Nikolas: I think you may need this.

Rebecca: So what's your excuse for showing up this time?

Nikolas: I don't need an excuse. I'm on the board, remember?

Rebecca: And you had a meeting?

Nikolas: That's right.

Rebecca: Is it just me or do you tend to show up whenever I'm on duty?

Nikolas: It's just you.

Elizabeth: You know that deal you made with Rebecca and Nikolas? No sexual contact for two weeks while you had her investigated?

Alexis: I should have been a little more specific.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I'm guessing you haven't found anything.

Alexis: Not yet. But I will.

Physical therapist: That's plenty for today.

Michael: No.

Physical therapist: Michael, stop.

Michael: No, I don't want to stop.

Physical therapist: Our goal is to gradually build up your strength.

Michael: Your goal is to get me the hell out of this hospital. If you can't, I'll find someone who can.

Carly: The junk food is not for me.

Jason: I know that.

Carly: It's for Michael.

Jason: Did he ask for all this stuff?

Carly: No, but he's going to like it.

Jason: Carly, I just told you to him come to you --

Carly: No, come on, come on. He's going to be angry with me no matter what I do, okay? But I'm just going to make sure that Michael knows, and everyone who walks in this room knows, who his family really is.

Claudia: Why don't you pull the curtains down first? Yeah.

Sonny: What are you doing?

Claudia: Oh, the painters, the carpenters, they're all coming today. They're going to get the furniture out of here and --

Sonny: No, no, no. Nobody's taking the furniture.

Claudia: What are you talking about? We talked about this a long time ago, you said I could do whatever I wanted.

Sonny: But I thought you were talking about a chair. I don't want you tearing the whole house apart.

Claudia: Sonny, if Michael's going to spend time here --

Sonny: I want Michael to remember this place the way it was.

Claudia: This room is too dark. It's depressing.

Sonny: I don't care. Carly decorated the place. She knows exactly what I like.

Claudia: Good, awesome. Well, Carly doesn't live here. I do. Will you excuse us for a second? I'm sorry.

[Sonny sighs]

Claudia: You're punishing me. You know that?

Sonny: I'm punishing you, for what?

Claudia: Because Michael is more comfortable with me than he is with his own mother, because I make him laugh, because I'm the one he remembers.

Sonny: What does Michael remember about you, Claudia?

Michael: You're supposed to help me get strong again, so do it. Let's go.

Physical therapist: You've had enough for today.

Michael: You don't know what you're talking about. Do you know who my father is? I'm going to call him and he'll explain to you why you do what I tell you.

Monica: Nobody is calling anybody. This session is over.

Michael: I want to keep going.

Monica: I will take it from here, okay? Thank you.

Michael: I'm not going back to that room.

Monica: I know you're frustrated.

Michael: That therapist is holding me back.

Monica: Okay, well, then we can reevaluate your treatment. We can call Patrick and the team and --

Michael: I just want to get out of here.

Monica: And that's what we want, Michael, very much. But if you push yourself too hard, it's only going to make things worse. The idea is to work your muscles then let them rest. Then build on what you have done the day before, gradually, day by day. But if you overdo it, you'll hurt yourself and you'll be right back where you started.

Michael: I hate this place.

Monica: I know you do.

Michael: Then get me out.

Carly: I ran into Claudia last night on her way into Michael's room. I'm sure she was going to try to talk him out of coming home with me.

Jason: Did she get to him?

Carly: No, I ran her off. But I'm sure she snuck back in later. I just want to remind Michael that he had a great life and a great home and a family before Claudia showed up, and he's going to have an even better life after he comes home with me.

Jason: Listen, I personally believe that Michael will be better off with you and Jax, but you know how angry he gets. Can you even deal with that right now?

Carly: I was married to Sonny. I think I can handle anger.

Jason: Carly, it's a different situation right now.

Carly: I know. And I know that Michael is only coming home because of Morgan. I know he's not coming home because of me. That's fine. But I also know down deep that Michael loves me and he knows that I love him.

