Robin: Do you mind if I join you? The baby's really craving French toast.
Anna: You don't have to use the baby as an excuse. I'm not going to fight with you. Sit down.
Robin: That's good, because I wasn't sure that you even wanted to speak to me after what I did last night.
Anna: You're my daughter, and I love you. That being said, setting me up to save Eli from a staged kidnapping was not only unnecessary, but it was probably one of the more humiliating moments of my life.
Sonny: You got nothing to be embarrassed about, Max.
Max: Try telling that to Milo. He looks worse than I do. Oh, God.
Diane: Sonny, I cannot file these contracts without --
Diane: What happened to your face?
Max: Oh, don't worry. It looks a lot worse than it really is.
Diane: It looks like you've taken a brutal beating. Was this Karpov's men?
Max: Not exactly.
Diane: Well, please tell me it wasn't Jason's people, because a civil war even between gangsters is too horrible to contemplate.
Sonny: You seriously think Jason would set Max up like that?
Diane: I don't know. I certainly hope not. But in light of present circumstances, it might be wise if you actually discussed this with Jason.
Sonny: Max, tell her how you got hurt.
Max: I'd rather not, boss.
Sonny: What do you mean you'd rather not? You and Diane are involved and you always tell me you've got to be honest in relationships. Go ahead and tell her.
Max: It's just that I'm not supposed to talk about the jobs I do for you.
Sonny: Well, I will make an exception in this case.
Max: I really wish you wouldnít.
Sonny: Max, tell --
Diane: Max, just tell me.
Max: I got my butt kicked by a grandma.
Carly: I can't think of a better way to start the day.
Jax: No, no. I meant what I said last night. I'm not going to let you win.
Sam: Have you seen Lucky?
Nadine: Uh, not yet. When he gets here, I'll bring him back.
Sam: Okay, thank you.
Nadine: Isn't all this sneaking around getting kind of exhausting?
Sam: Yeah, a little bit. But I think it's going to be worth it as long as we can catch whoever's supplying the counterfeit drugs.
Nadine: So you really think this Karpov guy is behind it?
Sam: I don't know. I'm definitely not going to know for sure until I can check the freighter and see what the cargo is, but it really is the only lead we have.
Nadine: Maybe not. I'm doing some undercover work of my own.
Nikolas: No, you're not.
Nadine: Matt Hunter could be the key to bring down the entire counterfeit drug operation. As a doctor, he has access to plenty of medication.
Nikolas: So? The same could be said about anyone on the staff at the hospital.
Nadine: Yeah, but I didn't hear anyone else talking about illegal drugs on the phone.
Nikolas: [Scoffs] That doesn't prove that he's involved in distribution.
Nadine: Which is exactly why I need to go undercover, so I can get the proof we need.
Nikolas: That's ridiculous -- that's a ridiculous idea.
Nadine: How much do we actually know about Matt Hunter except for what he's disclosed on his fellowship application? We don't even know he's telling the truth.
Nikolas: Well, if that's the case, then the man's a sociopath and you shouldn't be putting yourself in danger like that.
Nadine: Um, Samís the one who's about go work for a Russian mobster.
Sam: No, no, no, no. I know how to take care of myself.
Nadine: So do I.
Nikolas: I -- I would prefer that neither one of you were involved in this. But I'm going to go ahead d guess that there's nothing I can do to stop you.
Nadine: There's nothing you can do to stop me, either.
Lucky: Shh. This is one sorry excuse for an undercover operation. I'm sorry, but anybody could have walked in and overheard you talking about the case.
Nikolas: Nadine and I, we're going to go up front and -- I don't know -- see who's coming and see who's going. Let's go.
Sam: I missed you last night.
Lucky: You know, I think it's time maybe we rethink this whole breakup plan.
Carly: You know me, Jax. I'm not going to give up until you give in.
Jax: Well, that is not going to happen.
Carly: Well, you're wasting your time to fight me because I see the way you look at me. I know you still want me.
