Jason: I need to know what happened that day in the coffeehouse.

Spinelli: I mean, the Jackal told you all that transpired. I -- I was pummeled to a pitiful pulp, and then forced to watch while the simian one sullied fair Lulu's lips.

Jason: See, I need you to take me through it again, okay, step by step, starting from when Logan walked through the door.

Spinelli: Why?

Jason: Why? Because you told me that he forced Lulu. He's not going to do it again.

Carly: I realize I'm the last person that should be telling you to look before you leap, but I'm going to -- I have to. This thing with Logan is happening really fast, so how much do you really know about him -- or is that the attraction?

Lulu: Well, there are a lot of things that Logan keeps to himself, things that I'm -- I'm probably better off not knowing right now. Yeah, I'm still curious. I mean, it's like being afraid of the dark but still wanting to walk through it. Does that make sense?

Carly: More than you know.

Lulu: What I can see is that Logan respects me. And he has been so patient with all of my issues, and it just feels so nice to trust someone with my insecurities and my feelings and my body. I don't know -- when I'm with Logan I feel like anything can happen. Is that crazy?

Maxie: What's the matter? You having second thoughts about cheating on Lulu?

Logan: How's Coop going to feel about this?

Maxie: You are stalling.

Logan: All right, you wouldn't be here begging for it if Coop was keeping you satisfied, but, obviously, he's not man enough to keep up his end of the deal.

Maxie: Well, so far, he's got more to offer than you.

Logan: Oh --

Maxie: You know, maybe I should just tell Lulu about our little bet -- how you only agreed to sleep with her to win?

Trevor: There's a lot that's changed for both you and me since the last time we were together. But right now, thank heavens we are back in each other's lives. You were always precious to me, and you always will be.

Kate: Hmm --

Trevor: Are you going somewhere?

Kate: Um -- it's just getting late, Trevor, and I haven't done a thing about dinner, so --

Trevor: Well, dinner can wait.

Kate: No, just -- won't if you want to eat at that French bistro. So just let me go and make the call, and you can --

Trevor: Ha. You haven't changed much since you were a kid -- still skulking around and spying on people.

Kate: Trevor, stop.

Trevor: No. This is your home. It's intrusive and vaguely incestuous, because the last time we tussled over a woman, it was his mother.

Kate: Okay, donít. Just -- Trevor, donít. It's nothing like that.

Trevor: Then what is he doing here?

Kate: Sonny is my neighbor. We often visit each other for one reason or another.

Trevor: All right. What's the reason this time?

Sonny: It doesn't matter anymore.

Carly: I know I told you that without chemistry, you couldn't have a relationship, but honesty is pretty important, too.

Lulu: Logan wouldn't lie to me -- I think.

Carly: Okay. What about the fact that he is Scott Baldwinís illegitimate son? Your dad would freak if he knew you were looking at him.

Lulu: Since when do you care what my dad thinks?

Carly: I don't care what your dad thinks, but I know you care what your dad thinks. What do you really know about Logan -- and these are questions you should be able to answer if you're sleeping with him.

Lulu: I know that Logan grew up in Texas; he was raised by a single mother. He went into the army after high school -- which is actually pretty surprising, considering he has a serious problem with authority.

Carly: Okay, why is that?

Lulu: I just don't see Logan as the type of guy to take orders.

Carly: He's taking orders from Sonny and Jason.

Lulu: Not the safest job, but it's kind of sexy, don't you think?

Carly: Oh, my gosh. Bad boys -- you know, they're fun for a few rides around the track, but if they get bored, they can dump you like a piece of garbage.

Lulu: I know that Logan can act all cocky and macho, but -- but deep down, he's really sweet. Like, on my birthday, he surprised me with a chocolate cake, and this beautiful bracelet --

Carly: That you're not wearing.

Lulu: I must have left it at Logan's on accident. The point is that Logan is not a stereotypical bad boy.

Carly: Okay. A guy with a rough exterior can have a sensitive soul -- I will give you that, because there's Jason, but he is an exception to the rule. Most guys who seem damaged usually are.

Lulu: I feel good when I'm with Logan -- is that wrong?

