Sonny: I'm asking you, please. Don't call Jason.
Carly: Who says I'm calling Jason?
Sonny: I don't want him coming over taking care of me.
Carly: Can you let go of my arm?
Sonny: I don't want you calling anybody outside.
Carly: You know what? This is my phone, and this is my living room, and if it weren't for me you would be on the bottom of the harbor with weights on your feet. I'm going to do what I have to do.
Jason: Sam? Answer me.
[Sam makes muffled cries]
Jason: Come on.
Jerry: My, my, my. Jason seems very concerned for a man who dropped-kicked you out of his life.
Patrick: She was fine two seconds ago.
Mac: Please, please do something.
Kelly: Patrick -- chest compressions.
Kelly and Anna: Patrick.
Kelly: Code blue, room 1014. Code blue.
Anna: What is happening?
Maxie: What is going on?
Kelly: Okay, take the baby and get out. We need room for the crash cart. Go. Come on.
Patrick: Robin, come on.
Kelly: Charge to 200.
Matt: Charging 200.
Patrick: Come on.
Matt: Watch out. Clear.
Kelly: One milligram epi.
Epiphany: Epi in. No change, Dr. Lee.
Patrick: Come on, Robin.
Kelly: Okay, charge to 200.
Matt: It is 200. Watch out. Clear.
Patrick: Come on, come on.
Nikolas: I'd -- I'd appreciate the opportunity to contact my lawyers. I'm sure there's a way we can work all this out.
Lulu: This is crazy. You can't deport him just like that. You've been in America for how long?
Nikolas: Since I was 16.
Lulu: Yes, and he is our hospital's biggest benefactor. You pay taxes all the time, right?
Officer: You're still a foreign national who was caught breaking and entering.
Lulu: Okay, well, he has been arrested before. He's even gone to prison. Well -- he was exonerated. It was a mistake. He was innocent, but the point is that they didn't try to deport him that time.
Officer: It's a different world now. Nobody wants to pay for a trial for some immigrant who refuses to obey the law. Policy is to deport.
Lulu: Okay, um -- we're just trying to find our mother. So, why don't you help us instead of making this more difficult?
Lucky: Okay, look, guys. As you can see, my sister, she's a little upset, and I appreciate you not charging her with anything -- but I don't want to push it, but from one cop to another, if you can just give my brother a little time to sort this out.
Officer: We've already reported him to the I.N.S. Your brother's going to jail.
Carly: That's got to hurt.
Sonny: Don't -- don't touch it. Just go ahead -- just go ahead and leave.
Carly: I can't leave you when you have a wound that's probably getting infected. Not to mention how much water you have sitting in your lungs.
Sonny: I don't need to hear the details, Carly.
Carly: If Jax finds out about is, we're over.
Sonny: What were you supposed to do? Let me drown?
Carly: Any normal person would have dialed 9-1-1. But, no, what did I do? I bring you here.
Sonny: You saved my life. Hey.
Carly: Jax can never find out about this. Which means, I'm trying to get back together with him, and I already have a big secret -- and who's it about? You.
Sonny: You did a good thing. It's -- look, don't make this into something disastrous. You love Jax. Go after him. It's your big chance.
Carly: I can't do that.
Sonny: Just leave me the phone, because I got to -- I'll call somebody, and I'll get it worked out.
Carly: Yeah, and where are you gong? You going to crawl back to your house? You're not going to call Jason, which is the sane thing to do, and even if Kate weren't in the hospital, she's no help at all.
Sonny: Why do you always find a way to slam Kate?
Carly: Because Kate deserves it. She's a disaster. She has twisted your life around. You have basically trashed your life in the past six months, and now you almost got yourself killed -- and who's taking care of you? Not Kate.
Sonny: I -- I didn't ask you to help, Carly.
Carly: I was afraid for you. Just like I'm afraid for you now, because your side looks really bad and you have a fever. And if you die in this house, I swear to God I will never forgive you.
Sonny: I'm not going to die.
Carly: How do you do this, you know? How do I end up with you?
Sonny: You're blaming me for this now?
