Alexis: See, there it is again. It looks to me like a plastic surgery scar. I'm sure she looked like Emily to begin with. I want you to see it, Nikolas.

Elizabeth: B.P. 76/44 and dropping.

Epiphany: He's going into v-tach.

Robin: 75 of lido, plus she doesn't have 30 seconds.

Patrick: Where is this bleeding coming from?

Robin: It's probably under the vessel. Retract posteriorly.

Matt: She's right. I think I see it. Retract that back.

Patrick: Okay, there it is. Clamp it off. Can you ligate it?

Matt: No, it's just going to retract back again.

Patrick: Can you cauterize it?

Robin: Retraction? Got it.

Patrick: Nice work, Dr. Scorpio.

Jax: Is this what I think it is?

Carly: Yeah, I'm pregnant.

Jax: That's wonderful. We're having a baby.

Carly: Yeah.

Claudia: My husband has made it clear. He doesn't want any more children, so I have to terminate the pregnancy and I don't want to do that --

Sonny: I'm sorry. Give me this. Hi. My wife does not make a decision until she talks to her husband.

Rebecca: Don't you ever touch me again, lady.

Nikolas: Alexis was out of line, but you overreacted.

Alexis: She has a scar on her hairline.

Rebecca: Which you just assume is plastic surgery. Wow, you're a real piece of work, you know that?

Nikolas: Well, what is it? What's the scar?

Rebecca: When I was 10, I fell off my bike. I landed on my head.

Alexis: You expect us to believe that?

Rebecca: Oh, go ahead, pull out your checkbook, Nikolas. Why don't you hire a P.I. to dig up the whole story. I fell on the sidewalk by the Kramerís front yard. Mrs. Kramer picked me up, rushed me to the emergency room where a special doctor stitched me up. I think he was a plastic surgeon. Wow, Alexis, you're right. I have had plastic surgery.

Alexis: I'm not buying any of it.

Rebecca: Obviously, no matter what I say, you're going to turn it against me. No-win situation.

Nikolas: Rebecca, I want to believe you, but she has every right --

Rebecca: You know what? I don't give a damn. I moved here to work at the hospital. And then right away, you were right after me, stalking me, obsessed with me, wouldn't leave me alone. The truth is I felt sorry for you. And then you helped me through my cancer scare and I was grateful, but now it's over. I'm done.

Ethan: Perfect timing. I was getting so lonely all by myself aboard this floating tub, as the boss likes to call it, when in walks an elegant lovely lady.

Helena: Well, I gather you've had lessons from the boss you were referring to?

Ethan: Oh, no, that's merely my first impression.

Helena: And an accurate one at that.

Ethan: May I get you a drink?

Helena: Certainly. Luke always stocks a bottle or two of the very best.

Ethan: Helena, I presume.

Helena: How did you know?

Ethan: Luke mentioned you were in town and was hoping you'd stop by for a visit.

Helena: Well, how kind of him to say so.

Ethan: Mm-hmm. He also mentioned you two have a long and colorful history.

[Helena laughs]

Helena: That is a diplomatic way to put it. Yes, Luke and I have many fond memories. Where is he, by the way?

Ethan: En route as we speak.

Helena: Then I will wait and I will allow you to entertain me.

Ethan: Well, may I ask you what brings you to the chuckles?

Helena: I have some business in town. But tell me about you. How did a young, good-looking Australian with your obvious talents end up in a casino in Upstate New York?

Ethan: Well, I'd gone on a bit of a walkabout and simply stumbled aboard. I took refuge in this gilded palace during a storm, met Luke, and found we have quite a bit in common, including a certain acquaintance of the female persuasion.

Helena: Hmm, what a coincidence.

Ethan: Indeed.

Helena: I have found that very few things happen by chance.

Ethan: Well, I've found that life often turns on surprising twists of fate.

Helena: Looks will only take you so far. I have no tolerance for thievery, except when they're working for me.

Luke: Helena, you know that I value a good bartender above everything. So, please, for me, don't slit the young man's throat.

Elizabeth: The patient is very well.

