Eli: You are not going to do this to me.

Trish: Do what? Make you grow up?

Chip: Can you just lower your voice so we can all discuss this --

Trish: Expect you to act like a father?

Anna: Can you help me out here?

Epiphany: Sure, lead the way.

Anna: All right. So, Elijah, what do you say? Would you like to go see the inside of a real live ambulance?

Elijah: Yeah, sure.

Epiphany: I think that can be arranged, if it's all right with you.

Trish: Of course.

Epiphany: Come on. You're going to love this.

Trish: Thank you. I know I shouldn't be doing this in front of my son.

Anna: Don't mention it.

Eli: Shouldn't have brought the kid here in the first place.

Anna: Could you just move away from Eli for one second?

Robin: Mom.

Eli: Thank you, Anna. At least somebody's got some bloody sense.

Nikolas: Well, of course I care about you. Haven't I made that clear?

Nadine: Still, it's just nice to hear.

Nikolas: Yeah, I mean, come on, when I was going back and forth with the surgery, you were the one person that I felt like I could be the most honest with, and --

Nadine: Well, I'm glad you could confide in me.

Nikolas: Yeah, and you -- and you helped me set up the clinic to honor Emily. Couldn't have done that without you. Not to mention what you've done for me personally. Yeah, you're important to me.

Nadine: Well, I -- I feel the --

Nikolas: So it's kind of like you're my sister, you know.

Nadine: Sister?

Monica: Well, you're just in time, actually. I am going home shortly.

Jason: That's good. I -- just wanted to see you here, and I wanted to just wish you well and tell you in person that I won't be able to come see you once you go home.

Monica: Let me guess. You are afraid that it would be too dangerous for you to be around me, right? Well, I have a simple solution for this.

Ric: This is a private conversation.

Claudia: Oh, my favorite kind. It's just so rare that I see the two of you together.

Sonny: You know what they say about curiosity?

Claudia: And the pussy cat. Oh, please, you're going to have to do a lot better than that if you're trying to threaten me, especially about my brother. I'd do anything for John. And here you sit, the two of you, brothers, ostensibly on opposite sides. It makes me wonder -- do you tell each other your deadliest secrets?

Eli: Oh.

Anna: Hey, back off.

Trish: I wish I could have done that.

Anna: My pleasure.

Trish: Watching it was almost just as good, and it's all I needed. I'm going to get my son now. The tabloids are going to love this.

Eli: Trish -- oh.

Robin: What's the matter, Eli? You feeling your age?

Eli: Oh, I think I broke something.

Anna: Let's hope it's your bottomless ego.

Patrick: Before we scrape you off the floor and boot you out of here, there's something I need to tell you.

Eli: You guys having fun?

Patrick: I would say as far as public humiliation goes, this is about as good as it gets.

Eli: You bloody sadist! Give me a hand.

Patrick: First of all, for every guy who is a father who is trying to do the right thing, who is maybe not sure what it means to be a father, shut up and listen.

Nadine: yeah, I've been hearing that my whole life. I remind people of their sister. It's just so condescending and unimaginative, and coming from someone who already is those things, it makes it worse.

Nikolas: Unimaginative? Look, what I said to you was meant to be a compliment.

Nadine: "Almost like a sister" is not a compliment. It implies that I'm not your equal. It implies that I'm not even a woman.

Nikolas: Nadine, I'm your employer. What do you -- what do you want me to say?

Nadine: So -- so I guess that means you can't take me seriously?

Nikolas: No, that's not it.

Nadine: Well, guess what? You don't just get to -- to dish out orders and expect me to fall in line, okay? Because I -- I am a grown woman.

Nikolas: I know --

Nadine: And I am most certainly not your sister, okay?

Nikolas: Okay, okay.

Nadine: So I want to go undercover or -- or put my life at risk or go dancing down Main Street, I am damn well going to do it.

Nikolas: Okay.

Nadine: And don't you dare say you think I'm cute.

Monica: The mob is not a life sentence. You can still get out.

Jason: I don't want to argue with you about this. Are you going to be okay?

Monica: Oh, I'm going to do one day at a time, and I'm going to make every effort to live my life as truthfully as I can, which is why I have a problem with the way things have worked out for you, Jason.