Carly: No, no, no, no, okay? No, it's not wrong; you should feel good when you're with him. Ugh. Okay. I'm going to tell you a story, and maybe it will help you with your situation, maybe it wonít. The first time I had sex with Jason, I didn't even know his name. He was this smoking-hot guy who lived above Jakeís, and I walked in the bar, I hit on him, and next thing you know, we're upstairs having sex in his room. To say it was phenomenal is an understatement. But I told him all I wanted was a sexual relationship. I didn't want to know his name, I didn't want to know anything about him, and the second he said okay, I wanted more. I did. I wanted that emotional connection.

Lulu: What does this have to do with Logan and me?

Carly: Great sex can be intoxicating, and it can make you think a relationship exists when it doesn't, so you have to make sure that it does.

Lulu: You think that I'm imagining how I feel about Logan?

Carly: No. No, I don't -- you know what? I don't know. I know that I have to go to the pharmacy and pick up a prescription for Morgan. Can you please stay with the boys -- I won't have to drag them back out of the house again -- please?

Lulu: Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure.

Carly: Okay, great. We're going to talk later, and maybe I'll come up with something better to say that'll help you.

Lulu: Uh-huh -- that'd be nice.

[Door closes]

Maxie: Oh. You can admit it at any time.

Logan: Admit what?

Maxie: That I'm better at this than Lulu.

Logan: Well, you should be, Maxie -- you've had enough experience, haven't you?

Maxie: You're not exactly the poster boy for love and commitment.

Logan: No, I'm sure that title goes to Coop -- poor bastard. Doesn't have a clue who you are, but he's going to find out soon enough.

Maxie: Is that supposed to be some kind of threat to keep me quiet?

Logan: Come on, Maxie. You obviously don't have much with Coop, or you wouldn't be here with me, would you?

Maxie: Oh -- please, Logan. And, what, you think what you have with little Miss lonely heart is deeper?

Logan: Doing you proves I don't care about Lulu at all.

Spinelli: The Jackal appreciates your concern, but I -- I assure you, fair Lulu escaped the incident without injury, and -- so I -- I just don't see the point in unleashing deadly force upon the unworthy one -- be it warranted or not.

Jason: Just tell me what happened.

Spinelli: I mean, I would come off wimpy if I, you know, ran crying to my wise-but-lethal mentor, seeking assistance with the crabby commando. I mean, you know, the Jackal is obviously a lover, not a fighter, but I would never ask nor expect you to intervene on my behalf. I was just -- I was just unloading my not-so-secret pain to you, my trusted and loyal friend. I never intended for the crabby commando to disappear into the ether.

Jason: Did you provoke him?

Spinelli: I -- I may have commented on the unworthy one's simian ways, or maybe thrown an insult or two his way, but, I mean, nothing that warranted the beat-down that was most painfully received.

Jason: What did Lulu do after Logan hit you?

Spinelli: The brave Blond One was in the process of, you know, warning the crabby commando off, when he forced an unwanted kiss on her lips. And I, the Jackal, was ready to rise to her -- her defense, when the clean-cut cadet, Cooper Barrett, you know, beat -- beat him to it, so -- and he restrained him from further . But -- no -- okay, okay, look -- look, look, look, okay, the Blond One has forgiven the simian one's transgressions, she has. It's -- so, you know, out of respect for her, I think we should just -- just let it go, you know? I mean, all the -- all the major damage has been done already.

[Knock on door]

Elizabeth: Come in.

Sam: Hey.

Elizabeth: What do you want?

Sam: Well, I thought we could discuss your husband's new job. Um, I just -- I -- Lucky's hands-on approach is exactly what I'm looking for in a bodyguard.

Elizabeth: Well, if you need to speak to him, you're going to have to come back because he's not home right now.

Sam: No, actually, I was hoping to get your thoughts on our new relationship.

Elizabeth: I have nothing to say.

Sam: Wow. My gosh. Do you ever get tired of lying? It's just that you're obviously upset about Lucky protecting me, and I just don't know why you wouldnít say it, instead of doing whatever it is that you're doing, when you're trying to punish him. My God, I can only imagine the kind of cold shoulder you dish out -- except, of course, when you're with Jason.

Elizabeth: If you care about Lucky so much, why don't you stop seducing him to get back at Jason?