Carly: Well, I can't leave, because I'm afraid for you, and I can't stay if I want to get back together with Jax. How do you manage, always, to ruin my life?
Jerry: You know what? I'm giving Jason 5 -- no, 10 more minutes.
Sam: I don't know why you're waiting around. You know he wants to kill you.
Jerry: Oh, sweet Sam. The plan is pretty straightforward. You've probably figured out by now that I'm going to take you with me.
Sam: No, I figured you'll try.
Jerry: That's the spirit. You see, if we're gone when Jason arrives, chivalrous soul that he is, he'll go on high alert. He'll probably order any number of annoying and heavily-armed people to start searching and he probably will succeed before I'm ready.
Sam: I just think it might be worse if he does show up.
Jerry: Well, if Jason shows up, you'll tell him everything's fine. There are no problems anywhere. Oh, and if he doesn't believe you, I'll blow his head off, okay?
[Knocking at door]
Jerry: It's show time.
Sam: What are you doing here?
Jason: Something -- something's wrong. Why did you hang up?
Sam: Better question is -- what do you want and since when do you get to walk into my house uninvited?
Jason: Well, you said that somebody was over here.
Sam: You misunderstood.
Jason: No, then the phone cut off, Sam.
Sam: No, Jason. I hung up on you.
Sam: Because I didn't like how you were acting so interested all of the sudden out of nowhere.
Jason: Well, the way you hung up the phone, I was concerned.
Sam: Why would you be concerned? So what? You saved me in an explosion in the alley. Thank you. I appreciate your effort, but I know you would have done it for anyone in this situation.
Jason: Then why not say that on the phone?
Sam: Gosh. Do you really not get it that maybe tonight could have been just a little bit painful for me?
Jason: What are you talking about?
Sam: Well, maybe for two and a half years, I think that you are the love of my life and we have a future together, and then you dump me. And here you are. You're calling, and you're checking up on me -- and maybe a part of me was a little bit happy that you cared. I know. It is so pathetic. Well, you've got to listen to me Jason, okay, because I am done being pathetic. I will never let another man tear my life up again, okay?
Carly: I'm pretty sure the blade didn't hit any vital organs.
Doctor: Yeah, you've lost a great deal of blood here.
Carly: So, he's going to need plenty of rest and fluids. What about the water in his lungs? Are we going to have a problem with that?
Doctor: The antibiotics should prevent any pneumonia and infection. I'm glad you didn't put off calling me.
Carly: You know, I wasn't sure if you were still doing this.
Sonny: Hey, Doc. When can I just get up and move around?
Carly: You're not going to get 10 feet out the door before you pass out.
Doctor: If that. You listen to her.
Sonny: Well, I really don't have a choice. So, it don't matter.
Carly: Is he going to be okay?
Doctor: Yes, but he's going to need someone with him around the clock. I'm sure your wife will take excellent care of you.
Tracy: What is taking the car service so long? Call them again.
Clerk: I called three minutes ago, ma'am.
Tracy: Do you see a car there? I don't, and I have a jet waiting on the tarmac. I will lose my departure time.
Clerk: You cancelled the last three cars I had waiting.
Tracy: I know. I'm the customer. I get to change my mind, and now I want to leave. I have no reason to stay, and as soon as I get back to Port Charles, I am calling my divorce lawyer. So, if you don't get me a car immediately, I am going to report you to your superior.
Officer: Mrs. Luke Spencer?
Tracy: Where's my husband? Is he all right?
Officer: The cab your husband stole is not damaged.
Tracy: My husband did not steal a cab. The driver was well compensated. Where is my husband?
Officer: There was a high speed accident. Mr. Baldwin's vehicle went over a cliff, and we have reason to believe that Luke and Laura Spencer were inside.
Tracy: You did this.
Nikolas: This is Nikolas Cassadine. Can you transfer me, please? Thank you.
Lucky: Thank you for letting my brother make this phone call.
Officer: We've already spent too much time on this.
Lulu: What I said before about Nikolas being in prison -- you have to understand he was never really guilty in the first place. It was a huge misunderstanding.
Lucky: Hey, you have to let the lawyers deal with this. That's what he pays them for.