Jason: That's my choice.

Monica: No, actually, if you think about it, you didn't have a choice.

Jason: I don't want to -- I don't want to do this.

Monica: I know you don’t. I know you don't want to do it. I know you don't want to see the damage that Sonny has done, because to see that is just too painful.

Ric: I work for you, Claudia. I'm paid very well to make sure that your best interests are kept at heart.

Claudia: Yeah, forgive me if that doesn't exactly inspire confidence right now.

Ric: Any secrets that I may have -- let's say strategy for helping your fugitive brother -- I don't really you think you want me discussing that in front of someone.

Claudia: How do I know you weren't?

Ric: What's the point of this exercise?

Claudia: The point is my brother John and bringing him home safe. That's all I care about right now, and here you are sitting with -- with your brother, ostensibly the enemy, doing what, Ric? Am I supposed to believe that you buried the hatchet and you're bonding now after all these years?

Sonny: Well, you know, Ric wasn't exactly clear why he wanted to meet me.

Claudia: Maybe he thinks you're ready to turn against Jason.

Johnny: You barely touched the masterpiece I made you.

Lulu: I hate to tell you this, but --

Johnny: What? It is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You can't screw it up.

Lulu: Really? First, there's the choice of bread. I'm not a wheat fan. Secondly, there is the choice of peanut butter. You have creamy. You have crunchy.

Johnny: I don't believe this.

Lulu: And then there's the all-important peanut butter to jelly ratio. I still have some peanut butter in my mouth from the first bite. Everybody knows you're supposed to do at least 50/50 of peanut butter to jelly.

John: Eat.

Lulu: No.

Johnny: Eat.

Lulu: No, is that all you want?

Johnny: Yeah. Come on. You're going to eat it and like it.

Lulu: No, no! Okay, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine.

Johnny: Okay.

Lulu: No fair.

Johnny: On second thought...

Patrick: Whether you meant to or not, you have --

Noah: What's going on?

Anna: Your son is giving Eli some much-needed enlightenment.

Eli: Talking about -- Trish knew the deal going in. I mean she -- she wasn't waiting in the back of the tour bus with me because she thought I'd make a good father.

Patrick: You helped create another person, and there's no escaping that, and that person has a right to expect certain things from you. You can and should expect certain things from yourself, like getting to know who he is, figuring out what he likes, what he needs, expecting something of yourself. And I know it takes time out of your glamorous, fast-living lifestyle, but there's a reward in it. Raising a child is a privilege, and the fact that you're running away, abandoning your son, it's a direct insult to the other guy who's trying to do the right thing. You're exactly what women hate about men.

Lourdes: I knocked, and when no one answered, I figured no one was here. I was just going to leave a note, and -- awkward.

Lulu: I didn't realize that you had a key.

Lourdes: Yeah, I used to come up and water Professor Siegel’s plants. I am really sorry.

Johnny: So you were going to leave a note?

Lourdes: Yeah, Sal needs help with the compressor in the truck, so -- whenever.

Johnny: All right, I'll do it now. It's okay.

Lourdes: Joe's a great guy.

Lulu: Yeah, he is.

Lourdes: So is there anyone else like him back home?

Lulu: I -- I'm sorry?

Lourdes: His family, are they all into music, too?

Lulu: No.

Lourdes: Oh, so he's a -- a renegade.

Lulu: When I -- I met Joe, I didn't know that he was into music, but when I heard him play, it was like seeing into his soul.

Lourdes: So he's it for you? Wasn't there another guy?

Monica: You know, you have the luxury of distance now, Jason. You can see what you couldn't before, all that you walked away from to go and work for Sonny. You can see that your family loved you, however imperfectly, and that you had a chance at a whole completely different kind of future.

Jason: I just can't wonder about things that didn't happen. I made choices, and I have to live with those choices now.

Monica: And Sonny took a world of options away.

Jason: No, Sonny warned me about the consequences before I ever took the job.

Monica: And that's how you have rationalized it for so long. You've been telling yourself that Sonny is an honorable man, Sonny is a loyal friend. Well, Sonny has shown by his behavior to others and to you that he is none of those things. And Jason, he is not worthy of your loyalty.