Sam: You don't seriously expect me to believe that you're jealous of Lucky?

Elizabeth: He is my husband.

Sam: Well, not in any way that really counts -- you made that pretty clear when you testified in court about your night with Jason. Why -- why are you even bothering to hold on to your joke of a marriage? It's obvious to everyone, including your husband, that you would rather be with Jason.

Elizabeth: Lucky wants to work things out. So do I.

Sam: The only reason why he wants to work things out is for the children.

Elizabeth: We agreed to keep our family together.

Sam: You did? That's funny -- where was that concern for Lucky when you ran into Jason's arms at the courthouse? Huh. You are not fooling anyone, Elizabeth.

[Door opens]

Sam: The only thing you care about is Jason.

Lucky: You're fighting about Jason?

Sam: I came over here to try and clear the air with Elizabeth so there wouldn't be any tension between the two of us, now that you're working for me, but all Elizabeth cared about was whether or not Jason and I were getting back together. Well, the answer's no, so you can have him all to yourself.

Elizabeth: Hmm.

Sonny: Whatever Carly's done, handle it, because I'm not in the mood.

Jason: It's not -- it's not about Carly, it's about Logan Hayes. I want that kid out of the organization.

Sonny: What happened?

Jason: He took a cheap shot at Spinelli, laid the poor kid out on the floor. Lulu tried to step in, and he got rough with Lulu.

Sonny: Okay, Trevor Lansing is nosing around for a takeover by Anthony Zacchara, and you're -- and you're worried about Spinelli getting into a fight over a girl? Come on.

Jason: I understand that, but Lulu is a friend.

Sonny: But Lulu is a kid, and -- and Spinelli and Logan aren't much more. What they do, think, or feel is not going to matter a week from now. As a matter of fact, years from now, they'll forget about each other. And if they don't, they damn well should.

Kate: Dinner should be here within the hour. They were out of the filet, so I ordered you the --

Trevor: It doesn't matter. I'm not hungry.

Kate: I'm not surprised. Emotional upheaval is never good for the appetite.

Trevor: Is that what you would call what just happened here?

Kate: Oh, it doesn't matter what we call it, Trevor. I think it's best that we try and put it aside. However, I would like to point out that this is my home, and I don't appreciate you attacking Sonny or anyone else who might happen to drop by.

Trevor: Exactly when did you start distrusting me?

Kate: I'm not distrusting you, Trevor, but you did have a affair with Sonny's mother that came to a disastrous end.

Trevor: Only because of Sonny's jealousy. Listen, if Sonny hadn't pushed his pregnant mother down a flight of stairs, I wouldn't have lost the woman that I loved, and Richard would've had a mother.

Kate: Which is exactly why you cannot be objective about Sonny.

Trevor: Huh. You know, I'm beginning to understand that you and Sonny are closer than I thought.

Maxie: That's it? Coop's always good for at least two rounds.

Logan: Huh. Yeah, that, what, last a couple seconds apiece?

Maxie: What, are you worried Lulu's going to come back to finish what she started -- oh, correction -- you're actually hoping she will. But the problem is if Lulu catches you here with me, then you know you'll lose her forever.

Logan: Why would I care? It's not like I love the girl.

Maxie: Then why do you look so guilty? Oh, don't tell me you're actually going to miss sleeping with that inexperienced, awkward Lulu?

Logan: As opposed to flexible, experienced you?

Maxie: Hey, I didn't hear you complaining.

[Knock on door]

Carly: Hey, Logan, it's Carly Corinthos, Lulu's cousin. Can you come and open the door, please? I'd appreciate it.

[Knock on door]

Logan: Get your clothes. Coming.

Carly: Logan?

Logan: Get -- get in the closet.

Maxie: Okay.

Logan: Go!

Maxie: Okay.

Logan: Ahem. Just one second. Sorry about that. What can I do for you?

Carly: We need to talk.

Logan: Sure, come on in.

Carly: Is this a bad time?

Logan: No. Why?

Carly: You look a little flushed.

Logan: Oh, no, you know what? I was just doing some pushups. You see, you got to stay in shape when you work for Sonny.

Carly: Hmm. This is about Lulu.

