Winnifred: Agent Winnifred Leeds, FBI.
Jason: I know who you are.
Winnifred: Yes. Well, I'm here to speak with you on a matter of a most serious nature. Oh.
Jason: You're here to talk to me about what?
Winnifred: I beseech you; Stone Cold must find a way to save the Jackal.
Maxie: Your poor lungs. Spinelli, after everything you've been through, no wonder you're such a mess.
Johnny: He was caught in that fire a lot longer than we were.
Maxie: I think maybe he needs to see a doctor.
Spinelli: I was seen by numerous physicians at the scene of the conflagration.
Lulu: You were probably told the same thing they told Tracy. You've just got to give yourself time to recover.
Spinelli: I appreciate your kind concern, but the Jackal's physiognomy is fully --
Maxie: Oh, this is awful. There's no way he can be my escort.
Nikolas: Oh, hi.
Alexis: You are not allowed to get trapped in a fire, a flood, a cave-in, a hostage situation, or any other kind of disaster ever again. Do you hear me?
Nikolas: I love you, too, Alexis. Sit down.
Alexis: All right. They're going over the damage with the insurance companies right now, and as soon as they figure that out, they'll be ready for private donations. Do you have your checkbook ready?
Nikolas: Yes, Edward Quartermaine has already contacted me. As soon as they get an estimate on the reconstruction, I'll send a donation.
Alexis: Waiting for someone?
Nikolas: I'm sorry. I'm a little distracted right now.
Alexis: Anyone I know?
Nikolas: No, but I'm sure you'll recognize her as soon as you see her.
Claudia: Kate, what are you doing here? This is my home now. That makes you an intruder.
Kate: Well, I'm not an intruder if I've been told I can come by here any time I want.
Claudia: That was then. Now you are making a fool of yourself. And it's actually called breaking and entering.
Kate: Oh, goodie. Let's compare crimes, shall we? Me walking through an unlocked door and your facilitating of Michael’s shooting. Hmm, let's see. Yours comes with a life sentence, so I win.
Claudia: And you can prove this, how?
Kate: It doesn't matter. You're living on borrowed time. Eventually, you will be exposed for the --
Sonny: Okay, anybody want to tell me what this is about?
Jax: How do you feel?
Carly: Like I never want to leave your arms.
Jax: Mm-hmm. You don't ever have to.
Carly: You know what I love?
Carly: I love that you get me.
Jax: Mind if I get you again?
Max: Mrs. C. -- Mrs. J., I --
Jax: Max, close the door.
Carly: Max, I'm guessing this isn't the room you want to be in.
Max: No, no, I thought Diane was in here. She's not in here, is she?
Jax: No. No, it's just us.
Max: Damn. Which means she's avoiding me. Is it such a crime to worry about her cardiovascular health?
Carly: This isn't her room.
Max: Which means Diane lied. I kept a pass card key when I worked security. I hope you don't mind.
Jax: No, no, not in the slightest.
Carly: We're in the middle of something, Max.
Max: So she said I was supposed to me her there -- here, and she gave me her room number, and she had no intention of meeting me.
Jax: I'm sure that's very disappointing, Max, but as Carly said --
Max: And all because I tried to encourage Diane to embrace her healthy-heart lifestyle. Mrs. C, can you help me please? Mrs. J.
Maxie: V-fusion is full of nutrients, and you can obviously use all the help you can get.
Spinelli: You know, the Jackal is feeling much better and would be honored to escort fair Maximista wherever she needs to go.
Maxie: Spinelli, you can barely stand, much less escort me and that dress to the Campbell’s gala.
Lulu: "Crimson" had a dress designed for the red dress fashion show, and it didn't get worn, so the Campbell’s gala is our last best chance to get publicity for the dress in February.
Maxie: February is women's heart health awareness month, and I couldn't find a celebrity at the last minute, who wasn't already committed to wearing another designer, to wear that dress, so we figured I would be the next logical solution. I mean, I was the recipient of a heart transplant.
Lulu: We heard the sermon the first time, Maxie.
Maxie: Well, now I just need an escort.
Lulu: Why not Federico?
Maxie: Federico would be perfect. And he's great at last-minute alterations.
Spinelli: Perhaps the Jackal just needs a lozenge and that would just --
Johnny: I hate to break it to you, buddy, but you sound like crap.
