Tracy: She's obviously not in there against her will.
Cab driver: Can I help you, sir?
Luke: Yeah, CIA. Commandeering your vehicle.
Tracy: Luke, for once in your life, think about it. Someone could get killed, even you.
Elizabeth: The D cells are taking longer to return the baby's normal heart rate.
Kelly: Bring the secondary results of the infusion.
Robin: It's not working. The baby is in distress.
Patrick: Just let Kelly do her job.
Robin: I want a C-section.
Kelly: Because of the position of the placenta, I'll have to cut right through it to get the baby out. There will be a lot of blood exposure and risk to the baby if -- because it'll be difficult for me to see where I'm cutting.
Robin: Fine, just do whatever is best for the baby.
Sam: I don't know what you think your deal is.
Jason: What are you -- what are you doing?
Cab driver: Aren't they supposed to flash a badge or something before they just take your car?
Tracy: The government moves in very mysterious ways.
Cab driver: What if I never see my cab again?
Tracy: It's just a car. They'll buy you another one. It's not like you saw your spouse take off after your --
Lucky: What happened?
Cab driver: Her husband is a CIA agent. He stole my cab and I am going to sue.
Tracy: Constantly irritating anybody.
Cab driver: He made that up, didn't he, about the CIA?
Nikolas: Come here. Look, I -- I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. You'll be more than compensated for your time and trouble.
Cab driver: I always wanted to meet a spy.
Nikolas: Okay, look, I have an army of attorneys and limited patience. So I suggest that you accept my offer. Now, if you'll excuse us, we're trying to locate a woman who's been abducted. Thank you.
Cab driver: I knew it. You are CIA.
Lulu: Tracy, have you seen our mom?
Tracy: Yes, I have. She was in a car with Scott and she seemed fine.
Lucky: Okay, so Dad stole the guy's cab and he went after them.
Tracy: Yeah, like a bat out of hell.
Luke: Give it up, Baldwin. You're outmatched. You always have been.
Laura: This is crazy.
Scott: I just want a second chance with you.
Laura: Scotty, you can't make things like that happen.
Scott: Well, I think -- I think that -- that we're starting to reconnect here, Laura. I feel it. I think you were feeling it, too, until -- until Spencer showed up. There is -- there is no way that I'm going to let him steal you from me again.
Kelly: I recommend we wait a little longer, give the amnioinfusion time to work. That is my professional opinion. Of course, it's your decision.
Robin: What do you want to do?
Anna: You know, when Robin was a little girl and I used to tuck her in at night, she used to count her blessings. It was so cute. And she always included her doll in that, Cindy. Oh, my God, she loved this doll. She took it everywhere, talked to it and hugged it, played with it, kissed it. If she thought it was hurt or something, I used to, like, try to make repairs, you know, every time it got broken or just wear and tear. And then it came to this point where this doll was barely hanging on by a thread and I really thought that Robin had kind of outgrown her. So, one day, when I was tidying up, I -- I -- I took the doll out to the garage and I -- I just -- I just put it in the trash. And then a week later, Robin, she came down with strep throat and... she asked for the doll. She got really upset and she was sort of sobbing and asking for this doll and I -- I went out to the garage. I was searching through the trash and I was really looking for it and -- but it -- it was too late, you know. It had gone. Why are they taking so long?
Mac: Look -- look, I hate this, too, right, not knowing, not being able to help. We've got to give the doctors their space so they can help Robin, please.
Anna: That's my baby in there, too, you know.
Mac: I know.
Spinelli: The Jackal humbly offers the finest Venezuelan Arabic brew, though he fears the hospital vending machine greatly exaggerates the claim.
Mac: No thanks.
Anna: You're the sweetest man, Spinelli. I don't want any coffee. Thanks.
Maxie: No, no, no caffeine for you. We have enough going on tonight.
Mac: How's the baby?
Anna: How is she?
Kelly: The baby's in mild distress. We're monitoring the situation closely. Robin's scared --
Anna: Yeah, I need to see her. Can I take one of these guys?
Patrick: Try to breathe. Try to breathe.
Robin: Mom, I'm really scared.
