Patrick: Okay, so that's it. No more looking at each other's blogs.

Robin: Hmm. Maybe we should rethink that. The baby is going to be joining us in the next few months and I think it's a good thing to keep our lines of communication open, right?

Patrick: Right, yeah.

Robin: Right, so if we watch the blogs together, it'll be like really listening to what the other person is sang.

Patrick: No.

Robin: Yes.

Patrick: Robin, I really don't think that's a good idea.

Carly: Hey, come on. We're going to go on an adventure and it's going to be so much fun. It's just going to be the two of us. I don't think you can handle that --

Spinelli: May the Jackal ask where the Valkyrie and her fledgling are headed?

Carly: This is perfect timing, Spinelli. You're going to help us get there.

Sonny: You don't want to walk away because that's just because of the danger, the power -- I don't know. I'm giving that to you.

Jason: You're not giving me anything. You've decided that your life doesn't work for you anymore. It's too painful to watch your loved ones in danger. Seeing your kids surrounded by guards, followed by guards, wondering if and when they're going to end up like Michael. You don't want to do it anymore. I get it. I understand, but you don't have a choice. The danger is real, the guards are necessary. Leaving doesn't change anything.

Sonny: And you know this, why? Because it was handed to you from the man upstairs -- what I can't do, what I can do?

Sonny: Maybe this has something to do with your own life. I get out, have a life with Kate, my kids call me daddy. You're worried -- that Elizabeth may sleep with Lucky or some other guy and all Jake is going to know about you is that you left him.

Patrick's voice: Women are amazing. They can settle anywhere -- your apartment, your work, your car. That's just the way they think. And don't be foolish. It has nothing to do with you. It probably would've been easier living in caves back then. No expectations. Maybe that's why love was invented -- to build a common ground between the hunters and gatherers. Because that's what love does. It -- love is the glue, the concrete, the -- quicksand. Love is -- well, love is the baby.

Patrick: Okay, you know what? We already established I'm an idiot, so that really doesn't --

Robin: No, no, you're not an idiot.

Patrick: No, just an insensitive, arrested adolescence.

Robin: You can be insensitive sometimes.

Patrick: Go ahead, Robin. Keep going. I can take it.

Robin: Other times you can be wonderful and concerned and take really good care of me, which I appreciate a lot.

Patrick: You do?

Robin: Yes. You know, I'm glad that you vented. The truth is, I think I'm the one that's been insensitive. I have been so focused on myself and this pregnancy that I haven't taken the time to do what I should and take care of you.

Patrick: You should?

Robin: You're the one that had daddyhood sprung on you after you warned me a thousand times over that you weren't --

Patrick: Yes, but it's not like you tricked me into having this baby.

Robin: Right, it was an accident, but it was a happy one for me because I want to have a child. You get to have your own feelings on the subject. Now, granted, I wish you'd told me instead of venting out into cyberspace, but if that's what you need to do, then go for it.

Lulu: So, uh, how are we supposed to do this?

Johnny: Well, we go on seeing each other and we don't hide it from anybody.

Lulu: So your father can use me as leverage against you, and my family can totally freak?

Johnny: You did do a good job standing up to Lucky.

Lulu: Yeah, Lucky and Nikolas are worried about me. They love me and their concern touches me, but -- not that I love the idea of Lucky warning you away from me, but I know his heart's in the right place.

Johnny: Believe me, I know the feeling. Claudia has definitely got her fair share of issues, but she's loyal. She'd go to the wall to protect me. Lulu, if you ever want out, I will understand.

Lulu: I have made my choice. I am just wondering how we're supposed to do this. It's not a big secret that we're coming here to meet.

Johnny: I know. The house is full of security cameras. This is the only place we can go for any privacy.

Lulu: Do you think your father's going to start to suspect that we're double-crossing him?

Johnny: I'm sure he already does. Sooner or later we're going to come across some pretty damning evidence against him. And when we do, we don't do anything.