Logan: Is she all right?

Carly: She's great. I want to make sure she stays that way.

Logan: Yeah, you know, I'm sure you've probably heard horrible stuff about me, especially from the Quartermaines, about how I'm this huge jerk who doesn't be -- deserve to be within 50 yards of that girl, and you know what? They're right. I don't deserve to be with her.

Carly: Lulu doesn't agree. In fact, she thinks you're a truly amazing guy.

Logan: Huh.

Carly: I'm just here to see if you live up to all that hype.

Logan: You know what? Iíd be lying to you if I told you that I was a guy who never made any mistakes. The truth is I've made a lot of them, some bigger than others. But for whatever reason, she doesn't seem to care. You know, she -- she sees the best in me, even when I don't deserve it.

Carly: That's not necessarily a good thing.

Logan: Huh. Look, I know you care about Lulu, so do I. The girl gave me a chance when pretty much everyone else had written me off, and I'm not going to blow it. You know, I want more than anything to be the guy that Lulu sees when she looks at me. I respect her too much not to try.

Carly: You say all the right things. Let's just hope you can follow through with it. Because with all the people who care about Lulu -- me, Sonny, her father -- you don't want to screw up. If Lulu gets hurt, you get hurt. Have a nice night.

Logan: Thank you.

Jax: Hi, Lulu. Where's Carly?

Lulu: Um -- she went to go run an errand, so she asked me to stay here and watch the boys.

Jax: Oh. Are they in bed yet?

Lulu: They're putting on their pajamas.

Jax: Good, because I've missed tucking them in.

Lulu: Yeah, if you hadn't deserted Carly to go chase after your psycho brother, you might've been here every night to do it.

Jax: Well, please, don't hold back.

Lulu: You shouldn't have married Carly if you had no intention of sticking around long enough to actually be a husband.

Jax: Yeah, I know it was irresponsible to make Jerry a priority over Carly and the boys. That's why from now on they're going to come first, no matter what kind of trouble my brother finds himself in.

Lulu: Huh. Yeah, that's easy to say now, and the second he calls, you'll be on the next plane.

Jax: Well, you sound like my wife. But my days of chasing after Jerry are over, I'm going to prove it to Carly -- and you if I have to --

Michael: Jax!

Jax: Hey!

Michael: I thought I heard your voice. What happened?

Jax: Oh, don't worry about it, it's a long story. Give ma hug. Hey, come here.

[Jax chuckles]

Michael: So, you back for good now?

Jax: Oh, I'm better than back. I'm home.

Sam: Hey, hey, I -- I think you won.

Spinelli: Well, that would be a first.

Sam: Oh, what's wrong?

Spinelli: The Jackal is bereft for many reasons -- um, the rapidly rising price of barbecue chips, the vanishing of the polar bear, the absolute lack of testosterone coursing through my veins, not to mention the unworthy one's skill at winning the Blond One's heart. But most of all, I'm -- I'm angry at myself for telling the truth about my hated rival without pausing to think of the dire consequences.

Sam: Okay, what are you talking about?

Spinelli: Uh -- the fifth of the seven deadly sins, wrath.

Sam: Yeah?

Spinelli: I mean, it's one thing to know that -- to want someone to vanish from the face of the planet, and it's actually quite another thing to actually make it happen. When is the Jackal going to learn that just seeking revenge just makes things worse?

Elizabeth: If you're hungry, I made lasagna. There's a whole pan in the fridge.

Elizabeth: So is this how it's going to be from now on -- you'll just assume Sam is right and I'm wrong without even hearing my side of the story?

Lucky: Sam has never given me a reason not to trust her.

[Elizabeth sighs]

Elizabeth: Let me tell you something -- when Sam came over here tonight, she couldn't wait to throw your new job in my face and tell me how excited e was about all the hands-on attention you're going to be giving her as her new bodyguard. Oh, my God, Lucky, she might as well have been wearing a T-shirt that said, "I'm seducing your husband." How can you not see what she's doing?

Lucky: Who says I don't?

Elizabeth: You told me you wanted to work this out. That's what I'm trying to do.

Lucky: Yeah, well, why start now?

[Door opens and closes]

Jason: I'm just saying if Zacchara is getting ready to make a move, why do we need this kid on the payroll?