Claudia: Loyalty is a funny thing. You know, people count on it, but it doesn't always last, and sometimes it was never there to begin with. I mean, take the two of you, for example. You're brothers. One might assume you have some sort of loyalty to each other.

Sonny: Well, loyalty isn't one of Ric's strong suits. That's the problem, see.

Ric: Well, loyalty is a two-way street. Otherwise, it's blind obedience, which some people are better at than others.

Claudia: What about you, Sonny?

Sonny: What about me?

Claudia: Are you loyal?

Sonny: Extremely, to those people who are loyal to me.

Claudia: That's exactly how I feel. If you're loyal to me, I can't do enough for you, but if you burn me, you're dead to me.

Ric: What is the point to all of this?

Claudia: The point is, how far can any of us really trust each other?

Chip: Have the limo meet us at the loading dock. I don't want anyone seeing Eli in this condition.

Eli: I hope you're not having any regrets.

Anna: Oh, me? No. You know, the only thing I regret was ever trying to get to know the man behind the musician you know, the real Eli Love. You're just a shallow narcissist.

Noah: You know, I think Eli suffered more brain damage than we thought in that operation last year. Otherwise, he'd realize that the groupie parade's going to come and go. He'll never find anybody quite as amazing as you.

Anna: Oh, thank you. I just can't believe it took me so long to work out what a loser he is.

Noah: We all -- we all fell for it, though. I mean, you know, when you see the guy putting all that energy and passion on stage, you think there's more to it. But people can surprise you, and where you found that stuff out about being a father, I'll never know. If you put that into practice, then you're going to be an amazing dad.

Edward: And I want Cook to prepare all of her favorite dishes.

Alice: Already taken care of.

Edward: This is going to be a very difficult period of adjustment for Monica, transitioning from rehab back to real life, so please don't pick any fights with her, okay?

Tracy: That is real life.

Edward: Just for pity's sake, just please be discreet, Tracy.

Tracy: Daddy, I don't have the time or the energy to coddle Monica.

Edward: You owe her this much. After all, you pushed her to the brink with that stupid lawsuit.

Tracy: She practically killed my husband on the operating table.

Edward: Oh, where is that reprobate Luke now anyway, huh?

Tracy: That's not the point.

Edward: The point is that Monica is family.

Tracy: Yes, and she tricked my brother into marrying her.

Alice: Shh, ix-nay on the ickering-bay. She's here.

Edward: Oh, what the hell do you want?

Scott: I want justice for my dead son.

Tracy: Really? Why are you here?

Scott: Because Lulu's on the lam, and I got a feeling that she gave you a call for help.

Tracy: Oh, the old Baldwin intuition, and that's never led you astray.

Scott: When I find out that Tracy is lying, I am going to arrest you for aiding and abetting. Do you want to go to jail for that worthless drunken Luke Spencer’s daughter?

Edward: No, we -- you never did a damn thing for your own son while he was alive. Why should you be playing the grieving father now?

Scott: You don't know anything about being my son.

Tracy: The son you didn't give a second thought, and now you're the great avenger?

Scott: You'll see. You'll see, Tracy.

Tracy: Well, it's too bad Logan isn't around to see too little, too late.

Alice: This isn't about Logan. It's about Mr. Scotty here using Lulu as a way to get back at Mr. Luke.

Edward: Oh, seems to me that she's got your number.

Tracy: Revenge for Luke taking Laura away from you?

Scott: This has nothing to do with that ancient history.

Alice: You're using this as an excuse to carry on your grudge.

Edward: Mm-hmm. It's abuse of office.

Tracy: I have a deal for you. You get out now, and I won't press charges.

Scott: Press charges? I'm going to send Lulu to prison.

Tracy: For what? She was taken out of the police station at gunpoint.

Scott: Then how come you're not more worried about her? She knew what was happening. I am going to prosecute her.

Edward: If you come here to hurt that little girl, I -- I –

Jason: I didn't realize it was you who took care of that stuff.

Spinelli: Well, the grass does not trim itself.

Jason: Be a little faster if you didn't do it one blade at a time, wouldn't it?

Spinelli: Stone Cold, it's -- it's not about getting it done faster. It's about being at one with each blade of grass, passing through the dharma gate, understanding without words.

