Agent Rayner: Surviving the fire was the easy part. This isn't over.
Maxie: Spinelli? Spinelli? Hi. Do you know where you are?
Jax: You are the only woman I know who can survive a disaster and then start the next morning looking absolutely beautiful.
Carly: Wow. You don't look so bad yourself, for someone who walked away from a helicopter crash.
Jax: Yeah, well -- were you able to get a little rest last night?
Carly: I wish you'd been lying next to me.
Milo: I found this DVD in the gatehouse. It slid down between the desk and the wall. Is it yours?
Max: Does it have my name on it? Why are you wasting time cleaning up, all right? We've got more important things to worry about.
Milo: It could be -- we should look at it.
Claudia: That's mine.
Jax: I thought about going to see you last night, but after I gave the police my statement, it was late, and I didn't want to wake you.
Carly: Oh. Well, that's thoughtful. You -- I mean, I get it.
Carly: Yeah, you -- after everything that happened, you probably just wanted to go sleep in your own bed.
Jax: Well, actually, I --
Carly: I mean, you know, our emotions were so crazy last night, and you know, we didn't even know if we were going to survive.
Jax: Well, that wasn't my biggest fear.
Carly: And some people seem to think that situations like that would make everything clear, but I think it's just the opposite, you know, and your feelings are so intense, and then those feelings kind of fade. You're only left with real life, and real life is kind of tedious and boring, I guess.
Jax: Oh, that was never really our problem.
Carly: No, our problem is that I drive you crazy.
Jax: Carly, my biggest fear is never seeing you again.
Carly: Yeah, and I can understand why you wouldn't want to get swept up in those feelings, and you know, the emotions of the moment. And now that we're here in the clear light of day and we're fine, I guess --
Jax: Carly, I want to spend every morning waking up to you, okay? I want to see that smile that makes my heart pound. I want to live with you again. I want to be swept up.
Carly: You do?
Jax: Yeah. My only question is --
Edward: Good, you're both here.
Jax: Edward, this is really not a good time.
Carly: No, we're really busy right now.
Edward: Your romantic claptrap will have to wait, because this is the future of General Hospital.
Agent Rayner: The last reports we had were that Trevor Lansing stole the missing poison capsule.
Sam: Well, you don't have to worry about that. That capsule's been destroyed.
Agent Rayner: Are you sure of that?
Sam: I watched it happen. I managed to get the capsule out of Trevor's hand before he fell off of the building, and Jason and I -- we went into a burning corridor and threw it into the fire.
Agent Rayner: You saw it burn?
Sam: Yeah, the whole 10th floor was on fire. I -- yeah.
Agent Rayner: What about Anthony Zacchara? Did he burn, too?
Sam: Are you kidding me? This hospital is a burned-out shell. There are who knows how many dead and injured, because you people lost track of a deadly-weapons-grade biotoxin, and all you're worried about is Anthony Zacchara?
Agent Rayner: Just answer the question.
Sam: I think you have more pressing problems to focus on.
Agent Rayner: Zacchara is a major crime boss, responsible for significantly more murder and mayhem than occurred here last night. Now, given the company you keep, I would think you would think you would already know that.
Sam: Wait a minute. What is that supposed to mean? The company that I keep?
Agent Rayner: Jason Morgan, Damian Spinelli?
Sam: The three of us were the last people out of this hospital. It doesn't mean that I know anything about what's going on.
Agent Rayner: And Spinelli has hacked into enough government computers to put him in prison until he's old and gray. Now, when was the last time you saw Anthony Zacchara?
Sam: Well, jeez, I don't know. It was early on in the evening, and it was before the building started exploding. But do you know that Anthony Zacchara can walk, that he's been faking being paralyzed this whole time?
Winnifred: Is it possible that Mr. Morgan tried to apprehend the twisted, evil one?
Sam: Well, uh --
Winnifred: Mr. Zacchara?
