Edward: Heads will roll for this.

Rebecca: It's just a misunderstanding.

Edward: No, it's another example of PCPD's gross incompetence. Organized crime plagues this city. And who do they arrest? Distinguished businessmen and an upstanding young woman. It's a travesty!

Rebecca: Oh, please calm down, Mr. Quartermaine.

Edward: Edward.

Rebecca: Edward.

Edward: I know you won't call me grandfather.

Rebecca: You to calm down.

Edward: No--I--I will not put up with this outrage.

Rebecca: Look, being locked up in here is not exactly how I want to spend my day either, but we're not fugitives. It's all gonna get straightened out.

Nikolas: Ah.

Edward: Oh, God, not him.

Nikolas: Well, it looks like Rebecca needed me after all.

[Engine fails to start]

Jason: An engine doesn't die for no reason while the car's in motion.

Sam: Wait, when's the last time you had it serviced?

Jason: [Sighs]

Sam: Sorry. I mean, of course you always keep it tuned up because you always maybe have to get out--uh, have an emergency. Like Kristina or Michael...

Jason: We're only hours behind. Let's go.

Sam: Uh, what's that?

Jason: I have no idea. But I bet I know who put it there.

Sam: Spinelli.

Jason: [Sighs]

Kristina: Hello? Anybody? What time do you open? It's all clear-- don't do that!

Michael: You need to be a lot cooler if we're ever gonna last on the run.

Kristina: Okay, Mr. Expert fugitive, this place is locked.

Michael: Like that's gonna stop us. Watch this.

Alexis: Carly, I need you to help me figure out where Michael might be hiding.

Carly: You don't give a damn about Michael. You only care about Kristina.

Alexis: All right, tell me where Sonny and Jason would be hiding, because that's probably where Michael may have taken Kristina.

Carly: Stop blaming Michael. He didn't cause Claudia's accident!

Alexis: Whatever he did or didn't do, he made it worse by running off with her!

Carly: No, you're the reason this is happening. You're trying to frame Michael because you're the one who ran Claudia off the road.

Alexis: [Sighs]

[Door opens]

Sonny: What the hell are you doing?

Claudia: Getting dressed.

Sonny: You canít.

Claudia: I could if you'd help me.

Sonny: It's too soon for you to be up.

Claudia: I don't want to stay in this room where they took our baby, Sonny. Why are you here?

Edward: This is an outrage. Our city is teeming with thugs and yet I'm the one locked up in a jail cell.

Rebecca: Watch out for your heart, Edward. You need to stay calm.

Nikolas: I'm sure that you wanted to make a good impression on Rebecca, but I doubt that taking her for a joyride in a stolen car was quite the way to do it.

Edward: I'd like to know who you're paying off to keep me in here.

Rebecca: Oh, he wouldn't do that, Edward.

Edward: Grandfather.

Nikolas: Except you're not her grandfather.

Edward: Look, why don't you leave? You're not needed here. In fact, as we speak, I'm sure that word has reached home and that our lawyers are working for our release. Oh, look, look, look! Here comes Lucky. So, what did you find out? Did you talk to Tracy?

Lucky: Yeah, the desk sergeant, she called your daughter to tell her what happened.

Edward: So, release us at once, all right?

Lucky: Well, Tracy asked us to tell you that, uh, and I quote, "oh, goody. Let them rot."

Sonny: I want out of here, but you're still recovering.

Claudia: I...our baby died inside of me. How do you recover from that?

Sonny: I meant the surgery. They cut your head open. You're still healing.

Claudia: I need to get away from here. These four walls are just a constant reminder that... our baby died. That, you know, when I came in here, there was a life inside of me, and now, nothing. He was gonna... fix everything. He was gonna make everything right in my life, everything that was wrong. Instead, I had to watch his heart beat slower and slower...

Sonny: Hey, you know what? I know I could have done things differently. I just want to say I'm sorry about that.

Claudia: Well, you don't have to apologize. Just... just be honest with me. I mean, why are you really here?

