Elizabeth: I understand how hurt and angry you are, but you would never consider leaving your own family.

Patrick: I would never leave Emma, but as far as Robin is concerned, Elizabeth, what am I supposed to do? She doesn't want to be with our daughter, and it's increasingly obvious that she doesn't want to be with me.

Elizabeth: Okay -- okay, let's just keep things in perspective.

Patrick: Perspective.

Elizabeth: The most important thing is treating Robin's postpartum depression. Don't get trapped in your jealousy just because you saw her kissing another man.

Nurse: The mammogram suite is right around the corner, and your gown is on the chair.

Rebecca: Okay, thanks. All right, better get going. See you.

Nikolas: Rebecca, wait.

Rebecca: Yeah?

Nikolas: Would you mind if I waited here for you?

Rebecca: Yeah, I'd like that.

Olivia: Okay, Carly, you have the conference call with the Belle Maison managers and the conference with the architect, and Jax, you have a conference call on the Berlin deal.

Jax: Right.

Olivia: And we all need to have a little conversation about the condition of the honeymoon suite.

Jax: Oh.

Carly: We trashed it.

Jax: Yes, kind of.

Olivia: Yeah, kind of. The good news is, though, you break it, you buy it, just like anywhere else.

Jax: Fair enough.

Carly: Yeah, so worth it.

Jax: Oh, so was the part with the ice cubes.

Olivia: Too much information.

Jax: Sorry.

Olivia: So, Jax, did you -- did you happen to take a look at that DVD that came in the mail?

Carly: I didn't see it. Well, you watched it, didn't you? What was on that thing?

Ric: I'm willing to keep the secret of your involvement in Michael's shooting. All you have to do is give me information on Sonny and Jason. I will feed it to the FBI. It shouldn't be too difficult.

Claudia: He never --

Ric: I mean, after all, Sonny seems to like having you close to him.

Claudia: He doesn't tell me anything important, Ric.

Ric: That will have to change.

Claudia: He'll get suspicious.

Ric: Fine, then maybe I should just tell Sonny the truth.

Sonny: Truth about what?

Luke: Home, sweet home.

Ethan: Oh, we just hit the jackpot.

Luke: No "we," dingo-boy -- me. We play this my way, or we don't play.

Ethan: You're a little touchy, aren't you? I mean, after all, we wouldn't even be on this mission without my initiative of swiping the old man's wallet.

Luke: We only lift what we came here to lift. All right, don't forget that. Come on.

Ethan: Well, you've done very well for yourself. Holly would be impressed.

Luke: Oh, my sweet Holly could lift that phone out of Edward's hands with a bat of her eyes, especially if she knew that he was managing millions of dollars with it. So let's do her proud.

Ethan: It would be an honor.

Luke: All right, here's the strategy. I distract him.

Ethan: Mm-hmm.

Luke: You pocket the phone. We crack the password. We raid his portfolio. Then we return the phone later this afternoon, before the old man is any the wiser.

Ethan: You don't think he's going to catch on? I mean, after all, he didn't get a place like this by being stupid.

Luke: Well, that's where the booze comes in.

Edward: This little gadget is a miracle. I'm getting very respectable returns in a terrible market just by punching some keys with my thumbs.

Luke: Oh, wow.

Edward: Oh, it's that young bartender from the Haunted Star.

Ethan: It's a pleasure to see you again, sir.

Edward: What's he doing here?

Luke: Edward, I figured it was high time that I upgrade what I'm pouring for my high rollers at the club, so I brought my assistant over to sample some of your top shelf.

Edward: No, no, no. First you come and drink me out of house and home, and now you bring your bartender over to guzzle up the rest of it. I'm sorry. I won't have it.

Ethan: No, I apologize for the misunderstanding, sir. My pallet is not nearly refined enough to truly appreciate what you drink here at home. That's why my employer and I are hoping to rely on your exquisite taste to tell us what to stock for the haunted star. So if I may --

Edward: Well, yes, certainly. Thank you. So why didn't you explain yourself, huh?

Ethan: Could you explain to me the difference between a single malt and a blend?

Edward: Well, yes. You see, a single malt is a scotch that is made in a single distillery in Scotland, and then it is put into oak barrels to age for three years. Of course, anything that's worth drinking is aged much longer than that, and the area of Scotland is very important, too.

Luke: And where is this one from, Edward?

Tracy: Ethan, how nice to see you.