Sonny: Jason, we got a lot going on right now. We can't take time out to referee some playground fight that Spinelli's having. Tell him to man up. I know it's difficult, but he's got to stand up for himself for once.

Jason: What about Lulu?

Sonny: What does Lulu want you to do?

Jason: She didn't -- nothing.

Sonny: Then don't do anything.

Jason: Fine. I'm just telling you right now, Logan is a punk. If he touches Spinelli --

Sonny: I don't have time, Jason. Right now I got a lot of things going on, important things that are bothering me.

Jason: What is going on?

Sonny: I just saw Ric's father sticking his tongue down Kateís throat.

Jason: It's been a while since I've seen you like this.

Sonny: It happens. I mean, you know -- you know it, I know it. Nothing I can do about it. I'll calm down when I'm good and ready. You know, Kate came back into my life, and I ain't going to lie to you, it brought back some feelings. And she did everything she could to prove that she wasn't the girl that I knew back in Bensonhurst, but I -- I wasn't going to listen because I -- so I -- I yelled at her sometimes, I picked on her, and I even had you shoot that statue -- you know why -- because I wanted her attention. And it worked. And I thought that even though she changed everything about herself, changed her name, that deep down inside, she would be that girl that I knew back in -- in the old days. She's not Connie Falconeri anymore. She's not even Kate Howard. You know who she is? She's Trevor Lansingís mistress.

Michael: So that's how you got that cut?

Jax: Pretty much, yeah. Hey! Surprise!

Michael: Surprise.

Carly: Wow. You guys are supposed to be in bed.

Michael: Uh -- know, but he was telling us about his trip.

Carly: Let me guess -- you have a suitcase full of presents to pave the way.

Jax: Uh, not quite.

Michael: He -- he said that he only had time to bring the two most important things back -- him, and you.

Lucky: Hey.

Sam: Hey.

Lucky: I hope it's okay that I called.

Sam: Yeah. Now, look, if -- if you hadn't, I would've. I just -- I am so sorry. I didn't mean to show up at your house like that. I just -- I thought that I could make peace with Elizabeth, but I can't, I canít. I've figured that out -- not with Jason between us.

Lucky: Sam, you don't have to apologize. I know you were only trying to help.

Sam: Yeah, and ended up making things worse. I do that -- a lot, okay? I -- I find myself in this hole, and I try and dig myself out, and for one reason or another, I -- I just wind up sinking even further down every single time -- only this time, I'm taking you and wrecking your marriage in the process.

Lucky: Sam, you know what? My marriage isn't falling apart because of you.

Sam: Elizabeth made it very clear that she doesn't want you guarding me.

Lucky: You know, Elizabeth -- she -- she thinks that there's something going on between us.

Sam: Yeah, well, what do you think?

Sam: I'm sorry. Do you have a problem with this?

Lucky: You know, I bet you can't wait to tell Elizabeth. She'll be upset, you'll be there to comfort her, just like always.

Sam: Lucky, don't do this.

Lucky: You may get my wife, but you're never taking my sons. Speaking of which, I need to go check on my boys. Are you going to be okay?

Sam: Yeah.

Sam: Well, I'm surprised -- you had the chance to warn Lucky and you didnít.

Jason: About what?

Sam: Well, I told you I was going to get him into bed -- and I will.

Jason: Lucky doesn't deserve this.

Sam: Elizabeth sure as hell does. She wasn't thinking when she blew my life apart, so I'm just returning the favor. Unless, of course, you decide to kill me first.

Spinelli: Hey.

Lulu: I'm supposed to be packing -- my grandmother and I are leaving first thing in the morning.

Spinelli: Right. And, no doubt, the sea voyage will be a welcomed change for the Blond One -- an opportunity for her to clear her mind and cool her wrath?

Lulu: What wrath?

Spinelli: Okay, as you know, your loyal admirer tends to wear his heart on his sleeve.

Lulu: Spinelli, what's going on?

Spinelli: Maybe -- um -- maybe you want to sit down while I explain?

Lulu: Why? Why? What's wrong?

Spinelli: I just think you want to relax or something while I --

Lulu: Spinelli, just tell me.