Lulu: Because it's a trap.

Anthony: We need to go over the situation with John and Lulu.

Trevor: Well, Luke left the country because there are money laundering charges pending against him. The Zaccharas, however, are not implicated.

Anthony: I don't give a damn about Luke Spencer. I'm talking about the girl and what she means to John.

Anthony: Why am I saying this with you in the room?

Logan: Why not? I can keep my mouth shut.

Anthony: Sure you can. Get out of here.

Trevor: All right, how many times I got to tell you? Don't threaten the girl openly in public. It's going to come back to bite you.

Carly: Morgan's in the playroom. I don't want to confuse him.

Spinelli: It is I who is most confused -- what --

Carly: I need to get Morgan out of Port Charles, start over somewhere with new identities.

Spinelli: You can't just up and leave your home and loved ones.

Carly: I was going to take a train to another state and try and figure out what I was going to do next, but this is way more efficient and definitely more secure if I have you do everything for me.

Spinelli: What exactly is the Valkyrie expecting of me?

Carly: I need you to find a town with minimal crime, no connections to Sonny. I need you to get identities for me and Morgan that can't be traced by anyone, especially Sonny.

Sonny: I know the truth hurts. Is that what's going on here? You gave up Elizabeth and Jake, so now you don't want me to have Kristina, Morgan, or Kate? Look, I have a chance. Just hear me out. I have a chance to be happy.

Jason: Happy? How can you be happy with Michael lying in that place? So you're going to tell me that you're going to leave this business, you're going to be happy with Kate, you're not going to have guards on Morgan or Kristina, and you're never going to think about Michael -- lying there?

Jason: We did this to Michael. We chose this for Michael.

Jason: The kid didn't have a choice about anything.

[Phone rings]

Jason: Yeah?

Spinelli: Stone Cold must come to the Valkyrie's aid at once. I fear she's about to embark on a most ill-advised plan.

Jason: Okay, I'll be there. What you do, you pay for. You don't -- you don't get to have a nice life. And neither do I.

Patrick: Some of what I said on the blog is true.

Robin: Thank you. Only some of it?

Patrick: Okay, I got a little bit carried away in some parts, but I was so focused on the negative that I didn't really talk about the positives, like, for instance, how much time we've spent together.

Robin: Are you sure that's a positive?

Patrick: Still the same people. Still have all the qualities that I love.

Robin: And the ones that drive you crazy?

Patrick: Anyhow, I've been questioning my assumptions lately, I think. Not that I'm in a rush to change diapers and start babysitting, but I think it's something I can try.

Robin: I'm not pushing you.

Patrick: I know.

Robin: I don't want you to feel pressured or obligated, or think that I'll be upset or feel abandoned if y just decided that you don't want to have any part --

Patrick: Robin, you've made that very clear. It's practically in your mantra, which is why I think I came up with this on my own. Lately I've been wondering what he or she is going to look like and what kind of personality it's going to have.

Robin: It's amazing, right? To think that this little person is going to be with us in just a few short months.

Patrick: Really looking forward to meeting he or she.

Robin: Me, too.

Patrick: I guess what I'm trying to say is it's not about running and screaming to the nearest bar or NASCAR race. It's about acknowledging the changes that are happening in my life and -- realizing that they're not all bad.

Sonny: Jason's refusing to do what I want.

Diane: Well, I'm sorry, Sonny, but if Jason won't take over the business, there's no way you can strong-arm him into it.

Sonny: He'll come around.

Diane: With all due respect, Jason made a very sound argument. Your enemies are still going to know who you are and where to find you and your family.

Sonny: Diane, there's nothing I can do at this point. I'm at that level. That's why I want Jason to take over, because he's great at what he does. He'll take over the business and that way nobody will have a reason to come after me.

Diane: Maybe Jason truly doesn't want to take over the business.