Jason: Okay, good, then you know not to push him too hard.

Carly: Yeah, I know, but I'm also not going to let Claudia take advantage of him so she can get close to Sonny or for whatever reason she's doing this.

Jason: You don't have to worry about that right now.

Carly: Why? Why don't I have to worry about that?

Jason: Because I'm going to take care of it.

Carly: What do you have on Claudia?

Claudia: It's hard living under constant suspicion, knowing everything I say is going to be used against me.

Sonny: You brought it up. I'm just asking what Michael remembers about you.

Claudia: Michael remembers that I was the enemy. I think it's amazing how open he is to the entire situation. I never in a million years expected him to be closer to me than he is to his own mother.

Sonny: This has nothing to do with why you're changing the room.

Claudia: Well, my father never let me move anything, either. He never let me choose anything. And I thought it was going to be different here. That's what you said.

Sonny: Carly fixed this place up just the way I like it.

Claudia: Okay, so in other words --

Sonny: Yeah?

Claudia: You feel terrible about the way that Michael is treating Carly. And on some level you think that if you let me redecorate this room, that's a betrayal against her, right? I think that's sweet, Sonny, that you want to protect Carly because of Michael turning against her --

Sonny: First of all, Michael didn't turn against her. He's dealing with a medical condition.

Claudia: He can barely stand to be in the same room with her.

Sonny: Michael was closer to Carly than anybody, you know, he's ever been, okay? And no matter what craziness he was going through, he knows that she loves him and that she'll be there for him. They've lost that connection, and I just think that's sad.

Claudia: I think it's sad, too. I just also think it would be easier for everyone if Michael was living with us.

Sonny: Michael wants to be closer to his brother. Carly wants him there. I am not getting in the middle of it.

Claudia: I feel bad for Carly, Sonny. I truly do. It must be awful for her to know that Michael's more comfortable with me than he is with her.

Sonny: Michael will come around.

Luke: Hey, dodge, you here?

Ethan: A bit clandestine, don't you think?

Luke: I got everything we need right here.

Ethan: You sure Tracy didn't follow you?

Luke: No, she's working out with trainer.

Ethan: That's lovely.

Luke: Yeah, I know. Barbells or bar tabs. You can keep your weights, hoist me a libation. We need to get this set up and done before she does her last set of crunches.

Ethan: I can't believe you can buy one of those over the counter.

Luke: Yeah, well, all it needs is a cheek swab from each of us and then they check it against the 16 markers the FBI uses for DNA, at least that's what it says here on the box, and we can check the results online.

Ethan: I don't know. This sounds like it could be trouble.

Luke: Second thoughts?

Ethan: No more than the usual. I don't know. Before we do this, let's just get a few things straight.

Nikolas: Again, I'm sorry things got out of hand the other day. I just wanted to go sailing and then have a nice dinner. Instead, you almost drowned and my friends and family showed up to attack you.

Rebecca: Well, you know, they love you, Nikolas. They get to be concerned about you, even though they're obnoxious about it. It really doesn't bother me that much anymore.

Nikolas: I'm just trying to remember why it was a good idea to abstain for two weeks while Alexis tries to dig dirt up on you.

Rebecca: Yeah, I've been wondering the exact same thing.

Nikolas: It was your dumb idea.

Rebecca: I guess I got a little carried away because I really had nothing to prove.

Nikolas: Neither do I.

Epiphany: Ms. Shaw?

Nikolas: Okay.

Epiphany: You should have reviewed these results 10 minutes ago. And I suggest that you take a look at the employee manual on appropriate behavior in the work place. Mr. Cassadine, I'm sure that you don't want to make this hospital vulnerable to any type of litigation.

Nikolas: No, no, absolutely not, nurse. And you're right, but I really don't think that we have anything to worry about.

Elizabeth: You see what Rebecca's doing, don't you?