Jax: Wanting you and wanting to be in a dysfunctional relationship with you are two entirely different things.
Carly: I wouldn't be here fighting for you if our marriage wasn't important to me. I know I haven't made it a priority, but that's going to change. And I am sorry if I have neglected you.
Jax: Look, I'm not insensitive. I know you struggled with what happened to Michael. But grief isn't the only reason you stay embroiled with Sonny and Jason. It's where you want to be.
Carly: This isn't about Sonny and Jason. It's not.
Carly: So don't make it out them. This is out us, okay? And I am not going anywhere until you believe that I want to fix this.
Johnny: Where the hell have you been?
Lulu: I was getting food. I told you.
Johnny: Yeah, I figured you were going to go to the hot dog vendor on the corner. I didn't know you were going to the grocery store.
Lulu: I got sick of takeout. How does chicken casserole sound?
Johnny: You're going to cook?
Lulu: I thought we could do it together.
Johnny: I barely know how to boil water.
Lulu: How did you get this far in life without ever having to cook for yourself?
Johnny: I had servants.
Lulu: Oh. Well, that would explain why you never do the dishes or make the bed.
Johnny: And what about you? When did you learn how to cook?
Lulu: I earned a sunshine badge mixing cereals together to make trail mix. And when my Grandma Lesley made meals, I licked the spoons.
Johnny: So you don't actually know how to cook chicken casserole?
Lulu: No, but I found the recipe in a magazine. Here. It has directions. How hard can that be?
Diane: Anna Devane attacked you?
Max: She thought me and Milo were trying to kidnap Eli Love.
Diane: Well, how did she get that impression?
Max: Well, we were wearing masks, and we tried to grab him as he got into his limo.
Diane: I assume they did this under your orders.
Sonny: Uh, well, Robin Scorpio is an old friend of mine. This character, Eli Love, was treating her mom badly, and Robin wanted this guy to see Anna kicking butt.
Diane: Specifically Max's butt?
Sonny: I -- wait. Max and Milo, they were just doing what Robin told them to do, because I told them to do whatever Robin told them to do. And Robin's happy. I'm happy. Now, I'm going to give Max and Milo a bonus, and they're going to be very happy. And right now, we don't -- we don't need to hear any lectures, right, Max?
Diane: That's easy for you to say. You're not the one whose face was beaten to a bloody pulp -- by a granny.
Max: It looks a lot worse than it really is.
Diane: Don't try to put a good face on this. Not that you could, because it's easy to see that you are hurting.
Max: My neck is a little sore.
Diane: Would a massage make you feel any better?
Max: You brought the table?
Diane: Of course. It's out in the car. Why don't you go start setting up while I finish with -- finish with Sonny?
Max: All right.
Sonny: You got a massage table?
Diane: Max appreciates it. You know, I just might get one as a wedding gift for you and Kate.
Sonny: Don't bother.
Diane: All right. Back to these contracts. You need to look them over and make sure that they reflect --
Sonny: Uh, Diane? Diane? Sit down. Does Jason know about my deal with Karpov?
Anna: See, there was nothing worse than a past-her-prime spy buying into a staged scenario designed to help boost her self confidence.
Robin: That wasn't the only reason I did it.
Anna: Well, I don't believe that you seriously wanted Sonny's men to kidnap Eli and -- and break his kneecaps.
Robin: That would have been a perk.
Anna: Yeah. But violence is never the answer, ever. It's a necessary evil in some occupations, however.
Robin: Okay. I admit that I wanted Eli to see you in action. Because I don't want you to think that being a grandmother changes who you are. You're still the same incredibly sexy, super spy that you've always been.
Anna: Thank you. I appreciate the thought. But it's unnecessary. You know, Eli may have bruised my ego, but I'm certainly not going to let him undermine my self confidence.
Robin: Good. Well, I'm sorry that I went overboard. I just wanted to remind you that you're my hero.
Anna: As long as you believe in me, I don't give a damn what Eli thinks.
