Carly: Did your butler not have time to dress you this morning?
Carly: This is terrible.
Nikolas: Don't blame this on Alfred. I didn't want to be late for our meeting, so I decided to not have the shirt properly pressed.
Carly: Oh, wow. You have your priorities straight.
Nikolas: So, hey, if you're looking for a job after I buy this place, there might be an opening for a personal valet.
Carly: That's going to make me want to sell my shares? You're offering me a job as a servant?
Nikolas: I can assure you that the incentives are considerably better than that.
Sonny: I'm going to make sure Karpov pays. I'm going to make sure all my enemies are afraid to come near you. Whatever it takes, Kate. I'm going to keep you safe.
Robin: Okay, I admit it's not as brave as you asking me to marry you over the P.A. system. But now I appreciate how truly amazing that was. And how stupid I was to say no. I love you so much, and I want to be married to you. And I want to, you know, I should probably just shut up so I can actually give you a chance to answer the question. But just so that we're very clear on what the question is --
Robin: Will you marry me?
Robin: If you're worried that saying yes is going to stress me out, don't because I was the one that was stressing myself out by pushing the thing away that I know I wanted the most. I should have just said yes to begin with.
Patrick: I'm kind of glad that you didn't though. It's, you know, it's given me time to focus on what you need, not what I need, and you genuinely don't want to be married.
Robin: Yes, I do.
Patrick: I know it must have been painful for you to wait outside with Sonny. To watch him deal with the prospect of losing Kate. That's a painful situation, but it doesn't mean you have to go and pull a 180.
Robin: That's not what I'm doing. That's not what I'm doing. I've been thinking about this for a while. Watching my dad deal with his colon cancer and have to face his own mortality. And having him tell me that the only thing he regrets in his life is not spending more time with the people that he loved. That put everything in perspective for me. Life is short. And love is rare. And it takes an idiot to waste either one or both, which makes me a double idiot, I guess.
Patrick: You are the bravest, most independent woman that I know.
Robin: No, I'm a control freak that was afraid to just be happy in case I might be devastated. But now I can finally admit how ridiculous I've been.
Patrick: Robin, I don't want you to marry me because you feel that you've been ridiculous or that you're over-emotional with sentiment and fear. I don't want you to wake up one day and regret that you're my wife.
Sonny: Dr. Drake says that she'll make a full recovery. She'll be able to walk.
Olivia: Thank God.
Sonny: So you made the right decision on the surgery.
Olivia: Well, it was you that talked me into trusting that Dr. Drake.
Sonny: That's, you know --
Olivia: Not that that makes any difference. You know, the fact that Connie is going to be able to walk again does not give you a free pass.
Sonny: Well, there are no free passes, Olivia, you know. What you do, you pay for. It's just that I let myself forget that.
Olivia: Yeah. Wasn't very hard, I guess. 'Cause you had a second chance with Connie.
Olivia: Yeah. You lost her the first time, partly at least, because you were in the mob. So, second time around, you tell her you retired. Easy lie to sell because she wanted to believe it. But how long did you seriously think you were going to be able to keep that thing going, huh? Now, I know you were surprised to see her get shot on your wedding day, but you had to know that was going to happen sooner or later. You didn't retire, Sonny. You're as in the mob as you ever were.
Sonny: Who told you that?
Olivia: Nobody needed to tell me. I got all the proof I need lying right there in that bed. So you're as mobbed up as you ever were. The only thing we got to decide is who's going to tell your bride. Is it going to be me, or is it going to be you?
Carly: At least you have the good sense to offer to buy the Metro Court. That shows that you have excellent taste.
Nikolas: Uh-oh, do I hear a qualification in there somewhere?
Carly: Why would I sell? I love this place. I mean, I put a lot of work into this place, especially after the hostage disaster. Everyone thought the Metro Court was never going to reopen, and it did. And it's doing better than ever now.
Nikolas: Yes, that's why I'm so interested in it.
Carly: So what? You want to come in after all the hard work's been done? You want to cash in?
Nikolas: Yeah, yeah. That's kind of one way of looking at it.
Carly: Hmm. Answer this question. Why would I sell? And why would I sell to you?
Nikolas: Why not to me?
Carly: Because you're used to doing business in the abstract, big corporate deals. Hotels are a service industry, especially the Metro Court. You know, we have world-class accommodations with the feeling of being at home.
Nikolas: Do you not think I can handle that kind of personal interaction?