Alexis: Making a fool out of my nephew?

Elizabeth: Well, yes, but look at her. What's different?

Alexis: Hair's the same. At least she's not wearing light blue today.

Elizabeth: So you've seen the Emily impersonation, too?

Alexis: I was at Wyndemere. When I walked in, she was wearing this light blue top that looked like it had just come right out of Emily’s closet.

Elizabeth: Lucky and I saw her after she got back from sailing, and she just managed to get herself wet and took off all of her makeup and was wearing one of Emily’s robes.

Alexis: See, that's it. She's not wearing all that eye makeup anymore.

Elizabeth: She's trying to look like Emily.

Alexis: That's great. And my nephew is falling for it.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, she needs to be stopped.

Luke: As far as I'm concerned, you are my kid. I've known that on some level for a long time now, but, see, need to know exactly the truth and that's what the test is for.

Ethan: Well, okay, just what if -- assuming I am your son -- something unexpected arose?

Luke: Meaning?

Ethan: Well, you're a Spencer. I mean, you know as well as I do that things aren't always quite what they seem.

Luke: Nothing's as it seems, it seems.

Ethan: Okay, so we won't have any problems then?

Luke: No. I mean, if you're going to stick around this town, you'll probably find out a lot of stuff about me you don't like.

Ethan: Okay, I can say the same.

Luke: Excellent. Then we're even. No expectations, no judgments. And if whatever you're talking about turns up, and that's totally up to you, I got your back. We'll face it together.

Ethan: I hope that's true.

Patrick: Are the labs up on Michael Corinthos? Robin and I are going to review them from the beginning.

Epiphany: Well, I thought you did that the other night when you dragged all his records home with you.

Patrick: Yeah, we tried. It's just a little hard to concentrate with a baby in the house, not that I'm complaining. It's just easier to focus here at work, and I need Robin's take on a drug protocol for Michael.

Robin: Hi.

Epiphany: The daycare center is on the fourth floor.

Patrick: Yeah, I know that. What -- is everything okay with Mercedes?

Robin: Yeah, she's fine. She's just running a couple of errands. I just wanted to spend more time with Emma because I've missed so much.

Patrick: Okay, but you know we have a lot of reviewing to do.

Robin: Yes, I know and I knew you wouldn't mind. She's going to be fine. Right? Aren't you, sweetie?

Rebecca: Hi, ladies. So where would you like me to work so that you can get the best view? I know you were looking at me before, and you're welcome to eavesdrop anytime.

Alexis: No, I'll wait for the warrant for that.

Rebecca: I haven't broken any laws and I don't plan to -- as disappointing as that may be, Alexis.

Elizabeth: You know, going after Nikolas isn't just cruel, it's bizarre.

Rebecca: Do you know what's bizarre? That you both want Nikolas to remain faithful to a dead woman.

Monica: Michael, if you fall, you're going to have to stay here that much longer.

Michael: Then I won't fall.

Monica: Do you realize that your muscles have been inactive for over a year?

Michael: I won't get stronger by just sitting around.

Monica: You will get stronger if you allow yourself to rest, then build on the muscles, then rest some more.

Michael: No.

Monica: Come on, Michael. I know this is frustrating.

Michael: Yeah? Have you ever been in a coma? Have you ever had to learn how to walk all over again?

Monica: No, but I have watched my son Jason go through something similar.

Michael: Yeah, and he hated it so much that he trashed his room and threw a chair out the window.

Monica: I know. I was there. And I am very glad that he is here for you, to help you go through what you're going through.

Michael: Don't tell me to be grateful, all right?

Monica: Well, I'm going to because I think you should be grateful. If you're not, it's only going to make things worse for you. I had breast cancer, Michael. I'm really grateful that I am alive, and I know what it's like to wake up and feel that you've lost everything and be scared to death that you're not going to get it back, just be terrified. Well, you are going to get it back, Michael, if you just be calm and you take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, one P.T. session at a time.

