Morgan: Mom? Mom, it's okay. I'm gonna get you help, Mom. Mom, it's okay. Mom?

Jax: Morgan? What happened?

Morgan: Mom fainted. I can't wake her up, and 911 isn't answering.

Jax: Okay. Carly? Hey.

Morgan: It's a recording now. They're saying to wait.

Jax: All right, well, stay on the phone until somebody answers, then hand it to me, okay? Carly, can you hear me? Hey. Carly.

Kristina: You okay? You just, like, turned green.

Michael: No, I did something that proves I'm damaged and dangerous.

Kristina: What are you talking about? That stupid fight with Kiefer?

Michael: No, something much worse. I was driving my car to Jake's, and some ass cut me off, so I went nuts. I went speeding after him, yelling my head off, totally not paying attention to the road, and I took a turn too wide, and there was this car I almost hit head-on. It had to be Claudia. I think I caused her accident.

[Knock on door]

Jason: I'm sorry to bother you so late, but Sonny wanted me to speak to you about--

Olivia: I'm not interested in any messages from Sonny.

Jason: He actually wanted to tell you this face to face, but he needs to stay at the hospital with Claudia. She's in really bad shape. And the baby may not make it.

Claudia: I'm not gonna put my baby at risk.

Robin: I understand how you feel, but the dipraxaline is the safest treatment for your head trauma.

Claudia: You just said that it could cause me to miscarry.

Kelly: It may.

Patrick: Statistics show it's the safest treatment for your condition.

Sonny: Hold on. Are you order for my wife to live, my son has to die?

Michael: I was driving way too fast. I crossed over to the wrong side of the road. I'm the reason why Claudia crashed her car. And now she could lose the baby.

Kristina: Will you please stop assuming the worst. All we know is the car swerved to avoid hitting you. Did you see the make and the model?

Michael: No, I kept driving, like a coward.

Kristina: Then you don't even know if the car crashed or if Claudia was in it.

Michael: She was at the point, exactly where I was. And we were both there around the same time.

Kristina: Are you sure you were still on Harbor View? Maybe you turned onto Oak Bluff or Adams. The driver who made Claudia crash could have easily been...

Michael: Who? Do you know anyone else who was at the point tonight, driving way too fast?

Diane: Commissioner. My client categorically denies any involvement with Claudia Corinthos' car accident this evening, however, in the interest of finding the guilty party, we will be happy to answer any and all questions that you may have at this time.

Mac: Good, because there's a few things we'd like to clear up.

Alexis: Go right ahead. I have nothing to hide.

Lucky: You were at the accident site before my partner and I arrived. So, how did you know?

Alexis: I already told you. I--

Diane: My client was driving along Harbor View Road. She saw emergency lights outside the home of her friend Jasper Jacks. She stopped out of concern, as she's already told you.

Lucky: Well, a witness states that the car that forced Mrs. Corinthos off the road was a small, light-colored vehicle. Ms. Davis, you drive a white hybrid?

[Diane laughs]

Diane: As if that's incriminating. A lot of people drive small cars.

Mac: We'd like to hear D.A. Davis' response.

Alexis: Mac, I didn't force anyone off the road.

Lucky: And why were you driving on Harbor View tonight?

Andrea: I see you have her in custody. Ms. Davis has been stalking my husband. She is a dangerously unbalanced woman.

Mac: Mrs. Floyd, if you'd like to wait in my office--

Andrea: D.A. Davis came to my home, demanded to see my husband, begging him to resume their affair.

Alexis: That is a lie.

Diane: As your attorney, I'm going to advise you to remain silent.

Lucky: What time did D.A. Davis leave you and Mayor Floyd?

Andrea: It was around 9:00. She was hysterical, speeding and weaving onto Harbor View. It's a miracle she didn't hit anyone.

Jax: My wife is unconscious. She's 5 1/2 months pregnant, and she has a clotting disorder called ZBT. How long ago did she pass out?

Morgan: Not very long. Maybe 5 minutes.