Maxie: Feddie. Hey, it's Maxie. Oh, I'm doing fine. Yeah, that whole thing was horrible, but onward and upward, right? Which is why I'm calling you. I'm actually going to the Campbell’s gala, and I would love for you to be my date. I know how you like red carpet events. Really? Why? Feddie, I liked your nose the way it was before. That, too?
Lulu: Oh, my God.
Maxie: I'm sure you'll look beautiful once the bruising goes down. They're saying thirty is the new twenty. Really? Federico says he has a men's tux from his new line that my escort can wear. That's great. You're amazing. The samples are 41 regular.
Lucky: I got your message. Everything okay?
Sam: Yeah, thank you for agreeing to meet me here.
Lucky: It's fine. I'm sorry, but I just got hung over at Mercy Hospital, just checking on Elizabeth.
Sam: Is she doing okay?
Lucky: She's great. You know, she's looking much better, which is such a nice relief.
Sam: Good. I'm happy for her. I'm happy for you, too.
Lucky: Sam, I've --
Sam: Lucky, you are a great guy, and you deserve to be happy, but I've realized that it's over. And I think you have, too.
Jason: I'm guessing your superiors don't know you're here.
Winnifred: Uh, yeah. Agent Rayner wants to handle you himself, and I'm in charge of Spinelli.
Jason: What does that mean, "in charge of?"
Winnifred: Well, I'm supposed to keep him under surveillance.
Jason: And why is that?
Winnifred: I am not at liberty to reveal classified FBI information on current activities. Okay, fine. Agent Rayner is afraid that Anthony Zacchara has escaped, and he said that unless he is found and brought into custody, that the Jackal is going to be re-arrested.
Jason: I'm looking for Zacchara right now, and I'm going to find him.
Winnifred: Well, not to cast aspersions on Stone Cold's legendary prowess, but might it be prudent to maybe formulate a plan b to save Spinelli? To wit, obtaining evidence against Michael "Sonny" Corinthos.
Claudia: All I know is I went upstairs, and when I came back down, Kate had let herself in --
Kate: Sonny --
Claudia: And if that's okay --
Kate: Did you or did you not say that I was always welcome in your home?
Sonny: You made it clear you don't want anything to do with me.
Kate: Right after you made it clear that you're staying with Claudia.
Sonny: I was honest with you. It doesn't help the situation to come here.
Kate: You have no idea who you're married to.
Alexis: Hmm, a woman who looks just like Emily. That's kind of a shock to you, huh?
Nikolas: How do you continue to remain so unflappable? If I were to say to you right now -- hey, guess what, Alexis? I met a real pretty alien today. You would calmly inquire, "From what planet?"
Alexis: Okay, so you met a woman who looks like Emily, and she's from Mars?
Nikolas: Yes, exactly. No, her name is Rebecca Shaw.
Alexis: That's a nice name.
Nikolas: Thank you. Can we be serious now? Thank you. So at first I thought I was imagining her, but then everyone else started to see her, too, and had the same reaction I did. Well, not exactly the same reaction, but you know what I mean.
Alexis: I think I do.
Nikolas: She's staying at this hotel. Aside from that, I know very little about her.
Alexis: How little?
Nikolas: Almost nothing. I don't know where she's from, who her family is. I don't even know if it's possible she's related to Emily.
Alexis: Well, did you ask?
Nikolas: Of course I asked her, and she insists she has no idea who Emily is. I just find it unlikely that she looks so much like Emily, yet there's no connection somehow.
Alexis: Well, what's your best guess?
Nikolas: I don't know. She didn't know her dad because he died when she was two or three. And I don't think that her mother would have kept a sibling from her, especially knowing that she was dying and that would have left Emily alone, which brings me back to zero. I must be missing some connection here. I have to be.
Alexis: Please don't take this the wrong way, but even if there were some sort of connection, what difference would it make?
Sonny: I made it clear to Claudia that after we got married that she wasn't allowed to disrespect you. It goes both ways. I don't think it's a good idea for you to disrespect her.
Kate: You're defending her against me?
Sonny: Okay, this is a bad idea. You know what I mean?
Kate: What you have gotten yourself into -- I don't even know how to feel sorry for you anymore.
Claudia: Last thing I ever expected was to hear you defend me to Kate.
Sonny: What the hell? You need to tell me what is going on.
