Johnny: What are you, just checking into this planet, Claudia? I told you, the DVD is gone. There is no proof that ties you to Michael Corinthos' shooting, so why are you going to stay with Sonny, let alone have his baby? What are you thinking?

Claudia: John, John, it's an insurance policy, okay? I will go from whore to Madonna in less time than it takes to say, "I'm pregnant."

Johnny: Oh, God.

Claudia: Nothing's more important to Sonny than his children, and by extension, their moms. When I join that very exclusive club, he won't let anything happen to me.

Johnny: Hey, that is a safety net that you don't need, Claudia. Ric has no power over you. The threat's gone.

Claudia: For now, John, but think about it. Somebody erased one of the DVD's. Somebody stole the other DVD. So who, and to what end? So they can come up behind me with the same knife in a different hand? No, having Sonny's baby is my best option.

Johnny: Look, there has got to be a better way to protect you.

Sonny: Hey, Johnny, why does my wife need protecting?

Ric: So it was you, all of it?

Jerry: Surprise. Bad idea you had of inserting yourself in my little game, running around, threatening people with DVD's that don't belong to you. That's not very sporting.

Ric: So let me get this straight. You make a series of DVD's implicating Claudia in Michael's shooting, and then you don't want any of them to surface. Why are you protecting her?

Jerry: I'm protecting the only people in the world that mean the most to me -- my brother, and consequently, his wife.

Jason: I mean, really, is there anyone else you can call? Where's Bobbie?

Carly: It's not like this is the first time you've been with me when I've taken a pregnancy test, Jason.

Jason: I didn't expect it to be a regular thing, though, okay?

Carly: I really need your help with this.

Jason: Okay, hold on. I don't understand why you're so freaked out. I thought you and Jax want to have a baby.

Carly: Yes, I -- it's not that simple, okay? It's --

Jason: No, no, no, don't -- don't even tell me that you and Sonny slept together again.

Carly: I wish that were all it was.

Helena: Well, this house has witnessed many remarkable things, but this -- your friend couldn't look more like Emily if she had been designed that way.

Robin: Maybe you're the one that needs to be on medication, because you've apparently lost your mind. How dare you accuse me of being unfaithful. Hey!

Patrick: What?

Robin: In front of the entire hospital staff, who's gathered around for the reopening? How inappropriate are you?

Patrick: Robin, you sleep with some stranger, and I'm inappropriate? You don't get to complain how I handle you cheating on me.

Robin: I didn't cheat on you.

Patrick: Robin, I saw you, all right? I saw you standing outside your hotel room. I walked up, and I saw this guy kissing "Nancy Green," right after you told him just how perfect he was right at the moment.

Robin: You son of a bitch, how dare you spy on me.

Jason: Okay, when you start by saying sleeping with Sonny is a lot more simple than what's going on right now, that really worries me. So you need to tell me what's going on, Carly.

Carly: If I'm pregnant, Jax is the only possible father.

Jason: That's great, right?

Carly: It's great. It's -- it would be a mir --

Jason: Hey, are you okay?

Carly: I don't know. See, the thing is, I've been having these symptoms that could either be pregnancy or a blood condition or both, and if I'm pregnant and I carry to term, then there could be all kinds of risks.

Jason: You mean for the baby?

Carly: And for me. Look, this condition has a name so long, I'm not even going to try to say it. The bottom line is, it increases your chances of getting a blood clot, and I could throw a clot and I could stroke out, or I could have a brain embolism, and it could kill me.

Jason: Well, are you sure that you even have this disorder? Have you been tested?

Carly: Not yet.

Jason: Okay, so what are you waiting for?

Carly: I want you to help me. I want you to stay here with me.

Jason: Okay.

[Phone rings]

Jason: Hey, what do you got?

Spinelli: The mother lode. The Jackal has critical information, but the complexity is such that the conversation must be had face-to-face.

Jason: Fill me in when I get home.

Carly: By the look on your face, that's important and you have to go, and I understand.

Jason: No -- no, it can wait.

Carly: No, come on. I'm a big girl. I'll be fine.

Jason: Okay, Carly, you can do this, okay? So just take the first step, and find out what's going on.