Patrick: Vitals stable?

Elizabeth: B.P. and heart rate are normal.

Patrick: Keep him on intravenous antibiotics for the next 24 hours.

Elizabeth: Okay. You did a good job in there.

Patrick: Thank you. I have to admit I even surprised myself.

Robin: You even surprised yourself?

Patrick: I have the hands of a god. What can I say?

Robin: Oh. Could you and your ego move over a little so I can grab a towel?

Patrick: Be my guest.

Robin: At least you're honest.

Patrick: Yeah, well, keeping up with that trend, you saved that patient's life. Thank you for convincing me to operate.

Robin: You're welcome. Thank you for the acknowledgement.

Patrick: This is nice, isn't it?

Robin: What?

Patrick: Working together, relaxed, laughing. It feels good.

Robin: Yeah, it does.

Patrick: I'm glad that therapy and the meds are working.

Robin: Me, too. I'm finally starting to feel like myself again.

Patrick: I got an idea. Why don't we get Chinese food to celebrate?

Robin: Okay, but you cannot eat all of my Kung Pao chicken.

Patrick: It's not -- my Kung Pao -- the idea of Chinese food is to share.

Robin: Yeah, share, not hog.

Patrick: Hog, like you do with my stir fried noodles.

Robin: You're such a liar. I do not do that.

Patrick: Okay, fine. We'll get two of each. How's that sound? We'll have leftovers for tomorrow.

Jax: How long have you known?

Carly: Well, I started feeling queasy after you left. And then I had a couple of dizzy spells, which could have been anything.

Jax: We talked every day. Why didn't you tell me?

Carly: Because I -- well, the doctor said I have a hard time conceiving, and I didn't want to get your hopes up.

Jax: How long have you known for sure?

Carly: I just found out. I mean, I took the test and there it is and here you are, and oh, my gosh.

Jax: So you haven't seen a doctor.

Carly: No, not yet.

Jax: But you're feeling okay, right? As far as you know, nothing is wrong.

Sonny: We haven't decided anything yet. We'll get back to you.

Sonny: You're pregnant.

Claudia: Uh-huh.

Sonny: Oh.

Claudia: Pretty much the last thing I expected.

Sonny: We used protection all the time. How could this happen? Why didn't you tell me?

Claudia: Well, because I know that you don't want any more kids.

Sonny: But now this is my responsibility. I made the baby, too, right?

Claudia: No, don't worry about it, Sonny. I will do whatever I have to do, whatever has to be done.

Sonny: No, we're going to handle this together.

Claudia: Okay, how do you want us to handle it?

Sonny: I don't know right now. I need time to think about it.

Rebecca: You've known me for months and in all that time, I've been totally straight with you. If you don't trust me now, then you never will.

Nikolas: I think it's understandable that I have questions.

Rebecca: Yeah, and I've answered them. There's nothing more I can say, but you're still suspicious. I mean, why should I be surprised? Your family is so screwed up. There's no way you could be normal. Psychotic grandmother, paranoid aunt --

Alexis: You can call me whatever names you like. I have every intention of protecting my nephew.

Rebecca: Oh, protect him -- great. Protect him from what? Obviously, I'm supposed to be some evil manipulator who's taking advantage of your attachment to your ex-wife, but name one thing that I've tried to do to you.

Alexis: Look, she obviously knows that the best defense is a good offense.

Rebecca: Maybe you're so obsessed with Emily because she was the one person who could make you believe that you were than all of this, that somehow you could avoid the curse of being yet another whack-job in a whole line of crazies. I don't know. I don't care.

Alexis: You keep saying that, but you're still here.

Rebecca: I never asked you for help. You came to me. Do me a favor. Leave me alone.

Nikolas: If she is innocent, I may regret what I just did.

Luke: What brings you to the chuckles? Run out of people to burn at the stake?

Helena: Are you volunteering?

Luke: Oh, it's tempting to be thought of as meat on a stick for you.

Helena: I hear you've cheated the grim reaper yet again.

Luke: Well, you know what they say. Only the good die young.