Jax: 5 minutes ago. No, no, I haven't moved her, but if the ambulance doesn't get here soon, I'll have to take her in myself.

Morgan: Mom was fine. She got up to put me to bed and fainted.

Jax: Did she say she was dizzy or feeling sick?

Morgan: No, nothing like that.

Jax: Okay.

Morgan: Is Mom gonna die?

Jax: No. No, no, no, Morgan. She's gonna be fine. She's gonna be fine.

[Siren approaching]

Olivia: I'm sorry. Sonny and Claudia must be going through hell right now, but it's really none of my business.

Jason: But Sonny wanted me to explain to you.

Olivia: Sonny doesn't owe me any explanations. Okay? Anything that he needs to say, he can call me tomorrow, okay?

Jason: You know Claudia was in a serious car accident?

Olivia: Yes, I know. I--I happened to be in the same room with her brother when he got the call, so it’s...terrible.

Jason: Yeah. But Sonny wanted me to tell you that... he's certain the baby is his. And regardless of his feelings for you, his obligation is to his child and his family.

Claudia: Is the baby okay?

Kelly: We need to decide on a treatment as soon as possible, for the baby's sake as well as yours.

Sonny: You said there was another course of treatment. What is it?

Patrick: Claudia, I have to emphasize, dipraxaline is the safest treatment for you. It's not invasive--

Claudia: No. No. You said it can hurt the baby, and I'm not gonna do that. So, what are my options?

Patrick: Surgery. But you're running the risk and the dangers of any other brain operation. The risks would be impaired motor skills, respiration. In some cases it could be death. But barring any complications--

Johnny: No, no, no, forget it. Give her the medication.

Claudia: No.

Sonny: You're not helping, Johnny.

Johnny: Why are you gonna risk my sister's life for a baby you don't even want?

Alexis: That woman is... obviously lying.

Diane: So you weren't at Mayor Floyd’s house tonight?

Alexis: That part's true.

Diane: What? God! What on earth were you thinking, approaching Garrett Floyd at his house, no less, when you've been publicly accused of stalking him?

Alexis: In hindsight, that was dumb. Molly asked my why, when everyone was believing all this stuff about me, I didn't defend myself. So I thought I should go do something about it.

Diane: I'm sorry. I know that this whole ordeal has taken a terrible toll on you.

Alexis: You tell me, how is it possible that people in this town could believe that I would write such badly written emails? And my children are getting embarrassed with their friends.

Diane: Okay, okay, trust me, we will get to the bottom of those and clear your name. But right now, back to the Floyds. Why were you there tonight?

Alexis: Because I thought I could get him to at least admit that the emails were forged.

Diane: And what was his response?

Alexis: Well, I didn't get to talk to him. The crazy woman wouldn't let me see him. So I left.

Diane: Were you distraught?

Alexis: No!

Diane: All right, good. Now--now, hold that thought. Commissioner, there appears to be some discrepancy between my client's and Ms. Floyd's account of this evening's activities. So my suggestion is that we allow them both to go into the interrogation room and iron out their differences in private.

Andrea: I refuse to be subject to this woman's hysterics, thank you.

Alexis: Maybe a brief discussion would be--

Diane: No, don't engage. Don't engage. Don't engage. There's no point.

Lucky: Are you willing to sign a statement attesting to Ms. Davis' emotional state at the time she left your home?

Andrea: Absolutely. She is a menace to herself and others.

Kristina: Lots of people live out on the point. Anyone could have caused the accident.

Michael: How many people were driving on that stretch of road at that time of night?

Kristina: The club is on Harbor View. Do you know how many parents and kids go to the club to get hammered and then try to drive home? A drunk could have caused Claudia's accident.

Michael: Kristina, you're grasping at straws.

Kristina: But you still haven't answered the most basic question. Do you even know if you were on Harbor View when you swerved?

Michael: No. I mean, I was so mad at the guy who passed me and trying to catch up to him...we turned onto Oak Bluff or Adams? I don't even know.