Carly: Okay.

Jason: You promise me?

Carly: I promise you. I'm okay, really.

Ric: Look, I realize you're the man with the gun, so you don't have to tell me anything, but I wouldn't mind knowing how you fit in all of this.

Jerry: Well, if you really want to know, Ian Devlin and I were working a drug-smuggling ring. I facilitated. He distributed. We split the profits very nice and clean, and then Ian got greedy and accepted a contract on Sonny.

Ric: Yeah, of which you facilitated.

Jerry: Yes, just another business transaction. I wasn't going to shed any tears on Sonny's demise. But you see, unfortunately, Michael was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that ricocheting bullet makes me complicit in the most tragic event in Carly's life.

Ric: Why is Carly such a motivating factor for you?

Jerry: Well, she's my brother's wife. What happens to Carly -- good, bad, or indifferent -- affects Jax. If Carly found out that I played a part in Michael's shooting, however peripheral, she would find Jax guilty by association, you see? Not intentionally, but eventually, she wouldn't be able to stop herself. She'd blame him.

Ric: Hmm, but Jax had nothing to do with what happened that night.

Jerry: Jax is the reason I avoided prison when I took the Metro Court hostage. He's the reason why I am free to begin this chain of unfortunate events that culminated in the loss of Carly's son. Now, I'm not going to have my brother lose his wife because of me. Ergo, I have to remove all traces of self from this sordid affair, starting with you.

Sonny: It's incredibly interesting. Every time I walk in this room, you're in an intense private conversation. Is there something I should know about?

Claudia: It's not some big secret, Sonny. I was just telling John, Ric keeps threatening me with these vague threats and basically making my life miserable.

Johnny: And apparently, you got no problem letting him do that.

Sonny: This is private business between me and my wife. Why is your big nose in it?

Johnny: Maybe I'm bored.

Sonny: Find something to do.

Johnny: That's why I'm here.

Sonny: Oh.

Johnny: You told me a while back you would help me find a place in this organization. I'm here to take you up on that.

Claudia: John, that's wonderful.

Sonny: Oh, I don't know how wonderful it is.

Helena: Well, apparently, the only resemblance between Rebecca and Emily is skin-deep. Now this one is crude. Emily at least had a modicum of good breeding, but this one is foolishly antagonistic.

Rebecca: Oh. Hey, you, don't just walk away, and don't talk about me like I'm not in the room .Even better, don't talk about me at all, since you don't know the first thing about me.

Nikolas: Rebecca --

Rebecca: No, I don't care. I'm not going to be cowed by this woman. I mean, I realize that she's your little grandmother and this is your house, but where does she get off insulting me?

Helena: You can't possibly be this obtuse. Do you honestly think that a woman with your lack of style and class could interest my grandson if you weren't a carbon copy of his dead fiancée? And if not for that unfortunate coincidence, the only way you would be in this house is if you were hired on as kitchen help.

Alexis: It must be snowing in hell. For once, Helena and I agree.

Robin: So this is your idea of love and support, spying on men and then lying about it?

Patrick: I wasn't spying on you. Mac found you. He wanted to go get you, but I convinced him that I'm your husband. I'm the one that should go bring you home. The whole drive to Rochester, I'm going over it in my mind. I don't know what I'm going to find, how hurt and upset I might be. I had to try and convince myself that I got to be reassured, that I got to at least love you and try and get you some help. And then I walk around the corner, and I find you making out with this guy.

Robin: Well, then if you were standing there and saw everything, why didn't you say something?

Patrick: Why do you think I didn't say anything? I was a little shell-shocked. Then I have to remember that you're going through postpartum depression. You don't really know what you're doing. I'm trying to convince myself that the woman making out with this guy isn't really my wife.

Robin: Fine, you know what? You want the truth? This is the truth, okay? I went to some bar in Rochester, met a guy named brad, and he didn't have any preconceived notions of what I was supposed to be, no expectations. We had a couple of drinks. We went to a movie, and yes, Brad came back to my room, but we did not have sex, okay?

Patrick: Great. Now you can convince me why I should believe you.

