Spinelli: I am so pleased that you consented to join me.

Maxie: I almost didn't. I mean, seriously, Spinelli, you're lucky I made it here at all.

Spinelli: Your first instinct was to refuse my invitation?

Maxie: No. No, that's not what I meant.

Spinelli: Am I--am I sensing exasperation or perhaps... End-of-your-ropeness? If your ardor for courtly love is cooled, that would... that would certainly explain why you so pointedly ignored my proposal of marriage.

Kristina: hit me.

Kiefer: I'm sorry. I didn't mean it.

Kristina: It sure felt like you meant it.

Kiefer: Yeah, well, you caught me by surprise.

Kristina: I did? What about you?

Kiefer: Okay, look, you know me, K. I don't stalk girls back to their bedroom. I just--I thought you wanted to --

Kristina: What?

Kiefer: I thought you wanted me here. I mean, you acted like you wanted to do more than kiss, so I'm going along with it, then all of a sudden you--you push me back like you smelled something foul. That hurt my feelings. Look, I'm--I'm sorry, okay? Can we just pretend like this never happened?

Man: The country club has rules. Your son broke them. He attacked a member of long standing.

Sonny: What's your name?

Man: Excuse me?

Sonny: Your name.

Man: Chip.

[Sonny, Max, and Milo laugh]

Sonny: His name's Chip. What's your last name, Chip?

Chip: Howell.

Sonny: Okay, Chip Howell. One thing I do know--my son is not a pit bull. He doesn't go attacking people. Unless you saw him with your own eyes.

Chip: Well, no, I didn't see it, but my sources are--

Sonny: Do you own a horse?

Chip: Wh--I--what?

Sonny: A horse. You know what a horse is, don't you?

Chip: Um, yes, but I--

Sonny: Do you own one?

Max: The boss loves that movie.

[Big band music playing]

Olivia: Oh, come on. Gods of housekeeping, please do not make this any more difficult than it needs to be.

[Olivia sighs]

Claudia: Look, obviously my husband is not coming. I'm not gonna sit around and wait for him all night. I want to know. Is...Sonny the father of my baby, or is it Ric?

Kelly: That would be... Sonny.

Claudia: What about the rest of the results? Is my baby okay?

Kelly: Your son is perfect.

Claudia: [Exhales] What a great night.

Kelly: Take care of yourself and you should sail through this pregnancy with no further complications. But that means seeing me once a month without fail.

Claudia: Absolutely.

[Pager beeps]

Kelly: I have to go. You can keep a copy of the results. Congratulations.

Claudia: Thank you for everything.

Kelly: I'm glad it turned out.

Claudia: You hear that, little guy? You did great on your first test. Gave mommy all the right answers. You might have even saved my life. My little son. He's already my hero. [Laughs] It's so cute. Ohh. You... I hope you know that I would have loved you either way. I mean, how could I not? You are this miracle growing inside me, and it's so...Profound. I promise that I am going to love you with all my heart, and I will never let anybody hurt you ever. I swear it. I swear it on my life.

[Door opens]

Johnny: Hey. Nurse said you'd be in here. I assume you got the results. Where's Sonny?

Claudia: He, uh, left before the results came in.

Johnny: Well, judging by your face, I'm assuming Ric's the father, so, all right, don't worry, I'll get on the phone, I'll call your Uncle Rudy, get you out of the country as soon as possible.

Claudia: No, no, no. You won't. Sonny's the father, Johnny. You know what that means. [Chuckles]

Johnny: I'm afraid to ask.

Claudia: That means I finally get everything that I want.

Carly: You know, there's another matter that we haven't addressed yet. And I think, um, yeah, I think you called our son brain damaged.

Sonny: Brain damaged?

Carly: Yeah.

Sonny: Is that true, Chip?

Chip: Well, I certainly didn't mean to imply--

Carly: And then you said that he wasn't good enough to hang out here at your club.

Sonny: Now, see, that--that's-- that disappoints me, Chip. It hurts my feelings.

Chip: I--I didn't mean to imply that, uh--[Clears throat] Michael was somehow, uh--uh, less than the others.

Carly: That's the way it sounded.

Sonny: What am I gonna do with you, Chip? What is a father's natural reaction when someone insults his son? And what does a man who basically... does whatever you did to my teenage boy have to say for himself?

Kiefer: You've got to believe me, K., I didn't mean to hurt you.

Kristina: What's wrong with you? It still hurts.

