I just did it.

Claudia: Well, you put yourself and the baby at risk, and it's a blessing that your child's okay. It must make you feel very secure knowing that your child is safe inside of you.

Sam: All right, now what? If we go home without Michael, Sonny and Carly are gonna have a complete meltdown, not to mention Jax.

Jason: I can't force him to leave.

Sam: Really, not to put a fine point on it, but I think you can, because Michael totally adores you. He'll do anything you say. Not to mention, he is a minor. And I don't think he's really good at the independent thing for a lot of reasons. And if Sonny and Carly come down here to Cancun to find him, Michael, if he runs off, he can get himself into a lot of trouble.

Jason: I know, but if force him to come back, then he runs away again. That's why it has to be his decision.

[Sam sighs]

Sam: Well, I can sort of see why he likes it down here. It's sort of like a close second to Hawaii.

Jason: Well, I did call for the jet.

Sam: Okay.

Jason: It's gonna take a little while, so if you want, you can go down to the water and take a swim.

Sam: Ooh. I'm tempted. I am. But, you know, I could just settle for maybe a walk on the beach.

Jason: Yeah, go ahead.

Sam: Okay. But your leg is kind of hurt, so maybe we could just sit on the sand and watch the water or something.

Jason: Okay, sounds great.

Sam: Okay.

[Door opens]

Kristina: Maybe we should come down the elevator and then come back up again? Or talk really loud when we're walking--

Sam: Jason and I were just discussing whether or not we should take a walk on the beach while we waited for you guys to come here.

Kristina: Ooh, is that what they call it?

Jason: Well, you're here now. We should get going, unless you came to say good-bye.

Olivia: I believe I mentioned that my son was an adrenaline junkie, so naturally he gravitated towards a high-risk profession.

Johnny: Is he in the military?

Olivia: Oh, he is a firefighter, actually. He doesn't seem to care how much he keeps me up at night.

Johnny: Well, hey, if he's risking his life for something good, if he is loyal to some ideal, there's something to be said for that, right?

Olivia: Heh. Sounds like you admire my son.

Johnny: Well, fighting fires and rescuing people is a hell of a lot better than killing them over territory and money.

Olivia: That's not who you are, Johnny.

Johnny: Yeah, it is. But hey, as long as it's a business, right? As long as the people getting involved, getting hurt know the consequences, I can deal with that. What I can’t deal with is the Michael's situation. You know, when some kid ends up getting his life destroyed.

Claudia: I have a real talent for clearing a room.

Sonny: There's something we need to discuss.

Claudia: Really? 'Cause I thought we were gonna celebrate. Your kids are coming home safe. When are they expected back in Port Charles?

Sonny: That's what we need to discuss, what happens when Kristina comes home.

Claudia: Alexis must be beside herself. I mean, with murder charges and now she's lost her job. You know if Kristina and her sister want to stay here, there's plenty of room for them.

Sonny: No, that's not it. Kristina didn't run away to help Michael. There's something else. And as, you know, Kristina's parents, Alexis and I have agreed to keep it quiet.

Claudia: That doesn't sound good.

Sonny: But you have a right to know. Alexis didn't run you off the road. She was protecting our daughter. Kristina was driving without a license that night, and she caused the accident.

Claudia: We lost our baby because of Kristina?

Kiefer: Ever since Michael came out of his coma, K, Kristina has been really worried about him. Michael started to lean on her, which is totally understandable. You know, he's been through a lot. But Kristina also took on a lot of responsibility for his social rehab. She had me playing tennis with him more than once, which, honestly, was a complete disaster. His temper is off the charts. He goes into these rages, and it's like he leaves the freakin' planet. But for Kristina sake, I try to like Michael and have compassion for everything that he's been through. The problem is, Michael --

Alexis: He's been through a lot. He has a lot of issues. And--

Kiefer: Yeah.

Alexis: Maybe it's just more than Kristina's able to handle.

Kiefer: He's dragging her down. I mean, look, I know this is maybe a little harsh, but the Kristina I know would never run away. She is smart. And she's also really sweet. Maybe she's a little naive, and, you know, I think she can be talked into anything. But, look, I know this is none of my business, but I really hope that you don't punish her too hard for what she did.

Alexis: Kristina needs to come to terms with what she did.

Kiefer: Yeah.

Alexis: And then she needs to try to get her life back on track. And I will do everything possible to make sure that happens.

Carly: You know, when Sonny called us over there, I thought for sure he was going to fight us about Michael living here. But if all he wants is to assign Dominic to bodyguard the boys, I'm okay with that. You're not.

Jax: I just--I think we should give serious consideration to Michael's feelings. I mean, he barely knows Dominic.