Ric: I assume that this invitation means you're still on board with my plan to exonerate your brother.
Claudia: That depends. Are you going to tell Sonny that Jason knows he's working for Karpov?
Johnny: Can't we just cook these beans with the ends on?
Lulu: The recipe says you have to break them off.
Lulu: I don't know. Maybe they're poisonous.
Johnny: Well, only one way to find out.
Lulu: No, don't -- don't -- don't -- don't -- donít. If you get sick, I'm going to be stuck making this by myself.
Johnny: This cooking was your idea, missy.
Lulu: Yeah, I thought it would be fun to do it together.
Johnny: Well, the kitchen in this place isn't exactly built for two.
Lulu: The kitchen is small, but it has all the essentials.
Johnny: Except for counter space.
Lulu: It could be fun to improvise.
Johnny: If you say so.
Lulu: It is not that bad.
Johnny: You know, at this rate, I think we'll be ready to have chicken casserole for breakfast.
Lulu: Oh, my gosh. I will help you break off the ends. Just let me finish cutting up these carrots.
Jax: Okay, this isn't funny. I've a meeting to get to.
Carly: Okay. Let's go.
Jax: I'm not going to show up at the meeting with my wife handcuffed to my side, am I?
Carly: Well, then I guess you have to reschedule.
Jax: You know, I realize that you probably think that this is really cute and everything, but I have a lot of money riding on this deal, so --
Carly: What's more important, business or your marriage?
Jax: You know, one of the reasons our marriage is in trouble is your belief that because I don't ask you to leave the room every time I discuss business, you somehow think that my work is unimportant. And you couldn't be more wrong. So, you need to take this a little more seriously.
Carly: I was just trying to make a point that I want to be with you. I do think what you do is important, and I do take it seriously. And I respect you. And I won't keep you here against your will.
Jax: Okay, then un-cuff me.
Carly: I will. As soon as I find the key.
Ric: Since when do you care if Sonny and Jason are best of friends or mortal enemies?
Claudia: Karpov is the wild card in this entire equation. There's just no telling whether he's going to respect the boundaries that are being set.
Ric: Well, there's always a chance that Karpov could go back on his word. Take Sonny out along with Jason.
Claudia: Is that what you're hoping for? That Jason will kill Sonny for betraying him?
Ric: If that were my plan, would it bother you?
Sonny: It's obvious you don't approve of my deal with Karpov.
Diane: I am concerned.
Sonny: Concerned enough to tell Jason?
Diane: As you pointed out, our conversations are covered under attorney-client privilege.
Sonny: So you haven't told Jason?
Sonny: And you can't tell me if maybe, you know, somebody else might have said something to him?
Diane: Neither Jason nor any of his associates have ever mentioned the name Andrei Karpov to me.
Diane: Which means that there is still time for a full disclosure. PCPD visitor log indicates that you went to see Jason shortly before his release.
Sonny: I offered to help Jason. He turned me down.
Diane: Well, I'm sorry to hear that.
Sonny: You know, he's going to have to -- you know -- he's going to run the organization the way he thinks fit, and if I see he's making a mistake, I can't do anything about it. So he's just going to have to fix it on his own.
Diane: I just assumed that, had Jason been receptive to your overture, you would have told him about Andrei Karpov. So, with that objective in mind, might I suggest a meeting between you and Jason?
Sonny: No, no, no. Listen. There's -- there's nothing to discuss. Jason's doing what he thinks is right, and so am I.
Chip: Eli. We don't have time for this. Okay? We need to be on the road now.
Eli: I don't care. I'm not going anywhere till I see Anna.
Agent: Or you can call her from the bus.
Eli: She won't answer her phone. I have to talk to her in person.
Chip: If we don't leave right now, then you're going to have to deal with the fallout on this.
Eli: I don't care. I'm not going anywhere till I see her, all right? Epiphany. Is Robin here?
Epiphany: Dr. Scorpio's not in yet.
Eli: When -- when do you expect her?
Epiphany: Are you sick?