Sam: I don't know. I mean, at one point I know that Jason had Anthony in restraints, but somebody turned him loose. I can only assume that it was Trevor Lansing, but I can't be sure.
Agent Rayner: No one can be sure, since Trevor Lansing took a swan dive off the top of the building.
Sam: There's a chance that Anthony never escaped that building and his body will be found inside.
Agent Rayner: Well, Anthony Zacchara had better turn up alive, or your friend Damian Spinelli is going to prison for a long, long time.
Maxie: Spinelli, you're not dreaming, and you're certainly not dead. Is this your idea of heaven?
Maxie: The regrettably pink room? You went through a terrible ordeal, and I'm going to make sure that you start taking care of yourself. That means no more barbecue chips and no more orange soda.
Spinelli: Wait, those are the two foundations of the Jackal's nutritional regimen.
Maxie: Yeah, that's part of your problem.
Spinelli: No, no, no, no. Those two essentials have all the major food groups. Several. Maybe one. What is this elixir?
Maxie: V-fusion. It's actually filled with good stuff -- you know, juice, vitamins, minerals.
Spinelli: Low in sodium, part of a heart-healthy breakfast.
Maxie: Exactly. You're going to start eating better and feeling better. You're going to get stamina and muscles in places you didn't know you had. Spinelli, I don't want to upset you while you're eating breakfast, but we need to have a serious discussion about where this relationship is headed. Take it easy.
Spinelli: Must have been residual effect of the smoke inhalation, or perhaps the Jackal was caught a bit off guard by Maximista's words vis-à-vis our relationship.
Maxie: Well, it has to be said. We can't keep going on like this.
Johnny: Hey, I made some coffee.
Lulu: Maxie told me about how you saved Robin and Emma.
Johnny: Yeah, it was more Maxie than me. You should have seen her slogging through that snow in those ridiculous shoes of hers.
Lulu: Well, she made it very clear that she wouldn't have been able to find them, much less save them, without you, and then you definitely topped it off by rescuing her in the fire, too.
Johnny: Yeah, well, that still doesn't excuse what a bastard I was to you, blowing up at you, blaming you, when the person I was mad at was really myself.
Lulu: It's okay. I know you didn't mean it. It's -- I forgive you.
Johnny: Maybe you shouldn't.
Claudia: I am so glad you found that. I had no idea where I'd left it.
Milo: You were watching DVD's out at the gatehouse?
Claudia: No, of course not. I must have left it, and one of the guards was going to bring it and must have forgot, or something.
Milo: I'll ask around.
Claudia: No, it's okay. Because no harm done. There is another one of these DVD's though, you guys, with the same pattern on the label. I'd really appreciate it if you just kept your eyes out for it for me, though.
Max: Yeah, sure.
Milo: What's on the DVD's?
Claudia: Have you ever done anything impulsive, Milo? Something that was meant to be private?
Milo: Well --
Max: [Laughing] Mr. Adonis, 2006.
Milo: Those pictures were artistic, okay? A glorious celebration of the male art form. At least that's what the photographer said.
Max: Right, right. What was the name of that website they turned up on? Oh, right -- "hot prime beef."
Miles: We got to go, Mrs. C, but we'll keep a lookout for the DVD, okay?
Agent Rayner: I want Anthony Zacchara.
Sam: Okay, I am all for that. The guy is a twisted psycho, but to sacrifice Spinelli in the process -- you can't do that.
Agent Rayner: Can't?
Sam: No, he is sweet and kind, and he would serve absolutely no purpose for --
Agent Rayner: Your point?
Winnifred: The Jackal is a hero who saved many lives in last night's catastrophe, and he should be offered amnesty for his past crimes -- Sir.
Agent Rayner: Unless you can furnish me with proof that Jason Morgan coerced Mr. Spinelli into hacking into all of those government computers --
Sam: No, absolutely not.
Agent Rayner: Then Mr. Spinelli made an informed choice. He knew what he was doing.