Jason: Sam. Hey, hey.
Sam: What happened?
Patrick: There was an explosion. It happened right when we came around the corner. You pulled a gun on me. Who did you think I was?
Sam: Oh, sorry. I got a call.
Jason: Okay, what -- Sam, what do you know about the explosion?
Sam: Jason, I know someone is trying to set me up. It was a trap. Someone's trying to kill me. Whoa, Jason, what are you doing? Come on, there could be another charge set in there.
Jason: First one was strong enough to take you out. I think I found part of the detonator.
Sam: Someone called the cops.
Jason: Let's get out of here.
Carly: Sonny, come on. [Coughs] Stay with me, Sonny. Come on.
Nikolas: So Scott and Luke are now running amok on the freeways of Los Angeles with our mother caught in the middle of their insanity. Great. What were you thinking?
Lucky: You should've let us know the second our dad got in contact with you.
Tracy: He didn't get in contact with me. I hunted him down because I thought he could be of some assistance to your sister.
Lulu: You did this for me?
Tracy: There are those that believe that your father is one of the root causes of your trouble. I wanted to give him an opportunity to be a good -- a good parent to you.
Nikolas: But why didn't you tell Lulu the moment he got into Port Charles?
Tracy: Look, all I know is Luke was flying us back from Mexico on a stolen drug smuggler's plane --
Lulu: Wait, I'm sorry, whoa, whoa -- our dad knows how to fly?
Tracy: No, not really. The plane ran out of gas. We crash landed. And I just had enough money to get us back to Port Charles. We went to Shadybrook. You had escaped. And Scott took off with Laura.
Lucky: So how did you know that they were in Los Angeles?
Tracy: Oh, well, that's another story. Luke has been embezzling from Scott for months, charging all of his living expenses on Scott’s credit card. So he, when he found out that Scott had taken Laura, looked up Scott’s credit card charges, the most recent ones, and here we are.
Lulu: This obviously has nothing to do with me anymore. So why are you helping our dad find our mom?
Tracy: I don't know.
Scott: Come on, come on, come on. Give it up, Spencer. You know what's probably going on in his drunken addled brain right now is that he knows that you want to be with me.
Laura: You blackmailed me in to going with you.
Scott: Laura, come on. You know why I took you out of Shadybrook and brought you to Los Angeles. And you know what? You haven't put up much of a fight.
Laura: When I saw Luke -- you know, you -- you didn't even give me a chance to let him know that I'm all right.
Scott: Well, that's the point, is that it's -- it's the opposite. You are all right. You're safe. I'm going to give you the life that -- that you should have, the life that you deserve.
Laura: Don't do this. Please, don't do it.
Scott: Laura, you're thinking right now of how you want to get back with him. And you shouldn't be doing that. You should ask yourself why you're thinking that, that fool.
Laura: This is where you lose me every time, because I can't tell if this about you loving me or about you beating Luke.
Anna: Okay, it's gone now. There it goes.
Robin: The baby is getting weaker. What if she's suffocating inside of me?
Patrick: No, no, she's not. Our baby is fine.
Robin: Mom, look at the heart rate. Normal is 110 to 160.
Kelly: She's continuing to decel, but she still has variability.
Robin: How do you know what's happening to her?
Anna: Because she's been doing this for a long time, Robin, all right? Now, you don't think that if your baby was in immediate jeopardy, that Kelly wouldn't do something about it? Of course she would. You let her do her job. And you do your job. You're nearly a mom now. So you got to stay strong. You don't panic. And you send your baby lots of strength. And you've got Patrick here.
Patrick: Yeah, I'm right here.
Kelly: I'm going to have to ask you to leave now.
Anna: Okay. I'm right outside.
Robin: Mom... I love you.
Anna: I love you so much.
Robin: My mom's right. I have to give our little girl all of my strength.
Robin: So I need you to promise me something.
Robin: I need you to promise that you will save her, no matter what happens to me.
Anna: They're both stable right now.
Maxie: Is the baby's cord still being pinched off by Robin's contractions?
Anna: Dr. Lee thinks this infusion is going to work. And then the cord will free itself and the baby will be out of danger.