Eli: Am I sick?
Epiphany: Do you require medical attention? Because if not, I suggest you get your butt back on that elevator and stop wasting my time.
Agent: Come on, Eli. You heard her. Let's go.
Eli: Look, look. Robin's the only one who can convince Anna.
Epiphany: That you're an ass? I think that she's figured that all out on her own.
Eli: What is wrong with everybody? So -- so I freaked out that she was a grandma. She's obviously proved she's way more than your average grandmother. I mean, you should have seen her last night. She took down a couple of armed guards with just a couple of punches and kicks. She was -- she was incredible.
Chip: Yeah, and she made it painfully clear she wanted nothing to do with you. Now, let's get on the road, where there's plenty more groupies where they came from.
Eli: I'm not going anywhere without Anna, all right?
Eli: Anna. Uh --
Eli: I -- I want to talk to you.
Anna: I've heard everything you need to say.
Eli: No. No, not this, all right?
Eli: I want you in my life.
Nikolas: I understand that you want to help me. I just think there's better ways to go about it than digging Dr. Hunter for information.
Nadine: He's the only lead I've got.
Nikolas: Yeah. Listen. I want you to cross check the batch numbers to the drugs here at the clinic with the health department's list of placebos.
Nadine: They have been checked and rechecked. And for the record, paperwork is not my idea of helping.
Nikolas: What are you doing here? Your shift doesn't start for another hour.
Matt: Yeah. Well, I'd rather be here dispensing aspirin than watching Patrick Drake, God's gift to neurosurgery, cut a man's head open for no apparent reason other than just to satisfy his overblown ego.
Nikolas: Dr. Drake is an excellent surgeon. I doubt he would perform a procedure on a patient if it wasn't actually necessary.
Matt: Until you have gone to medical school and examined the patient in question, I don't think you're qualified to weigh in on the best course of treatment.
Nikolas: Oh. Well, as a -- as a former patient of Dr. Drake, I actually am qualified to speak on his character, as well as his skills as a surgeon, which I think are unparalleled. So instead of trying to compete with him, I suggest that you try and learn something from him. I mean, otherwise, what's the point of me paying you to be here?
Nadine: I bet right now you're wondering if working for Nikolas Cassadine is worth the money. Believe me, I wonder the same thing myself sometimes.
Sam: If you came here to warn me again that this plan is dangerous, save your breath, Lucky. I'm not changing my mind.
Lucky: I'm not trying to change your mind.
Sam: Okay, but you still hate the idea that I'm going undercover.
Lucky: No, it's that I hate what it means, us pretending to break up.
Lucky: I miss you.
Sam: It will be over soon. I promise.
Lucky: But I need you now. Especially with Lulu somewhere still out there with Johnny.
Johnny: Why don't I take care of the carrots and you go on bean duty?
Lulu: I'm sorry.
Johnny: It's okay.
Lulu: No, it's not. I -- we were having fun, and then -- then, I've got to go and freak out.
Johnny: Well, I have a confession to make. Peeling the ends off of beans and throwing them in a bowl isn't exactly idea of a good time. It's close. But why don't we skip that part and go straight to dessert. There's a great little gelato place down --
Lulu: I appreciate what you're trying to do, but we cannot hide from this forever. Eventually, the police are going to know that I'm the one that killed Logan.
Johnny: Nope, they're not. The police think I did it and they've got the evidence to back it up.
Lulu: One minute Logan was running at me and the next minute I could feel the knife jerking in my hand. That was the feeling of me killing him.
Johnny: Look, Lulu, you can't think about that.
Lulu: No, I can't stop! Killing Logan is like a nightmare that I can't wake up from.
Sonny: The only reason I'm working for Karpov is to keep him out of Jason's way. If I go public by stepping in, then it would imply that I have doubts about the way Jason's running the organization. I don't want to undermine Jason in any -- in any way. I want to just stay behind the scenes.
Diane: I don't doubt your intentions. In fact, I find them reassuring, as I'm sure Jason would if you would simply tell him.