Lulu: But Nikolas didn't do anything wrong. He's an extremely responsible person. This was all my idea to come in here, anyway.
Officer: If you keep talking, we're going to have to charge you, too.
Lucky: And that is the last thing we need right now, all right, Lulu? Considering the situation. So, take it easy.
Nikolas: I apologize for the delay. My lawyers are straightening all this out.
Officer: We get that a lot, but in the mean time, you're going to detention.
Lulu: Oh, this is a violation of his rights.
Officer: Yeah? Yeah, we got him right here. What -- what should we do with him?
Mac: This is taking too long.
Anna: They're still working on her.
Matt: Okay, we got a heartbeat, but she is in SVT.
Epiphany: BP is 60 over 32.
Kelly: She's bleeding out.
Matt: All right, but she's in sinus -- her heartbeat is down to 120.
Patrick: Okay, she's stabilizing.
Kelly: Good, good. Excellent work, people. Thank you.
Patrick: You think this is D.I.C.?
Kelly: Probably. I let you stay through the crisis. You need to leave now.
Kelly: Dr. Drake, you don't belong here for a lot of excellent reasons --
Patrick: Kelly, I'm not leaving.
Matt: I think they got it under control now. So, we should -- you know, we should get out.
Matt: Okay, I'll go if you go. Come on.
Anna: She's all right?
Patrick: She's stable, yeah.
Mac: We heard the doctor say she's bleeding out.
Patrick: She's got internal bleeding.
Anna: Well, how come? Why is she bleeding? Patrick.
Matt: Robin has disseminated intravascular coagulation. It's known as D.I.C. It's a complication that's unrelated to HIV.
Anna: I don't even know what that means.
Matt: We can't get Robin's blood to clot, and if we can't, then eventually she'll bleed to death.
Anna: No, she wonít.
Nikolas: I do appreciate your understanding on this matter, and I apologize for wasting any more of your time.
Officer: This isn't going away. You have to report to the I.N.S. office in Port Charles within three days.
Nikolas: And I will.
Lulu: I don't believe this.
Scott: Tracy, this is Spencerís fault. He was chasing --
Tracy: Don't you blame it on my husband --
Lulu: Where is my mother? What did you do with her?
Scott: I don't remember.
Lulu: What do you mean you don't remember? Where is she?
Tracy: Scott says he was involved in a car accident.
Lulu: Where is my mother?
Tracy: His car went over a cliff.
Lulu: Was my mom in the car?
Tracy: Lulu, the only thing we know is that Luke and Laura are both missing.
Nikolas: Well, Scott, were they in the car?
Scott: Laura was in the car. We were driving. We went into some kind of a skid. That's all I remember, and then I woke up and my car was gone, Laura was gone, Luke's cab that he was chasing us in -- he was about 20 feet away. That's it.
Nikolas: So, what? We can assume that our mother went over a cliff in your car and now she's with Luke?
Sonny: I really don't think your cooking is going to help me heal, and if -- whoa, whoa, whoa.
Carly: All I did was open up a can, pour it in a bowl, and stick it in the microwave.
Sonny: Not hungry.
Carly: I don't care. The doctor said you needed fluids, so you're going to eat.
Sonny: Fluids? I'll drink water. You got any scotch? I'll drink scotch.
Carly: You don't need scotch. The doctor left you plenty of pain medication.
Sonny: I don't want to be doped up.
Carly: You know what you're going to do? You're going to eat. You're going to take your pills, and then you're going to get some rest. That's what you're going to do.
Sonny: No, look. Karpov's going to send people to confirm that I'm dead. When they don't find a body, they're going to go after people that are associated with me.
Carly: We haven't been associated in a long time.
Sonny: You're the mother of my sons.
Carly: Please, call Jason and get him to send over some help.
Sonny: No, no -- will you please not call Jason?
Carly: I'm supposed to sit here and wait for the bad guys to show up, because you're too proud to make a call?
Sonny: Leave. I've been telling you that --
Carly: I'm not going anywhere.
Sonny: Oh, okay.
Carly: And you should know, the only thing I have for protection in this house is a baseball bat. You really think I should have a gun?
