Jerry: You see, I was involved in a little bit of mischief that I put together for Claudia Zacchara. I just couldn't resist. It was such a clever game and the stakes couldn't have been higher. So here goes. Before my little boat trip to nowhere, I hid a series of DVDs in the home of Sonny Corinthos.

[Jerry laughs]

Jax: You're insane.

Jerry: I mean, the idea was for Claudia to find them, you know, to hunt them down as if her life depended on it, which, in fact, it does. I mean, she may have found them by now. And then -- then it occurred to me, a bit late of course, that you and Carly might be profoundly effected by the information on the DVDs. I genuinely had not considered that part of the experience. I mean, Carly is the best thing that happened to you, Jax. You know, she -- I hope you are back together, actually. And actually, if she's around, you might want to hit the stop button. Here we go. Um, a while back, Claudia and I did some business together.

Jax: Get to the point already.

Jerry: Claudia wanted someone to shoot Sonny. Which, of course, I thought was a fool's errand. I was working with Ian Devlin at the time, where we needed to move a significant amount of product. And of course, Claudia would only agree to the deal if we eliminated Sonny. She even showed up at the time and place of the hit, which was to be at Sonny's warehouse on the night of April 4, 2008. I declined and persuaded Ian Devlin to complete the task. It never occurred to me that he would pull the trigger with a child at such close range. I mean, even I wouldn't do that. And I wouldn't have missed Sonny, anyway. So while everyone knows that Ian Devlin is the one who lodged the bullet in little Michael’s brain, almost no one knows that we were both working on orders from Claudia Zacchara.

Carly: Jax? Who are you talking to out there?

Winnifred: The lizard flies at sunset.

Spinelli: Gracious thanks.

Winnifred: The sun shines on the wicked.

Spinelli: Oh, good. You booted up.

Winnifred: Yep.

Spinelli: Okay. Once the Jackal upgrades the priestess' security from five to seven, all -- wait a second.

Winnifred: What?

Spinelli: This can't be possible. Access denied? I think not.

[Computer beeps]

Spinelli: Something is severely amiss.

Winnifred: Okay, the priestess may just intervene for a second.

Spinelli: I'm -- I'm certain --

Winnifred: Let me just try. Sorry.

Spinelli: Oh, I'm sorry.

Winnifred: Can I just sit?

Spinelli: Yeah, sure.

[Spinelli cries out]

Winnifred: Get down.

Sonny: The meeting is crucial. We have to send a strong message to the others in the business about who controls the territory.

Rayner: It sounds good.

Agent: No interference.

Rayner: Now we just need Morgan to come through.

Sonny: The main thing we have to settle tonight is how we move and distribute the product.

Ric: Now, if you think I'm bluffing, we could always play this, but you want to make sure you turn it up real loud with surround sound. You know, in living color, Jerry Jacks describing how you were responsible for arranging the hit that put Michael in a coma.

Claudia: What do you want, Ric?

Ric: Oh, what any other loving uncle would want. Justice for Michael, you know, peace of mind for his parents. I mean, don't you think that Sonny should know about the woman that he married?

Claudia: Come on. If you really believed that, you would be having this conversation with Sonny right now. But you're having it with me, because you want to make a deal.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Patrick: Thank you so much for coming by.

Elizabeth: Yeah, of course. It worked out because lucky has the boys tonight. And for the record, I really love fussing over a little girl.

Patrick: You're doing me a huge favor, and somehow you make it sound like you're grateful to me.

Elizabeth: I mean it. Anything to help.

Patrick: Uh, so Robin is in -- she's in Rochester.

Elizabeth: You spoke to her?

Patrick: No, Mac tracked her down. She's in some hotel or something.

Elizabeth: Well, you're going to go get her, right?

Patrick: Well, yeah, that's where Mac and I have a difference of opinion. He seems to think that he should be the one to bring her home, and obviously, I do. I mean, I'm her husband.

Elizabeth: Right, yes, so you -- so why aren't you out the door?

Patrick: I don't know what I'm going to say to her, you know? I'm furious, I'm frustrated, but most of all, I just want this to go away.

Elizabeth: Well, I'm sure she does, too.