Carly: I think you want a new project like a kid wants a new toy. You're trying to take your mind off something else. What is it?
Marty: Excuse me, Miss. May I help you?
Nadine: I'll be just a second.
Carly: I would have to tell him.
Nikolas: I completely understand.
Nadine: If you could just move along, I don't want to draw attention to myself.
Marty: I can't allow you to spy on a guest.
Nadine: Oh, that's not a guest. That's Carly. She owns this place. And the guy she's with is a prince, like officially.
Marty: I'm acquainted with Nikolas Cassadine.
Nadine: Really? So how long has this been going on?
Nikolas: I'm willing to make a very generous offer for your shares.
Carly: If I were interested in selling, but I'm not.
Nikolas: No. Wouldn't it be a good opportunity for you to establish yourself away from Jax? And I don't mean to be intrusive, but Alexis did tell me that the two of you split up. If you sell out now, you won't have to deal with him during the divorce. And there will be enough liquid capital to go buy something else, if that's what you want to do.
Carly: When did you become so interested in my emotional welfare?
Nikolas: Am I wrong? Listen, Carly, in all honesty, I admire you. I do. I think that you're a very resilient, smart, strong woman. You survived Sonny Corinthos. That's no small accomplishment, given the events that have been made clear. I'm simply asking you to consider the offer and the opportunity it can give you to start completely over.
Carly: Well, you've given me a lot to think about.
Nikolas: Okay. I'll consider that progress.
Carly: And I will be in touch.
Nikolas: All right. Thank you.
Marty: Miss -- Miss, please stop. Stop.
Nadine: What do you think you're doing with Nikolas Cassadine?
Spinelli: While the Jackal is aware of the bitter conflict that the master sometimes feels with Mr. Sir, you can't ask him to betray his mentor.
Bernie: No, no, no. Betrayal has nothing to do with it. Look, all I'm asking you to do is remind Mr. Morgan that his loyalties lie with the organization. Now Mr. Corinthos, all due respect, can't expect Mr. Morgan to, look, both run the organization and follow his personal orders as well.
Spinelli: Yes, it is indeed this difficult dynamic which made Stone Cold reluctant to pick up the reins of power in the first place.
Bernie: Just remind him to think for himself. That's all. And put the organization first, not Mr. Corinthos first.
Spinelli: Perhaps the bernificient one has become our blind Tiresias and we all must listen to his --
Jason: What is going on?
Spinelli: You know, when blind Tiresias first issued his unwelcome prophecy, people wouldn't listen, and –
Bernie: Hey, look, I'm asking Spinelli to remind you where your loyalties lie and all that would be lost if you carry out what Mr. Corinthos wants.
Sonny: I'm glad you're here, Olivia.
Olivia: Yeah, now I know you're lying.
Sonny: Well, you're getting in my face like you did, you know, years ago in the neighborhood.
Olivia: You hated it back then, too.
Sonny: What is this -- I mean -- you been talking to Carly, haven't you? Is that what's going on here?
Olivia: I never said I would keep secrets, and I never said I wouldn't ask questions.
Sonny: I understand that you're acting out of love and concern for Kate, but I'm -- don't fight me. I'm not your enemy. We're on the same side.
Olivia: That's a load of crap.
Sonny: We want what's best for Kate.
Olivia: Everybody wants what's best for my cousin. That doesn't give us any common ground here, Sonny. Okay, see, the difference between you and I -- I got no problem telling Connie what she doesn't want to hear. You, on the other hand, you've been lying to her from the start.
Olivia: Yeah, you tell her you're out of the mob, then you go do some deal on the side. The deal goes south, and you let her keep believing that she's safe. That's how she winds up here.
Sonny: I can't undo what's already been done. The only thing I can do is make sure she's safe from now on.
Olivia: Her famous last words.
Robin: No, I'm not going to regret anything. I'm just sorry that I've wasted so much time as it is. And I want the -- just the chance to change all that.
Patrick: So you're not going to regret marrying me?
Robin: Well, maybe I'll regret marrying you when you leave all the dishes in the sink, or --
Patrick: Oh, is that right?
Robin: When I'm taking care of our little girl, and you mysteriously can't hear her crying in the middle of the night. And, you know, come to think of it, you'll probably regret marrying me when I'm being stubborn about ridiculous things or when I always have to be right. But as you wisely once told me, that's why you get married. So you can stay together through the tough times, and then you're even stronger than you were before.
Patrick: We've made it through some pretty tough times already without being married.
