Rebecca: What are you thinking?

Nikolas: Just how right it feels for you to be here right now.

Rebecca: You know, what an amazing coincidence. I was just thinking the same thing.

Singer:    All those silly thoughts inside your head telling you all the things I've never said, oh --

Alexis: How reliable is your information?

Rayner: According to the mother's medical history, there's nothing to indicate that the woman was ever hospitalized for childbirth.

Alexis: Well, maybe it was an in-home birth or she delivered her outside the country.

Rayner: Or she wasn't actually Rebecca's birth mother.

Alexis: I checked. I checked. There was no record of her being adopted.

Rayner: I have reason to believe this was an illegal adoption.

Alexis: Are you sure? Are you sure about this? You sure Rebecca was adopted?

Rayner: There is nothing to indicate that the people who raised Rebecca were related to her. So, what now?

Alexis: So now we try to find out if Rebecca was related to Emily Bowen Quartermaine.

Sonny: Okay, listen to me.

Carly: Hmm?

Sonny: I just want you to know, no matter what, I mean, if you need anything as far as Michael or this baby you're carrying, all you gotta do is ask.

Carly: There is something you can do for me. Something important.

Michael: You're useless! You don't get to tell me what to do.

Robin: Listen to me -- I'm just trying to help you.

Michael: You don't get to order me around!

Jason: It's okay, it's okay.

Michael: Get out!

Robin: Michael, I'm not afraid of you.

Michael: I said get her out now.

Jason: Stop it, now.

Michael: I'm sick of everyone in this hospital telling me what to do.

[Panting]

Jason: Okay -- you keep this up and you're going to make everything worse.

[Rebecca laughs, sighs]

Nikolas: Not exactly the reaction I was looking for.

Rebecca: I've never had an actual roll in the hay.

Nikolas: Are you uncomfortable?

Rebecca: Are you kidding? Your barn is like a four-star hotel.

Nikolas: Well, I suppose I could have asked you up to the main house. I guess I just -- sort of --

Rebecca: Swept me off my feet.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Rebecca: Believe me, I'm not complaining. It's kind of why I came up here, for you to sweep me off my feet.

Nikolas: Well, when you show up like that, you know, beautiful like you did -- what else could I do?

Rebecca: Hey, Nikolas?

Nikolas: Yeah?

Rebecca: I'm really glad I followed my instincts.

Nikolas: Me, too.

Rebecca: Anyway, it was starting to get really stupid. Don't wait around so that your family would approve of me, right?

Nikolas: Well, they don't get a say in this anymore, okay? In fact, we'll make a pact. From now on, we only please ourselves.

Rebecca: And each other.

Nikolas: Yeah.

[Door opens, footsteps]

Alexis: Emily was born in Phoenix to a Paige and a Henry -- Hank Bowen. I believe that Hank died when she was a toddler, and Paige died, I know, when Emily was 11 years old.

Rayner: So she was an orphan.

Alexis: Well, I don't know. She had an aunt, but she wasn't that close to her and they didn't connect. But hear me out. Monica Quartermaine was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she had this treatment done at a treatment center near --

Rayner: Monica Quartermaine -- General Hospital chief of staff.

Alexis: Right. And Emily's mother Paige was also diagnosed at the same time with breast cancer. So they got to know each other in the treatment center, they bonded, they became friends. Friends enough so that when Paige was dying, she asked Monica if she would take care of Emily for her.

Rayner: That's a lot to ask of someone.

Alexis: That's right. And when Emily was 11 years old, her mother died, Monica got better, and Alan and Monica adopted her.

Rayner: Lucky girl.

Alexis: I was so sure that she was not related to Emily, this Rebecca. I swear to God, I thought it was plastic surgery.

Rayner: No, see, there is no evidence in here that Rebecca was ever in a hospital or ever had any plastic surgery. There was an incident where she was in an emergency ward, had several stitches, but that's it.

Alexis: A cut on her hairline?

Rayner: How did you know that?