Jason: Yeah, when Carly decorated this place, I -- you know, I didn't really understand why she put all this grass stuff -- I still don't get it.

Spinelli: Well, I can explain. It brings a natural element to help balance out the decor.

Jason: Well, thanks for taking care of it.

Spinelli: Perhaps it's because I'm in a calmer state after my communion with nature, but it seems the master is troubled.

Jason: Yeah, I went up to the rehab to talk to Monica to basically tell her that I'm not going to be able to see her when she gets back to the house.

Spinelli: Because of your new responsibilities?

Jason: No, because I can't do what she wants me to do. You know, I -- I want to help her, but I can't walk away from the business.

Spinelli: Especially at this crucial time and in light of the new disturbing information I've uncovered.

Jason: It's about Sonny?

Claudia: You claim to be out of the business.

Sonny: It's not just a claim. I am, cross my heart.

Claudia: And hope to die.

Ric: What do you want, Claudia?

Claudia: The Zacchara family is taking you at your word that this isn't just a ploy, that you're not biding your time to come after us, and you are the legal representative of this family, so we trust that you're always working in our best interest, doing your best to get John home safe.

Sonny: Let's just say for the sake of argument that I'm secretly still in the business. Why would I put in with Ric?

Claudia: Oh, because he's brilliant and highly motivated.

Sonny: Yeah, but we don't really like each other.

Claudia: No, well, you know what? Churchill didn't really like Stalin, but he still needed him to win the war. Now, maybe you got the idea that the Zacchara family would be thrown into chaos and vulnerable if Johnny were to disappear, and Ric here is in a unique position to make that happen.

Ric: You know what? These are all really interesting observations, Claudia, but I have some place I need to be. Thanks, Sonny.

Sonny: I don't like to be threatened.

Claudia: I don't recall making any threats.

Sonny: Well, you were dangling that you might tell Ric that I'm doing business with Karpov.

Claudia: I got your attention, didn't I?

Lourdes: Your parents must be freaking out.

Lulu: About what?

Lourdes: You moving to New York with this hot guy. I mean, Sal would hunt me down like I was some type of -- I don't know -- criminal. Does your family know about Joe?

Lulu: Yeah, yeah, they know about him, but I am past the age where they tell me what to do.

Lourdes: What about Joe?

Lulu: Joe is past that age too.

Lourdes: Is he close with his family?

Lulu: We don't really worry about what our family thinks. We are just focused on us and starting our new lives.

Lourdes: See, that's what's so weird. I mean, you guys move down here from Chicago, and you're about to start college soon, and I hardly ever see you leave this building. Now, I think Joe going downstairs was the first time he's ever left this apartment. It's like you guys are hiding out here or something.

Monica: Well, don't all knock yourselves out at the welcome.

Edward: Welcome home, dear.

Alice: So nice to have you home, Dr. Q. You have a seat right here.

Monica: Look, I was in rehab. Not an old folks' home.

Tracy: Well, Scott, I think now would be a good time for you to leave. You could go under your own steam, or perhaps we could enlist Alice here to try one of her signature moves. How about the "spinning impaler"?

Alice: Ooh, that's a good one. But I wouldn't want to upset Dr. Q.

Monica: Upset her? No, actually, it would make her day.

Alice: Oh.

Scott: Take it easy, Alice, all right? Throwing me out isn't going to do any good. Because all of you could be brought up on charges.

Monica: Whoo, happy days.

Scott: Except you, Monica. You see, Lulu was living here while she was planning Johnny's escape, so you're all guilty of aiding and abetting. All I have to do is call the judge and get a warrant. This is water.

Monica: Okay, Scott. Get your warrant if you want, but in the meantime, this is my house and you are trespassing. So Alice, I think you should go ahead and try out your "spinning impaler."

[Knuckles crack]

Scott: All right, listen. I'm going to be back. With a lot of police.

Tracy: Bring backup.

Edward: You'll need it.

Tracy: So, Monica. How's it feel to be back?

Monica: Like I've walked into a house of morons.

Nikolas: Any word on Lulu?

Lucky: I was hoping maybe you'd heard from her.

Nikolas: No, I haven’t.

