Mike: Hey, I --

[Rebecca gasps]

Mike: What the hell is this?

Lulu: Can we back this up a second? You want me to pretend that I have the hots for Ethan to trip Tracy up somehow?

Luke: Succinct summation, sweet pea. But look, under no circumstances do I want you to really kind of ally involved, because it wouldn't be a good idea.

Lulu: No, I'm not even a little attracted to Ethan, so --

Luke: Oh, okay, good. Except when Tracy's around. And then he's like the hottest stud you've ever seen.

Lulu: Right, and I'm doing this why?

Luke: My wife needs a dose of her own medicine, and I hope she chokes on it.

Lulu: Why are you making me drag this out of --

Tracy: Why do you two look like you're up to no good?

Claudia: Does anybody know how long the surgery is going to take for Michael?

Carly: Is anybody here a doctor or a psychic?

Claudia: You don't have to be nasty. I was just asking if Patrick gave you an estimate.

Carly: Well, the last thing we want to do is rush Patrick and his team through experimental surgery.

Claudia: Ballpark. Two hours? Ten? I'm just saying.

Sonny: Claudia.

Claudia: What?

Sonny: Come on.

Claudia: I'm not allowed to talk?

Patrick: This is going to be a long haul, everyone, so I hope we're all prepared. The medical equivalent of running a marathon. It's a complex procedure that needs to be taken one careful step at a time. Our focus is to get to the end zone here. Once we're there, if we do our job, Michael gets to go home and go see his family, all right?

Nikolas: You okay?

Rebecca: Yeah.

Nikolas: Is it your usual practice to enter a tenant's room without knocking?

Mike: Hey, listen. We can smell the paint fumes in the diner. And the customers that haven't already left are complaining.

Rebecca: Oh, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to --

Nikolas: You don't have to apologize.

Mike: All right, all right, listen. I can see that I could have knocked. But it was obvious that Rebecca was painting the room, and I am within my rights to talk to her about it.

Rebecca: No, look, Mike's right. I didn't ask, and I should have.

Mike: Okay, you can take that up with Luke or Bobbie, but I -- I am less worried about losing customers than I am about you and Nikolas getting so close.

Spinelli: I am relieved that you agreed to surveillance. I am convinced that the way to catch this singing canary is to leave a trail of birdseed.

Maxie: Birdseed?

Spinelli: Well, yeah. We need bait.

Maxie: Oh, right. Like what?

Spinelli: Well, something that strikes the thief's fancy, which is clearly more than financial gain. By taking "Crimson's" shoe layout and giving it to "Couture", the double agent quite possibly enhanced his or her publishing career.

Maxie: Of course. The spy is trying to take our best ideas to Giselle and work for her at "Couture."

Spinelli: Thus, we need to tempt the double agent of fashion with another secret "Crimson" layout.

Maxie: Well, what if the thief wins?

Spinelli: Wins?

Maxie: Yeah, what if they somehow get past our surveillance, end up with our layout idea, and then I'm twice in the hole, and Kate will fire me for sure?

Spinelli: Well, if your faith in Jackal, P.I., is that puny, I suppose we could dummy up a decoy.

Maxie: My faith in you is staggering. Okay, here, Spinelli. This is my first shot at an editor's position. I have this really humiliating history of being forced to dress up as an elf for Christmastime, and, well, I hated it. So I have this idea that I pitched to Kate, how to dress up as an elf without totally nerding out, and she liked it. She told me to run with it. I thought she was going to laugh me right of her office, but if this layout leaks, Kate is going to know that it was me. She's either going to think I did it myself, or she'll think that I'm stupid enough to let someone steal it right from me. If this gets out, Spinelli, I will be fired, and so will Lulu.

Spinelli: Well, I'll just have to make sure that that doesn't happen. I will prove worthy of this profound moment of trust.

Luke: Stop stoking suspicion, sweetheart. I'm just spending some quality time with my beautiful daughter, the way you're always pushing me to do.