Sonny: He has too much to worry about, Diane.
Diane: What if he hears about it from somebody else?
Sonny: He knows I would never betray him, Diane.
Karpov: Is Mr. Corinthos available?
Max: He's in a meeting.
Karpov: I hope our agreement isn't causing difficulties.
Max: I'll let the boss know you're here.
[Knocks on door]
Max: Andrei Karpov's here.
Sonny: Show him in.
Karpov: I'm interrupting?
Sonny: No, no. We were just -- we were finishing up here. This is Diane Miller, the greatest lawyer in the world. That's Andrei.
Diane: Mr. Karpov.
Karpov: It's a pleasure. You have excellent taste. I've always had a weakness for redheads.
Max: Uh, Miss Miller is a highly-skilled professional. That is, she's an attorney, and she's brilliant, and you need to back off.
Karpov: Do all your bodyguards speak without respect?
Sonny: No. Sometimes, Max has problems with boundaries.
Sonny: Thank you.
Sonny: Thank you.
Diane: Mr. Karpov.
Sonny: Max, what are you doing? Want a drink?
Karpov: Yes. Is everything in order?
Sonny: Uh, we -- we may have run into a problem.
Karpov: I'm very sorry to hear that.
Jax: Okay, first you stow away on my plane, then you sabotage me in the middle of a meeting, and now you handcuff us together. When is this going to stop?
Carly: When we're back together.
Jax: Handcuffing us together and pretending to lose the key, Carly, is not going to impress me.
Carly: You know, I'm serious; I have no idea where the key is.
Jax: Just tell me where you left it.
Carly: If I knew where the key was, we would be uncuffed by now. I don't know where it is.
Jax: Where did you see it last?
Carly: I -- I think right here.
Jax: Well, it's not there, is it?
Jax: So you must have moved it, because I certainly didn't move it. Maybe it's over here.
Carly: I didn't move it either. You know, what if it's on the floor? Oh!
Jax: Are you okay?
Carly: Yeah -- better.
Jax: I knew it; the whole thing's just a set up. Where's they key? Where's the key?
Carly: I don't know.
Johnny: I'll get rid of the knife.
Lulu: It's not the knife, it's what I did.
Johnny: You defended yourself, and I'm going to keep telling you that until --
Lulu: If I'm so innocent, why did you take the blame? Why are we on the run? Why don't we go back to the police and tell them exactly what happened?
Johnny: Why do we even have to think about this, huh? Right now, this minute, why do we have to think about turning ourselves in? We're here together, that's all we need.
Lulu: It's temporary, it's not going to last.
Johnny: Okay, so why waste the time that we have now? We're here, together, making chicken casserole. It sounds like an ordinary thing, but who knows if we'll get to do it again? So I'm going to enjoy every second of it.
Lulu: Snapping beans and cutting carrots for a casserole neither of us knows how to make?
Johnny: We'll make it up as we go along. If it turns out inedible, we'll still be together.
Robin: My mother isn't interested in anything you have to say.
Anna: I wouldn't go that far.
Anna: No, um, it's okay; I don't see any harm in just hearing the man out.
Eli: Would you excuse us for a minute? Thanks. All right, just -- I want to thank you for the save last night. It was -- it was amazing.
Anna: Happy to help. Is that it?
Anna: Well, it's just -- Robin's waiting for me.
Eli: I don't want it to end like this -- in fact, I don't want it to end at all. Look, I can handle you being a grandmother. I just -- I just couldn't handle you walking out of my life.
Chip: Eli -- we, uh, really, really need to be going here.
Woman: Not until you say hi to your son.
Nadine: When Nikolas asked me to help out at the clinic, I thought it would be a good way to make some extra cash. If I would have known he was so tight with his money, I would have just picked up some extra shifts at the hospital. At least there I make enough to cover my rent and help pay for my sister's medical expenses.
Matt: What happened to your sister?
