Edward: You've certainly been quiet all evening.

Monica: Oh, well, I can't get Michael out of my mind. I keep thinking of all the steps that led up to his coma and all the ways that we might have prevented it.

Edward: No use beating yourself up about it. We're still left with what is.

Monica: You know for one brief moment, I even allowed myself to think that maybe he would recover, even though I know as a doctor -- God, Edward, we should have fought harder for him. Instead, we sat here passively and let Sonny take a Quartermaine out of this house. What were we thinking?

Tracy: All right, where is she?

Monica: Well, I'm fine, Tracy. Thank you very much for asking.

Tracy: If you are hiding that happy home wrecker --

Edward: No one knows what you're going on so about, Tracy.

Tracy: Oh, I certainly hope that butter-wouldn't-melt look on your face is for real, because I consider it a huge betrayal if you are harboring Holly Sutton.

Edward: Holly is back?

Luke: I thought she might have come here.

Monica: What for?

Luke: The five star accommodations. And because I'm here.

Holly: Thanks.

Patrick: Well, let me get a good look at you. Gorgeous as ever.

Holly: You, too.

Patrick: Thank you.

Holly: What a lovely house.

Patrick: Yeah, thank you. Yeah, we like it. So anyways, what brings you into town?

Holly: Well, I'm having a bit of a personal crisis. It happens to be centered in Port Charles, so I came here thinking I'd be able to quickly dispatch the problem, but I'm not sure it's going to be that simple. And I was hoping I could stay with you for a day or two?

Claudia: Do you understand, John, what just happened? Michael is awake. I have to get in there.

Johnny: Are you out of your mind, Claudia? This poor kid just wakes up after being in a coma for a year, and the first thing you want to do is to barge in there and start grilling him in front of all the people who want us dead if they find out what we did?

Claudia: Information is power, John. If Michael remembers what I said, I need to know that. I don't want to be blindsided.

Johnny: Okay, Claudia, what if you create suspicion where it doesn't exist?

Claudia: Then I'll have to be extra careful that I don't do that.

Carly: Not once -- not once did I give up hope that you were going to come back to me, and you have. You have. I knew, I knew, I knew this was going to happen, Michael. I'm so happy. I'm so happy to have you back.

Ethan: I'm probably never going to find out if Luke is my father.

Lulu: Why not?

Ethan: There are just too many scoundrels in the mix. You know, there's Luke, Holly, Tracy -- each with their own agenda. You know, sometimes the agenda is hidden, sometimes it's not. It's like, even if we did take another DNA test and the results were positive, how could I trust that?

Lulu: Well, you have a point. How do you feel about this? I mean, my dad being your dad and Holly being your mom changes things, not necessarily in a good way.

Ethan: I don't know how to feel. I never gave a second thought to who my real parents might be. But now if this is true, if Luke really is my father, then I've got a lot of questions to ask the elusive Holly Sutton.

Holly: How lovely. You and Robin got married.

Patrick: Yes, we did. Not only that, we have a baby also.

Holly: A boy or a girl?

Patrick: Girl, a beautiful girl, Emma.

Holly: I've always loved that name. Congratulations.

Patrick: Thank you.

Holly: Is Robin upstairs with the baby?

Patrick: Actually, Robin is out of town at the moment, sort of a sabbatical. So it's just me and Emma, and my brother Matt who moved in. He doesn't have any experience whatsoever with children, but decided I couldn't manage on my own. So -- and we also have two rotating nannies that are here every once in a while, but you won't even see them.

Holly: It's very kind of you to open your home to me.

Patrick: Well, that's what friends do, isn't it?

Holly: It's what you hope for. If you don't mind my asking, you said that Robin is on a sabbatical. I'm not sure what that means.

Patrick: She's flying solo for a little bit.

Holly: Well, every new mother deserves a break. It is the most all-consuming experience. I mean, to carry another human being inside you for nine months, then laboring to get them out. Then the reality of actually looking after the baby, living, breathing --

Patrick: Crying, pooping -- yes, everything is involved and it definitely changes. Unfortunately, it was a little happier for me than Robin, I'm sorry to say.