Kristina: Then it's too soon to start blaming yourself.

Michael: You sound like Jason. He told me to keep quiet and let him take care of it.

Kristina: Then let him.

Michael: What about Dad? He's the one who got me the car. I can't lie to him.

Kristina: It's not lying to say nothing.

Michael: His wife is in the E.R. She could lose the baby. I have to tell them that it was me who ran her off the road.

Jax: This way. Morgan, get back and give them some room.

Morgan: Can you wake her up?

Paramedic: We'll do our best.

Jax: Come on.

Morgan: What's wrong with her?

Jax: She'll be fine. Give them some time, okay?

Paramedic: Pupils are reactive to light. Heart rate's 120.

Morgan: What's wrong with her?

Paramedic: Her respirations are becoming shallow. Let's go ahead and get her on the oxygen.

Morgan: Is she gonna be all right?

Jax: I don't know.

Paramedic: BP's 144 over 90. High blood pressure signs are increasing. Now it's 152 over 92.

Morgan: Why is Mom's blood pressure going up?

Jax: I don't know, Morgan, but I'm sure they're able to control it, okay?

Paramedic: We're almost ready to go.

Jax: Okay, we're riding with you.

Paramedic: I'm sorry, sir, you can’t. Children aren't allowed in the ambulance.

Jax: No, no, no. I'm not leaving my wife's side, and my son can't stay here alone.

Paramedic: All right, okay. All right.

Jax: Okay.

Olivia: Sonny's gonna be a father, and I respect that, and I'm glad he's doing the right thing. And I am praying for Claudia and the baby. Now, you need to go.

Jason: Well, when things settle down, he's gonna come talk to you.

Olivia: Sonny-- Sonny owes me nothing. I do not need or want to hear from him again. What are you doing?

Dominic: Oh, I'm calling Grandma. I'm not going back to Bensonhurst, you are.

Johnny: She is not gonna risk her life on a surgery she doesn't need.

Sonny: It's her choice, not yours. You want to argue, get the hell out of here.

Robin: Just stop. Everybody take a step back. Fighting is counterproductive.

Johnny: Okay, the medicine can help Claudia, so give it to her.

Claudia: I want the surgery.

Johnny: Claudia, you need to take this medicine. It can help you.

Claudia: There's no way I'm gonna do anything to hurt my baby. Do you understand? I'd rather have 50 surgeries.

Johnny: Okay, do you understand that this is brain surgery, that you could die, that there are a million things that could go wrong, it could impair you for life?

Claudia: Yeah, but Patrick’s the best. He got Michael and brought him back when everybody said that he couldn't do it. And he'll do the same thing for me, won't you?

Robin: Surgery is a big decision. Do you want to take a moment to think about it?

Sonny: We need to discuss it in private.

Johnny: There's nothing to discuss. What is the safest option for my sister?

Robin: Medication, absolutely. If Claudia were not pregnant, we would have started her on the dipraxaline already.

Patrick: And I don't want to pressure, but I need an answer soon.

Claudia: No. We don't need to discuss anything. I want the surgery. It’s...

Patrick: Fine. I'll prep O.R.

Johnny: Claudia, don't do this. Take the medication.

Claudia: No. I'm not going to do anything to hurt my baby.

Johnny: Your baby, Claudia? You can have another baby. It's not worth your life.

Robin: Patrick, you just sprained your finger. You can't perform surgery.

Patrick: I took an anti-inflammatory. It will be fine.

Epiphany: What surgery are we talking about?

Patrick: Claudia opted to have surgery to treat her head trauma. Prep O.R. 2. I want you and Elizabeth on the team.

Robin: All right. Hold on a second. Excuse me. Thank you. Give me your keys.

Patrick: Why do you want my keys?

Robin: Just give them to me. Pretend this is a scalpel and this is Claudia's head. Cut through the rind without damaging the inside.

Patrick: That's ridiculous. I said my finger's fine.

Robin: Humor me.

Patrick: That's a key.