Sonny: Well, he's going to have to, because I've got to get out, Diane. I'm not letting Carly take away my sons.

Spinelli: Small towns with minimal crime are sprinkled like confetti across the continental U.S.

Carly: So pick a sprinkle. Just hurry up, please, Spinelli. Come on.

Spinelli: Does the Valkyrie have a geographic preference? Mountains, desert, lakes?

Carly: An ocean would be nice. A lake, a river -- I -- you know, the most important thing is Sonny cannot find us.

[Door opens]

Spinelli: All right. Ah, Stone Cold, your presence is most welcome.

Carly: I knew Spinelli would call you. Please tell him to stop stalling and get to work.

Spinelli: The Valkyrie has been exceedingly forceful in her demands and --

Carly: No, I just want you to get new identities for me and Morgan. And he can do it with his eyes closed.

Jason: Just hold on -- hold on. We need to talk about this.

Carly: You're not going to change my mind. Unless you can get Sonny to sign over paternity of Michael and Morgan, you --

Jason: You're reacting right now without thinking. You can't do that this time. There's too much at stake, Carly.

Carly: No, I'm trying to keep my son safe -- maybe even save his life, Jason.

Jason: Spinelli. Thank you.

Carly: You can't talk me out of this. I need you to help me.

Patrick: This scone's delicious.

Robin: Can you believe my mother brought them?

Patrick: No, your mother does not strike me as a scone and jam kind of woman.

Robin: She's not. I almost fell over when she showed up here wearing a business suit with a bakery box in her hand.

Patrick: She's obviously overcompensating.

Robin: Yeah, a little bit. Well, you know, she was in denial about being a grandmother, and then she went to the complete other extreme in some attempt to be supportive, but that is not who she is any more than you're a diaper-changing little league dad.

Patrick: Hey, little league might not be so bad.

Robin: Listen, it's okay. There are no pre-assigned roles here. There are no expectations.

Patrick: So it's okay if I don't know what I want yet.

Robin: Absolutely.

Patrick: I love you more and more every day.

[Robin laughs]

Patrick: I'm not quite sure how me and you and this baby are all going to fit together, but --

Robin: You know what the good news is? We don't have to figure it all out right now. We can just let go.

Patrick: Okay, yeah, you let go and not overthink. I don't think so.

Robin: Okay, let's be honest I will overthink this every single step of the way. But if we allow ourselves to just be in the moment, then maybe the future will take care of itself.

Johnny: You're a lot better at manipulation and dirty politics than I thought.

Lulu: Oh, are you afraid that I'm going to start to like it and double-cross you?

Johnny: I'm afraid that you're going to get hurt or worse.

Lulu: Do you trust me?

Johnny: Of course.

Lulu: Okay then, so you' trying to outwit your father, Trevor, Ric, and who knows who else, and you need help. I'm sorry to say it, but I'm all you've got.

Johnny: Okay, but you've never dealt with these people before, Lulu.

Lulu: Are you saying that I can't handle it? Luke Spencer has been a top-notch scam artist most of his life. I have learned plenty from him. I can lie and manipulate with the best of them, especially when it's for a good cause. And there is no better cause than trying to rid you of your toxic family once and for all.

[Knock on door]

Trevor: John, your father needs your attention.

Diane: Well, I have tons of paperwork to draw up. Not that there's really any point. This whole transaction is never going to come to pass. But the hours are billable.

Max: The boss has certainly been keeping you busy lately.

Diane: Fortunately, the courthouse closed at five, so I am free for the evening.

Max: That's good news.

Diane: Would you like to join me at my house, Max, say in about an hour? I could whip us up a little dinner and we can take it from there.

Max: I'd love to, Diane.

Milo: Weíre really busy tonight. Remember, Bernie wants us to plug --

Max: You idiot, shut up. You know that we only discuss business in hypotheticals around Ms. Miller.

Milo: Ms. Miller, please don't do this.

Diane: Do what, Milo?