Sonny: No, no. You don't need a gun, because you're lethal with a baseball bat. Remember when you showed up at that mob meeting, and you scared all those guys?
Carly: That was a long time ago.
Carly: But I did save Michaelís baseball bats for protection, because I don't think I should have a gun in the house.
Sam: You can leave now.
Jason: I just want to make sure everything's okay.
Sam: Yeah, you don't get to drop me like a bad habit and then come in and be my hero. It's passive-aggressive, and I do resent it.
Jason: I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
Jerry: [Whispering] Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wow. Brava, brava, mamma mia. That was -- that was a great performance, indeed. Although, I'm a little bit disappointed, because I had the perfect shot. Amazing.
Sam: Wouldn't killing Jason have messed up your plan?
Jerry: Yes. That's why he's still alive. In any case, great job.
Sam: Well, I meant every word I said. He is the worst mistake I ever made.
Jerry: Oh, do I detect a note of bitterness?
Sam: No. I worked really hard to try and hold on, and I am not going to be pathetic and go back groveling to him just because he saved me in some stupid alley.
Jerry: Oh, wow. That's hardly the attitude for gratitude, as they say. You know, he probably did save your life.
Sam: Yeah, probably. It was a coincidence.
Jerry: Well, that was a lucky one. Maybe he was suspicious. Do you think he'll be coming back? What do you think?
Maxie: We're taking turns sitting with you. I wanted to be first, big surprise. Well, I've been where you are now, sick in the hospital, with the whole family waiting outside for you to get better -- and I pulled through. You're a much strong person than I am, Robin. I mean, let's face it. You never do anything wrong. So, you can't start letting people down now. It's not just for me. It's for Mac, too. He's not -- he's not over losing Georgie, not by a lot, and I can't be the only family he has left. That's not fair. Just don't bail on him, now that all the fun is about to start.
Maxie: Emma's doing great. She's HIV negative, but I guess you heard that, right? I know you like to tell people that your mom's your hero, but you're going to have a chance to be Emmaís hero, too. You're going to get to be with her and watch her grow up -- not just in pictures or after the fact. That's the best kind of hero to be, right? Someone who is around all the time, lives under the same roof, maybe manages to get dinner on the table once or twice a week. We both know that feeling, that empty feeling when you realize no matter how much you hope or how good you try to act, your mom is just not coming back. You can't help but feel like maybe you just weren't worth sticking around for. And Emmaís not going to understand how sick you were, Robin. She's not going to understand how much you love her and how much you wanted to bring her into this world. She's just going to know that you're gone. You're not going to do that to her. You're not going to leave her with that hole in her heart. So, you're going to get better, not for me, not for Mac or Patrick. You're going to do it for that little girl.
Patrick: So, I don't really know what I'm supposed to say here. Hi. How are you? You know, your name was just about Alyssa Rose, but that doesn't suit you at all. Does it? Emma Grace Scorpio-Drake. That's a pretty serious name.
Patrick: You know, your mom wanted you so badly. It took me a little while to figure it out, but creating you and having the privilege to love you, raise you, is going to be the most important thing that we ever do. Here's the thing, Emma. I don't -- I don't -- I don't know if I know how to be your dad. You know, sure, I can read the books and make it look good on the surface, but I'm talking about really being your father, loving you and making you feel safe and secure and making sure that every decision I make is about you. See, I need your mom for that, and I probably shouldn't tell you this, but without her I don't think I can pull this off.
Anna: Hi, honey. Well, you don't look like a new mother who's got a baby down the hall. You look like a little girl.
Anna: You look like when I used to come back after some crazy mission, and I'd step into your room and watch you sleep. That was the best part. I used to feel like I was going to just burst with love for you. And now you get to do that. You're going to experience that. You're going to be able to stand over your child and just feel all that love.
Anna: You've earned this, Robin. You really deserve it.
Anna: So you stay with us, and you stay with your little girl.
Spinelli: Might I provide the deeply concerned uncle with a refreshing libation?
Mac: Did you just offer me something to drink?
Spinelli: Yeah, perhaps a blend of rich caffeine and dairy products or the old standby, nectar of the gods?
