Nikolas: Yeah, well, I'll give you something to arrest me for.
Emily: No, no, no, no. [Slaps Scott] You pig!
Emily: If you want to arrest someone, you arrest me. I'd be more than happy to tell a judge and jury how you threatened and harassed Nikolas.
Scott: Your boyfriend attacked two people without provocation -- I got witnesses.
Emily: Oh, so you think you can just throw your weight around because you're the special prosecutor?
Nikolas: Emily, Emily, Emily, you don't have to do this.
Skye: Thank you for coming so promptly.
Ric: I was watching TV. My social calendar is a little light these days.
Skye: I know the feeling. I think we've both been relegated to outsider status. Maybe there's something we can do about that.
Carly: Since when do you police the dating habits of 20-year-olds?
Trevor: You know, Johnny is no ordinary 20-something.
Carly: Hmm. That part I got.
Trevor: Then you understand it's in everybody's best interests if little Lulu just stays away from him.
Jason: Keep Carly out of it. Anything you have to say, you say it to me, or you say it to Sonny.
Lulu: Put the gun away.
Johnny: He made you cry.
Lulu: I'm not crying.
Coop: Wow. You look great. I like your hair.
Maxie: Thank you.
Coop: Um -- you wanted to meet someplace more private than Kelly’s?
Maxie: I want us to be able to talk without anyone barging in or interrupting -- you know, like we did the first 12 hours we knew each other.
Coop: Well, this is slightly different than being locked in -- in the vault.
Maxie: I know -- you were holding me hostage, and I should've been terrified, but I wasn’t. There was something about you right from the start that was good and kind. We connected, Coop, and I really want to be like that again.
Ric: You appear to be out of mourning, but you don't believe that Alcazar's dead, do you?
Skye: Does it matter?
Ric: Jason walked into Alcazar's home and murdered the father of your daughter. There's no sign of forced entry. I can only imagine that somebody gave him access.
Skye: You already tried that case, Ric, and lost.
Ric: Doesn't mean I'm wrong.
Skye: Ric, you need to drop this, or else I'll have no reason to trust you.
Ric: Are you proposing an alliance?
Nikolas: Now, don't -- don't give him any reason to file a frivolous charge against you, too, okay?
Scott: Cassadine, you're -- you're guilty of assault and battery. I don't think the law sees that as frivolous.
Nikolas: Tell me, does your son plan to testify against me?
Scott: You think you can throw some money at him and he's just going to slink away?
Nikolas: I'll tell you what I think. I think that you're feeling somewhat guilty about a son that you never knew existed. And now that he's all grown up and a big boy now, you're trying to overcompensate for that -- something that my attorney -- Alexis, as you know -- will be all too quick to point out in court. So, when that warrant for my arrest comes through, I'll be at Wyndemere.
Spinelli: Greetings, wise Georgie. What brings you to my door?
Georgie: I know, I know, I probably should've called first. But I -- I was on my way to the university library when I thought that I would --
Spinelli: No -- no need to elaborate. The Jackal is aware of your hidden purpose, and I must say I, too, share your passion.
Spinelli: Yeah -- for knowledge. I've been doing more research on harmony and realism in global political architecture, and -- you know, the chosen field of study for your junior year abroad?
Georgie: That -- that is so -- so sweet of you.
Spinelli: Uh, yeah, I just want to be as faithful of a friend to you as you are to me.
Georgie: Friends are honest, Spinelli, and -- and I -- I haven't been.
Lulu: Stop it, both of you! Stop it, both of you! I mean it, or I'm calling the cops!
Johnny: Can I have my gun back now, please?
Logan: Lulu, don't give him that gun.
Lulu: Oh --
Johnny: I promise not to shoot anyone -- tonight.
Trevor: Mr. Morgan, this is a friendly visit. All I'm here to do is to solicit Carly’s help to protect her little cousin. Evidently, Lulu and Johnny are -- communicating.
Carly: My family is none of your business.
Trevor: Johnny is a volatile human being. His presence here could disrupt an already delicate balance.
Carly: Okay, you want us to keep Lulu away from Johnny so he won't come here to Port Charles to see her?
Trevor: Believe me, you don't, either.
Skye: Allies don't need to like one another; they simply need to believe that being on the same side is mutually beneficial.