Michael: Dr. Drake says that I'll be in here for at least two more weeks. Does that make sense to you?

Monica: Come on, Michael. What is two weeks in the whole scheme of things?

Michael: A lot if you just lost a whole year.

Monica: And I would like nothing more than to give you back that year, I really would, but that isn't the way it's going to work. So what you've got to do is you've got to calm down. You've got to follow your treatment. You're in a good hospital with good people. Come on, Michael. Let us just help you, please.

Michael: Okay, I'll go back to my room now.

Monica: Thank you.

Sonny: Are you standing up? That's fantastic.

Michael: Thanks.

Monica: Yes, well, Michael has just had a really strenuous P.T. session. He needs to rest.

Michael: I'm not tired.

Sonny: Okay, but if the doctor says you need to rest, you're going to rest. Now, Dr. Drake says it's going to be, what, two weeks?

Monica: Yes.

Michael: If I work really hard, I know I can be home sooner than that, Dad. Promise me. Promise me that if I do everything I can, you'll make Dr. Drake let me go home in one week max.

Carly: If you have something on Claudia, tell me now.

Jason: I told you not to worry about that.

Carly: In other words, it's really good.

Jason: Carly, you need to focus on taking care of yourself.

Carly: Come on, don't you want me to help you dig up stuff --

Jason: No, I don't want you to help me. Just leave it alone.

Carly: Jason, I need a distraction. I need a safe place to put this frustration so I don't take it out on Michael. I don't want to make the same mistake that Alan and Monica made with you.

Jason: Okay, good, see? You're aware of that. What you need to do is not push Michael too hard. And when he gets mad, Carly, you don't take it personally. If you start taking it personally and you feel like your under pressure, maybe we need to think about different living arrangements with Michael.

Carly: No.

Jason: Just until the baby's born.

Carly: The baby's fine. I'm fine. I'm not going to have a stroke, okay? And if Michael doesn't like any of this stuff, I'll just get it out of here.

Jason: You know that Michael is going to be healing for a while and he's not thinking very clearly at the moment?

Carly: I know that, and that's a perfect time for Claudia to slither her way in.

Jason: And I told you not to worry about that.

Carly: This must be pretty good or you would tell me.

Jason: You need to take care of yourself. I'm going to deal with Claudia.

Olivia: Hey, there. I'm here for those supply receipts.

Johnny: Hey, how's it going?

Olivia: Hey, how's it going for you?

Johnny: I'm not sure you want to know the answer to that one.

Olivia: Oh, people still sweating you, huh?

Johnny: We probably shouldn't discuss it.

Olivia: Right. Well, you're a better person than you give yourself credit for, John. Me, on the other hand, I don't mind giving people exactly what they deserve.

Claudia: Hey, whore, get your hands off my brother.

Elizabeth: Losing the eye makeup is a nice touch.

Rebecca: Are you the makeup police now?

Elizabeth: You never hated being compared to Emily at all, did you? Just a way to figure out who would care, who was vulnerable. Bet you must be feeling really safe now, because you're turning yourself into Emily.

Rebecca: What if I was?

Nikolas: Fire the new groom.

Alfred: But, Master Nikolas --

Nikolas: Alfred, this saddle is a mess. It's supposed to be cleaned every single day, and it's got mud and dust on it and the bridle was a mess the last time I rode. I had to clean the bit before I could even use it. And I literally have to look for every piece of tack that I use in here. Is it that difficult to put things back where they belong?

Alfred: Might I make a suggestion, sir?

Nikolas: I obviously don't have a choice, do I?

Alfred: As regarding Ms. Shaw, perhaps you should either refrain from inviting her to Wyndemere all together or invite her to spend the night. Having her for dinner only does nothing for your temper, if I may be so bold.

Carly: Digging up dirt on Claudia would be really good for me.

Jason: We're not having this discussion.

Carly: Whatever you know about her, does Sonny know?