Nikolas: Look, I simply need to know if my friend's mammogram is routine or if there's a problem. That's it.

Nurse: And I've told you that I can't discuss any patients.

Nikolas: Okay, fine. In any case, I'd like to pay for --

Lucky: Excuse us. I need a word with my brother. What's going on with Rebecca? Is she okay?

Nikolas: Well, that's what I'm trying to find out.

Lucky: So what did you do? Did you follow her again? Did you chase her into traffic?

Nikolas: No -- no, she's here for a mammogram.

Robin: Hey, Elizabeth. I didn't expect to see you here.

Patrick: Judy had to leave, so I came home until Elizabeth would get here.

Robin: Oh, well, I'm sorry for the imposition.

Elizabeth: Oh, not at all. Glad to help.

Robin: So, I might as well tell you, things didn't go very well with Lainey.

Patrick: Yeah, I talked to her at Mercy.

Robin: Well, we should talk.

Elizabeth: Okay, I'm going to go --

Patrick: Actually, Elizabeth, could you stick around a little bit? I got to go back to the hospital, and if you could just wait until I get home.

Robin: Now you don't trust me to be alone with Emma?

Patrick: Robin, I don't want to fight about this right now. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Robin: He's so mad at me. I can't say that I blame him. I'm a failure as a mother.

Elizabeth: Robin, you have an illness that you are choosing not to treat. That's hurting everyone, especially you.

Sonny: You know what, Ric? Just because you're a little higher up in the ranks now doesn't mean you get to show up here any time you want.

Ric: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to overstep. Claudia and I were just ironing out some details, that's all.

Sonny: Do I have to ask what about. Because I don't want to play games with either of you. Can you just tell me what's going on, Ric?

Claudia: Go ahead, Ric. Tell your brother what's going on.

Ric: You sure you want me to do that?

Claudia: Yes.

Ric: Okay. Claudia's been lying to you, Sonny. She's praying that you're not going to find out. She's afraid that you're going to kill her.

Sonny: Skip the dramatics.

Ric: Claudia's done something that she needs to hide. She took a great deal of money from Anthony before the two organizations merged. She's been keeping it for Johnny in case he comes back into the organization. That's why Johnny showed up at the summit, to test the waters, to make sure that everybody knows that Johnny, and not you, is the real heir to the Zacchara organization.

Tracy: Ethan, I am so pleased you had a chance to meet my father. Daddy, isn't he charming?

Edward: He's a fine young man, mm-hmm.

Tracy: Oh, and I know Daddy's going to teach you something much more valuable than my husband.

Ethan: Yes, he was actually just sharing his expertise with us.

Tracy: Over drinks, I see.

Edward: Over scotch, I might add. Now, you see, Ethan, the Haunted Star may not wish to go this high-end, but this is a premium brand.

Ethan: I see, and what about this one? Perhaps you could share your thoughts on that.

Luke: Wife, would you come over here and taste this bourbon for me?

Tracy: Oh, actually, I'm not in the mood for bourbon, and please don't drink all of it.

Luke: Well, I think that Edward's supplier has been switching labels on him.

Edward: Wait, why do you think that?

Luke: Well, taste it. It's very off. It's like someone's drinking out of it and then refilling it with water. Who would do such a thing? Cook maybe?

Edward: Let me taste. It has been watered.

Luke: Who would do it? It wouldn't be my Alice.

Edward: It would have to be Monica. She's fallen off the wagon. I knew it was only a matter of time. Tracy, would you come over here and help us and leave that kid alone?

Tracy: Oh, well, Ethan, why don't you come with us? I'm sure you can tell if scotch has been watered down -- or bourbon or whatever it is. Daddy, look at him. Isn't he handsome? And can you believe that Luke was clever enough to hire him?

Edward: You come along, young man. We have a thing or two to teach you.

Elizabeth: Oh, thank you. That looks good.

Robin: You're welcome. It's the least I could do. I appreciate your help.

Elizabeth: I'm just glad I was home when Patrick called.

Robin: So Emma went right to sleep for you, didn't she?

Elizabeth: She was exhausted.

Robin: I used to always keep really good brie, baguettes, and some good wine in my old apartment in Paris.

Elizabeth: You miss being in Paris.

Robin: I miss my life. And you're a single mom with two kids. You work full-time. I do not know how you do it.

Elizabeth: Well, it's not easy, and I know it would be impossible with postpartum depression.