Robin: I just don't want to wake up five or 10 years from now and realize that we've drifted apart.
Patrick: You know what? That happens to married couples. There's no guarantee it's not going to happen to us, no matter how much we love each other.
Robin: Right. But if we make that commitment, then it's just one more reason to hold on.
Patrick: I love you so much. And I love you even more that you think you're giving me what I want, but the truth is, I was selfish and insensitive to push you to marry me. I wasn't listening to you then. I'm listening to you now.
Robin: No, you're not. If you were listening, you would know that I really want to marry you.
Patrick: It's been a rough night. I think we've both been forced to see how fragile life can be. And getting married might make us feel better right now, but -- but I think it's better we just keep things the way they are. You a single, strong, loving mother. Me a single, loving, dedicated father.
Robin: We can be so much more than that.
Patrick: Robin, you need distance to feel safe, to protect your heart. I know that. And I've got to try and respect that. It's because I love you so much that I can't marry you.
Carly: Nikolas and I were having a discussion.
Nadine: Oh, a private discussion right out here in public.
Carly: It's my hotel. I can have a conversation wherever I want.
Nadine: If you don't mind a simple observation, there are conversations, and then there are conversations. And that one seemed a little up close and personal. Not that it's any of my business.
Carly: You're right. It's not.
Nadine: It's just that Nikolas hasn't really mentioned you hardly at all. I mean, he's never even brought up your name, but you obviously know each other extremely well, so this whole thing has been going on behind my back. Not really behind my back exactly because no one's made any promises to each other. It's just that to come in here and see this after last night, I mean, this morning, and -- I've done everything wrong since I woke up this morning, and --
Carly: Nothing is going between me and Nikolas, okay? Nothing.
Nadine: Oh, I know what I saw.
Carly: What you saw -- he had a wrinkle in his collar, and it was distracting me, so I smoothed it out.
Nadine: Oh, I'm sure you did.
Jax: Well, well, I just sailed past Spoon Island. You were right. You have a great view of my hotel. Which isn't to say I'm interested in selling.
Nikolas: Perhaps you aren't, but Carly might be.
Jax: You didn't approach her, did you?
Nikolas: Oh, yes, why wouldn't I? She's co-owner. She has an equal say in what happens to the property.
Jax: You're unbelievable, Cassadine. You're like a kid who can't get his way, so you're pitting one parent against the other. Is that what you're doing?
Nikolas: Carly actually made a similar observation, but you're both mistaken. This is about business and nothing more.
Jax: No, this is nothing more than a whim for you. It means nothing. To Carly and I, we've put a great deal into the Metro Court.
Nikolas: She actually said that, too. But she didn't turn me down.
Jax: Well, she will. I'm not going to allow you to take advantage of her.
Jason: If you got something to say, Bernie, say it to me. Don't -- don't use Spinelli.
Bernie: I'm sorry. You just -- you listen to him. You respect him. And that's how important I think this is. Going after Karpov now would be a terrible mistake.
Jason: Well, that's the opposite of what you told me before. Didn't you advise me to take him out with a preemptive strike?
Bernie: Yes, that's when I assumed that a truce between you would be impossible. But you proved me wrong. Now, if you violate your own truce, there's going to be open conflict, and -- well, it's going to cost us money and lives.
Jason: Anything else?
Bernie: No. I overstepped. I'm sorry. It's just how serious I think the situation is.
Jason: I'll think about what you said.
Bernie: Thank you.
Spinelli: The bernificient one speaks from a place of deep concern, but the Jackal fears he is completely misguided. You must act on Mr. Sir's behalf.
Jason: You want me to provoke a war?
Olivia: Okay, here's what I don't understand. How -- how could you see Kate lying there shot and be thinking about going out and shooting someone else?
Sonny: What do you want me to do? Turn the other cheek?
Olivia: That's not an option? I think that would be the safest thing for everyone involved.
Sonny: I did that with Michael. My oldest son. I'm not his biological father, but that doesn't matter. I love him the same. I married his mother.
Olivia: Carly told me about Michael.
Sonny: I'm sure she told you a lot of things. Did she tell you that I promised to give Michael a good life?
Olivia: I'm sure that you did your best.
Sonny: Yes, I tried. Yes. But the business always came first. No matter -- you know, well, look, Carly and I fought all the time, but that little boy knew how much he was loved. But he had a lot of chaos in his life. One day he picked up a gun, and I lost it.
Olivia: You didn't hit him?
