Spinelli: Oh, I am beside myself with joy.

Maxie: Me, too.

Spinelli: I should have known that when confronted with the doubts and fears of the proud patriarch, you would--you would stand up in the name of love and that you would finally allow me to place the ceremonial ring on the appropriate finger.

Maxie: It's a beautiful ring, Spinelli.

Spinelli: And now all that remains is a wedding.

Maxie: And the kind of wedding that I'm going to want, I will warn you, Spinelli, might take months to plan, maybe even years.

Spinelli: Hey, is every-- everything okay?

Patrick: She is great. She says congratulations.

Robin: And she also has a question for the two of you. When is the wedding date?

Dominic: You know, on second thought, it'd be a shame to torch this whole shipment. Someone went to a lot of trouble to get this product into this warehouse.

Lucky: Secure the shipment. I'm gonna take this wiseguy downtown.

Dominic: I'm all yours. But I promise you're not gonna like it.

Michael: Why doesn't Jerry want us to leave?

Guard: I'm sure he'll explain.

Kristina: Where is he?

Guard: Away, on business.

Michael: Well, when's he coming back?

Guard: He didn't say.

Michael: We have to get out of here.

Kristina: It's just a misunderstanding.

Michael: No, I grew up with guards. They're supposed to do what we want, not the other way around.

Kristina: But Jerry's been so nice to us. He saved us from those guys in the alley. He gave us this nice place to stay. He's gonna help us find jobs.

Michael: He's keeping us prisoner.

Kristina: Why would he do that?

Jerry: Jason Morgan! So lovely to see you again. Don't you love this spot I've chosen? I hear it's really, really good luck to die in a church.

Spinelli: Oh, I would gladly legalize our mutual bliss at the office of the nearest justice of the peace. I--I want Maximista to have the wedding of her dreams.

Maxie: Which I was telling Spinelli could take a while to plan. I mean, we've only been officially engaged for like 30 seconds, and we both need time to recover.

Patrick: Yeah, I think Robin was just teasing.

Maxie: I--I know that. We're just nowhere near setting a specific date yet.

Robin: But that's the first thing people are going to ask you. Right?

Patrick: Well, first when, and where, of course.

Robin: Right. And who's going to be in the wedding, what kind of flowers are you going to have, what kind of cake, invitations-- does any of this sound familiar?

Maxie: I pulled your wedding together in record time because you both wanted to get married before Emma was born.

Patrick: And we almost made it.

Maxie: My situation's a little different.

Robin: Are you sure? Wait a second. Now I know why you guys are so anxious to get married. You're pregnant.

Maxie: Oh!

[Knock on door]

[Music playing]

Female Singer: Let's stick together...

Olivia: What?

Kate: You might want to turn that down. I can hear it all the way around the corner.

Female Singer: We got this thing together

Olivia: Hi.

Female Singer: My baby's the best, not like all the rest, all the rest, nobody gonna stop this thing--

Olivia: [Sighs]

Kate: So, you just had a fight with Sonny. Well, that's what you used to do when you were a teenager, right? Sonny and you would have a screaming argument, then you would rush home and start cleaning something. Anything.

Olivia: I thought you were in the Hamptons.

Kate: Oh, I was, but I decided to come back early. Thought I'd come and see you. I've been thinking about summer in Bensonhurst. Do you remember those stickball games?

Olivia: I remember you didn't used to play because you didn't want to get your clothes dirty.

Kate: True. What about those lemon ices, you know, Mr. Giovanni would sell out of his cart?

Olivia: Yeah, of course I do. That was a long time ago, though. Mr. Giovanni died while you were off at Princeton trying to be someone else.

Kate: I made my choices, Olivia, and...I live with the consequences. I just thought that maybe you would like to reminisce a little, but... why should you, right? I mean, clearly, your life is exactly the same. You were always about Sonny. That's why you moved to Port Charles. That's why you stayed.

Olivia: Okay, I'm not gonna do this with you again right now.