Patrick: You know, I've gone over it in my head, trying to figure out what I'm going to say to her, and I still don't know what the hell she's going to say back to me. And whatever it is we say to each other, there's no guarantee that she's going to come home with me.

Robin: Sorry about these wineglasses.

Brad: Oh, you don't have to apologize. I'm just happy to be here with you.

Robin: So how's that messed up finger of yours doing?

Brad: I almost forgot about it. It's the curse of a carpenter. You bang up your hands so much, and you forget about the pain.

[Robin laughs]

Robin: That either sounds tragic or noble. I'm not sure which.

Brad: Well, it was worth the injury to get to meet you, Nancy.

Robin: Yeah, I wasn't sure what this trip would bring for me, but, uh, you've been a really nice surprise.

Brad: To surprises and getting to know you better.

Robin: To getting to know you better.

Carly: Jax, is everything okay?

Jax: Yeah. Yeah, everything's fine.

[Jax sighs]

Carly: Well, that was weird. I could have sworn I heard Jerry's voice.

Sam: Psst. There you are. Okay, we have to eliminate the evidence against you, and I cannot do it without the two of you.

Sonny: It's not a good time to discuss this --

Jason: No, no, no. This is as good a time as any. You know, business is getting more competitive. How -- how willing are you to share market profits with the other organizations?

Sonny: I have to think this through. It's not going to matter either way if I can't make it clear what the boundaries are and how the territories are divided.

Jason: Okay, what about changing shipping routes? I mean, that can really send -- send a message.

Sonny: I have to work with our partners in Colombia. They are developing close ties with a new distributor in Bogotá.

Rayner: Good.

Jason: Changing distributors now? I mean, Sonny, that could blow up in our face. These guys play hardball.

Sonny: Listen to me. We're going to have to have one-on-one negotiations. How soon can you get to Colombia to deal with the sources, if you know what I'm saying?

Jason: I can -- I can be out of here tomorrow if that's what you want. But how are we going to get these guys their money?

Sonny: Since when are you hands-on with the books? You hate the business end of things. I don't want you touching it.

Ric: You know, I never imagined that you were capable of something like this. I mean, a child -- not just any child, my nephew. It's chilling to find out that somebody you were so intimate with can actually be lacking a soul.

Claudia: Oh, you know what? Don't pretend that you care what happened to Michael. You couldn't have planned this better. I dump you and you find something that you can blackmail me with.

Ric: Oh, blackmail? I don't call it blackmail. I'd actually call it creative justice. Now, my problem is, how do I avenge Michael? The logical, ethical thing would be to give this DVD to Sonny and just let the chips fall.

Claudia: I don't know how you even say the word "ethical" with a straight face to me.

Ric: You see, if I do that, then Sonny's going to undoubtedly kill you, and that would just be such waste.

Claudia: Don't tell me. I still make your heart go pitter-pat.

Ric: Killing you is not going to bring Michael back. So come on, let's -- you and me, let's figure this out. How can we make this misfortune and your guilt, which is obviously very, very deserved, um, work for somebody here? You know, somebody's advantage?

Claudia: Somebody like you? Come on, Ric, cut to the chase. If you're going to blackmail me, do it. What do you want?

Johnny: Hey.

Lulu: Hey. Where are you going all dressed up?

Johnny: Oh, I left you a note.

Lulu: Well, I got us some pad Thai and egg rolls. You said that you wanted to have some Thai food the other night, so I thought --

Johnny: I'm sorry, but this came up last minute, Lulu.

Lulu: Well, if Kate is making you go to another "Crimson" thing with Maxie, she should give you some advanced notice.

Johnny: No, no, no, this has nothing to do with "Crimson." Claudia and Sonny are having a party.

Lulu: Oh, so you taking Maxie to that, too? Because I don't remember getting asked to go.

Johnny: No, it's actually going to be a bunch of representatives from all the different families. It's all business.

Lulu: That doesn't begin to explain why you're going.

Johnny: My sister wants me there. Think of it as like a coming out party for Sonny so he can assert his --

Lulu: You're supposed to be out of the mob.

Johnny: I am. My sister needs me there.

Lulu: Your sister? That's just an excuse.

Johnny: You know what? You don't understand. It's not worth it.