Jason: Did you hear what I just said? If you start thinking like this, your blood pressure is going to go crazy, you know?

Carly: That's exactly what Jax said when I wanted to have sex.

Jason: Okay, that's too much information.

Carly: The point is it helped me, okay? And I had to go get a doctor's note.

Jason: To have sex?

Carly: I need a diversion, okay? I need a diversion and if you don't let me help you, it's probably going to make me so stressful that I'm going to have to go snooping around on my own.

Jason: No, no --

Carly: So there you go. Okay.

Jason: Carly, I mean it.

Carly: I said okay.

Michael: Guess what?

Carly: Hey.

Michael: Dad saw me walking.

Carly: That's awesome.

Michael: I mean, I was on those rails and I was taking pretty small steps, but --

Sonny: He swears he's going to be out of here in a week.

Claudia: What is it going to take to keep you away from my brother? Should I get my checkbook?

Johnny: Back off. Back off, Claudia.

Claudia: Next time you want to have sex, call a hooker.

Olivia: Are you always this interested in your little brother's sex life? Just curious.

Claudia: Stay away from him. I will make you sorry, Olivia.

Johnny: If anything happens to Olivia, I will bury you. I mean it, Claudia. You know exactly what I'm talking about.

Sonny: Let's go, buddy. All right, you got it. All right.

Michael: I mean, the physical therapy was all right, I guess, but it's obvious that he has the same routine for everyone.

Jason: Well, he's just following the treatment plan.

Michael: Do you ever follow the treatment plan? Don't you walk out of the hospital any time you feel like it?

Sonny: Ah, he's got a point there.

Michael: I want you to find me a therapist who can push me a lot harder.

Sonny: Okay, look, I want to do that, but our goal, all of us, is to see you out of here as soon as possible --

Jason: Sonny, could I speak to you in the hall for a second?

Sonny: Yeah.

Michael: Uh-oh, I'm in trouble now.

[Sonny laughs]

Sonny: I'll be right back, all right?

Michael: I saw that look you gave Jason.

Carly: And?

Michael: You want him to tell Dad not to make the doctors let me out of here early.

Carly: Sonny doesn't give orders to doctors. You're going to get out of here when you're ready to leave.

Michael: Look, if you and Jax don't want me to come home, it's no problem. I understand. You're just going to need to make up a lie for Morgan, and I'll go home with Dad and Claudia.

Jason: I don't know, Sonny. I think Michael should stay in the hospital until the doctors say he's ready to leave.

Sonny: If Michael feels he needs a physical therapist to push him harder, I'm going to say something.

Jason: Could he be working you?

Sonny: He's been in a hospital bed for over a year. He wants out. Do you blame him? When you were in a hospital bed, you woke up, you wanted out.

Jason: But what if he goes home too early and he loses it like I did? Do you think Carly is in a situation where she can handle that at this point? And what if Morgan sees him? How do you think Michael is going to feel if he scares his mom or his little brother?

Sonny: You think I'm going to jeopardize Michael's recovery and put Carly at risk? He lost a year of his life, nearly died because of my stupidity. I just want to make things easier for him, trust what he's telling me.

Jason: You just -- you've got to ask yourself, is it out of guilt? If it is, it's not fair to Michael.

Sonny: I don't want to have this discussion with you. I just saw my son standing. It was a miracle. If he wants to push himself harder to get out of here, then I'm not going to stop that. He needs to know that I'm on his side, that I love him and support him no matter what.

Claudia: I can't believe that you would threaten me in front of that piece of trash.

Olivia: Johnny, Johnny. I don't need you to fight my battles for me, all right? And as for you? You come and get me -- any time.

Claudia: What the hell's the matter with you? Are you going to tell Olivia that I'm responsible for Michael's shooting, John? Is that what you're going to do?

Johnny: I can't keep living like this, Claudia.

Claudia: Don't you dare say that after everything I've done for you.

Johnny: Okay, there are too many lies that have been told, too many innocent people involved. We need to tell the truth now before any more lives get ripped up.