Kate: Sonny is making his way back into your life, Olivia. And I don't care what you say, because I know that he is. And sooner or later you're going to have to tell him about Dante.

Dominic: You want to take me in, I'm not stopping you.

Lucky: Gee, thanks.

Dominic: If you want to look bad, I won't get in the way.

Lucky: So which part of shutting down a major drug shipment's gonna make me look bad?

Dominic: You beat me up for playing pool with your sister, now you drag me downtown when I didn't even do anything.

Lucky: Yeah, well, we found you in a warehouse with a shipment full of drugs.

Dominic: I'm a longshoreman. I'm supposed to be in warehouses. It's gonna look like harassment and police brutality, and, uh, we both know it's just 'cause your sister's so hot.

Lucky: You work for Sonny Corinthos.

Dominic: I'm not gonna argue with you, sir. Even though I've heard that Mr. Corinthos strongly opposes any drug traffic in his territory. I'm just an honest, hardworking longshoreman. Thought something suspicious was going on, so I came to check it out.

Lucky: Yeah, and what'd you see?

Dominic: That crate of drugs.

Lucky: Did you open it?

Dominic: It was already open, sir.

Lucky: Then why didn't you call the police?

Dominic: I heard you're all on the take.

Lucky: Let's go. Guys, secure the premises and don't let anybody else get in here.

Michael: Hey, did you find anything?

Kristina: There's no fire escape and that's the only door.

Michael: You know, we're 3 stories up and I barely even noticed where we were going when Jerry brought us up here.

Kristina: They rescued us, Michael. We both might be dead if not for Jerry.

Michael: Nobody but Jerry even knows we're in Mexico.

Kristina: Nobody will find us here. That's a good thing.

Michael: But you said there's phones in there, right, no PDAs, land lines, nothing?

Kristina: No, I didn't see any computers either.

Michael: What kind of businessman doesn't have phones or computers in his apartment?

Kristina: Maybe he carries a laptop and a cell.

Michael: Jax has a computer in every room. That's how it's supposed to be. We're trapped, Kristina. We need to stop wasting our time denying that. Jerry totally set us up.

Kristina: Jerry used to date my mother. He's your stepfather's brother. There's no way he's gonna hurt us.

Michael: Why can't we get out of this apartment? Why wouldn't he tell us that he was gonna have a guard there, unless the guard was there to keep us prisoner?

Kristina: Maybe he's protecting us from Dad's enemies. He has tons of them.

Michael: Dad hates Jerry. He always warned me that he couldn't be trusted, and this is why. Jerry likes playing games, and it's starting to look like we're a part of one.

Kristina: Jerry was always really nice to molly and me. He used to tell us about gambling in Monte Carlo. I think we should at least give him the chance to explain.

Michael: No, we can’t. Okay? We need to get out of this apartment before Jerry gets back.

Jerry: Hey, you know what? Sam assured me that you'd show up. And didn't she do a good job with the directions?

Jason: Where is she?!

Jerry: Worry, worry, worry. Sam will be perfectly safe as long as she cooperates. Ha ha! Think about it, Jason! If you kill me, you'll never see Sam again.

Jason: Tell me where she is!

Jerry: Ha ha. You have nothing to worry about. Sam is doing what Sam does best, and a good time is being had by all.

 [Panting, heavy breathing]

[Scanner beeping]

Jerry: You know what? It's a shame about the car explosion. We could really have had a nice chat, you know. But now, another opportunity for a perfect conversation presents itself. You see, a badly damaged, brain-damaged boy and his sister striking it off on their own, and--and bravely, I might add. I mean, they're very, very devoted to one another, Michael and Kristina. Not that, you know, you'll ever see them again. Heh. You know, I thought it was rather sloppy the way you let them wander off on their own. I mean, you fail to realize how valuable they are to Sonny's enemies. And, uh, you know, it's a seller's market, so, uh, it's not very good for Michael and Kristina, but it's really very, very good for yours truly. Heh. Very happy. Very happy.