Kiefer: Honest to God, I don't remember doing that.

Kristina: Need me to remind you?

Kiefer: I'm sorry. I would never intentionally hurt you.

Kristina: But you did, Kiefer. I just don't understand why.

Kiefer: Maybe I care about you too much. The thing is, sometimes I think this thing we've got going on is one-sided. Like you don't want me around as much as I want to be with you.

Kristina: That is so not true.

Kiefer: Okay. I guess it was just one big misunderstanding. That happens with couples. Look, you're so beautiful. Okay? And you're so different than all those other girls. You got stuff going on up here. And I like that. I like you. I don't want to lose you. Tell me that we're okay and you'll forgive me?

Kristina: I forgive you.

Maxie: My ardor for you is over the moon, Spinelli. It belongs to you forever. What I meant was I almost didn't make it here because I couldn't figure out what you were trying to tell me. All that talk about towers of stone--I didn't get it. I thought you were talking about Wyndemere. Talk about a wrong turn. Nikolas probably thinks I'm a total nut job.

Spinelli: I--I am so sorry. No, I thought--I thought my courtly riddle would be cryptic to everyone but you. How could I have calculated so erroneously? I hope it's not a sign of--of an omen of worse things to come.

Maxie: You don't even believe in omens. Just remember, if you're trying to tell me something important, say it in plain English.

Spinelli: Speaking of which, um... this...evening was planned... for--in service to a point. Um...a very important point. A question, if you will.

Maxie: You know, Spinelli, this is really beautiful. Nobody's ever done anything like this for me before. It's very...romantic.

Spinelli: You know, I would happily spend a lifetime thinking of romantic settings to complement your unsurpassed beauty. Um, and in fact... A lifetime is what I hope to gain.

Spinelli: If you look at the history of the Jackal and Maximista, we--we've already kind of experienced a lifetime already. I mean, though our love is nascent, we've shared much. From our beginning as scratchy adversaries to our reluctant partnership in finding the text message killer to our warming friendship, and now, our most recent incarnation, as most sublime lovers.

Maxie: Yeah, we've, uh, we've been around the block all right. Heh.

Spinelli: I'm looking forward to continued sharing of... events and growth in a more unified way... Through the time-honored tradition of pledging one's troth before friends and family, asserting that the ground that we stand on is but a foundation for the life that we will be henceforth building together.

Maxie: Building. Oh, building. Like--like that Taylor building over there. Wow, I didn't even know you could see that from up here. It's stands out, don't you think?

Spinelli: Uh...I had no idea you had an interest in architecture.

Maxie: Uh, I don't. At least not until Kate made me research buildings for photo shoots. Um, like--like this one. Uh, Pottage Tower. It was built in 1905. It's beautiful. Gah, can you imagine? I mean, there's-- the cornice has beige and green terra cotta tiles that form this chestnut tree motif.

Spinelli: That's obscure and arcane knowledge. I'm...I'm impressed.

Maxie: It's not like I study tiles or anything. I just had to so I could match outfits to them.

Spinelli: Don't do that.

Maxie: What?

Spinelli: Slough off appreciation for your sharp and inquisitive mind. Own it.

Maxie: Okay.

Spinelli: You're radiant tonight.

Maxie: You make me happy, Spinelli. Everybody knows happiness is the best skin care.

Spinelli: Well, maybe we can... improve on perfection. Um... Maxie, I, Damien Spinelli...

[Maxie coughs]

Spinelli: Are you--are you okay?

Maxie: It's just I have-- the dust. Could I have some water?

Spinelli: Yeah. Uh...

Kristina: Stop it!

Kiefer: Okay, not this again.

Kristina: You think we're going to have sex after you hit me?

Kiefer: What are you trying to say, Kristina? That kiss was another tease right before you shut me off again? This is really starting to piss me off.

Kristina: How did I get to be the wrong one here?

Kiefer: What do you want from me?

Kristina: I want you to be nice.

Kiefer: I am. You know any other seniors hanging out with a junior?

Kiefer: That's not what I meant.

Kiefer: You don't know what you mean or want. Until you figure it out, quit jerking me around and then crying foul when you don't like what comes next.

[Door slams]

Chip: Mr. Corinthos, I represent the club, and it's my duty to make sure that rules are followed and that bad behavior has consequences for everyone that uses the facility. I can't make exceptions.

Sonny: I made one. I came down here to have a civilized conversation with you. Usually I send emissaries.