Alexis: Why don't we just admit that I'm worried about my daughter the same as you are about your son. So why don't we just pool our resources to bring our children home, rather than stand here and make baseless accusations--

Carly: You're worried that if Michael doesn't come back, someone is going to find out who really caused the accident.

Jax: You need to stay calm.

Carly: I'm calm. You know what? I'm just sick and tired of hearing about Alexis' integrity when she has a history of lies and criminal acts. How about Stefan and Katherine Bell? You didn't want them together.

Alexis: Honestly, I don't have time for this.

Carly: Or when you stabbed Luis Alcazar and pushed him over the balcony. You walked away from that murder conviction because you pleaded insanity.

Alexis: I give up. This is a waste of time.

Carly: How about your affair with Mayor Floyd and all your pathetic and desperate emails to the man? Have you solved his dead secretary's murder yet? Have you?!

Jax: Carly, please, this is not helping us find Michael and Kristina.

Carly: Fine! I am just trying--

Jax: Shh.

Carly: I am just trying to say...that Alexis is clearly capable of railroading Michael to cover her tracks.

Alexis: [Sighs]

Jason: It looks like something from one of Spinelli's stupid computer games.

Sam: Uh, you know what, Jason? I did notice a couple weeks ago that he was studying up on hybrid technology.

Jason: He's been on me about a hybrid SUV.

Sam: Yup. And guess what. It looks like he turned your SUV into a homemade hybrid. Sorry.

Jason: [Sighs]

Lulu: Do something.

Maxie: Like what?

Lulu: Whatever it takes to stop Spinelli from asking Mac for your hand in marriage.

Mac: Forensics needs to go over the Corinthos accident report again and again until they come up with something more substantial than old chewing gum.

Spinelli: If the proud patriarch could perhaps spare a moment?

Mac: Not now, Spinelli. Lucky, did you get that information I asked for?

Spinelli: But this is critical. It's critically important. See, you being the father figure to Maximista, and me being her humble and--

Mac: I said--I said not now. In fact, not ever.

Spinelli: If I could just perhaps explain--

Lucky: Edward Quartermaine wants to sue the department.

Mac: Great. Tell him to wait in line. I need this like a hole in the head.

Spinelli: It's really--it's just a simple but life-altering question, that's all.

Mac: No. Whatever it is, the answer is no.

Spinelli: But--please. It's a matter of the heart regarding myself and your lovely daughter.

Lulu: Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Maxie: I--I don't know what to do. There's just way too much pressure.

Lulu: Oh, please, you lie all the time.

Mac: What about you and Maxie?

Spinelli: Well...sir, uh... when--uh, a young couple reaches a certain point, reaches a fork in the road, and in order to move forward, certain noble rules of ritual must be observed.

Lulu: He better hurry.

Spinelli: So I stand before you...seeking permission--

Mac: Permission for what?

Maxie: No!

Mac: Maxie, what happened?

Maxie: [Coughing]

Mac: Are you hurt? Holster your weapons.

Spinelli: Maximista, your presence here is a surprise, albeit a fortuitous one. Um... perhaps fair Lulu can shed some light on the situation?

Lulu: I haven't got a clue.

Mac: Maxie, why did you scream?

Maxie: [Clears throat] Uh, that.

Mac: My tie? You screamed at my tie?

Maxie: Yes! What were you thinking? Did you even look at yourself in the mirror when you walked out of the house this morning?

Mac: I like my tie.

Maxie: Okay. Well, it sets men's accessories back decades. Not that I would expect you to be fashionable, although it would be nice, considering my position. But the people of this town deserve for their public representatives to look at least halfway decent, right, Spinelli?

Spinelli: Uh...I--I shall refrain from com--

Maxie: Take a look at Lucky here. I mean, he doesn't look like a throwback from a seventies television show.

Lucky: Thanks.

Mac: Listen to me, all of you. I don't know what's going on here, but I have two cases pending involving this city's major powerbrokers, and, Maxie, I know when you're yanking my chain. So either tell me what's going on, or you need to leave.