Maxie: Spinelli, are you okay?

Spinelli: Heh.

Patrick: He looks pretty happy to me.

Robin: Here, drink this.

Spinelli: Oh, I--I apologize for any consternation I may have caused. Just the thought of Maximista being with child is a little overwhelm--

Maxie: I'm not, Spinelli, okay? Protection, protection, protection. No babies for me anytime soon. I just became a junior editor, and I don't even like maternity clothes, and then there's the issue of, like, swollen feet and stretch marks and baby vomit.

Spinelli: The idea of, uh, um, Jackal Junior and me and Maximista wandering about our abode is--is a pleasant one.

Maxie: Let's just handle one thing at a time. First our engagement and then the wedding. Okay? Because if we try to move any faster than that, then Mac’s definitely gonna haul you off to jail. Okay?

Spinelli: [Sighs] Heh.

Mac: Why are you still here?

Diane: A.D.A. Addison wishes to question D.A. Davis yet again, and I'm here telling her that that's not going to happen.

Mac: The evidence against Alexis in the Brianna Hughes case is starting to come together.

Diane: Mac, she didn't do it. And there are simpler, much more effective ways of stealing your boss' job.

Louise: I'm not after anyone's job. But Ms. Davis has a long and well-documented history of emotional issues, not to mention her ties with organized crime. The mayor has taken a very strong position when it comes to law and order. And with that--

Diane: Oh, please. So the district attorney murders the mayor's mistress. It doesn't even make sense. Especially when you try to support it with a coerced confession that Alexis ran down Sonny Corinthos' wife du jour.

Louise: Maybe she's jealous.

Diane: Maybe you'll be laughed out of court.

Louise: Maybe--

Diane: Excuse me? Pardon me?

Mac: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Enough. Both of you, all right? Go home.

Diane: Mac, didn't the desk sergeant say that you were at home enjoying a nice quiet family dinner?

Mac: It was canceled when Spinelli showed up.

Diane: A visit from Spinelli is hardly a surprise. He and Maxie are very close.

Mac: He got down on one knee and asked for Maxie's hand in marriage.

Diane: He did? Ha ha ha! Oh, that's the most romantic thing I've heard in a long time. Isn't that romantic? Oh, what do you know? Look, the point is that Mr. Grasshopper is very dear once you get past the babble, and he will obviously devote his life to Maxie. And he's much richer than you think.

Mac: Can you plead me out on insanity when I throw him under a bus?

Lucky: Listen, we just caught this guy in the warehouse with a shipment of drugs.

Diane: Oh, look. There's someone you can prosecute who might actually be guilty.

[Cell phone rings]

Diane: So go ahead--prosecute. Earn a promotion. And you can buy some real shoes. 'Cause there ought to be a law against the things you have on your feet.

Diane: Yes?

Johnny: It's John Zacchara.

Diane: And?

Johnny: Jason wanted me to call you should any of our guys get picked up.

Diane: I'm listening.

Johnny: All right, there's this new guy Dominic Pirelli. He's on his way in. He, uh...well, we hijacked a Zacchara drug shipment.

Diane: I didn't hear that.

Johnny: We were gonna destroy it, and then the cops showed up.

Diane: Muscular, barroom eyes, kind of hair you want to run your fingers through?

Johnny: What?

Diane: He looks like a very bad boy.

Johnny: Yeah, he should be with Detective Spencer.

Diane: [Laughs] He is. Consider it taken care of.

Dominic: It's all just a big mistake, sir. Detective Spencer has already shown hostility--

Diane: You--stop talking. And you release my client at once.

Louise: Your client?

Diane: Dominic Pirelli.

Dominic: And you would be who?

Diane: The best friend you've got.

Olivia: Sonny and Dante are never gonna know about one another.

Kate: You're never gonna tell him? Even after you start sleeping with him again? If you haven't already.

Olivia: I certainly have not.