Chip: Oh, well. At the end of the day, no one's dead, right? Let's just chalk it up to boys will be boys.

Sonny: That's fine, but you still didn't, uh, apologize to my son. 'Cause you did--you called him brain damaged.

Chip: Yeah, that was out of line. I apologize.

Sonny: And you also--you also said that he wasn't welcome here and all that, right?

Chip: Oh, no. By all means, come whenever you'd like. Is that enough?

Sonny: Yeah, I appreciate that.

Michael: That was a real show of power.

Sonny: Yeah? Well, that's what it's there for, buddy.

Michael: And you guys were fierce. Almost scared me.

Max: All in a day's work.

Milo: We live to serve.

Sonny: Hey, listen to me. If anybody ever does that again to you here or anywhere else, you let me know, 'cause, uh, I won't let anybody get away with that.

Claudia: There it is. Incontrovertible proof. And it's absolutely legit. Dr. Lee cannot be bribed, not for lack of trying. [Chuckles] She practically rapped me on the nose with her rolled up hypocritical oath.

Johnny: Hypocritical? Good one.

Claudia: See? See, I haven't lost my sense of humor. Even with all the stress and torture that Sonny and Ric have been putting me through. But you know what, John, I'm done. I'm done with the fear. It's been my whole life. And it's enough. Sonny and Ric making me absolutely crazy, out of my mind when I could have been concentrating on this little baby inside of me. No more.

Johnny: Well, I know you're excited that Sonny's the father. It's what you wanted all along, and I'm excited for you. But now I think it's time you play this to your advantage.

Claudia: Yeah, absolutely. I'm carrying a Corinthos heir. That cements my position and my power.

Johnny: Heh. Okay. I was thinking something a little more along the lines of maybe now this allows you an easy way out of this farce of a marriage of yours.

Spinelli: Better?

[Maxie clears throat]

Maxie: Much. Thank you.

Spinelli: Okay. Well--

Maxie: Oh, Spinelli! I can't believe that I didn't tell you this as soon as I got here. I have huge news. Sit down.

Spinelli: You know, actually, I have something--

Maxie: No, no, no. It's important. It can't wait. Take a seat. Heh. So, Kate came back from her vacation today, and she was in her usual foul mood, which was to be expected, but it got even worse because she found out that I redesigned a photo shoot when the one she put together completely fell apart, artistically speaking. She had a cow and threatened to fire me. But my idea was so great that even Kate Howard couldn't deny it. It's happening, Spinelli. She promoted me to junior editor.

Spinelli: Maximista, that's wonderful. That's what you've been toiling for.

Maxie: Yeah, well, I'm still gonna have to toil for Kate, she won't let me off of her desk. But I have to fit in editing whenever I can, which will probably be all the time and some late nights, but I can handle it. I'm gonna do whatever it takes. Is that what this is all about? Did you already know about my promotion? Is this to celebrate?

Spinelli: Oh, uh... uh, I mean, there's--there's-- there's plenty of room for celebration, but I thought--

Maxie: Spinelli, it's absolutely perfect. You always know what I want before I know it myself. There's only one thing that would make this night even better.

Spinelli: And what's that?

Maxie: Champagne. Uh, let's open it.

[Knock on door]

Molly: Hey. Can I borrow your purple sweater?

Kristina: It's big on me, it'll swallow you whole.

Molly: Mmm. Did you know that in ancient Rome only the most important people wore purple? That's because it took a lot of fish cells to make the col... are you even listening?

Kristina: What? Uh, no, Molly, actually I'm not. I have to--I have to get ready.

Molly: What happened to your face?

Kristina: I walked into a door.

Molly: What a klutz.

Kristina: Don't tell Mom.

Molly: That you walked into a door? Why not?

Kristina: Because I was texting at the time, and you know how she always rides us about not paying attention. I don't need a lecture. Pinky swear?

Molly: Pinky swear.

Kristina: You're going to look ridiculous.

Molly: Where you going?

Kristina: Out.

Molly: With Kiefer?

Kristina: Maybe.

Molly: He's nice.

Kristina: Not always.

Molly: I don't get it. Did you and Kiefer have a fight?

Kristina: It's no big deal. I was acting dumb. But I'm over it. Kiefer's a catch. I'm not about to throw him back.

Claudia: Are you insane? Why would I leave Sonny now?

Johnny: This was never a real marriage to begin with, Claudia. It was never a love match between you and Sonny. It was a business deal.