Ethan: So this is nothing to worry about.

Luke: My darling, please sheath your blade. It would be terribly inconvenient for me if you killed him. No one to pour drinks at happy hour.

Helena: Aren't you going to introduce me to your quick-fingered employee?

Luke: Ethan Lovett, Helena Cassadine.

Ethan: Of course. She needs no introduction.

Helena: He's clever.

Ethan: We were getting along so beautifully that imagine my surprise at finding a knife to my throat.

Helena: And mine at finding a hand on my wallet.

Luke: Oh, lesson number one, Mr. Lovett, never game this woman unless you're prepared to risk and possibly lose your life.

Helena: You flatter me, Luke.

Ethan: Indeed, that's high praise.

Helena: He's not a bit naive.

Luke: No, we've been working on that.

Helena: Ah-ha, it's good work. And he's cute and he's bright and his instinct for larceny is admirable. Of course, there is only one man who could ever keep up with me.

Luke: Madam, you swell my head.

Helena: Oh.

Luke: Tell me, what is it that brings you here?

Helena: Well, I'm just catching up with my family.

Ethan: Oh, Igor and Vlad. Oh, that's excellent.

Luke: You know, I always called her youngest Vlad.

Luke and Ethan: Great minds.

Luke: But I'd be careful. The lady is a little sensitive about her whacked out gene pool.

Ethan: Good to know.

Luke: You don't want to risk another knife to the jugular.

Ethan: Or a torch to my stake.

[Ethan laughs]

Luke: Oh, that would burn.

Ethan: Yes, that would burn.

Luke: That would be awfully uncomfortable.

Ethan: I know, that would be terrible.

Helena: Well, well, well.

[Helena laughs]

Helena: Isn't this delicious?

Luke and Ethan: What?

Carly: I'm feeling fine, no problems that I'm aware of.

Jax: Did you make an appointment with Dr. Lee?

Carly: I'm going to see her next Wednesday.

Jax: Good, okay. You should probably ask her, you know, if there's any precautions that you should be taking.

Carly: I will.

Jax: Okay, good. Then we have to change your diet.

Carly: I'm going to take prenatal vitamins.

Jax: Well, that's not going to be enough. I mean, cutting out the junk food and eating more greens, you know, like fruits and vegetables --

Carly: We're going to talk about this.

Jax: I'm serious.

Carly: You're cracking the whip already.

Jax: I'm going to be cracking the whip. I don't want anything to go wrong with this pregnancy.

Carly: I know. There's nothing to worry about. I think she's going to be fine.

Jax: "She"? Really.

Carly: Yeah.

Jax: A little early to tell, isn't it?

Carly: Oh, I have a feeling.

Jax: Who am I to question your intuition?

Carly: I know you always wanted a little girl.

Jax: A girl would be great. A boy would be good, too. I don't care what we have as long as the baby is healthy.

Olivia: Hey. Am I interrupting anything?

Sonny: Yeah, but that's never stopped you before.

Olivia: Good point. I remember how I used to always find you out on the fishing pier at Coney Island. Just sitting there looking out at the water. You used to say that sometimes you just need a little peace and quiet away from the neighborhood, the noise and clutter. Sitting there looking out at all that water in the Atlantic used to help you get perspective.

Sonny: I'm trying to get a little perspective right now, but it's just not easy.

Olivia: Okay, that doesn't sound too good.

Sonny: I messed up big time. I should've known better. You know what? I got nobody to blame.

Olivia: What did you do?

Sonny: Claudia is pregnant.

Johnny: What the hell happened? One minute I'm on the phone with you, you're pretending to talk to some doctor about an abortion. Next thing I know, Sonny has grabbed the phone.

Claudia: I'm sorry. I didn't expect him to do that.

Johnny: Thank God he hung up. What did he say to you?

Claudia: He was shocked. He can't believe I'm pregnant.

Johnny: Well, you guys were using protection. He had to have asked how it happened.

Claudia: Well, I just told him condoms aren't 100% effective and left it at that.

Johnny: He wasn't suspicious?