Tracy: Right. Lulu, I left my phone in the car. Would you mind getting it for me, please?

Lulu: Oh. A transparent way of getting rid of me, but sure.

Tracy: I hope that you were not telling her that you thought Ethan might have been your son.

Luke: Now why would I do that? We just had a DNA test that proved otherwise.

Tracy: Luke, I know you're really disappointed about that, so I don't understand why you're keeping him around to remind you of what you couldn't have. Get rid of him.

Luke: Is that what you think I should do?

Tracy: Oh, absolutely, no doubt about it.

Luke: Well, I'll give it some thought.

[Cell phone rings]

Lulu: Um, your phone is just going off like crazy.

Tracy: Thank you. Uh, ELQ emergency -- got to run. Think about what I said.

Luke: I will. What a coincidence, huh? ELQ emergencies just when you're ready to flip me back on the grill?

Lulu: God, it's amazing, isn't it? I think it's fate's way of saying that we need to finish this conversation. So why do you want me to pretend to be into Ethan for Tracy to notice?

Luke: It's complicated.

Lulu: Okay, simplify, quickly, because Tracy won't be long.

Luke: Really? You think maybe that urgent message wasn't?

Lulu: Okay, fine. I admit it. I forged the email to call Tracy away.

Luke: I love you, darling.

Carly: Oh. What do you think about that tile for our master bath?

Jax: It's nice.

Carly: Well, don't just say that because you think I like it.

Jax: I'm sorry; did I miss a trick question?

Carly: No, but I want our house to be, you know, where both of our tastes come together. I want both of us to be equally represented.

Jax: We've been doing a good job of that lately. I like the tile.

Carly: Okay.

[Carly laughs]

Claudia: Waiting is like my worst event.

Sonny: Yeah, Claudia, it sucks.

Claudia: You want to go for a walk?

Sonny: Yeah, let's get out of here.

Carly: Thank you, it worked.

Jason: What worked?

Carly: That unnerving stare that you've gotten down to a science. Scared Claudia out of here. Let's hope it sticks. I don't like that vulture hovering around when my son's having brain surgery.

Patrick: Adson with teeth and the Metz.

Matt: Retractor.

Patrick: Traction suture.

Matt: Cottonoid.

Elizabeth: Intracranial pressure's starting to increase.

Matt: As we expected.

Patrick: Increase the dexamethazone two milligrams, up the mannitol, double up the furosemide.

Woman: But doubling the furosemide could cause him to be hypokalemic.

Patrick: If Michael's brain begins to swell, we won't be able to finish, and Michael doesn't get a do-over. Double it.

Nikolas: My relationship with Rebecca is really none of your business, Mike.

Mike: Yeah, to a certain extent, I agree, but -- look, I have grown very fond of Rebecca, all right? And I've been around you long enough to know that you can be a little overwhelming when you decide to put on the full court press.

Rebecca: Well, hey, since this is my life that you two seem to be discussing, let me tell you how it is. I really appreciate your concern, Mike. I find it oddly touching. But you know, I know who Nikolas is and what he's about so whatever happens between us, I walked into it eyes-wide-open.

Mike: Okay. Just never let it be said that Mike Corbin can't hear it when he's been told to butt out, but listen, please. Do me a favor. The next time you have to urge to redecorate, just give me a heads-up so I don't lose any more business, okay?

Rebecca: Fair enough.

Mike: Okay.

Nikolas: All right.

Rebecca: Well, that kind of wrecked the momentum.

Nikolas: No, it didn't.

[Cell phone rings]

Rebecca: What?

Nikolas: I am really beginning to resent this day. Yes, Alexis?

Alexis: I need you to meet me at General Hospital right away.

Nikolas: Why, are you hurt?

Alexis: No, but you're going to be.

Spinelli: Jackal P.I. is woefully inadequate at deciphering the intricacies of the fashion world but even to my untrained eye, this is most impressive.