Kate: Really? Because I see your car over at his house all the time. And I know that he comes here because this is on my way to work.

Olivia: So now you got nothing better to do than spy on me?

Kate: No. Actually, as you know, I've been traveling quite a lot. But every time that I come home, you are with Sonny, or Sonny is with you, despite your affair with Lulu's ex-boyfriend. Which was quite the topic of conversation at work, I must say. Well, anyway, all of that is extraneous because Sonny is the constant. You're always finding excuses to be with him.

Olivia: What excuses? Connie, two of his kids are missing. Carly's a good friend. She's Michael's mother. I work for Carly and Jax. How am I gonna avoid Sonny?

Kate: If two of his children are missing, isn't that all the more reason for him to know about the son--

Olivia: Connie, leave it alone.

Kate: Olivia, I separated myself from the family by choice. And if I had to do it again, frankly...I don't think I would. I certainly wouldn't do it as severely. But you aren't even giving Sonny and Dante a choice.

Olivia: Sonny and Dante are never gonna know about one another because I'm never gonna tell them, and neither are you. It could cost Dante his life.

Kate: Stop being so dramatic. Olivia, why don't you just calm down for a second and think about the good side.

Olivia: There is no good side here, Connie!

Kate: Okay, fine. I don't want to argue about it.

Olivia: Thank you. Thank you.

Kate: I'm just... I guess I'm just homesick, you know? I've been thinking about Coney Island. The lights and the cyclone roller coaster...

Olivia: You always hated Coney Island. You said it was cheap and filthy.

Kate: Sonny took me there sometimes. But he took you, too, right? I bet you still have that token.

Olivia: I don't know what you're talking about.

Kate: Sonny taking you to Coney Island for your birthday, you saving one of the tokens, you turning it into a necklace.

Olivia: I'm sure I threw that stupid thing away a million years ago.

Kate: Okay. Okay, Olivia, you know what? You can deny it all you want, but you have a son to consider. And even if Dante is a grown man, he still deserves to know his father. Especially since you're still in love with him.

Jerry: Hey, uh, you're awfully fond of Sam, aren't you? I understand why. She's a survivor, that one. I mean, she'll do whatever it takes, and that's exactly what she's doing right now. [Chuckles] Jason! Jasey-poo? Heh. Are you trying to be clever? Huh? The strong, silent type? Ooh, Sam would be really impressed with that.

Robin: Well, I got most of the food put away, but since we didn't actually have dinner...

Patrick: Wow, that looks great. Thank you.

Robin: All Mac wanted was a nice family gathering.

Patrick: Yeah, well, Spinelli definitely livened things up, didn't he? Want some?

Robin: I can't believe he got down on one knee. You remember that Emma, because that is the way it's supposed to happen.

Patrick: You think Maxie really wants to get married, or is she just trying to prove a point to Mac?

Robin: I don't know. I can't figure her out.

Patrick: She asked you to try and get her out of the whole until Mac started laying down the law.

Robin: Right, but maybe when Mac said no, that gave her the chance to have something that she really wanted.

Patrick: Or maybe the second someone tells her she can't have something, that's the only thing she can think about, like when Mac told you you shouldn't be involved in the Brianna Hughes case. Look where that got us.

Robin: And by the way, Alexis didn't do it.

Patrick: Emma, your mother is very, very stubborn.

Robin: [Laughs] Well, you tell daddy that you're exactly the same way and so he might as well get used to it.

Patrick: Fair enough, but getting married is a pretty serious thing, and if she doesn't want go through with this, Spinelli's gonna be devastated.

[Emma chattering]

Patrick: Is that right?

Robin: I've known Maxie all of her life, and she's had to deal with so much for being so young. I mean, first a heart transplant and both of her parents leaving her. And every guy she's been with has been either married or left her or died. And for some reason, Spinelli makes all of that go away. He brings out the very best in her, and she gives him confidence, so I think they're perfect for each other.

