Matt: Nurse Webber, I need you to clamp this area off immediate --
Elizabeth: She's in V-fib.
Matt: Get the paddles ready. Is there a heart condition that I missed?
Elizabeth: Nothing on the chart.
Matt: Quickly, nurse. Ready?
Elizabeth: Still in V-fib.
Matt: Doctor, compressions. One milligram epi. Ready?
Kristina: Hey, Michael.
Michael: Finally. A visitor that I actually want to see.
Kristina: You're still hating it here?
Michael: I mean, there's two gears here. Staring at the ceiling counting dots, or killing myself in physical therapy.
Kristina: Hmm. How about a little something to take the edge off?
Michael: Are you serious?
Kristina: I thought it might help. But if you're afraid of getting caught...
Michael: No, no, not at all. Um -- but I can't light it up in here.
Kristina: Your wheelchair's right outside the door.
Carly: Michael, I have to talk to you about a few things. Hey, Kristina. What's going on?
Jason: You think the baby's Ric's?
Sonny: It's possible.
Jason: So obviously, Claudia lied.
Sonny: You're not surprised.
Sonny: Don't tell me you are.
Jason: She's using this baby to work you, to get in solid with you.
Sonny: If this baby is Ric's, Claudia is no longer under my protection, but I need to wait to get a paternity test until I know for sure. Until then, I just need you to back off a bit.
Claudia: You can't find the baby's heartbeat. Is that -- does that mean that my baby's dead?
Kelly: Wait. Hold on. [Heartbeat] There it is.
Claudia: The baby's okay? It's healthy?
Kelly: That depends on you.
Lulu: If Kate finds out we're at a spa instead of work, we're going to be in a lot of trouble.
Maxie: Spinelli would not have asked us to rush down here if something wasn't wrong or if he wasn't in danger. Oh, my God, look.
Maxie: They have oxygen facials. I've been wanting to get one --
Lulu: Look, if this is an emergency, why isn't he here?
Maxie: Who knows? Evildoers lurk in the most unlikely places.
Lulu: You have been spending way too much time with Spinelli, and he'd better get here soon.
Maxie: Oh -- oh, my God.
Spinelli: Do not fear, it's I, Jackal, P.I. I followed the glacial one here. I'm about to crack the case.
Maxie: Crack it wide open? Crack it like a nut?
Epiphany: Patient responding, normal sinus rhythms.
Elizabeth: BP stabilizing.
Matt: Bring it up a little bit. Nurse, I need a scalpel. Make an incision three inches from the bottom of the anterior lobe.
Michael: I'm so busted. I asked Kristina if she could take me to the vending machines because I have this sudden craving for a candy bar.
Kristina: I can't blame you. I mean, after all the hospital mystery meat?
Carly: Okay. Well, would you mind going and getting him a candy bar? He likes the ones with almonds. You and I have to have a little talk.
Michael: I'm tired of talking.
Carly: So force yourself. Please?
Michael: I can save you time. You want me home with you.
Kristina: Almonds, it is.
Patrick: Oh, great.
Kristina: I'll be back in a while.
Patrick: Carly, well, Michael's test results have come back, and it's really good news.
Robin: Your numbers are good. Good enough to get out of here.
Claudia: You found the baby's heartbeat, so that means the baby is okay, right?
Kelly: For now.
Claudia: What the hell does that mean?
Kelly: Your initial exam led me to believe that you are healthy and a good candidate for pregnancy. Then you developed cramping and spotting which landed you in the hospital twice. Now this fall down the stairs puts you at higher risk. This keeps up, you could lose your baby
Claudia: You're making this my fault.
Kelly: Well, you're obviously under a lot of stress.
Claudia: Don't patronize me.
Kelly: Look, if Ric Lansing is your baby's father --
Kelly: You're adding to your stress by keeping the truth from Sonny.
Claudia: You need to work on your bedside manner.
Kelly: Part of my job is to be an advocate for the baby you carry. If you can't figure out a way to dial down the stress, I have serious doubts whether you can carry to term.