Claudia: What do you think is going on? Sonny, you were going to marry Kate, and you married me instead. She wants to know how close we are. She wants to know if I've replaced her.
Lucky: I'm just so grateful -- grateful that we found each other. I mean, after everything that we've been through, you helped me trust again.
Sam: No, Lucky. We helped each other, but I just realized that I have to live my life truthfully. It's the only way it works, if I'm honest about what it is that I want and how I feel.
Lucky: So tell me, honestly, what do you want?
Sam: Honestly? I want to get my private investigator's license. I want to do something that I know I am good at. And I love it so much. And I feel like I'm a better person when I'm doing something I love.
Lucky: It's just weird to realize that caring about each other just isn't enough. But I don't want us to end up resenting each other for it.
Lucky: I want to be honest.
Lucky: I think you're right. It's time we let go. For both of us.
Winnifred: Michael "Sonny" Corinthos, aka Mr. Sir is in the higher echelon of FBI gets, and such a feather in the cap of Agent Rayner would go a long way to protecting the future of Spinelli.
Jason: My deal with Rayner is for Zacchara.
Winnifred: Yeah. Well, Zacchara is, in the jargon, he's MIA. So if Stone Cold could assist in the arrest and prosecution of Sonny Corinthos then -- well, Agent Rayner would undoubtedly allow the Jackal to remain free.
Jason: FBI Agent Leeds, I can't discuss this with you.
Winnifred: But this is about protecting the mostly-innocent life of somebody near and dear to you. Well, imagine if you can't deliver the evil doer Zacchara.
Jason: I will make sure that Spinelli stays out of prison.
Winnifred: Well, perhaps you could use my services to that end? I mean, I would be most helpful in your efforts to, you know, get information on Mr. Corinthos.
Jason: No, no, no, no. Just do what Agent Rayner told you to do, okay? I want you to monitor Spinelli, like he said, but you can do me a favor and makes sure he stays out of trouble, okay? I'll take care of everything else.
Winnifred: You are a true gentleman, Mr. Morgan, and regardless of what other people think, I know that you are a really –
Diane: We have much to discuss. Agent Leeds.
Diane: On what business is the federal government harassing my client once again?
Winnifred: I --
Jason: There's no harassment. Agent Leeds was just leaving.
Winnifred: That's true. However, I was trying to --
Jason: It's okay, come on. Come on, you can stop trying. Stop doing anything, just do your job. And everything is going to work out just fine.
Winnifred: Thank you.
Jason: Thank you.
Diane: Aw. Tell me you haven't been taken in that by that little mouse. Something tells me there's a nasty rat lurking under that meek exterior.
Jason: She's harmless.
Diane: Name me one agent of law enforcement that has ever had your best interest at heart. Waiting. Searching. No, can't name one.
Jason: Do I incriminate myself a lot?
Diane: You better hit me with all the details just in case. I could use some more billable hours. And a place to hide from Max.
Max: The thing is, is Diane’s in excellent shape. I mean, technically, she's hot. You know, but with so much stress, and, you know, I'm sure her blood pressure is going through the roof. I mean, I know what stress is. I work for Jason.
Jax: Well, isn't this a conversation you should be having with Diane, Max?
Max: Let's face it. Jason needs a lot of legal advice, and it makes Miss Miller very tense. And I'm always giving her shoulder rubs and foot massages, but the truth is I'm worried about her heart.
Carly: Well, that's so sweet. It's so thoughtful, but I don't really see the problem here.
Max: Miss Miller -- Diane’s a little upset because I suggested -- well, actually, I had Milo suggest that she make, you know, heart-healthy choices with her diet.
Carly: You told Diane to go on a diet?
Max: No, no, no. Of course not. I told you she's hot. I just -- I think she takes herself for granted sometimes. On New Year’s Eve, she ate caviar and pate, not that we all don't need to indulge or can't indulge once in a while --
Carly: Amen to that.
Max: But a woman like Diane needs to take better care of herself, you know? And it's not that hard these days. Milo had the chef at the Metro Court make her some penne with some Prego Heart Smart sauce.
Jax: Well, there's nothing too unobjectionable about that, is there?
Carly: I don't think Diane would agree with you.
Max: I started telling her about the benefits of broccoli and spinach and listing all the flavors of Campbell’s Healthy Request soups, and now she's hiding from me. And I only did it because I wanted to do something good for her because -- because I care. Okay, I said it.