Sam: And you threatening to prosecute him to get leverage on Jason is just plain wrong.
Agent Rayner: You need to change your attitude. All of this righteous indignation about Spinelli is a waste of time. Focus your efforts on finding a way to bring Zacchara in, or the FBI will have to go after another high-profile get, possibly someone a little closer to you.
Alexis: Is this an official interrogation, or may I join you?
Agent Rayner: We were just having a friendly conversation.
Alexis: Then that's a conversation you need to be having with me and not my daughter, since I'm her attorney, so if you speak to her again without a subpoena, I'm afraid I'm going to have to land on you so hard they'll need a cavity search to find that badge of yours. Now, that's a friendly conversation. Let's go.
Winnifred: You were employing psychological interrogation techniques, right? You wouldn't imprison the Jackal, or Mr. Spinelli, if they failed to produce Anthony Zacchara?
Agent Rayner: You seem very concerned about Spinelli, so I'll make him your problem. Keep an eye on him, because if we can't find Zacchara, we're going to have to bring him back into custody.
Spinelli: Perhaps Maximista could be more specific as to why her relationship with the Jackal should altar?
Maxie: Well, you're not Jason.
Spinelli: Of that, I am painfully aware.
Maxie: No, Spinelli, the man of action thing, that's just not you.
Spinelli: But I've dedicated myself to improving my physical prowess, and with the aid of V-fusion and Maximista's heart-healthy regimen, I'm sure there'll be results -- noticeable results -- very soon.
Maxie: I don’t want you to be like Jason. I don't want you to look like Jason. I mean, he does have a great body and really nice eyes, but that's not the point.
Spinelli: So what is the point?
Maxie: You're not allowed to risk your life anymore. I almost died of fright, like, 3,300 times last night, because well, it was bad enough knowing you were trapped in that hospital with poisons floating through the air ducts, and then I saw all those horrible explosions.
Spinelli: I know. I was close to many of those conflagrations.
Maxie: Yeah, you had no business going into that hospital, and as soon as you realized you were trapped in there, you should have been on the first helicopter out.
Spinelli: The Jackal could not have been so selfish.
Maxie: Fine, then don't be selfish for you. Be selfish for me, because I can't lose you. I need you, Spinelli. You have to take care of yourself, so I'm going to make sure that I stick by your side, okay? So you can build up your strength and get better.
Maxie: Oh, my God. This is a disaster.
Johnny: Is it good?
Lulu: Oh, it's better than sex. I mean, the coffee -- it's my favorite coffee.
Johnny: I'll try not to take offense to that.
Lulu: When we first met, I made it very clear that I do what feels right, not what people tell me to, so I'm going to forgive you, and you're just going to have to deal with it.
Johnny: You're not making this very easy, Lulu.
Lulu: What are you trying to do?
Johnny: I'm trying to believe that you and I have a future, but at the same time, my past won't let me go.
Lulu: Where did you get this idea that you have to be perfect for me or that, like, I can only accept you if you're free from your past? Nobody can do that. I can't even do that.
Johnny: Lulu, it's not even close to the same thing.
Lulu: You know what? My family has tons of baggage too, and really, it's not a bad thing. I don't want us to be boring and predictable. That's not what I signed up for.
Johnny: Hey, you have no idea what --
Lulu: I don't care what happened in your past. Stop testing me, assuming that I'm going to find something out about you that's a deal-breaker. Can we just -- can we just live in the present and love each other?
Lulu: Oh, no, no, no, this is a disaster. Oh, my God.
Jerry: To the ever-resourceful Claudia, congratulations. If you're watching this, you've lived to see another day. You know that you've kept your dirty little secret from coming to light. You know that you tried to kill Sonny and that your hired hit man, Ian Devlin, actually managed to miss the intended target and wound up shooting Sonny's little boy, Michael, putting him into a coma. I apologize, you know, for bringing that painful episode to light, but that's part of the game -- you know, the exquisite tension, knowing that one of those DVD's could fall into Sonny's hands. How many did I make again? Five, fifty? I can't remember. But that's part of the fun, too. You know, the fact that you don't know. But let's get back to the game. You'll find the next DVD in a room close to Sonny's heart -- well, that's assuming that Sonny has a heart, of course.