Spinelli: Greetings on what has been a most confusing, albeit productive day.

Jason: Okay, tell me what you found.

Spinelli: Well, while walking along the docks, I found Maximista kissing the mob prince.

Jason: Wait, this is the critical information you had for me?

Spinelli: Oh, no. No, I'm sorry. My call was in regards to the person that's been siphoning money from Ian Devlin's accounts.

Jason: Okay, is it Ric?

Spinelli: No, most definitely not.

Jason: Okay, so what are you saying?

Spinelli: I'm saying, it was not Darth Lansing who was assisting the mad doctor in his heinous act.

Jason: Okay, Spinelli, you can't be sure it wasn't Ric unless you know for sure it was somebody else. Is that what you're telling me?

Spinelli: Yes, I have proof of another. The demented one lives.

Jason: It's Jerry Jacks. You got to be kidding me!

Spinelli: The mastermind of the Metro Court hostage crisis has been making regular withdrawals from Ian Devlin's secret accounts.

Ric: I don't get it. Look, you got away clean. Everybody bought it. Jerry Jax dies in a boat explosion. Damn his soul to hell. Why would you leave DVD's as a loose end?

Jerry: Well, that's a good question, actually. But you see, I fell prey to my affection for the game, and I thought Claudia would be a more worthy adversary. You see, I get easily bored. It's my fatal flaw. So I tried to engage Claudia in a chase. I was going to lead her back to the DVD, and then she would have found and disposed of the incriminating disks, and the world would have kept on spinning. But then you blundered in.

Ric: So this whole elaborate scam was for the puny purposes of alleviating your boredom and making Claudia squirm? Or was it something a little bit more noble, Jerry? Like Claudia got off too easy for her part in Michael's shooting, and you wanted to see her pay in some way.

Jerry: No, no, no, don't ascribe noble intentions to me. I hit on Claudia. She turned me down. It made me mad, and now you make me mad.

Ric: Okay, you really want to kill me?

Jerry: The question is, what do I get for keeping you alive?

Ric: My silence and my possible participation in any further ventures that you may want to undertake against any number of people.

Jerry: I'll accept that for now. But betray me at your own risk.

Ric: So am I to assume that from what you said that Claudia had absolutely no part in Michael's shooting?

Jerry: Didn't your mum every tell you, never assume?

Sonny: So what happened to all your big plans about getting out of the business? You were going to be a high-end mechanic, settle down with your girlfriend, and lead a law-abiding life.

Johnny: Well, circumstances changed. You married my sister, and now she's determined to stay with you. Claudia trusts she's going to be safe, but I'm not so sure, so I want to stay close. I'll pull my own weight. Hell, I may even be an asset to you.

Sonny: But if push comes to shove, you'll be loyal to Claudia.

Claudia: No, he'll be loyal to us, Sonny.

Sonny: If you don't turn against me.

Claudia: Why would I do that?

Sonny: You tell me.

Johnny: We can use the garage, all right? It's a good front. I set it up legit. It's out of the way, a good place for you to hold those meetings you don't want people to know about.

Sonny: I'll talk to Jason, see what he thinks. If he's on board and all that, then we'll get you something low-level, give you time to prove yourself.

Johnny: I'll prove myself?

Claudia: We appreciate it, Sonny. Thank you. It's great. Yay. He thinks that this can work.

Sonny: We'll see.

Johnny: I'll wait for your call.

Claudia: Thank you. This is going to be great, Sonny. You're going to see, once you start to trust John --

Sonny: What angle are you working here?

Helena: Why, Natasha.

Alexis: Helena.

Helena: It's been so long.

Alexis: Not long enough.

Rebecca: Natasha? I thought her name was Alexis.

Nikolas: It's a long story.

Helena: Of which our family has many. Unfortunately, the happy ending proves elusive.

Alexis: I didn't want you to be alone for phase two of whatever she's contemplating.

Rebecca: Okay, maybe I'm not in the room.

Alexis: Oh, you most certainly are, and your timing is fascinating. Nikolas gets threatened publicly by a psychotic relative, and instead of a normal person, who would run for their lives in another direction, you are right here by his side.