Holly: What's wrong?

Patrick: Well, Robin has got postpartum depression, but she's working on it. And she's away with my blessing, which is a sign of how much we've grown together.

Holly: Well, you and Robin are two of the most resilient people I know, so I'm sure you will get through this with minimal damage all around.

Patrick: I'm starting to believe so. Anyway, enough about us. Now, you said you're in town for a personal crisis. Is there anything I can help with?

Holly: Well, you already have by letting me stay here.

Patrick: You sure that's it?

Holly: May I reserve the right to change my mind?

Patrick: Absolutely. I'd be offended if you didn't. In the meantime, I've got to get back to work. I've got charts waiting for a kid that just woke up from a coma, and I'd like to see Emma before I go. So I'm going to go back to the hospital.

Holly: Go. I'll be fine.

Patrick: Anything you need, it's all yours.

Holly: Thank you.

Patrick: It's really good to see you again.

[Phone rings]

Monica: Hello?

Jason: Monica --

Monica: Oh, Jason, really, this isn't a very good time right now.

Jason: You want to hear this. Michael's awake.

Monica: Well, if you mean he has moved a hand, that is normal in his condition.

Jason: No, he's awake. His eyes are open and he's talking.

Monica: What? My God, we'll be right there.

Edward: Is it Michael?

Monica: He's awake.

Edward: Oh, God.

Carly: I'm just so happy that you're awake, I didn't ask you how you were feeling. How are you feeling?

Michael: Weak, I guess.

Carly: Yeah.

Michael: My throat hurts.

Jax: Dr. Drake said that's to be expected.

Sonny: Why don't you have some water? You good?

Michael: Thanks.

Carly: You know what? You're just going to need a little time to reacclimate. That's okay, because we're going to be here with you, all of us who love you so much. We're going to be here.

Claudia: Max told me that Michael woke up.

Sonny: Yeah, yeah.

Claudia: Can I see him?

Sonny: No, no, no. He's just trying to piece everything together, what happened to him, and he needs a little more time, you know?

Claudia: Okay. Does he remember anything?

Sonny: No, I mean, he hasn't said anything about being shot or anything.

Claudia: Well, that's probably a good thing. I mean, who wants to remember something that horrible, right? Anyway, I don't want to keep you. I just really came to say how happy I am and Johnny is, too.

Johnny: Yeah, it's great news.

Sonny: Thank you. Thank you.

Claudia: Go back to your son. We'll see you later.

Sonny: All right.

Claudia: God is on my side for once. Thank you. Thank you. He's awake and he doesn't remember anything.

Johnny: Okay, don't get too comfortable, Claudia. Michael has been awake for, what, five minutes? You know what? Who am I to intrude on your happily ever after? Enjoy it while you can.

Carly: I forgot to tell you that Jax and I, we're building a house. And you're going to love it. And now that you're awake, you get to weigh in on your room and you can have whatever you want, right, Jax?

Jax: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

Carly: Yeah. I know that it's going to be a little while before you can get out of here. The doctors are going to want to check you out and make sure you're okay, but, baby, I'm going to be here. I'm going to be here every step of the way with you. I'm not going anywhere.

Jason: Michael has got a lot to take in.

Sonny: Can't -- just when you think miracles can't happen, I mean, can you believe it?

Jason: No. I did not expect this to happen. Monica wasn't too optimistic that the surgery would even take.

Sonny: Oh.

Jason: What?

Sonny: The Quartermaines, should I call them?

Jason: I already called them. They're on their way. How does Michael seem to you?

Sonny: He just seems a little distant. But, you know, how does he seem to you?

Jason: Yeah, I noticed that, too.

Sonny: What do you make of it?

Jason: It could be, you know, some kind of side effect.

Sonny: We'll keep an eye on him and, you know, I'm sure as the shock wears off, he'll settle in.

Jason: I saw Claudia show up.

Sonny: Yeah, Max told her. So she wanted to come, you know, and see Michael. I said just to hold off.

Jason: Did she say anything else?