Spinelli: I think I could perhaps enlighten the apoplectic one.

Mac: In English.

Maxie: I think that we will come back when all of your crimes are solved.

Spinelli: No, I can lay everyone's fears to rest in short order. See, I just-- I--I came here today to ask-- [Cell phone ringing] Um, to--to ask you, sir-- it's Stone Cold.

Maxie: Oh! You should go get that.

Spinelli: Uh...'tis I, the Jackal.

Jason: Spinelli, what did you do to my car? The car stopped and when I looked under the hood, I found this--this hybrid thing that you installed.

Spinelli: Stone Cold, yes, uh, normally I--I would--I would relish a chat with you, but the, um, uh, the time is a little inconvenient.

Jason: Uh, no, it's not. My car stopped in the middle of nowhere. I need you to tell me how to get this contraption off my engine.

Spinelli: Ah. Yes, that--that device is one of my own designs. See, it's intended to elevate Stone Cold's mileage from an ozone-killing 11 miles per gallon to a jaw-dropping 34, so if Stone Cold could just be patient with it, I'm sure he'll get accustomed to the change. And Mother Nature will be oh, so grateful.

Jason: Right now, my car is getting zero miles per gallon because it's dead! Okay? Sam and I need to go find Michael and Kristina.

Spinelli: Oh. Ah, fair Samantha's with you. That-- that makes me smile.

Jason: Even Sam can't figure it out, and she's good with engines.

Sam: Oh, sweet of you to notice. Spinelli, come on! We gotta get out of here!

Spinelli: Yes, uh, of course. Um, that shouldn't be a problem at all. Theoretically speaking.

Jason: Spinelli, you rigged this thing. Do not tell me you don't know how to fix it.

Michael: Oh, those were some good fish tacos.

Kristina: I saw tortillas and fish, and I figured if they had cheese and salsa, we'd be fine. I also know how to make a really good spaghetti and meatball. Viola taught me.

Michael: One more thing you learned how to do when I was in a coma.

Kristina: I learned a long time ago. Don't you cook?

Michael: I never had to. Dad was a genius at it.

Kristina: Yeah, but it'd be something you guys could do together, you know, like a bonding thing?

Michael: Is that why you learned, for Dad?

Kristina: That would be stupid, wouldn't it? I mean, Dad doesn't have time to cook with me. So, when did you learn how to pick a lock?

Michael: Uh, Max. He's full of useful information that he likes to pass along. Between everything we know, I'm sure we'll do fine out here alone.

Kristina: I suppose. Unless running away is a mistake.

Michael: Kids run away. What we're doing is heading out on our own. And it's the only choice for me after what I've done.

Kristina: And you're still positive it was you who caused the accident?

Michael: This thing happens to me when I get mad, Kristina. I can't think. Claudia got forced off the road, I didn't stop, and her baby ended up dead.

Kristina: But nobody saw it, including you. I'm just saying that--

Michael: I'm sure there's plenty of people who wish I had never woke up from a coma, you know? But since that's impossible, leaving Port Charles is the right thing to do.

Kristina: So, other than that, do you have anything resembling a plan?

Alexis: Do you really want to compare regrettable actions, Carly? 'Cause you got a long list--

Carly: Bring it on, Alexis!

Jax: Alexis, please do not do that. No.

Alexis: You're right. I don't want to upset you, don't want to upset the baby. So let's start again, mother to mother.

Carly: All right, mother to mother. Michael's car was not at the scene.

Alexis: Oh, God.

Carly: It was a light-colored hybrid, kind of like the car that you drive.

Alexis: I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but do you honestly think that I would run a pregnant woman off the road, leave her there, and try to frame her teenage son for it?

Jax: No. I donít.

Carly: Okay. You know, you may not have set out to frame Michael, but when he mistakenly confessed, you were more than happy to--

Alexis: All I want to do is bring our children home. Will you please get her to cooperate?

Carly: Get me to cooperate? Are you kidding me?