Claudia: It doesn't matter. John, the game has changed, okay. Sonny may not like me very much, but he's gonna have to give me respect and honor me as the mother of his child.

Johnny: Yeah, one of many.

Claudia: It doesn't matter how many. It doesn't. You know, the rules are the same. They still apply.

Johnny: Okay. What if Michael suddenly remembers that you confessed to him while he was in the coma?

Claudia: You're not getting it. It won't matter either. It's all changed. Sonny is not gonna hurt me. I'm safe, free and clear. If anything, he'll go after anyone who tries.

Johnny: So you're content to settle?

Claudia: Yeah.

Johnny: To be this albatross that people are willing to just deal with for the sake of that baby? You're willing to give up the idea of ever finding a guy who will actually love you?

Claudia: Love is fleeting. I mean, this baby is not only the heir to the Zacchara empire, he's the heir to the Corinthos empire. That gives me power. And power trumps love every day of the week.

Johnny: Okay, but I see that love in your eyes and that protectiveness that you've always given me my whole life, you're gonna give that baby. And you're gonna waste it on Sonny Corinthos? The guy is not even here, Claudia. These results he's been waiting for, so he says, but he couldn't be bothered to show up, could he? That should speak more loud and more clear than anything I could ever say to you. He doesn't care about you or the baby or any--

Claudia: Oh, he cares. John, he cares, trust me. You should have seen him during the ultrasound. Daddy is hooked.

Johnny: On the baby.

[Claudia sighs]

Johnny: Hmm. All right, you know what, I'm wasting my breath.

Claudia: Johnny, why can't you just be happy for me? I'm on the verge of having everything that I've ever wanted, including love. Unconditional love. My son is gonna love me. Did I mention that it's a boy? That you have a nephew coming? And he's healthy, and he's happy, heh heh, and he's perfect. Perfect. He's gonna give love, and he's gonna get love. He's gonna get love as much as he can stand. More than he can stand.

Johnny: You know what, that's great. I'm out of here.

Claudia: Love you.

Johnny: Love you. Hey, why don't you give that husband of yours a call? Husband of the year.

Claudia: Oh, no, no. Uh-uh. No.

Johnny: Tell him the good news.

Claudia: No, I'm gonna--I'm gonna go there and let him see it in person. I want to see his face. And then I want him on his knees groveling, begging for forgiveness.

Johnny: That's a tall order, Claudia.

Claudia: It's gonna happen. And that's only the beginning.

Johnny: Good luck.

Claudia: Heh.

[Door closes]

Michael: I never understood the term "flop sweat" until just now.

Sonny: That guy got what he deserved. Now tell me about this guy you got in a fight with.

Michael: Uh, he's Kristina's boyfriend. The guy's a jerk.

Sonny: I'll pay him a visit if you want me to do that.

Michael: No, Kristina--

Carly: Sonny. Sonny.

Michael: Kristina would freak on me if you did that. Probably never speak to me again. I can handle it.

Sonny: What's his name? Barrington?

Michael: Kiefer.

Sonny: What's wrong, Carly? You okay?

Carly: Yeah. Yeah, just a twinge. You know, baby on board, so.

Michael: Is this 'cause of me? 'Cause of what happened at the club?

Carly: No. No, I'm fine. I'm fine. Your little sister, she's just moving around.

[Tracy sighs]

Tracy: Where is it written that if Michael is living here, you have free access as well?

Sonny: Be nice, Tracy. Because if not, I'll tell Monica that you're upsetting Michael, and we'll see who gets access to what.

Tracy: Well, if anybody wants me, I'll be in the living room.

Michael: You did it again, Dad. Tracy backed right down.

Sonny: No, come on. It's just one of those things.

Carly: Okay, that's enough. No, it's enough, Michael. Your father and I were wrong, and we're gonna straighten it out right now.

Michael: You guys aren't gonna fight, are you?

Sonny: No, no. Your mother's right. Um, you shouldn't go around intimidating people.

Michael: But you just did.

Sonny: Yeah, I know. It's just that, you know, that was an exception because I didn't like the way the guy called you brain damaged.

Carly: I didn't like it either, which is why my first impulse was to call your father, but I, as well as you, we have to learn a more productive way of dealing with people. We can't handle things like--

[Cell phone rings]

Carly: It's Morgan.

[Phone beeps]

Carly: Hey, Morgan, sweetie. How you doing?

Michael: I don't get it. What's so bad? I mean, you guys were just standing up for me.