Claudia: He didn't seem to be.

Johnny: Well, you got lucky. This thing could have blown up in your face.

Claudia: It still might. Don't worry. He doesn't want me rushing right out and getting an abortion. He says that any decisions about the baby, we should make them together.

Johnny: That's what you wanted, right?

Claudia: He says he needs to think about it. It was not exactly the reaction I was hoping for.

Johnny: Well, it's better than accusing you of getting pregnant on purpose, which is exactly what you did.

Claudia: Well, John, I just assumed -- with a guy like Sonny, his kids mean everything to him, you know? That he would want me to have this baby, but now I'm not sure. Now I'm starting to wonder whether or not he's going to want me to have an abortion. And that will put me right back where I started -- nothing to protect me when Sonny finds out what I did to Michael.

Jax: I'm so excited. I don't know what to say.

Carly: I've wanted this, too, you know?

Jax: I'm going to be your personal servant from now on, okay? No, no, seriously, whatever you need, I will get you. You snap your fingers, Jax will be getting you stuff left, right, and center. You just have to promise that you're going to ask, okay?

Carly: I promise.

Jax: Promise.

Carly: I promise.

Jax: Good. You know, it's a good thing that we're building a house right now, but we should probably make a little amendment to the plans, put in a nursery.

Carly: That's a great idea.

Jax: Yeah.

Carly: Mm-hmm.

Jax: And so Morgan doesn't feel left out, we'll let him pick out his bedroom. I'm sure he'll pick out the one overlooking the pool.

Carly: You're a great stepfather.

Jax: Thanks. I love Michael and Morgan with all my heart. I didn't need a child of my own, you know. As matter fact, I didn't think that we'd ever have one. But now that it's happened, it's -- it's amazing. It's an amazing feeling. I just don't know if I can wait eight months.

[Carly laughs]

Carly: I love you.

Jax: I love you. I love you. Oh, I'll be right back.

Carly: Where are you going?

Jax: Just wait right here. It's very exciting. You've made me the happiest man on earth.

Olivia: Claudia is pregnant.

Sonny: Yeah. I feel like I'm back in high school, you know, getting a girl knocked up and having to deal with it.

Olivia: Okay, just so you know, that scenario is no picnic for the girl either, okay, so --

Sonny: Okay, but -- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

Olivia: You didn't hurt my feelings. Believe me, my reckless days are far behind me, so don't --

Sonny: I did not want another child. But you know what? After what happened with Michael, I didn't think it was right. My life is not safe for another child.

Olivia: And just so you know, Sonny, Claudia is -- is --

Sonny: What?

Olivia: She's not mother of the year material herself.

Sonny: Well, this marriage wasn't about love. It was about a business arrangement.

Olivia: Well, you've always been one hell of a businessman, haven't you?

Sonny: We had a lot of sex, but I used protection. And I don't know what happened. I got to be honest with you.

Olivia: Well, what can I say? Congratulations. I can't believe I'm going to ask this, but how is Claudia feeling? Is she happy? Is she scared? What?

Sonny: Claudia wants an abortion.

Robin: All I want to do is lay on the couch, take off my shoes -- food, please -- and stuff my face.

Patrick: There's a romantic picture.

Mercedes: Hi, welcome home.

Patrick: Hi. How's our little girl?

Mercedes: Wonderful. I changed her, fed her her bottle, and she's happy as a clam.

Patrick: That's great. Thank you.

Mercedes: If you guys need me to stay the night, that's fine.

Robin: No, we're good. Thank you, though.

Mercedes: Okay. Bye, Emma. Be good.

Patrick: Bye-bye.

Mercedes: She's getting big, isn't she?

Robin: Yeah, changing every day.

Mercedes: All right, well, I'll see you tomorrow, guys.

Patrick: Okay, thanks, good night.

Mercedes: Bye.

Robin: Bye. Thank you.

Patrick: Plates?

Robin: I don't know; let's just eat out of the containers like we always do.

Patrick: Great minds think alike.

Robin: Here you go.

Patrick: Thank you.

