Jax: You sure you're okay?
Carly: Better than I've been in a long time.
Jax: Nice to see you smiling again.
Alexis: It's a thrill to know that I can bring joy into Carly's life. Harper, can you please uncuff these guys?
Jerry: Yeah, if I didn't know you any better, I'd say you're desperately trying to hide your passionate feelings towards me.
Claudia: So, a sponge bath. They said a sponge bath is just what you need. It's not every day you get a sponge bath. Come on, Jason.
Jason: Don't touch me.
Claudia: Hey, sunshine, I need to do this. It'll probably work a whole lot better if you get naked.
Sonny: You know how much I love you, right?
Kate: Yes, but I don't mind being reminded. Gives me a chance to remind you how much I love you.
Sonny: I -- I don't make it easy, right?
[Sonny and Kate laugh]
Kate: Sonny, give me a romance without complications and I'll give you a very boring love affair.
Sonny: I just worry that the cost of loving you is -- is too high a price for you to pay.
Kate: Well, it's not your call to make, Sonny.
Sonny: But I can't ignore it. Who the hell do I think I am... to want to have a future with you when my future is so uncertain?
Robin: Don't get me wrong. You've been really great, rescuing me from Epiphany and my Uncle Mac. But you're a brilliant doctor, not a nurse, and obviously what I need right now is a home care nurse so that you can go out and do whatever it is that you need to do.
Patrick: Okay, well, if you want a nurse, then call the registry and order one. I don't see how that has anything to do with us moving in together.
Robin: Don't be silly. Come on. I mean, we both know we're not moving in together now --
Patrick: Why not? Why not?
Robin: Well, because, for one thing, I'm having a baby.
Patrick: We are having a baby, Robin.
Robin: We are not having this baby together. You have been very wonderful and supportive and --
Patrick: Okay, so you don't want to be the bad guy. So you pretend that you want me involved, but it's really starting to look like you'd be happier if you just went to the sperm bank.
Maxie: I really like it here. Get a little bit of the sun, a little breeze, work on your tan without feeling baked. And when it gets too hot out, you just go for a swim. I really like swimming. Don't you?
Johnny: I like it okay.
Maxie: I can tell the way you're built. I bet you're a really good swimmer.
Lulu: Oh, my God, I bet you think you're being subtle. Why are you here? This is private property.
Maxie: Well, I needed a chance to unwind after that hectic photo shoot at the Metro Court. And we are a team, right?
Johnny: We can go someplace else, if you want.
Maxie: I can see how you would want to run and hide. Wouldn't want you to get all hot and bothered. Lulu might get the wrong idea.
Lulu: No, we are not going anywhere. We were here first and I'm not letting Maxie ruin our afternoon. Besides, it's kind of fun watching her make a fool of herself.
Maxie: Careful, Lulu. With your delicate skin, you could brake out in some of those horrible freckles. I always like to use sunscreen, spf-15. Would you mind?
Claudia: They said on the phone the best thing to bring down your fever was a sponge bath.
Jason: I don't care what they said. I'm not taking my clothes off.
Claudia: Just your shirt. Okay, your motorcycle boots.
Jason: No, no --
Claudia: I'll wash your feet.
Jason: No, I might need them. No.
Claudia: Jason, what -- where? Why? Why would you need them? Where do you think you're going?
Jason: Who knows where I might go --
Claudia: You're not going anywhere. Look, let's get this straight, okay? I'm not doing this for a thrill. You have a great set of guns on you there and I appreciate a man who keeps fit. But I'm not going to swoon and jump your bones.
Jason: Just stay away from me.
Claudia: We're locked in here, Jason. I'm trying to follow the doctor's orders. I'm trying to help you. Why are you fighting me?
Jason: Just stay away from me.
Claudia: Jason, come on, it's just a --
Claudia: Or you could just drop dead from a fever. That works for me, too.
Spinelli: Oh, a million pardons. The Jackal was unaware the Vixenella was administering --
Jason: I want you to hack into the health department's computer and get this quarantine lifted. I need to get out of here as soon as possible.
Claudia: Don't even think about it, Spinelli. None of us is going anywhere.