Ric: Have we ever been on the same side?
Skye: Not when Lorenzo was alive, but circumstances have changed. Although, for me, I don't think an alliance would be -- would be able to happen unless you had a change of, shall we say, perception.
Skye: Revenge -- your life's been defined by it. Oh, and don't get me wrong, I understand its appeal. I used to love the anticipation, the private thrill of seeking an unsuspecting quarry to inflict payback.
Ric: Yeah. You don't anymore?
Skye: Well, experience has taught me that after the momentary satisfaction, you're left in exactly the same place, nursing the same old grudges with the same old hatred.
Ric: And you think that that's what I'm doing?
Skye: Your hatred of Sonny and Jason is holding you back. The question is, can you let it go?
Maxie: I miss you, and I hope you miss me, too.
Coop: I miss what we had.
Maxie: You made me feel safe, Coop. I didn't have to put on an act or pretend to be someone different -- you accepted me for who I was. Now, I've had my fair share of relationships -- if you can call them that -- and you were good for me. I hope I was somewhat good for you.
Coop: That was then, Maxie.
Georgie: I didn't come here to talk to you about my year abroad or, you know, because I was just passing through. It was all just an excuse.
Spinelli: Well, for what?
Georgie: Well, to see -- to see if -- um -- uh -- if you found anything out on -- on this whole Carly/Lulu/Johnny Zacchara text messaging. I -- I know that you probably shouldn't talk to me about it cause my dad's the police commissioner and because Jason's a --
Spinelli: Coffee importer?
Georgie: Right. Hmm -- coffee importer. Um -- but I'm worried. Yeah, um, because Lulu got really, really hurt by Logan and, you know, I don't want to see her walk into anything worse. But if you -- if you don't want to talk about it --
Spinelli: Look, I -- I know that discussing it with you would never result in a betrayal. Um, I trust wise Georgie, absolutely and without question.
Georgie: I feel the same way.
Spinelli: But my -- my dedication to my job is superseded by my desire to protect you from the forces of darkness that are gathering. We must all beware.
Georgie: Beware of what?
Spinelli: I've been working on a text that was sent to Mr. Corinthos, Sir directly.
Georgie: Have you figured out who it's from?
Spinelli: Not yet. But if I can trace it to Johnny Zacchara, then we know for sure that he's the one that murdered loyal Leticia.
Logan: Lulu, don't give him that pistol. He'll shoot both of us.
Johnny: It is my gun.
Lulu: Fine. Take it and go.
Johnny: Come with me.
Logan: She told you to leave.
Johnny: Does he speak for you?
Lulu: I don't like guns. If you really thought I was in trouble, you could've found a better way to handle it.
Johnny: This works.
Lulu: It's the second time you've pulled out a gun for no reason. You think it's all tough and cool, but it freaks me out, so please, just go.
Johnny: Some other time.
Logan: Hold on, hold on. That guy's pulled a gun on you before?
Jason: Carly has no control over Lulu.
Trevor: Carly, you're a formidable woman, and I don't doubt for a second your powers of persuasion. You could convince your little cousin --
Carly: Don't tell me what to do. Jason's right -- I have no control over Lulu, she does what she wants.
Trevor: All right, here's my problem. Johnny is difficult to manage. He acts in unpredictable ways.
Carly: Sounds like Johnny's daddy has hired "you" to take care of him, so do it.
Trevor: No, no, no, no. You absolutely don't want Anthony Zacchara to get personally involved in this.
Carly: Now, is that a threat? Are we all supposed to be shaking in our boots because "big, bad" New York City mob boss --
Jason: Carly, stop. Trevor, we get the message -- if anything happens to Johnny, Anthony’s going to retaliate.
Trevor: Well put, Mr. Morgan. And you -- be wise. Listen to your friend.
Jason: What'd you do?
Carly: "What did I do?" The guy comes over making threats, and you want to know what I did?
Jason: Yeah, what did you do?
(Joyful music playing)
Emily: Remind me not to order an appetizer, main course, and chocolate soufflé the next time we go to the Metro Court.
Nikolas: So just the soufflé, then?
Emily: The dinner was wonderful.
Nikolas: Well, it was --
Emily: Company -- even better.