Milo: Mess up my brother's whole life and leave him flat.

Jason: Carly, you're panicking right now.

Carly: Don't tell me that Sonny's convinced you if he walks away from the mob, Morgan will be safe.

Jason: I mean, it's possible, but I

Carly: Okay, fine, then you tell me that and I'm going to believe you. Can you guarantee me that if Sonny walks away from the mob that he'll never be a target again?

Jason: No, I canít.

Carly: Can you guarantee me that Morgan will be safe if he's ever near Sonny?

Jason: No, I canít.

Carly: Then the only way to keep Morgan away from Sonny is to run.

Jason: "Run" means you're going to go into hiding, which is going to change your life forever.

Carly: But it will keep Morgan safe and alive.

Jason: What about Jax?

Carly: Jax left, okay? He left me. He's had enough and I canít say that I blame him. But the point is, he's gone.

Jason: All right, but you say you love him so much, he loves you -- you don't think he's going to come back?

Carly: I don't know. I don't know. Maybe. But Jax made a choice and now I have to choose to protect my son.

Spinelli: Brave Maximista, the Jackal seeks your sage advice.

Maxie: Spinelli, I'm really sorry, but I'm on a crazy deadline.

Spinelli: I understand. Perhaps another time.

Maxie: Wait, wait. Okay -- okay, I've rolled all the calls to voicemail. Quick, tell me what's wrong.

Spinelli: Lives are being torn asunder while the Jackal is forced to watch helplessly while others spin away from their center --

Maxie: I don't understand when you talk to me like that.

Spinelli: Okay, when young Michael was shot, Maximista warned the Jackal that the loss of a child could pull even the closest family apart.

Maxie: Carly and Sonny are fighting?

Spinelli: The Valkyrie, Mr. Sir, and Stone Cold are all in extreme disagreement. It's most painful to witness.

Maxie: Well, Michael's in a permanent coma. I mean, I could imagine how angry and hopeless they feel. It's got to be even worse than Georgie. I mean, Michael's still alive. And even though you know there's no hope, you're still waiting for a miracle and you can't ever completely let go.

Spinelli: Yeah, it is a tragedy for all, but rather than seeking solace in each other they're dealing with their loss in their own highly contradictory ways. I wish to help, but I don't know how.

Maxie: Well, I told you, when people are upset they do dumb and self-destructive things. Trust me, that's why I told you there's really nothing you could do.

Spinelli: They're making such egregious mistakes.

Maxie: Spinelli, thatís so sweet that you want to help them, but Sonny and Carly and Jason and Jax -- they're really going to have to figure this out on their own.

[Elevator opens]

Spinelli: Perhaps there is something the Jackal can accomplish after all.

Sonny: Maxie, did --

Spinelli: Mr. Sir, may I have a word?

Sonny: No, no, no.

Spinelli: Young Michael's condition is a tragedy for all who love him, but in order to protect your second --

Sonny: Don't talk -- don't talk about my children.

Spinelli: I'm just saying it might make sense to renounce paternity.

Maxie: Sonny!

Sonny: I told you not --

Maxie: Stop! You're hurting him!

Sonny: To talk about my kids.

Maxie: Let him go. Kate!

Kate: Sonny, stop!

Kate: Sonny, Sonny, let him go.

Maxie: I can't believe you. You were hurting him.

Sonny: Can you just get him out of here?

Maxie: Look, I get that you're some big, bad crime lord, but Spinelli was just making a suggestion, that's all. You didn't have to attack him.

Kate: Maxie, why don't you take Spinelli home? Make sure he's not injured.

Maxie: You didn't beat up Spinelli because he was wrong. You beat him up because you knew he was right. That doesn't change a thing.

Kate: Maxie, Maxie.

Maxie: I'm leaving.

Sonny: Max --

Maxie: Oh! Come on.

Kate: So why on earth did you attack that boy?

Sonny: Because that boy said something about my children, and I lost it.