Maxie: What if that doesn't happen?
Anna: It will.
Mac: Hey, come on. Let's just stay positive, okay? Robin is in good hands. Okay, you tried real hard not to show it, but you're more scared now than when you went in.
Anna: I just gave my daughter a pep talk about how mothers are supposed to stay strong. And I was for her. But the baby's heartbeat keeps dropping. And they think that under the circumstances, it would be too dangerous for Robin to have a C-section right now.
Mac: Hey, life has thrown more at Robin than any one person can take, okay? She's always gotten through it.
Anna: I know. She's resilient. But I -- I don't think she could deal with losing her baby.
Spinelli: The Jackal is reluctant to intrude on Maximista's private thoughts, but I seek guidance. I will go or stay as you wish.
Maxie: I just wish that I understood. How can there be so much beauty in the world and at the same time so much loss? What if Robin's baby dies?
Carly: Come on. Oh, come on, Sonny. Breathe. Breathe, damn it. Breathe.
Carly: Come on. Are you okay?
Carly: Oh, God. Thank God. Lay your head down. Just put your head down.
Sonny: I guess this means I'm still alive. I got to get out of here.
Carly: Damn. They stabbed you before they threw you in.
Sonny: How did you find me?
Carly: I came down here to meet Karpov. Lay down. Just lay down.
Sonny: About what?
Carly: Don't worry about it. You just need to rest and take care of yourself.
Sonny: About what?
Carly: Don't worry about it. I came around the corner right when they threw you in.
Sonny: You could have gotten yourself killed. Somebody could've heard you dive in after me. Let's go. Let's get out of here.
Carly: What the hell? Do you think I was going to you die?
Scott: Spencer, you're going to get yourself killed.
Luke: Listen to me, you dirt bag. I don't know how you forced Laura to go along with you.
Scott: Think again.
Laura: Luke. Luke.
Luke: Let me talk to --
Laura: Let me call him back. Come on. I can probably talk some sense into him.
Scott: He doesn't have the sense God gave a goose.
Laura: Scotty, please, just let me tell him that I'm okay.
Scott: I will, Laura. I will as soon as we get where we're going.
Laura: Do you even know where that is?
Scott: Once I shake him, we'll figure out our next move.
Scott's voice: This is Scott Baldwin. Leave a message.
Laura: How do you honestly think this is going to end?
Scott: Good. Happily ever after.
Laura: We can't keep running forever. You know, you can't erase the past. You can't undo my feelings for Luke just by telling me that he's married to Tracy.
Scott: Laura, you heard the truth. You heard it right from Edward.
Laura: I didn't expect his life to -- to stop at the Shadybrook door. I'm glad he moved on.
Scott: You're just trying to talk yourself --
Laura: Well, you know what? Things happen. Life happens. And you have to deal with it like an adult.
Scott: Well, Luke has another wife now. The question you might be asking yourself is how does Luke see this ending? The question you should ask yourself also is why do you care?
Sam: So, what I was saying was I -- I put the word out that I would captain ships into the harbor with no questions asked, for the right price, of course. And Karpov wound up hiring me. Jason, I am convinced that he and Jerry are running this whole counterfeit drug ring.
Jason: Well... you should go to the police. You're in way over your head, Sam.
Sam: Yes, I understand that, Jason. But the cops were getting nowhere and I was, like, this close to getting the proof that I needed. That's why Jerry framed me. He planted some of the stolen -- oh -- drugs in my apartment and he had me arrested. And now the only way I can clear my name is to get him busted. He asked me to meet him there tonight. I had to go.
Jason: But you knew it could be a trap.
Sam: Yeah, I did. That's why I brought my gun. And I'm sorry for pointing it at you.
Jason: What are you going to do about Jerry?
Sam: I don't know. Until now, he's been doing everything he can to work me. So the question is why would he go through all that trouble just to cut his losses and try and kill me?
Carly: God, it doesn't look good, Sonny. It's bleeding really bad. Doing?
Carly: I'm calling 911.
Sonny: No, no, no, listen. We got to get out of here. Karpov's people are going to come back.
Carly: Sonny, I can have help here in a matter of minutes.