Alexis: I let myself trust you last night, which was no easy feat, and now you have single-handedly proven what a bimbo I was. All that goodwill that you just built up is disintegrating as we speak.
Jerry: Okay, you're behaving as if we -- we did something we're ashamed of. All we had was sex. And damn fine sex, if I say so myself.
Alexis: And if you want a repeat experience, you will shut up.
Jax: Yeah, we all know why last night happened, Jerry. You took advantage of Alexis and that's it.
Jerry: Oh, come on, we're consenting adults here.
Jax: You know this is not going to have a happy ending. So let me give you some advice. Walk away from my good-for-nothing brother and cut your losses.
Alexis: I know that you love me. I really do, but you're kind of crossing a line.
Jerry: Oh, yeah, I'll say. I resent the hell out of this.
Jax: I don't care what you think.
Alexis: He doesnít.
Mac: Hey -- hey, are you planning on hitting your brother? Because I've got a department to run.
Carly: No, they're done fighting.
Jerry: Ma'am, would you be so kind as to take my brother home immediately? Thank you.
Carly: It's Alexis' life. She's a big girl. She's capable of making her own mistakes.
Alexis: Thanks, Carly, I think.
Carly: Really, it's not fair to blame what happened on Jerry when Alexis is just as responsible.
Jerry: There's no blame involved. All it was was sex -- fabulous, memorable, soon to be repeated sex.
Alexis: Could you say that a little louder? There's a perp in the corner that didn't quite hear you.
Harper: As long as money didn't exchange hands, I don't think we need to deal with it any further.
Jerry: I mean, you were quite brazen when we were behind closed doors. And now all of a sudden, you're all -- I believe the word is "repressed."
Alexis: I would prefer to think of it as discreet. But since you insist -- everybody!
Alexis: Can I have your attention, please? Last night, I slept with that man. That's all. Back to business, thank you.
Diane: Alexis, really. I'm saying this to you as a friend. Too much confession is not good for the soul.
Kate: Sonny, I don't know how you've kept your balance. Your life is suddenly unrecognizable. Michael's shooting, signing away your sons, walking away from your work. It must feel like your life is spiraling out of control.
Sonny: Listen, this is not -- I know what being out of control feels like. This is not that. It just -- look, I'm bipolar, right? And I'm taking my medications. I'm grieving for Michael. It hurts. But I -- but I have -- I have clarity now. I know that my life has to change. And bit by bit, I'm changing it.
Kate: And you're doing an amazing job.
Sonny: Yeah, and -- and you are part of the reason because when I look at you, I see possibilities. But then I wonder, am I just kidding myself?
Kate: But anything is possible, Sonny.
Sonny: Well, yeah --
Kate: Look at us. Where we're from, two kids like us, everybody thought that we would end up married young, a brood of kids, dead end jobs. But we didnít. For better or worse, we followed our bliss. We hit it big. And we wound up finding each other again.
Sonny: We missed a lot in between. I don't regret anything. It's just that... I know things would have been different. And I'm just -- is it too late for us?
Kate: Are you saying goodbye to me?
Robin: I'm not an idiot. I know you and I know that if I moved in with you with this child, that you would go crazy.
Patrick: You are so afraid to be proven wrong.
Robin: No, I just want my baby to have --
Patrick: Our baby.
Robin: Our baby -- I want our baby to have a great life, not to feel unwanted or -- or rejected or confused.
Patrick: I've spent months trying to prove to you that I want to be with you, that I want to try and be a father to this kid, that I'm ready to accept the changes in my life and try and make a family with you. The only one that doesn't want to be in a relationship is you. Now that you've got the baby, really, what do you need me for?
Claudia: Pay attention, okay? You caught a contagious illness from a 30-second exchange with the pizza delivery guy.
Spinelli: And the Jackal contends that the messenger of doom did actually get the order wrong.
Claudia: If you leave this apartment now, while you're still sick, you could endanger an entire city of people and --
Jason: I want her gone, Spinelli. Make it happen.
Claudia: You know what? I don't care what Spinelli hacks into. I'm not going anywhere until I'm told that it is safe to leave this apartment by somebody who knows what they're talking about.