Sonny: If you're asking me if Claudia made some big confessional about, you know, being involved in Michael's shooting, no. She came to support Michael, she says. And, you know, that's pretty much her position during this whole ordeal. Either Claudia is sincere, or she's playing this real smart.

Claudia: Thought I'd find you here.

Johnny: I wish you hadn't tracked me down.

Claudia: What's going on? Why are you avoiding me? Why did you shut off your cell phone?

Johnny: For God's sakes, Claudia, do I need to paint it on a billboard? I didn't want to see or talk to you.

Claudia: What did I do that has offended you so today? I went to the hospital to see my stepson. I'm not allowed to be happy that my Michael is awake?

Johnny: Well, Claudia, it's a damn good thing you're my sister and I love you. Otherwise, I'd kill you myself.

Claudia: What's wrong with you?

Johnny: You really need me to spell it out?

Claudia: Yeah, I do.

Johnny: Okay. First off, we hire a hitman who is incompetent, who botches the hit, misses the target, hits a child. This poor child spends over a year in a coma while the family that he used to have falls apart. But Michael pulls through. He beats the odds. And the first thing that you want to do is hover over him like a vulture.

Claudia: Would you --

Johnny: Hang on. And you're afraid he's going to accuse you of what you actually did in the first place?

Claudia: You know what you need to do? You need to stop acting like I pulled that trigger or like I wanted any of this to happen.

Johnny: You are perpetuating the cycle.

Claudia: What does that even mean?

Johnny: You got pregnant on purpose to cover your own ass in case Michael didn't wake up. You are dragging another innocent child into this sick and twisted mob machine, like we were dragged in, like Michael and Morgan were dragged in. You don't have a problem with that, Claudia? You don't see anything wrong with that? You don't look into the mirror at that damn belly of yours and want to puke?

Claudia: No, I don't.

Johnny: Well, maybe you don't have a breaking point, Claudia, but I'm finding out that I do.

Claudia: John, you can't abandon me because you're the only person that I trust in the entire world. You are the one person who actually accepts me for who I am.

Johnny: Maybe I don't want that role anymore.

Olivia: Oh, my God, Sonny

Sonny: Hey.

Olivia: Sonny, Epiphany just called Jax at the hotel. Is it true?

Sonny: Yeah, a couple of hours ago.

Olivia: Oh, my God, that's incredible.

Sonny: He's sitting up, talking. He just looked amazing lying in that bed. But he's asking a lot of questions, you know?

Olivia: Yeah.

Sonny: And he still doesn't know that I'm the reason he lost a year of his life, so I'm --

Olivia: Could you just please not go there just for one second. Just be happy, be relieved. You got a second chance with your kid, okay? Just get out of your head and be grateful.

Jax: When are you expecting Michael's test results?

Carly: Jax is on the phone with Patrick trying to figure out what's going on with you and how soon we can get you out of here.

Michael: What happened to me, Mom?

Carly: Baby, I know that you have a lot of questions. And I promise you they are going to be answered, but right now I just need you to take baby steps, okay? Just please, take baby steps --

Michael: It's not a hard question, mom. What happened to me?

Carly: I, um --

Jax: Oh, hey. Are you okay?

Carly: Yeah, I'm just feeling a little lightheaded.

Jax: I'm going to take your mother out for some air, okay?

Michael: Okay.

Carly: I'm fine. I want to stay here with Michael.

Jax: I'm sure you're fine, but you'll feel better if we take a walk. I'm not taking no for an answer.

Carly: Okay. We'll back, baby, okay?

Michael: Don't worry because of me.

Jason: Is everything okay?

Jax: She's having dizzy spells.

Jason: All right, I'll stay with Michael.

Michael: No one is being real with me. You always were, so I'm asking. Am I going to die or something and that's why nobody wants to tell me?

Jason: No. No, it's actually just the opposite. You made an amazing recovery. But you're not getting any answers from people, because they don't want to overwhelm you, you know? So just relax and rest and everything else can wait.

Michael: How would you feel if everybody in the room knew more about you than you did?

Jason: I would hate it. But now I'm asking you, just trust me. As soon as you're strong enough, I'm going to get you what you need.