Rebecca: Maybe my invisibility has affected my hearing. I missed the part where you got so mad at me.

Helena: Oh, don't take it personally, my dear. Alexis is mad at the world, perpetually ill-tempered, a most disagreeable child.

Alexis: Actually, she's kind of right about that. I don't buy your act, and you're about as subtle as a freight train.

Nikolas: All right, look, if we're all done sniping at each other, just tell me what I have to do to send you back where you came from.

Helena: You have something of mine. It's locked in a vault at a local bank.

Nikolas: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Alexis: You're not supposed to. The more confusing, the better.

Helena: It's a painting.

Nikolas: A what? So this whole thing -- whatever, a painting of what, of who?

Sonny: Explain something to me.

Claudia: If I can.

Sonny: You and Johnny are close, right?

Claudia: Yeah.

Sonny: You got each other's backs, all for one, one for all, whatever, right?

Claudia: Okay.

Sonny: Why don't you tell him that Ric is pinning Michael's shooting on you?

Claudia: Well, because it's --look, A, for one thing, like you said, it's none of his business, and B, if Johnny even suspected that you think that I had something to do with Michael's shooting, he would be even more concerned for my life. And if you hurt me, he'll kill you.

Sonny: [Laughs] Yeah, he could try.

Claudia: Sonny, come on, I don't --

Sonny: What? I'm just saying. What's he going to do, kill me?

Claudia: I'm dancing around here, trying to play the peacekeeper.

Sonny: All right.

Claudia: The last thing I want is for you and John to be at each other because of some stupid game that Ric put in motion. Why are you going to let him do that? You're going to let him come in here with his divide and conquer mentality? That's exactly what he wants, and he's not going to win, not on my watch. I'm not letting Ric ruin my quality of life. I'm not going to let him get me to run around all scared and nervous and guilty, because I'm not. To be honest with you, it really -- it hurts me that you don't believe in me. But once you realize that there can't be any proof that I was involved in Michael's shooting, because there is none --

Sonny: I hope you're right.

Claudia: Well, I hope that this goes away.

Sonny: I hope, too.

Claudia: Soon, because I can see that this is wearing on you, having to relive the most tragic moment of your entire life.

Sonny: I'm still here, running the organization, trying to coexist with my new wife. Michael's life -- that's stopped. You know what? I've got to tell you this. I'm going to tell you, right -- I will never bring another child into this world.

[Knock on door]

Sam: It's not a bad time, is it? Good, because I'm here to see you.

Spinelli: The Jackal is intrigued.

Sam: The Jackal better get busy, because I found an office.

Spinelli: Our enterprise is about to launch?

Sam: Oh, well, if you like the space, yeah.

Spinelli: Well, oh, is there a transom over the entry? That is greatly to be desired, and are our names in stencil letters over a smoky glass door?

Sam: Oh, um --

Spinelli: Oh, gosh, thank you, goddess of good timing! This finding office space at this particular moment is most fortuitous.

Sam: Why is that?

Spinelli: Well, we are about to launch our new enterprise at the precise moment --

Sam: Yes.

Spinelli: That the Jackal has at last transformed into the hard boiled man of action through the painful acquisition of the requisite broken heart. Perhaps I should develop a taste for brown liquor.

Sam: I don't -- I wouldn't go that far.

Spinelli: Hey, well, I've been collecting supplies for this specific occasion. I'll go up and get them, and we can go off to our new digs if -- unless Stone Cold requires my services?

Jason: No, go.

Sam: Go.

[Sam squeals]

Jason: He's right. The timing's good.

Sam: Why is that?

Jason: Jerry Jacks is alive. Spinelli found proof, and I want him out of it.

Sam: Oh, my God, I can't believe this is happening. You know what? I actually can believe it, because he told us he was going to do this. We should have known better, Jason.

Jason: Okay, there's more. Jerry's connected to Michael's shooting. He's the one who's been taking money out of Ian Devlin's bank account.

Sam: All right, does Sonny know about this yet?

Jason: No, not yet.

Sam: Well, we both know what's going to happen when he does.

Jason: Yeah -- yeah, we both do know what's going to happen.