Nadine: She got shot last year, she's been in a coma ever since. I found this great permanent care facility. But the cost is about to break me. Let's just say I could use some extra cash and fast, or we're both going to be out on the street.
Matt: Well, if I hear of anything, I'll let you know.
Matt: Yeah, no problem.
Nadine: So I was thinking actually --
Nikolas: I, uh, I gave some thought to your request and, uh, and you're right. You do deserve a raise. I spoke to payroll and, uh, you get an extra $2,000 a week starting with your next paycheck.
Nadine: Nikolas, that's --
Nikolas: No need to express your gratitude. You earn every penny of it.
Matt: Well, it looks like your money problems are solved. Wish it was that easy for me.
Sam: Hey, I know you're worried about Lulu. You should focus on finding her and not the counterfeit drug ring.
Lucky: There's a lot of innocent people being hurt. I just can't ignore that.
Sam: Okay, look, you out of anybody can be honest to me. And if I can't do anything else, at least I can listen to you vent.
Lucky: The longer that Lulu is gone, the worst the situation is going to get when she gets back. Especially now that Baldwin has put a bounty on her head.
Sam: Well, you're going to find Lulu.
Lucky: But what if I don't? What if I can't save my sister?
[Cell phone rings]
Sam: Excuse me, I have to take this. I'm sorry. Hello? Yeah, yeah, I can be there in 10 minutes. All right, thank you. I've got to go. It could be a lead.
Lucky: I have to get back to work.
Sam: All right.
Lucky: So just be careful.
Sam: Okay, bye.
Diane: Max, I never knew you were so forceful. Flexible, yes, but this is a side I've never seen before.
Max: Karpov is out of line.
Diane: You, on the other hand, were spectacular. Defending my honor and putting that chauvinist in his place. It was brutish and manly of you.
Max: You deserve to be treated with consideration.
Diane: And while I do appreciate the sentiment, standing up to Andrei Karpov might not have been the wisest of tactics.
Max: I don't give a damn who this guy is or how well connected he might be. I'm not going to sit around and let someone insult you like that.
Diane: Thank you, Max. You are truly a wonderful, wonderful man. But just keep in mind that I couldn't bear it if anything ever happened to you, especially because of me.
Max: I'm not afraid of Andrei Karpov.
Diane: It's his partnership with Sonny that has me concerned. Because if Jason were to ever find out, there could be an all out mob war, and you could get caught in the middle.
Max: Diane, Jason is not going to go up against Mr. C.
Diane: That's what Sonny is counting on. But Jason needs to start thinking like a leader. And in a purely professional sense, Sonny's actions are disloyal. They might even be considered overtly treacherous.
Sonny: Okay, I'm going to make myself clear again. I am not going to work with you if you interfere with Jason's business.
Karpov: I am abiding by the agreement.
Sonny: All right, um, the pier that I told you to offload the shipment is free at the moment. But that can change because Jason might need it for his own cargo. So we're going to have to re-route to another destination.
Karpov: That would put us behind schedule, but it will be worth it if this little detour ensures your cooperation.
Johnny: I hope you're hungry.
Lulu: Uh, I feel badly leaving you to finish the cooking when it was my idea.
Johnny: Not a problem, it turns out I'm a lot more talented than I realized. Close your eyes.
Johnny: The sooner you close them, the sooner you find out.
Lulu: Oh, okay.
Johnny: Keep them closed, no peeking.
Lulu: I am, but what is the big surprise?
Johnny: In a minute, you're going to open your eyes and see for yourself, but not yet. Okay, sit down to your left.
Johnny: It's just a chair. It won't -- all right -- open up.
Lulu: Aw, oh, peanut butter and jelly.
Johnny: I told you. I didn't know it, but I am talented.
Jax: How long is this going to take?
Locksmith: Well, these things can be pretty tricky to open; it's all in the design. Cops don't want your average criminal to be able to pick the lock and get away.
Jax: Oh, it's great. If you could hurry it up, I'd appreciate it, I have a business meeting to get to.