Nikolas: Yeah -- till Scott showed up.
Emily: I'm sorry, Nikolas, I should've let you handle it. He just made me so angry.
Nikolas: Yeah. You slapped him to keep me from going into one of those rages again, didn't you?
Emily: You stayed in control.
Nikolas: Barely. What if next time when I attack someone, I actually try and kill them?
Emily: I don't think you would ever go that far.
Nikolas: Maybe I already have.
Maxie: I was hoping maybe we could start again.
Coop: I'm not sure that's such a good idea.
Maxie: We could just start dating, have fun like we used to. I could show you that I've changed.
Coop: But it's not that simple.
Maxie: We had something good -- maybe -- maybe too good. I mean, part of me felt like I didn't deserve it, so I got self-destructive and I ruined it. I felt like I did it on purpose, I just couldn't help myself.
Coop: Maxie --
Maxie: No. Save it -- I get the picture.
Skye: I've really touched your Achilles' heel, haven't I?
Ric: Revenge against my brother?
Skye: Sonny took away the life you should've had. Jason's the brother you never were. Now, those resentments run deep, Ric. I'm not judging you; I'm just saying that --
Ric: No, no, no, no, Skye, I -- I do hate Sonny and Jason, and I doubt that that's ever going to change. It's -- it's just that that hatred has undergone a radical shift in perception lately.
Skye: Oh, really?
Skye: Do tell.
Ric: My brother's dating Kate Howard.
Skye: The editor in chief of "Couture"?
Ric: Hmm, yeah. And as it stands, my father was also Kate’s benefactor as she made that long and arduous climb up the ladder. And now he's back in her life and it seems he wants payback.
Skye: Sonny and your father -- two men you despise.
Ric: Hmm. Educational, to say the least -- watching the two of them posture and preen for the attention of one woman. Now they're locked in a battle and Kate’s the prize. Two knights jousting for the fair lady's hand.
Skye: Hmm. You sound more amused than angry.
Ric: I'm oddly detached. You know, looking at the whole thing with an impartial eye, I have no interest whatsoever in getting into the fray. It's amazingly liberating.
Skye: Hmm -- which makes you more interesting -- and dangerous.
Logan: Where have you met that guy before?
Lulu: It's none of your business.
Logan: Lulu, that guy flirted with you at the Metro Court, okay? Now he holds a gun to the back of my head in the park. I got a right to know what's going on.
Lulu: Actually, you don’t. We're not living together, we're not dating, we're not friends -- we're over. My life is my own.
Logan: The guy's a psycho!
Lulu: I'm happy Johnny came -- you were holding on to me and you wouldn't let go.
Logan: No, no, it is not like that, and you know it.
Lulu: You forced me to stay.
Logan: Oh -- Lulu, I've never forced you to do anything. Hey, but that guy right here -- he sure as hell would.
Lulu: Johnny wouldn't hurt me.
Logan: How do you know that?
Lulu: This discussion's over.
Logan: I thought you were using that guy as a way to avoid dealing with me, but you're defending him -- after he's the one who pulled a gun on me. What gives, Lulu? You got a thing for this guy?
Trevor: All right, you are going home now.
Johnny: Didn't we just have this conversation?
Trevor: He's calling for you.
Johnny: Make an excuse -- you're good at those.
Trevor: Not if he comes looking for you, and something happens, huh? You going to take the responsibility for yet another incident? I'll call him, tell him you're on your way.
Carly: When I found out Lulu was living with you, I went over there to talk to her -- and why didn't you tell me she had moved in with you?
Jason: Don't change the subject right now.
Carly: You could've asked my opinion. I would've told you she should never live with you --
Jason: Get to the part about Lulu and Johnny, please, Carly!
Carly: She told me what happened between her and Logan, how she was upset and she went for a long walk and started to hitchhike, and some guy picked her up, and that guy happened to be Johnny Zacchara. I told her to stay away from him, she started defending him, saying he was probably just the family screw-up. I don't know how I'm going to keep that girl away from dangerous guys.
Jason: Then what happened?
Carly: Then she tells me how "you" think Johnny might be the one who killed Leticia.
Jason: It's a possibility.
Carly: Then Lulu admits that she and Johnny are text-messaging each other.