Robin: You know what I think we should do?

Patrick: What's that?

Robin: We should take a cooking class together.

Patrick: Together?

Robin: Yes, together. It would be fun. Besides, you're helpless in the kitchen.

Patrick: You know what? I think we should take up sports instead. How's that?

Robin: I don't know about that. We don't really have time for golf and I'm terrible at tennis.

Patrick: Well, that's why I want to take up sports, then I can beat you.

Robin: Why don't you put Emma down so we can eat?

Patrick: Sure. You want her?

Robin: Sure.

Patrick: Mommy's going to take you. There you go. There.

Robin: Hey. Mercedes said you had your bottle. Maybe it's time for a nap? You be good while Daddy and I eat.

Luke: To the glory days of mayhem and murder.

Helena: And to many more to come. Congratulations. There's not even the slightest hint of bitterness.

Luke: That's because I haven't slipped the arsenic into your drink yet.

Helena: And aren't you concerned that I might take advantage of your good will?

Luke: No. As I understand it, you're here to wreak havoc on your grandson's life this time, not mine.

Helena: Family is so messy, isn't it? I should've stayed a virgin.

[Luke laughs]

Helena: And what about you? How do you feel about all of this, Ethan Lovett? Has our conversation become dreadfully dull?

Ethan: Quite the opposite. I'm hanging on every word.

Helena: Well, perhaps we can continue this privately later this evening?

Luke: Behave yourself. The chap is an innocent lamb. Hey, there's some liquor out back. I want you to go get it, bring it in. Go get it.

Luke: Okay, let's get down to it.

Helena: Luke, you have given me so many years of pleasure. I wonder if your son will be so enjoyable.

Luke: Helena, please don't do that. You have put Lucky through enough hell for one lifetime.

Helena: Oh, my darling, a deft parry -- but we both know to whom I am referring. Oh, Luke, it's quite obvious. Ethan is your son.

Luke: You are the queen of mind games.

[Luke chuckles]

Helena: Oh, come on, Luke. It's perfectly obvious that Ethan is your son. No, he's in his early 20's -- further proof, if there need be, that you strayed during your tedious years with Laura. And now you have a late dividend from your clandestine adventures. Oh, I love it. It is so -- so intriguing. I do hope that Ethan turns out to be more rewarding than Mikkos' bastard, Natasha. Natasha has been so dreary, so unpleasant, and she's only soured further with the years.

Luke: Why don't you stick to your own familial train wreck and leave mine to me.

Helena: I can see this is a sensitive subject.

Luke: How far? How far are you willing to push this, my passion vine?

Ethan: If you need anything, like razor wire, body bag --

Helena: Well, you have impeccable timing. I was just leaving. Oh, we'll meet again. And when we do, you can show me what you've learned from your employer.

Ethan: She's one crazy bitch, isn't she?

Luke: Crazy like a fox.

Alexis: Oh, good. I got your call. You said you had something important you wanted to talk about?

Jax: Yes, but before we get into that, I have something very exciting, very unexpected to tell you.

Alexis: Whoo! What is it?

Jax: Carly's pregnant.

[Alexis gasps]

Jax: We're having a baby.

Alexis: Wow!

Jax: I know.

Alexis: You know what? I'm happy for you. I know how much you wanted to have a baby.

Jax: Thanks. I mean, we didn't even think it was possible. I mean, I completely put it out of my mind, and then just like that, out of the blue, it happened.

Alexis: Really? You think it just happens out of the blue?

Jax: Look, I know Carly is not your favorite person, but I am so happy. I'm so in love.

Alexis: Oh, I'm so happy for you and I 'm so glad you're in love, and you're going to be a wonderful father. You deserve all the joy in the world.

Jax: Thanks. Which brings me to the next thing. I'm keeping a secret from Carly.

[Knock at door]

Carly: Come in.

Olivia: Hey.

Carly: Hey.

Olivia: I've got some paperwork to leave for Jax.

Carly: Oh, you just missed him.

Olivia: What, he's home already?

Carly: Yeah, he was back early, and took off right after I gave him the good news.