Kate: And that's your excuse for flying out of control?

Sonny: Well, the thing is that I'm sick of hearing people telling me that I don't love Morgan or Kristina and that I'm a bad father and, you know, it just goes down the line, so --

Kate: Sonny, Sonny, Sonny, I understand you're grieving. It doesn't give you the right to take it out on an innocent bystander.

Sonny: You're right. I agree with you. I shouldn't -- that should've never happened, ever. And I'm sorry. And what happened to Michael should've never happened, and I'm sorry about that, too. But I'm a good father and I love my children, and whoever says different can go to hell.

Milo: Ms. Miller, I don't know if you're --

Max: I'm telling you, Milo, stay out of this.

Diane: Max, Max, it's fine. Your brother's obviously very concerned about your welfare. Look, Milo, no, I am not just flirting with Max. I happen to hold him in very high regard.

Milo: Then do right by him.

Max: Do you want your head in a hammerlock?

Milo: No, I donít.

Diane: Gentlemen, please, no fisticuffs on my account.

Milo: You were -- you're the best lawyer the boss has ever had, and if, you know, you mess up because of Max, Sonny's going to fire him.

Diane: My association with Max has nothing to do with my professional competence.

Max: You can shut up now, Milo.

Milo: What about Max? He gets so distracted by you that he makes the mistake.

Max: I'm not making any mistakes.

Diane: Right, look, Milo, I appreciate your concern, but Max is perfectly capable of making his own choices.

Milo: Uh -- okay, Ms. Miller. I'm just saying that Max has got --

Max: No, you're not saying zip okay? Just sit down, and shut up, for once, please. Sorry.

Diane: Why don't you tend to whatever hypothetical business Bernie has you doing, and then you come meet me at my house?

Max: I'll be there.

Diane: And I'll be waiting, breathlessly.

Max: Bye.

Milo: It would've been so much better --

Max: You idiot!

Johnny: My father sent you down here to pull me away from Lulu? Did he demote you from attorney to chaperone?

Trevor: John, I warned you, he's going to exploit all of your weaknesses and use them against you.

Johnny: Lulu's not a weakness.

Trevor: No, she is an infatuation, and he's going to use her. Now that you're out in the open, youíre playing right into his hands.

Johnny: I can handle my father.

Trevor: Lulu, the best thing that you could do is disappear. Should you want to do that ever, call me. I can help you.

Lulu: Or I could tell Anthony that you're going behind his back.

Trevor: John, I'm doing everything I can to protect you. You got to trust someone.

Johnny: I know exactly who to trust, Trevor.

Trevor: All right, you want to report me? You want to report me to Anthony, go ahead. I think that I've got a little bit more credibility than you do, Miss Lulu Spencer. Johnny, come on. Your father's waiting for you.

Johnny: Call me.

Lulu: Yeah.

Jason: Are you prepared to leave Michael?

Carly: I think about Michael every second of every day. Nothing else I can do for him. I can just go visit, Jason.

Jason: If you and Morgan are going to go into hiding, you know Sonny's going to have men watching Michael.

Carly: I knew you'd do this. You'd try everything you could just to talk me out of it.

Jason: No, I'm just trying to make you think it through. If you go into hiding, you are going to have to leave Michael behind.

Carly: Michael would want me to do what's best for his brother.

Jason: I don't think running is what's best for Morgan. Or you.

Logan: I saw Johnny and Trevor crossing the lawn. I just came to investigate.

Lulu: Yeah, you found me.

Logan: Is Johnny here with you?

Lulu: Yeah.

Logan: So no more flirting, huh? You and Johnny are sleeping together.

Anthony: That was quick. How'd you find them so easily?

Trevor: Your son is meeting Lulu in the garden shed.

Anthony: You got a whole house at your disposal. Why smuggle your girlfriend in with the potted plants and fertilizers?

Johnny: I like my privacy.