Alexis: Because that's where I thought the plastic surgery scar was -- God, I'm an idiot. Do you think there's any chance that we'll find Rebecca's birth parents?

Rayner: There's that word again, "we."

Alexis: Well, we've come this far, we might as well go all the way. Oh, God, I didn't mean it the way that I said it.

Rayner: I know what you meant.

[Alexis sighs]

Claudia: Your office said I'd find you here.

Jax: What could you possibly want with me?

Claudia: Remember when you came to me and you asked for my help? You asked me to keep Sonny away from Carly? Well, it's your turn now. You need to keep your wife away from my husband.

Carly: You have to promise me you're going to be careful with Michael.

Sonny: Yes, I will, and I know that it's got to be painful that he's angry at you, not at me.

Carly: Yeah, it is. It really does hurt, but I understand why, and I think I understand it more than you do.

Sonny: But you know he doesn't want to fight with you.

Carly: That's part of it, but he also knows he can get whatever he wants from you.

Sonny: He was in a coma for over a year. I mean, he deserves a little spoiling.

Carly: But it doesn't help Michael for you to give in to your own guilt.

Jason: Just take it easy. Good, take a deep breath.

[Michael breathing deeply]

Jason: Better. Okay.

Michael: I hate it here. I just want to leave.

Robin: Jason can tell you, I know what it's like to be poked and prodded by people that you barely know who are trying to tell you what to do. People that I know and care about have also gone through the same thing. And believe me, I am the worst at admitting that I need help.

Michael: I just want to do the things for myself.

Jason: Just try to hear what Robin's telling you, okay?

Robin: I know that you want to be independent, and you will. What you've just been through is an extremely traumatic experience for your body and for your mind. I mean, you were in a coma for over a year. You don't just wake up from that and walk away like nothing happened. I mean, this is a healing process, and if you keep fighting it, you're going to be in here that much longer.

Michael: You just said it. I spent a year in a coma -- while all the other people I used to know were out, hanging out, playing ball, and going to school. I might as well have been dead. I don't want to waste any more time.

Jason: There's a right way to do this. If you don't let the doctors help you, there's nothing I can do.

Robin: I'm really sorry I upset you, Michael. I didn't mean to do that. I really just want to help you, and, well, if you forget that, then Jason can remind you.

Michael: If you tell my parents this happened, I'm never going to get out of this place.

Rebecca: Thank you.

Nikolas: You're welcome.

Rebecca: I'm starving. Amazing sex always makes me hungry.

Nikolas: Really?

Rebecca: Yeah, really.

Nikolas: Oh, yeah?

Rebecca: What about you?

Nikolas: Uh, it's all right.

Rebecca: Shut up.

Nikolas: You know, I'll tell you what -- I'll ask Alfred where -- where he got it. Maybe he'll toast some up for us for breakfast tomorrow.

Rebecca: Oh. Sounds like you're asking me to spend the night.

Nikolas: Why not?

Rebecca: You know, we don't need to make plans. You know, let's just see what happens moment to moment. There's something to be said for spontaneity, right?

Nikolas: I can be spontaneous.

Alexis: So you can imagine when Rebecca came here in January, it caused quite a stir.

Rayner: Because of her resemblance to Emily.

Alexis: Because of the whole thing.

Rayner: You don't care for Rebecca, do you?

Alexis: It's not that. I just don't trust her. I mean, she didn't want anything to do with Nikolas, and now she wants everything to -- oh, and I forgot to tell you about this. Emily had breast cancer. And then all the sudden, Rebecca has this very conveniently-timed breast cancer scare.

Rayner: You think she faked it?

Alexis: I don't know. The whole thing is just beyond coincidence. And it got even worse when Helena showed up two weeks later.

Rayner: Helena Cassadine. And you're right, she does make interesting reading. I ran a check on her, too.

Alexis: She's a witch.

Rayner: With an extensive criminal record. And due to some clever legal maneuvers, she has immunity from prosecution. That being said, there's nothing to indicate whatsoever that your stepmother had anything to do or ever met Rebecca Shaw.