Claudia: John, you're scaring me.

Johnny: I mean it.

Claudia: Johnny, we have always protected each other. I would take a bullet for you. And you're just, what, you're going to throw that away for nothing? We're fine. We're doing okay, John.

Johnny: Doing okay?

Claudia: Yeah.

Johnny: You're delusional. Jason has proof that you strapped that bomb to Jerry's car.

Claudia: So what? He's not going to use it as long as I'm pregnant with Sonny's kid. And Michael is on my side.

Johnny: Okay, those are two more kids who don't need to be sacrificed. It is wrong, Claudia.

Alexis: You asked me to lunch. It's past lunchtime.

Agent Rayner: I have a good excuse.

Alexis: Do tell.

Agent Rayner: Just as I was leaving, one of my agents came up with some excellent information on Rebecca Shaw.

[Alexis gasps]

Alexis: Hand it over.

Agent Rayner: That depends on how our date goes.

Alexis: Date?

Agent Rayner: Wine list, please.

Elizabeth: You're not even going to deny it anymore, are you?

Rebecca: Why bother? You're going to believe what you want.

Elizabeth: I am not going to stand here and watch you steal Emily Quartermaine’s life, and you aren't going to get away with hurting Nikolas.

Rebecca: Oh, goody. Is this where you pack up your little brownies and rush to the rescue?

Elizabeth: God, you're such a selfish little witch.

Rebecca: If you really loved Nikolas, you'd be glad that he's happy, that he's not wandering around in that gloomy mausoleum just pining away for a dead woman.

Elizabeth: You're right. He does need to move on with his life, but not with you.

Rebecca: You're the problem, Elizabeth. You and Alexis are holding him back, and I'm going to help him move on. And no one is going to stop me.

Ethan: So you think the test results will be secure online?

Luke: As long as Tracy doesn't find out about it. Now we're just numbers, and nobody's going to know anything.

Ethan: Well, I still don't understand why this means so much to you.

Luke: Don't make me get all existential on your ass this early in the day, please.

Ethan: I just don't want you to be disappointed, that's all.

Luke: Well, why would I -- I'm not going to be disappointed. Look, I understand. If the results come back as I think they will and proves you're a Spencer once and for all, the first instinct that you're going to have is to hit the road. And that's okay, because you don't want to hang out here for all this inevitable family hassle. Am I right?

Ethan: Yeah, that's about the size of it.

Tracy: Good afternoon. Oh, I don't like the look of that at all.

Luke: Oh, how are you? Got all of those little endorphins swimming around in there?

Tracy: Skip the charm. What are you up to?

Tracy: You're hiding something.

Luke: I'm an innocent lamb. You want a Bloody Mary?

Tracy: Actually, I just paid a fortune to work out with a gorgeous young gym rat. Don't want to ruin it with alcohol.

Luke: Coffee?

Tracy: No, thanks. What are you hiding? There -- wait, he picked something up. I saw that.

Ethan: I'm sorry to disappoint you, Tracy.

Tracy: Don't call me that.

Luke: Well, what do you want him to call you?

Ethan: Look, I liked it back when you liked me, Mrs. Spencer. It was a lot more fun.

Luke: Would it kill you to be a little nicer to the kid?

Tracy: You know, he presumably just got reunited with his long-lost parents. Why isn't he happier?

Luke: He was, until you walked in and started the third degree.

Tracy: He's up to something.

Luke: Hey, everybody's up to something, especially my kids.

Tracy: If in fact he is one of your kids.

Luke: I know he is.

Tracy: Really? Okay, so then tell me this. When you leave the next time, are you planning on taking him with you, or are you going to leave him here for me to take care of?

Rebecca: Nikolas.

Alexis: Hmm, a drinkable white wine, a nice salad, spring greens -- love those. Entree is coming any minute. Yeah, that constitutes a date. Now, tell me everything you know about Rebecca Shaw.