Claudia: Crazy son of a bitch. Why don't you just leave me alone?
Olivia: Hey, I've got the outfit that you asked for.
Kate: Wonderful. You can go. I can change by myself. I'm a big girl.
Olivia: Okay, con, I'm not your assistant. I'm not your hired help. I'm your family. I'm happy to do for you --
Kate: You know, after all of these years, I still don't understand your definition of family.
Olivia: And what is that supposed to mean?
Kate: Oh, I don't know. I begged you to get me that DVD, and what did you do? You threw it in a fire.
Olivia: Connie, I did that for your own good.
Kate: You have no idea, and I will be the judge of my own good, thank you very much.
Olivia: I know you, okay? I know you when you get like this. You are so pissed right now that you can't even see straight. You don't care what you do. You don't care what you say.
Kate: No, no, no. Actually, I'm seeing clearly for the first time in over a year. Sonny deserves to be married to Claudia, and they both deserve to be as miserable as I can make them.
Sam: What a nightmare.
Alexis: I'm very grateful that you're all right.
Sam: Yeah -- I mean, things didn't get really crazy until the end, but you know, I was so busy worrying about Spinelli and everybody else that I really didn't have a chance to worry about myself.
Alexis: I want you to know that I would have been there when you finally made it out of the building, because I was in the command trailer the whole time, but I was pulled away at the last second.
Sam: Wow. Well, I'm okay, really.
Alexis: Spinelli is very lucky to have you in his corner.
Sam: Yeah, look, Spinelli, he's in a lot of trouble.
Alexis: I know that he is, and I really would hate to see you dragged into this legal mess, because it's a federal case.
Sam: Are you kidding? Spinelli is not a threat to national security. He isn't a threat to anybody. We just have to figure out a way to get him out from underneath the FBI.
Sam: We -- I mean, there's a few of us friends that are working on this.
Alexis: I just want you to be careful.
Sam: I will, I will. Thank you for your concern.
Alexis: You know what? I'm your mother. Of course I would be concerned about you. I just wish --
Sam: Yeah? What?
Alexis: Federal judges are appointed. They're not elected. They can be very brutal. If you get convicted in a federal case, you will serve the entire sentence. There'll be no parole.
Sam: Okay, I'll keep that in mind.
Max: Diane will be here any minute. Are you sure you know what to say?
Milo: You should say it. She's your girlfriend.
Max: You promised.
Milo: Yeah, that's before you shot off your mouth to Claudia about the Mr. Adonis calendar.
Max: Look, the photographer was a jerk. You look great in those pictures, not like some cartoon, all 'roided out.
Milo: You know I won't touch that stuff.
Max: You are tight as a drum. People would kill to have this body.
Milo: And I'm all natural.
Max: You know this nutrition stuff inside and out. You live it. That's why it's going to mean more coming from you. Look, I'm just trying to do something good for somebody I care about. Help your big brother out.
Milo: You owe me.
Max: Absolutely. Okay, now, check this out. I'm going to sit down. You just happen by the table --
Max: Oh, hey.
Max: Well, aren't you the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on?
Diane: Stop. Don't stop. Maybe we should just skip the meal and get a hotel room.
Max: Uh, no. I mean, not that I wouldn't love to. I just don't want you to think that's what this was all about.
Diane: Are you all right? You seem a little nervous.
Max: You have that effect on me.
Diane: You were in complete control last time I saw you. You ripped my dress in three strategic locations.
Diane: Are you kidding? I loved it. I can't wait for Kate to be up and around again so I can hit her up for some designer samples, let you have your way with me.
Max: Yeah, that's nice.