Jason: So --
Carly: So I had to find out if Johnny was responsible for Leticia’s murder.
Jason: What, you texted Johnny, pretending to be Lulu to set up a meeting?
Carly: Leticia was like family to me.
Jason: You should've come to me and let me deal with this, Carly.
Carly: And you should ask my opinion about Lulu moving in with you, but you didn't.
Jason: Oh! Will you just tell me everything Johnny said?
Carly: Nothing about Leticia if that's what you’re getting at.
Jason: Start from the beginning. Any small detail could be useful.
Jerry: Thank you for meeting me.
Alexis: You know that I have an office downstairs.
Jerry: Yes, I know, it's quite comfortable -- I can't buy you a drink, though, you see.
Alexis: Why would it be appropriate for you to buy me a drink?
Jerry: Well, how else can I thank you for continuing to represent me despite your lovely nephew's terrible objections?
Skye: The court is dragging its feet in releasing Lorenzo’s Port Charles' assets --
Ric: I'm sorry; would you excuse me for just a second, Skye?
Alexis: A great many people are under the impression that I'm representing you because you're a friend or I'm fond of you -- none of those things are true.
Ric: Excuse me. What are you doing?
Jerry: -- I don't know if you noticed, we're in the middle of a private conversation.
Ric: It's bad enough that you represent this man, now you're having drinks with him?
Alexis: Who I meet is my business.
Ric: Well, yeah, normally I would say that's fine, but this is why I disagree -- Molly is living with you.
Alexis: Why are we doing this now?
Ric: Molly is happy, okay? She made the adjustment, she got a new routine, and I loved having my daughter there. The reason I gave her back to you, Alexis, was because I didn't want my father to drag us into court.
Alexis: Do you really want to discuss this here in front of my client?
Ric: Look, the point is that molly is my child, and I don't want this man anywhere near my daughter.
Jerry: Is Molly around somewhere? I'd love to buy her a Shirley Temple.
Ric: The second that this man comes near my daughter, I'm taking her back, okay?
Alexis: Fine. You want to go back to family court? I can't imagine why you would want to do that --
Ric: No, I don't want to go back to family court, Alexis, but I will in a heartbeat -- I will in a heartbeat if he is anywhere near her and you put her in danger.
Jerry: Well, clearly this was the wrong place to have a drink.
Alexis: No, he just did you a really big favor. I was about to dump you as a client, but now he's made me so angry that I've changed my mind. If any man ever tries to control me again by threatening to take my children, I will hand him his ass.
Jerry: Yes, I'm quite sure you will, darling.
Ric: Sorry for the interruption.
Skye: I take it that was about your daughter?
Ric: Oh, was my voice carrying?
Skye: Not really. But you looked pretty livid, and so is Alexis. And in my experience, the only thing that causes that level of fury to rise is when the question of your child's custody is at hand.
Ric: Okay, cards on the table. You allowed Jason Morgan to kill Lorenzo Alcazar because you wanted your daughter protected, okay? Now a man just like Alcazar -- potentially more dangerous -- is hanging around Alexis. So, how far do you think I'm willing to go to protect my own daughter?
Emily: Why don't we try to reconstruct why you lost control, okay? Maybe there's some sort of trigger to your outbursts.
Nikolas: Uh -- no. No, I don't think so. Because this -- I mean, this rage -- whatever it is -- it's -- it's out of proportion to the -- to the reason. With Logan, it was obviously because of what he'd done to Lulu. But with you at the Metro Court, it was just because you had gone to Jax for help, that's it.
Emily: You were furious.
Nikolas: I know. I mean, all I really remember is -- is the anger just rising up inside me, but the rest of the argument is -- it's just a blank. Please tell me I didn't hurt you.
Carly: Johnny and I only talked for a few minutes.
Jason: And what was your impression?
Carly: He's scary, violent, and unpredictable, and he likes pulling guns on people.
Jason: Did he pull one on you?
Carly: He's a wild card, okay? He had a couple of handlers with him that were used to him getting into fights and causing trouble. But when I fished around about whether he had been in Port Charles before the night he met Lulu, I got the feeling he hadn’t. But Lulu is on his radar. When I told him to stay away, he only wanted her more. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
Jason: Then do me a favor -- please don't make it worse.
Maxie: Logan! Logan, it's Maxie!