Jason: Then I'll go.
Claudia: Oh, that's great, Jason. You're going to let the fact that you hate my guts, for no apparent reason at all, endanger the lives of an entire city? That's just -- you know what? That's just absolutely crazy and it's infantile and stupid.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, Vixen only wishes to alleviate your discomfort --
Jason: That's enough.
Claudia: No, it's okay, Spinelli. Thank you. Thank you. Jason would rather fight with us than get better. And you know why? Because your Zen master here, he has a really hard time processing the idea that being sick doesn't mean he's weak. And he can't get over the fact that it hurts his pride, that a word nerd like yourself and a woman are perfectly healthy. We seem to be immune while he's laid up sick as a dog. So he's taking it out on us. And it's just infantile.
Diane: I'm happy for you. I really am. And I understand why you might be feeling somewhat off balance. Because I too know the thrill of wild abandon after a long, prolonged period of abstinence. But, and I say this with all due respect, have you lost your mind?
Diane: What on earth possessed you to announce your one-night stand to the entire squad room? You do nothing to the credibility of women in the workplace.
Alexis: I didn't want to. He did it. He was going to do it. He forced me, backed me into a corner.
Diane: Okay, enough, enough. I'm not interested in your sexual positions. That's your business. But why divulge it to the rest of us?
Alexis: Because he was going to. I told you that he also accused me of being ashamed of what I did with him.
Diane: Well, are you?
Sonny: I would never want to say goodbye to you.
Kate: Then why all these regrets, Sonny?
Sonny: You know... I look back and I can actually point to the moments where my life has changed. And a lot of, you know -- a lot of the moments were with you. Like, you know, when you left me that night, when I wanted to run away with you and you didn't show up. When you came into my office and demanded to use the phone.
Kate: Right. And all the years in between. You had your kids. I had my spotlight. And yet, after all of that... here we are. We're together. Sonny, there's nothing to regret.
Sonny: No, no, I'm -- I mean, I don't feel sorry for myself. You know, I mean -- you know, regardless of everything that's happened, I have -- I have a great life. I mean, the coffee business is doing great, everything -- it's just that after what happened to Michael, I questioned whether I have the right to be happy with you. Maybe you deserve better, easier.
Kate: Sonny, we both deserve to be happy.
Kate: And you're a very good man. You're the best man for me.
Sonny: I never met anybody quite like you. And not just your strength and your grace, but... the way you know me, you know?
Sonny: Wow, uh...
Sonny: You know what? Without you asking, without ultimatums, something fundamentally has changed in me because of the way that you love me the way I am, right? You make me... want to be a better -- a better man. And I promise you that I'm going to do everything I can to be that man. The point --
Sonny: The point I'm making is this.
Sonny: Kate, I love you, right?
Sonny: Kate, I want to marry you. I want you to be my wife.
Sonny: You noticed that I asked you here because you can't -- can't run away?
Kate: Does it look like I'm running?
Sonny: If you can't say yeah, then, you know, I get it. No hard feelings.
Kate: Oh. Oh, really?
Sonny: No, I mean, I don't mean like that, "no hard feelings." I mean it would hurt me and everything, but I mean, it took a lot for me to put my heart on the line. So --
Kate: Sonny, I believe in fate. A spring storm drove me into a stranger's office. My phone was broke. My car was broke. And I stood there and said to you that my entire future depended on you.
Kate: Little did I know how true that was. Because here I am, ready to give you my heart, and once again put my entire future in your hands.
Sonny: Is that a yes?
Kate: That is a yes. I will marry you.
Sonny: Okay, well Ė
Maxie: I will never get an even tan because Johnny was too chicken to put lotion on my back.
Lulu: I'd be happy to slather you up, Maxie.
Maxie: Forget it. You know, if Spinelli was here, he would do it.
Lulu: Why don't you just go find Spinelli?
Maxie: I canít. He's in quarantine, duh.
Lulu: What quarantine?