Sonny: No cops. No hospitals.
Carly: You're in no condition to argue. Are you kidding me?
Sonny: Okay, here's the way it works. I don't like that you're involved, but you are.
Carly: All right. I know where to take you.
Sonny: Just help me up.
Carly: Come on. We got to get you up. You got to get up.
Leyla: No news to report. I just have Robin's belongings. Normally, I'd label them and put them in a locker --
Anna: Oh, yes, yes, I'll take them.
Mac: Thank you.
Anna: I gave this to Robin to wear for the wedding. It's something old.
Mac: That was Georgie’s.
Anna: Yeah. Maxie gave it to her to wear, something blue. They're supposed to bring her luck.
Mac: They still will.
Maxie: Speaking as someone who is practically a professional, you really stink at sneaking around.
Matt: I'm working.
Maxie: What's your patient's name? You know, you made such a big deal about how you could care less about Patrick even though he's your brother, and now you're walking around here acting like you don't even care about your niece, like you're not worried. Well, if that's the case, then stop eavesdropping on all of our conversations.
Spinelli: Perhaps Maximista is being a tad unfair vis-à-vis her --
Maxie: Why can't more guys be like Spinelli?
Maxie: A man who says what's on his mind. Now, if you can use your credentials and go into that room and find out some stuff for us and then fill us in, great. If you can't, stop hovering around. You're making me nervous.
Matt: I'll see what I can find out.
Patrick: Just try to breathe.
Robin: How's the baby?
Patrick: You're doing fine.
Elizabeth: The baby's heartbeat is not coming back up. It's in the 90's and the variability is almost absent.
Epiphany: This baby is not tolerating the labor.
Kelly: Okay, call anesthesia. And open the emergency c-section tray.
Patrick: You're okay. Very soon, we're going to have our little baby.
Lucky: Thanks. That was Mom's doctor. I told him that we tracked her down.
Tracy: Does he think this is going to trigger a relapse?
Lucky: That would work out well for you.
Tracy: Lucky, I have no ill-will for your mother.
Lucky: The doctor couldn't say for sure.
Nikolas: That's because he doesn't know. No one does. Up until a few days ago, everyone thought Lulu just imagined Mom waking up.
Lucky: Yeah, but now that she has, it changes everything.
Tracy: Well, maybe not in the way that you think. Scott obviously told your mother that Luke and I are married, and maybe she's with Scott because that's how mad she is at Luke.
Lucky: Mom went with Scott to protect Lulu. That's all we know for sure.
Lulu: Wait, I mean we looked at their scrapbook, and we saw how in love they were. Isn't it possible that she still feels that for him?
Tracy: What your mother wants at this point is immaterial. This is about Scott and Luke. I'm sure they both love your mother. They hate each other more.
Scott: Right behind us again.
Laura: You know, eventually you're going to run out of gas. Why not just stop now?
Scott: Well, I should have. I should have years ago, and I thought I did. I had made peace with you and Luke.
Laura: Yeah, you told me. You told me you fell in love with someone else. You fell in love with Dominique and Lucy and --
Scott: I did. Gone now. Laura, listen. These days that I've spent with you now -- I'm falling in love with you all over again.
Laura: Scottie, we're different people now. For God's sake, I'm seriously ill. We don't even know how long I'll be awake this time.
Scott: I know. That's all the more reason why we got to keep going, because whatever time you've got, believe me, you don't want to spend it with that drunk behind us.
Sam: Thank you.
Jason: How sure are you of the connection between Karpov and Jerry?
Sam: Well, I've seen them meet more than once, and the last time I saw them, Karpov gave Jerry a PDA, and my plan was to work Jerry and get the PDA away from him, but no, he had to pull a switch on me, and he arranged for the cops to show up at my apartment, which is where they found the stolen drugs and of course, the PDA with absolutely nothing on it.
Jason: He set you up good.
Sam: But Jason, this -- this is not over.
Jason: Well, you have no evidence. You're facing jail time, and Jerry is clearly onto you. This is about as over as it gets.