Maxie: You really think so?

Spinelli: Yeah, your instincts are keen. Your vitality is represented through these rather kinky but definitely sexy designs. Your presentation is polished and professional.

Maxie: Thank you, Spinelli.

Spinelli: I dare say the glacial one will be most pleased.

Maxie: Well, that's kind of the idea. I'm hoping this layout will encourage Kate to move me off of this desk and into an editor's slot, but if this layout gets leaked, I will get moved off my desk and right out the door.

Spinelli: Our endeavor will be successful, I promise you that.

Maxie: What is that?

Spinelli: It is a miniature tracking device.

Maxie: That is brilliance.

Spinelli: I humbly thank you.

Maxie: You know, I'm putting my entire career in your hands, and I'm not even a little worried.

Spinelli: Not even a little?

Maxie: Not even a little.

Kate: So -- [Clears throat] is this how you two prioritize finding the person responsible for ripping off my life's blood?

Maxie: Spinelli and I were --

Kate: No, no. No need to explain. I know exactly what you were doing. My eyes work just fine, Maxie. Where's Johnny?

Maxie: Johnny --

Kate: Oh, good. There you are. You don't have a lot of time.

Johnny: For what?

Kate: Well, you and Maxie are going out tonight.

Jax: Close your eyes. Close you eyes and visualize a place that you love, feel comfortable. Take a deep breath. Breathe out. Oh, and turn your palms up.

Carly: Why?

Jax: Because that's where your nerve endings are, in your palm. Let me massage your palms. There, how's that?

Carly: You're really cute. And you're so sweet. No offense, but it's not working.

Jax: It's not working?

Carly: No. Maybe we could try Jason’s way. You go perfectly calm and still effortlessly, you know? No fear, no worry.

Jason: I wouldn't say that.

Jax: You know, I'm going to go outside and make some calls.

Carly: I don't want you to go.

Jax: Put some of that nervous energy on the staff.

Carly: I don't want you to go.

Jax: I've got to check in with Olivia, so I'll be right back. I won't be far.

[Carly sighs]

Jason: Are you serious about this whole meditation thing?

Carly: I would do anything if it would make me believe this nightmare was going to be over and everything was going to be okay, yeah. It's going to be okay, right? I mean, we did the right thing by having Patrick do the surgery?

Jason: I hope so.

Carly: God. Thank you. Thank you so much.

Jason: I haven't done anything.

Carly: Yeah, you have. Yeah, you have. I mean, with the best intentions, I don't think Sonny and Jax would have told me Patrick thought this was Michael's last chance. They would have waited for Dr. Hansen, and you didn't. You trusted me with the truth, and I appreciate that. You know, you've always done what's best for Michael. You always put him first, and that's how I know this is going to be okay. Everything's going to be okay.

Sonny: You know what? After your meeting with Dr. Lee, why don't -- you can go ahead and go home.

Claudia: You're kicking me out?

Sonny: No, I'm not. I'm just saying it's a tough room in there and the baby and the nerves.

Claudia: I don't want to leave you here by yourself.

Sonny: Well, I'm not going to be by myself. There's -- I got Carly and Jason, and I'm even on the same side with Jax, which is amazing.

Claudia: Sonny, come on, don't kid yourself.

Sonny: What?

Claudia: Carly and Jax and Jason. They're a unit. You're an outsider. You need me in there whether you know it or not.

Epiphany: Ms. Davis?

Alexis: Oh, God.

Epiphany: I'd like to get this off my chest. It really pisses me off that you used your various positions, district attorney, hospital board member, Cassadine, to go above my head and get Rebecca Shaw’s employment records.

Alexis: I'm sorry. Please don't be mad at me. I really needed those records for a very specific important reason, and I'm hoping maybe you could just sort of look the other way this one time because most of the time I'm a principled person.

Epiphany: Clearly not. Or you wouldn't have helped yourself to confidential records. You can't have it both ways, Ms. Davis.