Sam: Well, and I don't think it could happen to a more deserving guy.

Jason: Unfortunately, it's not that simple.

Epiphany: Mrs. Jacks.

Carly: Hey.

Epiphany: How may I help you?

Carly: Well, I made a last-minute appointment with Dr. Lee, but I went to her office, and she's not there.

Epiphany: Oh, I'm sorry. Somebody should have called you. Dr. Lee got called away to an emergency C-section. You're going to have to reschedule.

Robin: Look, I admit I have been all over the place lately, but we both know why. It's because of the postpartum depression.

Patrick: Or maybe that's just an excuse, Robin.

Robin: Forget it.

Patrick: No. I mean, listen, if you're taking off on your family and hooking up with some guy -- if that can be blamed on postpartum depression, you don't have to look at how you might really be feeling about me and Emma.

Robin: Okay, let me get this straight. You did something borderline unforgivable by broadcasting our private lives to the entire staff, and instead of being, I don't know, apologetic, you're blaming everything about our marriage on me. The hell with you.

Patrick: Robin. Robin.

Robin: Great, I bet you got an earful.

Carly: Uh, no.

Robin: You must be loving this. Postpartum depression, the great equalizer, which makes me as awful a person as you are.

Carly" I have no idea what I just walked up on.

Patrick: I apologize, Carly.

Robin: Don't apologize for me. You have no idea of the history I have with this bitch.

Patrick: Robin, that's enough.

Robin: No, it's not enough. She's lying and a manipulative person, and you're painting me with the same brush.

Carly: And you're being unreasonable, but I get it. It's the condition.

Robin: I don't need you to tell me what's wrong with me.

Carly: Someone needs to tell you. You have a serious condition, and you clearly can't control it.

Robin: So now you're pretending to care what happens to me?

Carly: No, I don't care. But I know how debilitating it can be. I know exactly what you're going through. And I also know that you love your little girl, and you want to be better for her than this. See, you're really good at that, being better than everybody else. So turn it around on yourself.

Patrick: I think enough's been said tonight.

Robin: Hold on, wait, Patrick. Carly's right. You're right. I'm destroying everything that I love, and I don't know how to stop.

Jason: I really wanted this to be Ric. I couldn't even see another possibility. I saw him lurking around that warehouse on the anniversary of Michael's shooting. Sam, I was sure.

Sam: Okay, but are you positive he's completely clear on this?

Jason: Completely, no. I don't even have the proof, but I do against Jerry.

Sam: Okay, what's all this?

Spinelli: Well, it's tools of the P.I. trade. You know, disguises, audio/visual AIDS, devices for detection and surveillance. Shall we go?

Jason: Now, hold on -- hold on.

Spinelli: Oh -- oh, no, Stone Cold doesn't need to trouble himself by looking through my --

Jason: Hmm.

Spinelli: I cannot fathom how a firearm would have found its way into my supply box.

Jason: Do you remember shooting yourself in the foot?

Spinelli: Yes.

Jason: Do you want me to shoot you in your other foot?

Spinelli: No.

Jason: No. No guns, Spinelli.

Spinelli: Okay, look, not to put too fine a point on it, but I -- I believe that my maturity brought on by my painful experience of having loved and lost will make me a better marksman.

Jason: No guns.

Sam: No, no guns.

Spinelli: Very well. I will return shortly.

Jason: Okay, just take as much time as you need.

Spinelli: I appreciate your support.

Jason: Yeah.

Sam: All right, let's go take a look.

Jason: No, no, hold on. Just leave your laptop. I'm going to take care of it.

Sam: Come on.

Ric: Get lost, will you?

Johnny: You're acting like a man with a death wish.

Ric: And you're here to help that along? Get in line.

Johnny: You're going to stop lying about Claudia. Then you're going to stop trying to convince Sonny that she's part of this conspiracy to get Michael Corinthos shot.

Ric: Well, actually, it's a conspiracy against Sonny, but let's not nitpick. But you know what the interesting thing is, Johnny? What you just said does not equate to "my sister is innocent."

Johnny: If Sonny turns on Claudia and so much as harms a hair on her head, I will kill you with my bare hands.