Robin: And this isn't her head, lucky for Claudia.

[Telephone ringing]

Patrick: Schedule the surgery.

[Indistinct chatter over P.A.]

Olivia: I am not going back to Bensonhurst, and you don't get to tell me what to do with my life.

Dominic: What are you thinking, hooking up with Sonny Corinthos?

Olivia: I'm not hooked up with Sonny Corinthos.

Dominic: He's the married man you were just talking about, the one who's got you all tied up in knots.

Olivia: You're jumping to conclusions.

Dominic: Like hell I am. Look in my eyes and tell me I'm wrong. Go ahead, lie to me.

Olivia: You don't get to tell me what to do with my personal life.

Dominic: Sonny is in the hospital with his pregnant wife, and he's worried about you so much so that he sends Jason Morgan over here to tell you that he can't come by, but he will when he can?

Olivia: Okay. Okay. Maybe I didn't say no to Sonny forcefully enough, all right? Maybe I let him get the wrong idea. So...

Dominic: The wrong idea? Man, you--this is not an average gangster you're dealing with here. This is Sonny Corinthos. He owns the town.

Olivia: I--I know that. I figured that out for myself, all right?

Dominic: Then you ought to know that you're in danger, ma. This is not a world you want to be a part of.

Olivia: Nothing happened. Nothing will.

Dominic: Something already has.

Olivia: Nothing I can't handle.

Dominic: So this is why you came to Port Charles, huh, Ma? So you could get close to Sonny.

Elizabeth: Hey. Carly should be brought in any minute. Thank God Jax was home.

Jason: What do you mean? What happened to her?

Paramedic: She's been unconscious for the last 20 minutes. Her respirations are shallow, and her heartbeat's becoming irregular.

Kelly: What's her B.P.?

Paramedic: It's 178/100. She's becoming very unstable and hypertensive.

Jax: What's going on? Is it the ZBT?

Kelly: I'll need to examine her. Take her to the fourth floor for testing.

Paramedic: Sure.

Jason: What--what happened?

Jax: She collapsed at home. Apparently, she tried to save Claudia from a car wreck.

Morgan: Is Mom in a coma, like Michael was?

Alexis: Just give me one minute with her.

Diane: She's already refused.

Alexis: Since when does that stop you? I'm the client. I want 5 minutes with her.

Diane: Andrea Floyd is not going to do any favors, especially since her husband slept with you. All right, it was only once. And who can blame him with that frigid, viperous gorgon at home?

Alexis: All right, so I slept with him once, a long time ago. And now, I'm this hysterical stalker? You see, there must be some motive that she has other than jealousy.

Diane: Believe me, I fully intend to comb through Andrea’s statement, debunk it.

Alexis: And you know that I trust you. Now, go over there and distract them.

Diane: No, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. If our positions were reversed, you'd be telling me not to do this. All right. All right. Just don't become overwrought, or you will add further proof to Andrea’s statement that you're-- you know, highly charged emotional state.

Alexis: I'm as cool as a cucumber.

Diane: A cucumber lying in the sun.

Alexis: All right.

Diane: Gentlemen. I believe that my client has answered all of your questions to the best of her knowledge, and that you have no further evidence on...

Andrea: I have absolutely nothing to say to you.

Alexis: All right. Well, then, just listen. Please. I slept with your husband once, a long time ago. I told you that I deeply regret it. And yet, you are suddenly intent on destroying me. What possibly could your motive be?

Andrea: You came to my home...

Alexis: I want--

Andrea: Tried to confront my husband, and refused to leave.

Alexis: I wanted to talk to him.

Andrea: You left my home in a very hysterical state around 9 P.M. You went east on Harbor View Road where, just a few minutes later, a pregnant woman was run off the road by a reckless driver. I can testify to that in a court of law. Can you deny it without perjuring yourself?

Kristina: Michael, don't call. Dad's got a lot to deal with.

Michael: You know Dad. He'll want to know who did this to Claudia and the baby. If I tell the truth, at least he won't have to search the whole town looking for payback.