Maxie: Oh, you don't know? I guess Spinelli forgot to call you. He was exposed to some contagious disease. He ordered pizza while he was at Jason's house and the delivery guy had some Asian something or other. Then the hazmat guys showed up and said that none of them could leave for, like, 24 hours.
Lulu: None of who?
Maxie: Well, Spinelli, Jason, and Claudia. Surprised your sister didn't tell you.
Johnny: She told me she was quarantined, but not where and with who.
Maxie: Spinelli said that there was nothing wrong with her. Well, I mean, she's not sick or anything. Jason's usually grumpy on a good day, so you can imagine what it's like being stuck in that apartment. Maybe you should go see if your sister needs some rescuing.
Johnny: If my sister needs my help, she'll call me.
Lulu: You want to go for a swim?
Johnny: Yeah, I do.
Maxie: You guys go ahead. I'll hang out here and hold the fort down.
Anthony: Who's this? Where's my son?
Maxie: Mr. Zacchara, hi. Johnny's actually taking a swim right now.
Anthony: What is that, some kind of code? Where is he?
Maxie: The Quartermaine boathouse with me and Lulu.
Anthony: I see. Whoever you are, tell Johnny that he can swim at the Quartermaine boathouse with his little blond girlie some other time. Right now he needs to dry off and get his ungrateful ass over to the Metro Court. His father needs him.
Diane: A night of mindless, meaningless sex is exactly what you deserve after everything you've been through. Ah, except it wasn't meaningless.
Alexis: I don't know how to have meaningless sex. I'm working on it, okay? Jerry says that I set myself up to be disappointed with men and that I set myself up so that my worst expectations come true.
Diane: Well, that would explain a lot.
Alexis: I'm a realist. Relationships don't work.
Diane: Well, certainly not with the men you choose.
Alexis: Kettle, pot, black.
Diane: Yes, but I'm happy with mindless and meaningless.
Alexis: You're getting married.
Diane: Not anymore. We have sorted all that out, thank God. And now Max and I are free to pursue our relationship unencumbered by the bonds of matrimony, a situation I might suggest for you and your psychopath.
Alexis: My psychopath said that he would protect my daughter and that I could trust him.
Diane: And you believed him?
Alexis: About that one thing, I do. Oh, God, I'm in trouble.
Diane: No, no, no, look. The situation is not completely hopeless. There has got to be an upside to crawling into bed with Jerry.
Diane: There has to be an upside. Okay, here's the upside. You are brave -- brave enough to risk your heart. Kudos to you, girlfriend. Push.
Jerry: Alexis is a grown woman. She's very much aware of my flaws.
Jax: I doubt that.
Carly: Jerry's right. Jerry and Alexis are adults. They can do whatever they want to.
Jerry: Listen, you don't even appreciate what you have. You have a strong, intelligent woman whom you love, who loves you back. Why don't you want to wish the same thing for me?
Robin: That's not fair. I love you and I respected what you told me, that you don't want to be a dad.
Patrick: For God's sake, Robin, people change their mind. People grow up. You learn from your mistakes. Five years ago, there's no way you would have thought you would have been pregnant. But here you are, and hurray for you. But what about a little respect for the rest of us?
Robin: Here's what I think. I think you found me on the floor and it scared you to death.
Patrick: Of course it did.
Robin: Because you love me. And I love you just as much. I am in no way done with you. I just don't want to be the reason that you compromise yourself. I mean, you are a high-powered, high-octane bachelor. Come on, the last thing you want is a live-in girlfriend with a little baby.
Patrick: You are terrified to count on me. You are so scared you are going to be disappointed you set the bar so low that you're not even giving us a chance to be a family.
Spinelli: Despite your best intentions, you are the daughter of one cold's sworn enemy, which is doubtless why he feels compelled to evict you from the premises and deny you access to his burning flesh.
Jason: Spinelli, please.
Spinelli: Though my master should maybe consider temporarily surrendering the moniker of Stone Cold for something more fitting to his current persona, like molten lava or hot rock.
Claudia: What do you say, rock?
Jason: That's -- that's real funny.
Jason: Don't hack into anything. We'll just have to wait till this -- this whole thing's over.
Spinelli: Okay, that is a great relief, indeed. The Jackal will now monitor your temperature.