Claudia: Carly's using Michael. She's using this as an opportunity to spend more time with Sonny.

Jax: You don't want to have this conversation with me, Claudia. In fact, the less you remind me that you exist, the better it would be.

Claudia: Okay. Jax, I just thought that you would want to know that I walked in on them holding each other. In each other's arms. She was literally clinging to Sonny. And I thought, for both of our sakes, maybe you could get you wife under control.

Sonny: I'm definitely not going to make you the bad guy. Michael needs to know that he can't play us against each other, right?

Carly: I hope you're not trying to make me feel better.

Sonny: You just need to know how much Michael loves you, okay? And if he wants to be around his father for a little bit, I don't think there's any harm in that.

Sonny: How's your business situation going, Sonny?

Sonny: Stable, um, you know -- being married to Claudia, what it's done is strengthen my position. You don't have to worry about mob wars, danger. I think what we really need to do is focus on what's best for Michael.

Jason: Both of your parents want you home as soon as you're well enough.

Michael: Everybody's trying to slow me down. The want me to recuperate on their timetable. But I know what I can handle.

Jason: How? You really can't. You can't know. If you don't do this right, your recovery will be affected.

Michael: So now you're telling me that I can't leave?

Jason: No, I'm telling you that it's important that you give yourself the best chance possible at recovery. And Robin said you should slow down a little bit. I trust her. I think it's a good idea for you to listen.

Michael: I feel like a prisoner. Worse. They're all trying to hold me back. Everybody here.

Jason: I'm sure the hospital staff wants you gone as much as you do. All right, so let's figure out how to make this work. How could I make it easy for you?

Michael: I don't know. I hate it so much. The windows don't open. They gotta walk you twice around the quad twice a day for fresh air. People treat you like an idiot. I'm suffocating. And you would be, too.

Jason: I did suffocate. And I fought everybody. It didn't work. So I promise you, as soon as it's safe, I'm going to get you out of here.

Rebecca: So, I was only 11, but I got tired of sitting in the car waiting for my mom to come out of the store, right? So, I took the spare key out of the glove box and I decided that I was going to drive myself home.

Nikolas: At 11?

Rebecca: Yeah, hey, I'd watched other people drive, right? How hard could it be? And I knew that I was going to go really slow, which is exactly what I did. But I hadn't really figured out the reverse thing yet. So -- I drove up the curb and through the window of the store.

Nikolas: Did anyone get hurt?

Rebecca: No. Luckily, no. But it was long, long time before I'd done enough chores to pay off that one. Um -- speaking of driving, I don't think I'm going to be driving myself anywhere tonight. I love this wine.

Nikolas: Yeah, it's good.

Rebecca: What is it?

Nikolas: It's my favorite. I'd be happy to give you a bottle from my cellar if you like.

Rebecca: Oh, that's okay. There's a nice little liquor store right down the street from Kelly's. But they won't have it, will they?

Nikolas: No.

Rebecca: And if they did, it was probably going to cost me a week's salary, right?

Nikolas: I have it sent from France. I'm glad you like it, though.

Rebecca: I can't imagine what it's like to be you.

Rebecca: Are you happy?

Nikolas: At this moment, yes.

Rebecca: But not always? When it's just you, out here with your staff and your past to keep you company, and now you don't even have your little boy.

Nikolas: He's safe, and that's my top priority where my son is concerned.

Rebecca: But don't you feel cut off from the rest of the world?

Nikolas: It's by choice, mostly. I'm not always comfortable with letting people in, you know?

Rebecca: But, Nikolas, I'll let you in on a little secret. I'm really good at climbing those walls. And I'm very careful once I get over the top.

Alexis: Okay -- so much for waiting.

Carly: Hey. I got your message. Sounded really serious.

Jax: Yes, it's critical. You are in desperate need of some healthy food, so I had chef make something for us.

Carly: No, no -- tofu pasta and what, like bran casserole?

Jax: No, no, no, no, it's brown rice -- sit, please -- brown rice with avocado and a nice and easy salad.