Michael: You mean it?

Jason: I said it, didn't I?

Monica: Michael, hello.

Edward: Do you know who we are?

Michael: I'm not stupid. You're Edward Quartermaine, my great-grandfather. You're Monica, my grandmother.

Monica: Do you mind if I give you a hug? I have never ever been so happy to see somebody in my whole life.

Edward: So how do you feel, son?

Michael: Okay, I guess. My throat hurts.

Monica: Yes, well, that's going to pass.

Michael: That's what they keep telling me.

Edward: You know, we've been praying for this moment, never actually believing that it might happen. But I promise you we will not squander it. Your family -- this family is going to right the terrible wrongs that have been done to you.

Michael: Wrongs?

Edward: Starting with the fact that you were stolen from us.

Monica: Edward, Edward.

Edward: What?

Monica: Go easy, please. We don't want to put too much on Michael right away.

Edward: No, but I don't want to ignore them, either. And, listen, don't you go filling this kid's head with all the sorry excuses about Sonny --

Jason: That's enough, okay? You can leave now.

Monica: Yeah.

Edward: I won't be tossed out of my great-grandson's room.

Monica: Jason is right, Edward. Come on. We don't want to set back his recovery, do you?

Edward: All right, we'll go. Don't you dare try to keep him away from us.

Monica: Out. Welcome back.

Michael: I don't need a bodyguard.

Jason: Fair enough. If I'm bugging you, just tell me. I'll take off.

Michael: No, you can stay. It's okay.

[Michael groans]

Michael: My legs hurt.

Jason: Your muscles have atrophied.

Michael: Atrophy? How long have I been in this bed? I mean, atrophy takes time, right?

Jason: You've been asleep for a long time, Michael.

Tracy: What has Holly done to you to make you so stupid?

Luke: Give me a little credit, wife. I know her, you don't.

Tracy: I know that she's out hustling you on your own turf. You asked her point blank if Ethan was your son, and she happily replied she'd tell you for a price.

Luke: I don't deny the larceny in her black little heart. I'm just telling you it's not a con, it's bait. There's a difference.

Tracy: Oh, I'm sorry. I missed the subtlety.

Luke: Well, you would have to know our history to understand.

Tracy: Oh, none for me, thanks.

Luke: Then you'll just have to trust that I know what I'm doing.

Tracy: How can I do that, Luke? She's exploiting a weakness that you didn't even know you had. I didn't know you had.

Luke: What? Weakness? Me?

Tracy: It appears that the great Luke Spencer, much like mere mortals, wants to leave a legacy, wants to see himself reflected in the eyes of a son he can be proud of. And if you can't admit that, then Holly wins and you and I are sunk.

[Cell phone rings]

Luke: Hello.

Holly: Can you ever forgive me?

Luke: Holly, tell me where you are.

Ethan: I've always been pretty good at the con myself. And I'm usually pretty good at recognizing my own kind, but the vibe I got off Holly was genuine. I mean, you've met her. What was your take?

Lulu: Well, I will answer your question, but I'm probably biased. I mean, if this is true, it means that my dad cheated on my mom with Holly. But that baggage aside, I found her as untrusting as she is beautiful -- no offense.

Ethan: None taken. Still, I do feel like this is just stumbling around blindly in the darkness.

Lulu: What does that mean?

Ethan: Well, there's an equal chance that Holly is not my mother at all.

Patrick: Matt, hey.

Matt: Yeah.

Patrick: Have you heard anything about Michael's test results?

Matt: No, of course not. I'm the last person to find out about anything around here. Case in point, the beautiful woman in the living room.

Patrick: Holly. Yeah, yeah, you met Holly. That's Robin's ex-stepmom.

Matt: Wow. The last thing I think of when I look at that woman is -- I don't think "mom." So, like, what's the deal with you two?

Patrick: I met her a few years ago, and we just kind of hit it off as friends.

Matt: Okay, that's good. So you wouldn't mind if I kind of jumped in there and, you know, kind of --

Patrick: Yeah, be my guest. Although, I don't think that you're really her type.