Claudia: I wasn't kidding. Someone has to cool him down.
Jason: That's not going to happen.
Spinelli: Yeah, despite my longstanding camaraderie with my master, I do value my own life.
Jason: Yes, you take my temperature. Make it quick. Spinelli, could you just --
Spinelli: You told me I could.
Jason: Can we just --
Anthony: How's my daughter?
Claudia: I'm fine.
Anthony: I understand you're locked up with a very sick, vulnerable man.
Anthony: Jason Morgan rendered weak as a little kitty catty. This must be Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one. And you get to give your daddy the present. Guess what it is.
Claudia: Argyle socks.
Anthony: You're going to kill Jason.
Claudia: Why would I do that?
Anthony: Jason Morganís head on a platter is your ticket back into the family business. And because it would make your daddy very proud of you.
Patrick: I am sick of having the same fight with you.
Robin: But you wouldn't have even thought of having a family if I wasn't pregnant.
Patrick: But you are. And at least I want the chance to explore the possibilities. Bin, I might be good at fatherhood. Hell, I might be great. Why would it be any different than anything else in my life?
Robin: He said with modesty. Listen, I love you, but I don't want to be your test run at fatherhood. I mean, I was really excited about being a single mom, because then I'd know who I can count on.
Patrick: I think you have your head in the sand. You have this romantic idea of you and the baby taking on the world.
Robin: I'm just being realistic. I don't think you have any idea what it means to raise a child.
Patrick: I can figure it out. But you want realistic? Everybody needs somebody, even you. You can call a nurse. Or you can have me, the man who loves you, the man that you're having this child with, be the one that you depend on.
Robin: You're serious.
Patrick: I'm going to go to the kitchen. I'm going to grab myself a beer. I'm going to grab a couple aspirins, no offense. While I'm gone, I want you to think about what I said. Do you need anything?
Robin: Herb tea.
Elizabeth: Fifth floor, Nurse Webber.
Robin: Elizabeth, I really need your help.
Maxie: I love your boat. It looks so fast.
Lulu: That's what the big motor is for, Maxie.
Maxie: Any chance you'll take me for a ride?
Johnny: No chance at all.
Maxie: It's such a shame. We could have so much more fun. I've had hair extensions more interesting than Lulu.
Lulu: Oh, for God's sake, Maxie, we have tried to not hurt your feelings, not that you have any, but you obviously can't take a hint, so I'm going to have to spell it out for you. Johnny is not interested. In other words, go away.
Maxie: Okay, but only because I have to get back to work. Work, you remember what that is, right? And don't worry. I'll cover for you with Kate again, because if there's anything that I am, it's a team player, and since we're a team, any time you take an afternoon off to sunbathe, I get one, too.
Lulu: Nice try, but that's not why I came here.
Maxie: Of course not. I came by to give Johnny an eyeful of what he's missing. If that makes you feel insecure, it should. Bye, Johnny.
Johnny: Don't forget your towel.
Johnny: Why don't I show you how little you have to worry?
Sonny: What are you doing? Are you crying?
Kate: It's a good crying, so it's worth it.
Sonny: Aw, I didn't mean to make you cry. So here we go. Look at this. Now, I didn't want you think I was overly confident. Do you get what I'm saying? So --
Kate: Oh, Sonny. Oh, my.
Sonny: I mean -- I mean, you're not very -- you're not easy to, you know, buy a ring for, because you're such a big shot. You know what I mean?
Sonny: And you're who you are. Now, you know, if it's too flashy, I'll take -- I'll take it right back.
Kate: Well, yes, it's flashy, but I love it.
Sonny: You love it?
Kate: Yeah, there's a little bit of Bensonhurst still left in me, and I know that I should want something subtle and understated, but oh, no. I want something big and flashy to show how much I love you.
Kate: We have to take this one off first.
[Kate and Sonny laugh]
Kate: Hang on.
Sonny: What do you say? Uh-oh. Right.
Sonny: Wow, look at that.
Kate: It's perfect. You're going to make me very, very, very, very happy.
Claudia: It'll do you good.
Jason: I didn't ask you to cook.