Carly: Yum. Avocado?

Jax: Yes, avocado is the perfect food.

Carly: Yeah, if it's mixed with tortilla chips and a margarita. Now, that would be awesome. What are you having?

Jax: I'm having what you're having, because I love you and I wouldn't want you to suffer through this meal all alone.

Carly: You remember that when I'm in labor.

Jax: I will be by your side every step of the way. I promise you that.

Carly: Okay. Distract me from this wonderful meal that you have here for me. What happened with you today?

Jax: Well, Claudia Zacchara came by to see me. I can't stand that bitch.

Claudia: Hi. I downloaded that stuff that you wanted and I put some things on here that I really love.

Michael: Thanks.

Claudia: Want to try that again with enthusiasm? Or you want to tell me what's wrong?

Michael: I hate the food here. It's disgusting.

Claudia: Well, why don't you tell me what it is that you really want that you haven't had yet? Eww.

Michael: Chocolate-chip cookie. You know, one of those big soft ones that are all melty?

Claudia: Done. What else?

Michael: I did something really stupid today. I went off on one of my doctors.

Claudia: Well, you wouldn't have done that if you didn't have a good reason.

Michael: I'm so sick of everyone telling me what to do.

Claudia: Well, if the doctors here are not treating you the way that they should be, you have every right to speak up. But you have to be smart about it, Michael. I mean, you don't want to give them any reason to keep you here longer than necessary, right?

Michael: Any suggestions?

Claudia: Yeah, you have to be the perfect patient. Smile politely, thank everyone for everything. Get the hell out of this dump as quickly as possible.

Michael: That's really smart.

Claudia: It's not that smart, it's just -- it's common sense. I know what it's like to have people up in your face telling you what to do. I grew up like that, and I hated every minute of it, and I would hate for you to feel as helpless as I did.

Michael: You really do understand.

Claudia: You're not that complicated, Michael Corinthos. You're just trying to pick up the pieces so you can put your life back together. The problem is, your father there put a small fortune into this hospital, and so -- when your mother decides that she has to control every single aspect of your recovery, the hospital staff bends over backwards trying to make her happy. The problem is, they don't ask you what you want. And I think that's really unfair.

Robin: Hey, is Emma still with Epiphany?

Patrick: Epiphany went back to work, so I just brought her down to daycare.

Robin: Oh. Well, I'm going to go get her. She's probably scared being in an environment with all those people and neither one of us there.

Patrick: Robin, our daughter isn't afraid of anything.

Robin: See, that's something that you know about Emma that I'm still figuring out.

Patrick: Oh, hey, you're doing great. So is Emma. She was having a blast with the other kids, so I left her there.

Robin: And I'm missing it.

Patrick: Okay, I'll tell you what. You update me on Michael's case, then you can go check on Emma after that. How's that?

Robin: I'm afraid it's not good. Michael is extremely volatile.

Patrick: Okay.  How's it presenting?

Robin: Throwing things, having a fit.

Patrick: Throwing things? You okay?

Robin: I'm fine. It just came out of nowhere. If Jason hadn't come in when he did and calmed him down, I'm afraid he would have spiraled out completely.

Patrick: Okay, what do you think triggered it?

Robin: He hates being in the hospital. Who doesn't? But I am concerned that Michael has had a personality shift. I don't know if it came from the bullet or it was from the surgery.

Patrick: Yeah.

Robin: Anyway, I hope that it's temporary.

Patrick: I agree with that.

Robin: I'd advise a psych consult, and I hate to say it, but I think he should be on medication, even if it's just for the short term. Oh, do I sound like the biggest hypocrite that ever walked?

Patrick: There's nothing hypocritical about it. Antidepressants can save your life.

Jason: Hey, what's up?

Sonny: There's a club down by pier nine, "The Alley."

Jason: Yeah, yeah, it's an after-hours club.

Sonny: It's run by the Zaccharas. And they're messing around. They're not following their orders.

Jason: All right, I'll pay them a visit. Just so you know, uh, Michael had a little bit of a setback today.