Sonny: What do you mean? I would never hit a boy. But I did get -- you know, hey, I said to my kid, "You pick up a gun again, you get caught. You better run." Make a long story short, that's what he did.
Olivia: Your son ran away?
Sonny: We got him back, eventually. And I decided I wanted to be a better influence in his life, so he wanted to spend a night with me. And so I took him to the coffee warehouse. Kate was there. Somebody shot at me. It ricocheted. Now he's in a bed at the Aftercare Institute in Manhattan.
Olivia: That's got to be hell.
Sonny: Yes, it is. And after Michael got shot, I could have retaliated, but I signed over my business to Jason because I wanted to get away from the violence. Turn the other cheek. And look what happened, Olivia. You see Kate? That's proof.
Patrick: Hey, how's Kate? Have you noticed any changes?
Sonny: Not yet.
Olivia: Thanks for what you did, Doctor.
Patrick: You're welcome.
Olivia: So, is she going to be able to walk?
Patrick: There's no damage to her spinal cord.
Olivia: How soon will she be able to wake up?
Patrick: It should be any minute. She might be a little disoriented. So, like I said, Sonny, I would be aware of what she was trying to tell me before surgery.
Sonny: Yeah, well --
Olivia: What was she trying to say?
Patrick: Honestly, I'm not sure, but it seemed important. It was something she wanted me to tell Sonny.
Spinelli: The Jackal is aware that Stone Cold considers Mr. Sir a mentor, and maybe even a father figure. But one can not avoid the potential for a deadly oedipal conflict, the shedding of blood, the dark power of --
Jason: You running a fever again?
Spinelli: No, I am quite well. Spleen-less, but well.
Jason: Okay, can you stop babbling about the Greek stuff?
Spinelli: It is relevant to the situation and indeed, a strong example of how a similar tragedy could be avoided. See, if Oedipus had just guided his wagon around that of his father on the road to Thebes, blind Tiresias' prophecy would have never been fulfilled. Oedipus would have never killed his father, however unknowing. Stone Cold has a similar opportunity to avoid a potential conflict, and by doing so, save himself.
Jason: So are you saying don't challenge Sonny?
Spinelli: Continuing to refuse to go after comrade Karpov could lead to Mr. Sir turning his wrath on you. And knowing you, you might not defend yourself. So just maybe if you bend to Mr. Sir's will, he'd be placated.
Jason: So are you saying I should do what's easiest for me?
Spinelli: Easy is a relative term.
Jason: Okay, if I give in to Sonny, I'm taking the coward's way out.
Sonny: I wonder what Kate was trying to tell me.
Olivia: I think the important thing is, what are you going to tell her?
Olivia: Starting from exactly where?
Sonny: Starting probably from the beginning, okay? This is, you know, that's what I always loved about you, Olivia, you never push too hard.
[Knock on door]
Mac: How's she doing?
Sonny: She's going to live.
Mac: Glad to hear it. Look, I know this is a bad time, but I need to finish up on the statements of the shooting from both of you.
Olivia: I already told you everything I know.
Mac: Sonny hasn’t.
Anna: Hi. There you are.
Robin: Hey, Mom.
Anna: So why aren't you ready? Because we've got to finish up shopping for the closet -- nursery.
Robin: Yeah, I know. I know.
Anna: Uh, what is it?
Robin: Take a wild guess.
Anna: Did you have a fight with Patrick?
Robin: No, no. No, we didn't have a fight. He's wonderful. He's sweet and reasonable and -- oh, yeah, by the way, he saved Kate Howard’s life by performing a very complex surgery today.
Anna: Wow. So why aren't we shopping, then?
Robin: Because he gave me the thing that I told him I wanted.
Robin: I asked Patrick to marry me. And he said no.
Sonny: I didn't see anything.
Mac: No, you never do.
Sonny: Kate was walking down the aisle. The wedding started. There was a shot, and she fell in my arms, Mac.
Mac: How about you? Do you remember anything since we last spoke?
Mac: So have you made any new enemies in the coffee business?
Mac: Have you received any threats?
Mac: Any deals fall apart? Any serious disagreements?
Mac: You're lying, Sonny. Which shouldn't surprise me.
Sonny: I cannot help you, Mac. What do you want me to say?
Mac: You know, it seems naive, but I honestly thought that after what happened to Michael, you would've been out of the business. Or at least you would've wanted to be.
Sonny: Do you have anymore questions?
Mac: Why bother, huh? You're stonewalling, which tells me you know exactly who did this and you're planning to retaliate on your own.