Patrick: Oh, you do?

Robin: Yeah.

Patrick: Good.

Robin: You know what, little girl? I hope that you find someone as great as Spinelli someday.

Emma: Today.

Patrick: Yeah. Maybe just a little less weird, though. Hey?

Spinelli: It's really happening. See, the Jackal and Maximista will be bound for life in blissful matrimony.

Maxie: Spinelli, I love you with all of my heart. I just think it's important we don't rush into anything.

Spinelli: Are you having second thoughts?

Maxie: No! No, not at all. It's just, we've only been engaged for, like, less than an hour, and I'd never really planned on marrying anyone, so I'm just gonna need some time.

Spinelli: Well, then time you shall have. But I can hardly wait to share the glad tidings with Stone Cold and fair Samantha when they return with the runaway siblings.

Maxie: See? We can't even think about the wedding until they get back. And it could be a while. Besides, I need to break the news to Kate.

Spinelli: I am aware of her unfavorable opinion of me.

Maxie: I don't care what she thinks about you. It's just that I got a promotion and Kate’s gonna be more demanding than usual. Besides, after she and Sonny broke up, she's not really been big on the idea of marriage. We should probably just keep her out of it completely.

Spinelli: I am great with that.

Maxie: Anyway, as long as we're together, it doesn't really matter if we're married or not, right?

[Knock on door]

Johnny: Hey--oh. Sorry to interrupt. Hey, have either of you heard from Jason? We got a little bit of a situation here.

Spinelli: Well, actually, the Jackal and his splendid fiancée just arrived.

Johnny: Wait a minute. Fiancée? You guys are getting married?

Spinelli: That is correct.

Johnny: Wow. That's great. When's the big day?

Spinelli: Soon.

Maxie: Not for ages.

[Johnny and Spinelli laughing]

Mac: How did you get involved in this?

Lucky: I heard he worked for Corinthos.

Diane: Oh, well, then by all means, arrest him, because he must be guilty of something.

Mac: Interrogation one.

Louise: What do you got?

Lucky: We found him in warehouse 17 loaded with the street drugs. Last thing he said, he was gonna torch them.

Louise: Please.

Mac: You thought Diane was tough when you wanted to keep Jason Morgan in lockup? That was nothing.

Diane: You need to tell me everything that happened. Hypotheticals only. How long have you worked for Sonny?

Dominic: A couple weeks.

Diane: In what capacity? Again, on hypothetical.

Dominic: I'm a longshoreman.

Kristina: I don't like being kept in here either, but for all know, Jerry just wants to protect us. Just because Dad doesn't like him--

Michael: Just Dad? Jason, too.

Kristina: Jason hates almost everybody.

Kristina: But Jerry has been nice to both of us.

Michael: I mean, except for the fact that he has a guard out there watching us to keep us here without even telling us. Think about it. Nobody knows we're here. He can do anything he wants.

Kristina: But it doesn't make sense for Jerry to save us and then hurt us.

Michael: It might make sense to Jerry. We have to get out of here.

Kristina: Where will we go?

Michael: Away! I don't know! I don't know! Okay? All I know is that it was on me. I'm the one who ran Claudia off the road and now I have to fix it.

Kristina: No! I'm the reason you're in this mess.

Michael: Why do you keep saying that?

Jerry: You must really feel something for Sam... or you wouldn't be putting yourself through this. Right? Well, then, Sam is worth it, isn't she? I mean, where would you find such a willing and enthusiastic participant in mayhem? Right? And then there are the children, you know? Ha ha. I mean, you have to admit it, it was quite a windfall that I was put in a position to exploit these two--unh!

Jason: You tell me where she is. Now!

Jerry: If I tell you where Sam is, then the game will be over. Where's the fun in that, huh? Unh!

Michael: Why would you think any of this is your fault? I'm the one who's responsible for this.

Kristina: You can't be sure of that.