Spinelli: The Jackal has the utmost respect for you. You -- you know that. I would never -- I would never intentionally subvert what must've been an emotional choice of ginormous proportion, regardless of how unsavory the object of that choice may be. Okay, that being said, not only Stone Cold, my loyal mentor and friend, he can also be the hand of death. And so --

Lulu: What did you do?

Spinelli: I may have set Stone Cold on a course to make Logan Hayes disappear permanently.

Maxie: Good job. You really laid it on thick with Carly, telling her how your intentions with Lulu were nothing but pure.

Logan: I was trying to get rid of her.

Maxie: Yeah, but, I mean, going on and on about how perfect little Lulu is saving you from yourself?

Logan: It worked, didn't it?

Maxie: You better hope so, because if Carly didn't buy your whole reformed act, she's going to make sure Sonny and Jason get rid of you.

Logan: Look, I work for Sonny, okay? The man's not going to off me for dating his ex-wife's cousin.

Maxie: Reality check -- you are using Lulu, and when she finds out, you're not going to be very popular.

Logan: Oh, well, then I guess you better keep your little mouth shut, because this was your idea -- or you're going to come out of this entire deal looking a hell of a lot worse than me.

Maxie: Yeah, but I'm already used to being labeled the town tramp, and it's somewhat liberating.

Logan: You've already gotten what you came for. Now you can get the hell out.

Sonny: Ah. Whew.

Kate: You shouldn't do that.

Sonny: What?

Kate: Drink alone. Mind if I join you?

Sonny: You shouldn't be here right now, Kate Howard.

Kate: Why?

Sonny: "Why?" Because, see, I'm a dangerous man, especially when I drink -- and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon -- so that's why I don't think you should be here. You should go back, and I'm not just talking about your -- your place next door. Sell out, and go back to Manhattan!

Kate: And who the hell do you think you are to order me out of town?

Jax: I know that I missed most of the summer with you guys --

Michael: A lot.

Jax: But there's still time to make up for it. I heard that the silent lady was feeling a little neglected, and I think we should all go out sailing for a few days as a family. What do you think?

Carly: I think we just got back from a long trip and it's a little too soon to go off again.

Jax: Okay, you know what? Your mom's right. We should just hang around here for a little bit, and maybe we can go sailing one afternoon.

Michael: Possibly.

Jax: And then at Christmastime, we could maybe go sailing down to the Caribbean as a family.

Michael: Cool!

Morgan: Please!

Michael: Please? Please? Please?

Carly: I think it's time for you guys to get to bed. Brush your teeth, go upstairs --

Jax: Okay.

Carly: I'll come tuck you in.

Jax: Good night. Good night, guys.

Michael: Night-night.

Carly: Good night.

Michael: Night-night. Hey, Morgan, did you hear? We're going to sail down to the Caribbean -- like Jack Sparrow!

Carly: Would you please not do that?

Jax: What?

Carly: Promise my boys a future when Iím not sure we have one.

Lulu: What did you tell Jason?

Spinelli: I was divulging my -- my not-so-secret pain to Stone Cold and may have referenced that unfortunate day that he -- the simian one planted his fist into my face, and then proceeded to kiss you against your will.

Lulu: You had no right to bring Jason into this.

Spinelli: The Jackal was concerned, okay? I saw how hurt you were when the crabby commando forced himself on you.

Lulu: Why don't you admit what this is really about? You told Jason because you're hurt and angry that I'm sleeping with Logan.

Spinelli: Look I -- I can never be angry with you, okay? It's just that the unworthy one --

Lulu: I asked you not to call him that!

Spinelli: Logan Hayes is bad for you. Okay, if given the chance, he will crush your blond heart without a second thought.

Lulu: Well, I won't have to worry about that if Logan's dead, will I?

Spinelli: Come on, Blond One, wait --

Lulu: No, I have to finish packing. And I choose to believe that Jason is not going to murder Logan for kissing me, no matter how badly you blew it out of proportion, but you need to fix this! You need to tell Jason that Logan is my boyfriend, he makes me happy, and he needs to stay away from him, because if he hurts him, I will never, ever forgive you. Huh.

Spinelli: Oh, God.