Matt: Yeah, well, we'll see, won't we?

Patrick: Yeah.

[Cell phone rings]

Patrick: This is Dr. Drake. Oh, great. I've been waiting for Michael's test results. Please, get them to me as soon as possible.

Carly: All right, guys, I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm not dizzy. No damage to the baby, right?

Kelly: The baby is fine.

Carly: Great, see?

Jax: What about Carly?

Kelly: Her blood pressure is elevated, not alarmingly so, but I'm concerned about the stress factor.

Carly: Okay, I'm sorry, but I am happy, okay? I am so happy. My son is awake. So it's got to be a good stress. This has to be positive for me and the baby.

Kelly: Well, unfortunately, your condition can't tell the difference between good stress and bad. All it knows is your blood pressure spikes and that's potentially harmful.

Carly: I don't understand. How am I not supposed to react when my son, who's been in a coma for a year, wakes up?

Kelly: I can't answer that. But for your sake and for the sake of your unborn child, you have to find a way.

[Pager beeps]

Kelly: I have to go. Remember, easy does it.

Jax: Look, we'll go up, say good night to Michael, and then we'll go home and get a good night's sleep.

Carly: I am not going home, okay? Michael needs me.

Jax: Did you hear what Kelly just said?

Carly: I'm not leaving my son. And that's final.

Edward: Corinthos, consider this fair warning. Michael belongs with his true family.

Sonny: Edward, the last thing Michael needs --

Monica: The last thing he could ever need is to be anywhere near you. My biggest regret is to ever allowing him into your world of violence.

Edward: Look what it cost him, an entire year of his life.

Monica: He is awake now and we all have a second chance. And we're going to make sure that his real family protects him --

Sonny: I know that emotions are running high right now, okay? But we need to step back for Michael and wait to get the test results to see if he's all right, then we will have this conversation.

Edward: It will not be all right until you are out of his life. You are a scourge, Sonny.

Olivia: Okay, okay, hold on one freaking minute here. Who do you people think you are taking a kid away from the only father that he has ever known?

Edward: You may be a very charming young woman, Ms. Falconeri, but you know less than nothing about the hell that this man has brought down on this family.

Olivia: You know what? I'm not so charming. And I know what I need to know, okay? Starting with if you were going to keep Sonny out of Michael's life, you needed to do it a long time ago, like when he was a baby, not now when they're all emotionally connected to one another. You can't come running with your expired ticket and try to jump on the boat, no. No. And another thing, if you think this whole thing has been some kind of picnic for Sonny, then you know nothing about what it is to be a parent.

Monica: Oh, well, that may very well be, but then you haven't had a child with this monster.

Edward: Oh, and by the way, we're going to see to it that Michael's last name is changed back to Quartermaine. Let's go. Come on, Monica.

Luke: Holly? Say that again. I'm having trouble hearing you.

Holly: I said, I'm so sorry to cause so much trouble. That was never my intention. I wanted to remember old times -- visit the Haunted Star, share a few drinks and some memories, but mostly I wanted to tell you the truth about Ethan. Then that screaming banshee you call a wife showed up spewing threats and venom. Luke, I can only imagine the kind of hell she puts you through.

Luke: That's part of her charm. She has her own unique style. You shouldn't have run off. We have a lot to talk about.

Holly: Oh, I thought so, too, but -- well, I think it's best we don't see each other.

Luke: Come on, English.

Holly: Don't worry; I'll be all right for the night. I'll be safe. A kind, young doctor has taken me in. But, Luke, you know, it was so lovely to see you, even if only from a distance.

Luke: Well, don't -- don't hang up. Damn it.

Tracy: Look at me. If you chase off after her, don't bother coming back.

Luke: If you don't want me to go after her, admit that you rigged the DNA test.

Tracy: I can't. I didn't do it.

Luke: You remember this moment, Tracy. This is when you made the decision. Anything that happens from here is on you.

Olivia: Three tequila shots, please. Set them up right here.

[Olivia sighs]

Olivia: Thank you.

Johnny: Hard day?