Olivia: Good news?

Carly: Jax and I are having a baby.

Olivia: Oh, my goodness. Wow, there must be something in the water.

Carly: You pushed and you pushed and I finally took the test, and you're right. We are so happy.

Olivia: Wait a minute, what about the blood disorder? I thought Dr. Lee wasn't going to test you until tomorrow.

[Sonny sighs]

Claudia: I'm glad you're back. We didn't really have a chance to talk about --

Sonny: I've been doing a lot of thinking.

Claudia: Look, I don't want you to worry about hurting my feelings or anything. It's not like I was trying to get pregnant or like I even wanted to.

Sonny: It's not about what we want, what we don't want.

Claudia: Well, we got into this marriage as a business arrangement. It's not like it suddenly became some happy white-picket-fence family or anything like that. So I'm going to terminate. It's supposed to be a relatively painless and easy procedure.

Sonny: I don't want you to have an abortion.

Claudia: You don't want any more kids.

Sonny: Well, it's too late for that. We made the baby; we're going to have it.

Helena: Ah, I see you've managed to locate St. Grigori.

Nikolas: Yes. You know, legend has it that the good saint was able to predict if you're going to heaven or to hell. You sure you want this on a wall staring down at you?

Helena: You are beginning to sound like Natasha. Oh, that miserable creature. I should have destroyed her years ago.

Nikolas: If it's any consolation, she feels the same way about you.

Helena: I wouldn't mind seeing the lovely Rebecca again, however. She brings back such fond memories of dear, insipid Emily.

Nikolas: Why do you really want this painting?

Helena: Well, nostalgia, I suppose. Grigori's life was intertwined with that of our ancestors.

Nikolas: You did say they were raised by wolves.

Helena: Well, in my lifetime, legacy is beginning to matter. Looking backwards allows one to look forward with greater clarity, wouldn't you say?

Nikolas: Why do I get this eerie feeling that this is going to come back to haunt me?

Helena: It's wonderful to see you again, my darling. Well, please, give our beautiful little Spencer a big kiss from his Grammy Hella.

Jax: Jerry is alive.

Alexis: Oh, see, I'm not that surprised.

Jax: Right.

Alexis: They didn't find his body after the boat explosion, so, you know, it's just the kind of thing he would concoct to make a clean escape.

Jax: Yeah, well, he had a lot to escape from.

Alexis: Look, we both know that he was involved in various criminal activities.

Jax: He was also involved with Ian Devlin. He was partnered with him, which means he was partly responsible for Michael being shot.

Alexis: How did you find that out?

Jax: He sent me a DVD explaining it all. And then I had a face-to-face with Jerry in Michaelís room at the Aftercare Institute.

Alexis: Wow. I'm sorry. I know that despite everything he's done, he's your brother, but man, I mean, the fact that he's involved with Michaelís -- this is just really hard to process.

Jax: I know. I was going to tell Carly everything, but now we're having a baby. I can't let Jerry ruin our happiness.

Alexis: You're going to keep this a secret?

Jax: Well, yeah. You have to as well. Carly can't ever know that Jerry was involved in Michaelís shooting.

Carly: I'm having the test on Wednesday. I already told you that.

Olivia: Right. Did you also tell Jax about any of this?

Carly: No. There's no point, Olivia.

Olivia: The point is that you might have a very serious  condition. And if you do, being pregnant could kill you.

Carly: Okay, I may have this disorder, but I may not. There is no reason to worry Jax. And besides, I have a feeling that I'm perfectly fine.

Olivia: Okay, look, I don't want to be a jerk. I don't want to rain on your parade, but your ob-gyn said that you could be at risk. Last time we talked, you were very worried.

Carly: Yes, that was before.

Olivia: Before what? Before you told Jax and you both got really excited, right?

Carly: Yeah, yeah, that's right. This is the miracle that we've been praying for, and I know that this baby is going to be fine.

Claudia: You know, Sonny, if you're just saying that because you thought I was upset on the phone with the abortion clinic, it's really -- it's really okay. I'm going to be fine.