Jax: All right. I will call you if we hear from them, okay?

[Door slams]

Carly: You could have taken my side!

Jax: I am on your side!

Carly: Really? Because it didn't feel like it.

Sonny: You, uh... you haven't even begun to deal with losing the baby.

Claudia: Oh, I'm dealing. I'm dealing, till it hurts. I just can't seem to... accept it, that's all. You know? I just can't accept that I'm never gonna see his face. And I'm never gonna... get to hold him or have his little tiny hand around my finger. Our son didn't even have a name, Sonny.

Sonny: I know that you must be going through hell, and the only thing I can tell you is that I understand what you're feeling, 'cause I--I grieved for a son.

Claudia: Michael's alive, Sonny.

Sonny: You don't think I'm grieving for our son, too?

Claudia: I don't know. Are you? Are you? Are you just saying what I want to hear so that I don't I.D. Michael as the one who caused all this?

Nikolas: I can have you out of here in 10 minutes.

Rebecca: No, I can't leave Edward here.

Edward: You know, Rebecca has been in this family for less than 24 hours, and she has already shown more loyalty than Tracy. Even as we speak, my sad excuse for a daughter has manipulated a corporate takeover before we've even had our daily serving of gruel here.

Rebecca: It's unfair. She's punishing you because she hates me.

Edward: Don't you worry about that, dear. I'll get even with Tracy. I always do.

Rebecca: This has happened before?

Nikolas: Oh. Could I count the ways. Really, go ahead, take a good look at the loving family you just decided to move in with.

Edward: I hope you won't use this unfortunate incident as a way to woo her back to your gothic rock pile. Hey! Remove this blackguard from my place at once.

Lucky: Why? Nikolas hasn't broken any laws, and apparently, neither have you.

Edward: Well, then, who do we thank for this outrage?

Lucky: Your great-grandson.

Edward: Michael?

Lucky: Yeah. There's an APB out on his car right now. Apparently he switched his plates with yours so he'd have enough time to get away.

Edward: He did? Oh. Ha ha. He did. Well...[Laughs] That kid is a-- a true Quartermaine through and through.

Lucky: Yeah, and a wanted fugitive.

Jason: Ow! Can you--can you just ask him where to start.

Sam: Spinelli, where do we start?

Spinelli: Ah. Okay, uh, trace the red wire from the device to the battery.

Sam: Trace the red wire from the device to the battery.

Spinelli: No, no, no! Uh, wait. I'm sorry. Uh, yeah, okay. Um, make it the--make it the vermillion one.

Sam: [Groans] Wait. Make it the vermillion one.

Jason: The--the vermillion?

Spinelli: Yeah, yeah, that's the one.

Sam: Yeah, cut the vermillion one.

Jason: What is vermillion?

Sam: I think it's the red one.

Jason: There are 10 wires. They're all red.

Sam: They're all red, Spinelli.

Spinelli: Tell Stone Cold that there are subtle distinctions in hue.

Sam: You know what? I would rather tell him which one to cut.

Jason: You know, I'm gonna cut 'em all.

Sam: No, no, no, don't do that!

Spinelli: If he doesn't cut them in order, the engine will be permanently disabled.

Sam: You can't do that.

Jason: Okay, give me the phone. Hey, Spinelli, you listen to me. I want you to tell me how to fix this in order.

Spinelli: Okay, it's about--it's about sequencing--

Jason: It's 95 degrees in the shade. With every color choice, Michael and Kristina are getting further away, so you tell me which wire I cut first.

Spinelli: Um...

Jason: Now!

Spinelli: I'm thinking.

Sonny: Here's the thing. Jason doesn't believe it was Michael who drove you off the road.

Claudia: He confessed.

Sonny: Carly was there. She's positive it wasn't Michael's car.

Claudia: But you're not.

Sonny: [Sighs, clears throat] Look, I know that Michael's already paid for other people's mistakes, my mistakes, and he lost a year of his life 'cause of violence that was aimed at me. And my first... reaction was... revenge.