Lulu: Johnny is a guy I met the night I found out about you and Maxie.
Logan: You met -- you met the guy on the street?
Lulu: I was hitchhiking and Johnny picked me up.
Logan: Oh -- Lulu, do you -- do you have any idea how dangerous that is? There are all kind of maniacs just roaming around, waiting to pick up some girl -- that guy, Johnny, is living proof of that.
Lulu: Oh, enough with the lectures, okay? I get the picture.
Logan: Then why are you being so friendly to the guy, huh?
Lulu: It doesn't matter! I am probably never going to see Johnny again, which is fine by me because I'm not big on people waving guns around. But sorry to burst your bubble -- Johnny is not the reason why I won't get back together with you. You did that all by yourself when you lied and cheated and slept with me on a bet with Maxie, and then topped it off by sleeping with her, too.
Logan: Look, okay, you know that was before -
Lulu: Oh, stop! Stop it, save it. Why would I get back together with someone who treated me like crap?
Logan: Okay, look, I know this sounds so corny, but you've made me a better person. Don't you understand? I'm different when I'm with you. I care about you so much, and I know you still care about me because I -- I saw it -- I saw it in your eyes when I was talking about Scott being my father.
Lulu: I felt really bad for you. You were seriously messed up. And if you think that I'm going to be the one to save you, you're wrong.
Logan: What are you doing here?
Maxie: Well, I thought I'd finish off my lousy night by visiting you.
Logan: Maxie, seriously, I am not in the mood. Go bother Coop or something. I don't --
Maxie: I had dinner with Coop at the Metro Court. I got all dressed my heart on the line. He basically threw it back at me and told me I needed to do some serious work on self-improvement.
Logan: Can you blame the guy?
Maxie: I thought he'd miss me just a little.
Logan: You came all the way over here to tell me this?
Maxie: Oh, no, I thought I'd pay Coop back by sleeping with you again. I mean, you could always turn me down out of loyalty to Lulu, but where's that gotten you?
Logan: Hmm. You know, Maxie, I've had one hell of a day. I got confirmation that Baldwin is my loser father. I got held up at a park by some guy with a gun who I'm pretty sure Lulu has the hots for. So why not top all that off by sleeping with the bitch that ruined my life? Oh.
Carly: How are you?
Lulu: Not good.
Carly: I want you to know I met with Johnny Zacchara and I told him to stay away from you.
Lulu: Well, it must not have worked, because I just saw Johnny.
Carly: What did he say to you?
Lulu: No, you first. You tell me how you got Johnny to meet you.
Carly: You told me you were texting him, so I stole his number from your phone, I started texting him, and I pretended to be you.
Lulu: How could you? Carly, I trusted you!
Carly: And I'm worried about you. I don't want you to end up like Leticia.
Lulu: Oh –
Spinelli: Stone Cold, I welcome you home with great relief. Did you get my many messages?
Jason: Yes, I did. And I've spoken to Carly, and I know she met with Johnny Zacchara.
Spinelli: Okay, well, did she mention that Mr. Corinthos, sir received a second message from the killer?
Jason: No, she left that part out.
Spinelli: Okay. Well, Mr. Corinthos, Sir has instructed me to hack into the warped one's accounts to see if there's a possibility he sent another message from another phone.
Spinelli: Um -- if Mr. Corinthos, Sir is correct, then the warped one is truly insane, and I -- I tremble to think of what he'll do next.
Alexis: No that I'm not firing you -- lucky you -- as my client, we should probably go over your petition and check into your assets in the Swiss bank account.
Jerry: Yeah, not to interfere with your work, but you appear to be quite angry --
Alexis: I'm not angry.
Jerry: No, no, I understand, but why don't you take a moment and calm down, all right? If only because we're dealing with large amounts of currency. I would hate for you to inadvertently drop a zero and lose a few million dollars of my money.
Alexis: I'm perfectly capable of conducting business.
Jerry: Yes, and I understand that, I understand that. It's just the idea of you being hauled into custody court for representing me is very unsettling. I mean, you probably know that I have absolutely no inclination towards self-sacrifice, but I don't want to be the reason you lose your daughter.
Alexis: Ric got custody of my daughter because I was too sick to fight. He voluntarily returned her, and there's absolutely little or no chance that he'll ever get her back.