Anthony: I don't like your attitude. Show some respect.

Johnny: I do.

Anthony: You don't know the meaning of the word, and neither does your girlfriend. Lulu showed up here this morning making a lot of wild accusations about me framing her father.

John: Did you?

Anthony: That's that attitude again. It concerns me. I'm starting to think Miss Lulu could be a bad influence.

Johnny: If Lulu's causing problems for you, then maybe I should stop seeing her.

Maxie: Are you dizzy?

Spinelli: Jackal's balance is a tad off kilter.

Maxie: I probably should have paid a little more attention in the training course for the hospital volunteers.

Spinelli: Maximista should be commended for her -- for her acts of mercy.

Maxie: Oh, please -- oh! Georgie's really the one who made me do it. It was mostly to prove to Mac that I was semi-responsible. Come on. Here, you should lie down.

Spinelli: The Jackal assumed that you'd be returning me to casa de Stone Cold.

Maxie: Yeah, and if I stayed the night at Jason's house, my dad would have a stroke, so you're just going to have to stay here.

Spinelli: Here?

Maxie: Yeah, don't worry. I'll take care of you.

Spinelli: That would be exceedingly pleasant.

Maxie: Okay, well, is there anything you would like? Some water, a soda? I might even have some potato chips.

Spinelli: The Jackal is most contented at the moment.

Maxie: Okay.

Spinelli: Thank you.

Maxie: Spinelli, look into my eyes. Okay, your pupils are evenly dilated, which probably means you don't have a concussion so far.

Spinelli: Excellent news.

Maxie: Man, Sonny. What a bully.

Spinelli: Young Michael is a sensitive subject for Mr. Sir.

Maxie: Yeah, it's just, Sonny's such an angry guy, and he has a colossal ego, and you put those two together -- boom, loose cannon. You probably should have factored that in before you tried to talk to him, but it's okay. I will help you work on your people skills.

Spinelli: Maximista's assistance is always much appreciated.

Maxie: Why do you look so tense?

Spinelli: Perhaps a touch of posttraumatic stress?

Maxie: Here, you should try to relax. Scoot forward. You know, I was really amazed at your bravery. You were so worried about Jason and Sonny and Carly and what you could do to help, which was really sweet, and then in walks Sonny, baddest of the bad, and you just stood right up to him and told him exactly what you thought. That was so courageous.

Spinelli: Yeah, well, I had no idea he would then smash me into oblivion.

Maxie: Well, I know you're scared of Sonny on a good day, but you went with your convictions and did what you thought was right. You're a real hero, Spinelli.

Spinelli: Maximista is far -- far too kind.

Maxie: You deserve to be pampered, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. I am yours for the rest of the night.

Sonny: Thanks. Carly's still pushing me to give up Morgan.

Kate: I'm sorry.

Sonny: She doesn't want Morgan hurt. I respect that, but I'm -- you know, I'm doing everything I can possibly do try to keep my kids safe.

Kate: Giving up custody is not the solution.

Sonny: It is not the solution, but to them it is. Jason and Carly, I mean, they're going to keep -- they're not going to back off until I -- I settle.

Kate: They're being completely unfair.

Sonny: What I -- you know what I don't get? Like, how two people, my best friend and the mother of my children, could have no faith in me at all.

Carly: Sonny can't stop me from seeing Michael. You know, I'll find a way.

Jason: Okay, so -- so just let me get this straight. You're going to move to someplace new, a new town, you're going to leave Morgan there, you're going to risk coming out of hiding to go visit Michael.

Carly: Why are you being so literal? I'll get to where I'm going, and I'll make a plan.

Jason: You -- do you think that's the best thing for Morgan? I mean, he already lost his brother. You want him to lose his home, his school, the people he knows?

Carly: Morgan is resilient. You know, he's had to be.

Jason: A kid can only take so much, Carly.

Carly: Well, you know what? I'd rather Morgan lose his home and his school than lose his life or wind up like Michael.