Agent Rayner: Tell me about yourself.

Alexis: Oh, God, really?

Agent Rayner: Mm-hmm.

Alexis: Okay, I guess I have to because my nephew's future depends on it, right?

Agent Rayner: I understand.

Alexis: I already told you that I have terrible taste in men -- really bad. Seriously bad. Frightening.

Agent Rayner: Do I qualify, I wonder?

Alexis: Are you a homicidal maniac?

Agent Rayner: No.

Alexis: Well, there, you lose.

Agent Rayner: You have at least one child.

Alexis: Yes, the one that you tried to keep her P.I. license from.

Agent Rayner: And you have a child by Sonny Corinthos.

Alexis: Oh, God, yes, all right? I do. I have another one with his brother, okay? Let me tell you, if you even remotely have any interest in me, I am suggesting that you consider the fate of the ones that went before, and it isn't pretty, all right? I'm a bad idea. I strongly suggest that you don't walk -- run.

Johnny: I will not live my life like this, Claudia. I will not destroy the lives of children, not even to protect you.

Claudia: I'm not destroying anybody, Johnny. I genuinely like Michael. And he likes me, and even the doctor said that's good for him.

Johnny: Do you even hear how twisted that is?

Claudia: Why? Sonny and I and our baby, and Michael -- we can be a family. We can be a real family. We just have to get Carly out of the way.

Sonny: I thought I might find you here.

Carly: Great, then you know what I'm worried about.

Sonny: Uh, yes. I know that Michael is trying to work me. And he wants to get out of the hospital sooner than later, and he thinks I can make that happen. How are you feeling?

Carly: Nice try, changing the subject.

Sonny: No, I'm -- okay, thank you.

Carly: I'm fine. I'm feeling fine, and I can't wait for Michael to come home. But that call is up to his doctor, not you, and certainly not Michael.

Sonny: I understand that.

Carly: Really?

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Carly: Or do you feel so guilty that you're just going to let Michael get away with anything?

Sonny: What happened to Michael is my fault. I'm going to feel guilty about it. I'm entitled to that.

Carly: Sonny, we all made choices that put Michael in that warehouse. We need to make better choices now, choices that aren't based on guilt. We need to do what's best for Michael, not what's going to make us feel better.

Sonny: Michael wants to get out of the hospital early. He is looking forward for the rest of his life.

Carly: Yeah, Michael was in pain today. He's resting now. He was covering earlier.

Sonny: He is pushing himself a little too hard, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.

Carly: Really? He's playing us against each other just like he always did, except we can't let him get away with it on something this important. Michael needs us to be a united front, Sonny.

Patrick: Hey, how are you feeling?

Michael: Really well.

Patrick: Good.

Michael: Hi, Robin.

Robin: Hi. It's so good to see you, Michael. You have no idea.

Patrick: Robin is going to be consulting on your case, Michael.

Robin: Yes, and just very glad that I'm able to help you.

Michael: No offense, but why do I need another doctor?

Patrick: Well, you can just think of it as a team. I do the surgery and then she follows up with the drug protocol, and I trust her completely.

Michael: Okay, then.

Patrick: Okay. Well, I'll check on you later. I'm going to go finish up my rounds, all right?

Robin: Oh, could you check on Emma?

Patrick: Yeah, Epiphany said she was going to keep an eye on her.

Robin: It's always good to double check.

Patrick: Okay.

Michael: Who's Emma?

Robin: Oh, she's my baby girl -- or our baby girl. Patrick and I got married a few months ago.

Michael: You were Jason's girlfriend once, weren't you?

Robin: Yes, I'm surprised you remember that. It was a long time ago. Okay, I'm going to see how your P.T. is going, okay?

Robin: Does that hurt?

Michael: Uh, a little. It's no big deal.

Robin: Okay.

Robin: Okay, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst, how much pain were you in?

Michael: Uh, negative 1, I just said, it's not a problem.