Claudia: It's great seeing you, and thank you for the support, because you know, I needed it.
Sonny: Until I know for sure whose baby Claudia is carrying, I -- don't even deal with her, don't threat -- you know, it's not healthy.
Jason: Meanwhile, she lives here. She works her way into Michael's life, and how long are you going to put up with that?
Sonny: Not long. If this baby is Ric's, she's out of here.
Robin: Michael wasn't as excited as I thought he would be to get out of here.
Patrick: Well, maybe he was embarrassed about the way he went off on you.
Patrick: Maybe he'll have a better handle on his anger by the time that he gets to go home.
Robin: We would have heard if there was a problem in the O.R. by now.
Robin: Wow. Look at this. Michael Corinthos, living miracle.
Patrick: Thanks to the brilliant handiwork of Dr. Drake. Once again, we're rocking the surgical world.
Robin: You know, it's getting a little crowded in here for the four of us.
Patrick: What's that supposed to mean?
Robin: You, me, Emma, and your ego.
Patrick: You're just jealous that you weren't part of the action.
Robin: Oh, I've seen you in action.
Robin: Your style, your confidence, your sexy profile.
Patrick: Oh, really. Well, you turn my head with flattery, Doctor.
Robin: Why don't you turn it a little bit my way? Do you think anybody would care if I kissed you right now?
Patrick: I don't care if they will.
Matt: Did Brianna Hughes' family ever show up?
Nurse: No, Doctor.
Matt: Someone needs to notify them that the patient died.
Spinelli: I tailed the glacial one to this pretentious palace of glamour.
Maxie: Spinelli, why do you have green face cream on?
Spinelli: It was necessary to book an appointment in order to gain entry. And at this late date, the only opening for a male patron was a combination facial and body buff exfoliation. And it was necessary to sign up for both, but I have to admit that this first part has been really rejuvenating.
[Woman clears throat]
Maxie: Well, maybe you should have upgraded to the rose and ginger salt scrub.
Lulu: Or the raindrop therapy.
Maxie: Ooh, I would really like to get an herbal pedicure right now.
Spinelli: The treatment is not the point of the venture. It is imperative for us to locate the glacial one and determine what exactly her business is here today.
Maxie: Well, it's how she keeps her dewy glow and her porcelain skin, once a week, like clockwork. I book her appointment for her.
Lulu: She -- a European body wrap and a microderm abrasion facial.
Maxie: Except she usually comes here after lunch, so she must have changed her appointment without telling me.
Kate: I feel like trying the deep moisturizer.
Robin: Hey. Want me to help you out with that?
Matt: I got it handled.
Robin: Well, that's what we do, you know? We just help each other out. Postop paperwork is a pain in the butt.
Matt: Especially when the patient dies.
Robin: I know what it's like to lose a patient. You know, you overanalyze everything that you did, every move that you made, I get it.
Matt: Yeah, I said I got it.
Robin: Really? You want to talk about it?
Matt: I did the procedure correctly. Even the great Drake gives one up to the reaper every now and again. It sucks, but it happens.
Matt: I have a consult. You want to help me? Make sure Epiphany gets these down to records.
Robin: Sure. Hmm.
Patrick: Isn't there an orderly to do this?
Elizabeth: I do this when we've lost a patient. It seems more respectful somehow.
Patrick: It should have been my procedure.
Elizabeth: You can't do them all.
Patrick: Then I've been selfish. I liked the idea of spending time with my family.
Elizabeth: Dr. Hunter convinced you that he was more than up to the task. I heard him. And you're allowed to be human. You have a right to your own life.
Patrick: Yeah, well, so did Brianna Hughes. I shouldn't ask you this, Elizabeth, but what happened in here?
Elizabeth: Dr. Hunter did a good job. You can ask Epiphany if you don't believe me, but he did everything right.
Patrick: But the patient died.