Kristina: But you can't confess to something if you're not even sure you're guilty!

Michael: It must have been me, and I didn't even stop. That's the worst part. I ran away. If I try to hide what I did, that makes it even worse.

Kristina: Maybe Claudia and the baby will be fine and none of it will matter. You won't have to say a word.

[Cell phone rings]

Michael: Hello?

Morgan: We're at the hospital. You need to come. Mom's really sick.

Michael: What happened?

Morgan: Claudia was in a car crash, and Mom saved her. Mom must have hurt herself or something 'cause she fainted, and now, they can't wake her up.

Michael: Morgan, don't worry. I'll be right there.

Kristina: What's wrong with Morgan?

Michael: It's Mom. She's the one who helped Claudia after the accident, and she's not supposed to be stressed or upset because the pregnancy's high-risk. Now she's unconscious.

Kristina: Michael, I'm so sorry.

Michael: Not only did I hurt Claudia and her baby... I hurt my mom and her baby, too.

[Door slams]

Alexis: Andrea, I did leave your house at approximately 9:00, but I did not cause any accident.

Andrea: Forgive me and the people of Port Charles if we don't take your word for it.

Alexis: Why are you deliberately twisting the truth? It makes me wonder what else you're doing to sabotage me, like making hysterical emails.

Andrea: Hmm?

Lucky: Alexis, I'm sorry, but Mrs. Floyd has made it clear that she doesn't want to speak with you.

Andrea: Thank you.

Alexis: As district attorney, I have a right to question a witness.

Mac: You know, your status as a D.A. is unclear.

Alexis: Well, I haven't received a notice of suspension. I've done nothing wrong, and I have no intention of leaving my position.

Andrea: At the very least, she trespassed on my property. She may very well have caused a serious car accident and fled the scene. Shouldn't you be arresting her?

Diane: You have no evidence on which to hold my client.

Mac: We're going to do a complete work-up of the accident site. Alexis, we may need to examine your car.

Diane: Of course. We will be happy to comply with any and all warrants and subpoenas, but as of right now, I think we're done.

Mac: You're free to go. We need you to sign some paperwork.

Andrea: Gladly.

Dominic: Come on. You'd be way happier back at home. We'll get you your old job back. We'll get you hooked up with somebody nice. You can--you can play bingo on Sundays at the parish hall.

Olivia: Oh, be still my heart.

Dominic: Come on. You want excitement? Go to Coney Island. Just stay away from Sonny. Or is it already too late?

Olivia: Late for what?

[Dominic sighs]

Olivia: You know what? Don't even answer that. Honey, it's not like I'm encouraging the guy.

Dominic: Well, Sonny obviously thinks you are, so whatever you're doing, maybe you should stop.

Olivia: The last time I checked, I was still the parent here.

Dominic: Well, then act like it. Sonny's playing you for a fool. He's taking care of his wife and kids, and then stringing you along like having a little something on the side's never a bad thing.

Olivia: Hey, enough. You don't get to talk to me like that.

Dominic: Look, I love you, and it will kill me to see you hurt by this guy.

Olivia: That's why I left Sonny Corinthos all those years ago, before you were even born. I'm not going back on that decision now.

[Telephone rings]

[Dominic sighs]

Dominic: Ron, yeah, look. I'll call you later. This is a bad time. Yeah. All right. I'm on it.

Olivia: Everything okay?

Dominic: No, Ma. You're in deep trouble. You should get back to Bensonhurst while you still can.

[Door shuts]

[Monitor beeping]

Jax: Did she have a stroke?

Kelly: It's a possibility. Unlike heart attacks, strokes don't leave markers in the blood. If Carly did throw a clot, we'll be able to tell on her C.T. scans. I'll check on them now.

Jax: Thanks.

[Jax sighs]

Morgan: Open your eyes, Mom. Please.

Jax: Hey, your mom has passed out before. She'll wake up. It's going to take a little longer this time. Do you want to--do you want to talk to her?