Jason: Okay, look, I know that you regret the choices you made -- that we made for Michael. What are you going to do, the exact opposite for Morgan?

Carly: I'm just trying to protect my son here, Jason.

Jason: This is one time you really need to think about what you're doing.

Carly: There's no compromise here. I have to keep Morgan away from Sonny.

Jason: Okay, so if I can convince Sonny -- to give up Morgan, are you going to stay?

Lulu: I'm sorry if -- if you're hurt, but I have been honest with you about my feelings for Johnny.

Logan: This isn't high school, Lulu. I'm not mad at you because you dumped me for the homecoming king. You're messing with some really crazy people.

Lulu: I know who I'm dealing with.

Logan: No, no, Lulu, I don't think you do. If you did, you'd be running as fast as you could.

Lulu: If you're trying to scare me, really not the right time.

Logan: I push Anthonyís chair, and I'm telling you right now, that man's a killer. He's mean, and he's twisted.

Lulu: But that's not who Johnny is.

Logan: That's exactly who Johnny is! He's in the game, and he's doing it, and I'm telling you right now, sooner or later, someone is going to die, and I do not want that to be you.

Lulu: I'll be all right.

Logan: No, you wonít. What the hell is so great about Johnny that is worth your life to be with him?

Anthony: I need a minute alone with my son.

Trevor: Sure, as you wish.

Anthony: What am I going to do with Trevor? He plays both ends against the middle. It's like I have to watch him like a hawk.

Johnny: You wouldn't want it any other way.

Anthony: Smart boy, smart enough to know that Trevor might be playing you.

Johnny: Playing me how?

Anthony: Lulu's your obvious weakness, so he's probably advised you to dump her, right?

Johnny: I can't stand the guy. Why would I listen to anything he says?

Anthony: Whether you decided to dump her because Trevor advised you to, or you came upon that thought on your own, it's still a bluff, and I'm calling.

Johnny: Everything's a game to you, isn't it?

Anthony: Johnny, what's this?

Anthony: That's you, a fish on a hook, trying to wriggle away.

Johnny: I'm not doing this. Forget it.

Anthony: You're my son, John. I know my weaknesses, so I know yours. You love that girl. Doesn't matter whether you're with her or not. You'd do anything to save her.

Johnny: You leave Lulu alone.

Anthony: I will, as long as you're a good, faithful son. But if I ever suspect that you've turned on me, little Miss Lulu is going to pay the price.

Maxie: Does that hurt?

Spinelli: Perhaps a twinge of discomfort.

Maxie: Spinelli, you're in pain. I'm sorry, but your pupils look normal, and you don't have a fever, and you're not throwing up, so if you're okay for the next 24 hours, you probably don't have a concussion.

Spinelli: The Jackal is grateful for Maximista's tender ministrations.

Maxie: Please, it's the least I could do after you were so brave.

Spinelli: The Jackal was, alas, a total wimp, completely overpowered by Mr. Sir.

Maxie: Spinelli, you stepped up and did the right thing. I totally admire that. If it were me, I probably would have covered my butt and then let everyone else twist in the wind, but you always are quick to rush to people's defense, like a knight in shining armor.

Spinelli: Maximista underestimates her true nobility. When -- when your passions are aroused, you leap into the fray with courage and conviction.

Lulu: Yeah, when it benefits numero uno.

Spinelli: Not so. Maximista has done much to assist the Jackal over these past pleasurable months. Maximista is the ne plus ultra, the summit, the nirvana of feminine charm --

Maxie: You're babbling again. You need to relax, and I'm going to go change. I'll be right back.

Spinelli: Is -- is Maximista intending on sleeping with the Jackal, as it were?

Maxie: Yeah, of course. Remember, the first 24 hours are the danger zone for a concussion. I have to stay with you the whole night.

Spinelli: Well, if you must. Who is the Jackal to argue?