Elizabeth: Yeah, well, it happens. Something my grandmother told me once that really stuck. There are painters, and there are artists. A guy paints houses for a living, he's highly respected, he's well-paid, but you wouldn't confuse him with a Van Gogh or a Picasso. You are an artist with a scalpel, and everybody knows it, Patrick. And as good as your brother is in the O.R., he wasn't brilliant when he needed to be. Not like you.
Carly: Hey. Well, I did buy you some more clothes. Only until I can take you shopping. I know that you don't want to wear clothes that your mother bought for you. Oh, be careful.
Michael: No, I'm fine.
Carly: Well, yeah, I don't think you know your own limitations.
Michael: I said I'm fine. This happens after physical therapy. Everything hurts worse for a couple of hours.
Carly: Well, just sit here and rest, okay? Well, you have to be happy about this. I mean, I bet you didn't think you were going home so soon, huh?
Michael: Honestly, I still think it's better for everyone if I just go home with Dad.
Carly: I don't. It wouldn't be better for me, and it wouldn't be better for your brother. You know, after we took you to the institute, I used to wake up every morning and find your brother sitting outside your bedroom, asking me, "When’s Michael going to come home?" And I can't tell you how many times I sat on your bed, and I wondered the same thing. Now Morgan heard you ask your father if you could go home with him, and I'm telling you right now, if you do, it's going to break his heart.
Michael: What about the new baby? You're supposed to stay calm.
Carly: Yeah. And I can't stay calm unless you're home with me.
Michael: Okay, sure.
Carly: Here you are. So you ready to go.
Michael: Do I have to ride in that thing?
Carly: If you want to leave the hospital, you do. Sometimes you got to compromise to get what you want.
Sonny: You said yourself the hit was on me. What happened to Michael was a horrible accident.
Jason: Yeah, it wasn't long ago that you wanted revenge on anyone who --
Sonny: Believe me, that has not changed, Jason. But Michael's back. Things are different. You agreed you weren't going to go after Jerry until after Carly had her baby, so there's no point in speculating. How do we know for sure who was involved in Michael's shooting? Unless you, you know, you want to --
Olivia: Hi. Is there any chance I could grab Sonny for a couple minutes?
Sonny: Yeah, we're finished. Just listen to what I said, will you?
Jason: Yeah, all right.
Olivia: Oh, I interrupted. I'm sorry.
Sonny: You actually saved me from a conversation I didn't really want to have. There's no point in -- you all right? How you doing?
Olivia: Um, there's really no easy way to say this, Sonny. I've seen since I've been in town how important the kids are to you, and that's why I'm here. Um -- there's something I haven't told you.
Patrick: Both Epiphany and Elizabeth said that last procedure was textbook, no mistakes.
Robin: Then why did Brianna Hughes die?
Patrick: My guess is that she was beyond help to begin with. I should have assisted him. I should have at least been in the room, and I let him talk me out of it. Now Brianna's dead. He's going to need us.
Robin: Well, he hasn't figured that out yet. He's still acting like losing a patient is just part of the territory.
Patrick: Yeah, well, I still remember the first patient I lost.
Robin: Matt pushed you out of the O.R. for a reason -- try to prove something, and any minute, he's going to realize that his competitiveness may have lost him a patient. It may be good for you to remind him that it's nobody's fault.
Matt: It's really not going to be necessary.
Kristina: You scared me.
Jason: Where's Michael?
Kristina: I just saw him in the lobby. He was leaving with his mom. He asked me to check just in case he left anything behind. Guess he didn't. Hey, hands off!
Michael: Hey, what happened to the tree outside my window?
Carly: Well, there was a bad ice storm that came through, and the branches fell off, so Jax had it taken down. There's lots of new things to see.
Morgan: They're here.
Jax and Morgan: Welcome home.
Michael: Is this a costume party?
Jax: Oh, Morgan and I were just on the way to karate when your mother said she was bringing you home.
Morgan: I helped hang the banner.
Carly: Michael's home. I can't believe it. And our family's complete now.