Jason: Carly, it's me. Now would be a good time for you to wake up. You need to wake up. You got a whole lot of people waiting for you. I need to know that you're okay.

Michael: How's Mom?

Morgan: Still unconscious.

Michael: What did the doctor say?

Morgan: She's checking on Mom's tests. Maybe you could talk to her like she talked to you when you were in a coma.

Michael: I can’t. This whole thing is my fault.

Jason: You said to me that you can get through this pregnancy. You said you would do whatever it have your baby girl. Carly, you can't give up.

[Jason sighs]

Jax: Hey, Carly. It's Jax. [Jax sighs] We have so much to look forward to. Morgan's with us. Michael will be moving in soon. And our baby will be born in just a few short months. We're a family. And you're the center of it. You're the one that holds us together.

[Jax sighs]

[Carly exhales]

Jason: Carly.

Jax: Hey. How you feeling? Hi.

Carly: What happened?

Jax: You fainted. We brought you to the hospital.

Jason: Hey. Your mom's awake.

Morgan: Mom, are you okay?

Carly: Hey, sweetie. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine.

Morgan: I was so scared. You got up, and then you fainted.

Jax: Yeah. Morgan called 911, though. He did just the right thing.

Carly: Wow. You're my hero. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

Morgan: I'm so glad you're all right. If anything were to happen to you—

Carly: Hey, nothing's going to happen to me. I'm feeling better already.

Robin: Epiphany is prepping O.R. 2, and it should be ready within the hour.

Elizabeth: Sonny and Claudia agreed to this?

Robin: Well, they don't know all the details yet.

Elizabeth: Oh. They might cancel once they find out.

Robin: True. But for now, we're assuming it's a go.

[Elevator dings]

Patrick: Hey. Did he answer my page yet?

Robin: There he is now.

Matt: You wanted to see me?

Patrick: Claudia Corinthos was in a car accident. She suffered a head trauma. She opted to treat it with surgery because--

Matt: The meds would jeopardize the pregnancy. Yeah.

Patrick: Yeah.

Matt: So if you're putting together a team, I'd be happy to assist you.

Patrick: I want you to do the surgery.

Matt: I would say that you are joking, but you never joke about surgery.

Robin: No. Patrick sprained his finger, and it would be dangerous for him to operate.

Matt: So call Morucci.

Patrick: You're better.

Matt: Okay. Let's be honest here. I'm not exactly the surgeon in demand right now because of this whole Brianna Hughes scandal. I mean, since then, I have not been permitted to cut into one patient.

Patrick: And it's their loss. Matt, you're a good surgeon, all right? And I don't trust anybody else to do this surgery. So you're going to do it.

[Matt scoffs]

Matt: So, first you gave me the mayor's mistress, and now, you give me the godfather's wife. No pressure, right?

Johnny: Claudia, I know you've fallen in love with this baby, but sometimes, you've just-- you've got to learn to let go.

Claudia: I'm not going to do anything to hurt my child, John. I'm not. And I know that you don't understand, but I'm asking you 'cause I need your support. I need you.

Johnny: Yeah, Claudia, and I need you, too. You're the only family I got left.

Claudia: Well, I'm going to be fine, me and this baby. We're going to get through this. We're going to get through it.

Sonny: You ready to go?

Patrick: Actually, I injured my finger. I won't be able to perform the surgery. But my brother, Dr. Hunter, is going to step in for me.

Johnny: No way.

Patrick: Dr. Hunter's an excellent surgeon.

Johnny: Dr. Hunter botched the surgery on the mayor's mistress and killed her. She's not getting a chance to kill my sister.

Patrick: Johnny, he wasn't responsible for the patient's death. I would never recommend anybody that I didn't believe in.

Johnny: You're biased.

Claudia: No, Johnny. Just let the doctors talk, huh?

Sonny: What's your opinion, Robin?

Robin: Matt is completely capable of performing the surgery.