Robin: Elizabeth, it doesn't make any sense. I mean, I wanted to have a baby so badly, and I'm grateful that she's healthy. I have a wonderful job. I have a great husband. I guess I assumed that -- I don't know -- I'd be like you, because you're so calm and organized. You are. I mean, you work hard, but your kids always come first. That's not a question.

Elizabeth: Yes, if you could only be just like me. Let me see. I'm not married to either one of my children's dads. Cameron has already been exposed to a separation and a divorce. Jake has been exposed to a dangerous lifestyle. My --

Robin: Okay, okay, I get the point.

Elizabeth: Need I go on? It's easy to judge yourself and to say what a bad mom you are, but that's not going to do anyone any good. You have postpartum depression, and blaming yourself for it would be like blaming yourself for getting cancer.

Robin: I've never thought of it that way.

Elizabeth: You wouldn't dream of letting cancer go untreated, would you? So why won't you go to a doctor for postpartum depression?

Carly: [Whispering] that guy.

Carly: Thank you.

Patrick: Hey.

Carly: Hey.

Patrick: Disregard my messages. I just assumed you'd be here.

Carly: Is this about Michael? Is something wrong?

Patrick: No, no, it's not about Michael. As far as I know, there's no change. Listen, this is more of a personal matter, if it's not too painful for you to discuss.

Carly: Sure, whatever you need.

Patrick: Okay. You know, a couple weeks ago, we were talking about Robin's postpartum depression? Well, you were right.

Carly: I'm sorry.

Patrick: Yeah.

Carly: I know that must be awful for Robin, and it can't be a picnic for you, either. I'm really sorry.

Patrick: So obviously, you're okay to talk about it, because listen, Carly, I don't want to push, considering Michael's situation and everything.

Carly: Oh, just tell me what you need.

Patrick: Perspective. Robin and I can't discuss this without getting into a fight, and I just -- I can't help but think if I can -- if I just knew what she was going through, you know, maybe I could help or something.

Carly: Okay, hey, ask me anything. Sit down.

Patrick: Okay, I don't know. Maybe -- I mean, when did you know that you had postpartum depression?

Carly: Early. I mean, I was still in the hospital. God, my life was so complicated then, and I just thought that Michael was going to make it easier, so that tells you I had very unrealistic expectations. I thought Michael was just going to love me and I was going to instinctively know how to take care of him. I wanted a family so bad, and I thought Michael was going to fill that space, but that's not what happened. When Michael was born, he had problems with his heart, and he was in an incubator, and I couldn't even touch him.

Patrick: What was that like?

Carly: It was terrifying. I felt like a complete failure. I felt like the worst mother in the world, and that's why I left Michael with Jason.

Patrick: So when you realized you had postpartum depression, how did you recover? What helped you the most?

Sonny: Ric, if you were so concerned about this money and Johnny Zacchara, why didn't you tell me before?

Ric: Well, you wouldn't hire me before, so why should I help you? Look, you gave me a job, a vote of confidence. I think it's important for you to know what your wife is up to.

Sonny: So you're looking out for me, Ric?

Ric: Hey, you wanted full disclosure. That's all this is. Oh, Claudia's all about her brother. She always has been, Sonny. If she could find a way to sneak him in and undercut us both, she will.

Sonny: I'm just wondering where all this loyalty -- why it's all coming now, you know, all of a sudden.

Ric: As problematic as our relationship may be, I want to help you. I want to prove to you that I am a valuable member of this organization.

Sonny: I appreciate that.

Claudia: You know, obviously, he's still upset that we're together, and that's what this whole thing is --

Sonny: Did you take your father's money?

Claudia: Yes, I did. A lot of it. I had no idea what was going to happen next, and there's no way I was going to end up empty-handed.

Sonny: I'm glad you told me the truth.

Claudia: You knew about it.

Sonny: Well, I mean, hey, you know all about the offshore accounts. Why wouldn't I know about anything?

Claudia: I'm sorry. I should have told you sooner.

Sonny: No, you shouldn't have told me, because I don't blame you. The way your father and Trevor treated you your whole life -- they weren't going to give you any money, anyway.

Claudia: No, they weren't, and it had nothing to do with what he said, nothing to do with John taking over. I just didn't want to end up broke.

Sonny: No problem.

Claudia: You understand that Ric is just trying to turn you against me, right?

Sonny: If I ever turned against you, it's not going to have anything to do with Ric.

Claudia: Well, I'm not going to give you any reason to turn against me at all.

Sonny: Yeah? Not at all, huh?