Mac: No, thanks. All I want is for my niece to live. You know, I've never seen Robin so happy this morning. All day. Whenever it was, I don't know. I've lost all track of time now. She was sitting on the couch, surrounded by thank you notes. So calm. So relaxed. She never doubted Patrick for a second. She was right.
Mac: Robin deserves love like this you know? She's come close to happiness so many times in her life. And something has always happened to take it away. She's lost so much. And now, we could be losing her.
Spinelli: I would never presume to speak for the newly-maternal one, but I do believe that she is the most iron-willed and tenacious individual I have ever encountered. And, to that end, I believe that she will survive through a sheer force of will, if nothing else, and achieve her hard-won goal of bringing up her precious progeny.
Mac: I don't know what you just said, Spinelli, but I know it was from the heart. And for that I thank you.
Matt: How's the baby?
Patrick: She's good.
Patrick: Yeah, she's negative.
Matt: Yeah, yeah, that's really good.
Patrick: Yeah. You want to go in?
Matt: Oh -- no, that's okay. I was just stopping by to check on her, but I didn't know that you were going to be here.
Patrick: You know --
Patrick: I don't know how I'm going to do this. Last summer we, uh -- we lost a patient that was HIV positive. And by all accounts, she was healthy. She did everything right. Robin really identified with her. She had an emergency C-section and delivered a healthy baby girl. But she had similar complications to Robin, and she died. So as a doctor, I know that it's possible.
Matt: Robin's getting a transfusion, so they're doing everything they can to improve her chances.
Patrick: Yeah, but still it's -- you know, I think maybe I could be okay in time, but -- but I can't raise her alone.
Sam: Look, why make me your captive when I could be your partner?
Jerry: Oh, it's so convenient switching sides so late in the game, isn't it?
Sam: I am a survivor just like you. We go where our --
Jerry: Sit down!
Sam: I got rid of Jason. Lucky, he's out of the picture. Why wouldn't I want to cut myself in on a piece of the action?
Jerry: You have it all figured out, don't you?
Sam: No, I just know that I can be useful to you.
Jerry: And you were a diversion, sweet Sam, a bit of a challenge through my mind-numbing stroll through the straight and narrow. But I know your objectives. You want to keep your mother away from me, and you want to bust me. It didn't work. And now you're fresh out of allies, and of course you want to be on my side. I am your last resort, aren't I?
Sam: No, I am my last resort. I have known all along that I am the only person that I can count on.
Jerry: I love your pragmatism. It's very much like my own. But you know what? While I'd love to understand you, I think you'll understand that I canít.
Jerry: Sweet Sam. I'm afraid this is the biggest game of all. Not mine. Not yours. Mine!
Officer: Okay, we need to go back over your story again.
Scott: Laura and I were driving back to the hotel.
Lucky: Where were you going?
Scott: We had been sightseeing. And then your father showed up. He stole a cab --
Tracy: He did not steal a cab. He did not steal a cab.
Lucky: Why did you drive away?
Nikolas: Why didn't you at least pull over and let her out?
Scott: Because your father was out of control. He was probably drunk as usual.
Lulu: Oh, I'm sorry, which one of you drove off the cliff?
Scott: I remember that I had hit the guard rail. That's it --
Lulu: I thought you didn't remember anything. Obviously his story is not true. You should arrest him.
Nikolas: Excuse us for a moment. Come here.
Nikolas: You need to calm down and stop provoking him.
Lulu: He drove our mom off a cliff.
Nikolas: All we know for certain right now is that Mom and Luke are missing. And we need to stay focused on finding them. Antagonizing him doesn't help anything.
Tracy: All right, can't we get helicopters and search dogs?
Officer: The car was spotted in very rough terrain, and we're short on manpower.
Nikolas: Look, I'll pay for and organize a private search, starting tomorrow morning. We'll find him, okay?
Patrick: The patient I was telling you about -- Robin wanted to adopt her, the little girl. It didn't work out. But it made Robin realize how badly she wanted to have a kid of her own. Having a family wasn't really in my plan, you know? So we ended up breaking up, and I realized how much I loved her. I realized that with Robin my life would be more than I ever -- could have ever imagined. But the key concept is with Robin, because without her I know I'd be a disaster. I know I'd spend every waking moment in the O.R. I'd work eighty hour weeks, I'd spend my weekends on call, I'd pay somebody to raise our little girl. And as bad as it sounds, it's just the truth. But I know I would run. I know I would hide, because every time I'd look at Emma, I'd see Robin.