Matt: If I don't do this now, the only alternative is the medication.

Claudia: No. I'm not going to do that. So... well, if Dr. Drake trusts you, so do I.

Claudia: And don't you worry there, little boy. We're doing everything we can to keep you-- keep you safe. And you're going to be fine, hmm?

Epiphany: Well, let's get you prepped for surgery.

Claudia: Okay. This is it.

Johnny: You know I love you, always.

Claudia: Back at you. And don't you worry about me, because I'm a survivor, and I have been my whole life. Me and your little nephew are going to be fine. I just...

Johnny: I'm counting on it.

[Claudia chuckles]

Sonny: Can you give us a minute?

Epiphany: Sure.

Sonny: Okay. [Sighs] Uh, first of all, you know what? I just want to... I want to apologize, 'cause I know I've been hard on you and all that. Uh... whatever we've done together, it's, you know, we've made this baby. And I can see, you know, that you--how much you love our baby, and I respect the decision you made tonight. And you're thinking like a mother, and I think you're going to be a great mother.

Claudia: Thank you, Sonny.

Sonny: You're putting yourself on the line for this baby, and, uh...when you get through this operation... we're going to give this baby a great life...together.

[Claudia chuckles]

Claudia: I'm going to hold you to that, so you know.

[Monitor beeping]

[Cell phone rings]

Johnny: Yeah?

Olivia: Hey. I was worried about you. How is your sister?

Johnny: Claudia's heading into brain surgery.

Olivia: Oh, my God.

Johnny: Yeah. She could be taking a medication that would heal her just as well, but it might harm the baby, so she's having her head cut into instead.

Olivia: Look, I know you don't want to hear this, but, um... as a mother, I can understand why she would make that choice.

Johnny: I don’t. I think Claudia's putting her life on the line. Not to sound cold, but she can have another baby.

Olivia: So, I take you tried to talk her out of it.

Johnny: Yeah, well,

[Elevator dings]

Johnny: I don't know. Hey, I got to go.

Johnny: Hey, I need to talk to you about my sister's surgery.

Patrick: I'm in a rush. Dr. Lee can answer any questions you might have.

Johnny: Really?

Patrick: Get your hands off me.

Johnny: Hey, you talked her into a procedure you can't perform.

Patrick: My brother's a competent surgeon.

Johnny: Competent, huh? Competent's not going to cut it.

Patrick: He's good, and he can save your sister. That's what you want, isn't it?

Johnny: You better hope he saves my sister, because if he botches this surgery like he did the last one, she ends up impaired or dead, I will personally put a bullet in your brother's brain.

Carly: Wow. I'm so proud that you were so brave when I fainted.

Jax: Were there any warning signs at all--nausea or dizziness?

Carly: No. I--I stood up from the chair, and I...I thought I felt fine. And then, I was out.

Jax: Maybe trying to rescue Claudia single-handedly is too much, even for you.

Jason: Yeah. Can you call me next time, please?

Carly: There wasn't time. There wasn't time. Claudia's car was leaking gas. If it caught fire, she would have died. But don't worry. This pregnant woman is not taking any more chances.

Kelly: I have the test results back.

Carly: What do they say?

Kelly: It might be best to talk in private. Would you mind taking Morgan to the hallway?

Morgan: Is Mom okay?

Kelly: Hey, oh, yeah. She's going to be okay. We just need to go over a few things.

Carly: Go ahead. I'm okay.

Morgan: Why did Dr. Lee send me out?

[Jason sighs]

Jason: We're just going to have to wait and see. You know, why don't we try to call Michael, tell him what happened--

Morgan: I already did. He was here.

Jason: Well, why didn't he come in?

Morgan: I should have told you, but Michael made me promise not to.

Jason: What is it?

[Telephone rings]

Morgan: He says he was the one driving the car that made Claudia crash, and that everything's all his fault. He's going to the police to turn himself in.

Jason: Okay. I want you to stay here with your mom and Jax, okay?