Jerry: Again, I -- I'm not one to make moral judgments, but as I understand it, Ric took your daughter away while you were battling cancer? Which begs the question -- and, again, it may sound strange for me, but -- why'd you get involved with such a soulless creep in the first place?
Skye: I know how far I'd go to protect Lila, and I'm sympathetic to you about your concern for molly. But don't mess up things with Alexis, Ric, because if you fight her again, you're not going to win.
Ric: I did before.
Skye: The woman was debilitated by cancer, she was caught smoking marijuana -- I doubt those circumstances are going to repeat themselves. I'm telling you, if you want to drag Alexis back into family court, she can and will find any way she can to paint herself as the victim and you as the bully. So you have to ask yourself, what do you want for Molly, hmm? Do you want to fight? Or do you want to have some kind of a working truce where you might have to just suck it up and deal with a situation you might not particularly like?
Ric: Jerry Jacks is not a situation, okay, he's an amoral psychopath.
Skye: Alexis is a conscientious mother, we all know that. She may be interested in him, she may even flirt with him a little bit, but she will not get involved with the man, and she will certainly not bring him home to spend time with her children.
Ric: Yeah, well, maybe you, because, you know, you can admit when you're wrong, Alexis can’t. If she says that Jerry Jacks is perfectly fine, then that's what we're all expected to believe, okay, and if she has to bring him around Kristina and Molly in order to make her point, she's going to do it. Look, I can't let that happen. I have to do what's best for my child and act in her best interest.
Trevor: Excuse me.
Trevor: I need to talk to you, Richard.
Ric: Skye and I are in the middle of dinner.
Trevor: Oh, I'm sorry, but this is a family matter. It'll only take a couple of minutes.
Skye: Certainly. I have to call and check on my daughter anyway.
Trevor: Thank you.
Ric: A family matter, huh?
Trevor: Leticia Juarez, Sonny's nanny -- I need you to close down the investigation into her murder.
Emily: I don't believe you'd ever hurt me, Nikolas.
Nikolas: I wish I had your confidence. What if I lose control with you the way I did with Logan and Jerry?
Emily: See, that's my point. You got physically violent with two people that you dislike. Anyone who knows what Jerry's done to you would say that you're perfectly justified. It seems that whatever's happening to you is magnifying your anger so that it overwhelms the rational part of your brain, the part that throws up barriers and allows you to act with restraint.
Nikolas: I -- I don't know.
Emily: I'm sure when Logan humiliated Lulu, you wanted to throttle him. This chemical imbalance -- or whatever it is -- throws away those barriers that would ordinarily stop you from acting on that impulse.
Nikolas: Okay, so what you're basically saying is I'm still myself, just a little angrier?
Emily: Oh --
Emily: Yeah, I can live with that.
Nikolas: I'm really sorry I yelled at you.
Emily: Apology accepted. So as long as you don't yell at me when I drag in from the hospital and leave my scrubs all over the floor --
Nikolas: Ooh, I --
Emily: Oh --
Nikolas: I don't know.
Emily: Then I think I can manage this.
Nikolas: Okay. It's a deal.
Maxie: You know, it's a buzz-kill when you call me names.
Logan: Yeah, well, you've earned it.
Maxie: And, of course, you get to be judgmental because you're such a fine, upstanding person, so pure of heart, so misunderstood?
Logan: Shut up, Maxie.
Maxie: Why don't you admit what's really upset you, Logan? Your plan to redeem yourself, maybe rewrite history -- hell, even convince yourself you're a decent guy -- that all hinged on Lulu, and now she's gone.
Logan: Huh. You have no idea how much I hate you right now.
Ric: Well, I'm not at liberty to discuss an open investigation, Trevor.
Trevor: Richard, don't stonewall me, find a way to close the case. Pin it on some vagrant, homeless person, or link it to a different defendant in another crime.
Ric: You mean frame someone? Wait -- who would I be covering for, Trevor -- one of the Zacchara family?
Trevor: If you continue to investigate, you're going to create problems that you can't handle.
Ric: Well, the only one who's got a problem, as far as I can see, is you.