Locksmith: I don't blame you for losing track of time. I wish the Mrs. and I could be spontaneous like this.
Carly: We like to keep things interesting, don't we, honey?
Jax: Yeah, never a dull moment.
Locksmith: If I were you, buddy, I wouldn't be complaining. I mean not everybody is so blessed to have such a beautiful wife, with an appetite for adventure. I mean, you really are a lucky man.
Carly: Did you hear that? You are lucky to have me, Jax.
Jax: Yeah, the luckiest guy in the world.
Eli: I need a little help here, guys --
Agent: You know the deal, Trish. You come anywhere near Eli, you forfeit child support.
Trish: Go have a seat; I need to talk to your dad alone.
Robin: Hey, my name is Robin. What's your name?
Robin: Hey, I like that name. These are pretty cool, mind if I play with them with you?
Eli: You know, bringing the kid here and throwing him in my face isn't going to get you a penny more.
Trish: I didn't come her for more money; I came because Elijah wanted to meet his father.
Eli: Fifteen minutes in the back of a tour bus doesn't qualify me to be his father.
Trish: How can you look at your son and not feel anything for him?
[Knock on door]
Jerry: Mr. Karpov, I didn't expect to see you quite so soon.
Karpov: May I?
Jerry: By all means.
Jerry: Had I known you wanted to speak with me, I would have arranged to meet somewhere a little bit more discrete.
Karpov: A building not owned by your brother.
Jerry: I guess I like to keep my business ventures separate, Mr. Karpov.
Karpov: You seem to have quite a few conflicts of interest in this town. Your brother, the district attorney. How do I know you won't let them stand in the way of our arrangement?
Ric: Thanks for coming.
Sonny: You said it was important.
Ric: It still surprises me that you are actually willing to listen to what I have to say.
Sonny: That's one of the benefits of getting out of the organization. I have nothing left for you to exploit no matter how hard you try.
Ric: Well, I'll always be thankful that you were able to walk away from the situation that ultimately cost you so much. And if your fresh start gives us the opportunity to have a better relationship between the two of us, so be it. But if not, I'm still glad that you walked away when you did. Got to be hard, though, to be separated from both your boys, give up custody.
Sonny: I try not to think about what Carly did, I just, you know, I focus on what I have. A legitimate business. Kristina, whenever I get to see her -- Alexis gives me the okay. And a beautiful woman who loves me.
Ric: Is that enough?
Sonny: What do you mean is that enough?
Ric: Well, I'm just wondering.
Ric: I mean, are you ever tempted to get back into the mob?
Sonny: Are you fishing for information or are you offering me a job?
Jax: Thanks for your help.
Locksmith: All right, you two enjoy the rest of your visit to Montreal.
Carly: Okay, feel free, you know, to go get cleaned up and get ready for your meeting. I won't do anything to stop you.
Jax: I already missed the meeting, Carly.
Carly: I'm sorry.
Jax: I don't think you are.
Carly: Oh, Jax, I didn't mean to lose the stupid handcuff keys. I wasn't trying to sabotage your business; I just wanted you to admit that you love me and that you are coming back to me.
Jax: I haven't asked for a divorce, have I? I asked for a separation, and you can't even honor that?
Carly: Well, you didn't ask for anything, you just walked out the door.
Jax: Oh, okay is it --
Carly: And I was completely honest with you, about wanting you back. I'm not going to give up on us. So you know what, I'm going to stow away on planes, and I'm going to show up in your hotel room, and I'm going to handcuff myself to your side if that's what it takes, I don't care.
Jax: You have to give me a reason to trust you.
Carly: Okay, fine, tell me how.
Jax: You have to listen to me, okay, listen. Accept what I'm trying to tell you. This is the first stop on a series of business meetings that I have. After this, I have to go to Paris, then Hong Kong and Australia. And you can follow me to every one of those destinations, but it won't bring us closer together, Carly. Okay, I just need time to think things over, and so do you.