Claudia: I opened a can of soup and heated it up. That's as domestic as I get. Come on, it's yummy. Chicken broth, that's all you had. What, you actually think I'm going to poison you, Jason? Really? Mmm. You don't trust anyone, do you?
Jason: Not you.
Claudia: Okay, I'll try to act offended. Wonder how Spinelli's research is coming.
Jason: I'm sure he's doing just fine.
Claudia: You trust him, right? He worships you, and you're sweet with him, in your own way. Maybe he'll find out something useful, like how long this thing is going to be contagious or when we can get out of here.
Jason: Maybe we can make it that you leave. You can leave any time you want.
Claudia: I don't want to contaminate anyone, but I'll be really glad to get away from you.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, a breakthrough. Remember how you ordered the Jackal to monitor Ian Devlin's offshore accounts, postmortem? There's been activity.
Jason: Have you got a lead on who Devlin is working for?
Alexis: Why is he still here? Jax and Carly have gone home. There's no reason for him to still be waiting there.
Diane: If I had to guess, I would say that Jerry is hanging around waiting for you to come out of hiding and face him.
Alexis: I am not going to parade my sex life around my colleagues.
Diane: Too late.
Alexis: What am I going to do? I just told the world that I'm having sex with a criminal.
Diane: Who convinced you to trust him.
Alexis: It was a momentary lapse of judgment. Listen, you go out there. Here, tell him -- tell him that he's got to leave. Tell him that I -- I'll call him.
Diane: All right.
Alexis: Some day. Be convincing.
Alexis: Why are you still here? Did she tell you to leave?
Jerry: There's something you need to know about me. I don't follow orders. I do as I please.
Carly: You know, you're lucky I'm secure. Any other woman would think your reaction to Alexis sleeping with your brother was pure jealousy.
Jax: You know, Alexis has the capacity to be deeply hurt, and Jerry's just the guy to do it.
Carly: Well, she's lucky to have you to defend her.
Jax: Yeah, she is, because my brother can't be trusted.
Carly: Hey, what if your brother makes Alexis happy?
Jax: Yeah, I don't think so. No, he doesn't -- he'll just revert back to his original ways. And by the way, he's dead wrong what he said about me at the police station, because I most definitely appreciate what I have.
Carly: And I'm the luckiest girl in the world, because I was the one you were waiting for.
Jax: Oh, yeah, you're so lucky.
Jax: What? What's the matter?
Carly: Oh, God.
Jax: You okay?
Carly: I feel so terrible and dizzy and nauseous.
Lulu: Wait, what -- what's wrong? What's wrong?
Johnny: I don't know. You said this place had bad memories for you. Come on, let's go for another swim.
Lulu: No, maybe what I need to do is replace the bad memories with some good ones.
Anthony: What's taking you so long?
Johnny: What are you talking about?
Anthony: I told the bimbo who answered your phone before that I needed to see you, so unless you've drowned, unwrap yourself from Lulu and get over here.
Johnny: Why? What's going on?
Anthony: Your sister is in a position to take advantage of a major opportunity that's going to benefit us all.
Spinelli: The Jackal does not wish to mislead. What -- what appeared in the computer is merely a clue. It may be nothing more than --
Jason: Stop, stop. That enough. You can go away.
Claudia: I'm kind of trapped here.
Jason: Well, go upstairs.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, there's -- there's really no need for secrecy. Someone made a withdrawal from Dr. Devlin's account and deposited it into a second numbered account. The Jackal, as of yet, has not identified the owner of said account, but it is possible that whoever it is has no connection to the shooting of the littlest mobster.
Jason: Who Ian Devlin did business with is a suspect in Michaelís shooting.
Robin: Are you still mad?
Patrick: It depends on you.
Robin: Well, I heard what you said, and I'm not dismissing it. I just think it deserves some --
[Knock on door]
Patrick: [Sighing] Oh, my God.
Elizabeth: Patrick, thank God.
Elizabeth: I knew Robin would be here, but you're even better.
Patrick: Better than what?