Olivia: I was wrong to let it go on this long, Sonny. I should have spoke up. I should have been honest with you when I first suspected something, but I just -- I didn't think that your marriage needed any more trouble. And last night you poured your heart out to me about Claudia and the baby, and you made it really clear that this baby is very important to you, and I still kept my mouth shut. I know it was the kind of thing that, like, Father Vinzetti would call a marginal sin.
Sonny: What's the sin, Olivia?
Olivia: I wasn't honest about something that I knew about your wife and your brother.
Olivia: The last time I came over here to see you, I walked in on the two of them in what you would only call a close moment. There was unmistakable heat going on. You couldn't miss it. And it just got me thinking, if they were that close, then I -- I just -- I don't want to see you get hurt, Sonny. I don't want to see you invest yourself in this kid and just get kicked in the teeth --
Sonny: Can you make -- it’s okay. What's your point?
Olivia: Is there any chance that this baby could be Ric's?
Matt: You got something to say about my work?
Robin: I'll let you two talk.
Patrick: I was just thinking maybe I could help you with your postop paperwork.
Matt: Yeah, it's paperwork. I'm a neurosurgeon. I think I can handle it. Anything else?
Patrick: Yeah, man. What happened in there?
Matt: Brianna Hughes died.
Patrick: Okay, well, maybe I can help you figure out why.
Matt: Yeah. You see, the problem with that is, I know how your ego works. So you've already decided that if you were operating in there, Brianna Hughes would still be alive. So, no thanks.
Patrick: Matt. Hey, wait.
Matt: Just let it go.
Patrick: Matt, listen, I've been where you are.
Matt: Don't -- don't condescend to me. Because I am as good as you on any given day. I also live in reality. Sometimes patients die. It's not a mystery. Unless -- unless you want to accuse me of doing something wrong.
Diane: Dr. Drake? Dr. Hunter, they told me I would find you here. My clients, Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan, are extremely grateful to you for bringing Michael back, as am I. But neither you nor your brother are covered by the Corinthos-Morgan retainer, so there's no conflict of interest.
Patrick: Ms. Miller, I have no idea what you're talking about. We're in the middle of something --
Diane: Brianna Hughes. I have been retained by her family. They intend to sue Dr. Hunter for malpractice and wrongful death.
Olivia: I'm sorry, Sonny. A betrayal like that has got to hurt on some level. I just hope it's not too late. Again, I'm sorry. I should probably go.
Sonny: Stop saying I'm sorry, because it doesn't -- you know, there's no reason. I appreciate your honesty. I don't get that too often. There's a lot going on that you don't know.
Olivia: Right, well, you should probably keep it that way. I think I already know too much for my own good.
Sonny: Don't feel bad, because you know what? I've seen enough of Ric and Claudia to get the message. Do I like that this baby isn't mine? No, I hate it. But it's possible.
Claudia: You know what? You're wrong. And this sucks. You have been mean. You have been cruel to me. And now I know why.
Sonny: Okay, take it easy.
Claudia: No, you know what? I'm not going to take it easy. It's not enough that I have to put up with your jealous ex-wife and her lap dog, Jason Morgan. Now this tramp is going to pass judgment on me?
Sonny: All right, cut it out.
Claudia: No, I'm not going to cut it out, Sonny. She's pissed off because I told John to stay away from her.
Olivia: No, because I'm warning a friend that his wife is behaving like an unfaithful tramp.
Claudia: Oh, I bet you'd be happy to console him, wouldn't you, Olivia? You already helped yourself to my brother. I'm supposed to what -- step aside for you to help yourself to my husband?
Olivia: I don't sleep with married men.
Claudia: To hell with you. Oh, really? So what? You just troll the bars looking for guys young enough to be your son? And then when it comes to my husband, you figure, oh, I'll tell him enough lies, he'll leave Claudia. Then the door's wide open for me. Well, you can go to hell --
Sonny: Whoa, whoa, whoa, listen to me, now! It's not good for the baby.
Claudia: No, you know what? You can go to hell, too, you hypocritical bastard.
Kristina: It's not what you think.
Jason: Where did you get it?