Claudia: Revenge... only brings more violence.

Sonny: I just want this whole thing to be...over. Can you just back up Carly's story, like you said you would?

[Door opens]

Alexis: I'm really sorry to bother you right now... and my condolences to both of you.

Sonny: It's not a--

Alexis: This is about two of your children. Michael's taken Kristina and run.

Jax: Carly, you know I love Michael, and I'll help him any way I can.

Carly: I'm not hearing you say he's innocent, Jax. Why?

Jax: Well, it's kind of hard when he confessed. And now he's run away.

Carly: Of course he ran. He spent his whole life watching Jason and Sonny being persecuted by the cops.

Jax: Are you saying they're innocent, too?

Carly: We're getting off-track here, you know? We need to focus on Michael. And I swear to you, Jax, I am not seeing what I want to see, I--he's innocent.

Jax: All right, well, Michael almost collided with someone on Harbor View Road just after 9:00.

Carly: It wasn't Claudia.

Jax: In your first statement, you said that you were so focused on Claudia's crash that you didn't see the car that ran her off the road.

Carly: No, no.

Jax: When you change your story, it doesn't--it's--

Carly: I didn't say that!

Jax: It's not very believable, Carly.

Carly: I didn't say that. I said that it was a small, light-colored car. I need you to believe me, Jax.

Jax: No, no, I believe you.

Carly: Thank you.

Jax: You know, I might have a way to prove it.

Tracy: Alice!

Alice: What?!

Tracy: You know, I really ought to replace you with someone who brings me a martini when I ask for a martini!

Alice: I hope you don't choke on an olive.

Tracy: Why don't you save the scowl for the wrestling ring?

Alice: For your information, I've given up wrestling for now. I happen to be spending time writing my memoirs.

Tracy: [Laughs] Oh, I can hardly wait.

Alice: You're gonna want to read chapter 10, 11, and 12, I'll tell you. And I can't wait for you to read chapter 14. Then we'll see who's laughing. You know, and you're gonna be sorry when Mr. Q. gets out of lockup.

Tracy: Well, hopefully by then, Rebecca will have taught him what trailer trash truly looks like.

Alice: Have you even considered that you could be wrong about that girl?

Tracy: Alice, I'm married to a con artist. I can smell a hustle at a mile. That girl reeks of it.

Edward: Thank you, Alice. Have you noticed how bitter Tracy has become since Luke left?

Alice: You know, I have. You'd think she'd be used to it by now.

Edward: Well, I think he's looking for greener pastures, and I can't blame him.

Tracy: Ohh. Now my day is truly complete. You went whining to a Cassadine to get yourself out of jail.

Nikolas: No, not at all, actually.

Edward: If you had done your daughterly duty, then--

Rebecca: Oh, actually, I'd like to thank Tracy for not bailing us out. I think the extra time just gave Edward and I a real chance to bond. How can I ever thank you?

Sam: Here. It's not exactly cold, but it's all we've got.

Jason: Okay, thanks. I think that's it.

Sam: Wow. You reattached the electrical to the battery. Nice job.

Jason: Let's see if it works.

Sam: Well, it better work, 'cause I really could use some air conditioning right about now.

Jason: All right. Here we go.

[Engine fails to start]

Sonny: I picked up a message from Jason. He asked me not to tell you that Michael was gone 'cause he didn't want to get you upset, but Alexis told me that you already know.

Carly: Yeah, okay.

Sonny: Right.

Carly: I cannot believe that Michael thinks this is his only option.

Sonny: Jason's gonna find him, and he's the best person to, you know, talk him into coming home. Michael will turn his life around. He's just gotta stop getting in all this trouble.

Carly: You think Michael caused Claudia's accident.

Sonny: I really haven't had time to think. It's, you know.

Carly: How's Claudia?

Sonny: I caught her trying to leave the hospital.

Carly: It's kind of tough to stay there and look at those four walls.

Sonny: That's what she said. I should have never bought Michael that car.