Robin: Okay, I'm going to check your shoulder now.

Michael: Okay. Easy, okay?

Robin: Okay, I am going to prescribe an anti-inflammatory and talk to your physical therapist about slowing things down a bit.

Michael: No, no.

Robin: I think he's pushing you a little too hard.

Michael: Nobody's pushing me, okay? I want to get out of here, and you can't stop me.

Sonny: I just don't want to get all strict with Michael. That's how this all got started in the first place.

Carly: Like when you told him if you caught him with a gun, he should just run and keep on running?

Sonny: I set a bad example, and I blamed him.

Carly: Okay, you went a little overboard. You were tough, but you weren't wrong. I mean, sometimes parents have to lay down the law.

Sonny: I just don't think right now is the right time, you know? I think he just needs love and support.

Carly: So we just let him get away with whatever he wants? We can't do that.

Sonny: He's been in bed for over a year. I mean, the kid -- you know, he just wants to walk around.

Carly: We all want him to walk around.

Sonny: And I want him to walk around.

Carly: Yes, we all do, but he has to follow the doctor's orders, because if he doesn't, he could be worse off than he is now.

Sonny: All right, I see what you're saying.

Carly: No, no, you don't. You're just saying that because you heard enough, but you're not going to change anything.

Sonny: I'm concerned about Michael going home with you, that's the truth.

Carly: Michael is his old self when he's with Morgan, and I am just trying to build on that, Sonny, that's it.

Sonny: What if he gets angry?

Carly: He's probably going to get angry with me. It's a side effect of the surgery. I get that. And I also believe that down deep, Michael loves me and he knows I love him.

Sonny: I can give him a home here, too.

Carly: The boys can come and visit you whenever they want, but you need to remember that Michael is more vulnerable than he looks. He's a long way from being well.

Sonny: I know, I know. Things are going to be tough for everybody.

Carly: We need to be on the same page for Michael.

Sonny: Okay, all right, good.

Carly: Can we give him that?

Sonny: Yes, we can. Can I get a hug?

Carly: Oh, yeah.

[Carly sighs]

Robin: I understand that you want to get out of the hospital, but it's my job that when you do, I can make sure you stay out.

Michael: I know. I will.

Robin: You had excellent care when you were in a coma, but a certain amount of atrophy is inevitable.

Michael: That's why I need to move around.

Robin: Okay, look, you have to give yourself some time.

Michael: Time? What do you mean? Do you have any idea how long I've been in this bed?

Robin: I'm going to prescribe you some pain medication along with an anti-inflammatory.

Michael: You just want to drug me up so I'll do whatever you say.

Robin: No, that's not it, okay? If you just can learn to be patient with yourself, if you --

Michael: Shut up, okay? Get the hell out!

Robin: Okay, Michael --

Michael: You don't know anything, you idiot!

Robin: I know that it's frustrating, okay?

Michael: Put it down, okay?

Robin: Calm down.

Michael: No!

Robin: Michael, just calm down now and let go.

Michael: Get the hell out! You don't know what you're talking about!

Jason: Hey, hey, hey, Michael, stop.

Agent Rayner: My personal life has been a bit chaotic as well, but I'm not a homicidal maniac.

Alexis: Darn, and things were going so well. I really need that information now on Rebecca Shaw.

Agent Rayner: As of this afternoon, I've discovered that Ms. Shaw was illegally adopted. She is a black market baby.

Nikolas: If you want to honor that two-week rule, you should leave right now.

Rebecca: I don't care what anyone thinks. I want you.

Singer: They say a picture's worth a thousand words but a thousand seems like none when I think about the way you look tonight to know you is extraordinary to love you is divine and all the reasons I could give would blow your mind oh, all those silly thoughts inside your head telling you all the things I've never said oh, I could never think to lead you on let me say one last thing before I'm done your smile lights up my living room your sun bright as a day in June your sun could warm the coldest night your smile and I know every little thing would be all right. All right