Olivia: Look, could you please focus a little bit less on all the ways that Sonny's wrong, and a little bit more on finding the person who is responsible for my cousin getting shot?
Mac: That would be Sonny. No? What -- what, you honestly thought you could have both, huh? A life in the mob and a high-profile wife? Kate had no idea what she was walking into. Which means Sonny Corinthos is doing business as usual.
Olivia: Seems like he knows you pretty well.
Sonny: I got some place I gotta be. Can you -- can you stay with her?
Olivia: I wouldn't be anywhere else.
Sonny: Can you do me a favor? If Kate wakes up, just tell her I love her.
Anna: See, it's very hard to keep track. I mean, first of all, you turned Patrick down over the P.A. system.
Robin: What an idiot. What an idiot. Me, not him.
Anna: And then you continued to turn him down every time he asked, which is quite frequently, apparently. And then, now he's stopped asking.
Robin: I know. It makes no sense, right?
Robin: But I was with Sonny today, and everything -- it just hit me. You know, how lucky I am to have an opportunity to marry someone like Patrick.
Anna: Oh, Robin. You don't know how happy that makes me to hear you say that, because really, I was beginning to worry.
Robin: Because look at all the time that I've wasted, being stubborn about the wrong things. And if anyone should know how short life is, it should be me, right? And I should be trying to live every second instead of trying to protect myself and trying to push away the one person that I should be holding onto. And I just realized, you know -- yeah, that the world, it's a very scary place. But that just means that I should hold on to him even more so, right?
Anna: Mm-hmm. You got all that from Sonny Corinthos?
Robin: Come on, I know you don't like him very much.
Anna: Oh, I am not in a position to judge him. You know, considering that I was in love with Duke all those years ago. But he is a very dangerous man, and I would hate for you to get close to him. Literally.
Robin: Sonny's done some pretty bad things in his life.
Robin: He's also suffered some terrible losses. I wouldn't wish his life on anyone.
Robin: But that's what made me realize how lucky I am to have the life that I do. I'm healthy, despite being HIV positive. I have a healthy baby on the way.
Robin: Patrick loves me.
Robin: The only thing standing in our way was me. Until today. And now it's Patrick. Although I can't say I blame him.
Spinelli: The Jackal fails to see how dispatching comrade Karpov could be seen as an act of cowardice.
Jason: Because I wouldn't be doing it because it's right or it's smart. I would be doing it because I want to keep Sonny as my friend, and I want to please him, Spinelli. We don't even have all the facts. If I go to war, I'm going to be hurting everyone. People who work for me, people who are close to me. So I guess it comes down to this -- either I betray them, or I betray him.
Spinelli: Perhaps in the event of comrade Karpov's demise, his associates would be too intimidated to retaliate. A conflict with Mr. Sir would be avoided. The attack on the fashionista would be avenged. Peace, or something close, would reign.
[Cell phone rings]
Spinelli: Nurse Nadine? Hmm. That seems odd.
[Cell phone rings]
Jason: Go ahead, take it.
Spinelli: 'Tis I, the Jackal.
Nadine: Spinelli? It's Nadine Crowell. Could you meet me on the Elm Street pier? Like, now?
Spinelli: Are you in dire distress, or in need of rescue?
Nadine: Well, not exactly. But I could really use your help --
Spinelli: The Jackal's in a meeting --
Jason: It's okay, go.
Spinelli: Are you certain?
Nadine: Well, yeah I'm certain, that's why I called.
Spinelli: Okay, I'll be there straightaway.
Jason: I appreciate your thoughts.
Spinelli: I hope my private meeting with the bernificient one couldn't be construed as insubordination of --
Jason: No, no, no, not at all. Talking this through makes it a little more clear to me, because I can't give in to Sonny. No matter how much I want to.
Carly: What's up? Marty said it was urgent.
Jax: Promise that you won't sell to Nikolas Cassadine.
Carly: That's why you pulled me out of a conference call with Montreal?
Jax: Yeah, he's playing us against each other.
Carly: You know, he made a pretty good offer, Jax. Why are you so upset about it?
Jax: Because he's taking advantage of you, that's why.
Carly: I'm going to try not to be offended by that comment.
Jax: No, no. He knows that we're vulnerable because we're breaking up. That's why he's doing this.
Carly: Isn't that what you do every day? You look for weaknesses in corporations that you want to acquire?
Jax: Yeah, but -- no, no, this is -- this is personal. Okay, the Metro Court is ours. We rebuilt it together.