Sonny: I get you, but it's just, you know, it's the way I did it. Like I brought Max and Milo and made threats inst--you know, I should have used power of persuasion and not the power of intimidation. You get what I'm saying?

Michael: Yeah, I guess.

Sonny: All right.

Michael: Hey, but what you were saying at the club about me coming to you if anyone was giving me a hard time. Does that still stand?

Sonny: You just got to pick your battles.

Carly: Okay, Morgan's really upset because he thinks he lost his Saint Christopher medal, the one you gave him, in the woods. So I told him I would go look for it.

Sonny: I'll go with you.

Michael: Yeah, I'll come too. I want to thank Max and Milo again.

Carly: I'll catch up with you. I'm just gonna get a sip of water.

Michael: Okay.

Carly: Okay.

Sonny: All right.

[Carly sighs]

Carly: All right, baby, just calm down.

Molly: You're home.

Alexis: Is that okay?

Molly: Yeah, it's awesome.

Alexis: Aw. I must be very special, you left your book. Give me a hug.

Molly: You are special. You're my mom. You're so important, you should be wearing purple.

Alexis: Yes. Where's your sister?

Molly: She left.

Alexis: With?

Molly: I don't know. Viola's making lemonade.

Alexis: Good. How was science camp?

Molly: Okay.

Alexis: Just okay?

Molly: Well, some of the girls were talking about you--sending emails to the mayor.

Alexis: I'm sorry, honey. Oh. The last thing I want is to be an embarrassment to you and Kristina.

Molly: I'm not embarrassed by you.

Alexis: You know, the only thing that--that you can do is just know that what people are saying about me isn't true. And you just have to stay strong and focus on--on the task at hand. I think that's all we can do right now.

Molly: Okay. But what about you, Mom? What are you gonna do?

Alexis: What do you mean?

Molly: People are lying about you, and you're just gonna let them?

Alexis: No. You just gave me an idea. Would you mind if I just go out for a little bit, and I'll be right back? Okay. Good idea.

Tara: So, that was it, yeah.

Kiefer: That's his laugh.

Kristina: Hey.

Kiefer: Hey. I didn't think you'd be back.

Kristina: I didn't like the way we left things.

Kiefer: Uh, yeah, neither did I. But that was on you. You got upset over nothing.

Kristina: Well, I'm not upset now. Can we go someplace and talk?

Tara: Like he first said, you weren't expected. We made plans to go to a party.

Kiefer: Yes, we did.

Tara: Seniors only. Sorry.

Spinelli: Maximista has had an eventful and rewarding day, rife with the unexpected. Perhaps her evening will bring more of the same.

Maxie: It already has. I honestly don't think I could take one more happy surprise. Don't you think happiness should be spread out anyway? [Pop] Ooh!

Spinelli: Jeez!

Maxie: Heh heh.

Spinelli: Oh. Oh. Um, yeah, I guess one doesn't want to reach a happy quotient and then lead a life of misery and pain, but I don't believe in a ceiling of happiness. I think one should just grab it when it comes, less it slips through your grasp.

Maxie: Huh. A toast. To the next step in my brilliant career.

Spinelli: Actually... uh. No, I-- I have a toast that I would like to propose and propose I will or die trying. Ha! I would love this day to be--to go down in history as one for multiple causes for celebration. Maxie Jones, you--you are the love of my life. My first, my only, my everything. I wish to spend the rest of my life spinning in your orbit and basking in your luminosity. I would be profoundly humbled and honored if you would agree to be my wife.

[Helicopter fades]

Spinelli: Well?

Maxie: I'm sorry, Spinelli, the helicopter was so loud I didn't hear one word you said.

Spinelli: Okay. Ooh! [Shouts] If you would excuse me, I need to absent myself to retrieve an item of significant value but increasingly dubious worth.

Tracy: Not so fast. Where you going?

Michael: Out.

Tracy: Okay. Time to lay down some ground rules. You don't get to go out anytime, anyplace just because you get the urge. And I think you need to stay away from the country club... for good.

Michael: Why?

Tracy: Because I just got a call from Chip Howell. And the man is terrified that his wife's Arabian mare is gonna be decapitated and the head placed in his bed. What would your father manage to say that would make him think that?

Michael: My dad just showed Chip Howell what it means to be a Corinthos. See ya.

Tracy: Oof.

Kristina: So that's it? You're just gonna take off with her?