Lulu: Why don't you just admit that you want to go back to the mob?

Maxie: Oh. More drama?

Johnny: I don't have time for this. Excuse me.

Maxie: What did you do?

Lulu: No, don't. Johnny is going to a party for the mob. And worse than that, he just walked out on me in the middle of a disagreement.

Maxie: Do you even listen to yourself, ever? Johnny just left here because he was going to some mobster social event, which implies life or death, so maybe you should try to be a little more compassionate.

Ric: Mm, I'm going to have to give this some serious thought. What could I do with such valuable information, huh?

Claudia: Give it to me. I know what to do with it.

Ric: I'm sure you would, but I've got bigger plans. Come on, Claudia. Surely, there must be something you're willing to part with so that Sonny doesn't find out the man who was working for you shot Michael.

Claudia: What do you want? Tell Sonny if you're going to tell him.

Ric: Okay, or I could just keep my mouth shut and in exchange, you'd give me what?

Claudia: Money? I have millions of dollars in offshore accounts, Ric.

Ric: No, no, no, money's nice, but I've got all I need. Now, access to power, that's a different story. So what can you offer on that end?

Claudia: What do you want?

Ric: Well, for starters, I'd really like for you to have a change in attitude, because this surly, nasty edge is just not attractive.

Claudia: Yeah, it's hard to get turned on when I'm being threatened, Ric.

Ric: Well, you're looking at it all wrong. I'm not your enemy, Claudia.

Claudia: Really?

Ric: Yeah. Why don't you start looking at me the way you used to when we first got together, huh? Or better yet, if you're having trouble with that, why don't you look at me as the guy who's holding your life in my hands? Okay?

Ric: Get dressed. There's a party.

Jax: All right, I'll confess. I was on a business call while you were in the shower.

[Carly gasps]

Jax: I'm sorry. I broke the rules.

Carly: You promised. Oh, is it bad news?

Jax: Yeah, it could be better.

Carly: Was it the Berlin deal?

Jax: I don't really want to talk about negative stuff right now. It's fine.

Carly: Well, I don't really want to be selfish. And, you know, if I'm going to be a good wife, I need to take the good with the bad, so -- it was the Berlin project, wasn't it? I'm so sorry. I know how excited you were about that.

Jax: No, it's -- it's okay. It's just a zoning problem. I'm sure that they'll figure it out.

Carly: You know what? When you're annoyed, you sound just like your brother.

Jax: Really?

Carly: Mm-hmm. I mean, at least you did from the other room. Thank God you're nothing like him.

Jax: Yeah, well, I try not to be.

Carly: Mm, no comparison. I'm sorry, I don't mean to speak ill of the dead, but I just think your brother took advantage of your love for him. And that is all that I am going to say about your brother tonight --

Jax: Okay.

Carly: After we renewed our vows. Come sit next to me. Hi.

Jax: You know what? If we go back to bed now, we're never going to make it to dinner.

Carly: And the problem with that would be?

Jax: You said you were starving, remember?

Carly: I am. Okay. I guess there is more than one way to celebrate. I'll be back in a minute.

Jax: Okay.

Spinelli: It is most fortuitous that fair Samantha pilfered the federal one's I.D. Now, I just need to transfer the high level security clearance onto the priestess' I.D.

Winnifred: Yes, so that I can go to the storage area and procure the flash drive that contains the classified documents that constitute the evidence against my friend.

Sam: Okay, okay, but are you sure the flash drive is the only remaining evidence we have?

Winnifred: Yes. The tapeworm that the Jackal ran? It corrupted the file in the main system. And so far, that has remained undetected, which means time is of the essence.

Sam: What's your progress?

Spinelli: The Jackal will not be defeated by FBI security measures. There's more at stake than just my freedom. I fight to remain in the place that I call home with the people that I hold dear.

Winnifred: A little less editorializing and maybe a little more hacking, please? There's no telling how long Agent Rayner will be distracted by this mob summit.

Jason: Okay, what about that one about the South American partners?

Sonny: Things need to settle, but I'm very confident that --

Man: Mr. Corinthos.

Sonny: Paulie.

Paulie: You look well.