Sonny: You weren't expecting this now, neither was I. I'm not going to terminate a pregnancy because it's inconvenient. It goes against my faith.

Claudia: Well, there are other options. There's adoption --

Sonny: Hell no. This is our kid. We're going to take care of it. I've got the means to support it. That's what I'm going to do. A child has been conceived, and I will give that child the best life I can.

Lucky: You need some help?

Rebecca: Yeah, I dropped my sunglasses when I got off the launch.

Lucky: Let's find them.

Rebecca: I was so ticked off, I wasn't paying attention. I'll be damned if those people cost me the price of a new pair.

Lucky: Here they are.

Rebecca: Thanks.

Lucky: You know, for what it's worth, my brother's family is certifiably whacked.

Rebecca: Oh, gee, you think? Murderous scheming grandmother, paranoid aunt?

Lucky: Just the tip of the iceberg.

Rebecca: Now you're scaring me.

Lucky: I love my brother. He means well. He's definitely the best of the bunch.

Rebecca: That's not saying much.

Lucky: He doesn't mean to be suspicious is what I'm saying. You know, it's just how he was raised.

Rebecca: Lucky, it's really nice of you to stand up for him like that, but I can't deal with it anymore. No matter what I say or do, Nikolas just keeps thinking that I'm some criminal who's out to rob him blind or mess with his head.

Lucky: I understand you're frustrated with Nikolas, but --

Rebecca: Don't make excuses for him. I'm done with Nikolas and his family.

Lucky: Including me?

Rebecca: That depends. Is there anyone on your side of the family that I should know about? Any relatives who have committed murder or been institutionalized?

[Lucky chuckles]

Lucky: How much time do you have?

Jax: Surprise!

Carly: What's all this for?

Jax: Hey. Who's it for?

Carly: Yeah.

Jax: Here's a hint. Uh, a very, very tiny member of the family who's growing faster every day.

Carly: Don't you think this is a bit extravagant?

Jax: You haven't seen nothing yet. You wait until the baby is born.

Carly: You're going to spoil her rotten, aren't you?

Jax: Yes, I am.

Carly: Okay, let's see what you got.

Jax: Well, we have all kinds of stuff. Blankets --

Carly: Oh, and bedding.

Jax: Bedding. And this is called a onesie, apparently, according to the saleslady.

Carly: Oh, look, look.

Jax: Yeah, it's cute, isn't it? And the rest is being brought over tomorrow.

Carly: The rest?

Jax: I bought the entire baby girl section at the store.

Carly: Okay, don't you think you're going a bit overboard?

Jax: Yes, I probably am, but I don't care. I've always wanted this, dreamed about it. I'm going to cherish every moment.

Carly: Thank you. Thank you for being the man of my dreams.

Claudia: You know what, to be honest, I'm really glad that you don't want me to have an abortion.

Sonny: Yeah?

Claudia: I mean, I would have gone ahead and terminated the pregnancy if that's what you wanted, but it's better like this.

Sonny: So we're going to be parents.

[Claudia laughs]

Claudia: It sounds weird when you come right out and say it like that.

Sonny: Well, it's a lot more work than you think it is.

Claudia: I know, so I've heard.

Sonny: I'm going to get you a live-in nanny so you're still free to do what you want to do.

Claudia: Thank you. That sounds good. I'm sure you guessed I'm not the most maternal, but I'm going to do my best.

Sonny: I just don't want you to feel obligated, like -- you know what I'm saying?

Claudia: Well, thank you, but it's not going to be like that. I'm going to spend time with our child and do the whole mother thing. So, you know.

Sonny: All right.

Claudia: Yeah.

Sonny: Thanks.

Claudia: No, thank you. I mean, I appreciate the support. You know, you don't have to worry about us, I mean, you can continue to go on and live your life the way you've been doing. In fact, you don't even have to be involved.

Sonny: What are you talking about? I'm the father of the baby. I have a responsibility. We're going to raise this child together. It's only fair.

Claudia: Okay.

Sonny: Okay.

Claudia: Okay.