Kristina: Why, you want to go bust some kneecaps and make points with my father? Michael's in a lot of pain from his physical therapy. I asked a friend of a friend to help him out. I don't even remember the guy’s name.
Jason: Well, Michael doesn't need this.
Kristina: I hope you're not going to lecture me on the evils of pot smoking.
Jason: Just keep it away from Michael.
Kristina: Or what? I can't believe you stand here with your scary look of disapproval when everyone knows you kill people. Why don't you stay away from Michael?
Carly: I know there's a lot to absorb. You just need to take some time.
Morgan: Jax and I make these all the time for Mom because she's not allowed to have pizza and any cheesy snacks while she's pregnant. I thought you might want one, too.
Jax: You should probably take some weight off your feet. Sit down.
Carly: Okay. Um, they're really good. You know how much I hate healthy food.
Michael: Yeah, I'll just take it up to my room.
Morgan: Wait until you see what Mom and Jax did to your room once they knew you were coming home.
Jax: Yeah, there's a new gaming system. Doom war iii, and he's been practicing --
Michael: There's no such thing as doom war iii.
Morgan: Is, too. Doom war ii came out right after --
Michael: Right after I got shot?
Jax: We should probably go. We don't want to keep sensei waiting. Give Michael time to settle in.
Michael: How long have you been taking karate?
Morgan: Oh, um, since last summer. I'm already a green belt. He's only an orange.
Jax: Hey, I will catch up. Bet you a new skim board.
Morgan: I'll win that bet. But I still don't want to leave Michael. Can we just skip karate today?
Michael: Don't miss it because of me. Life moves on, right, Mom?
Jax: We should probably go.
Morgan: I'm glad you're back home, Michael. I'll be back soon.
Carly: All right, baby.
Jax: What do I get if I pass you up in the class?
Morgan: Not going to happen.
Jax: We'll see.
Morgan: No, it's mine.
Jax: I'll race you to the car. Come on.
Carly: You know, you can take private karate lessons if you want to catch up with them.
Michael: I shouldn't even be here. Why'd you make me come back to a place where I don't even belong?
Spinelli: Okay, I was unable to plant a listening device so eavesdropping must suffice.
Lulu: Okay, Spinelli, I highly doubt that Kate is going to spill her innermost secrets to a facial person.
Spinelli: No, it's basic human nature. The serial bank robber confides in his barber. The cheating husband goes into a bar and very promptly confesses all to the barkeep.
Maxie: He's right. My manicurist knows way more about me than she should.
Spinelli: Yeah, if the glacial one is ever going to reveal why she would steal from her own company, it's going to happen while her guard is down.
Woman: Are you Samuel Spade?
Spinelli: Yes, 'tis I.
Woman: Are you ready for your body buff exfoliation, Mr. Spade?
Spinelli: Actually, you know, I think I've changed my mind.
Woman: So you're one of those. Huh? You book treatment and then -- just so you can come in and get eyeful of naked flesh.
Spinelli: No, absolutely not.
Maxie: Why don't you just do it? Don't make a scene.
Lulu: Okay, spa queen, what is a body buff --
Maxie: Oh, my gosh. Waxing. Spinelli --
Diane: Since Brianna Hughes' injury occurred at the Metro Court, I am going to have to subpoena any employee who may have witnessed or heard the incident, not to mention Mayor Floyd, who may have been having an illicit rendezvous --
Patrick: Why would you question Mayor Floyd about a surgery?
Diane: Because if he was present when the injury occurred, he may have testimony relevant. However, I intend to prove that Brianna Hughes was further injured and subsequently died as a result of Dr. Hunter's incompetence.
Matt: That's insane.
Patrick: My brother performed a textbook surgery.
Robin: Matt did nothing wrong.
Diane: The family doesn't see it that way. Brianna Hughes died while Dr. Hunter was operating. Are all of you so certain that her death was unavoidable?
Robin: There has to be a way of handling things outside of court.
Diane: The family believes that given Brianna's injuries, she should not have died. And I happen to believe they at least have a case. This is nothing personal.
Patrick: Diane, you're a busy lawyer. You don't have to take this case.