Milo: Max? Ms. Miller. What a coincidence, running into you here. In a restaurant, with all the food they have.
Diane: Yes, well, that is typically what one finds in an eating establishment.
Milo: Oh, speaking of eating -- Ms. Miller, have you ever considered the benefits of a heart-healthy diet?
Maxie: Tell me Clarice made a mistake.
Lulu: Are you absolutely sure?
Maxie: Lulu, I need to know this is not the Armageddon that it looks like.
Lulu: It is. It's true. I've triple-checked. Natalie's flight from Paris was delayed, so she didn't make it to the Campbell’s red dress fashion show.
Maxie: So the "Crimson" dress was not worn?
Maxie: This is a disaster. Has Kate called?
Lulu: I haven't heard from her.
Maxie: Maybe she suffered a relapse.
Maxie: You're right. We're never that lucky. Okay, Olivia picked her up from mercy this morning, so she's probably not 100%. Maybe she hasn't checked her emails today.
Lulu: She checks her emails on the toilet.
Maxie: She could be juiced up on painkillers, which would buy us more time.
Lulu: More time to do what? Like, leave the country?
Maxie: Please don't panic, and just think of solutions.
Lulu: Solutions, okay, okay. A custom-made red dress for a magazine whose name is a shade of red was not worn at the Campbell’s red dress fashion show, and we did an entire spread on the Campbell’s heart health awareness for February. Hmm, there's no way to hide this.
Maxie: Okay, we might not be able to hide it, but there could be some way for us to save it.
Claudia: Do you ever knock? Ever?
Johnny: It's a good thing I'm not Sonny.
Claudia: Why do you say that?
Johnny: Because you look guilty as hell. What are you doing?
Claudia: See for yourself.
Jerry: You'll find the next DVD in a room close to Sonny's heart, well, that's assuming that Sonny has a heart, of course.
Claudia: He's a pig.
Johnny: That's great, Claudia. Now you're back where you started. Who knows how many of these DVD's Jerry's got lying around this place, but eventually, someone's going to find one. It's going to be Sonny or someone who's going to go running to him, so I've got to get you out of here before that happens.
Claudia: You know what? If I had listened to you last night, I would have blown everything.
Johnny: What are you talking about?
Claudia: Sonny asked me to stay married to him. He wants me to be his wife.
Claudia: Sonny and I have reached an understanding.
Johnny: Which was what, exactly?
Claudia: We both want the same things out of this marriage. We want an alliance. We both want a partnership, somebody who understands the world that we inhabit.
Johnny: Sonny wants to keep an extra eye on you.
Johnny: He suspects something.
Johnny: Claudia, he's never trusted you.
Claudia: Things have changed, I'm telling you.
Johnny: For you. For you. You want Sonny to care for you.
Claudia: No. I just -- I don't -- you know, I don't want to live in fear, John.
Johnny: Claudia, eventually someone is going to come across one of Jerry's tell-all DVDs, and when that happens, it's going to be revealed that you and I are responsible for putting Sonny's kid in a coma. It's inevitable.
Claudia: Okay, if you think it's too much of a risk, then maybe you should leave. That's -- maybe that's -- I'll give you money. Maybe that's what we should do, it's better.
Johnny: I'm not going to bail on you when you could found out at any moment. Or Kate Howard could start running her mouth. There are a million ways this could go wrong.
Claudia: Yeah, but what if it goes right, John? Think about what I gain, or can you not understand that?
Johnny: I can understand that, Claudia.
Johnny: Because as much as I know I should end things with Lulu, I can't. As much as I want to before she finds out the truth, I can't.
Milo: Now most people think of it as a guy thing, but what they fail to realize is that heart disease is the number one killer of women.
Diane: Milo, I know this. In fact, it was I, last February, who reached out to Alexis Davis to educate her --
Milo: So you know it's just as important for women to control their risk factors. Stress? Forget about it, it's the worst.
Max: Yeah, yeah, Diane’s got a lot of stress.