Sonny: Ohh.

Jason: No, no, he's fine. He's just not really handling being in the hospital very well. He's was really going off on Robin when I walked in.

Sonny: Why didn't the hospital call me?

Jason: Hold on -- because Robin and I, we took care of the situation.

Sonny: Is he okay? Is Robin okay?

Jason: He's fine, Robin's okay.

Sonny: Nobody's hurt?

Jason: I calmed Michael down.

Sonny: You know he's always had a temper -- he speaks his mind.

Jason: I know that. This is not about him watching his manners. Michael's fighting everybody that's trying to help him. He's not going to listen to anyone.

Nikolas: You don't need to leave, and you need to learn how to knock.

Alexis: The door was open, and it's a stable, Nikolas. I didn't expect to walk in here and see the -- and by the way, I can tell you're a woman of your word. It was your idea to make the agreement, and you didn't keep it, did you?

Rebecca: You win, Alexis. Great, good job. I loved spending the day with you. I loved having sex with you. And I don't want another nasty fight with your weirdly territorial aunt, so I'm going to go, okay?

Nikolas: Okay.

Rebecca: Call me later. Thank you.

Nikolas: Bye.

Nikolas: Don't. I'm not interested in your opinion, I'm a grown man, and I don't regret what happened here tonight.

Alexis: Okay, I can see that. Can I just ask one question? And please don't provide me with any details. Did you and Emily have sex in the stables?

Nikolas: Oh, God.

Alexis: That's what I thought.

Patrick: I feel bad for the kid.

Robin: Michael's been in a coma for a long time. No wonder he feels out of place. I've only been gone a few weeks, and I'm still trying to find my balance. What, you're going to disagree with me now?

Patrick: I'm not going to disagree with you. I just -- it was nice, I mean, I saw something familiar, the way you analyze things.

Robin: You usually disagree with my analysis.

Patrick: Do you want me to disagree with you, Doctor?

Robin: What is up with you?

Patrick: There's nothing up with me -- I'm happy to see you doing your work, caring about a patient.

Robin: Of course I care. I'm a doctor, that's what I do. Well, at least that's what I used to do, and then I didn't -- I don't know, I don't want to overanalyze everything.

Patrick: Okay, so let's don't, then, all right? Thank you for your opinion, and let's just leave it at that.

Robin: Why did you put me on this case?

Patrick: Because you're a wonderful doctor with an incredible mind, and I needed your opinion.

Robin: Mm-hmm. Did you do it to test me?

Patrick: No.

Robin: To patronize me, make sure that I was ready to come back to work?

Patrick: No, I've patronized you before, and I wouldn't do it again -- I learned my lesson on that one.

Robin: Really, no ulterior motive? Come on. Patrick.

Patrick: Okay, maybe you're right about the work thing, at least. I wanted to see if you could, you know, focus on work, and -- I don't know, I miss you, okay? I miss seeing you at work and having my doctor wife and telling me what's right and what's wrong, and usually, you’re always right. And, you know, I wanted to see if you could do it, and -- and you did.

Robin: So I passed your test?

Patrick: So far.

Robin: Oh, really?

Patrick: Yes.

Robin: What else do you have for me, then?

Patrick: Well, see, this probably isn't the right place for this conversation.

Robin: It's where we are.

Patrick: We're good, Robin. We're good, so --

[Pager beeps]

Patrick: You know what? I got to take this.

Sonny: When Michael gets released from the hospital, he's gonna be living at Carly's. If he doesn't have these rages under control, how is he going to deal with his mother, when he feels that she's been pushing his buttons from the minute he woke up?

Jason: That's why you can't rush it.

Sonny: I don't think it's gonna make a difference. Carly and Michael, they have this like incredible bond, but they're so similar. They're stubborn. They're not afraid to fight.

Jason: Which is why -- Carly can't handle this right now.

Sonny: That's what I'm saying. Look, I'm not trying to be selfish here, but I'm reconsidering where he ought to be -- I believe he should live with me. And you need to help me convince Carly that's the right thing to do.