Lucky: The Zaccharas, they're set up to get somebody out of town in a hurry. They'd have vehicles, they'd have money, they -- they'd have it ready and waiting.

Nikolas: I know, yeah. Well, if that's the case, then the odds are Lulu's safe. I mean, I honestly doubt that Johnny was really holding her hostage.

Lucky: Then why hasn't she called yet?

Nikolas: Lucky, because one reason is, you're a cop and she wouldn't want to put you in that position.

Lucky: I'm her brother. She knows that. That comes first.

Nikolas: What's going on? Something else happen? Huh?

Lucky: I was on the computer at the office, and I was trying to find a lead. Three, four in the morning -- I was fried, I was getting nowhere. I thought I should maybe lay down, so I found this couch in an empty office. You know, I just wanted to catch, like, 15 minutes. I'm starting to fall asleep as I'm lying there. As I start to drift, I wake up, because I feel like I'm having this panic attack. My heart is just pounding against my chest. Because I feel like if I -- if I let myself fall asleep, that I'm going to keep plunging into this darkness. I don't know. I just feel like I'm losing it.

Nikolas: No I wouldn't say that, Lucky. I think maybe you're afraid to lose more than you already have. Mom's basically gone. You lost your wife. Your dad's M.I.A. with a bad bad heart. Lulu's on the run. Your girlfriend's going undercover with a bunch of drug dealers. I understand.

Lucky: Sam, that's what's she's doing. She'll be okay. You're right about Lulu.

Nikolas: What about you?

Lucky: What about me?

Nikolas: Are you okay?

Lucky: I'm not the one that's being hunted --

Nikolas: Are you okay?

Lucky: Just afraid that we're not going to see Lulu alive again.

Lulu: Things are going to get a little crazy once I start school and Joe’s into the whole music thing, so right now we're enjoying the time that we have together.

Lourdes: This is New York, okay? There are millions of musicians trying to get work, and being good isn't enough. Yeah, Joe needs to put himself out there. Trying to get stuff.

Lulu: He will.

Lourdes: He's wasting his time and who knows what opportunities? He can't do this halfway.

Lulu: We can do this however we want.

Lourdes: If Joe’s going to have a real chance at making it, it's going to mean late nights and clubs and parties. Talking to the right people. He's going to need someone to hang with that. Not some clingy girl that's going to hold him back. No offense.

Johnny: All loaded up.

Lourdes: Thanks for helping Sal out.

Johnny: Yeah, glad I could do it

Lourdes: Linda and I were just talking about how you need to get yourself out there. Show the world all that talent and that killer smile of yours. Now, I know a couple people at some clubs that can set you up.

Johnny: Thanks, but I'm not ready yet.

Lourdes: Well, if you change your mind, just let me know.

Johnny: Thank you.

Lulu: That girl is trouble.

Nikolas: Look, I'm terrified for Lulu, too, but I also have a lot of faith in her. She'll make it through this.

Lucky: You're right. You know, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have this meltdown with you. I mean, you have your home life to contend with. A new clinic. It's been used to funnel counterfeit drugs and --

Nikolas: Yeah, right. Not to mention an overzealous nurse that wants to ride to the rescue all the time.

Lucky: What do you know about this Dr. Matt Hunter?

Nikolas: Oh, God, please tell me that you're not buying into Nadine’s suspicions, too, are you?

Lucky: You think she's wrong?

Nikolas: Well, I think that she's caught up in the drama of trying to prove something -- anything.

Lucky: Yeah, Sam, she's going through the same thing. You know, I admire the way she's putting herself out there, but this whole undercover feels -- it's not wrong, exactly --

Nikolas: No, I know, but it's not wrong, but it feels out of character for her.

Lucky: Right.

Nikolas: When Nadine -- this nurse -- goes on about her clues and theories, it kind of reminds me of the way we all used to be, you know? The four musketeers. You know, it really makes me miss Emily. A lot.

Lucky: You know, it's not the same. It's a different kind of loss. But I miss Elizabeth, too.

Nikolas: Yeah. She was the love of your life. You thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with her.

Nadine: Just keep that bandage dry and we'll see you in a couple of weeks, okay?

Patient: Thank you.

Nadine: You're welcome.