Diane: Oh, do I?
Milo: You have to counteract it with exercise and healthy eating.
Max: Diane's got an important job. She can't spend all day in the kitchen.
Milo: There's plenty of good stuff that doesn't take any time at all. Campbell's Healthy Request soups, Swanson chunk chicken, Prego Heart Smart?
Diane: I took a basket of those very items to Alexis.
Milo: With all due respect, Ms. Miller, we're talking about you. Your heart, your health. It's never too soon to start monitoring both.
Max: Milo does have some good points. I mean --
Diane: Which sound suspiciously well-rehearsed.
Milo: Would you look at that? You got a jar of Prego right here with you.
Diane: You have got to be kidding.
Milo: I'll probably have the chef put it on your penne for you.
Diane: Milo, please do. That sounds delicious.
Milo: Go for it.
Max: I'm glad my kid brother stopped by. He's full of useful information.
Diane: And you are full of it. How dare you imply that I do not take good care of my heart?
[Knock at door]
Spinelli and Winnifred: Oh.
Winnifred: Uh --
Spinelli: Priestess, uh --
Winnifred: [Laughs] My apologies for startling you.
Spinelli: Actually, the Jackal's reaction could be more described -- better described as astonished to see the priestess in my bedroom.
Winnifred: Well, that housekeeper proved to be most formidable, and I was forced to use my legal authority to gain entrance, and I was led to believe that I would find you in bed.
Spinelli: Uh --
Winnifred: Uh, not that it was my intention to take advantage. Um, that is, all people need to sleep. And in your case, recuperate. Ordinarily, I would call first or I would make an appointment.
Spinelli: Undoubtedly, the priestess has a purpose to be here.
Winnifred: The situation is most dire. Anthony Zacchara -- unless he can be found, the Jackal will be caged. Permanently.
Edward: Now that building is more than a hospital. It always has been. You see, I look at as a statement of who we are, and I choose to take this as an opportunity. An opportunity to build on the future, you know, bigger and bolder for the next generation.
Jax: Well, you don't have to sell me, Edward.
Carly: Yep, I'm on board.
Edward: Well, and the Quartermaines will of course assume a leadership position, but we can't do it alone. This takes concerted effort.
Jax: Yes, of course. Well, I'll be happy to match any donation that you make.
Carly: I'll write a big fat check, and I'm sure you can get money from Jason, Nikolas, and Sonny.
Jax: Yeah, just send the paperwork to my assistant and she'll take care of it.
Edward: Well, now, wait. It takes more than a blank check, it takes passion and commitment.
Carly: I think we have passion.
Edward: You see, I want to get input from our best and brightest.
Jax: Well, uh, you can start with Carly. I'm sure she would love to give you some of her insights. Excuse me, I'll be right back.
Carly: You know what, if you are really serious about doing this, Edward, I think that, you know, General Hospital has to be more than just a hospital with machines. I think you have to have people in there taking care of people and really caring about people.
Edward: Now, that's the General Hospital that I like.
Jax: I have a job for you.
Olivia: I already have a job. I'm your operations manager.
Jax: And assistant.
Olivia: That's never been formalized, and I'm running behind right now.
Jax: Well, I have a new assignment. Top priority.
Winnifred: Your actions during the hospital crisis were most exemplary. If it were up to me, you would be rewarded for those brave deeds and granted amnesty for your past crimes.
Spinelli: I fear Agent Rayner does not share your high opinion of the Jackal.
Winnifred: Well, Agent Rayner wants Anthony Zacchara subjected to a very public arrest and trial. He wants to send a message to organized crime. And alas, Anthony Zacchara seems to have disappeared. So Agent Rayner will not be satisfied unless another equally high-profile crime boss is brought to justice. He's prepared to pressure Jason Morgan into giving evidence against Michael "Sonny" Corinthos, Jr.
Spinelli: Well, that is a course that is doomed to fail. Stone Cold will not comply.