Carly: Okay, all right. There is nothing a woman loves more than knowing her man adores her. But there is a right way and there's a wrong way, and I have to tell you critiquing a woman's intake of her food, no pun intended, is not the way to her heart.
Max: What should I do?
Carly: Tell him.
Carly: Tell him what he should do.
Jax: Trust Diane got the message. Tell her she's gorgeous. Back the hell off.
Max: Thanks. That's good. Thank you. You two go back to whatever it was you were doing before.
Carly: Thank you.
Jax: Oh, we will, Max. Thank you very much.
Max: Thanks, guys.
Carly: Oh, my God.
Jax: Am I going crazy, or was Max just sitting here having a conversation?
Carly: Yeah. Yeah, he was here.
Jax: He was, wasn't he? He was sitting right there.
Carly: Well, you know, he's really sweet. He just doesn't have, you know, boundaries. Nothing worse than a man hovering, no matter how crazy he is about you.
Jax: You're right about that.
Jax: I'm just curious. What can I do to relieve your stress, Mrs. J?
Lulu: No way.
Maxie: This is life or death, Lulu. I can't show up to that Campbell’s gala in that fabulous dress with no escort.
Lulu: Well, get your own escort.
Maxie: Do you even have an empathetic bone in your body?
Lulu: Do you even know what that means?
Maxie: Feddie is post-op, and Spinelli is clearly too weak to go anywhere. Johnny is perfect.
Lulu: Of course, Johnny is perfect, but you can't have him.
Maxie: Would you dial down your paranoia a little bit please? I don't want your boyfriend. I just want his body. Not like it sounds.
Lulu: Okay, if Johnny's taking anyone, it would be me.
Maxie: If you went, it would be a disaster.
Lulu: Could you even pretend to be nice?
Maxie: I'm being honest, which is, like way better than being nice. You hate parties. You hare fashion. The only thing you don't hate about this situation is Johnny, and that's just not good enough. Might I remind you it is heart health awareness?
Lulu: And you had a heart transplant. We all know, but you are not taking my boyfriend.
Johnny: Okay, not that anyone even asked my opinion, but I'm not going anywhere.
Maxie: Yes, you are.
Spinelli: Actually, the Jackal is feeling much better, and I am sure that --
Maxie: The Campbell’s gala is our only hope to get that dress out there before the Oscars.
Spinelli: I fail to see the correlation between wearing the dress and press coverage.
Maxie: Hello, the Oscars are Sunday night, and once the red carpet media gets out, that's going to blow everything else out of the water. The Campbell’s gala is our last chance. Johnny, you have to go.
Johnny: Find someone else. I'm not wearing this Feddie's tux or whoever he is.
Spinelli: I wholeheartedly agree. The mob prince should not have to do something that he does not want to do.
Lulu: You have to go.
Maxie: Wa-wait a minute. Were you just being rational?
Lulu: The dress has to be at the gala. It's important. We're running out of time.
Johnny: Find someone else.
Maxie: A perfect 41-regular and zero time, it's not going to happen. It has to be you, and if you don't go, you're going to be undermining women's cardiovascular health and the health of American women everywhere.
Johnny: Fine, I'll go, but both of you owe me big time.
Lulu: Okay, I'll go get changed.
Maxie: Whoa! I thought you understood that that meant Johnny would be escorting me to the Campbell’s gala.
Lulu: I understand that means Johnny's escorting the red dress. I never said you had to be in it.
Maxie: Lulu, you don't have the first clue how to rock a dress like that.
Lulu: Well, I know I'm not letting you take my boyfriend to the gala.
Maxie: We are wasting time that we don't have. The only fair way to figure this out is to have Spinelli decide. Spinelli, who will Johnny be taking to the Campbell’s gala?
Nikolas: If Rebecca has a connection to Emily, I want to know what it is.
Alexis: I get that. It's just what if she doesn't, then what are you going to do?
Nikolas: Nothing. I just want to know why fate has put her in front of me. That's all.
Alexis: Or maybe you're hoping that she's like Emily in more than just her looks.
Nikolas: I don't know what I'm hoping, okay?
Alexis: Just wondering if you're -- what with Emily gone, that you want Rebecca to be the next best thing.