Carly: Claudia. Claudia makes my stomach turn. What is Sonny thinking being married to her? Whatever. You know, it's not my problem. It's not my problem. All that matters is that Sonny agreed that we need to be on the same page when it comes to Michael -- that makes me happy.

Jax: Actually, that's why she came running to me, because she told me that she saw you and Sonny in an embrace. Yeah.

Carly: She's trying to cause problems between us.

Jax: Uh-huh. It's okay, because I trust you.

Carly: I went to see Sonny today.

Jax: And that's fine.

Carly: I did. And she must have been hiding underneath the stairs or something. I don't care what she thinks. All I care about is you and what you think, and I don't want you to be hurt by this at all.

Jax: Oh, I'm not. I'm not hurt, okay. Claudia is a liar. I resent the hell out of her for thinking that she can manipulate us like this. You be careful around her, okay? Seriously.

Carly: You're way more generous than I am. You know what, the more I think about it, the angrier it makes me, because she's deliberately trying to drive a wedge between the two of us. That's one more reason I need to get rid of her.

Claudia: Look, your mother is worried about you, and I can't blame her for that. I think that she looks at you and she still sees that little boy, you know? She doesn't see the young man that you've become. She still thinks of you as her little baby.

Michael: Yeah, she even calls me that.

Carly: And I -- look, I understand why she's protective, Michael. She almost lost you.

Michael: But she didn't.

Claudia: She didn't. Absolutely. And she needs to listen to you. Your mother needs to really hear you, because you're so intelligent, and you're so self-aware. Really, years, years beyond what your actual years are. Everybody, I think, is just so busy looking at your chart that they're not looking at you.

Michael: That's all I've been saying.

Claudia: Well, I'm sorry, I know -- I'm sure it's very frustrating.

Michael: At least you listen to me.

Claudia: Count on it. Just think of me as your backup, okay?

Michael: What's really weird is that my mom told me that she came and visited me every day.

Claudia: Right.

Michael: But I don't remember her voice, not like I remember yours.

Claudia: You remember what I said?

Michael: You were upset. I think you were crying. And you just kept saying how sorry you were.

Robin: You were right. She was having a grand old time in daycare.

Patrick: Yeah, I told you she's an adventurous one.

Robin: Yeah, just like her dad. You know, they say it's good for kids to be around other kids, especially older ones. It teaches them very important things, you know, social skills, stuff like that. You have to keep reminding me of that. So, I guess it's not so bad for Emma to be around other kids, besides the colds and the bugs they pick up from each other.

Patrick: See? That's the benefit of having a daycare here in the hospital.

Robin: You almost finished?

Patrick: Almost. Why?

Robin: Well, I was going to take Emma home, but if you're not finished, we can just walk home.

Patrick: I'm not going to let you walk home, Robin. It's dark outside.

Robin: We'll take your car, then.

Patrick: You're going home?

Robin: Yes. I don't want Emma to get too used to daycare, you know? I'm not so sure how much time I want her to spend there.

Patrick: That's what I just said -- that's one of the benefits of having a daycare here, because you plan on coming back to work, right? You're still planning on coming back to work?

Robin: I don't know.

Patrick: You don't know. Okay, well --

Robin: I'm sorry, I --

Patrick: Okay, I just wish you would talk to me about this kind of stuff.

Robin: Well, it's my decision of whether or not I want to come back to work.

Patrick: You're not coming to any decisions, Robin, about this. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be pushing you like that.

Robin: No, you always do that. Don't shut down. If you want to say something, say it.

Patrick: When I say I miss you, those aren't just words. All right, it's a physical feeling that I have inside of me. I see you here, and I see you working, and you help me on Michael's case, and it's like, God, I remember that. That's the woman that I fell in love with. That's -- that's Dr. Scorpio. And I know that I need to give you space and give you a little bit of time and work all that out, but the thing is, I do miss you, and I want to have you home. I want to hold you. I want to kiss you and make love to you and laugh with you. But I don't know if I can do all that kind of stuff because, Robin, I don't know what you want, 'cause you're not telling me any of that.