Nikolas: So let me guess. That was yet another relentless effort by you to disparage Rebecca.

Alexis: I am trying to protect you, Nikolas.

Nikolas: I don't want or need your protection. I'm a grown man responsible for my own choice and any consequences that may follow.

Alexis: You are being willfully blind here. A person doesn't just happen to show up --

Nikolas: Oh, God.

Alexis: Looking exactly like Emily who just happens to stroll in here and --

Nikolas: I've heard all this a thousand times. Rebecca is Helena’s evil plant and --

Alexis: Yes. That's right.

Nikolas: And you offer no evidence that the two of them are actually connected.

Alexis: Which is why I asked to see you. Rebecca did spend time in Greece. Did she mention that to you? I don't think so. And I'll bet you that she spent time with Helena.

Maxie: You can't send Johnny and me out tonight.

Kate: Really, Maxie, and why is that?

Maxie: Well, I have to sit here and help Spinelli trace the "Crimson" leak. You made it very clear that both mine and Lulu's jobs are riding on it.

Kate: Fine. I am willing to renegotiate our terms. Make this appearance with Johnny tonight, and I will lift the ultimatum.

Johnny: It's not Maxie's call. It's mine. I'm not doing it.

Kate: Oh. Uh, careful, Johnny. You're about to refuse your way out of a very cushy job.

Johnny: And that would be your call. You see, it's all the same to me. I got a lot of other ways I could be making money. As for tonight, it's not happening.

Maxie: I'm sure Johnny didn't just quit. He -- I'm sure he's as grateful for the opportunity to represent "Crimson" as I am.

Kate: You can save it, Maxie. I know exactly what just happened here. Johnny refused an already set appearance out of some sort of misguided act of chivalry.

Maxie: What?

Kate: Maxie, it's very clear that you and Spinelli are opposed to these professional engagements, and it's unfortunate that you can't be businesslike enough to put your personal matters aside. Now "Crimson" will not be represented tonight, so you know what, Maxie? The offer is off the table. There will be no reprieve. And I suggest that you use your newfound free time to find the thief responsible for stealing my work. Otherwise you and Lulu, you will never enter my office again.

Lulu: Why don't you tell me what this is about? You know, what did Tracy do? What does Ethan have to do with it?

Luke: Well, sweetheart, see, I kind of need to play this close to the vest right now, but if it plays out the way I think it's going to, all kinds of interesting things are going to be revealed.

Lulu: You are so weird, Dad.

Luke: Weird?

Lulu: Yes.

Luke: Oh, thank you. I like that. I like that.

Lulu: Well, I admit, I actually like being involved in this caper with you, you know. I think it used to be Lucky who had the honors.

Luke: Yeah, well. I'm afraid those days are gone. Lucky thinks I'm the enemy, you know? He's stuck in a tight little world that we used to make fun of and joke about. I kind of miss the old days when we were friends.

Ethan: Well, I'm back from my fool's errand at the Quartermaines'. Anyone care to fill me in on why Tracy's so eager to get rid of me?

Olivia: Hey. I came as soon as I got your message. I hope, you know, everything's okay at the hotel. I got everything running smoothly. You don't have to worry about --

Jax: That's not why I asked you here. I need your advice.

Olivia: Okay. I'm happy to help with anything.

Jax: Claudia Zacchara -- excuse me, Claudia Corinthos barged her way into the waiting room.

Olivia: What? Heaven help me, you mean the bitch that's responsible for Michael getting shot is in there with the family pretending that she's got a right to be there.

Jax: Precisely. You know how I feel about Sonny, but even he doesn't deserve to be this much of a dupe. On top of that, every time she opens her mouth, which is way too much, I can see Carly getting more and more upset, and that is stress she doesn't need.

Olivia: Okay, Jax, this is a no-brainer. You've got to get Claudia out of that room.

Claudia: I'm getting the impression Michael's surgery is going to take hours, so I mean, why don't you come with me to my appointment? It might be good for you to focus on something else.