Nikolas: No. No, there is no "next best thing." No one can take her place. I love Emily, and I always will. No one could even come close to what she meant to me.
Diane: I suppose it wouldn't hurt to be a little more conscientious, although, God knows, I've never had a problem with my heart. I'm healthy as a horse. But the statistics on women's heart health are shocking, as I tried to impress upon Alexis last February. Although still, I mean, you know, it wouldn't hurt to get an extra -- you know, an extra check-up. Maybe an EKG or a treadmill test. Ahem. And that Prego Heart Smart was really delicious. Much better than Max's pasta sauce. Don't ever tell him I said that.
Jason: Uh, I won't.
Diane: You think I was too hard on Max, don't you?
Jason: Diane, I couldn't say really.
Diane: Actually you could say, but you won't. That's a wonderful quality in you, as a client, Jason, your pathological discretion. Although, God knows, it's infuriating when someone actually wants your opinion.
Jason: Okay, so now would be a good time to discuss my legal situation.
Jason: I agreed to give the FBI -- oh, God -- evidence against Anthony Zacchara for Spinelli's release.
Diane: Well, I'm not surprised, given the magnitude of Spinelli's crimes.
Jason: Okay, see, the problem is Zacchara disappeared in the hospital fire, okay? And I can't find him. I'm looking for him, but what I need you to tell me right now is if I cannot find Anthony Zacchara, from a legal standpoint, what happens to Spinelli?
Diane: Okay, I'm a great lawyer. We all know that. I can put up a hell of a fight. But in this case, Spinelli is guilty as sin. And he's also guileless, which means that he will spill his guts, unlike you, to the first suit who asks. So if I were you, I would step up your efforts to find Anthony Zacchara. Or feed the feds someone else.
Sonny: You're still coughing, so you still must be a little, you know --
Claudia: Yeah, it's a little bit like getting over a cold.
Sonny: Here, take some water. You'll feel better with water.
Claudia: I feel pretty good actually, physically, considering. Mentally, however, I'm still adjusting to that whole change of heart you had about wanting to stay married to me.
Sonny: What did you expect? I mean, after you told me about your father, you know, shot Kate and he could walk. You must have obviously known you were going to get on my good side.
Claudia: I never trusted my father, never. He never gave me a reason to. But you and me, our interests are -- they run parallel. You know?
Claudia: So I decided to give it a shot and trust you. And maybe somewhere deep down, I don't know, maybe I didn't want to see you die.
Sonny: Does that mean that you're ready to take the next step?
Claudia: Well, I mean, there's no turning back now.
Sonny: Good. Help me find your father.
Claudia: I told you he doesn't -- I mean, he never trusted me. He certainly didn't give me any information or --
Sonny: No, but does he have like a safe house or like a favorite place to hide? You know what I mean?
Claudia: Trevor would be really useful right now for that type of thing.
Sonny: It's best that Trevor -- it's best that he's not around, but can you do me a favor? Just let me know if anything comes up.
Claudia: I can make calls. I mean, I can look through old records, if you want. I want to help you, you know?
Sonny: Yeah, I know you do.
Sonny: Um, I never really -- I never really felt that you were happy here, you know? That -- you know, I've always sensed that you were uncomfortable or not as relaxed as you should -- maybe I misjudged you.
Nikolas: I know. I probably pushed Rebecca too hard. But if I could just get her to sit down with me for a minute so I can explain to her who Emily was, what she meant to me, and to everyone else, then maybe she would be open to the potential of a connection, no matter how distant.
Alexis: I can see this means a lot to you. I really hope it works out for you.
Nikolas: But you wouldn't bet on it, right?
Alexis: What I will bet on is how much I love you. And I always want you to be happy.
Nikolas: Thank you. Bye. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you standing there.
Nadine: Oh, well, you were involved in a conversation with your aunt, so --
Nikolas: Yes, my aunt is very fond of dispensing advice. I suppose it's rude not to listen to her.
Nadine: When we first met, you were chasing a ghost. Nothing much has changed, has it?
Jason: Bernie, please, I'm asking you to do whatever it takes, call in any favors that we have left. I need to find Anthony Zacchara.
Spinelli: The Jackal has been cast from the summit of bliss to the depths of despair.
Jason: Okay, what are you doing? You're supposed to be resting. See, you're still coughing from all that smoke.
Spinelli: Yeah, further evidence of the Jackal's wimposity. Stone Cold will not believe what has occurred.