Trevor: Hmm. Like it or not, Richie, you're my son. So whatever affects me affects you in ways that you can't possibly understand. And when I tell you to close a case, believe me, it's really for your own good.
Alexis: As your attorney, I do appreciate your concern, but I think it would be unwise for us to discuss my personal life.
Jerry: Hmm, you're probably right. Nevertheless, I'm curious. I mean, you're a beautiful woman. You're charming, you're extremely intelligent, pleasant company. Why choose Ric Lansing? Is it because you were already involved with his brother?
Alexis: Are you deliberately trying to be cruel, or is this your idea of a joke?
Jerry: No, no, no, I -- I only ask because Sonny and Ric are brothers, and, as you know, Jax and I are --
Alexis: You aren't going to go there.
Jerry: You were married to my brother. You could at least agree to have dinner with me -- and I mean a real dinner, not some excuse to work me for information about something or other.
Alexis: I adore your brother, which is why I agreed to represent his brother, even though I know that you are certainly guilty of any number of crimes. However, since you have been nice to me on a number of occasions, I am inclined to somewhat give you the benefit of the doubt.
Jerry: I'm pleased to hear it.
Alexis: Please know that I have been burned, scorched, and barbecued in the past by crossing the line in letting a professional relationship get personal, which I am clearly never going to do again -- particularly, not with you.
Jerry: Oh, that's too bad, but I understand your position -- although it's extremely unfair to make me pay for Ric's bad behavior. Bye-bye, Alexis.
Spinelli: Were you able to dissuade the Valkyrie from further investigative forays?
Jason: No. Carly does what she wants to do.
Spinelli: No offense to the Valkyrie, but she had the instincts of a kamikaze pilot going to the septic son. I -- I mean, if Johnny Z did actually commit--
Jason: Carly doesn't think he did.
Spinelli: She's defending him?
Jason: Well, she got the feeling he was telling the truth when he said the night he picked up Lulu was his first time in Port Charles.
Spinelli: Well, so then maybe he -- he's innocent of the crime?
Jason: No, I wouldn't say that. If Johnny really is crazy, it would explain why Trevor and the Zaccharas work so hard to cover for him.
Spinelli: Okay, so if Johnny did strangle loyal Leticia and Lulu continues to hang around him, she could be next.
Lulu: How would you like it if I barged into your life, started texting someone, pretending to be you, and then to top it off, warned them to stay away from you?
Carly: I was trying to protect you.
Lulu: I told you about Logan, how he hurt me, how I ran away and met up with Johnny, because I trusted you. I confided in you, and the minute that I leave, you start texting with him, and you don't even tell me, not one word. You betrayed me.
Carly: No, I didn’t. Betrayal is when you set out to hurt someone, and I was doing the exact opposite.
Lulu: You were trying to run my life.
Carly: I found Leticia dead on this floor, and I will do anything to stop that from happening to you -- so, yes, I set up a meeting with Johnny so I could get some information.
Lulu: And did he threaten you?
Carly: It took him about 10 seconds to pull a gun and use me as a human shield.
Lulu: Well, he thought he was being set up, and guess what -- he was right.
Lulu: Oh --
Carly: So it doesn't faze you at all that Johnny will pull a gun at the slightest provocation?
Lulu: No, I don't -- I don't like it, but that doesn't prove that he's a killer. But you know what? You're not looking for proof, Carly, because you've already tried and convicted him.
Carly: I don't know that he killed Leticia, but I know he's a loose cannon, and I want you to promise me you're going to stay away from him.
Lulu: He's going back to the city -- if he hasn't already.
Carly: That's not an answer, Lulu.
Lulu: What do you want from me?
Carly: The guy's a wack job and he is unpredictable.
Lulu: And you know this from 10 minutes of meeting him?
Carly: It is obvious, Lulu, the guy is trouble, not to mention he's the son of a violent mob boss who probably killed Leticia!
Lulu: We just text-messaged a few times, that's it.
Carly: Good. Are we okay?
Lulu: I heard what you had to say.
Carly: You need to be careful.
Lulu: I will.
>> On the next "General Hospital" --
Carly: Get me everything you can dig up on Trevor Lansing.
Elizabeth: I just want to put this whole divorce behind me.
Lucky: I just want Alexis to protect me.
Nikolas: You push this too far, someone will get hurt.