Sonny: It just doesn't feel right 'cause I believe Michael needs my undivided attention.

Claudia: Okay. I understand that. I just -- I don't like the idea of you sitting in that room with all that negative energy. I mean, come on, you must feel it. It's like Carly's the center of the universe and you're just Michael's dad.

Sonny: It's not easy on anyone. But go to your appointment. I'll be fine.

Claudia: Okay, well, I'm coming back as soon as I'm done.

Sonny: You know, it's -- a lot has happened between us, and you have a threat that I made hanging over your head. Why are you still willing to support me?

Claudia: Because no matter what, you and I are always going to be connected through this baby.

Carly: Okay. About this meditation thing.

Jason: Mm-hmm.

Carly: I really do want to learn. My doctor said it would help bring down my blood pressure. How do you do it? How do you stay calm when all this chaos is happening around you?

Jason: I don't know. I guess I just try to stop thinking, and I clear my mind, and I just concentrate on how I breathe. You want to try it?

Carly: Yeah.

Jason: Okay.

Carly: Okay.

Jason: Okay, you're working -- I think you're working a little bit too hard. Don't change really how you breathe, just listen. Listen to it, okay? No frowning.

Jason: Good.

Carly: Is there any word on Michael?

Matt: The meds are working.

Patrick: Yeah, I can see the swelling retracting. Pull up the next scan on the computer. And the next one. Okay. Now this is the hard part, people. Stay with me here. Give me the #10 blade on the number three.

Woman: Scalpel.

Nikolas: I don't suppose you have anything that documents Helena’s actual presence in Greece when Rebecca was allegedly there.

Alexis: There's nothing "alleged" about it. She was there. And interestingly enough, she didn't mention that when you were getting to know each other when you said, you know what, I was born in Greece. Perfect opportunity to --

Nikolas: Don't you have more pressing things to do with your life, or is there finally a lull in crime here in Port Charles?

Alexis: You cannot afford to be flip right now. Also, the fact that I'm this involved should tell you something because you, of all people, know how much I hate getting involved in anything Cassadine -- any family politics. And you, of all people, should know that when you ignore Helena it's like ignoring a terminal disease. It doesn't go away just because you want it to.

Nikolas: I think that you're allowing your dislike for Rebecca to cloud your judgment a bit.

Alexis: And I think you're wrong. I think Rebecca is dangerous. And she is not the first woman that Helena has thrown into your path. Who was that nanny -- what was her name?

Nikolas: Colleen.

Alexis: There you go. And then there's Katherine Bell. Both those women -- you walked right into Helena’s trap because she knows where you're vulnerable. She wants to control you, Nikolas, because she wants your money. And to ignore that is not only reckless, it's suicidal. I'm sorry to be such a nag about this, but I'm right here. You need to walk away from Rebecca before something terrible happens.

Maxie: Anything?

Spinelli: Not yet.

Maxie: So tell me again how this little dot thingy is supposed to work.

Spinelli: It's a tracking device.

Maxie: It's so small though. What if it falls out of the folder when the thief picks it up?

Spinelli: Not to worry. It's firmly attached and undetectable.

Maxie: Okay, if you say so. I brought snacks. Some of your soda, potato chips, candy.

Spinelli: Maxie is very thoughtful. Her gesture is much appreciated.

Maxie: So exactly how is this going to work? Is it a color?

Spinelli: Yeah, it's that little yellow dot right there.

Maxie: How ingenious.

Claudia: Michael is on the table right now. I'm part of the waiting room team.

Johnny: Well, that's a heck of a no-win situation you just put yourself in, Claudia. Carly, who despises you -- you got Sonny who's ambivalent at best, and you told me yourself that Jax and Jason already suspect you're involved in Michael's shooting.

Claudia: Sonny needs me in there. He needs my support.

Johnny: Oh, for God's sake, Claudia.