Michael: You don't run somebody off the road and cause their car to roll without noticing something happened. Okay, if somebody else did it, they'd have come forward by now.

Kristina: Michael, I have to tell you something.

Michael: What? We don't have time for this.

Kristina: I'm sorry. I'm slowing you down.

Michael: It's okay. Okay. Go tell the guard you're hungry. Just trust me. Just go do it.

[Door opens]

Kristina: Hello, sir. I'm really hungry and all there is to eat in here is caviar and crackers.

Guard: When my relief shows up, I'll send him out to get you something.

Kristina: Thank you.

Michael: Okay, so now we know there's one guard. All we have to do is take him down and run.

Kristina: Did you see how big that guy is? There's no way.

Michael: We have a better chance getting away from that guy than from Jerry. All we need is a plan.

Diane: I appreciate your caution, Mr. Pirelli. After all, you are a new employee, and you don't want to drag Mr. Corinthos through this. But I can't defend you until I understand your level of involvement.

Dominic: I'm a longshoreman.

Diane: Look, I know the drugs weren't Sonny's, okay? So is that why he ordered raid, to send some sort of message, hypothetically?

Dominic: I'm a longshoreman.

Diane: The idea is to stonewall the police, not me.

Dominic: Well, I saw... suspicious activities.

Diane: What kind?

Dominic: Suspicious.

Diane: I can't help you if you won't cooperate.

Dominic: Oh, well, I want to-- I want to help in any way I can.

Diane: Excellent. Excellent. Now we're getting somewhere. So, why were you at the warehouse?

Dominic: I'm a longshoreman.

Robin: Mmm. Thank you.

Patrick: Now, what if Emma wanted to marry a guy like Spinelli?

Robin: Hmm, there's only one Spinelli.

Patrick: No, I mean someone in the mob. Because he is, whether you like it or not.

Robin: Jason keeps him away from it. And he annoys Sonny, so they stay out of each other's way.

Patrick: If Sonny wants something from Spinelli, he doesn't hesitate to ask. Spinelli even said that the P.I. agency isn't turning a profit. Did you see the ring? That's some serious money.

Robin: Then Jason must pay well. I don't know. I don't really know how to get around the whole mob thing. Jason and Sonny are two of my best friends, and I'm the niece of the police commissioner. Maybe Spinelli's the same way, you know? Maxie loves him anyway.

Patrick: Well, I have to admit it--I admire the guy. I mean, it took me months to admit that I was in love with you. I don't think I would have had the guts to come over here and ask Mac for your hand in marriage.

Robin: I probably would have run screaming out of town. The country.

Patrick: Well, we didn't make things easy, did we?

Robin: No, but we're worth the hassle.

Patrick: Yes.

Robin: You know what? When you grow up, you have to marry a man just like daddy.

Patrick: Mm-hmm.

Robin: Fearless, kind, sexy.

Patrick: Thank you.

Robin: And he has to treat you like you are the queen of the world.

Patrick: Yes, but when you're old enough. Which I think is gonna be never.

Robin: Oh, come on. Don't you want your daughter to be as happy as we are?

Patrick: How do we know if it's the right guy?

Robin: We won’t. She will. Just like I did.

Johnny: All right.

[Knock on door]

Maxie: Spinelli and I are gonna wait to get married until the time is right.

Johnny: Well, still, congratulations anyway, both of you.

Spinelli: Gracious thanks.

Kate: Maxie, I don't have all night.

Maxie: What is she doing here?

Maxie: Kate! I thought that you were in the Hamptons.

Kate: I was, but plans change. Don't they, Maxie?

Maxie: There was some sort of problem?

Kate: Lulu told me about the wedding.

Maxie: Really?

Kate: So, I've decided to make it a Crimson event. You have quite a following from your club dates, and although our readers would prefer Johnny, we'll make do with what we've got.

Johnny: Awkward. That's my cue to leave.

Maxie: See you.

Johnny: Congratulations.

Maxie: Thank you.