Matt: Okay, Robin isn't dead yet. And even if she does die, what are you going to do? Are you going to send the kid back? You have to be the best at everything you do. Agreed?
Matt: You gonna figure out how to be the best father.
Patrick: We didn't really have the best example, did we?
Matt: No, no, we sure as hell didnít. But all you got to do is put the kid first. No one ever did that for either of us, so at least you get that part right.
Patrick: I'm really scared I'm going to mess up.
Matt: Even if you do, at least you'll be making your own mistakes instead of just repeating someone elseís.
Sam: Did you poison me? Or is it just going to look like an overdose?
Jerry: No, no, no. I would never leave you to be lying dead on the bathroom floor. That would be disrespectful to you, and it would be a terrible waste.
Sam: Then what's the plan?
Jerry: Well, I gave you a little something to be more comfortable during the trip -- I mean, more comfortable for me.
Sam: Where are we going?
Jerry: Well, let's call it your final destination. Oh, oh, oh. No, no, no, no, no, no. No calling for help. I doubt that Jason would make a dash for the second time anyway, right?
Jerry: All right. You know what? You look quite fetching. Maybe we'll make the most of it once we get where we're going. All right? Come on. Uppity, uppity whoa -- there we go. There we go. Great, yes. Excellent. Here we go.
Jason: No, it was a bad explosion, Bernie. It was in the alley off of Third Street. I don't think I was the target, but somebody is definitely stepping up their game. You know? Maybe it's Karpov. Maybe it's Jerry. I -- you know what, Bernie? Let me call you right back.
Sonny: Whatever you're doing in there, I don't want any more soup.
Carly: Good, because I'm not making you soup.
Sonny: What's that?
Carly: Well, your fever's not breaking, so you're getting a sponge bath.
Sonny: No, no, no, no, no, no.
Carly: Yep. Doctor's orders. It'll help your fever break.
Sonny: That's a stupid idea.
Carly: What is the big deal? It's not like I'm exploring new territory.
Sonny: Oh, please.
Carly: Okay. Hold still.
Sonny: Ah. It's cold.
Carly: You're such a baby. It's not cold. It's Lukewarm.
Sonny: It's dripping all over my --
Carly: Would you stop acting like I'm torturing you?
Sonny: This is hell of a way to spend your birthday.
Patrick: So, I just checked on Emma. She's beautiful. She's perfect. And I'm pretty scared. Before I met you, I hardly even remember then, but the most important thing in my life was being the best surgeon. You know? I thought I knew all the answers. You showed me that I didn't even know the questions. But now I know the answer. Robin, you're the answer to everything. I love you, and I need you. And our daughter needs you. So you have to live.
[Knock at door]
Jason: Sam, open the door. Sam, open --
[Door creaks open]
Jerry: Here you go, darling. Here's the fresh air to clear up your head.
[Jerry grunts with exhaustion]
Jerry: I have a bit of business to take care of, payments to collect. Then we'll depart.
Sam: Where are you taking me?
Jerry: To totally different destinations.
Jerry: You know, sweet Sam, while I admire your base natural instinct, you're a little slow to catch on. You see, you're wonderful in many ways. It's a pity, really, but this voyage will be your last, darling.
Sonny: How old are you again?
Carly: I'm not going to tell you.
Sonny: What, you think I can't figure it out?
Carly: I know you better not figure it out.
Sonny: Like I can't count backwards to the year Michael put all those candles on the cake. And then go -- you now, you think I can't figure that one out?
Carly: He was so proud. He made us turn off all the lights. Remember that?
Sonny: Yeah, we had the cake and the candles started melting because there were so many, you know? We were trying to be quiet. We were laughing because we wanted to surprise you and all that.
Carly: I remember his face was just so lit up and happy and -- just seeing all the candles.
Sonny: He was just laughing.