Claudia: How do you not see this, Johnny? This is the perfect opportunity for me to prove myself to Sonny, to show him that no matter how bad it gets, I'm a real partner. I'm his wife.

Johnny: Right, because what? It will make Sonny like you enough to spare your life?

Claudia: How are you not getting this? You are not getting this. When Michael wakes up, everything's going to change. I'm going to be free. I'm going to be clear of this, because -- you know what? It's horrible that Michael lost a year of his life, and it's unforgivable. And I know that. But it is not enough for Sonny to want me dead, especially when I'm carrying his child.

Johnny: Surgeries fail, Claudia, even routine ones. And this one is anything but. What if Michael dies on the table?

Claudia: Don't say that. Don't even put that out there in the universe. Michael is not going to die. He's going to make a full recovery. He has to, and when he does, and when he's well, I'm as good as new. Sonny's not going to want to retaliate against me because everything's going to be back to the way it was. And really what would be the point then?

Johnny: You need to listen to me, Claudia. You are dangerously delusional right now, and I have a sick feeling that you're going to lose a lot more than you think.

Jax: The best way to get rid of Claudia would be to tell Sonny about her involvement in Michael's shooting.

Olivia: Oh, I want to say yes, but there's a new wrinkle in the situation, Jax. Claudia is pregnant with Sonny's child.

Jax: Yes.

Olivia: Okay, that's a game-changer right there. Now it doesn't matter what kind of reprehensible human being she is. And believe me, nobody despises her more than I do, but now there's an innocent child about to be thrown into the mix. And that kid needs to be protected from the crazy grownups around it.

Jax: It serves me no purpose to tell Carly about Jerry's involvement and why I kept it from her. I mean, this is about her health. Right? We have to remember that. But if Claudia jeopardizes that, I will sell her down the river.

Sonny: It's just so damn hard to wait.

Carly: Tell me about it. That's why I'm trying to learn this meditation thing.

Sonny: You were serious about that?

Carly: Yes, the doctor said it would help.

Sonny: That's good.

Carly: What's so funny?

Sonny: No, I just can't picture you standing still long enough for the meditation to work.

[Jason laughs]

Carly: Maybe I just need a good teacher, you know? Jason was helping me with breathing.

Sonny: Oh, you teach meditation?

Jason: No, no --

Carly: Yes, yes, yes, you do.

Jason: No, no, Carly.

Carly: And you know what? It helped. He was very helpful.

Sonny: Wow, tell me if I'm breathing right, Jason. Watch.

Carly: Okay, make fun all you want.

Sonny: No, I'm not.

Carly: You could use it. You're married to that one. Hello?

Sonny: You know what's funny?

Carly: Hmm?

Sonny: I used to hate waiting for anything, and now I've kind of learned how to do it, because as Jason knows, the business -- you got to wait for the next move, the right time. And when you get the right time, you usually -- I ask him to do the physical work. But then I got to wait to see how it went. But this is hard, because you know, we're talking about Michael's life. I don't know how to really do it. I don't have the discipline. My mind keeps racing. I keep thinking about the first time -- remember I bought Michael that bicycle. First time he held Morgan. Remember when you brought him to the island the first time to visit me, right? And you put that floppy hat on his head so that he wouldn't get burned.

Jason: He kept trying to pull that thing off his head.

Sonny: Well, why wouldn't he? The thing was bigger than he was. Just like yesterday, that I remembered in the playpen -- remember we were talking about business, and then I kept watching him because he was trying to take that hat off his head. And you put it on pretty tight, but somehow, somehow, he managed to get it off.

Jason: The kid would never quit.

Carly: I have a picture of that, of him in that hat. I do. And I pulled it out a couple of years ago, and Michael was mortified. He said, "Mom, I look like a dork." I loved that picture, but now I love it even more after hearing that story. That's so great.

Sonny: So you think we're going to have a good outcome here, huh?

Carly: I do. I do.

Sonny: Well, I could ride with that.

Jax: Hey.