Sam: Not quite. Jason, see, I've learned that you never underestimate the size of a male ego. All right, listen, even after I called him out in front of Alexis, even -- even after I called him out in front of the police, after I was arrested, Jerry -- he kept hanging around me. He sees me as his way to cut Karpov out of the picture. He actually thinks that I am desperate enough to take him up on his offer. But me, I think that this could be my chance to get the evidence that I need.
Jason: Okay, but if Jerry's onto you, that means his partner could be onto you, which means Karpov could be behind the explosion.
Sam: Yeah, but what? It's all guesswork right now. There's no way to be for sure.
Jason: Maybe there is.
Carly: No one's been here since Kate was shot. Come in.
Sonny: All right.
Carly: You'll be staying --
Sonny: No, no.
Carly: At the hotel. Morgan -- come here.
Sonny: No, I'm fine.
Carly: Morgan's there with Mercedes, so no one's here. Sit down.
Carly: Come on.
Sonny: Ah. Okay.
Carly: It's going to be warm in here in a second.
Sonny: Good, because it's freezing. Karpov was too busy congratulating himself he didn't look where he was -- look, I think it's not --
Carly: Oh, my God.
Sonny: It's not that deep. No, the -- I think my ribs turned the knife.
Carly: No, you should see a doctor, Sonny.
Sonny: No, no, Karpov thinks I'm dead. I need him to think that. That way I can make my next move.
Carly: What are you talking about, your next move? You can't even walk. You almost died.
Sonny: He stabbed me, left me to die. He hit me. I'm going to hit him back. I mean, that's what I do, right?
Carly: You're going to hit him back, and then he's going to hit you back, and you guys are just going to keep going back and forth until you really do wind up dead, so basically, saving your life has been just one big waste of time.
Sonny: Ow! What the hell were you meeting with Karpov for? What are you doing?
Carly: We're not strangers. We had a mild flirtation over the summer.
Sonny: What? Flirtation -- what the hell was that about?
Carly: Well, I thought you were working a deal with Karpov behind Jason's back, so you know, I went to help Jason. Tonight I thought I could work Karpov and find out if he was really behind Kate’s shooting.
Sonny: Okay, that's my job, not yours, okay? Don't get involved. Out of all the crazy, stupid things that you've done --
Carly: You know what, Sonny? I thought -- I thought that if I could prove that Karpov didn't shoot Kate, then you wouldn't continue to go after him and you wouldn't wind up in the middle of a war, but obviously I was too late.
Sonny: Okay, listen to me. There's no way for me to avoid a fight with Karpov, even though right now I -- I might believe that he didn't shoot Kate. After what he just did, he's done, and you shouldn't be the target.
Carly: I wouldn't be complaining, because if I didn't go down there tonight, you'd be dead.
Sam: Hey, why did you happen to be in the alley tonight?
Jason: I just went for a walk to get some fresh air. You know, I was at -- I was at Robin's wedding, and she went into labor at the altar, and they had to rush her to the E.R.
Sam: Yeah, I heard about that. I think that's a pretty dramatic entrance for a kid to make. Hey, did she have a boy or a girl?
Jason: She's having a girl. There were complications. When I left they were deciding whether or not to do an emergency C-section.
Sam: Wow. That must have been intense for you.
[Knock on door]
Jason: [Whispering] Jerry.
Jason: Whatever it is, make it fast.
Jerry: Well, I'm here to raise a rather indelicate subject, the former love of your life, Sam McCall.
Elizabeth: Okay, she's ready.
Robin: I didn't feel anything.
Doctor: Baby's heartbeat is down in the 60'S.
Robin: Oh, God.
Patrick: Just look at me. Look me in the eyes. Hey, right here. It's okay.
Kelly: Let's go. We got to get this baby out now.
Matt: Where is O’Donnell? He's the best neonatal care guy that we have.
Epiphany: Dr. Lee is prepared for any contingency.
Matt: What --
Maxie: Why didn't they do the C-section on Robin as soon as she got to the hospital? Why did they wait until it was some kind of dangerous surgery that could kill her or the baby or both? Somebody screwed up here.
Epiphany: Dr. Lee is making the best medical decisions under the circumstances.