Ric: Ah, well, thank you, Johnny, not that I need convincing. But you showing up here with that edge of desperation in your eyes convinces me that your sister is as guilty as sin.

Claudia: I always assumed that Morgan and Kristina didn't come here because of me, but you have me thinking now, after Michael got shot, did you purposely push your children away?

Sonny: No, not consciously. I didn't get to see Kristina as much as I liked. One of the reasons was, Alexis wouldn't let me see her. She had her own reasons. But Michael and Morgan were different. I spent a lot of time with them. Cried with them, laughed with them.

Sonny: I thought I could protect them, keep them safe. Michael got shot. Carly took the kids away from me.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: I don't want to talk about this, okay?

Sonny: Hello?

Jason: I know who was working with Devlin.

Sonny: I'll be right there. I got someplace I've got to go. Are you going to be here when I get back?

Claudia: I was going to go get some pastries for you. But I could come back after if you want.

Sonny: Yeah, I want.

Alexis: You expect us to believe that you came out of hiding and made that over the top entrance just for a painting?

Helena: Well, it has sentimental value.

Nikolas: What painting is it?

Helena: It's an icon portrait of Saint Gregory.

Alexis: It's important to her because she's very, very religious. Don't give it to her.

Helena: Oh, Alexis, another of your many flaws. No generosity of spirit.

Nikolas: Why that painting?

Helena: Oh, Nikolas. Can't I have my secrets?

Nikolas: No, you can't. Not while you're standing here in my home wanting something from me.

Helena: Very well. The artist painted it for me. I have such fond memories of watching him apply the gold leaf. Stark naked, illuminated by a blinding shaft of sunlight in my sitting room. Do you want me to continue?

Nikolas: No, I don't.

Helena: You know, I could have stolen the painting. But I came here and I asked for it nicely. But know this. I intend to have my property. And until I do, my darling, your ships will sink in the harbor, your trucks will crash, and your business deals will fall apart before your eyes. Now, why not avoid all of this suffering for your hapless employees and give me what I want?

Alexis: You realize this isn't just about art. Or artist appreciation. There's always an agenda with her. We just have to figure out what it is.

Helena: You don't want to tangle with me, Alexis. Unlike Nikolas, I do not have a soft spot in my heart for you. On the contrary, it would give me great pleasure to silence you for good.

Nikolas: I'll give you the painting.

Helena: I knew you'd see reason.

Rebecca: Reason? You just threatened to destroy Nikolas' business.

Helena: And how does that concern you, my dear?

Rebecca: Well, if you've really got to know, he's my friend, and I don't appreciate watching you trying to intimidate him.

Helena: You would be well-advised to speak when spoken to. Say the wrong thing, and someone might be inspired to cut out your tongue.

Rebecca: I'd like to see you try.

Helena: Really?

Nikolas: You don't need to threaten her. I already told you I'd I've you the painting. I just need a few days to find the paperwork to the safety deposit box.

Helena: Well, don't dawdle. Who knows what trouble I could get up to with too much time on my hands? I'm sure our paths will cross again. Alexis, try some collagen. You're not aging well. Nikolas, your mother seems to be doing quite well at her clinic in France.

Rebecca: What a horror show.

Alexis: Oh, well done. You're almost as accomplished as she is.

Rebecca: Meaning?

Alexis: You're Helena’s plant.

Robin: I don't know what to say, honestly. I'm so sorry for putting you through all this. You probably don't believe me.

Patrick: I'm trying.

Robin: Everything you said is true. I have lied, I have lived in denial, I've been defensive. This thing, it takes a hold inside my head. It doesn't have to be rational. All of a sudden, I'm feeling something, some emotion, and it snowballs, and then these words come out of my mouth, and all of a sudden, I'm pushing you away, and that is not what I want to do. I don't want you to go. I love you so much, and I swear on our daughter's life, I did not sleep with brad.

Patrick: It's not all your fault, Robin. I mean, I've been angry and jealous. I've been afraid. And I've let it get to a point where all I do is just attack you, and that's not much help.

Robin: I hate what this has done to us.