Jason: What happened?
Spinelli: Maximista was required to wear a certain dress to a certain Campbell’s gala to benefit women's heart health -- a fine and noble cause.
Jason: Okay, look, I'm trying to find Anthony --
Spinelli: So she had to bring an escort. And the increasingly heroic Johnny Zacchara was selected. At which point, fair Lulu decided that she should go to said gala in lieu of fair Maximista. And it fell upon the Jackal to make the final decision. Unwilling to disappoint my heart's desire, but also equally reluctant to stir the original blonde one's ire by lending out her boyfriend, as it were, I left it to random chance. A coin flip.
Jason: So, Maxie's going and Lulu is upset?
Spinelli: No, no, no, no. Fair Maximista and her new hero, Johnny, a perfect 41-regular, will grace the red carpet together. And I fear -- no, no. I will not stand idly by as the mob prince lures away my one true love.
Jason: Okay, what are you doing?
Spinelli: I'm going to hack into the systems at the venue where the Campbell’s gala is being held, activate the sprinkler system. The event will be cancelled. All this will be averted.
Jason: You're going to hack into what?
Claudia: Hi, did you get my message?
Max: A bottle of red, salad, tomatoes, fruit. I found the Swanson’s chicken, and the rest is for the boss.
Claudia: Oh, well, thank you. And is there --
Max: Did you know that a glass or two of red wine a day also is good for the heart?
Claudia: Look at you, Mr. Green, with the recycled shopping bag and your health-conscious shopping list. Oh, yummy.
Max: The V8 is for Mr. C.
Claudia: Okay, fine, he can have some of it while he's waiting for the fabulous dinner I'm about to make him.
Max: Hmm, looks fancy. What's the occasion?
Claudia: We're celebrating.
Kate: What do you have to celebrate?
Maxie: Are you done yet?
Maxie: Well, we need to get there while the media and the press is still in full force. I hope this works.
Lulu: Why wouldn't the photographers go crazy for an assistant wearing a designer dress that was supposed to be worn last week at a different party by an A-list celebrity?
Maxie: After everything I've done for you, all the sacrifices I've made, this is how you thank me?
Lulu: Sacrifices? Name one.
Maxie: Lulu, if I were half as shallow or self-centered as you think I am, you might have a reason to complain. Lucky for you, I'm not.
Lulu: Okay, if the press asks who you are and why you're attending, just explain to them that this was "Crimson's" plan all along for you to wear the dress.
Maxie: Okay, you know, it would help if you really actually supported me.
Lulu: What do you think I'm doing? I'm going along with this for women's hearts everywhere, and B.J.'s heart in particular, which , by the way, has to last you into your old age. So you might want to relax. We need to go.
Nikolas: I'm sorry. I should've talked to you about Rebecca.
Nadine: Well, we were kind of in the middle of a burning building. There was not much time to talk. And, of course, you want to know more about Rebecca. You wouldn't be human if you didn't.
Nikolas: I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or anything.
Nadine: The truth is always best. I wouldn't want you to stop following your heart on my account.
Nikolas: I don't deserve how good you are to me, you know that?
Nadine: You're easy to be good to. I got to get to Mercy. They want me to pick up some extra shifts, so, okay.
Nikolas: Rebecca, I need to talk to you. It's important.
Jax: Now that I've got you back, I'm going to take excellent care of you.
Carly: You just did.
Jax: There's plenty more where that came from, too. We're going to get plenty of exercise. You know, cut out some of the cheesy snacks and potato chips.
Carly: You can stop right there. You're not cutting out my cheesy snacks, and you're not taking away my pizza.
Jax: Okay, fine, we'll have a little bit of both, you know? A little junk food, a little organic.
Carly: You know, all this talk about food is making me hungry. So I say we order some fun, junk-foody snacks, and a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate our reunion.
Jax: Already on its way.
[Knock at door]
Morgan's voice: Room service.
Carly: [Whispering] that's Morgan.
Jax: [Whispering] yeah, but pretend like you don't know.
Carly: Okay. [Normal voice] We'll be right there, sir.
Morgan: It's just me.
Carly: Oh, my gosh, you so tricked me. Where's Mercedes?
Morgan: She brought me up in the elevator and told me I could surprise you.