Kate: Now, the idea of a club girl settling down with anyone is quite marketable. Uh, everyone loves a wedding.

Maxie: Kate, that's very nice of you, but, um, Spinelli and I, we weren't planning on getting married for quite some time.

Kate: Oh, that's good, because I've already selected your wedding date.

Maxie: Hmm.

Robin: Well, at least Mac has some food in the house. He's gonna be so busy with the Michael/Kristina APB and the whole Brianna Hughes investigation.

Patrick: Any chance you might lay off on that a little?

Robin: Nope. We are actually going to start questioning people tomorrow about that, right, sweetheart?

Patrick: Oh, so now you're bringing Emma to investigate a murder, are you?

Robin: Here. People seem to talk more when you keep things informal.

Patrick: But you're gonna be careful?

Robin: Yes, of course. We'll just go for a jog on harbor view road, and Emma can smell the fresh air, I can get some exercise, maybe even solve the case. Just call it multitasking.

Patrick: Yeah? What kind of questions are you gonna ask?

Robin: Want some more? Nothing specific. I just want to get a sense of what happened the night of Claudia’s accident. All right, let's go. You know, I mean, uh, was the mayor's wife exaggerating? Did the mayor and Alexis really have a fight? Did anybody else see Alexis driving recklessly?

Patrick: Robin, I don't like the idea of you dragging Emma into the middle of this.

Robin: My mom used to take me along all the time to solve small cases. Besides, Emma has a predisposition to solving crime, right? So, we're just gonna go with that.

Patrick: Robin, I get the whole Scorpio-Devane mystery-solving gene, but I don't want you to get into the middle of something that you can't get out of.

Maxie: You're going to pick my wedding date?

Kate: Well, of course. I can't plan the build for a wedding if I don't have the date. Now, the groom will need an immediate makeover.

Maxie: I like Spinelli just the way he is.

Kate: Yes, Maxie, but I'm not so sure our readers will. Lulu, you can start making the appointments. There's a great deal of work to do. Now, the shower, it should be someplace high-end. I’m thinking maybe a museum in the city. You can call on the clearances. Call Federico, tell him we'll be interested in his new men's line. The bachelor party--I'm U on the Upper East Side. I think we're gonna do everything very collegian, very new normal.

Spinelli: Uh, excuse me. Um, Stone Cold will be--will be miserable at all those events just described.

Kate: Yes, if you're referring to Jason Morgan, he won't be invited to any of the events, including the wedding.

Spinelli: I’m sorry, but I must protest.

Kate: Let's see, the showers will be in November. Uh, we'll do a series of wedding dresses in December, and then the event itself will be in January.

Maxie: Are you serious? In the middle of winter in upstate New York? What if we have a blizzard?

Kate: Oh, Maxie, don't be silly. We're not getting married in Port Charles. Who wants to get married in Port Charles, especially after what happened to me. No, we're gonna have the travel editor scout some locations, and I'm thinking maybe Australia or the Caribbean.

Maxie: But then our friends and family would not be able to go.

Kate: Yes, Maxie, well, we all have to make some sacrifices.

Spinelli: Okay. With all due respect, my Maximista will have her wedding when and where she desires.

Kate: Mr. Spinelli, any other junior editor would be honored, and I'm sure that Maxie wants to help promote--

Maxie: I am honored, I just don't see--

Kate: Okay, then there's no problem, is there?

Kate: Lulu, I will need a preliminary budget and location bids by the end of the day tomorrow. And, Maxie, I will need 30 wedding dresses from you by the end of the day tomorrow.

Maxie: You're going to approve my wedding dress?

Kate: Approve it? I'm gonna pick it.

Maxie: Okay, I don't think so. I'm sorry, Kate. I'm honored that you would like to feature our wedding in Crimson, but it's just not going to work.

Kate: And why isn't my idea going to work, Maxie?

Maxie: Because we've... already picked a date.

Lulu: You did?

Maxie: September...21st.