Carly: I love this place. I don't want to sell out to Nikolas Cassadine.
Carly: I want you to sell out.
Anna: You've always been so cautious, even as a child. And I blame myself for that, you know. I mean, if I had given you more stability, then maybe you wouldn't be so afraid of the future.
Robin: No, you're an amazing mother.
Anna: No, not really. I did my best. But you're going to a whole lot better.
Robin: I'm not so sure about that.
Robin: One thing I am sure of is that my life, and my daughter's life would be better if Patrick and I were married. I just have to convince him of that. When he first asked me, why didn't I just say yes?
Anna: I don't know. But he loves you anyway, and you should be happy about that, right?
Robin: I mean, how did I create a situation where the man that I'm in love with and who is in love with me won't marry me to save me from myself?
Anna: I don't know. Maybe you guys are just trying too hard. If you just slow down a bit and stop second guessing each other --
Robin: It's karma. It's karma. He's doing this to me because I did it to him, and --
Anna: You just said you loved each other madly. That's something when you think about it. Right?
Robin: It's just so ironic. So typical of me and Patrick. The second he refuses to marry me -- I want to marry him.
Carly: I know, when you think about it, this hotel is like a metaphor for our relationship, right?
Carly: You didn't want me to buy in to the Metro Court, but I did anyway, and once I got here, we realized we could work together. We were strong, we were solid, even when Sonny tried to break us up. Remember the whole Corinthian marble mess?
Carly: We even stayed together when your brother blew up the lobby, and generated enough bad press to throw us into bankruptcy. But we were able to keep our heads above water, and we just kept swimming. It's really sad when you think about it, that we're breaking up now when the Metro Court is so incredibly successful, but you know, I guess that's just how things work out.
Jax: Okay, what does any of this have to do with me selling my shares to Nikolas?
Carly: Because it's your chance to make a graceful exit, okay? You can go on with your life, I can go on with mine, and we won't be tripping over each other.
Jax: Well, I don't want to sell.
Carly: Neither do I, okay? You own properties all over the world. I own the Metro Court and the Belle Maison. That means that these properties are more valuable to me than they are to you.
Jax: I've put just as much work into the Metro Court, if not more than you have.
Carly: I know that, and for a long time, Jax, we were able to work together, okay? No matter what was going on in our marriage. But you've made it abundantly clear that you don't enjoy working with me anymore. I feel like I'm being treated terrible. You feel undercut. We're both being disrespectful. Whatever, man, just cut our losses. You go your way, I'll go mine.
Jax: Nikolas is -- Nikolas is just doing this on a whim.
Carly: And you've never done anything on a whim? You wanted out of this marriage. I never have. This offer is your way out. It's a nice chunk of change. You get my best wishes and your freedom. Isn't that what you want?
Spinelli: Nurse Nadine, are you okay?
Nadine: Yeah, uh, maybe I shouldn't have called you. But it's an emergency. And probably not life or death, but it's really important. At least, to me.
Spinelli: Okay, but might I inquire as to what I can --
Nadine: The launch has already left Spoon Island. He'll be here in a second.
Spinelli: Oh, oh, the brooding prince.
Nadine: Yeah, exactly. Except he isn't always brooding, especially after last night. It's just after last night, I thought we had an understanding. And we do, it's just that what Nikolas understood is very different from what I understood. And I need to make him understand on a different level, that even though he has a butler and breakfast in bed and even after last night I've been -- you have no idea, you really don’t. Still, he needs to know that he is not the only game in town.
Spinelli: While the Jackal can somewhat follow your, well, somewhat circuitous, but not unsound reasoning. I'm still a little hazy on what nurse Nadine expects of me is all. What –
Jason: How's Kate?
Sonny: She made it through surgery. She was unconscious when I left. Dr. Drake said she's going to be -- she's going to be fine.
Jason: That's, uh, that's good news. I'm happy for you.
Sonny: Okay, here's what's going to happen. This is what I should've done months ago. I'm going to tell you what I want you to do. You're going to do it. 'Cause I'm taking over.
Patrick: How is she? Any changes in her breathing?
Olivia: Um, I'd say it's a little bit less heavy.
Patrick: Okay, well that's a good sign.
Olivia: Listen, do you think I have a minute to step out in the hall and make a call? My phone's not working in here and I don't want to take a chance of her waking up all alone.
Patrick: That's fine. I was going to ask you to step outside while I examine her anyways.
[Cell phone rings]