Claudia: No.

Sonny: Hold on. I got to make a phone call. Gotcha.

Sonny: Bernie, I want to see Johnny Zacchara, now.

Carly: I don't think I could have gotten through my postpartum depression if it weren't for Jason, and that's why I knew he would take better care of Michael than I could. I knew that Michael would be happy and loved, and he was.

Patrick: You were hospitalized for a while, right?

Carly: Yeah -- yeah, that was after I shot Tony Jones. I spent some time in Shadybrook and Ferncliff, and they diagnosed me with postpartum depression. They told me I wasn't responsible for my actions.

Patrick: But you did recover.

Carly: I depended on Jason the whole time I was in the hospital. He took care of Michael.

Patrick: Carly, when you did start to get better, what helped you the most to get through that time?

Carly: Jason never judged me. I mean, he always expected the best, but he was never critical when I made a mistake. You know, he gave me time to heal, and I knew that I had his support the whole time, so that would be my advice to you for Robin. You can't judge her. She has to know that you are on her side, and you need to get her some treatment, and even though she looks down her nose on everybody else, you can't do that to her. Not now.

Patrick: Yeah, you're right. I just have to make sure that Emma's taken care of first.

Carly: I think I can help you with that.

Ric: Ah, I know what you're thinking.

Claudia: I doubt it.

Ric: Oh, now, you're thinking maybe you can stab me in the heart, that is, if you get close enough and if you're prepared, you know? Or maybe you want to strangle me or smother me with a pillow? That's not before I yell out the truth, though.

Claudia: You have a crazy imagination, you know that?

Ric: Well, am I wrong?

Claudia: You can come after me from any angle you want. You stay away from my brother.

Ric: Oh, come on, Claudia. All I told Sonny was that Johnny was your first priority.

Claudia: Yeah, but he knows that already.

Ric: Yeah. So, you were pretty thrilled that Johnny showed up at the summit meeting, weren't you?

Claudia: Yeah, I was proud of him.

Ric: You and Sonny were both pretty surprised about it. It kind of makes me think that John might be the wildcard in all of this.

Claudia: Look, Sonny knows that I'm going to support and protect John, no matter what it costs me.

Ric: Look, what happened down there -- you were pretty slick, calling my bluff. But here's the thing. There is no bluff, Claudia. You are going to feed me information on Sonny and Jason, and you're going to make me happy along the way.

Claudia: Fine, you know what? Go tell him. Tell Sonny. Tell him about Michael. He'll kill me first, Ric, but you know what? Then he'll kill you, especially when he finds out how long you've known about it.

Ric: See, you don't get it. I'm going to win either way.

Jerry's voice: And of course, Claudia would only agree to the deal if we eliminated Sonny. She even chose the time and place of the hit, which was to be at Sonny's warehouse on the night of April --

Olivia: Okay, Mr. Jacks is out of the office this afternoon, but I do expect him in later on today. I can be sure and leave your bid on his desk. Thank you.

Jerry: Persuaded Ian Devlin to complete the task. It never occurred to me that he would pull the trigger.

Nikolas: Not only does Rebecca look exactly like Emily, now there's the potential issue with breast cancer. What are the chances?

Lucky: It doesn't mean that Rebecca is related to Emily.

Nikolas: I'm not going to argue with you about this. I'll admit it. Maybe I am trying to see too many connections between them, but I don't understand why you're trying to see none.

Rebecca: Hey.

Nikolas: Hey.

Rebecca: How are you doing? What are you doing here? Did you call him?

Lucky: No, no. I was just finishing up a statement, and I ran into Nikolas. He told me what's happening. Are you okay?

Rebecca: Yeah, I think so. Nice of you to wait, both of you.

Nikolas: I'm sorry if I told Lucky too much.

Rebecca: It's okay.

[Pager beeps]

Lucky: Excuse me. Listen, they want this statement. I have to get going. So can I call you later?

Rebecca: Yeah, sure, it'd be great.

Nikolas: So, can I give you a ride home? Maybe we can get some coffee, some lunch if you like?

Rebecca: They asked me to wait.

Nikolas: Oh, okay.

Rebecca: An x-ray tech. I know patients are never asked to wait around for good news. I'm really scared.

Nikolas: Well, maybe there's just something wrong with their machines, or they couldn't find the radiologist.

Rebecca: Yeah, I just wish they would have said something, you know?

Nurse: Ms. Shaw, we're going to need more pictures.