[Knock on door]

Olivia: Hey. Mmm.

Johnny: So greedy.

Olivia: Mm. What can I say? I'm happy to see you.

Johnny: So, you are okay with me showing up here this time of night?

Olivia: I am more than okay with you showing up here anytime you want. You hungry?

Johnny: No, don't go putting a meal on the table. All right?

Olivia: Right.

Johnny: It's been a long night, and I just want to be here with you. I like being with you.

Olivia: Same here.

Diane: Look, once again, Mr. Pirelli, I appreciate your caution, but I cannot help you if you won't talk to me. If you need proof that I work for Sonny Corinthos, I can happily provide that for you.

Dominic: Oh--oh, the bodyguard, Max? Right. He's a lucky man.

Diane: Yeah, okay, so if Max's position is the bodyguard, then what is your position?

Dominic: [Laughs] I'm a longshoreman.

Diane: Right. I'll see what I can do.

Dominic: All right.

Mac: Why did that take so long?

Diane: Better question--why is my client still in handcuffs? Because as of this moment, I have seen no evidence of any wrongdoing on his part.

Louise: Louise Addison, assistant district attorney.

Dominic: Oh, uh, Dominic Pirelli.

Louise: Diane Miller's good, but she's not good enough to beat you being caught with a saleable amount of drugs. Give me something on Sonny Corinthos and maybe we can make a deal. If not, drug charges can well lead to federal time, so it's up to you, Mr. Pirelli.

Dominic: Do you have a pen?

Louise: After you give me something on Corinthos.

Dominic: Oh, well, then get me my lawyer, because she'll get a pen, and then she'll have you for lunch. [Laughs]

Louise: Pen.

Dominic: Cool. Uh, write this down. 212...555... 0199. Call them, tell them you got me. See what they say.

Olivia: You know what's really nice about being here with you?

Johnny: What?

Olivia: I can just be right here in the moment. I don't think about the future, I don't think about the past.

Johnny: I know what you mean. Here's to that.

Olivia: Thank you. My cousin was just here, Connie, better known to you as Kate Howard, overachieving magazine editor.

Johnny: Hmm.

Olivia: And... she regrets walking away from who she really is. You know? She had these awesome parents that loved her so much. And I'll tell you what--whatever she gained on turning her back on her family could never make up for what she lost.

Johnny: Yeah. Sometimes I think about walking away from Claudia for good. I'll tell you, she's getting more and more self-destructive by the day.

Olivia: Is that what's bothering you?

Johnny: Yeah, I guess. Come here.

Olivia: Mm.

Johnny: Sonny sent me and the new guy, Dominic, the one that walked in on us, on a job tonight.

Olivia: Oh, yeah? So what happened?

Johnny: Well, we were... supposed to hijack this Zacchara drug shipment and torch it, right? But the cops ended up showing up, and--I don't know, it was weird--Dominic practically pushed me out of there. It was like he wanted to take the fall for the thing. Anyway, he ended up getting arrested.

[Olivia chokes, coughing]

Johnny: What's the problem?

[Olivia coughing]

Mac: Well, if it isn't Detective Dante Falconeri.

Dominic: Why don't you broadcast it, then you can pick me up off the pavement and listen to my mother cursing your name.

Louise: Your lieutenant is requesting that we let you go as a courtesy.

Dominic: Oh, well, did he also mention that I'm the best chance you're ever gonna have to bring down Sonny Corinthos?

Kristina: It won't work. It's too dangerous.

Michael: You got the money, right?

Kristina: Yes, but if this doesn't work, we're gonna make Jerry mad, and we might be worse off than we are now.

Michael: Then it better work. If we get split up, just head for the American consulate.

Kristina: It's too dangerous. It's a bad idea.

Michael: Well, you got a better one? Because I'm not staying here.

Kristina: Okay. Aah! Michael, help! Help!

Michael: Go, Kristina, run! Go now! Go!

Jerry: [Grunting]

[Grunting continues]