Matt: What the hell?

Nadine: Oh. I was just spot checking the meds. I figure we can't be too careful.

Matt: The meds have already been switched before they come in here. No one is sneaking in and --

Nadine: Switching them? That's what you were going to say, right?

Matt: Yeah, but --

Nadine: That's not what I was doing.

Matt: I never said it was.

Nadine: Okay, if you even mention this to Nikolas, I mean, if my name is even associated with the counterfeit drugs, I could lose my job. I'd be totally screwed.

Matt: I know that. And I also know that you don't need a raise. Nikolas just gave you one.

Nadine: Right. As if that even --

Matt: What? What?

Nadine: My sister was caught sabotaging the hospital to set it up for this big HMO takeover. So it took a long time and a lot of phony smiles before people stopped looking at me with suspicion, wondering if I was capable of the same thing. I think everyone's capable of something like that if they get pushed far enough into a corner, don't you?

Matt: Why are you telling me all of this?

Nadine: The amount of money they offered my sister -- I couldn't make that in ten lifetimes at this job. Not even with the money Nikolas offered me with this big huge raise.

Matt: What the hell are you up to?

Monica: If this weren't so insulting, it would be laughable. Water in the vodka bottle. What's in the scotch and bourbon decanters? Root beer?

Edward: Well, we just didn't want you to have to face temptation.

Monica: Do you think you can hide liquor from a dedicated drunk?

Tracy: You certainly became an expert.

Alice: Miss Tracy. I don't think that's the way --

Tracy: You're not paid to think. Monica, when you left, we found booze all over the house, in every water bottle.

Edward: Mm-hm. Do you know that Cook tried to put a fire in the kitchen and nearly burned down the house?

Monica: Well, Cook should have had a fire extinguisher. Anyway, it's my house, and if it burns down, so be it.

Edward: Monica, but -- we are your family, dear, and we are standing by you.

Monica: Well, then, stand by me. Don't condescend to me. Don't talk down to me or walk on eggshells.

Edward: Fine.

Tracy: Fine. If that's the way you want it. And how about you? Drop this childish habit of saying "it's my house."

Monica: Because it is my house. Alan gave it to me.

Tracy: And we're all squatters.

Monica: Well, basically. I have allowed you to stay here.

Edward: It is a family estate, dear, and like it or not, we are your family.

[All talking at once]

Spinelli: I checked Mr. Sir's offshore accounts and found money transfers from one of Mr. Karpov's holding companies. It is a most distressing situation. And you know, now that I've brought this information to light, I am worried --

Jason: You did good.

Spinelli: What does Stone Cold plan to do now?

Jason: Nothing for now.

Spinelli: Well, no doubt this betrayal cuts deeper in light of your mother's plea.

Jason: One thing has nothing to do with the other, Spinelli.

Spinelli: You turned your back on your family to work for Mr. Sir. And now must distance yourself further from your mother as well as Jake and Elizabeth, because running the mob makes them a target. All this, you did for Mr. Sir. And now he repays you by turning to the enemy. You may not say it, Stone Cold, but I will. Knowing your true nature, you deserve better.

Lulu: Either her crush has gotten dangerous, or she has the idea that we're hiding something.

Johnny: Tell me what she said.

Lulu: She wanted to know why we weren't leaving the apartment.

Johnny: And what did you say?

Lulu: Basically that we can't get enough of each other.

Johnny: Oh, so you were honest.

Lulu: She wasn't thrilled. I mean, I think she seriously wants to be the piano teacher's pet.

Johnny: I can handle a simple crush, Lulu.

Lulu: Oh, so you're used to girls throwing themselves at you.

Johnny: Hey. The one that I really cared out did just the opposite, remember? You pushed me away.

Lulu: Yeah, not anymore.

[Knock at door]

Lourdes: Linda? Joe? It's me.

Johnny: Oh, my God.

Lourdes: Are you up for giving me another lesson?

Johnny: Sure.

Lulu: Wow, okay. Guess I'll be making dinner.

Johnny: Go on. We'll pick up where we left off.

[Clears throat]

Lourdes: I hope you're not mad at me for interrupting, Johnny.

Patrick: Okay, so, what do you think?

Robin: I think you should call your dad and see what they want for dinner.