Carly: Well, true, but Morgan adores him. You're the one I can't figure out. You're all over the place about Dominic.

Jax: This isn't about me. Don't make this about me.

Carly: Oh, nice try, okay, 'cause your attitude affects us. Especially me. When Dominic showed up, you didn't want him in this house. Then he started bonding with Morgan over baseball, and you're okay with that. But now Sonny wants to hire him to be the boys' bodyguard, and you don't want anything to do with that. I'm sorry; can you help me out here?

Jax: I'm between a rock and a hard place, okay. I have to keep you worry free until the baby's born, and I have to keep Michael and Morgan safe from Sonny's crazy lifestyle. So if Dominic is the compromise, then, you know, I'm willing to take that. Like I said, I have reservations about it.

Carly: Really?

Jax: Yeah. Why?

Carly: 'Cause I know you pretty well and it sure feels like something else, something about Dominic that I just can't put my finger on, Jax. What's going on that you're not telling me about?

Alexis: There she is.

Kiefer: Thank you.

Alexis: Thank you, babe.

Molly: You're welcome.

Kiefer: Mmm. You really made this lemonade?

Molly: Mm-hmm. We bought lemons at the farmer's market, and then Viola showed me how.

Kiefer: Well, your talents are endless.

Alexis: A proud mama.

Kiefer: I can see why.

Alexis: My goal has always been for my girls to have a lemonading normal life.

Kiefer: Well, why couldn't they?

Molly: Well, my Mom's a Cassadine and we're half Cassadine. And Cassadines don't really do normal.

[Kiefer chuckles]

Alexis: My family had certain traditions that precluded what other people take for granted. Thanks a lot. Kristina's gonna have a lot to deal with when she gets home. She’s gonna need a lot of very supportive, trusting people around her. Am I gonna be able to count on you to help her?

Kiefer: Well, that's what I'm here for.

Alexis: You or any other positive people around her couldn't hurt. In fact, the more time you spend with her the better.

Jason: When we get back, we can't tell anyone we saw Jerry or that I was shot.

Kristina: Why not?

Michael: Because my mom. She's not supposed to be upset while she's pregnant. So, I mean, if she found out that Jason got shot, especially by Jerry, she'd flip out.

Kristina: So we just won't tell Carly.

Jason: No, we just won't tell anybody.

Michael: So you're just gonna let it go? That Jerry shot you?

Jason: Just until the baby's born. Don't you think your mom's under enough stress?

Michael: Yeah. Please, Krissy. Look, I've been so unfair to my mom. I'd like to do one thing right for her.

Kristina: Fine. I won't say anything. It will give my mom one less thing to meltdown about.

Jason: Thank you.

Kristina: That was weird. I think that's the first time you've thanked me for anything. I told you we walked in on something. I think they got back together.

Michael: We're going home to face the music, and all you can think about is their love life? That is such a girl thing to do.

Kristina: I'm just saying. When two people think it's over, it doesn't have to be.

Jax: I don't know how I feel about Dominic. I mean, the way you met him is a problem. But you vouched for him and Morgan seems to like him.

Carly: But?

Jax: He works for Sonny. He's a thug. He carries a gun. He gets shot at. And I don't think that Michael will appreciate having a watchdog on his heels.

Carly: They're gonna have to talk to Michael about it bec-- oh.

Jax: You okay?

Carly: Yeah. I just-t--wow.

Jax: What was it?

Carly: Our little girl just kicked me really hard. Heh heh.

Jax: A kick.

Carly: I guess she doesn't like it when we disagree.

Jax: We don't disagree. We never disagree. We don't ever fight, either.

Carly: Oh, yeah. Wow. Was it me or was it weird the way Claudia went on about the baby? I mean, I feel bad for her, but that just really creeped me out.

Claudia: How long has Alexis known it was Kristina?

Sonny: She figured it out when forensics found paint from your car on her spare car's bumper.

Claudia: The car that Kristina was driving?

Sonny: I'm sorry.

Claudia: What are you sorry for?

Sonny: I'm sorry because I didn't pay enough attention to my daughter, and I should have.

Claudia: I don't blame you for your children's actions.

Sonny: Okay, so here's the thing. Alexis and I, we had a discussion about what's gonna happen, and we agreed that since she already confessed to the crime and is doing community service that nobody should know that Kristina caused the accident. I know that doesn't bring your baby back and it doesn't, you know, nothing can or ever will, right?

Claudia: No, no. Uh, no.

Sonny: But why destroy another life?

Claudia: It's funny. When I thought it was Alexis, I was all about blame and revenge. But I remember how screwed up I was at Kristina's age. I get it.

Sonny: I appreciate it. I just...I just want to move past everything.

Claudia: That's exactly what we have to do.