Sonny: Thank you for coming. Um, you don't have a drink in your hand. I bought you your favorite brand of scotch, so --

Paulie: Always a gentleman, Mr. Corinthos. It's good to have you back.

Sonny: That was a good start.

Jason: Okay, back to the South American partners. Will you -- we're going to deal with it tomorrow.

Jason: No, there's too many -- too many variables.

Sonny: Okay, the partners there, they need to know that things are stabilized. Once I've proven that I'm in control, I can guarantee you that the shipments will double in size --

Jason: Okay, as long as the quality is not effected –

Ric: Hey, why so tense? Come on, it's a party. It's not a hit.

Jason: Why are you here?

Sonny: I invited him.

Ric: Yes, I am a guest.

Jason: Well, you should have told me.

Ric: Come on, Jason. I'm not here to cause trouble. I actually can be very useful to Sonny. I want to help facilitate a fresh start. And with that, I cannot stress enough how important it is that Jason make a public show of stepping down tonight. You need to make it absolutely clear that he is your second and will not challenge your authority.

Carly: So do I look like a newlywed?

Jax: You look absolutely beautiful.

Carly: Oh. You seem distracted.

Jax: Oh -- no, I was just thinking -- I was thinking about how I can't believe that I considered ending our marriage. I guess it takes nearly losing something to realize how precious it is.

Carly: Hey, none of that. The point of renewing our vows was looking forward.

Jax: Right.

Carly: Not looking in the past. And hey, one of the best things to come out of our marriage almost crashing and burning was this. Me being in your arms. This is where I belong. And complete trust. You taught me that.

Jax: Right. Why, I can't promise that I'll be perfect.

Carly: Oh, but we can promise to try. I know that I'm always going to turn to you first, instead of trying to fix things on my own because that always gets me into trouble. And most importantly, I promise you to never keep a secret from you again. No more secrets. I'm sorry.

Jax: Okay.

Carly: Mm.

Jax: If we don't leave now, we're never going to get out of this room.

Carly: Oh, you're right.

Paulie: Hi, Claudia. How are you?

Claudia: Good to see you. How are you? Hello, gentlemen.

Sonny: This is -- you know, this is going to be the best year the business has ever seen. And I'll tell you something right now. It is the best we've ever brought in.

Jason: I hope you're right.

Rayner: Come on. Come on, Corinthos, get specific.

Sonny: You're welcome to try it.

Jason: You know I never touch the stuff.

Claudia: Sorry I'm late. It took me longer to get ready than I expected.

Sonny: Don't worry about it. Everybody's here. Everybody's good. Right?

Claudia: Hey, you see that guy right there? That's Sal Miller. He was one of my uncle's top guys. You should meet him.

Sonny: Yeah, uh, after I make a statement.

Rayner: This should be interesting.

Ric: If that dress doesn't get everybody's attention, nothing will.

Claudia: Tonight's not really about me.

Ric: Well, not much. Okay, this is your cue, Jason. Time to let everybody in the room officially know that Sonny's in charge, and you can go back to being his enforcer, what you do best. Killing when people --

Jason: Shut your mouth.

Sonny: Hey, hey, hey.

Jason: Shut up!

Ric: You want to reign your man in here?

Sonny: No, no, no.

Agent: We lost reception.

Rayner: Fix it.

Agent: Something happened to the wire. It's not on our end.

Ric: Take a good, hard look, Sonny. Does this look like a man who's ready to relinquish his position?

Sonny: Hey, take it easy. Right now's not the time.

Jason: You still here, Ric?

Claudia: Okay, look. You know what? Ric -- Ric has a point. This is not the message that we want to send tonight. Right?

Sonny: Looks like your brother showed up.

Claudia: You changed your mind.

Johnny: Yeah. Aren't you happy to see me?

Claudia: Not if you're here to tell Sonny to divorce me.

Johnny: I came because you said it was important.

Claudia: Johnny, please, I need your support. I can't -- I can't handle anymore trouble tonight.

Lulu: You know, I think that I get to be upset that Johnny walked out on me in the middle of a disagreement after he swore to me a hundred times over that he didn't want anything to do with the mob. Do you want some of this?

Maxie: Yeah, sure. Um, I think you need to make up your mind, Lulu. Not to long ago you wouldn't have cared if your boyfriend was in the mob or not.