Maxie: Good, rest. I'm going to change.

Kate: What happened to Michael is devastating.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Kate: You and Jason and Carly are all looking for answers, and there aren't any, Sonny. Carly is having a knee-jerk reaction. She's trying to protect Morgan by ting him away from you. Jason is having a knee-jerk reaction by supporting Carly.

Sonny: But that's a wrong -- that's a wrong decision, right?

Kate: I can empathize, Sonny. I had a knee-jerk reaction. I paid Ian Devlin a million dollars to disappear. It wasn't a very wise choice, and I wasn't thinking very clearly.

Sonny: Can we not talk about what anybody should or shouldn't have done? I got angry at you, right? And you know, and I'm sorry about that.

Kate: It's all right.

Sonny: No, listen. I don't agree with what you did, but I do know that you were trying to protect me.

Kate: However misguided. I was acting out of love, Sonny, and I think that's what Jason and Carly are doing right now.

Sonny: Okay, so how do I stop them? What do I do?

Kate: Maybe nothing. Maybe you just give everyone some time to grieve.

Sonny: So you just want me to give up Morgan, is that what you're saying?

Kate: No, Sonny.

Sonny: Why not?

Kate: I'm saying maybe if you just let Carly have some time, maybe she'll change her mind. Maybe if you don't fight her, maybe she won't fight you.

Sonny: Do you know Carly?

Kate: Yeah.

Sonny: Okay, so then what?

Kate: Well, what we do know is that what's best for your children is that their mother and father are on good terms, so -- maybe you have to wait. Maybe you have to have faith.

Sonny: You know, it's like you're so levelheaded and kind, and sometimes I wonder why you're like that when I've -- I've been so unfair to you.

Kate: You are not perfect, Sonny, and neither am I.

Kate: But I still love you.

Sonny: Yeah, I love you.

Jason: Okay, you know what; I don't want you to think about Sonny right now. Don't even -- don't even -- just forget him. I want you to think about what's best for Morgan right now.

Carly: Well, of course staying here would be best for Morgan. I would get to visit Michael whenever I wanted. Morgan would be at home, surrounded by everyone he loved. I'd be able to fix things with Jax.

Jason: Okay, then that's your answer.

Carly: And it's impossible, and you know it. Sonny's never going to sign the papers, Jason. All he cares about is holding on to what's his. Who gives a damn if he's risking his son's life in the process?

Jason: Maybe I can get him to sign the papers.

Carly: This isn't your problem to fix. It's mine.

Jason: Do you trust me?

Carly: I always trust you.

Jason: Then don't run. Just give me some time to work this out.

Carly: Okay.

Jason: Okay, I'll call you.

Patrick: You know, it's a little bit scary that I'm having sympathetic pregnancy cravings with you.

Robin: Well, good, then I won't feel so strange when I request pickles and mayo at three in the morning.

Patrick: No, see, that's still a little strange.

Robin: Mmm. Well, Kelly said to listen to my body and respect all of my cravings.

Patrick: Well, if it's chocolate chip, then the baby's taking after me. It was my favorite growing up.

Robin: Really?

Patrick: Mm-hmm. What do you think, kid? You got some Drake genes kicking in there?

Robin: Oh, my God.

Patrick: What?

Robin: Say something else.

Patrick: What?

Robin: I don't care. Just keep talking.

Patrick: Um --

Robin: Say something.

Patrick: Okay, um, hey, guess what? It's never too early to learn the rules of NASCAR. Points are given per race in two categories. One is your -- your -- where you finish, and the other one is your laps --

Robin: The baby's kicking. The baby's responding to your voice.

Patrick: But I don't feel anything. I don't -- oh, my God.

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Spinelli: Six times?

Maxie: After the last time, I was pretty exhausted.

Carly: Do we start with why you left or where you went?

Sonny: Have you decided to take over the organization?

Jason: If you give up Michael and Morgan.