Sam: That was the threat, right? You would kill me if I did anything to hurt Elizabeth. I just -- I don't know. Does sleeping with a husband that she doesn't care about count? I mean, I wouldn't think it does, but who knows? Elizabeth would use just about any excuse to come crying on your shoulder. So when she does, am I going to, what, be found floating face down in the harbor?

Jason: All this anger you're carrying around is hurting you more than I ever could.

Sam: Oh, no, Jason. You have hurt me enough. And I don't expect you to feel bad about it -- I mean, why should you? You -- you don't feel anything else. So, answer the question -- am I going to die because I was hitting on Lucky?

Jason: Like I said before, if anyone threatens Elizabeth or her children, and I trace it back to you like I did those men in the park --

Sam: I'll be dead?

[Sam sighs]

Sam: Wow. I never thought that we could hate each other this much.

Lucky: The boys still asleep?

Elizabeth: Yeah, they have been for a couple hours now.

Lucky: Well, I thought in all the fighting, they might've woke up.

Elizabeth: Do you think there's a chance that we can finish talking without raising our voices?

Lucky: I'm listening

Elizabeth: Okay. I know you're still furious with me for lying to you, and I accept that it's going to take some time for you to work through that. But you need to accept that I had my own reasons for not telling you the truth. Lucky, you were in recovery. I couldn't take that chance of you going back to using pills. I would've done anything to keep you from killing yourself. Our boys need you.

Lucky: You know that I would never do anything to hurt Cameron and Jake.

Elizabeth: Well, all this fighting is hurting them. And I'm not going to let them grow up in a family where their parents are constantly at each other's throats. It's not fair to them. So if you can't let go of your anger -- no matter how justified you think it is -- then it's time we end our marriage right now.

Jax: I thought we were working things out.

Carly: We've been working things out since the day we got engaged. First, Sonny kept interfering, then Jerry needed help. And because you went after him again, you slept with another woman.

Jax: I only slept with Irina after she threatened to kill you and the boys. Now, forgive me for thinking that your safety is more important than the vows I took.

Carly: It wouldn't have happened if you didn't leave!

Jax: Right, no, of course it wouldn't have happened.

Carly: This is exactly what I'm talking about -- you're not home five minutes, and we're fighting!

[Jax sighs]

Carly: We're not supposed to turn into these people, okay? Our marriage is the marriage that's supposed to last, Jax.

Jax: Yes, and it still can be. Look, I know -- I know that I made a lot of mistakes, and I'm going to make up for them. I meant what I said. Nothing is more important to me than our life together, so please tell me that you believe that, too.

Carly: I have to check on the boys.

Jax: Oh Ė

Sonny: You really don't want to do this with me right now.

Kate: Would you just --

Sonny: No, I'm just --

Kate: Stop telling me what I want, and how I should feel, and what I should do for just one minute and just listen to me? It's all I'm asking. Okay -- okay, um -- yeah, I did, I did. I had an affair with Trevor Lansing. And in all honesty, I was his mistress for five years. That was a long time ago, Sonny. I was very young, I was in a big city, I was alone, and I was ambitious. I did know who he was and what he could do for me, but I cared for him. We stayed friends when it ended, and I'm not going to apologize for that.

Sonny: Of course youíre not, because Kate Howard doesn't apologize!

Kate: Okay, so you're just going to stand there -- you're going to stand there and judge me?

Sonny: No, I'm not --

Kate: We both wanted something more than we could have in Bensonhurst. The only difference is, is when I made something of myself, I did it legally.

Sonny: No, no, because you did it on your back.

Kate: Oh --

Sonny: Don't even. That's what I'm talking about. That's why I said you shouldn't be here.

Kate: So, what -- so, what, you can just drown your rage in the bottom of a bottle?

Sonny: Why do you care anyway? I mean, you know, you got -- you got an answer for everything. What am I to you?

>> Next week on "General Hospital" --

Emily: There is no such thing as happily ever after.

Kate: You're upset because Trevor and I were lovers.

Sonny: Where does that leave us?

Carly: You're making our marriage a contest! I don't want to live like this!

Jax: Well, guess what -- neither do I.

Lucky: If I don't get over Jason, you're leaving me?

Elizabeth: Yes.