Carly: Okay, look. You know what? There's enough blame to go around. I shouldn't have gotten him the license before he was ready. But we didn't cause the accident, Sonny. Neither did Michael. I was there. I saw the car that ran Claudia off the road.

Sonny: Wasn't it dark, Carly?

Carly: I think you want Michael to be guilty... so you have another reason to blame yourself.

[Door opens]

Mac: If Carly lies to protect Michael, it's perjury.

Jax: I understand that, Mac.

Mac: Then I'm not sure I understand what you're asking me to do.

Jax: I'm asking you to look at this as a father.

Spinelli: Well, there's no doubt that at this time Stone Cold has de-greened the mob-mobile and has resumed his journey. It's-- it's quite a loss, environmentally speaking. The Jackal may well have produced a prototype that could have substantially enhanced our wounded ecosystem.

Maxie: That's kind of superhero-ish, isn't it? The man I adore trying to save the world. Why don't we go somewhere so you can show me what you're talking about?

Spinelli: Actually, I would like to, but my mission here remains unfinished. I need to ask Mac for your hand.

Lulu: Oh, Spinelli--uh--uh-- wait. This is a...bad idea. What if Mac says no?

Maxie: Oh, my God. He could totally do that.

Lulu: Yeah. And you know how much Maxie loves Mac. Why would you want to put her in a position like that?

Maxie: [Sighs]

Jax: Look, Mac, I know that Carly's been known to bend the truth from time to time, but she swears the car she saw wasn't Michaelís.

Mac: Jax, I can't run this case based on what could be Carly's wishful thinking. I need sub--

Diane: You need proof? Well, I may be able to help you with that.

Jax: I was beginning to think you changed your mind.

Diane: I'm sure by the time this is all over, I will wish I had. I have a very good friendship riding on this.

Jax: So do I.

Mac: Will someone tell me what's going on?

Diane: Court order for both vehicles currently registered to Alexis Davis to be inspected for evidence pertaining to the Claudia Corinthos accident.

Mac: Are you sure you want to do this?

Diane: Wasn't Alexis your prime suspect before the very questionable confession by Michael, which was obtained without benefit of counsel, might I add.

Mac: I'm just saying Alexis is going through a tough time right now.

Jax: All we're asking is that you let forensics look at Alexis' cars. It could rule her out as a suspect and it probably will.

Michael: We should go. There's-- someone's gonna be looking for us, anyway.

Kristina: Are you sure we should go to Mexico?

Michael: Well, everyone's gonna assume we're going to Canada, so we should go down south instead.

Kristina: What about money?

Michael: Are you always this negative?

Kristina: I'm practical. I like to plan ahead and know what's where.

Michael: Look, I'll get a job somewhere. I learned enough Spanish from Leticia to get by. And you can get a job, too. Making fish tacos.

Kristina: Ha. If you think I'm going to get a job to support you, get over it.

Michael: All right, look, I'll sell the car once we get there. It's worth a lot of money. And I can drive a boat. I learned on the island.

Kristina: I'm pretty sure Dad didn't expect you to turn that into a profession.

Michael: Well, it's one of the few marketable skills I have, so don't criticize.

Kristina: It's gonna be weird.

Michael: Look, I'm not gonna be mad at you if you just don't want to do this.

Kristina: Why would I leave now?

Michael: You're not the one who woke up from a coma with anger issues. You're not the one who has a mom who could die if she gets too upset. You didn't run Claudia off the road and kill your unborn baby brother.

[Glass breaks]

Michael: Hey, what's--

Kristina: I'm sorry.

Michael: What's the matter? What's the matter? What'd I say? What happened?

Tracy: Why would I trust a con artist?

Edward: You should have seen Rebecca. She was a rock. She's a real credit to this family.

Tracy: Oh, just like the punk Michael.

Nikolas: Don't forget, Michael's mother's a Spencer, just like your husband.

Alice: You know, that's a good point. You should be nicer to that kid, for Mr. Luke's sake.

Edward: He is a true Quartermaine if I've ever seen one.