Olivia: Call me crazy, but there's nothing I hate worse than hypocrisy. Especially, when I hear it coming out of my own mouth. The only thing worse than that would be if someone I loved got hurt because I got all self-righteous and started running my mouth off about stuff I need to keep quiet. Sorry, I realize that was cryptic beyond belief.

Johnny: Yeah. Hypocrisy and cryptic are two things I'm used to.

Olivia: I'd like to propose a toast. Regardless of how we may all feel about one another collectively, we witnessed a miracle today. Sonny's son woke up, and that deserves to be celebrated. And failing that -- toasted. So to Michael Corinthos iii, a real fighter. We could all take a lesson.

Johnny: To Michael.

Carly: Hey. Hi, sweetie. I'm back. I'm back for the duration.

Michael: Dad. No one will tell me what happened, how I got here. Will you?

Sonny: He deserves to know what happened.

Carly: Hmm-mm. Not a good time.

Sonny: We got to tell him.

Michael: Why won't you just tell me what the hell happened?

Carly: Okay, can you just calm down, please? Calm down. Hey, Patrick, are you here with the test results?

Patrick: And the news couldn't be better. Michael's recovery looks strong and permanent.

Tracy: This is unacceptable, spumoni. So far you've given me nothing but sorry excuses. However, I did notice you didn't have any trouble cashing the check. I want results, or there will be hell to pay.

Lulu: I'm sorry; your day's not going to get any better. Maybe you want to sit down for this.

Tracy: Can I go first? I have something I want to tell you, and it might explain why I've been kind of difficult to be around lately. Lulu, your father and I are having some serious trouble, and I don't know if we're going to get past it -- or past her.

Lulu: Holly Sutton.

Tracy: How do you know?

Lulu: Ethan told me everything. And we were together when word came down that Holly is in town, so Ethan went to go see her.

Tracy: Well, if you know where she is, you need to tell me so I can head your father off.

Lulu: My dad knows where she is?

Tracy: Oh, yeah, he knows where she is, and he wouldn't tell me. He just ran out of here like he was being chased by the hounds from hell. What were you doing with Ethan?

Lulu: Ethan and I are close.

Tracy: What kind of close?

Lulu: Well, that depends. Is Ethan my brother or not?

Patrick: I am good.

Holly: Should I even ask?

Patrick: Join me? Champagne?

Holly: Ooh, love to. So what's got you in such a celebratory mood?

Patrick: You know I mentioned that young coma patient? I performed a tricky little number on the young man, and guess what?

Holly: He woke up?

Patrick: And is on his way to a full recovery.

Holly: Well, that's wonderful.

Patrick: Yes, there are days even I'm blown away by my own ability.

Holly: In a kind of egocentric way.

Patrick: Well, I'm trying here.

Ethan and Luke: Who told you?

Ethan: Well, I have my sources. Thanks for being one of them. Oh, wait. You're that wanker who never told me Holly was back in town.

Luke: Oh, quit bitching. I didn't know where you were when she showed up at the Star. Just relax. Let's enjoy the fireworks together.

Olivia: Hey, you know what? Not to be a bitch, but that sister of yours, she's a real piece of work.

Johnny: Tell me about it.

Olivia: What do you know about what Claudia's done?

Johnny: Way too much.

Olivia: Sucks to be the talk-to, doesn't it?

Johnny: Talk-to? I've never heard that one before.

Olivia: No, you know. And I know you know. Talk-to is a person that someone dumps all their secrets on, and then you're left carrying around all this crap that isn't even yours.

Johnny: Yeah, and that person's all relieved, heavy burden off their shoulders. And guess who gets to carry it around for the rest of their life?

Olivia: Mm-hmm. You know, on the outside, you are about the last person I would think would know that.

Johnny: So you have met my sister.

Olivia: I practically kicked her ass right at this bar. Where's that bartender? It's so hard to get good service nowadays. Look at you, you're checking out the assets.

[Olivia laughs]

Johnny: Would you be opposed? Is that a problem?

Olivia: Not for me.

Carly: The test results are official, but they just confirm everything I knew.