Diane: The family is very determined. If I walk away, another lawyer will be retained in my place.
Patrick: My brother is an excellent surgeon. He did everything right in that room.
Diane: And if the jury agrees, then it's over and done with.
Patrick: Not every surgery is a success.
Diane: A young girl is dead because of a minor bump that she incurred while in the shower. And all the evidence points to a failure on the part of Dr. Hunter, i.e. medical malpractice. I'll be in touch.
Robin: I'm so sorry, Matt.
Patrick: We're going to fight this.
Matt: Yeah. Yeah, are you sure that there's not a case? There's not a tiniest little doubt that I didn't blow it in that O.R.?
Spinelli's voice: Cease and desist, demented fiend.
Maxie: Maybe we should rescue him?
Lulu: You've had your eyebrows waxed before. It's painful at first, but it goes by fast.
Maxie: Yeah, I've also had a bikini wax before.
Spinelli's voice: No more, sadistic one. No more.
Woman's voice: Stop it. You're being a big baby.
Spinelli's voice: Oh, enough of you, evil torture monger.
Maxie: Spinelli, are you okay?
Spinelli: I've felt the tongue of the devil against my flesh.
Lulu: Well, that probably was the stick with the hot wax.
Spinelli: No, no, it's was molten lava stripping away my very skin.
Maxie: From where?
Spinelli: The Jackal, P.I., has been picked clean in a place that shall not be named. Why would the blond ones patronize such an institution that trades in barbaric torture?
Lulu: Okay. [Whispers] That was Giselle.
Maxie: That's weird. Why is Kate's biggest rival showing up here and then walking into Kate's treatment room?
Carly: Don't question that you are wanted, needed, or loved here. You're the center of this family.
Michael: You're trying to make everything like it was, but that's impossible. Everything went on without me, all of you.
Carly: We went on as best as we could, but we never forgot about you for one second, Michael, not once.
Michael: You don't get it.
Carly: Then help me understand. I know that it is hard. I know that you need time to adjust, but here in this house, you are safe, and you are loved. And you can get stronger without having to prove anything to anyone. Why is it so hard to be here at home where people love you and they want to take care of you? Why?
Michael: You and Jax and Morgan are all so happy. When the new baby comes, you can leave me out of it completely.
Carly: That's not fair.
Michael: What happened to me is not fair! But it happened to me, not you.
Carly: And I want to help you.
Michael: You're trying to control me.
Carly: Where are you going?
Carly: Michael. Michael, you are not strong enough.
Michael: Don't -- get off of me. I told you I shouldn't be here.
Claudia: God, you are such a hypocrite, Sonny. You accuse me of cheating on you, and you're in my house groping this cow?
Sonny: You're out of line now.
Olivia: Oh, Claudia, Sonny and I were having a conversation. I realize that is hard for you to grasp given that you do all of your communicating flat on your back.
Claudia: Oh, you know what, at least I don't sleep with boys.
Olivia: Yeah, at least I don't use an innocent baby to keep a man.
Sonny: I said enough. I said enough. You guys stop fighting now.
Claudia: Don't you --
Sonny: Wait a minute! I'm sorry, okay --
Claudia: You don't apologize for me. Don't you dare do that.
Olivia: I am so sorry that you have to live like this.
Claudia: Oh, yeah, you get out, you stupid tramp. Don't you ever come back here, ever.
Sonny: Olivia saw you and Ric together. So all this drama that you're doing -- it doesn't matter to me.
Claudia: I have been faithful to you.
Sonny: We'll see about that one. And if you want to threaten, pack your bags, and leave, I am not going to stop you.
Michael: Hey, what are you doing here?
Kristina: I had to see you. Get in.
Michael: I didn't know you drove.
Kristina: I have my learner's permit.
Michael: So did you get that joint from my hospital room?
Kristina: That's why I had to see you. Jason showed up and saw me with it. This is twice he's busted me on something.
Michael: Well, at least Jason is not a snitch.