Lulu: Oh, I don't care. It's Johnny who cares. He made such a big deal about distancing himself from every bad thing that his family has done.

Maxie: Well, obviously something has changed his mind.

Lulu: Claudia. Here.

Maxie: Thank you.

Lulu: She breaks a fingernail and he rushes to go fix it. And that would be fine, if he would just own it.

Maxie: We're not judgmental at all, are we?

Lulu: It just -- it drives me crazy that Johnny acts all tortured by the mob and he swears he's staying away. And then, like, the first chance he gets, he turns around and walks into a mob meeting. And that would be fine if he would just admit it.

Maxie: Maybe it's not that simple. You should try to be a little more understanding.

Lulu: I'm sorry, what?

Maxie: Claudia's like the only real family that Johnny has. She means a lot to him. So it makes sense that he would show up if she asked him to.

Lulu: Since when do you know more about my boyfriend than me?

Elizabeth: Hey. Why are you not in Rochester?

Patrick: How's Emma?

Elizabeth: She's fed, changed, sleeping, and adorable.

Patrick: I don't know how I'm going to thank you for everything you've done here.

Elizabeth: You can start by getting Robin.

Patrick: Yeah, I'm just trying to get more information on how to get my wife back, you know, with websites and pamphlets on postpartum depression. I still don't know how to get through to Robin.

Elizabeth: You're not going to do it sitting behind a computer. You know, she still is just Robin, who you love. What if you guys -- what if you got into some ordinary fight? How would you fix it?

Patrick: This isn't ordinary, Elizabeth. You know, she got in a car. She made a decision to leave me and Emma and her home and her job -- everything.

Elizabeth: I'm pretty sure walking in with a list full of grievances isn't the way to reach her.

Patrick: So do I just ignore the fact that my whole world is upside down, let alone, Emma’s? Let Robin just convinced me that I'm the one that's mistaken again?

Elizabeth: You need to drag yourself out of this house and face Robin, or nothing is going to get better.

Brad: My grandfather taught me how to build everything. Turning nothing into something.

Robin: Hmm. I'm not so sure I'd brag about that.

[Robin laughs]

Brad: Your hands are soft.

Robin: Your hands are strong. I like a man that works with his hands. My, uh, my dad, when I was younger, he built us this great big tree house in the backyard. It was my special fort. I could go there and pretend to be anybody that I wanted.

Brad: So who do you want to be right now?

Robin: Nancy Green from San Francisco.

Brad: Done. So this tree house, was it an all girl's tree house or were boys allowed, too?

Robin: Well, that depended on the boy. Of course, I was the boss, so I got to decide who comes in.

Brad: Oh, a control freak.

Robin: Yeah. It worked for me, up until -- anyway, I guess I've always liked order, you know, knowing what to expect and when to expect it. I guess it comes from having an unpredictable childhood.

Brad: Mm, I like a woman that's not afraid to question herself.

Robin: Yeah. Lots of questions, not that many answers. But I'm trying to be more spontaneous.

Brad: Well, maybe I could help.

Robin: Maybe you can.

Robin: Wait, wait. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

Brad: It's okay, it's okay. I guess it was an all-girls tree house.

[Brad chuckles]

Robin: I haven't -- I haven't been fair to anybody, including you.

Brad: It's okay. Nancy, I like you. I do.

Robin: You don't even know me. That's not your fault.

Brad: Look, I didn't mean to get you upset, okay? If this date ended right now, I would be really, really happy. Maybe I'd be a little confused by the whole back and forth, and maybe I shouldn't be confused. I should just take it at face value.

Robin: No, you shouldn't have to deal with my garbage, I mean, it's -- you deserve better than that.

Brad: I think that this breakup that you're coming off of, it's a lot more difficult than you're pretending to let it be.

Robin: I thought I had found the one. Well, I did find the one. I had the career of my dreams, a family that loves me. Hell, I even decorated my house exactly how I thought it should look. But then one day I woke up and I thought, "This is my life." It's like, every decision that I've ever made, all of the choices, they just turned out to be the wrong one. And I can't help but feel like I'm drowning.