Winnifred: Well, if he refuses, then Agent Rayner is just going to arrest the Jackal again and set the harsh and unyielding wheels of federal justice into motion. Man, I am breaking all kind of rules by warning you, but, dude, this is way bad. If Anthony Zacchara really is gone and Jason Morgan won't give up Sonny Corinthos, then the Jackal is going to be arrested.
Spinelli: Mr. Sir is his former mentor and best friend.
Winnifred: But what about his obligation to you? His most loyal of apprentices? The wingman to his pilot? The grasshopper to his Zen mastership?
Spinelli: I -- I could never ask Stone Cold to betray Mr. Sir.
Winnifred: Well, then the Jackal must use all of his cyber-skills to flee the country and to hide where the FBI will never find him.
Spinelli: The priestess wishes the Jackal to just run away?
Winnifred: That is the last thing that I want.
Maxie: Do not come any closer. No kissing, no touching, no emotional reconciliation. Lulu is busy.
Lulu: Don't go anywhere, we just have to wait till her hissy fit's done.
Maxie: I need you to get on the phones and do whatever it takes, okay? Make promises, bribes, sexual favors --
Johnny: Excuse me.
Maxie: You are not here. I need "Crimson" on the list for that Campbell’s A.H.A gala happening in Manhattan this afternoon. There's going to be tons of press, it'll be perfect.
Lulu: Okay, the list was closed ages ago. The Campbell’s A.H.A gala is the hardest ticket to get.
Maxie: I don't want to hear negativity. Just do it.
Lulu: And while I'm accomplishing the impossible, what are you going to be doing?
Maxie: Uh, getting all the contact information for the a-list celebrities that we know. Maybe one of them can wear the dress.
Diane: What? I love it. It's delicious. It's also delicious every time I make it at home. And if you didn't know that it was Prego Heart Smart, you wouldn't know how good it was for you.
Max: Well, I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Diane: That's not the point, Max. I know all about the benefits of a heart-healthy diet. I'm the one that talked to Alexis about it.
Max: You know what, I think that's great that you worry about Alexis, but I worry about you.
Diane: That doesn't mean that you need to go getting your little brother to do your dirty work for you, implying that a woman of my position, a competent professional, doesn't take care of her health.
Max: It's because you're so competent and you're such in demand. Sometimes I don't think you think about it.
Diane: What makes you say that?
Max: Because I pay attention to you. I watch you. And since February is heart health month, I --
Diane: Okay, okay. Didn't I wear a fabulous, fetching, and well-cut red number on February 6, National Go Red Day? You said it looked great.
Max: And you did, and you do. But it's about more than wearing red and looking great. Heart disease affects so many women. And you have a history of it in your family. Which even puts you more at risk.
Diane: How do you know that?
Max: Well, because I also listen to you when you talk. And I want you to listen to me now. You just can't hand out advice to Alexis. You have to follow it yourself. You need to eat right, watch your health, get regular checkups, and let your boyfriend pamper you and take away some of that stress.
Diane: How can I argue with that?
Max: You can't.
Diane: I won't.
Max: Ooh, a little sauce.
Diane: Oh, good.
Edward: I chose this opportunity to make some much-needed improvements at General Hospital, and I'm going to streamline the bidding process so that construction can begin within a month.
Jax: That is Edward. He is an institution. He's also an old flirt who loves the ladies. Now I'm 100% behind his project to rebuild the hospital.
Jax: But I need to concentrate on saving my marriage first. So I need a liaison for Carly and me on this project.
Olivia: So the two of you can focus on other things?
Jax: Other things, right.
Jax: Thank you very much.
Olivia: Mr. Quartermaine. How do you do? I'm Olivia Falconeri. I'm Mr. Jacks' personal assistant. I don't remember if you remember meeting me at the hospital the other day.
Edward: Of course I do.
Olivia: Well, I certainly remember meeting you.
Edward: You know, they say that I'm an institution.