Sonny: Twisted little freak. According to you, there was no chance Jerry would survive.

Jason: I don't know how he did, Sonny, but obviously, he's right there.

Sonny: So Ian's moving drugs, Jerry's supplying them. Drugs is not my thing, why would they conspire to murder me?

Jason: I don't know.

Sonny: Okay, I don't like this. It's giving me more questions than answers, like where do Ric and Claudia fit in?

Ric: You know, I'm very good at puzzles. You know, putting pieces together to form a picture, then I draw conclusions. It's what makes me a very, very good lawyer. I also have a very good memory, and I vividly remember you and Claudia being at the hospital the night of Michael's shooting, and you were very upset.

Johnny: A child had just been shot.

Ric: Yes, a child that you barely knew. No, I think it was more like you and Claudia were freaking out because Devlin screwed up and he shot Michael instead. You've been involved in this from the very beginning, haven't you?

Johnny: You spin all the wild scenarios you want, just know one thing. You stay alive as long as my sister stays safe, and not one minute longer.

Ric: Well, given the fact that none of us are in possession of the DVD's that can blow this whole thing sky-high, I'd say it's out of our hands.

Jerry: Well, it looks like our game needs a new twist.

Rebecca: Is Alexis speaking for you, too? You think I'm partnered up with your loony grandmother in some evil plot against you?

Alexis: You mean like finding someone who resembles Emily, and then having her touched up by the best plastic surgeon that money can buy? You are on the hook for God knows what.

Rebecca: I'm starting to think that you're about as whacked as the old broad. I have never had surgery in my life. And I'm not some part of some evil plot with Helena. I've never seen her before tonight, and I hope I never see that witch again. You know what, you were right. You're family's insane. I don't need insanity in my life.

Alexis: She wants you to run after her. Don't do it.

Jerry: I realize you're accustomed to my digital image, but surely you're not speechless.

Claudia: You bastard. You've been torturing me.

Jerry: Well, it's the least you deserve after shooting a child in the head.

Claudia: Let go of me.

Jerry: You see how it circles back the more you try to convolute it? Well, now, calm down before I change my mind about getting you clear.

Claudia: Just tell me why you're here. What are you planning to do today to ruin my life?

Jerry: You're not listening, darling. You see, I've already done it. I've destroyed the remaining DVD's, save one. You see, you're a rather sloppy treasure hunter, and it appears that you've skipped over one of my missives.

Claudia: What are you talking about? There's another DVD in the house?

Jerry: Well, you didn't think I'd leave it all to chance. Every DVD has its own tracking device. It's very high-tech. Only the best for you, Claudia. That's how I managed to find them all, you see. And when you came to reclaim them, I even managed to track the one that Ric made a copy of. As you can see, I'm considerably more thorough than you'll ever be. And soon, there'll be nothing floating around to connect you to Michael's shooting.

Claudia: Except you.

Jerry: Oh, you know. My lips are sealed.

Claudia: Until when?

Jerry: Come on, Claudia. You know me well enough to know that I never give all my leverage. We'll play the future by ear, okay? Oh, there's that lethal gleam in your eyes. Now don't go mucking everything by thinking you can take me out. You're out of your league. All you'll be able to do is to piss me off. And then I might give Sonny the DVD and let justice take its course, after all.

Sonny: So Jerry sent Ian to take me out because he didn't want to do the job himself.

Jason: And Ian was crazy enough, or he was under enough pressure to risk the shot with Michael right there.

Sonny: I don't see Ric in this, do you?

Jason: No, Sonny, I want to believe Ric's involved, but I can't find the proof.

Sonny: Well, at least we know Ric was telling half the truth about what was on those DVD's. He knew that Jerry made the hit, right? He had something to do with it. Now, was he lying about Claudia? I wouldn't put it past Ric.

Jason: She could be involved.

Sonny: There's only one person who has the answers.

Jason: And that's Jerry.

Sonny: Find that piece of garbage! And get the truth out of him any way you can, and you bring him to me.

Carly: So the only day Dr. Lee has for this test is next Wednesday? No, I'll take it, yeah. But can you put me on the cancellation list, please? Thank you.