Tracy: Yeah, he was raised by a Corinthos.

Nikolas: Welcome to the family. I hope you can handle it.

Tracy: If you can't, you know where the door is.

Nikolas: Okay, great. Uh, I know that you're really enjoying this cute little reunion over here, but could I tempt you to go out with me for a little while?

Edward: Absolutely not.

Rebecca: I'd love to.

Tracy: Ooh! Cassadines 1-nothing.

Carly: I'm sorry. I know you're dealing with losing the baby, and I'm really sorry. Sonny, Michael didn't cause the accident. I was there. I would stake my life on it.

Sonny: If you're right... I went over to see Michael at the Quartermaines and I unloaded on him about everything-- endangering your life, Claudia's life. I even said he caused the baby's death.

Carly: [Sighs]

Sonny: Instead of giving him love and support, I attacked him. So I can guarantee you right now, Michael took off because of that. And he's with his sister. So, bottom line... I failed both of my children again.

Michael: So, do you want to tell me what that whole meltdown was all about?

Kristina: I'm sorry. I probably haven't slept for about 24 hours. And when I think about how bad all this is for Dad and Claudia and you...

Michael: I'll be fine. And, you know, Dad'll be okay if I'm not around for him to worry about. And Mom will have a rough time at first, but it'd be worse if she had to sit through that hearing, or whatever was gonna happen to me. You know, once she's had her baby, things'll be different.

Kristina: You've really thought this through.

Michael: But your life doesn't have to change. I can drop you off at the bus stop. You can tell people that you were trying to find me but that I was way ahead of you. Seriously, you don't have to get mixed up in all this.

Kristina: I know I should be scared or nervous or something, but being in the car with you, breaking into this place, doing what we want, I don't feel like I have to prove myself to anyone. It feels free.

Michael: Well, I mean, what about school? You've always been the smartest person I know.

Kristina: School's just another way to please my mom.

Michael: [Sighs]

Kristina: Maybe this time I can do what I want.

Michael: Well, I'm the fugitive. You don't have to do any of this.

Kristina: We're in this together, Michael. Wherever you go, I'm right there with you.

Jason: [Grunts]

Sam: Spinelli meant well. You do know that, Jason. Right?

Jason: Hey, try again.

[Engine fails to start]

Jason: Oh, God.

Sam: Come on, can't we just call the auto club, please?

Jason: The auto club will take at least an hour to get out here. It's gonna take me an hour to explain what Spinelli did. And they might not be able to fix it anyway.

Sam: Yeah, but by the time we get out there, we can get on the road and just go get another car. [Laughing] Wouldn't it be ironic if we wound up...dying of heatstroke? I mean, I--it would be--okay, maybe--maybe not. Maybe it would be a little funny, and a little ironic, I guess.

Jason: Am I missing something here?

Sam: I think maybe you are. Why don't we try something? I think... you, my friend, are trying too hard.

Jason: Huh.

Sam: Yeah, really. You know what I learned...doing salvage work? [Chuckles] First of all, don't be afraid to get dirty. And second, if what you're working on doesn't yield results, you're probably working on the wrong thing.

Jason: Good. Let me try it.

Sam: Okay. You know, I remember one night, my boat broke down. And I was trying to fix it, and I was there all night long. Guess what. It turned out it had nothing to do with the engine at all. [Sighs] All right, I think now I'll chill out.

[Ignition cranking]

[Bell dings]

[Engine starts]

Sam: Whoo! Yes!

Jason: Let's go!

Sam: Well, you locked me out.

Jason: Get in.

Sam: Sweet.

Jason: Let's go.

Mac: Both D.A. Davis' cars are in the garage with S.I.D. They'll let us know as soon as they have a preliminary analysis.

Jax: Does Alexis know yet?

Alexis: Would you mind telling me what's going on here?

Diane: That would be a yes.

Alexis: Why would you go to Judge Jameson without telling me?

Jax: That was my idea.

Alexis: And you?