Maxie: Yeah, I'm sure the malpractice attorneys hear that one all the time.
Matt: Okay, Epiphany, I -- I got this one. You don't mean any of this.
Maxie: If anything happens to Robin or that baby --
Matt: I think you're upset and you're scared and you're looking for somewhere to put it.
Maxie: Epiphany, I'm sorry. I was way out of line with you, and with you, too. That baby is your niece.
Matt: She's going to be fine. You just have to keep telling yourself that.
Kelly: Knife. Just what I was afraid of. Her placenta's right there.
Kelly: I'll have to cut through it.
Doctor: Robin's B.P. is dropping.
Kelly: Suction. There's so much of it, I can't see. She's hemorrhaging.
Patrick: It's okay. Hey, hey, hey, hey, stay -- Robin, stay with me. Hey, look at me. Robin, look at me. Hey, hey, hey, look at me. Come on.
Laura: Whoa, will you watch out? You can't even see where you're going.
Scott: Yeah, I can. I can see fine.
Luke: Slow down, you idiot.
Scott: He can't keep up. I'm going to shake him right now.
Elizabeth: Robin's stabilized.
Robin: The baby?
Patrick: Yeah, just relax. She's just about here. You're doing great. You're doing great.
Elizabeth: Robin, you're doing a great job. Hang on, we're almost there.
Kelly: Okay, we're there. There's the umbilical cord around the baby's neck.
Patrick: It's okay.
Kelly: I'm taking it off. Okay, I got her.
Robin: What's wrong? Why isn't she breathing?
Patrick: Robin, she's okay. She's going to be fine.
Robin: She's not breathing.
Patrick: Yes, she's going to be fine.
Robin: She can't die.
Patrick: She's not going to die. Hey, she's not going to die. Robin.
Robin: I'm so scared.
Patrick: She's okay.
Jerry: Sweet Sam has run afoul of your adversary, Andrei Karpov.
Jason: And you know this how?
Jerry: Well, I'm in a position to hear things, and I hear that Sam is working for Karpov and she's appropriated his cargo by herself, and that part could be verified. The police arrested her with the contraband in her apartment.
Jason: Why are you telling me?
Jerry: Because you and Karpov have a truce. When Sam finds out that Karpov is gunning for her, she'll come to you for help. I mean, you're a pragmatic man, Jason, a quality sorely lacking your predecessor. I can't imagine that you'd risk to break the peace you've worked so hard to achieve for a castoff girlfriend.
Carly: Okay, well, you know what? I don't think -- take this -- I don't think a butterfly bandage and a few pills are what you need, but that's all I have to offer right now.
Sonny: Okay, I just need to rest. You should go.
Carly: Are you serious? I'm not leaving.
Sonny: Okay, you don't want to -- you don't want to be, you know, in this any further than you already are.
Carly: I didn't save you from drowning so you can turn around and bleed to death, Sonny. Come on.
Sonny: Now is not the -- don't touch it. Now is not the time to be stubborn.
Carly: Well, you know what? Now is not the time that you're going to get your way, 'cause I'm staying.
Sonny: Don't turn this into a contest, okay, and making it about you.
Carly: I'm not making it about me, okay?
Sonny: Well, this -- this is -- we have to think about Morgan. The whole idea is to keep him safe, right, so don't get involved.
Lucky: Excuse me, ma'am. I'm a police officer. Can you open that room for me please?
Lucky: Thank you.
Man: Can I see that badge, please?
Lucky: And you are?
Man: Detective Landry. I'm with the hotel.
Lucky: Just an officer.
Landry: You're way out of your jurisdiction, Officer.
Lucky: Well, the guest happens to be a resident of Port Charles, and I just, you know --
Landry: We're in the state of California.
Lucky: I just need to take a quick look.
Landry: We have rules here, too. Come on, let's go.
Lulu: So now what?
Nikolas: We'll be fine. Lucky can take care of himself.
Lulu: But we don't know where Scott took mom. How are we going to get in his room and look for clues?
Nikolas: I think I might know what to do.
Luke: Are you hurt?
Laura: I -- I don't think so.
Luke: Okay, sit very still. I'll get you out.