Carly: Hi.

Jax: How you doing?

Carly: I'm fine. I am. I'm doing good.

Jax: Where's your lovely wife?

Sonny: Where I want her to be.

Carly: She's not here, and if the universe has any compassion at all, she will stay gone. I'm sorry. I know she's your wife, but it's weird. Her hanging out here is just weird. And she's walking around like she's a part of Michael's family, and she's not. And she never will be.

Patrick: Okay, we're making good progress.

Matt: We modeled the protocol perfectly.

Elizabeth: ICP remains normal.

Matt: Pick-ups.

Woman: Do you want irrigation on the anterior side?

Patrick: Yes. We're almost ready for the first implant.

Matt: Like you said, one step at a time.

Patrick: Okay, we're off to a good start but a long way to go.

Sonny: Hey.

Claudia: Hey.

Sonny: How was the check-up?

Claudia: It was good. It was really great. Dr. Lee said that I'm a textbook case, and my blood pressure is totally normal. My vitals are all good, and she said it should be a breeze of a pregnancy for me.

Jax: Are you okay?

Carly: Yeah, I'm going to the ladies room.

Jax: You know, I think it's time you left.

Claudia: No, I'm not leaving. I'm here to support Sonny.

Jax: Yes, and I'm supporting my wife. You know, it would be really nice if you didn't walk in here and talk about how easy your pregnancy is. Carly's risking her life for hers.

Claudia: I didn't think. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Jax: I asked you to leave. I think it would be smart if we didn't argue about it.

Maxie: Say it again.

Spinelli: Maximista.

Maxie: Spinelli.

Ethan: It's pretty clear that Tracy's not letting up on her campaign to run me out of town. I would just like some idea of what I'm up against.

Lulu: It's not that big of a deal.

Ethan: Well, to you, it might be.

Lulu: Well, this is just business as usual. My dad and Tracy are always fighting about something, you know? This month it's you, and next month it's something completely different. I would just ignore them. But you know what? I do sympathize with you. It's really hard being the focus of Tracy's negativity. Why don't you get Tracy off of poor Ethan's back so he can stop waiting for the axe to fall?

Luke: All these questions are killing my buzz. I think Ethan can handle himself. So I'm going to leave you two to figure this out.

Ethan: Poor Ethan? When did you start to care?

[Knock at door]

Rebecca: Hey, Nikolas, come look.

Alexis: Oh, I'll try not to take your obvious disappointment personally.

Rebecca: What do you want, Alexis?

Alexis: Apparently, Helena has compensated you well for your part in whatever havoc she's about to wreak. I'm willing to pay you double if you cut your losses, leave Port Charles, and leave Nikolas alone.

Alexis: When Helena recruited you, and I'm guessing it was in Greece, it must have been a sweet deal. I mean, Emily’s a beautiful girl. Couldn't have been much of a hardship for someone to pay for you to look just like her. And then you throw a real life prince into the mix, and it's kind of hard for a girl of modest means to turn that down, right? Here's what you don't know. Helena doesn't usually kill members of her family. But she always kills her pawns. So what I'm offering you essentially is an alternative of life.

Rebecca: All right, so if I accept everything you say is true, then wouldn't Helena be just as apt to kill me if I were to walk out on our so-called deal?

Alexis: Ah, clever, that's a very good point. I don't want to hurt your feelings, but she would probably not waste the energy.

Nikolas: All right, now I'm angry. Rebecca doesn't work with Helena. And if she did, I really wouldn't give a damn.

Ethan: Not that I'm complaining, but why are you still here?

Lulu: I like it here.

Ethan: That's new.

Lulu: Yeah, well, my dad and I are getting along, and that spells incentive to me.

Ethan: Yeah, I get that. Luke is pretty incredible.

Lulu: You genuinely like him, don't you?

Ethan: Very much. He's an inspiration.

Tracy's voice: If you back up into my car, you buy me a new one.

Tracy: Stop!