Jax: Yep. You did a good job, Michael. You put up one hell of a fight.

Carly: That's right.

Sonny: I can't believe it. For once, Jax and I agree on something.

Michael: That's great. I'm getting better. That means you can tell me how I got here in the first place.

Carly: Baby, what does it matter? I mean, yes, you had a horrible accident, but you're on the other side of that.

Sonny: He has a right to know, I think, at this point.

Carly: But he doesn't need to know now, Sonny. He doesn't need to know now and have all this dumped on him. We have plenty of time. You heard what Patrick said, okay?

Sonny: But if he's asking, then the time is now.

Jason: You know, can I speak to you in private, Sonny?

Sonny: Why should we -- it's inevitably --

Jason: Sonny, please. Right now.

Sonny: Okay, go.

Jason: Look, I know that you want to be honest with Michael, but you can not dump the truth on him right now. You need to give him a little room to breathe.

Sonny: I can not believe I'm hearing this from you. After your accident, you hated when people weren't truthful with you. I saw the Quartermaines -- they weren't telling you the truth. They drove you away. I can't make the same mistake with Michael.

Jason: Okay, I'm not saying not to tell him what happened, just not tonight. Just give him a little time.

Michael: I see Jason still fights your battles for you.

Jax: Let's not talk about that now, okay? Why don't you call your mother and let her know --

Carly: I already talked to my mother. Baby, your dad and I weren't fighting. We weren't.

Michael: Why are you lying? I saw it.

Carly: Are you mad at me?

Michael: You said you never gave up on me.

Carly: I never gave up on you.

Michael: Then why weren't you here when I woke up?

Holly: To a brilliant doctor having a brilliant day.

Patrick: Hear, hear.

[Knock at door]

Patrick: Well, you expecting someone?

Holly: Yes, I hope it's okay. I am. Shall I do the honors?

Patrick: Yeah, please.

Holly: Ah, Luke Spencer. And companion. Hello, Ethan. It's really lovely to see you. It has been far too long.

Ethan: Well, whose fault is that? You sent me to Port Charles under false pretenses.

Holly: Not at all. I wanted you to have the benefit of Luke's acquaintance, and clearly you've succeeded.

Luke: Stop it. Enough with the games. We're here for answers. Is this my son or not?

Tracy: Ethan is not your brother. You don't have to take my word for it, look at the DNA test. It was conclusively negative.

Lulu: Okay, great. That's all I needed to know.

Tracy: Where are you going?

Lulu: Clubbing with Ethan.

Tracy: Clubbing?

Lulu: Mm-hmm. Couple drinks, a little dancing, maybe a little sex.

Tracy: No.

Lulu: I'm sorry?

Tracy: No, um --

Tracy: You can't have sex with a man who might be your brother.

Lulu: Oh, but you just assured me that he's not my brother. So is there something that you're not telling me?

Tracy: I don't know if he's your brother or not. Lulu, I bribed a lab tech, okay? I made sure that the test came back negative, and I never -- I never saw the actual results.

Lulu: So only Holly knows the truth.

Tracy: And I wouldn't trust a word out of her mouth.

Jason: I know what I'm talking about, okay? I've been where Michael is. I've been in that bed. I'm just saying, if you unload the truth about the shooting right now, I don't think he'll be able to handle it. This has to be about him, not about how everybody else feels or how it'd feel to relieve some guilt.

Sonny: I understand what you're saying. I just don't agree. If I don't answer Michael's questions right now when he's asking my honesty, I feel like I'm betraying my kid.

Jason: I think you're making a mistake.

Sonny: I got to do what's right for my son.

Michael: You go on and on about how much you love me, but you weren't even here. Dad showed up first. And he wants to tell me what happened and how I got --

Carly: Baby, I just don't --

Michael: I'm not your baby.

Jax: Michael, stop. Stop it, okay? The reason your mother wasn't here when you woke up is because she was exhausted and she needed to get --

Michael: You could have slept here. She's done it before.

Carly: Stop.

Jax: She's pregnant.

Michael: You're replacing me with a new baby?