Carly: I don't need to think about anything because I love you, and I want our marriage to last forever. But if you need time to think and if that's what's going to bring you back to me, then I won't follow you.
Jax: No, no -- that implies a promise that I can't make right now.
Carly: Okay, you know what, we belong together. If you need to go away to remember that, then I want you to go. And I'm going to wait for you and I'm going to miss you. And if you decide to come back early-- I will welcome you back with open arms.
Chip: It's a little late in the game to expect Eli to step up and be a father.
Agent: Yeah, and not to mention the violation of the agreement.
Patrick: What's going on?
Epiphany: Eli Love just got a visit from his son and he's not taking it so well.
Trish: Face the fact that you have a son.
Eli: I never asked to be their kid's father, all right? How much is it going to take me for you and the kid to get out my life forever?
Trish: I'm not here for more money.
Robin: What kind of car is this one?
Patrick: That is a Pontiac GTO. And this black one right here, that's a mustang. Someone likes the muscle cars, huh?
Robin: This is Elijah.
Patrick: Hey, buddy, I'm Patrick.
Robin: Patrick likes cars almost as much as you do.
Patrick: Oh, yes, I do. I used to collect these when I was probably your age. See this one right here? This is a great car, this is a Camaro. Back in the day all the NASCAR drivers used to race this like all the legends, like Darrell Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt and Ricky Rudd. This car was so fast they changed the rules for NASCAR just so the other drivers could keep up. It's a fast car, Elijah.
Nadine: What's your problem?
Nikolas: Excuse me, what are you doing?
Nadine: I was this close to convincing Matt that I'd do just about anything for money. And you had to go and drop two grand in my lap. Thanks a lot for blowing my cover.
Nikolas: I thought I told you I didn't want you involved.
Nadine: Oh, I'm sorry; I must have missed the part where I take orders from you.
Nikolas: Okay, Nadine, in the off chance that Matt Hunter is guilty of anything worse than having a bad temper, I'm not going to let you put yourself at risk to prove it.
Nadine: Let me?
Nadine: Look, I know you are a prince and everything. But you cannot tell me what I can or cannot do. If I work Matt for information, you can't stop me.
Nikolas: The hell I canít. I'm not going to sit back and watch one more person I care about die.
Nadine: You care about me?
Lucky: You know, people are going to get suspicious if I keep hanging around my brother's clinic when he's not even here.
Sam: I know, I'm sorry, this couldn't wait for tonight. I got my first assignment; I am landing my first shipment for Karpov.
Lucky: Okay, when, where?
Sam: Well, he hasn't told me anything yet.
Lucky: Okay, when they do, you need to let me know.
Sam: No, no, no, no -- no cops.
Lucky: Sam, I donít.
Sam: I mean it, Lucky -- no cops. You cannot have any of your men bust the shipment.
Jerry: What you see as weakness Mr. Karpov, I see as a potential asset. You see, now that I am dating the lovely district attorney Alexis Davis, I have an inside track on the local law enforcement and what they're planning. We're going to have enough trouble moving your product through Corinthos territory without having the police complicate our lives further.
Karpov: As long as I have Sonny on my payroll, Jason Morgan won't lift a hand against me. Corinthos is my insurance policy.
Ric: Well, I would be thrilled to offer you a position with the Zacchara organization, but it's really not up to me. Anyway, I can't imagine that you would want to work for somebody like Anthony.
Sonny: No, no, I wouldn't want to. Any more than I would ask Jason to step aside. A deal is a deal, and I got out for a reason.
Ric: But you could get pulled back in, right?
Sonny: Jason tells me everything's running great, he's doing fine, he doesn't want my help, doesn't need anything.
Ric: How does that make you feel?
Sonny: How does that make me feel? What kind of question is that?
Ric: Look, Sonny, you took Jason under your wing, you brought him into this business and now it's his. Power like that changes people. I'm just saying that -- are you sure that Jason is still loyal to you? Or do you think he is going to eventually see you as a threat?
Claudia: I'm glad you're both here. I think it's time we get everything out in the open.