Jax: You've explained what you think led to Carly’s collapse. What about now? How are Carly and the baby doing?

Kelly: I'm sorry, but the test results aren't good. This latest incident has led to serious complications.

Carly: How serious?

Epiphany: You can wait in here. The doctors will come speak to you after the surgery.

Sonny: Where did you go?

Johnny: Went to talk to Patrick Drake--not that it's any of your damn business.

Sonny: Claudia made her decision, John. Hey, leave the doctors alone.

Johnny: Oh, what, so all of a sudden, you're Claudia's loyal husband or big protector who cares so much?

Sonny: You know what, Johnny? I'm not proud of the way I treated your sister, but she gave as good as she got. But there's one thing we agree on, and that's the baby.

Johnny: The baby, huh? Were you thinking about Claudia and the baby when you were shoving your tongue down Olivia’s throat?

Sonny: No, there was other things I was thinking about, and I'm not getting into it with you.

Johnny: Hey, you don't want to get into it, Sonny, because you don't want this baby, and you don't want any permanent ties to Claudia. And that's the only reason you agreed to this damn surgery--it's because she might die, and you might be free.

Sonny: Get out of here before I break your neck.

Johnny: I'd like to see you try.

[Sonny laughs]

Johnny: That's what I thought.

[Door opens]

Sonny: Come on, bastard.

Dominic: Well, I've been called worse things.

Kristina: Kiefer, I'm in so much trouble. I might have caused the accident. [Sighs] My dad's wife crashed trying to avoid a reckless driver. What if it was me? No. I didn't even tell my brother. No. I can't tell anyone.

Alexis: Thanks for following me home.

Kristina: I got to go. I'll talk to you later.

Diane: Right. Well, we need to go over strategy. You are facing some very serious charges.

Alexis: Andrea Floyd is perjuring herself, and I am looking forward to you proving that.

Diane: Unfortunately, it's not going to be quite that easy.

Alexis: You're the one who relishes a challenge.

[Diane sighs]

Diane: Alexis, from a legal standpoint, you made some extremely unfortunate choices tonight. First off, you elect to go to the mayor's home. Then, you promptly get back in your car, you drive along Harbor View Road, and you stop at the site of Claudia's car's accident minutes after it happened.

Alexis: I don't speed. You've been in the car with me. It drives you insane. And I'm certainly a far cry from the hysterical person that Andrea Floyd described.

Diane: Well, right now, it's your word against hers, and she is proving to be a much more credible individual than you.

Alexis: Well, she's lying through her teeth, and I'm telling the truth.

Diane: Okay, Alexis, I am--I'm your friend as well as your attorney. But in order to defend you, I need to know exactly where we stand. Is there any possibility that you could have caused Claudia's accident?

[Alexis sighs]

Andrea: Thank you for making this as painless as possible. I'll be happy to testify against Ms. Davis when the charges are filed.

Mac: We'll continue our investigation and see what we come up with.

Andrea: You do that, Commissioner Scorpio, but I think we all know where this is going to lead.

Mac: Thank you.

Andrea: Take care.

Michael: My stepmother was in a car accident tonight. She swerved to avoid a reckless driver.

Mac: Right. We already have a suspect.

Michael: It was me.

Mac: What do you mean?

Michael: I was speeding on Harbor View Road, and I took the turn too hard--

Jason: Hey, hey, hey, Michael. Stop.

Sonny: What the hell are you doing here?

Dominic: Sorry for intruding. I heard about your wife's accident. But something's come up, and you and I need to deal with it now.

Olivia: Hey, Nurse Johnson. Um, have you seen John Zacchara?

Epiphany: In the waiting room.

Olivia: Thank you.

Sonny: You picked the wrong time to impress me with your initiative.

Dominic: I get this timing couldn't be worse. But not telling you would be disloyal. So tell me who to bring this to--Jason Morgan, maybe?

[Monitor beeping and respirator hissing]

Elizabeth: The patient is ready, Doctor.

Matt: Scalpel.

Matt: Let's do this.