Elizabeth: Patrick, I can so relate to what you're going through. Watching someone you love deal with something that you just don't understand, and then you become the enabler and you both end up getting hurt. I know. I've been there.

Patrick: So you think it's comparable to what you went through with Lucky's addiction?

Elizabeth: Obviously it's not the same thing, but yes, there are similarities. And I convinced myself that what I was doing was in Lucky's best interest. I was supporting him. I was understanding him. I was on the side of the angels.

Patrick: That's a hell of a burden, isn't it?

Elizabeth: But I knew that he was messing up and he was lying to me and cheating on me. And the more -- the angrier I got, the more hurt I became and the more I started to resent him. And the next thing you know, the breach was so deep, I couldn't get past it. And I would really, really hate to see that happen to you and Robin.

Patrick: You see, that's the thing, Elizabeth. I don't want to criticize Robin for something that she can't help.

Elizabeth: Well, then don't attack her. Just be honest with her. And it's not going to do you any good to beat yourself up. Remember what it is that you really want.

Patrick: I want Robin back here, home. I want her to get help. I want her to get well. I want us to be a family again.

Elizabeth: Then go get your wife.

Winnifred: We can't stay here much longer.

Spinelli: There isn't a program the Jackal can't master. Transferring the federal one's security clearance to the priestess' I.D. should be child's play.

Sam: Give me Rayner's pass. I'm going to go in there and get it myself.

Winnifred: No, Agent Rayner is very well-known. All it will take is for someone to take a closer look at that pass, and you'll be arrested.

Sam: I have bluffed my way out of tougher situations. Hand it over.

Spinelli: Please, please. All I need is more time.

Agent: I can't restore reception.

Rayner: Then I'm going to have to play this another way.

Johnny: What kind of trouble are you in?

Claudia: Keep your voice down, okay?

Johnny: Just tell me what Sonny did to you.

Claudia: It wasn't Sonny. It was Ric.

Johnny: Now what the hell is Lansing’s problem?

Claudia: I got it. I'm handling it. I just need you to be cool. Don't cause trouble.

Johnny: This room is full of our family's allies. I could have Lansing booted in a heartbeat.

Claudia: Don't. You can't antagonize him, John. If you do, everything will fall apart.

Johnny: What the hell is going on?

Sonny: I want to thank you all for coming. I really appreciate it. I just want to talk to you about something. I know during these tough economic times that businesses all over the country have a choice to consolidate or to go bankrupt. With the unfortunate health problems facing Anthony Zacchara, I've made a decision for the Corinthos family to consolidate all associated businesses.

Man: Okay.

Sonny: Clear on that?

Jason: Sonny has my full support. The Corinthos organization is back under his leadership.

Sonny: I appreciate that, Jason. I know I can count on you. I always have. And I don't think there is anybody in here who doubts the trust of my second in command.

Johnny: There's something I want to say on behalf of the Zacchara family. I can't think of anyone better equipped to take over than Sonny Corinthos. Even my father could see that when he blessed Sonny's entry into our organization. Well, the fact that Sonny is my brother-in-law didn't hurt things, but I have total faith in my brother-in-law. It's no secret that my father's emotional problems have forced him into retirement. And Trevor Lansing may have been next in line, but he made some foolish mistakes --

[Cell phone rings]

Johnny: That played against the family, and ultimately put us all in jeopardy.

Jason: Yeah.

Rayner: Say good night and get to my office.

Johnny: And stable leadership. I want to assure Sonny that I'm going to do everything I can to support his transition and the new regime. Salud.

Maxie: I have to find things to talk about with Johnny besides fashion on those endless car rides to and from our "Crimson" events.

Lulu: You could take a nap.

Maxie: Yeah, then you could accuse me of sleeping with your boyfriend.

Lulu: You could make some calls, text Federico. I'm sure you can come up with something creative to pass the time.

Maxie: Lulu, I think Johnny is an interesting guy. He's dark and complicated. And if you had half of a brain, you would embrace that part of him.

Lulu: Is that what you want to do, Maxie, embrace my boyfriend?

Maxie: Don't be so paranoid.

[Spinelli sighs]

Spinelli: The Jackal returns after a long and fruitless day.

Maxie: You never should have left. If you saw the wrong person, you could have been shot. Are you hungry?