Kristina: You didn't hear him. He's definitely telling my mom.
Michael: How can he do that? They don't even like each other.
Kristina: Jason has a reputation for telling the truth. My mom will believe him.
Michael: So what can she do?
Kristina: I'll be so grounded. And I can't help it. It kills me to disappoint her. That's why I need you.
Michael: Look, I've got my own problems.
Kristina: Jason will do anything for you. You have to ask him not to say anything.
Michael: Hey, my mom's coming out of the house. Okay, let's go before she sees me.
Kate's voice: Could you excuse us for a moment please?
Lulu: That's so weird. She just left Kate and Giselle in there alone.
Kate's voice: You can't get blood from a stone, Giselle.
Kate: It has to end sometime.
Giselle: I'm only doing what I have to do to make "Couture" successful.
Kate: At my expense.
Giselle: Well, you should have been more careful about where you secured your funding for "Crimson." How many scandals do you think the public will put up with before your reputation is completely destroyed?
Kate: You know, maybe you should try building your rep on your own marginal talent instead of on my back.
Giselle: I think I'm being very creative. You will continue to do whatever I ask, or I will go public with the truth about "Crimson."
Maxie: Oh, my God, Giselle's blackmailing Kate.
Robin: Hey, you might want to check you malpractice insurance. Situations like this are why we pay outrageous premiums.
Matt: Well, thank you for the legal advice. Why don't you go ahead and send me a bill.
Patrick: She's just trying to help, Matt.
Matt: Yeah? How about telling me you think I'm a good surgeon?
Robin: Because that goes without saying.
Matt: Does it?
Patrick: Look, she's right. In cases like this, they can get sticky.
Matt: Yeah? Can they? And how would you know, Patrick Drake, the great surgeon? Have you ever been sued for malpractice?
Patrick: I'm going to do whatever I can to help in your defense, just so you know.
Matt: I didn't need you in the O.R. I don't need you now.
Claudia: It's sad. You're not going to get a chance to see this place. This was supposed to be your home, but Sonny doesn't want us here. So who needs him? You're my little baby. And I'm going to take care of you because I love you. I almost lost you today. I can't let that happen. I'm going to be the very best mother that I can be, and if that scares you, guess what? It scares me, too.
Carly: I don't know where he is. We were home five minutes, and we had an argument. And I can't find him anywhere, Jason.
Jason: Okay, just take it easy.
Carly: He doesn't realize how weak he is. He doesn't. I am so worried about him.
Jason: All right, just tell me what the -- what was the fight about?
Carly: He's angry. He's angry, and he doesn't want to be here with us. And he feels left out, and he's hurt that Jax and Morgan and I went on with our lives. And that Jax and Morgan are really close, and you just have to find him. You have got to find him for me.
Jason: I can't do that.
Carly: Yes, you can. You have to.
Jason: I can't keep Michael on a leash. Look, if Michael wants to just leave the house and go for a walk, you got to let him go.
Carly: It is his first day home from the hospital, Jason. He could relapse.
Jason: I know. He could just need some fresh air, too. Please, I'm telling you. Don't do anything. Just let Michael come back, and you guys can talk about it.
Carly: I wanted to bring him home the night of the shooting. And you told me to wait. So I waited, and Michael was shot.
Michael: All right, turn left here.
Kristina: Where are we going?
Michael: To Dad's house. Okay, go right here.
[Car horn blows]
Michael: Whoa, watch out. What are you doing?
Kristina: Sorry. I'm just getting a feel for it.
Michael: Is this your mom's car?
Kristina: We keep it for Viola to run errands and drive us around. But she's on a date, and Molly's at a sleepover. Mom's at work and thinks I'm at the library studying.
Michael: And you thought you'd be grounded for having a joint? You won't see daylight for two months for that.
Kristina: I'm driving under the speed limit. If you don't tell Dad how you got to his place, no one has to know.
Michael: Look, I'm older than you are. I should be driving.
Kristina: I bet there's a lot I've done that you haven't.
Michael: Whoa, whoa, whoa, look out, look out.