Carly: Oh, she did, huh? Get in here and give me a hug. Oh. Well, you know what? We have a surprise for you, too.
Jax: Yes, we do. And I wanted you to be the first to know, Morgan. I'm coming home.
Spinelli: I suppose, given my disfavor with the FBI, saturating a high-profile event might not be the most prudent choice. However, the more I think about fair Maximista and the well-heeled mob prince making their social debut, the more I think something untoward might occur.
[Knock at door]
Spinelli: She has changed her mind and come back to me.
Spinelli: Mr. Sir.
Spinelli: Gracious greetings. You know, you've arrived at a most inopportune moment as I was begging Stone Cold for his guidance and wisdom on a matter most near and dear to my heart.
Sonny: Do you have any idea what Jason put on the line to keep you out of prison?
Spinelli: I am most aware.
Sonny: Okay, don't make it any worse than it already is. Know when to leave a room, and that would be now. Right.
Sonny: Um, I'm glad you got out of the fire. It was touch and go for a while.
Jason: Yeah, my bigger problem right now is finding Anthony --
Sonny: I know it is, I know it is. Maybe we should work together.
Rebecca: I believe I look a lot like Emily. I've been told it by more people than I can count. But you're the only one that insists on following me around.
Nikolas: I humbly ask that you hear me out.
Rebecca: I heard you the first twenty times. You loved Emily. She was your wife. She died. It's very sad. Like I told you, I have nothing to do with any of that, and I have a lot on my plate right now.
Nikolas: And I completely respect that. Just --
Rebecca: The hospital where I was going to work burned down. I have to find a job.
Nikolas: All right, well, I can help you with that. I'm on the board of directors at General Hospital. All I'm asking is that you give me an hour of your time. One hour, so you can see what I have to show you and hear what I have to say.
Kate: Granted, I'm sure that Sonny is mildly grateful to you for telling him about your psycho daddy. It is fairly obvious how late in the game you chose to pick the winning side.
Claudia: Hey, come on. You wrote the book on obvious.
Claudia: Trying to get me to take the blame for Michael's shooting. Sonny actually knows already that it was you who took Michael to the warehouse. And the more I think about it, the more I think -- I think you're projecting your feelings of guilt onto me.
Claudia: When all the evidence points to Ian Devlin as a lone gunman.
Kate: But you see, I don't need evidence. All I need to do is plant a tiny seed of doubt in Sonny's mind. Just enough so that every time he looks at you, he always wonders.
Claudia: That's a desperate lie told by a jealous woman. Well, you do have a lot to be jealous of.
Kate: Oh, Claudia, you are going to pay in ways that you've never even imagined.
Jason: Sonny, I'll take any information you have that can help me find Anthony.
Sonny: Well, I'm not big on giving information to the feds. Look, it's just not the way I'm built. But I know this is a special circumstance. I'll make an exception.
Jason: Okay, are Zacchara's people going to talk?
Sonny: He's a mad dog, and his people are more loyal to Trevor than they were to him. He hurt a lot of people that I care about. I want him whacked. But if he has to go to prison, so be it. What I don't want is Zacchara to get away.
Jason: I've been calling in favors left and right. I got nothing else to do.
Sonny: Okay, then we're going to have to make concessions to some of the other organizations. It's going to cost us. Now you don't have a problem with me getting involved, and I don't want you to think that I'm trying to muscle into your territory.
Lulu: It looks like you got what you wanted. There's a sea of paparazzi outside.
Maxie: How does my hair look and my makeup? Do I have too much blush on? I don't know why I'm asking you.
Johnny: Maybe I should stay in here after all.
Maxie: No, you'll be fine. Just smile and look gorgeous and don't block my dress. Wish us luck.
Johnny: It's all for a good cause, right?
Maxie: Cameras are waiting. Excuse me.
[Cell phone rings]
Lulu: Hi, Spinelli.
Spinelli: The Jackal is wondering if maybe a flight delay or some other welcome deterrent changed the plans?
Lulu: Nope, all systems are go. Maxie and Johnny just went inside.
Spinelli: So all has gone smoothly then.
Lulu: Yeah, the paparazzi must have really liked the dress, or they thought Maxie and Johnny were important. They kinda went crazy.
Spinelli: Maximista was her usual glorious self?
Lulu: They looked great. In fact, they looked great together.
Spinelli: Well, that's good. Isn't it?