Kiefer: Look, I told you, I didn't think you'd be here. I made plans.

Kristina: But I am here. I guess I don't mean as much to you as you said.

Kiefer: Look, you know what, don't give me the drama, all right? You're the one that didn't want me around, remember?

Kristina: You're being unfair.

Kiefer: Do you think I'm unfair?

Tara: I, uh, haven't decided yet.

Kiefer: Hmm.

Tara: We'll be sure to let you know. Come now or I'm leaving without you.

Kiefer: First come, first serve.

Carly: Well, how far from the woods do you think you lost it? No. No, honey, I don't want you coming all the way down here. I'm down by Harbor View Road. Don't worry. Don't worry. I will find it. I promise you I will find it.

[Rock music playing]

Man: Changing it all for another hand, chasing missing pieces

[Kristina sobbing]

Man: I'm getting old, burning bridges under you fighting for each breath of every free as you choke

Claudia: Heh. I'm on hold for Ric Lansing. I don't care if he's busy. Look, tell him that it's his--his brother's wife, and I have the information he's been waiting for.

[Knock on door]

[Olivia sighs]

Olivia: Grand central tonight.

Sonny: Hi.

Olivia: What does it take with you?

Sonny: No, hold on. Claudia had the amnio today.

Olivia: And?

Sonny: And I got called away before the test results came back. It--I haven't heard from her in hours. If it were my kid, she would have been all over me like white on rice. Which tells me... Ric is the proud papa. I'm free to be with you.

Olivia: How much have you had to drink?

Sonny: Sober as a judge.

Olivia: Then maybe you better start drinking because you and me, it's not happening, Sonny. Not in a million years.

Sonny: Oli--Olivia.

Olivia: What?

Sonny: What... are we gonna keep playing this back and forth game? We're--we're not finished. There's no getting away from that. We don't--we don't have to try.

Olivia: Hey, who is this "we" you're talking about?

Sonny: Who's this--

Olivia: Speak for yourself.

Sonny: Wait. Okay, okay, okay. Please listen to me, okay? Just listen to me, all right. You don't think about us ever? Together then, together now? How about the kiss the other night? You don't--you don't think about that?

Olivia: I think about it, Sonny. I thought about it. I thought about it a lot, and it reminded me of all the reasons that I cannot be with you.

Sonny: I'm just saying the distance, I don't like it anymore.

Olivia: I'm just saying that you're still a married man.

[Phone beeps]

Claudia: Gee, Ric, thank you. I mean, you know, thanks for--for squeezing me in. Look, this isn't going to take a lot of time. I had the amnio. The results are conclusive. The baby is Sonny's. And I'm on my way to tell him right now, and I can't get there fast enough.

[Hey now by Augustana playing]

Augustana: Sky black and blue blue turn to red

[Engine starts]

Augustana: It's quiet in the streets now, but it's

Michael: Get off my ass, buddy.

Augustana: I ain't a fool

[Tires squeal]

Michael: What the hell is wrong with you?

Augustana: I've got my doubts say it doesn't hurt it doesn't matter anyhow

[Kristina sobbing]

Sonny: Claudia and I are done. I told you that already.

Olivia: Sonny, if you want to end your marriage to that woman, that is fine. I think it's great. But don't you dare make it about me. Okay? Read my lips, we're finished.

Sonny: Why?

Olivia: Why?

Sonny: Why did we let it go?

[Olivia sighs]

Olivia: 'Cause we--we were kids. We were young, we were stupid, we had a fight, and your response was to start dating my cousin.

Sonny: And you let it happen. Which was very, very odd because you don't give up without a fight. I'm thinking I know why.

Claudia: So that's pretty much it, Ric. I'm having Sonny's baby, which makes you irrelevant. There's no reason for you to ever darken the town with your presence again. Good riddance, you freak.

Augustana: There's fire in the streets now it's quiet in your head we're passing the time by breaking apart we're damned at the end and we're damned at the start blame it on the roses blame it on the red running out of time

Sonny: Your damn pride cost us a lot.

[Clears throat]

Olivia: Right. My pride.

Augustana: It's hard to breathe when you're standing on your own we'll kill ourselves to find freedom

Sonny: Come here.

Augustana: You'll kill yourself to find anything at all hey, now we're bleeding for nothing it's hard to breathe when you're standing on your own we'll kill ourselves to find freedom you'll kill yourself to find anything at all hey now, hey now, hey now right now hey now, hey now, hey now right now

[Tires squealing]