Spinelli: Mm-hmm. Not to worry, I used the freight elevator to get to the fourth floor, then backtracked to the second floor using the stairs. I thought about traversing through the air ducts, a mode that I am much familiar with, but all this subterfuge may be in vain anyway.

Lulu: What happened?

Spinelli: The mission to save the Jackal is potentially doomed. And if I end up in prison, it is inevitable that Maximista will further --

Lulu: Maximista will further what?

Sonny: Paulie, Pauline, Pauline, thank you for coming.

Paulie: I look forward to doing business with you. You're lucky to have such a beautiful woman by your side.

[Claudia giggles]

Claudia: Paulie, you always flatter me.

Ric: I've just been talking to Sal, and he informs me that he's been contacted by our friend in Puerto Rico.

Sonny: Really. What did he have to say, Sal?

Claudia: Hey, can it wait?

Johnny: I did what you asked. I gave Sonny my unconditional support. Now it's your turn.

Claudia: I appreciate it, so thanks.

Johnny: I need to know what's wrong.

Claudia: John, not here. Come on, I'll walk you out.

Sonny: Well, hey, you know what, Sal? Thank you for giving me the information. I'll make sure it gets taken care of.

Sal: Well, you can always count on me, Mr. Corinthos.

Sonny: All right.

Ric: Thanks a lot, Sal. Well, that was some party, huh?

Sonny: Claudia knows what she's doing.

Ric: Yeah, it's a shame you're putting your trust in the wrong people, though. Fortunately, this time I'm in a position to help you discover the truth.

Carly: Was dinner as good as I think, or am I just madly in love?

Jax: I think it was a little of both.

Carly: You know what I think?

Jax: What?

Carly: I think we should renew our vows every week.

Jax: We don't have to do that. We just have to make time for each other.

Carly: You're right. We should make a date every week and keep it, no matter what.

Jax: Oh, that's very sweet of you. But that's not going to work, because you'd be bored by week two.

Carly: Am I that predictable?

Jax: Yeah, you're addicted to spontaneity. And it falls on me to keep things interesting.

Carly: What kind of interesting?

Jax: Well, let's just say it's in a little black box with something shiny inside.

Carly: Where is it? I love presents. You know I love presents.

Jax: I have to go get it. It's in the hotel safe, so I'll be right back, okay?

Carly: Well, hurry back.

Jax: Don't go anywhere.

Carly: He left it in the hotel safe? Oh! Wow!

Carly: Did he finish his dinner?

[Carly groans]

Carly: No, pry that remote out of his hand and make him finish his homework. Yes, we're having so much fun. Mm-hmm. Tell him I love him. Bye. Where's my surprise?

Sonny: If this is your attempt to undermine Jason, don't bother.

Ric: Jason doesn't matter to me.

Sonny: That's a lie, Ric. We both know that. You hate him so much you could choke on it. And the fact that you don't admit to that, it makes me not even want to hear what you've got to say.

Ric: Oh, if that's the case, then hey, why should I bother?

Sonny: Okay, spit it out. It's all right, just say what you got to say.

Ric: Come on, don't be so dismissive, okay?

Sonny: No --

Ric: Look, I have vital information that could change your life.

Sonny's voice: If you doubt me, you're welcome to try.

Jason's voice: You know I never touch the stuff.

Rayner: You're just in time.

Sonny's voice: How can you sell the stuff and not even taste it? I mean, what do you have against coffee beans?

Jason's voice: I don't mind selling them. I just -- I hope we all get rich off the coffee business.

Rayner: Coffee? The whole damn conversation was about coffee.

Jason: I wore your wire. I can't help what we discussed.

Rayner: You gave Sonny a heads-up. You told him not to say anything that might incriminate him. I'm widening the search for Spinelli -- oh, and I'm placing you under arrest.

Man: Who are you? This is a secured area. Let me see your I.D.

Robin: Listen, I know that I gave out mixed signals, and I feel really bad about that.

Brad: It's obvious that whatever you're going through, you don't need any more complications. I've always wanted to be somebody's complication.

[Brad and Robin laugh]

Robin: Well, you've been better to me than I've deserved.

Brad: I'm not complaining.