Patrick: Robin, what do you think about the patient?

Robin: I'm worried about my mother.

Patrick: That's all we've done, is worry about your mother. Your mom and Eli. What about me? What about spending a little time with the baby's father?

Robin: I want to do that, too.

Patrick: But?

Robin: But my mother at a dinner with your father, who happens to look exactly like you -- so what if she rebounds?

Patrick: We're not going to do this. We're not going to do this. We're not going to think about your mother and my father getting together romantically. It's not going to happen. So we're not going to do this.

Robin: You're right. You're right.

Patrick: You're right.

Robin: It's totally silly.

Patrick: Okay.

Robin: So.

Patrick: So, what do you think?

Robin: I'll be right back.

Noah: I think, in time, you're probably going to miss Eli and that rock star thing.

Anna: Ah, no. Not in the slightest. No. I swear. When they were wheeling him out of my life forever, I didn't even have the smallest twinge of regret. Nothing.

Noah: Okay.

Anna: Oh, my gosh.

Noah: What?

Anna: No. You know what I'm thinking? That last summer, when I was attracted to you because I thought you looked like Eli?

Noah: Yeah.

Anna: Maybe I was attracted to Eli because he looks like you.

Noah: Probably should say something noble right now. What the hell.

Matt: You've been dropping hints every single time that we talk, so if you have a business proposal, just come out and make it.

Nadine: How do I know I can trust you?

Matt: You can trust that I'm sick of being poor. And you can trust that I would love to get my hands on the kind of money that they offered your sister. So tell me something useful, or stop wasting my time.

Nikolas: Hey, hey, don't speak to her that way. Not ever.

Nadine: Nikolas. He -- he --

Nikolas: I don't care. It doesn't matter. You treat her with respect or you're done here, do you understand?

Matt: Yeah. Yeah.

Nikolas: Go.

Nadine: You totally blew it.

Nikolas: I don't --

Nadine: I was just about to get him to admit something!

Nikolas: This needs to stop. This is getting ridiculous.

Nadine: I was getting it all on voice mail.

Nikolas: Give this to me. No more investigating.

Nadine: Wait a minute.

Nikolas: Just leave Matt Hunter alone and stay out of trouble, will you? God.

Nadine: Oh!

Jason: I don't want to accuse Sonny of anything yet, you know? There's got to be something -- there's got to be something else going on. You've got to believe it. You've got to believe maybe he's getting information from Karpov. Maybe he's in such deep grief over Michael that Karpov's taking advantage of him. I don't know.

Spinelli: Perhaps -- with all due respect, perhaps Stone Cold needs to believe that because the alternative is too painful. That Mr. Sir, a man you once looked on as a father and a person you respected above all others is maybe not deserving of your loyalty. That he's truly betrayed you.

Claudia: Oh, that was a long and intense phone conversation.

Sonny: Were you spying on me?

Claudia: Oh, come on, it's not that hard to figure out it was Karpov. You should enjoy it while it lasts. Because sooner or later, Jason is going to figure it out.

Sonny: Jason's better off not knowing.

Claudia: He wouldn't be worthy of the trust you put in him if he couldn't figure it out. But see, I think you want him to. I think it's a slap in the face because he helped Carly take away your kids.

Sonny: I'm acting in Jason's best interest.

Claudia: Keep telling yourself that. When it sounds like revenge and it looks like revenge, baby, it's revenge.

Johnny: My name's Joe.

Lourdes: No, it's not. I saw the news bulletin. You're John Zacchara, son of mob boss Anthony Zacchara. You killed some guy upstate and took your girlfriend as hostage, except obviously she's no hostage.

Johnny: I did not murder Logan Hayes. It was self-defense, okay? But his father is the special prosecutor and he was trying to put me away on murder. I'm not saying that I'm a nice guy by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm no killer.

Lourdes: See, that's why I didn't tell Sal or anybody else. Your father killed mine. And if Sal knew the truth, he would put a bullet through your head.

Johnny: I know. And I can't defend what my father and his people did to your dad. And I understand if you and Sal hate me.

Lourdes: You're a good person. And you don't have to worry. I won't tell anyone your secret. I won't say that you're John Zacchara.