Diane: As Michael's attorney, I owe him due diligence, no matter how much I might respect--

Alexis: You do owe him due diligence, so give it to him, because he confessed. And God forbid, if he did it, then Carly is perjuring herself.

Jax: Oh, I don't agree with that.

Spinelli: Uh...

Lulu: Uh, Mac is--is getting busier by the minute. Which means he will not want to be bothered by anything non-department-related, which makes it more likely that he would say no. And then what would you do?

Maxie: Yeah, yeah. And then I would have to defy Mac, and do you know how awful that would make me feel?

Lulu: So it's obvious the best solution is to wait for a better time.

Spinelli: The original blond one has given sound advice. I...I'll wait for a more propitious time, and after all, I've already wooed and won the girl. I can be patient.

Lulu: All right, well, get out of here before he knows what you guys are up to.

[Maxie mouthing silently]

Jax: Look, Michael's confused and upset, okay? He's been through a lot. And I also believe my wife when she says that she saw a light-colored compact.

Mac: As soon as S.I.D. clears Alexis' cars, we can be done with this and you can move on.

Lucky: This came from the garage. Forensics found something.

Sam: Oh, yes. I am starving! Yum! Hey, you're not still mad at Spinelli, are you?

Jason: Where the heck is everybody?

Sam: I don't know. Oh, my gosh, you know what I'm thinking? If Maxie actually accepts his proposal, I bet you he's going to ask you to be his best man. [Laughs] That's funny.

Jason: You missed some right-- right there.

Sam: Oh. Oh, my God, they're gonna move into that hideous pink room. I bet you.

Jason: You know what? Don't even joke about that.

Sam: Oh, come on, where's your sense of romance, really? Did I get it?

Jason: No. It's right...

Carly: Jason will find Michael and bring him home.

Sonny: Then what? A daughter I barely know and a son I keep hurting?

Carly: All right, Sonny. You know what? Let's just get him home and we'll worry about the rest then, okay?

Sonny: You know, Michael is one of the greatest gifts of my life, thanks to you. Why was I so quick to blast him?

Carly: He'll be back. Okay? You know, he will be back, and we'll get him through this together. But let's not forget that Michael's made some mistakes here.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Carly: He was angry behind the wheel. He was speeding and he had a near collision. It wasn't Claudia, but it was someone.

Sonny: Okay, if what you're saying is true and we prove it... how do we reach Michael to tell him? He's out there with Kristina...running around for no reason at all. What if something happens to them... before we bring them home?

[Machines beeping]

Claudia: Got it. Thank you. Thank you so much, Uncle Rudy. I'm trying. I am. I know, and I-- I will have justice for my baby. That's why I called you right away. Grazie. Prego. I bet you're surprised to hear from me. Well, don't forget, I have... powerful friends and relatives. I'm sure you've been keeping tabs. The baby is, no, not fine. Um, the baby is no more, because Michael Corinthos got behind the wheel of a car and drove me... drove me into a ditch. I don't know how he feels about it, because he's run away. You know what that's like, don't you, Jerry?

Jerry: And why go to all the trouble of finding me to give me this update?

Claudia: I want you to find Michael.

Jerry: Oh. And, tell me, darling, what am is supposed to do with my step-nephew when I find him?

Claudia: Bring him to me.

Mac: Hey, Dale.

Dale: Oh.

Mac: What have we got?

Dale: Well, we went over the other hybrid, and it's clean. But this one--there's a small scrape at the back of the bumper which is concurrent with a brush against another car. Right there. We pulled a paint chip for the lab. It looks like the same color match for the car that Claudia Corinthos was driving the night of the accident.

Lucky: This car made contact with Claudia's?

Dale: Well, it made contact with some other vehicle.

Lucky: Thank you. Why don't you put a rush on the analysis of that paint chip?

Dale: Mm-hmm.

Mac: So, which car were you driving that night, Alexis? You mentioned other people had access to your car. Viola. Who else?

Alexis: It was me. Consider this a formal confession. I ran Claudia's car off the road.