Elizabeth: I need a babysitter. My regulars aren't available, and daycare is full, and Lucky's working, Gram's out of town. But the good news is I'm only going to be for a few hours. Do you think you could help me out?
Patrick: Oh, I really -- that's not --
Elizabeth: You really would be a life saver. Got him?
Patrick: Elizabeth, I have to take care of Robin.
Elizabeth: Oh, please. Jake's no trouble at all. I've got food in here. I've got toys. He does need his diaper changed. Be a good boy for them, okay, baby? Thank you both so much.
Elizabeth: Call me if you need me. I'll be back soon. I owe you big time.
Jax: So have you been feeling nauseous, like, all morning long?
Carly: No, I think it's just low blood sugar. I was about to make myself something to eat when I got the call that you were arrested. I'm just going to make myself a snack, and I'll be fine.
Jax: Maybe we should go see the doctor.
Carly: Doctor? Well, it could be the flu, but I don't have any other symptoms, just slightly nauseous. That's all.
Jax: I wasn't really thinking the flu. Maybe there's a chance that you're pregnant.
Kate: We're getting married. That's the plan, right? Not some long, endless engagement.
Sonny: We're getting married.
Kate: I know, I know, I should be calm and cool and unruffled, but I can't help it. I'm excited.
Sonny: Everybody -- a lot of people get married, so --
Kate: Uh, not me. This will be my first, Sonny, and there are so many things to decide.
Sonny: Like what?
Kate: Where are we going to live?
Sonny: Well, I assume we're going to live here.
Kate: Well, you cannot assume something that big. I love my house. I got it the way I like it.
Sonny: Come on.
Kate: I have these friends, Ann and David. They live in London. They're fabulous. You'll meet them at the wedding. They have two houses on the same street. They live in one, and they entertain in the other. I always thought that was a fabulously decadent idea.
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, we can try it.
Kate: You see?
Kate: That is the vantage of being adults. We can be madly in love but still be practical. We can build a life together but can keep our assets separate, which makes me think of Diane. Do you want to call her, or should I?
Sonny: What will we call her for?
Kate: To draw up the prenup, of course.
Maxie: Hold the doors. Oh, oh. Oh, you. This should be fun.
Johnny: It's getting old, Maxie.
Maxie: You know, for your information, I didn't plan this. I had to go home and shower and change before coming back to work, which happens to be on the third floor.
Johnny: Can we go now?
Maxie: One more thing. I don't have to lurk around hotel lobbies or jump into elevators to get you to notice me. You do that on your own.
Johnny: You know, I really just want to get to the third floor, so you can get off here.
Maxie: You are rude and a liar. I saw you watching me all afternoon.
Johnny: Yeah, I noticed how rude you were to Lulu on purpose. There's got to be a reason for that.
Maxie: Um, she deserves it.
Johnny: You know, Maxie, at the overlook the other night, it did seem like you were halfway decent. You got it in you. You got to focus more time on that than wasting your time chasing me around.
Maxie: Looks like we're stuck.
Logan: It's never a good idea to swim alone, Lulu.
Lulu: What are you doing here?
Logan: You look good. The truth is, I've missed you.
Claudia: When did he fall asleep?
Spinelli: Just a few minutes ago. The Jackal has a request of Vixenella.
Claudia: Sure, what do you need?
Spinelli: Might you monitor the master's condition in my absence?
Claudia: Where are you going?
Spinelli: The Jackal must do further research and is finding it difficult to concentrate. A headache, no doubt arising from worry, tension, and lack of sleep, is starting to take its toll.
Claudia: Sure, go upstairs. Go get some rest. I'll watch Jason for you, okay? You just --
Spinelli: I must warn you, though. I fear the master's condition is worsening. Maybe a call to the hospital is warranted.
Claudia: No, I don't think so, Spinelli. If his condition changes, I'll call you, okay?
Claudia: He'll be fine.
Spinelli: The Jackal is most grateful, as would Stone Cold be if he weren't ravaged with fever.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Maxie: Getting back at Lulu would make me feel so good.
Jax: Why would you object to a home pregnancy test?
Sonny: If you think that it's a bad idea to be my wife, we don't have to get married.
Jason: Don't touch me.