Robin: I want to go home with you.

Nikolas: Yes, I made love to Emily in these stables, and on the beach and on the bluffs and probably every other room in this house. If I had to avoid having sex with Rebecca wherever I'd been with Emily, I would have to leave Port Charles.

Alexis: I can't help notice that you make love with Emily, yet with Rebecca, you have sex.

Nikolas: As long as I'm happy, why do you care?

Alexis: Because I think she's lying to you, and I think it's going to go bad and you're going to be devastated.

Nikolas: It's not going to bad. I care about her. She's sweet, she's funny, she's surprising, she's all that.

Alexis: That was what you said about Nadine. You cared about her, too, until Rebecca showed up.

Nikolas: It wasn't right with Nadine.

Alexis: The only difference between Nadine and Rebecca is Emily's face. I want you to be happy, I do. But I don't think Rebecca is the way that you're going to get there. In fact, I think that she's going to hurt you -- or worse.

Rebecca: What are you doing here?

Helena: Well, I had to come back to see you, my dear. We have so much to discuss.

Rebecca: No, we don't.

Helena: Were you raised by wolves? Don't you know it's rude to turn your back when someone is addressing you?

Rebecca: I said I'm not interested in anything you have to say.

Helena: Well, it seems that I've underestimated you. No, I had assumed that you were just a ridiculous little ninny like that dreadful Emily. But you're a far more worthy adversary than I had imagined.

Rebecca: Well, what's that supposed to mean?

Helena: It means that Alexis was half right. You are working a scam, aren't you, my dear? Just not with me.

Jason: You need to talk to Michael about Michael's living arrangements.

Sonny: Okay, Michael is in no condition to make important decisions.

Jason: And that's exactly why this kid is frustrated. Every adult is deciding every aspect of his life without his help. I'm not saying to do what he wants, Sonny, but, you know what, let him have a say. He needs that.

Sonny: Okay, but Carly's the one that's gonna be tougher.

Jason: All I can do is tell you what I think. Michael loses control. He knows that. He's not happy about it. You and Carly and Michael, you guys gotta talk it through together.

Sonny: United front. That's what Carly said.

Jason: So you don't need me to talk to Carly, after all?

Sonny: What, don't you got something you gotta do?

Jason: Yeah, the alley, pier 9.

Sonny: Okay.

Jason: I'll take care of it.

Sonny: Go take care of it.

Jax: I'm sure that under normal circumstances you could defend yourself against Claudia, but these are not normal circumstances.

Carly: Because I'm pregnant.

Jax: Because you're pregnant. That's right, and you need to take care of yourself and the baby.

Carly: I promise you I won't do anything to jeopardize either one of us, but someone has to take care of Claudia, and if it's not me, who's gonna do it? Because Sonny's not gonna do it.

Jax: Could you just leave it alone? Could you please leave it alone and just focus on yourself?

Carly: If I'm not careful, by the time Claudia's baby is born, she is going to be so entrenched in Michael's life, I won't be able to pry her away with a crowbar.

[Dance music plays]

Kristina: London was great, especially the clubs. We were staying with friends of my mom's and they had no idea I was sneaking out.

[All laughing]

[Chatter]

Kristina: Hey, let go of me.

Jason: Back off, man.

Man: What?

Jason: Let's go.

Carly: I guess this falls under the category of be careful what you wish for.

Jax: Right.

Carly: Kate was a snob, but if Sonny married Kate, I mean, she'd just be annoying. Claudia is a totally different kind of animal. And I'm not worried about Sonny, because he made his choice. He can suffer the consequences. But Michael -- Michael is vulnerable, and she's working way too hard to be a part of his life.

Jax: I'm sure she thinks it will keep her in good stead with Sonny, so --

Carly: There's more to it. There is. She has an agenda. I just want to know what it is.

Sonny: Claudia, what are you --

Sonny: Where's Michael? Where the hell is my son?

Claudia: He's gone.

Toussaint: Where are you going?
